Rosie Ramsey apologised to husband Chris Ramsey over lack of Strictly sympathy

OHMYGOSSIP — Rosie Ramsey had to apologise to her husband Chris Ramsey after she didn’t give him any “sympathy” when he was on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The ‘Sh***** Married Annoyed’ podcaster revealed she was forced to say sorry to the 36-year-old comedian – who reached the semi-finals of the BBC Latin and ballroom show in 2019 with pro dancer Karen Hauer – because she has realised how “gruelling” training for the competition is while she has been gearing up to take part in the Christmas special.
The 36-year-old television – who has two sons Robin, six, and Rafe, 11 months, with Chris – said: “Training has been good but it’s surprised me just how gruelling it is and how difficult the dance is.
“All the other couples’ dances are looking so polished and they’re doing such a good job. You definitely come in a bit naive to it and you think ‘Oh it’s easy’ but I’ve had to apologise to Chris!
“My husband did ‘Strictly’ in 2019 and I didn’t give him any sympathy at all. I told him he was overreacting and have I had to apologise because now it’s my time!”
Rosie – who will take to the floor with her professional partner Neil Jones, 40, on Christmas Day (25.12.22) – admitted “feeling really good” about her attempt at landing the Glitterball trophy.
She said: “I’m feeling really good about the show. It’s so positive and such a lovely atmosphere! Learning the routine has been really fun and there’s such a strong festive feel everywhere! Being a mother of two, it can be quite hard and overwhelming but doing this has actually helped me really enjoy this time of the year.”
Rosie – who will appear on the festive special with Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts, ‘Gavin and Stacey’ star Larry Lamb and CBeebies presenter George Webster – confessed she wants every bit of “sparkle” she can get her hands on in the run up to the programme.
Rosie said: “It’s been so fun being strictly-fied, I went to get hair and makeup done the other day when we recorded the group dance, and she was like, ‘Is this too much?’ I was like ‘Are you kidding me, no!’ This is ‘Strictly’ you know, I want ALL the sparkle!”
The ‘Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special’ will air on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Christmas Day.

Anthony Joshua to read another CBeebies Bedtime Story

OHMYGOSSIP — Anthony Joshua will read a ‘CBeebies Bedtime Story’ over the festive period.
The former heavyweight boxing champion is set to read ‘The Snowy Day’ – one of the first American children’s books to feature a Black main character when it was published in 1962 – by author Ezra Jack Keats.
The 33-year-old boxer will also read ‘Ravi’s Roar’ by Tom Percival on another broadcast of much-loved children’s programme.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s TV Biz column: “The reaction to AJ featuring on ‘CBeebies Bedtime Stories’ has been huge. There’s so much excitement.
“The BBC were desperate to book him in for another sitting, which he gladly agreed to. It’s a privilege to be asked twice and he sees it as a great honour.”
Anthony joins a list of stars such as Harry Styles, Tom Hardy and Chris Hemsworth who will take part in the show, which sees big names read the nation’s kids to sleep.
Other stars expected to read a tome over the festive period include Kate Winslet and Richard E. Grant.
To mark International Day of Persons with Disabilities on December 3, former Leeds Rhino rugby league star Rob Burrow – who lives with motor neurone disease and is father to Maya, seven, and Jackson, three, with his wife Lindsey – read another Tom Percival title, ‘Tilda Tries Again’, using his eye-controlled computer, becoming the first person to do so on the programme.
The 40-year-old star said: “Reading and literacy are so important. It doesn’t matter what your disability is, reading is accessible to everyone.
“Anyone can enjoy reading and develop a love of books and bedtime stories, just like me and my family.”

Rob Marshall had ‘no agenda’ in casting for The Little Mermaid

OHMYGOSSIP — Rob Marshall had “no agenda” when casting Halle Bailey in ‘The Little Mermaid’.
The 62-year-old director is helming the live-action take on Disney’s animated classic and explained that he and the crew auditioned “every ethnicity” before deciding to cast the black actress.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Halle said: “We just were looking for the best actor for the role, period. The end.
“We saw everybody and every ethnicity. (The goal was to find someone who can be) incredibly strong, passionate, beautiful, smart, clever (and with) a great deal of fire and joy.”
Rob explained that Halle has the kind of voice that was needed for Ariel and her love story with Eric (Jonah Hauer-King).
He said: “That voice is something that is so signature and so ethereal and so beautiful that it captures the heart of Eric and he looks for her for the entire film.”
Marshall explained that the team behind the movie took the opportunity to add more depth to Eric’s story in the new take on the film.
The director said: “The role of Eric in the animated film – I’m sure the original creators would agree with this – it’s a wooden, classic prince character with not a lot going on.
“There’s a whole story that’s developed in our film. He has a mother, a queen, that’s new to the film. He has a very similar trajectory in a way to Ariel. He doesn’t feel like it’s where he fits in, his world.
“These two kindred spirits find each other and really teach the world about prejudice and about breaking down barriers and walls between these two worlds.”

Nicolas Cage channeled Andy Warhol for ‘pop-art’ Dracula

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicolas Cage plays a “pop-art” Dracula in ‘Renfield’.
The 58-year-old actor stars as the vampire in Chris McKay’s upcoming horror-comedy film and revealed that he drew inspiration from the iconic artist Andy Warhol for his performance.
Nicolas told Empire magazine: “When I got a sense of where McKay wanted to go, I realised the movie has a comedic, pop art attitude.
“So I thought: ‘This will be a pop-art Dracula.’ Warhol did a great black-on-black Dracula. This is in that Warhol vein.”
Cage explained how he watched the classic vampire film ‘Nosferatu’ to help him bring Count Dracula to life in the new movie, which also stars Nicholas Hoult and Awkwafina and is slated for release in April 2023.
The ‘Face/Off’ actor explained: “I noticed all these little gestures that are, by today’s standards, ‘over the top’.
“When Max Schreck does that (snaps his wrist and extends his fingers) and puffs into smoke, I was like, ‘What is that? Is it dance? What is he conveying there?’
“I said to Chris McKay that I really wanted to find a place to put that in ‘Renfield’. I haven’t seen the movie so I don’t know if they kept it, but I tried.”
Nicolas added: “It’s a largely studio picture so I wanted to play with: ‘What can I get away with here?’ If you’re playing Dracula, you have a lot of latitude.”
Hoult plays the title role of Dracula’s servant in the film and says that working together with Cage was one of his most enjoyable experiences as an actor.
He said: “Being in the same room with Nic Cage, I mean that’s a trip.
“But being in the same room as Nic Cage whilst he’s dressed as Dracula and tormenting you as Dracula and you’re his servant is really some of the most fun I’ve ever had onscreen whilst being tortured. It’s really brilliant.”

Beth Mead makes history with ‘BBC Sports Personality of the Year’ win

OHMYGOSSIP — Beth Mead has made history by becoming the first female footballer to be crowned ‘BBC Sports Personality of the Year’.
Arriving on crutches at the Wednesday night (21.12.22) event at Media City in Salford, Manchester, after she ruptured her anterior cruciate ligament in November, the Lionesses hero limped on to stage to collect her award.
In an emotional acceptance speech, Beth – whose mother June is fighting cancer – said: “I am incredibly honoured to win this award. I have got this accolade and I did my job, I scored a few goals, but I wouldn’t have done it without my team and I certainly wouldn’t have done it without my dad, my mum and all my family.
“Most of all, this is for women’s sport and for women’s sport heading in the right direction. Let’s keep pushing girls and keep doing the right things.”
The 27-year-old topped the public vote ahead of cricketer Ben Stokes and Olympic champion curler Eve Muirhead, picking up her trophy minutes from the Old Trafford stadium where she scored England’s winner in July at the team’s Women’s Euros opener against Austria.
It was the first of six goals the striker netted in the tournament, before the Lionesses became the first senior UK side to win a major footballing trophy since Bobby Moore’s 1966 World Cup squad.
Last year’s SPOTY winner was tennis prodigy Emma Raducanu and this year marks the first time since 1972 that women have won the award in two consecutive years.
The Lionesses ended up with a hat-trick at the ceremony as along with Beth’s award, they were named Team of the Year, while their manager Sarina Weigman claimed Coach of the Year – also making history by becoming the first woman to win the gong.
Rugby league’s Rob Burrow was presented with the Helen Rollason Award, which recognises outstanding achievement in the face of adversity, after he was diagnosed with motor neurone disease in 2019 but went on to raise more than £7million for MND charities with three running challenges.
He said as he got a standing ovation while he arrived on stage in his wheelchair: “I am totally overcome with this award given the amount of amazing people who have won this before, in particular my MND hero Doddie Weir.
“I don’t think I would be here today without meeting him. I will accept the award on his behalf.”
Other notable wins included World Cup icon Lionel Messi who was named World Sport Star of the Year after propelling Argentina to victory over France in this year’s tournament final in Qatar.

Line of Duty returning for 7th series?

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Line of Duty’ is set to return for a seventh series.
The BBC police thriller could be back as early as next Christmas, with Martin Compston, 38, Vicky McClure, 39, and Adrian Dunbar, 64, all said to be on board to return for a new three-part series.
A TV insider said: “There was a very strong feeling, particularly among fans, that there was unfinished business with ‘Line of Duty’.”
Series six of the hit show – which is written and created by Jed Mercurio – saw elusive criminal mastermind H finally unmasked as bumbling Detective Superintendent Ian Buckells (Nigel Boyle), but some fans believe there could still be a “darker puppet-master” at work.
The insider added to The Sun newspaper’s TV Biz column: “Viewers weren’t satisfied with the ending of series six and were crying out for a more sensational conclusion – now Jed can deliver that.
“The question is whether the person we were led to believe was H really is the villain that AC-12 has been hunting or if it was another nemesis.
“There’s also a theory another, darker puppet-master is at work.
“The fact that they’re looking at taking the unusual step of making three episodes rather than the usual six or seven is a reflection of just how special this is for the show.”
Just this week, Vicky – who portrays DI Kate Fleming – admitted she was “sure” ‘Line of Duty’ will return at some point.
She said: “I speak to the lads all the time, we’d all love to, we’re all game – Martin’s in nine shows!
“It’s busy, I’m sure we’ll get there.”
Last month, Adrian – who portrays Superintendent Ted Hastings in the hit police drama – admitted the ‘Line of Duty’ cast have been “keeping their fingers crossed” that there will be a seventh series.
Asked if they might “do another one”, he replied: “Yes, there is every possibility. We’re all keeping our fingers crossed that we’ll hear something at some point.
“We all want to get back together again. We’d love to go back to Belfast again.”
In August, Adrian admitted a new ‘Line of Duty’ series might focus on “something from past episodes”, and he teased that the 2021 finale – which drew in almost 17 million viewers – may “not be the last” audiences see of the BBC show.
He said: “My thinking is that, no, it’s not the last you might see of us. I know that there are people who are talking and some plans, but I don’t know exactly what would happen. I don’t know what shape it might take. There was talk of a film, there was talk about maybe two 90 minutes, there was talk about three one hours, I don’t know.”
The BBC have declined to comment.

Rag’n’Bone Man to make EastEnders cameo

OHMYGOSSIP — Rag’n’Bone Man will make a cameo in ‘EastEnders’ this week.
The ‘Human’ hitmaker will give the Walford residents a festive treat when character Tom ‘Rocky’ Cotton (Brian Conley) persuades the award-winning musician to perform at the local carol concert fundraiser, as a wedding gift to Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) and Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks).
Rag’n’Bone Man said: “In the words of Gabrielle, ‘Dreams can come true!’
“Thanks to everyone at ‘EastEnders’ for one of the best days of my life!”
Chris Clenshaw, EastEnders’ Executive Producer, admitted it was a “perfect moment” for one of the soap’s super-fans to perform in Walford.
He said: “We have always known Rag‘n’Bone man is a huge ‘EastEnders’ fan, so when an opportunity came up in one of our stories it was the perfect moment for us to ask him to not only appear, but also perform in Albert Square.
“We are all thrilled that he said yes, and we hope the audience enjoy the special Christmas treat, as much as much as everyone at ‘EastEnders’ enjoyed having Rag‘n’Bone Man in Walford.”
Rag’n’Bone Man’s episode will air on Friday (23.12.22) on BBC One and iPlayer.
The star is not the only singer to have appeared in Albert Square.
In 1995, Robbie Williams was an extra in the Queen Vic, and three years earlier, Spice Girls singer Emma Bunton played a mugger in an episode.
She was previously up for the part of Bianca Jackson, but lost out to Patsy Palmer.
What’s more, King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla – when they were known as Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall – made a joint cameo appearance in ‘EastEnders’ earlier this year as part of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations for his now-late mother Queen Elizabeth, who died in September aged 96.

Megan Fox to play deadline AI robot in sci-fi thriller Subservience

OHMYGOSSIP — Megan Fox is set to play a deadly AI robot in the upcoming sci-fi thriller ‘Subservience’.
The 36-year-old actress is reuniting with her ‘Till Death’ director S.K. Dale on the flick, which will see her star alongside ‘365 Days’ actor Michele Morrone.
As per Deadline, the plot follows “a struggling father (Morrone) who purchases a domestic SIM (Fox) to help care for his house and family until she gains awareness and turns deadly.”

Millennium Media President Jeffrey Greenstein added: “Megan and Michele are perfect for this timely and provocative thriller.
“As Megan’s third film with us, this high concept and topical subject makes for a cautionary tale of AI and the frighteningly real dangers that could rise. With the addition of the talented Michele to add an extra layer of spice as our leading man, we are excited to see leading lady Megan and S.K. team up again with Megan lending her acting talents to an incredibly layered character.”

Bob Dylan offered Coronation Street cameo

OHMYGOSSIP — Bob Dylan has been offered a ‘Coronation Street’ cameo after revealing his love for the soap.
The ITV show’s series producer Iain MacLeod says he is considering writing an open mic night, set in the programme’s Rovers Return pub, and asking the legendary singer-songwriter to perform in the fictional boozer.
He said: “To hear that Bob Dylan is a Coronation Street viewer blows my mind.
“I would absolutely love the idea of him turning up in the Rovers Return one night.
“Maybe we could write in an open mic night and a mysterious singer could roll in out of the Manchester rain and do a turn.”
Iain has even suggested character Rita Sullivan – who is portrayed by Barbara Knox – could perform a duet with Bob.
He added to the Daily Telegraph newspaper: “I think Ken would certainly be a fan. Rita is also no stranger to a musical number, so perhaps a duet could be on the cards.
“Both he and ‘Coronation Street’ established their reputations in the 1960s, both have championed working-class voices and causes, both tell stories with a particular sensibility and sense of humour.”
Iain’s comments come after Bob admitted this week that he loves to binge ‘Coronation Street’ – which tells of the goings-on in the fictional northern English town of Weatherfield – and he also enjoys watching ‘Father Brown’, a series about a fictional Roman Catholic priest and amateur detective.
He said: “I recently binged: ‘Coronation Street’, ‘Father Brown’ and some early ‘Twilight Zones’. (sic)”
Bob – who was born in Minnesota, US – admits the programmes make him feel “at home”, and he much prefers to watch the likes of ‘Corrie’ and ‘Father Brown’, which features ‘Harry Potter’ star Mark Williams as the titular character, than tune into “foul-smelling or evil” shows.
He added to The Wall Street Journal newspaper: “I know they’re old-fashioned, but they make me feel at home.
“I’m no fan of packaged programs or news shows. I never watch anything foul-smelling or evil. Nothing disgusting, nothing dog a**.”

Ridley Scott rewrote Napoleon due to Joaquin Phoenix’s demands

OHMYGOSSIP — Ridley Scott rewrote ‘Napoleon’ because of Joaquin Phoenix’s “constant questioning”.
The 85-year-old director is helming the upcoming historical epic that sees Joaquin play the role of the French Emperor and explained how he made changes to the script to accommodate his leading actor.
Ridley told Empire magazine: “Joaquin is about as far from conventional as you can get. Not deliberately, but out of intuition. That’s what makes him tick. If something bothers him, he’ll let you know.
“He made (‘Napoleon’) special by constantly questioning.”
The ‘Blade Runner’ director explained that Phoenix’s approach proved beneficial for the movie’s quality.
Ridley said: “With Joaquin, we can rewrite the goddamn film because he’s uncomfortable. And that kind of happened with ‘Napoleon’.
“We unpicked the film to help him focus on who Bonaparte was. I had to respect that, because what was being said was incredibly constructive. It made it all grow bigger and better.”
Ridley and Joaquin had previously worked together on the blockbuster ‘Gladiator’ and the filmmaker had high praise for the Oscar-winning star.
He said: “With ‘Napoleon’, I think we dug in and found the character, or as close to what may have been. Joaquin is probably the most special, thoughtful actor I’ve ever worked with.”
The movie will be released on Apple TV+ next year and is also set to feature Vanessa Kirby as Napoleon’s wife Empress Josephine. The flick will chronicle the pair’s addictive and often volatile relationship.
Tahar Rahim also features in the movie as Paul Barras – the powerful Commissioner of the Revolutionary Army.
Ridley is producing the Apple TV+ project through his Scott Free Productions banner alongside Mark Huffam and Kevin Walsh.

Daniel Craig prepares well for Knives Out monologues

OHMYGOSSIP — Daniel Craig puts a lot of effort into his ‘Knives Out’ monologues.
The 54-year-old actor reprises his role as sleuth Benoit Blanc in the sequel ‘Glass Onion’ and revealed that he puts a lot of preparation into the lengthy speeches where he explains how he has solved the murder mystery.
Speaking to ComicBook.com, Daniel said: “I work as hard as I can before we start to sort of get it into myself so it’s in my body, so that when we get to set, it sort of like, it’s not a thought.”
The former James Bond star relies heavily on director Rian Johnson and tries to ignore his alter ego’s distinctive accent during the monologues.
He explained: “I rely on Rian a whole heap. I, kind of, present something, I’ll come and say, what about this? And then he goes, ‘Great, let’s try this and let’s try this.’ And it evolves as we shoot it, which is the best way.
“But I just wanna be as prepped as I possibly can so that I’m not having to think about the accent, think about the lines, it’s just, it’s there. It’s there on call. And then I can also throw it away and do something else.”
Rian also reflected on the amount of preparation Daniel does for the speeches and revealed that he always looks forward to the scenes in question.
The filmmaker said: “With the first movie and then also with this one, with that last section that you’re talking about, the thing I love about murder mysteries is the detective holding court and solving it at the end.
“And with both movies now, Daniel shows up prepped for that sequence as if he’s gonna step onto a Broadway stage and do it.”

George Webster’s Strictly dream comes true

OHMYGOSSIP — George Webster says his mind was “blown” when he stepped foot on the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ dancefloor.
The 22-year-old CBeebies host – who made history when he became the first BBC children’s presenter with Down’s syndrome – will appear on the BBC One star-studded Latin and ballroom competition’s festive edition on Christmas Day (25.12.22), and he accepted the offer to take part in the programme “straight away”.
He said: “I’ve always loved the show, I watch it every year and I remember when me and my sister were dancing around the living room, downstairs whilst watching it on TV. And from then I’ve always loved the show.
“So when the call came in I said, ‘Yes, yes!’ Straight away. It blew my mind actually being here!”
George, who will be partnered with pro dancer Amy Dowden on the show, admitted it has been a “dream come true” to complete alongside podcaster Rosie Ramsey, Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts and actor Larry Lamb on the programme.
He said: “I feel so excited and ecstatic! It’s just so much fun, a dream come true. I’m just loving everything second, it’s brilliant.
“It feels really fun, I just love the whole experience, it’s so much fun and I love to bring the joy to everyone on Christmas Day. We’re going to be dancing in gold outfits, I love them. They’re so cool.”
The children’s TV host revealed his favourite film, ‘Nativity’, inspired “the theme” of his performance on the Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly-fronted show.
George said: “My favourite is the film that is the theme of our dance, ‘Nativity’, it brings so much joy! It’s really festive and really funny, especially with Mr Poppy. He just so hilarious and it’s all about bringing people together, what Christmas is all about.”

Strictly winner Hamza Yassin had ‘deep level of rapport’ with Jowita Przystal, body expert claims

OHMYGOSSIP — Hamza Yassin had a “really deep level of rapport” with his ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ pro partner Jowita Przystal throughout the series.
That is according to Darren Stanton, a body language expert, who believes the winning pair of the star-studded BBC One Latin and ballroom competition were worthy victors, because the 32-year-old wildlife cameraman and the 28-year-old professional dancer displayed “synchronisation” during their turns on the dancefloor.
He said: “In the last few weeks of the competition, Hamza demonstrated a really deep level of rapport and excellent body language with his partner Jowita.
“There was also plenty of synchronisation, eye contact and reciprocal liking between the two during the final. As he won, Hamza appeared completely humble and grateful.
“He made a speech about his journey and how he had learnt a great deal about himself. I think his reaction to winning was consistent with why the general public voted for him, as he comes over as a genuinely nice person.”
Darren also praised the ‘Countryfile’ presenter’s focus on “delivering” for the judging panel – made up of Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse, Craig Revel-Horwood and Anton Du Beke – and the voting public, despite an initial apparent self-doubt.
Speaking on behalf of Betfair – https://casino.betfair.com/p/slots – the former police officer said: “I think the public like it when they see someone work immensely hard to achieve their dreams, which Hamza has managed to achieve over the course of the show.
“While the other contestants were determined to win, I think Hamza’s attitude seemed to be different to the rest.
“He stated that he expected to be kicked off of the show by the second week, however he listened to judges’ feedback, did his best and took every day as it came. His focus was not on the Glitterball trophy, but just on delivering a spectacular performance each week. He comes across as a very humble guy.”
Hamza beat off competition from Helen Skelton, Molly Rainford and Fleur East to win the Glitterball trophy.

Kasi Lemmons grateful to Whitney Houston’s estate

OHMYGOSSIP — Kasi Lemmons was grateful for the support of Whitney Houston’s estate during the making of ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody’.
The 61-year-old filmmaker has helmed the biopic about the late singer and is thankful that she was given permission to include the more “uncomfortable” elements of the star’s life in the picture.
Explaining the communication with Whitney’s estate, Kasi told Collider: “It was a push and pull. Anthony McCarten wrote the script with the permission of the estate, and he had a lot of stuff in there.
“There was a little bit of a difference between them reading it in print and seeing it fleshed out, and there were emotional reactions that had to be navigated, and there was a balance that had to be struck.
“But I really commend them for their commitment to telling a truthful story and including things that they were, perhaps, uncomfortable, with. But yeah, it was a negotiation. It was a balancing act.”
Kasi explained that it was a challenging task to balance the tone of the movie, which stars Naomi Ackie as Whitney, after the original cut lasted over four hours.
The ‘Harriet’ director said: “We started off at four hours and 16 minutes, it was the first editor’s cut. And so yeah, there was a lot of material. Just a lot of material. And honestly, balancing the tone of the film went all the way until the last minute of the edit.
“Balancing the music in the film, what songs were going to be included almost in totality, and which we were going to hear in snippets. That was a balancing act and how much of a relationship we’re seeing. It was a big process to kind of get it to the runtime that it is, and then we refined that run time up until the last minute.”

Nicolas Cage hopes to star in a musical

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicolas Cage wants to star in a musical.
The 58-year-old actor has enjoyed an eclectic movie career but is keen to take on a musical as it is an acting avenue that he is yet to explore, even though he is “not much of a singer”.
Nicolas told Empire magazine: “I haven’t done a musical yet.
“I’d like to try that. I’m not much of a singer. I did sing okay in ‘Wild at Heart’, I thought, but I’ve since blown my voice singing ‘Purple Rain’ incorrectly in karaoke bars.”
Cage revealed that ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ would be his musical of choice.
He said: “I’d think I’d make a good Pontius Pilate in ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’.”
The ‘Leaving Las Vegas’ actor explained how he has taken inspiration from a variety of art forms when making films – varying from Edvard Munch’s famous painting ‘The Scream’ to Elvis Presley and Andy Warhol.
Nicolas said: “When I did ‘Ghost Rider’ I was thinking about Edvard Munch’s ‘The Scream’. I tried to get the transformation scene to go right there (puts his hands on his cheeks and contorts his face into an impression of the masterpiece).
“In ‘Wild at Heart’ I was trying to approximate what it felt like to see Warhol’s marvellous collages of Elvis Presley as a cowboy with a six-shooter. I wanted to see if you could do that with film performance.
“Plus, I think if David Lynch could cast anyone in any of his movies he would have wanted to cast Elvis, so I think he was excited to roll with it when I suggested it.”
