Jenna Ortega cast in Winter Spring Summer or Fall

OHMYGOSSIP — Jenna Ortega is to star in ‘Winter Spring Summer or Fall’.
The 20-year-old actress will team up with her ‘Wednesday’ co-star Percy Hynes White in the romantic drama that is being helmed by Tiffany Paulsen in her feature directorial debut.
The picture follows two teenagers (Ortega and Hynes White) on the cusp of adulthood as they meet and fall in love on four significant days of the year.
The script has been written by Dan Schoffer with revisions by Paulsen and will be produced by MPCA’s Brad Krevoy, together with Josh Shader and David Wulf.
Paulsen has previous in the genre after writing the romantic films ‘Holidate’ and ‘About Fate’.
In a statement, Krevoy said: “We’re excited to be further diversifying MPCA’s robust slate with ‘Winter Spring Summer or Fall’.
“Jenna is enormously talented as an actor and producer, and we know both she and Percy will bring heartfelt depth to their roles and that, along with Tiffany’s experience with character and her vision for the film, will only enhance the brilliant script from Dan.”
Ortega stars as Wednesday Addams in the Netflix series ‘Wednesday’ and admits she can see similarities between her real-life self and her alter ego.
She said: “People have been telling me I look like her since I was six years old. And I have a pretty dark sense of humour!”
Despite this, Jenna needed to make some adjustments in order to play the role.
The ‘Scream’ star told PEOPLE: “I had to do things a bit different with my physicality and the way I carried myself.
“She almost has a social awkwardness. So when she does toxic, manipulative things, you know it’s not coming out of malicious intent.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Keaton has set the cast for ‘Knox Goes Away’.
The 71-year-old actor is to both star in and direct the noir thriller and will be joined in the project by James Marsden, Al Pacino and Marcia Gay Harden.
The cast also includes Suzy Nakamura, Joanna Kulig, Ray McKinnon, John Hoogenakker and Lela Loren.
Keaton plays John Knox, a contract killer who has been diagnosed with a fast-moving form of dementia. He is determined to spend his final days attempting to redeem himself by saving the life of his estranged son (Marsden). Knox finds himself in a race against the authorities as well as his rapidly declining mind.
Gregory Poirier has written the script for the movie that is being produced by Brookstreet’s Trevor Mathews and Nick Gordon along with Keaton, Michael Sugar and Ashley Zalta for Sugar23.
Brookstreet and Sugar23 said: “Original noir thrillers like this are a rarity nowadays, so as producers, and movie lovers, we couldn’t be more excited to be a part of this project.
“With Michael Keaton both behind and in front of the camera, combined with the rest of our gifted cast and crew, the audience is in for a real treat.”
Michael is set to reprise the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman in the upcoming movie ‘The Flash’ and explained that he focused on making a good film to mark his return as the Caped Crusader.
He said: “It has to be good. There’s no reason to do it if it’s not good. I’m not gonna really change anything.”
Keaton explained that he had been tempted to return as Batman even before Warner Bros. approached him to feature in ‘The Flash’.
He recalled: “I thought, ‘Boy, what would that be like?’ And then, coincidentally, there were murmurs, and I got a call from Warner Bros. They wanted to talk to me about something and there were hints of Batman.”

Ben Shephard almost became a stripper after university

OHMYGOSSIP — Ben Shephard almost became a stripper after leaving university.
The 48-year-old TV presenter has revealed that he considered turning to stripping in a bid to earn some much-needed cash.
He shared: “Me and Sam, my housemate – we decided to get some money. We were going to be strippers at the end of university time. And we were going to do some of the sport teams’ end-of-season parties to get some money.”
However, Ben’s wife Annie ultimately talked him out of it. And the ‘Good Morning Britain’ star now accepts that it wasn’t a good idea.
He told ‘That Gaby Roslin Podcast’: “Annie talked us out of it at the time and … I’m not sure that was such a good idea.”
Ben can still vividly recall Annie’s advice.
She told him: “You are kidding, aren’t you? You know you’re not going to do this. As much as this seems like a really good idea to the two of you, you are not going to do this.”
Meanwhile, Ben recently opened up about his struggles with imposter syndrome.
The TV star recalled feeling like a fraud after being axed from a presenting role in the 90s, when his boss told him that it wasn’t “working” with him on screen.
Ben said: “It was brutal because it came out of nowhere. I was about 25 and thought I was going to be with Channel 4 for a couple of years.
“Then all of a sudden it was done and I clearly hadn’t been good enough in that role. It was really hard coming away from that and the reality of suddenly not having an income and not having a job. But what you realise is that when something goes wrong and then an opportunity comes along, you grab it even harder.”

The comedy star revealed earlier this year that he had been diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer – but Rhod is trying to remain optimistic and he’s already making plans for 2023.

Rhod has undergone surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy at the Velindre Cancer Centre in Cardiff.
And he’s thanked the staff there for their efforts over recent months.
He wrote: “I am recovering well, laughing a lot and feeling happy and positive; we are all optimistic that I will come through this.

Rhod also discussed some of the symptoms of his health problems.

“I was having all sorts of problems and we couldn’t get to the bottom of it.
“It turns out I’ve got stage four cancer. I also caught Covid on that walk as well. I came home with cancer and Covid from a Velindre fundraising trek … the irony of that! I went as a Velindre patron and came home as a patient. (sic)”

Henry Cavill set for Warhammer 40,000 series after Superman exit

OHMYGOSSIP — Henry Cavill is set to star in Amazon’s ‘Warhammer 40,000’ series following his Superman departure.
The 39-year-old actor announced on Wednesday (14.12.22) that he will not be returning as the Man of Steel on the big screen after DC Studios bosses James Gunn and Peter Safran decided to take the superhero in a new direction but is now attached to star in the new series based on the miniature wargame.
Amazon is in final negotiations for the rights to the game, which is made by Games Workshop, after a competitive battle for the project.
No writers or showrunners are currently attached to the series, but Vertigo Entertainment are involved as executive producers.
‘Warhammer 40,000’ features intricate miniature figures that players can place and move around a model-constructed battlefield.
The game is set 40,000 years into the future where human civilisation is locked in a war with aliens and magical beings, with gods and demons figuring into a theological class system.
Henry is known to be a ‘Warhammer 40,000’ fan and paints figures but it is unclear if the show will be his next project until Amazon closes the deal.
The star confirmed the “sad news” of his Superman exit earlier this week after meeting with DC bosses Gunn and Safran, less than two months after announcing that he was set to return as the hero.
In a statement shared on Instagram, he said: “I have just had a meeting with James Gunn and Peter Safran and it’s sad news, everyone. I will, after all, not be returning as Superman.
“After being told by the studio to announce my return back in October, prior to their hire, this news isn’t the easiest, but that’s life.
“The changing of the guard is something that happens, I respect that. James and Peter have a universe to build.
“I wish them and all involved with the new universe the best of luck, and the happiest of fortunes.”

Jon Culshaw’s portrayal of Les Dawson is ‘uncanny’

OHMYGOSSIP — Charlotte Dawson thinks Jon Culshaw’s portrayal of her late dad Les is “uncanny”.
The 30-year-old daughter of the popular comedian – who died in 1993, aged 62 – has taken to social media after she watched Jon portray Les in the stage show ‘Flying High’, which is currently touring the UK.
Charlotte – who watched the show alongside her mum Tracy, 71 – wrote on Instagram: “It was so surreal watching @jonculshawofficial playing my dad in Les Dawson flying high last night. Jon sounded exactly like my dad, the mannerisms, the way he looked. It was uncanny.
“I was blown away, mum and I were very emotional.. thank you for playing my dad so perfectly and his life. He worked so hard, he had so many knock backs but despite that carried on and never gave up on his dreams..
“look at him now, a huge legend and hero to many.. and still loved by everyone after 30 years. Wish you were here so much daddy. but feel so proud to be your daughter. (sic)”
Charlotte – who has Noah, 22 months, with Matt Sarsfield – previously claimed that she can still feel her dad’s presence in her life.
She explained: “I honestly do just feel him all around us. I know he’s always there and is watching over us and looking out for us all the time.
“Noah has the same star sign as my dad and he was born exactly a week before dad’s birthday.”
Charlotte can also see strong similarities between her dad and her baby boy.
She said: “I feel like when Noah pulls certain faces, he looks just like my dad, which is so lovely to me. It’s like a comfort, and he’s definitely a character like his granddad.”

Big Zuu ‘focused on Ross Kemp’ during BAFTAs speech

OHMYGOSSIP — Big Zuu “focused on Ross Kemp’s head” during his BAFTAs acceptance speech.
The 27-year-old TV personality won two BAFTAs earlier this year for ‘Big Zuu’s Big Eats’, and he’s now revealed how Ross, 58, helped him to get through his first speech of the night.
Zuu – who won the Entertainment Performance and Features gongs – said on ‘The Jonathan Ross Show’: “I definitely didn’t expect to win.
“When I won the first BAFTA, you get on stage and there is an autocue and a camera. I wasn’t reading the autocue because I was freestyling the speech. I didn’t want to look at the camera so I had to find a focal point to direct my speech and I saw a shiny head – it was Ross Kemp.
“I was looking at Ross Kemp and I was thinking about that while I was saying this speech. I focused on Ross Kemp’s head and said the speech of my life and then yeah two BAFTAs. Big up Ross Kemp!”
During his speech, Zuu reflected on the importance of “representation” on TV.
The rapper – whose mother is from Sierra Leone and whose dad is from Lebanon – told the audience: “Representation is so important.
“Growing up, there weren’t many chefs or people that looked like me on telly. And now, there’s young people watching us doing our ting, going, ‘You know what, if these wastemen can win a BAFTA, surely we can.'”
The London-born later admitted to being shocked by his success in the Entertainment Performance category.
He joked: “I kind of let it all out in the first speech!”
‘The Jonathan Ross Show’ airs on Saturday (17.12.22) at 10.05pm on ITV1 and ITVX.

Gordon Ramsay ‘would compete on Strictly Come Dancing’

OHMYGOSSIP — Gordon Ramsay is open to joining ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The ‘Kitchen Nightmares’ star has confirmed that he’s open to the idea of competing on the BBC show and following in the footsteps of his 21-year-old daughter Tilly, who appeared on ‘Strictly’ in 2021.
Asked about the possibility on ‘The Jonathan Ross Show’, Gordon replied: “I would love to dance but I’ve got a huge problem – I’ve got size 15 feet.
“Tilly did it last year and she was amazing. I don’t know. Those dancers are amazing. I’d love to learn how to dance properly.”
Gordon also has Megan, 24, Holly, 22, Jack, 22, and Oscar, three, with his wife Tana. But the TV chef doesn’t know whether Jack – who is in the marines – will be at home for Christmas.
He said: “Jack is super busy.
“Oscar is getting excited for Father Christmas. We play tricks on him now where we get these phone messages literally from Father Christmas to get him to bed early or else you’re in trouble!”
Meanwhile, Gordon has also given fans an insight into his new show, ‘Next Level Chef’, which will launch on ITV1 and ITVX in 2023.
He explained: “It’s launching next month. It’s three amazing kitchens stacked on top of one another. Basement level kitchen, middle kitchen and top flight kitchen, which is incredible.
“In the middle of these kitchens is this incredible platform and it starts from the top and works its way down to the bottom. The idea is you grab ingredients and cook your way to the top floor.
“The difference with the show is how quick you have to pivot. There is no set agenda or set recipes. You’ve got 40 minutes to cook this amazing dish.”
‘The Jonathan Ross Show’ airs on Saturday (17.12.22) at 10.05pm on ITV1 and ITVX.

Owen Warner filmed Hollyoaks scene in Australia

OHMYGOSSIP — Owen Warner filmed a ‘Hollyoaks’ scene when he was in Australia.
The 23-year-old star was recently Down Under to take part in the latest series of ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’, on which he finished second, and soon after he came out of the jungle he was asked to shoot a segment via video.
He said: “It was a little bit. I got taken downstairs and they gave me a script and were like, ‘Learn this,’ and I was like, ‘What?’
“I was there doing a FaceTime and it took me a while to learn that.”
Owen has since returned to the Hollyoaks set, which is based in Liverpool, and he has been a “bit rusty” on set since he got back from the jungle.
He said: “I was a bit rusty when I came back. Usually I’m quite good at learning lines.
“I’ll read a page once or twice and it’s lodged in my brain.
“But I came back, read it once or twice and it wasn’t sticking. I was like, ‘Mate, have I lost that?’ ”
Owen went without his mobile phone for three weeks on the ITV show, but he was in no rush to turn it back on when he had finished on the programme, admitting he didn’t even turn his gadget on until after the mammoth 24-hour flight back to the UK.
Speaking on ‘This Morning’, he added: “After you leave your head is scrambled. It’s all fuzzy, you don’t know what’s going on, you’re carted here and there.
“I didn’t turn my phone on until I got back to England. Real life was too much. I was not ready to deal with that phone straight away.
“I had a lot of catching up to do.”

Jack Whitehall gave up his US comedy career after being booked to perform in ‘a sex shop’

OHMYGOSSIP — Jack Whitehall gave up his US comedy career after being booked to perform in “a sex shop”.
The ‘Bad Education’ star wasn’t sure if he had arrived at the right spot when he rocked up to his gig, which happened to be at an adult-only store in Los Angeles.
The 34-year-old funnyman told fellow comedian Alan Carr, 46, on his ‘Life’s A Beach’ podcast: “I got to the address and thought, ‘This can’t be right,’ because it was a sex shop. A sex shop in the middle of West Hollywood.”
Jack explained to the ‘Chatty Man’ host that at realising this, he then rang his agent, who told him: “No, we didn’t mention that” about the venue, which produced a “quirky comedy night” at the rear of the shop.
The ‘Jungle Cruise’ star said “there was no stage” at the gig.
He explained: “It was like 30 seats set out in the middle of an active sex shop with people looking around.
“My ego is moderate but there are standards that I have, and I am afraid this is the threshold to tell them my plane got cancelled/ I never arrived/ I perished in the ocean.
“So I had to browse. I did some window shopping, and then walked out and went home.
“I was like, ‘I think that’s it for my American career.’ ”
Jack – who is in a relationship with model Roxy Horner, 31 – also detailed how mother, Hilary Whitehall, once prepared him for a lads holiday to Ibiza by slipping “30 condoms” into his bags.
He said: “I was still living at home at the time. I got out there and my mum had somehow managed to get into his suitcase.
“I opened it up on day one of this holiday and there were 30 condoms that she had smuggled into the bag. I was there for three days.
“I was like, ‘How much use do you think these would get?’ I was a very awkward 19-year-old boy.
“And the funny thing is, I counted them when I came back and there were 31. I’d gained a condom rather than used any of them on that trip.”

James Norton is ‘amazed’ Happy Valley is ‘loved’ across the world

OHMYGOSSIP — James Norton is “amazed” that ‘Happy Valley’ is “loved” across the world.
The ‘Rush’ star finds it surprising that the crime drama – which he has starred in with Sarah Lancashire since its 2014 debut – has fans around the globe, because it is “quite specific” to its West Yorkshire setting.
The 37-year-old actor said: “It’s such a specific show about a very specific part of England.
“The accents and the temperaments and sensibilities of those characters are quite specific to the area.
“And yet when I go to America, I am amazed at how many people have watched it and how many people love it. People in the street ask me, ‘When is it coming back?’
“And that was a really proud moment, when I realised how it wasn’t only a show loved in the UK but internationally.”
James has teased fans they can expect the third series to be “as big and bold as ever”, and admitted so many people have asked him over the last seven years whether the show is returning.
He said: “I am immensely proud to able to have a part in it.
“To be able to say we have shot a third series and it’s as big and bold as ever is really wonderful.
“It’s particularly exciting because everyone knows it’s the last series so everyone is predicting and guessing how it will end.”
James described his criminal character Tommy Lee Royce and Sarah Lancashire’s Sergeant Catherine Cawood – who is the grandmother of Tommy’s son Ryan – as “epic adversaries”.
James said: “Catherine has her family and does not want to think about Tommy. He constantly forces his way into her life and her consciousness.
“In that sort of old-fashioned way, they are epic adversaries pitched against each other.
“They are obsessed with each other. There’s a kind of deep, deep hatred in the way that when you think about someone that you hate, they inhabit part of your consciousness.
“There’s a sort of, not love at all but, there is a kind of connection and affinity. There’s a certain kind of shared experience they have in that they both obsess about each other. In that way they are inextricably linked and will always be in some way married together.”

ITV’s I Have A Dream will find the next stars of musical Mamma Mia

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘I Have A Dream’ will find the next stars of musical ‘Mamma Mia!’.
ITV have commissioned a new competition show that will find the long-running ABBA jukebox musical’s romantic leads Sophie and Sky – who were played by Amanda Seyfried and Dominic Cooper in the 2008 movie adaption – by putting hopefuls through a gruelling audition process of tasks, masterclasses and performances.
Judy Craymer, the show’s creator and the global producer, said: “‘Mamma Mia!’ has always been a show that has encouraged young actors and given opportunities to those making their stage debuts.
“Just as our current Sophie and Sky in London (Meg Hateley and Miles Henderson) are making their West End debuts – so it feels the perfect fit for a TV show that will seek out new talent for musical theatre.”
It will form part of the lead up to a quarter of a century of the musical running in London.
Judy said: “In the lead-up to the celebrations for the stage musical’s 25th birthday in 2024, we’re really looking forward to working with Thames and ITV on this show and involving our well-loved musical as much as possible in the programme.”
The series – which will be filmed on a Greek island, just like the show’s setting – will be produced by Thames, who called it a “dream come true”.
Thames managing director Amelia Brown said that the show – which follows Donna’s 20-something daughter invite her three potential fathers to her wedding to finally meet him – is “like no other”.
She said: “Merging the global brand of ‘Mamma Mia!’ and all the talent at Littlestar with the power behind the talent show juggernauts such as Britain’s Got Talent will mean it’s a show that can’t be missed.”
Katie Rawcliffe, the head of Entertainment Commissioning at ITV, promised it will be “everything we could want in an entertainment show”.
She continued: “Legendary music, an iconic West End theatre show, high energy performances, and a brand new search for talent, set against the backdrop of a gorgeous island.”

Christopher Nolan recreated nuclear explosion without CGI

OHMYGOSSIP — Christopher Nolan recreated a nuclear weapon detonation without CGI effects.
The 52-year-old filmmaker is helming ‘Oppenheimer’, which stars Cillian Murphy as the “father of the atomic bomb” J. Robert Oppenheimer, and explained how he took the practical route when it came to filming the explosion of a nuclear weapon.
Christopher told Total Film magazine: “I think recreating the Trinity test (the first nuclear weapon detonation, in New Mexico) without the use of computer graphics was a huge challenge to take on.
“Andrew Jackson – my visual effects supervisor, I got him on board early on – was looking at how we could do a lot of the visual elements of the film practically, from representing quantum dynamics and quantum physics to the Trinity test itself, to recreating, with my team, Los Alamos up on a mesa in New Mexico in extraordinary weather, a lot of which was needed for the film, in terms of the very harsh conditions out there – there were huge practical challenges.”
Nolan, whose previous credits include ‘Dunkirk’ and ‘Tenet’, has described the upcoming project as one of the “most challenging” movies of his career.
He said of the film – which is set for release in July 2023 and also stars Emily Blunt and Matt Damon: “It’s one of the most challenging projects I’ve ever taken on in terms of the scale of it, and in terms of encountering the breadth of Oppenheimer’s story.
“There were big, logistical challenges, big practical challenges. But I had an extraordinary crew, and they really stepped up. It will be a while before we’re finished. But certainly as I watch the result come in, and as I’m putting the film together, I’m thrilled with what my team has been able to achieve.”

Darren Aronofsky puzzled by fatphobia criticisms of The Whale

OHMYGOSSIP — Darren Aronofsky has hit back at claims of fatphobia against ‘The Whale’.
The 53-year-old director has helmed the new movie that stars Brendan Fraser as an obese and reclusive English teacher who attempts to reconnect with his estranged teenage daughter.
The movie has received polarising reviews but Fraser’s portrayal has impressed critics and he has been tipped for glory at the Oscars.
The star gained weight for the part and wore a prosthetic fatsuit but some critics have questioned the movie’s handling of the subject matter and Aronofsky admits that the backlash has caught him by surprise.
In an interview with Yahoo! Entertainment, the ‘Black Swan’ director said: “Actors have been using makeup since the beginning of acting – that’s one of their tools. And the lengths we went to portray the realism of the makeup has never been done before.
“One of my first calls after casting Brendan was to my makeup artist, Adrien Morot. I asked him, ‘Can we do something that’s realistic?’ Because if it’s going to look like a joke, then we shouldn’t do it.”
Darren explained that he wanted a “fully worked-out” obese character and felt that Brendan was the perfect performer for the role of Charlie.
He said: “People with obesity are generally written as bad guys or as punchlines.
“We wanted to create a fully worked-out character who has bad parts about him and good parts about him; Charlie is very selfish, but he’s also full of love and is seeking forgiveness. So (the controversy) makes no sense to me.
“Brendan Fraser is the right actor to play this role, and the film is an exercise in empathy.”
Darren recently suggested that the movie is timely as it is being realised in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, which has left many people isolated from their loved ones.
He said: “I think we’ve all been in Charlie’s position in the last few years. We’ve lost so much human connection, and this film is about people who are isolated but trying to connect.”

Top Gear’s Freddie Flintoff airlifted to hospital after crash

OHMYGOSSIP — Andrew ‘Freddie’ Flintoff was airlifted to hospital after being involved in a car crash on Monday (12.12.22).
The 45-year-old former England cricketer was shooting an episode of ‘Top Gear’ at Dunsfold Park Aerodrome in Surrey when the terrifying crash happened – but his injuries are “not life-threatening”.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Freddie is in hospital after a crash on ‘Top Gear’.
“He was driving on the track as normal. He wasn’t going at high speeds – it was just an accident that could happen to anyone.
“All the usual health and safety measures were in place for filming too.
“Freddie was taken to hospital by air ambulance shortly afterwards.
“His injuries are not life-threatening and he is receiving treatment. Filming has been postponed for now and all anyone cares about is Freddie recovering.”
A spokesperson for the BBC has confirmed that Freddie was involved in a crash and that he was taken to hospital for further treatment.
Freddie became a presenter of ‘Top Gear’ in 2019, and the former England captain was involved in a crash shortly after joining the BBC show.
The incident happened during a drag race involving fellow presenters Paddy McGuinness and Chris Harris.
He subsequently said: “I go to great lengths to make sure I do well in ‘Top Gear’ drag races but, on this occasion, I went a few lengths too far. It will look more ridiculous than dangerous when you see it on TV.”
Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the BBC said at the time: “The health and safety of our presenters and crew on ‘Top Gear’ is paramount.
“As viewers of the recent series will have seen, Freddie is often keen to get ‘off the beaten track’.
“Tuesday’s filming at Elvington Airfield was no exception – but he suffered no injuries as a result of his spontaneous detour, as fans will see for themselves when we show the sequence in full in the next series.”

John Cena and Jason Momoa to lead action-comedy Killer Vacation

OHMYGOSSIP — John Cena and Jason Momoa are set to star in the action-comedy ‘Killer Vacation’.
The 45-year-old wrestler-turned-actor and the Hollywood star are leading the Warner Bros. flick, Deadline reports.
Further details are slim at this time, however, Mark and Brian Gunn have penned the script with John Rickard and Peter Safran producing.
Momoa worked with Warner Bros. on the pair of ‘Aquaman’ movies, the sequel of which, ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom’, is due to be released on December 25, 2023. The 43-year-old star also starred in Denis Villeneuve’s ‘Dune’ for the studio.
As for Cena, he’s currently starring in HBO Max’s ‘Peacemaker’ as his DC character of the same name, which he first portrayed in 2021’s ‘The Suicide Squad’ for Warner Bros.
Meanwhile, Momoa recently said he will keep playing Aquaman for as long as film fans are interested.
Quizzed on how much longer he will play the half-human, half-Atlantean , Jason told The Hollywood Reporter: “As long as we can. If people don’t like it and it feels like it’s past its due date, then we won’t make another one.
“But if they love it, then we will make more, you know. I don’t want to force anything down someone’s throat to watch it. But I love it.”
Momoa has had a hand in writing the story for the new film – which has now been delayed until December 2023 – and admits that he feels a deep connection to the part.
The ‘See’ star said: “We wrote a great story. I was one of the writers on it and the minute we finished (‘Aquaman’) I went in with a 50-page outline for the second one and they used it and they liked it. It’s got my heart in it.
“I feel very connected to the character and have played him across, what, four movies now?”
Momoa is unconcerned by the latest delay to the movie’s release as he is confident that fans will be happy with what they see. He also thanked Tom Cruise and ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ for making cinemas appealing again.
He said: “We killed it. We made something amazing and it’ll come out when it’s meant to come out.
“The nice thing about what’s happened with COVID is that everyone is trying to rush to meet these deadlines but we know it should come out when it’s ready to come out (at a time) when everybody is getting back in the movie theatres. So, thank you Tom Cruise.”
