Comic Sooz Kempner to play intergalactic assassin in multi-platform story to celebrate Doctor Who’s 60th anniversary

OHMYGOSSIP — Comedian Sooz Kempner will play an intergalactic assassin in a new multi-platform story to celebrate Doctor Who’s 60th anniversary.
The BBC show will mark six decades since its first episode ‘An Unearthly Child’ aired on Thursday, November 23, and it was announced on Monday (20.03.23) a new story called ‘Doom’s Day’ will play out across platforms including Doctor Who’s digital channels, comics, audio and video games to toast the landmark.
After a teaser trailer was released on Sunday, fans have now been told the tale will follow “the universe’s greatest assassin, Doom” played by Sooz.
The 38-year-old will be seen zipping through time and space in pursuit of the Doctor to help save her after Death was sent to hunt her down.
She has only a day – and a “vortex manipulator” – to save herself before her fate is sealed.
Returning showrunner Russell T Davies, 59, said: “‘Doom’s Day’ is a huge new adventure for the whole Doctor Who universe – starring the brilliant and hilarious Sooz Kempner as an intergalactic assassin.
“Her adventures will span comics, audio, a novel, video games stories and more, expanding the world of Doctor Who into brand new territories. Beware the Doom’s Day, it’s coming for us all.”
Sooz added: “To be part of the Doctor Who universe, a British institution up there with cups of tea and James Bond, is surreal and amazing!
“I love everything about Doom and can’t believe I get to travel across time and space with her.”
The new story follows a similar one called ‘Time Lord Victorious’, which played out in comics, magazines, audio and more in 2020.
‘Doom’s Day’ will kick off on Doctor Who digital channels followed by segments in their partners the Doctor Who Magazine, Titan Comics, Penguin Random House, East Side Games, Big Finish and BBC Audio, each telling a section of Doom’s story.
They will create their own adventures for ‘Doom’s Day’, with each focusing on one of the 24 hours Doom has left on the clock.
The standalone stories will also have an overarching narrative that will play out before the finale which will be released on Doctor Who digital channels.
A graduate and associate of the Royal Academy of Music, Sooz is a multi-award-winning stand-up comedian, comedy sketch artist and actor.
Known for her viral impersonation videos, Sooz recently wrapped on a forthcoming Big Talk/CBS Studios series for Freevee and throughout 2023 will be on tour with her solo comedy show, ‘Playstation’, before returning to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this summer.

Helen Flanagan ‘lined up for Celebs Go Dating’

OHMYGOSSIP — Helen Flanagan is reportedly being lined up for ‘Celebs Go Dating’.
The former ‘Coronation Street’ star – who split from footballer Scott Sinclair in October 2022 after 13 years together – is said to be at the top of the wish list for producers working on the E4 show.
An insider told The Sun newspaper’s TVBiz column: “Helen is the perfect candidate for ‘Celebs Go Dating’ and E4 is hoping that she will agree to take part when they approach her for the new series.
“She is a television pro thanks to her time on ‘Corrie’ and is incredible glamorous.
“Helen would be the star signing for the show and the production team have put her name at the top of their wish list as they think she would be a hit with viewers.”
Although “it’s still very early days” when it comes to the cobbles star looking for love again, bosses hope the mum of three – who has Matilda, seven, Delilah, four, and Charlie, 23 months, with ex Scott – could be convinced to give the show a go.
The source added: “Helen only split from Scott five months ago so it’s still very early days for her in terms of finding love.
“She is also a devoted mum to their three children and hasn’t had time to meet anyone new.
“But the producers think that Helen may be open to dipping her toe back into the dating pool with the help of the programme’s relationship experts Anna Williamson and Paul C Brunson.”
Producers are ready to “pull out all of the stops” if Helen does take the plunge and decide to sign up.
The insider said: “The show really does try and help the stars find love with people outside of their industry and Helen could take a lot from it.
“They will pull out all of the stops for Helen if she did take part.”

Princess Anne visits Coronation Street ahead of acid attack storyline

OHMYGOSSIP — Princess Anne visited the ‘Coronation Street’ set to meet the cast and members of the production team involved in the soap’s acid attack storyline.
The Princess Royal, 72, headed to Weatherfield as Patron of The Acid Survivors Trust International (ASTI), who have been advising the programme’s producers and writers.
After viewing some upcoming ‘Corrie’ scenes, she met producer Iain MacLeod, cast members Charlotte Jordan, Ryan Prescott, Andrew Still, Rob Mallard and Sally Ann Matthews, as well as members of the story team and make-up department.
John Whiston, Head of ITV in the North/MD Continuing Drama, said: “Working with ASTI on this storyline has been invaluable to all of us.
“HRH’s patronage of the charity is clearly of huge importance to both Her Royal Highness and the charity and it was an absolute honour to have them join us at Coronation Street today.
“The visit gave both cast and colleagues the chance to discuss how they have worked together to create and portray such a delicate and important storyline, an opportunity none of us will forget.”
In the hard-hitting plot, Daisy Midgeley – who is played by Charlotte – has fallen victim to a stalker, Justin (Andrew Still), who is convinced he is in a relationship with her.
Justin’s behaviour led him to be arrested, but he is released on bail.
Daisy becomes the target of an acid attack on her wedding day when Justin, in an act of revenge, goes to the Rovers Return pub to ruin her special day.
Charlotte recently said: “When I was first told about this storyline, I really didn’t see this coming. It’s not something you see a lot on television so I was really surprised.
“There is a fear lurking in the back of Daisy’s mind since Justin was released on bail. She has always been thinking, ‘Will Justin retaliate in some way?’
“Seeing him again after he has been warned multiple times by officials to stay away from her, she is certainly scared of how he is going to react.
“I don’t think Daisy really thought about how obsessed Justin was going to become.”
‘Corrie’ have also been working with The Katie Piper Foundation – which supports survivors of burns and traumatic scarring – on the plot.
TV presenter Katie was attacked with acid in 2008, causing major damage to her face and blindness in one eye.

Rachel Zegler slams ‘senselessly mean’ Shazam criticism: ‘Our film is actually very good’

OHMYGOSSIP — Rachel Zegler has hit out at “senselessly mean” criticism about her new movie ‘Shazam! Fury of the Gods’.
The 21-year-old actress, who portrays Anthea in DC Extended Universe (DCEU) sequel, insisted the film is “actually very good”, and she believes some of the disapproval is because it has become “cool to hate on fun nowadays”.
She wrote on Twitter: “hey our film is actually really good! but mostly i just absolutely loved making it and the people i met whilst doing so 🙂 go see it! give it a chance. we have an 85 per cent audience score for a reason.
some people out there and just being… senselessly mean. and it’s unnecessary. and i know, i know, “if you can’t handle the heat…” and all that nonsense, and you’re right. but our film is actually very good. it’s just cool to hate on fun nowadays. that’s okay. we’re good. (sic)”
Earlier this month, Zegler – whose breakout movie ‘West Side Story’ was released in late 2021 – admitted the ‘Shazam’ sequel came at the perfect time in her career.
She said: “I needed a job. I’m being so serious. The reality was we were in the middle of a pandemic, and I was not working. I couldn’t get a job for the life of me because ‘West Side Story’ hadn’t come out yet.
“It was really hard to book work for me, so I was really excited when this came in my inbox. I love the first movie, and the fact that they even wanted me to come in for a callback, and then a chem read and then everything in between. I’m so lucky that I got this job.”

Jordan Peele sets release date for fourth film

OHMYGOSSIP — Jordan Peele will release his fourth film on Christmas Day next year.
The acclaimed big screen writer and director – whose previous movies include ‘Get Out’, ‘Us’ and ‘Nope’ – is set to start work on his next project, but fans will have to wait a while for the as yet untitled film.
He’ll once again be teaming up with Universal Pictures for the project, which is currently slated to open on December 25, 2024.
As it stands, there is currently no information at all on Peele’s next offering, with no title, genre or casting news available.
This is true to form based on his first three movies, with those projects ranging from horror to Western science fiction.
Meanwhile, Peele previously revealed he already has “a few ideas” for his next film, whatever that may end up being.
He said: “I don’t know what’s next, there are a few ideas percolating. I need to kind of sink into the world a little bit and allow the world to sort of tell me which one is the next one.
“So that’s what my next couple of months will be spent doing… Sitting, watching, waiting, looking at my coffee.
“If you watch good films you’ll get inspired, even if it has nothing to do with anything you want to do.”
He has since teased the possibility of a ‘Nope’ spin off, suggesting there could be more films in that universe after IMDb listed Michael Busch as uncredited character Nobody, who was in the first trailer but cut from the movie.
He explained: “People are doing a lot of interesting detective work, is what’s going on.
“The story of that character has yet to be told, I can tell you that. Which is another frustrating way of saying, I’m glad people are paying attention.
“I do think they will get more answers on some of these things in the future. We’re not over telling all of these stories.”

Ferne McCann qualifies as a life coach

OHMYGOSSIP — Ferne McCann is now a certified life coach.
The 32-year-old reality TV star has revealed she has been on a journey of “self discovery” and decided to embark on a new career by working with The Happiness Explorer founder Lydia Kimmerling on getting a qualification which will allow her to use her life experiences to help others.
Ferne made the revelation in a video posted on Instagram, explaining: “I have something incredibly exciting to share with you guys.
“I’ve been quite open about how I have been doing therapy and working on myself for about five years now and that has gone really well. But now I have been working with Lydia Kimmerling to become a certified life coach.
“Guys I feel it – I just know that I have something to share, particularly with women where I know my experiences I can help so many people. And I really needed to go on a journey of self discovery myself and that’s the work that me and Lydia have been working on.
“I’ve needed to dig deep, I’ve needed to really get to know myself fully before I can start helping others.”
She added of her new venture: “I’m really excited, I’m loving the work. It’s mad like learning a new skill. I feel like I haven’t done that as an adult for a very long time.”
Ferne – who is currently pregnant with her second child – announced her plans after the new series of her ITV show ‘Ferne McCann: First Time Mum’ debuted on ITV and she thanked her fans for sharing in all her ups and downs.
She added: “When things are going well and you’re getting engaged and having a baby and all these lovely things that I get to celebrate with you guys but when the chips are down, you can’t throw in the towel when times are really tough and just be like I don’t want to film anymore.
“So with filming that time in my life I felt incredibly vulnerable but I wanted to take responsibility and share that with you guys.”

Alison Hammond expected to be named new Great British Bake-Off co-presenter

OHMYGOSSIP — Alison Hammond is set to be named the new co-host of ‘Great British Bake Off’.
The ‘This Morning’ star will be the first non-white presenter or judge in the programme’s 14-year history when she is unveiled as the replacement for departing host Matt Lucas.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Alison is a great choice. She will bring warmth and humour to the tent in spades. We’re laughing just thinking about it.”
The 48-year-old presenter – who shot to fame when she appeared on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ in 2002 but was the second person to be evicted from the famous house – previously competed on the celebrity version of the show in 2020 alongside James Blunt, Joe Sugg and Alex Jones.
She said on the programme: “I do think that good food and good baking comes from the heart – and I’ve got a lot of heart.”
And while her biscuit challenge was a disaster, Alison proved she knows her way around the kitchen with the chocolate brownies she presented to judges Paul Hollywood and Dame Prue Leith.
She told them: “I love chocolate brownies. Any time I go out and about, try a brownie, it never compares to my brownies. I know that sounds really big headed…
“Oh my god, this is just going so well. Things are just running so smooth for me, this is actually boring TV. I’m literally a natural baker – and a natural eater as well.”
Prue recently admitted she is “really sad” to see Matt say goodbye to the show because she loved his presenting partnership with Noel Fielding, but can understand why he wanted to move on.
She said: “I’m really sad because I love the guy. He’s such fun and he got on so well with Noel [Fielding].
“They were just brilliant. But I do understand why.
“If [you’re] close to Matt, you do know that he never stops working and he has so many projects and people keep asking him to do things and he loves theatre… he absolutely loves that kind of show.
“And you can’t commit to it if you’re on ‘Bake Off’, because we film that all summer. So I think he thought three years is enough. But I think he loved it and we’re really sorry.”

Barry Keoghan set to star in Gladiator 2

OHMYGOSSIP — Barry Keoghan is in talks to star in ‘Gladiator 2’.
The ‘Banshees of Inisherin’ is set to sign up to join Paul Mescal in Sir Ridley Scott’s as-yet untitled sequel, where he will portray a character named Emperor Gata, sources told The Hollywood Reporter.
Specific details about the flick remain a closely-guarded secret but it has been confirmed that Paul will take on the role of Lucius – the son of Connie Nielsen’s character Lucilla and Joaquin Phoenix’s Commodus from the original film.
Russell Crowe has ruled out returning as Maximus Decimus Meridius in the project – which is due to be released in 2024 with Scott returning as director – and explained that it won’t be a “direct sequel” to the Oscar-winning original.
The 58-year-old star said: “Yeah we’ve had dinner and talked about it and all that stuff. So I know roughly how he’s shaping the story.
“But yeah, if you remember, there was a young kid who wanted to beat the Gladiator, which leads to the ‘My name is’ speech. So that young kid has grown up, and he’s now the Emperor.
“I don’t know what else happens at that point, so that’s the idea. So it’s not a remake. And it’s not a direct sequel. It’s not like the day after, you know, 30 years later or something.”
‘Aftersun’ actor Paul revealed last month that the movie is scheduled to start shooting this summer.
Asked when he’d start work on the film, he said: “In the summer. I’m not sure when the exact start date is but soon.”
It was previously reported that the movie had been delayed due to Paul’s theatre commitments as he is currently playing Stan Kowalski in ‘A Streetcar Named Desire’ on London’s West End.

Ben Affleck agreed to cast Viola Davis in Air after golf course chat with Michael Jordan

OHMYGOSSIP — Ben Affleck agreed to cast Viola Davis in ‘Air’ after a chat with Michael Jordan at a golf course.
The ‘Argo’ star directs the new movie about Jordan’s hugely successful partnership with sportswear giant Nike – and Ben has admitted he wanted to talk to his pal about the film before bringing the Air Jordan story to the big screen so he caught up with him after playing a few rounds.
Affleck told The Hollywood Reporter: “I periodically play cards sometimes with Michael, and we’ve got mutual friends … I said: ‘Please, can I come out [and talk to you]?’. And he was great. ‘Yeah, no problem. Come to the golf course.’ Went out, met with him. I waited for him to finish playing. I don’t golf myself. Because I just feel like it eats people’s lives up … I waited.”
Affleck went on to explain why he needed to speak to Jordan about the film, saying: “I have to be very clear, this is not the authorised Michael Jordan story. He was not compensated in a way that would be appropriate if this were that.
“If you’re going to do a Michael Jordan story, they should back the f******* truck up. This was me saying, “Mike, I’m not going to make the movie if you’re not cool with something about it. I just won’t do it. I want to know what’s important to you’.”
Affleck revealed Jordan was incredibly helpful and actually had a very clear vision about who he wanted to play his mum in the movie: “Without going into any more detail, he actually talked about his mom, who wasn’t really in the script. That’s when I understood what the movie was. Talking to him about his mom was incredibly moving, and I realised: ‘Oh, this isn’t about Nike’.
“I said: ‘So, do you have any ideas about who would …?’ … I knew who he was going to say because it was the same person that I’ve wanted to direct for so long … [Jordan] looked at me real straight and – by the way, there’s one line for the mother character in the movie at this point – and I’m thinking: ‘Oh my God, he wants me to offer this to Viola Davis. How am I going to offer Viola Davis a movie with one line? That’s not going to happen.’
“But he was like: ‘That’s my mom’. He was dead serious. ‘Viola Davis, that’s my mom.’ And that was it. Discussion was over. However it happened, it wasn’t his problem, but it was going to f****** happen. And I was like: ‘OK, Mike’.”
‘Air’ stars Matt Damon, Chris Tucker, Jason Bateman with Viola Davis as Deloris Jordan while Affleck also has a role playing Nike boss Phil Knight.

Pasty Kensit: Why EastEnders was a dream come true

OHMYGOSSIP — Patsy Kensit “lived vicariously” through her ‘EastEnders’ character.
The 55-year-old actress was cast as Emma Harding – who is the long-lost mother of brain tumour sufferer Lola Pearce-Brown – in the long-running BBC soap opera for a short stint earlier this year and explained that the genre creates such “great roles” for women, as she remembered being influenced by legendary soap matriarchs like Pat Phoenix and Barbara Windsor.
Speaking on ITV’s ‘Good Morning Britain’, she said: “I think on soaps, they write such great roles for women of a certain age. I go back to people like Pat Phoenix in ‘Coronation Street’, who people may not remember because that is a long, long time ago. But obviously, yes, Barbara Windsor, June Brown, they made such an impact on me with the great one-liners they had.
“When you get to play a role like that, it’s so delicious because you get to say all these things you would never say to anyone in real life – or at least I wouldn’t! And you kind of live vicariously through them. So my character came in a bit damaged and fragile, she was trying to get close to her daughter in an awkward and quick way. But she is quite controlling, she causes trouble, she’s got a temper. I’ve had a couple of great put-downs that I’ve had to do with the lovely Emma Barton (Honey Mitchell) and of course, I got to work with Danielle Harold, who plays Lola. She is absolutely one of the best actresses I’ve ever worked with, she is incredible. She is just killing it.”
The former pop star went on to add that she has the “greatest respect” for writers of the genre and noted that being cast in the soap opera – which has been on screen since 1985 – was a “dream come true” because she is a “superfan” of the programme herself.
She added: I have the greatest respect for the actors, the crew, and the writers on soaps because they are at the top of their game. Years ago, soaps were looked at as an actors’ graveyard, a long time ago.
“But this is our drama on telly now. We have other one-off things but people really invest in these shows. I’ve been a superfan of ‘EastEnders’ for so many years and my first week I was terrified! The pace is hard. It’s freezing cold in Walford, it has its own temperature, when you drive in you see the temperature drop by several degrees and then it goes back up when you drive out.
“I only finished shooting three or four weeks ago. I was only ever asked to come in for two blocks of shooting. I had a blast on the show, Danielle is incredible. Jamie Borthwick, who plays her husband, we had a lot of scenes him and I arguing but he is the funniest guy. I made some really good friends there, the character is great and I’m just stoked that I got to be on ‘EastEnders’. It was a dream come true!”

Jennifer Saunders ‘dreading’ Fawlty Towers reboot

OHMYGOSSIP — Jennifer Saunders is “slightly dreading” the ‘Fawlty Towers’ revival.
The 64-year-old comedienne heard the news that the iconic 1970s sitcom – which saw John Cleese write and star as hotel owner Basil Fawlty- is set to return to screens but”doesn’t understand” the need to bring it back it in the first place.
Asked about her reaction to the revival, she told Metro Sixty Seconds’ column, she said: “Slight dread, I have to say. I just thought, why? Why don’t you write a new thing? I don’t understand why you have to do that. You can’t beat the old one!”
The ‘Allelujah’ actress is known for creating hit sitcom ‘Absolutely Fabulous’ – in which she played hapless PR guru Edina Monsoon alongside Joanna Lumley as boozy fashion magazine editor Patsy Stone – but firmly quashed the notion of a revival even though the series enjoyed a sporadic run of episodes from 1992 until 2012 and even spawned a cinematic film.
She said: “I’m now saying ‘no’. Because that’s my new word. My word du jour.”
Jennifer is also known as part of the French and Saunders double act alongside ‘Vicar of Dibley’ star Dawn French and reflected that they have been able to stick together for more than 40 years because they have never had a big argument.
She said: “Being very passive. Total passivity. A lot of people do that. It’s just more unusual probably in the showbusiness sense for double acts to keep going. I heard Robert Webb doing his ‘Desert Island Discs’ and he said that he and David [Mitchell] stay together because they’ve never had The Argument. The thing is to avoid The Big Argument. Compromise is a marvellous thing”.

Greg Davies has been told to lose weight by his doctor

OHMYGOSSIP — Greg Davies has been “seriously” warned by his doctor to lose weight.
The 54-year-old actor – who will be back on screens as professional crime-scene cleaner Paul `Wicky’ Wickstead in ‘The Cleaner’ when the sitcom returns for its second series next Friday (24.03.23) – admitted that his size is an easy way to mine on-stage material but has been advised to get into shape by medical professionals.
He told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Although I’ve had rich pickings from turning the gun on myself and my instinct is to try and get laughs wherever possible, it’s not a reason to stay as I am physically. And I’ve been told very seriously by my doctor that something bad will happen if I don’t address that side of things.”
Greg recently admitted that making the BBC One sitcom about a crime scene cleaner involved a lot of mischief that might reflect “badly” on him like dousing the ex ‘My Family’ star Zoe Wanamaker with water.
He said: “I’m sure that it reflects very badly on me on so many levels that chucking a bucket of water in Zoë Wanamaker’s face is right up there. “She really didn’t seem to mind though.”
The ‘Taskmaster’ star also loved working a whole host of other stars like Simon Callow and Dame Harriet Walter.
Greg: “I enjoyed making Asim Chaudhry wear a greasy wig and chase me with a gun, having a fight with John Macmillan’s clown, having Simon Callow quote poetry at me and being pinned to the floor by a giant man whilst Dame Harriet Walter watched on.
“And I enjoyed talking to Alex Lawther via a fox and friend Roisin Conaty attempting to murder me whilst having my faith challenged by Mark Lewis Jones.”
When the show – which is based on a German comedy – was picked ipa gain, Greg gushed about how “thrilled” he was.
He said: “I’m so thrilled that Wicky is back for another round of clean ups and delighted that he is doing so on BBC One.
“The cast for this season are brilliant and that there are so many distinguished actors amongst them leads me to believe that The BBC have secrets that they are using as leverage.
“Me, the writing and production teams are very grateful for this support.”

‘It was a horrendous tragedy!’ Corrie star Simon Gregson reveals who has been haunting his house

OHMYGOSSIP — Simon Gregson’s house was haunted by Victorian murder victims.
The 48-year-old actor – who has played taxi driver Steve McDonald in ITV1 soap opera ‘Coronation Street’ since 1989 – lives in Cheshire with his wife Emma Gleave and recalled spotting a “lady in white” walk across his landing in 2011 before discovering the “tragic” story from 1893.
He told The Daily Mirror newspaper: “It was a Saturday night and my wife Emma was out, but I heard somebody walk around at 1am. I thought Emma had come home but I called out and there was no answer. I rang her and she said, ‘I’m still out, don’t tell me you’ve seen a woman walking across the landing… I saw her last night. ”
The soap star – who has sons Alfie, 15, Harry, 13, and seven-year-old Henry with Emma – went on to add that his eldest had begun to see the same ghost as well as the spirits of another woman and a man and after calling in the paranormal experts from Discovery+ show ‘Celebrity Help! My House Is Haunted’, was shocked to discover that the Wilmslow Tragedy had occurred so close to his house, which saw a young woman named Sara-Ann murdered in her sleep by her stepfather William Worth for having a baby out of wedlock, just moments after he had mistakenly killed his wife Susanna, who had been lying next to her.
Months earlier, Simon had downloaded a spirit box app onto his phone in the hopes of detecting a ghost and in an eery coincidence, was presented with the name Sara.
He said: “One day, he came downstairs, saying he saw a woman with a book staring out of the window. After that, things escalated for him. He’d seen a male head pop round the door.
“A name came up as one of the answers and it was Sara. We didn’t hear that name again until the crew came round to the house and told us about Sarah-Ann. The spirit box also said the phrase ‘enchanted bed’, and she was killed in the bed. It was a horrendous tragedy, we just thought it was such an awful, sad story.
“It was interesting the ghosts wore white nightgowns. It tied in with what the experts found out about the history of the area and was backed up by a newspaper article from the time.”
Ever since cracking the mystery surrounding the ghosts, the former ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!’ contestant explained that the spirts appear to have “moved on” but noted that the house felt “empty” without them at first.
He said: “Alfie still sees things out of the corner of his eye so maybe there’s something residual knocking about. But the rest of us have not seen anything. The weird thing was, at first the house felt a bit empty. But I’m glad they have moved on. Things don’t go missing so much.”

Jennifer Lopez starring in Unstoppable

OHMYGOSSIP — Jennifer Lopez has been cast in ‘Unstoppable’.
The 53-year-old star is set to feature in the new sports drama that will be produced by her husband Ben Affleck.
The movie will tell the true story of Anthony Robles, a three-time All-American athlete born with one leg who won a national championship at Arizona State University.
Ben’s production company Artists Equity, which he co-founded with close friend Matt Damon, will produce ‘Unstoppable’. William Goldberg – who has edited a number of movies for Affleck – is set to make his debut as a director on the film.
Additional casting for the project is yet to be announced.
‘Unstoppable’ is the first collaboration between Jennifer and Ben following their wedding last year but she has made an impact on his movie ‘Air’ – which chronicles Nike’s relationship with basketball icon Michael Jordan.
‘The Tender Bar’ star told The Hollywood Reporter: “I started writing and working with Matt, and Jen gave me some great lines too.
“Oh my God, she’s brilliant. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the way fashion evolves through the culture as a confluence of music, sports, entertainment and dance.
