Matt Hancock goes through hell on the upcoming series Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins

OHMYGOSSIP — Matt Hancock gets put through hell on the upcoming series ‘Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins’.
The 44-year-old politician – who served as the UK’s health secretary during the COVID-19 pandemic – finished third place on last year’s edition of ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here’ but “worked like a barbeque rib” along with the rest of the cast of the upcoming series of the Channel 4 military endurance show, according to its host Rudy Reyes, which was filmed before his stint in the jungle.
The 50-year-old army veteran told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Well, let’s just say that all the celebrities worked like a freakin’ barbeque rib from my hometown of Kansas City.”
Matt is due to appear on the series alongside the likes of former ‘Dancing on Ice’ contestant Michelle Heaton, model Danielle Lloyd as well as ‘Pop Idol’ runner up Gareth Gates and an insider explained that he had approached bosses himself to negotiate a deal for taking part.
A source said: “Matt impressed ‘Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins’ producers when he spoke to them and they want him to take part. He would be the biggest name to have signed up for the next series and it would be a real coup for the show.
“Matt knows there is a mixed perception of him in the public eye and he thinks going on the show would reveal a different side to himself. It is not unusual for MPs to take part in these kinds of shows and Matt thinks he could go far on SAS, despite it being the hardest of all the reality series on television.”
‘Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins’ will air on Channel 4 later this year.

David Attenborough regrets not doing more to preserve wildlife in the UK

OHMYGOSSIP — David Attenborough regrets not doing more to protect British wildlife.
The ‘Wild Isles’ star was unable to do more about nature in the UK – despite gaining international fame for his documentaries celebrating flora and fauna all over the world – because of an agreement made due to “internal BBC politics” when he joined the public broadcaster in 1952.
The 96-year-old environmentalist said: “There was a chap trying to establish Bristol then as a centre of natural history. He knew which strings to pull and I could see things coming to a head.
“Eventually we had a meeting and it was agreed I wouldn’t look at British natural history at all.”
David – whose career has extended nearly seven decades – explained that his part of the bargain was “stuck to until very recently”.
He told The Telegraph: “Instead, I would go to Africa, South America and so on and [they] could deal with natural history in Britain. And I stuck to that until very recently.”
“If there is one thing I regret, and to be honest there isn’t a lot, it would be that I spent so much time doing overseas natural history.”
Recently, the ‘Blue Planet’ star gave an explanation of how “parasitic fungus” Cordyceps – the fungus depicted in the new HBO smash hit ‘The Last of Us’ – possesses creatures like ants.
David said: “Jungle ants don’t have it all their own way. These bullet ants are showing some worrying symptoms. Spores from a parasitic fungus called Cordyceps have infiltrated their bodies and their minds.”
“Its infected brain directs this ant upwards, then, utterly disorientated it grips a stem with its mandibles. Those afflicted that are discovered by other workers are taken away and dumped far away from the colony. It seems extreme, but this is the reason why: like something from science fiction, the fruiting body of the Cordyceps erupts from the ant’s head.”
“It can take three weeks to grow, and when finished the deadly spores will burst from its grip. Then any ant in the vicinity will be in serious risk of death. The fungus is so virulent it can wipe out whole colonies of ants. And, it’s not just ants that fall victim to this killer: there are literally thousands of different types of Cordyceps fungi, and remarkably each specialises in just one species.”

Paul Mescal reveals that Gladiator 2 will start filming this summer

OHMYGOSSIP — Paul Mescal will begin filming on ‘Gladiator 2’ this summer.
The 27-year-old actor is set to star in the long-awaited sequel to Sir Ridley Scott’s historical epic and has now revealed that production is set to start later this year.
Quizzed about the movie at the BAFTAs on Sunday (19.02.23), Paul told Deadline: “In the summer. I’m not sure when the exact start date is but soon.”
It was previously reported that the movie had been delayed due to Paul’s theatre commitments as he is currently playing Stan Kowalski in ‘A Streetcar Named Desire’ on London’s West End.
Specific details about the flick remain a closely-guarded secret but it has been confirmed that Mescal will take on the role of Lucius – the son of Connie Nielsen’s character Lucilla and Joaquin Phoenix’s Commodus from the original film.
Russell Crowe has ruled out returning as Maximus Decimus Meridius in the project – that is due to be released in 2024 with Scott returning as director – and explained that it won’t be a “direct sequel” to the Oscar-winning original.
The 58-year-old star said: “Yeah we’ve had dinner and talked about it and all that stuff. So I know roughly how he’s shaping the story.
“But yeah, if you remember, there was a young kid who wanted to beat the Gladiator, which leads to the ‘My name is’ speech. So that young kid has grown up, and he’s now the Emperor.
“I don’t know what else happens at that point, so that’s the idea. So it’s not a remake. And it’s not a direct sequel. It’s not like the day after, you know, 30 years later or something.”

Barbara Broccoli: James Bond casting is yet to begin

OHMYGOSSIP — Barbara Broccoli has confirmed that casting for the new James Bond is yet to begin.
The 62-year-old producer and her half-brother Michael G. Wilson are responsible for finding the actor to replace Daniel Craig as the legendary spy but confirmed that there is currently no script or cast in place for the next 007 film.
Speaking to LADbible at the BAFTAs on Sunday (19.02.23), Barbara said of the speculation: “No, we haven’t even started casting yet.
“There isn’t even a script.”
A number of actors – including Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Rege Jean-Page – have been linked with the part and suggested previously that it would be a “couple of years” before a decision was made on the identity of the new Bond as film chiefs have to convince the actor that they are taking on a long-term role.
Speaking last year, Broccoli said: “The thing is, it’s going to be a couple of years off. And when we cast Bond, it’s a 10-12-year commitment. So he’s probably thinking, ‘Do I really want that thing? Not everybody wants to do that. It was hard enough getting [Daniel Craig to do it]. A lot of people think, ‘Oh yeah, it’d be fun to do one!’ Well. That ain’t gonna work!”
Barbara also explained that finding an actor to play the next 007 is more than just simply re-casting the part and is more about finding the person who can “re-invent” the role completely.
She said: “That’s why, when people go, ‘Oh, who are you going to get?’ It’s not just about casting an actor for a film. It’s about a reinvention, and ‘Where are we taking it? What do we want to do with the character?’
“And then, once we figure that out, who’s the right person for that particular reinvention? With [Craig], when we had the conversation at this very table about, you know, [whether he was] going to do it, he said, ‘Well, I’m going to do it. I really want to be a part of it, the whole thing.’ And he lived to regret that! But it’s a big commitment. It’s not just showing up for a couple of months of filming.”

The Marvels has been delayed by four months

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘The Marvels’ has been delayed by four months.
The upcoming sequel to 2019’s ‘Captain Marvel’ was slated for release on July 28 but has been pushed back until November 10.
Marvel has also shared a new poster for the Nia DaCosta-helmed flick featuring Brie Larson (Captain Marvel), Iman Vellani (Ms. Marvel) and Teyonah Parris (Monica Rambeau).
The film also follows 2021’s ‘WandaVision’ and 2022’s ‘Ms. Marvel’.
The synopsis is as follows: “Following the events of Ms. Marvel, Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel (Brie Larson), Ms. Marvel/Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani), and Spectrum/Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) begin swapping places with each other every time they use their powers and must team-up to figure out why.”
Hollywood legend Samuel L. Jackson returns as Nick Fury alongside Zawe Ashton as the villain.
Meanwhile, Brie previously admitted she doesn’t know if “anyone wants” her to keep playing Captain Marvel.
The 33-year-old actress has faced a huge backlash ever since she was cast in the title role of the 2019 movie and while she reprises the character, who is also known as Carol Danvers, in ‘The Marvels’, she admitted she’s not sure whether she’ll be back for another project.
Appearing at the D23 Expo to present a first look at the film, Brie was asked how long she will play Captain Marvel.
She replied to Variety: “I don’t know. Does anyone want me to do it again?”
But the actress enjoyed working with co-stars Iman and Teyonah.
She told the audience: “It was really nice to have a team. I had a team!”
The Oscar-winning actress has faced criticism from Marvel fans for varying reasons including not smiling in the trailer for ‘Captain Marvel’ and comments deemed sexist towards men after she previously called out the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s lack of diversity and noting her press days “appeared to be overwhelmingly white male.”

Tanya Manhenga dumps Martin Akinola on Love Island

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Love Island’s Tanya Manhenga has dumped Martin Akinola.
The 23-year-old beauty took the decision to dump the Casa Amor bombshell after realising that her heart was still with Shaq Muhammad.
During the show, Tanya told Shaq: “I don’t want anyone else. It doesn’t matter who walks through this door. It doesn’t matter what happens, what challenge is there … I don’t care about winning, I don’t care about anyone speaking to me. I only want you.”
Tanya also apologised to Shaq for her behaviour over recent days.
She added: “I just want to let you know, from the bottom of my heart, I love you so much.”
However, Martin subsequently blasted Tanya for how she’s dealt with the situation.
He also suggested that she’d humiliated him in front of the other Islanders.
In a clip from the next episode, Martin says: “Tanya, I mean, what the f***…”
Last week, Tanya cast doubt on her relationship with Shaq, admitting to Martin that she didn’t know if they had a future together.
She said at the time: “I’m coupled up with Shaq, me and him have been like this from the beginning [crosses fingers] … In the last few days we have had arguments, and they have been like, hmm.”
Tanya and Martin continued to flirt, and Martin suggested that he could be her first real “test” on the show.
He told her: “You’ve not really had a proper test.”
Tanya then replied: “Do you think you’re my proper test?”
Meanwhile, prior to entering ‘Love Island’, Martin insisted he would approach the show with an open mind.
Asked if he had his eye on any girl in particular, he replied: “I don’t just have one person – I’ve got options.”

Alan Carr set to join I Have A Dream to find Mamma Mia stars

OHMYGOSSIP — Alan Carr is reportedly set to join ‘Mamma Mia! I Have a Dream’.
The 46-year-old comedian – who had been linked to ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ before it was revealed Bruno Tonioli was replacing David Walliams on the panel – will instead appear as a judge on another ITV talent show.
An insider told The Sun newspaper’s TVBiz column: “Alan felt fed up that he missed out on the ‘BGT’ judging role to Bruno Tonioli, but getting the Abba show would go a long way towards compensating him.
“And he’d be the perfect fit because, like the Swedish singing legends, he is huge fun, brilliantly camp and loved by millions.
“It just remains to be seen if Alan and ITV can hammer out a deal because he is very in demand at the moment.”
Alan has been signed up by the BBC to present upcoming Saturday night quiz show ‘Picture Slam’.
‘Mamma Mia! I Have a Dream’ is set to air on ITV1 later this year with hopefuls competing to land the roles of Sophie and Sky in a new West End production of the hit musical.
They will be mentored by industry stars with a famous judging panel weighing in each week, with the show matching the production by being filmed on a Greek island.
Two winners will emerge from the grand finale, which is set to be broadcast from a London theatre.
Judy Craymer, the show’s creator and the global producer, said: “‘Mamma Mia!’ has always been a show that has encouraged young actors and given opportunities to those making their stage debuts.
“Just as our current Sophie and Sky in London (Meg Hateley and Miles Henderson) are making their West End debuts – so it feels the perfect fit for a TV show that will seek out new talent for musical theatre.”
It will form part of the lead up to a quarter of a century of the musical running in London.
Judy said: “In the lead-up to the celebrations for the stage musical’s 25th birthday in 2024, we’re really looking forward to working with Thames and ITV on this show and involving our well-loved musical as much as possible in the programme.”

Margo Martindale was surprised by Cocaine Bear casting

OHMYGOSSIP — Margo Martindale is still surprised by her casting in ‘Cocaine Bear’.
The 71-year-old actress – who has won a Primetime Emmy Award for her role as Mags Bennett in ‘Justified’ and appeared in the likes of ‘Orphan’, ‘August: Osage County’ and more over the years – never expected to land such a blockbuster role at this stage in her career.
She told Entertainment Weekly: “I never thought at age 70 I would be doing an action movie, but I guess I did!”
She has been cast in the movie – which has been directed by Elizabeth Banks – as forest ranger Liz, who crosses paths with a giant bear who has taken a huge amount of cocaine.
Describing her character, she said: “She’s no-nonsense.
“She’s devoted to her craft, wanting to go up in the ranger world, does everything by the book, and has her heart set on [a character played by] Jesse Tyler Ferguson.”
Although she previously played a trigger-happy take on herself for ‘Bojack Horseman’, the animated role was a vocal performance whereas this shoot was an altogether different beast.
She explained: “I thought when I read the script, well, I’m sure there’ll be somebody to do all [the stunts] for me.
“And when I get there, I said, ‘Are you kidding? You mean, I have to get down there and do that?’
“[Elizabeth] said, ‘You read the script!’ [Laughs] I did have a stunt double, who was wonderful.”
And when she did have to really throw herself into the role, Martindale had plenty of people there to help her out.
She added: “It was like people being so kind to me.
“When I would have to crawl around on the ground, or through the bushes, or be dragged by my feet, there’d be two very strong men waiting to help me up off the ground. It was fine. I was very well taken care of.”

This Morning host Alison Hammond ‘engaged’

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘This Morning’ presenter Alison Hammond and her significant other are engaged.
That is according to her future father-in-law Colin Hawkins, 72, who revealed both Alison and his landscape gardener son Ben Hawkins have popped the question to one another, but they are yet to marry and it is expected to be a private affair when they do.
Asked whether the couple are to tie the knot, he told MailOnline: “I do know they have both proposed to one another but there are no rings that I know of.
“They are really happy but they haven’t got everything sorted just yet but they are both talking about marriage, that is true.
“What I do know is that when it happens none of us will know about it because it’ll be done in private. That much they have told me.”
Colin also praised the 48-year-old TV presenter as “the nicest woman we’ve ever met”.
He added: “I love Alison to bits. She’s the nicest woman we’ve ever met. I would love to tell you a load of stories and they are all good, but I can’t because she’s asked us to keep things private.
“If you go to her when you’re in trouble, she will help you, that’s the way she is.
“I know they will get it together and I won’t be there to see it, but it will be a very proud day for me. I will be Alison’s father-in-law and that’ll be lovely.”
In May last year, Alison confirmed she was “off the market” after her ‘This Morning’ co-host Dermot O’Leary let slip on air that she had a boyfriend.
Speaking on an episode of the show, he said to her: “You’re not available anymore, but if you were, jeez what a catch!”
Alison initially said: “What do you mean I’m not available? I’m available!”
But she then admitted: “I have got somebody guys, I’m off the market, I’m so sorry guys.”

Seth Rogen was rejected for Daredevil film for being ‘too young’

OHMYGOSSIP — Seth Rogen and Edward Norton auditioned for ‘Daredevil’.
Director Mark Steven Johnson has told how Rogen tried out for the part of Franklin “Foggy” Nelson – which went to Jon Favreau – but the filmmaker thought he was “too young” to be a lawyer, while Norton had talks for the titular role of Matt Murdock/ Daredevil, which Ben Affleck played in the 2003 movie.
Asked if he met with Guy Pearce for the part, Johnson said: “It was definitely one of those roles where everyone was being mentioned.
“There were a lot of people in the mix. I don’t remember if I met with Guy, but I did meet with Edward Norton.
“I also remember Seth Rogen coming in to read for Foggy Nelson.
“He was so funny, and we loved him, but I was also like, ‘Dude, how old are you?’ He was probably 21 or 22 at the time – way too young to be a lawyer!”
But Johnson admitted part of the appeal for Affleck’s casting was because he was a fan of Kevin Smith, who penned some of the ‘Daredevil’ comics.
He added to Yahoo Entertainment: “I met with a couple of other actors, too, but Ben was a fan of Daredevil because of Kevin Smith, so it ended up being him. And then he became Batman!”
In the movie, Affleck’s lawyer character had been blinded during his youth but the accident heightened his remaining senses.
In 2015, the actor insisted the film “didn’t work”.
He said at the time: “‘Daredevil’ didn’t work, at all. If I wanted to go viral I would be less polite. That was before people realised you could make these movies and make them well.
“There was a cynical sense of, ‘Put a red leather outfit on a guy, have him run around, hunt some bad guys, and cash the check.’ ”

Adam Scott gave up holiday to star in Madame Web

OHMYGOSSIP — Adam Scott gave up his summer holiday to star in ‘Madame Web’.
The 49-year-old actor has been cast in the superhero movie and revealed that he wasn’t planning to work last summer until the opportunity to star in the ‘Spider-Man’ spin-off arose.
Adam told Collider: “I actually didn’t think I was gonna work over the summer before we started ‘Severance’ up again because we started in October, and I wasn’t planning on working at all before then. Then this came up, and I couldn’t resist.”
It has been rumoured that the ‘Parks and Recreation’ star will feature as a young Ben Parker – Peter Parker’s uncle – but he explained that he is unable to disclose information about the movie, which is also set to star Dakota Johnson and Sydney Sweeney.
He explained: “It’s really cool. It’s a really fun world and a great role, but I can’t really say that much about it other than it’s cool and fun, which I’m sure you’re so sick of hearing from people.”
Adam previously revealed that he was grateful that his casting had been supported by fans.
He said: “It’s really nice, and I think a lot of that comes from, it might be, I’m assuming rooted in ‘Parks and Rec’ because it’s such a sweet, smart show.
“And what I’ve found over the years is a lot of the fans, a lot of the people that approach me that wanna talk about ‘Parks and Rec’ are always really sweet, smart people.
“And so I like to think that it’s sort of maybe rooted in that. I’m always so appreciative of how nice everyone is, because it certainly could go the other way, like you said, which wouldn’t be quite as sweet and lovely.”

Emotional Dan Walker couldn’t sleep after near-death accident: ‘I might have a little cry’

OHMYGOSSIP — Former ‘BBC Breakfast’ presenter Dan Walker couldn’t sleep after being pumped full of painkillers following his near-death bike accident.
The 45-year-old Channel 5 news anchor was “glad to be alive” after he was hit by a car while on his bike in Sheffield on Monday morning (20.02.23), and the star admitted he was struggling to sleep later that evening after he was given several pain-relief drugs during the day.
He wrote on his Instagram Stories: “Can’t sleep … too many drugs I think.
“Just reading through some of the 1000s of messages today. Thank you so much. It’s so kind of you all.
“If my eyes weren’t so swollen I might have a little cry (sic)”
Dan was left battered and bruised with a bloodied face following the incident, and he was fortunate to avoid any broken bones.
He wrote on Instagram: “Bit of an accident this morning.
Glad to be alive after getting hit by a car on my bike. Face is a mess but I don’t think anything is broken. Thanks to Shaun and Jamie for sorting me out and the lovely copper at the scene.
This is my smiling
Thankful for our NHS (sic)”
Later in the day, Dan shared another message, admitting he was “very thankful” to still be alive, and he had no memory of the accident.
He wrote: “Blown away by all the lovely messages. Thank you.
Just got home from hospital. Battered and bruised but – amazingly – nothing broken.
Very thankful to still be here. I have no memory of anything and just remember coming round on the tarmac with paramedics and police around me.
Thanks for all your kindness. Jamie and Shaun were so great in the ambulance – not sure I was making much sense
Thanks to Conor the copper, Charlotte in x-ray and Hannah (in blue) for being so considerate and brilliant in such a busy A and E.
So thankful for our NHS
The helmet I was wearing saved my life today so – if you’re on a bike – get one on your head.
Smashed my watch and phone, ruined my trousers, my bike is a mess but I’m still here
Currently eating soup through a straw and being looked after by a gorgeous, furry, tired nurse at the end of the sofa (sic)”

Ruth Madoc’s family asked if they wanted to keep final scenes in Beyond Paradise

OHMYGOSSIP — Ruth Madoc’s family were asked if they wanted to keep her final scenes in ‘Beyond Paradise’.
The ‘Hi-de-Hi!’ legend passed away in December aged 79, but she is set to posthumously appear in the forthcoming BBC show, a spin-off of ‘Death in Paradise’, and the show’s bosses were prepared to cut the scenes if it was her family’s wishes.
‘Beyond Paradise’ writer Tony Jordan said: “It’s a cameo but she’s so amazing.
“We had to consider her family, before we decided whether she should stay in the show.
“Tim [Key] had conversations with them.”
Tony admits it is “bittersweet” that Ruth’s final appearance is in the new show.
He added: “You have to respect the wishes of the person who has since died but what’s bittersweet is that it is her final TV appearance, after such a wonderful career.
“So many of us grew up with her as Gladys in ‘Hi-de-Hi’!”
Ruth will play Rosie Colbert in the BBC spin-off, and the late star’s daughter Lowri recently admitted her mum loved filming the show.
She said: “My mum thoroughly enjoyed working on this, her last TV role.
“She told me how wonderful the entire cast and crew were and what a delightful experience it had been. She took great pride in this job, as she always did with every job.
“I find it brings me great comfort to watch her onscreen.”
The six-part series will see Kris Marshall reprise his role as DI Humphrey Goodman, who he played in ‘Death in Paradise’ from 2014 to 2017, and he will appear alongside several guest stars, including ‘Sex Education’ actress Samantha Spiro and former ‘EastEnders’ stars Davood Ghadami and Annette Badland.
Other guest stars include Samantha’s ‘Sex Education’ co-star Chris Jenks, as well as Jamie Bamber, Phil Daniels, Jade Harrison, Monsterrat Lombard, Yasmine Akram, Rufus Jones, and Dan Mersh.
They will star opposite series regulars Sally Bretton (Martha Lloyd), Zahra Ahmadi (DS Esther Williams), Dylan Llewellyn (PC Kelby Hartford), Felicity Montagu (office support Margo Martins) and Barbara Flynn (Anne Lloyd).
‘Beyond Paradise’ will follow Humphrey and his fiancée Martha after their nail-biting will-they-won’t-they romance reached its emotional finale in Saint Marie in 2017.
The pair will arrive in the fictional Devonshire town of Shipton Abbott, Martha’s hometown near the beautiful Devonshire coast, after they left London.
‘Beyond Paradise’ launches on BBC One and iPlayer in the UK on Friday (24.02.23), when it will also be available on BritBox International outside of the UK and Ireland.

Christopher Landon needs ‘bigger budget’ to make Happy Death Day 3

OHMYGOSSIP — Christopher Landon needs a “bigger budget” for ‘Happy Death Day 3’.
The 47-year-old director is desperate to make another movie in the comedy horror franchise but needs more financial support from Universal to make it happen as it will be larger in scale than the previous two films.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Christopher said: “I have (‘Happy Death Day 3’) in my head, and I know exactly what I want. It’s actually a bigger movie than the previous two films, and that’s part of the issue, ultimately.
“This third movie needs a bigger budget, but since the second movie didn’t perform as well as the first, it’s a tall order. But I’m still holding out hope that Universal will give me a chance because it would be a really fun conclusion.”
Christopher’s latest project is the family comedy horror flick ‘We Have a Ghost’ and revealed that he didn’t want to be “pigeonholed” by making fun slasher films like ‘Freaky’.
He said: “I just didn’t want to get pigeonholed. I don’t want to have to make the same movie over and over again, and if you want something to change in your career, you have to kind of figure it out yourself.
“So I very consciously wrote my way out of horror for a moment just because I really wanted to prove that I could make a bigger movie like this. It was something that I really wanted to prove not only to myself, but also to audiences as well.”
Landon added: “I really wanted to make a film that showed all the facets of me, and I think (‘We Have a Ghost’) does that. Plus, it’s the first movie I’ve ever made that I can probably show at least my oldest kid.”

Helen George and Olly Rix returning for next season of Call The Midwife

OHMYGOSSIP — Helen George, Olly Rix and Zephryn Taitte will return for the next series of ‘Call The Midwife’.
The trio – who play Trixie, Matthew and Cyril respectively – will join their co-star Judy Parfitt, who plays Sister Monica Joan, in a new season of the BBC One drama, which follows midwives in London’s East End.
According to the Daily Mirror newspaper, series 13 will see a whole host of familiar faces on the show – which is based on the book ‘Call The Midwife: A True Story of the East End in the 1950s’ by Jennifer Worth – amid fears that Trixie and Matthew might depart the East End following their wedding in the season 12 finale this Sunday (26.02.23).
Helen – who plays the bubbly midwife – recently spoke about the “long day” on set filming their nuptials.
The 38-year-old actress said: “It was a long day. We did go over our schedule by about an hour and a half. But it was also a beautiful day. There was a real sense of occasion. And it was lovely that all the cast got to be together.
“I think it’s natural for any woman to want to get it completely right – it’s an important day in anyone’s life.
“Something did go wrong on the day of filming, too. We’d been given pizzas, because everyone was starving. And poor Meghan [Cusack, who plays Nancy Corrigan] got grease all over her bridesmaid’s dress. That was a drama.”
There were also fears that Sister Monica could be in grave danger after she was diagnosed with hepatitis.
A source told the publication: “There are a lot of answers coming along in the final episode.
“Trixie and Matthew’s wedding plans don’t run smoothly, Sister Monica Joan gets a glint in her eye and Cyril has an important job to carry out.”

Chuckle Brothers’ Paul’s pro footballer dream ended by injury

OHMYGOSSIP — Chuckle Brothers star Paul was going to be a professional football player until his dream was ended by injury.
The star, whose real name is Paul Elliott, forged a career in showbusiness with his brother Barry – who died in 2018 aged 73, after being diagnosed with bone cancer – after he got injured while playing football as a teenager in Yorkshire.
The 75-year-old children’s entertainer told BBC Radio: “I got injured playing for Rotherham boys, the whole leg, it damaged the lymphatic tissues.
“They don’t know how I did it and I just couldn’t run. I was 14.”
Paul admitted he would have forgone his TV career if he could have played the beautiful gave for a living.
He said: “Without a breath of thought, definitely. I just loved the game, I absolutely loved the game.”
Recently, the CBBC legend shared his intention to deliver the Great British public something to “laugh about” as they need “good comedy more than ever”.
Paul said: “There has not been much to laugh about. We’ve had COVID, the cost of everything and even a war.”
The ‘ChuckleVision’ star listed some of his dream gigs, such as taking to the decks at the legendary Glastonbury Festival.
Paul said: “I’m still cracking gags and doing my DJ sets. I want to play at Glastonbury. I’ve no plans to retire. Making people laugh is the best feeling in the world.
“When you are on stage and hear the laughter you think, ‘I’ve done that, I’ve created it’.”
Paul also labelled the return of John Cleese’s classic 70s sitcom ‘Fawlty Towers’ “great news”.
He said: “It’s great news John Cleese is bringing ‘Fawlty Towers’ back. It was fantastic. I think good comedy is needed more now than ever.”
