Margot Robbie feared Barbie movie ‘would never get made’

OHMYGOSSIP — Margot Robbie feared her Barbie movie would never make it to the big screen.
‘The Wolf Of Wall Street’ actress plays the beloved children’s doll in a new live action movie co-written and directed by Greta Gerwig and Margot has now revealed she took one look at the script and became convinced the film would never get made – and she was genuinely surprised when the project was given the green light.
In an interview with BAFTA, Margot explained: “The first time I read the ‘Barbie’ script, my reaction was, ‘Ah! This is so good. What a shame it will never see the light of day because they are never going to let us make this movie’. But they did.”
The film stars Margot as Barbie and Ryan Gosling as Ken and shows the two characters traveling from Barbieland to the real world, but any further details about the plot have been kept firmly under wraps.
Gerwig recently opened up about the project during an appearance on Dua Lipa’s At Your Service’ podcast and admitted she was worried ‘Barbie’ could be a “career-ending” movie.
She said: “Like, where do you even begin? What would be the story? I think it was that feeling I had that it would be really interesting terror. Usually, that’s where the best stuff is. When you’re like: ‘I am terrified of that’. Anything where you’re like: ‘This could be a career-ender,’ then you’re like, ‘OK, I probably should do it’.”
Gerwig co-authored the script with Noah Baumbach and she realised how much she wanted to direct ‘Barbie’ herself during a conversation with her co-writer. She explained: “Initially, I didn’t know I was going to direct it. And then it was at a certain point while we were writing it that I realised I really wanted to direct it because I thought it was so great. I think the moment I knew I wanted to direct it was when Noah said to me: ‘Are you sure you want to direct this?’ And I was like: ‘Oh, are you interested in directing it? No, no, this one’s mine’.”
‘Barbie’ hits cinemas on July 21.

I’d love to direct a Star Wars movie, says Andy Serkis

OHMYGOSSIP — Andy Serkis wants to direct a ‘Star Wars’ movie.
The 58-year-old actor has revealed that he’d love to direct a ‘Star Wars’ film, admitting that the franchise “holds a huge fascination” for him.
Asked about the possibility of helming a ‘Star Wars’ movie, Andy told Screen Rant: “I would love to. I really would, genuinely.
“I think that this universe holds a huge fascination for me. I think I am one of the rare actors who’s had the opportunity to play two characters in it. But I would love to.”
Andy played Supreme Leader Snoke in the ‘Star Wars’ sequel trilogy, and Kino Loy in ‘Andor’, the ‘Star Wars’ Disney+ series.
Andy previously revealed that he’d love to direct an episode of ‘Andor’.
The veteran actor admitted he was open to the idea – even though he hadn’t discussed it with Disney.
Asked about the possibility of directing an episode, Andy told Collider: “Oh wow, I hadn’t thought of that.
“I mean, the thing is, yeah, that would be an amazing thing.
“I don’t know what the future holds for Kino Loy. Who knows? He might be stuck on that ship, or whatever, I don’t know. But let’s see. I haven’t had any discussions yet. But I don’t know, we’ll have to see what everybody thinks of it and the outcome.
“Look, even if Kino Loy goes no further, the short answer to your question is yeah, that would be a thrilling thing to do, to be part of the other side of it, on the other side of the camera for this world would be amazing.”

I want to make a reality TV show, says Amanda Holden

OHMYGOSSIP — Amanda Holden wants to make a Kardashian-style TV show.
The 52-year-old star has revealed that she’d love to make her own version of ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ – but her husband, Chris Hughes, isn’t keen on the idea.
Amanda told OK! magazine: “I would do it. Chris wouldn’t. I’ve said, ‘Right, if they offered us millions to be the new Kardashians, would you do it?’ And he goes, ‘No’. It’s a shame. I always think we would be quite fun.”
Despite this, Amanda and Chris are “happier than ever”.
The blonde beauty explained: “We’re not particularly romantic, but we are always present for each other. Chris is my backbone. He’s just the one.”
Amanda has developed a big following on social media over recent years.
And the TV star loves being open and honest with her followers on social platforms.
Amanda – who has almost two million followers on Instagram – explained: “I enjoy it because I’m myself on there. Being normal, that’s what people want now. Of course they want the glitz and the glam, but they mostly want to know about kids and cooking. My DMs are so nice.”
Amanda likes to post steamy shots of herself on Instagram.
But the ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ star insists she does’t have any problems with her followers.
Asked if she receives any inappropriate comments, Amanda explained: “What, naughty men? No. I think they know better. I’d expose them – literally. I’d be like, ‘OK, you want to play that game do you? Let the whole world see.’ I’ve said that so many times before they’re probably quivering in their pants.”

Millie Court and Liam Reardon ‘rekindle their romance’

OHMYGOSSIP — Millie Court and Liam Reardon have reportedly rekindled their romance.
The 26-year-old beauty and Liam, 23, have decided to give their relationship another try, nine months after they split.
A source told MailOnline: “Millie and Liam have been talking again, but it’s early days for them.
“They weren’t expecting to get back together after their break-up was so painful for them both, but months have passed, and they still couldn’t stop thinking about each other.
“Coming out of ‘Love Island’ was a whirlwind and now they’re just looking to take things slowly and see if they can rebuild their relationship, which may take some time.”
Earlier this month, Millie confirmed that she was dating once again.
The former ‘Love Island’ star revealed the news during a YouTube video.
She said: “There have been a lot of rumours and a lot in the press. I am going to confirm that I am dating someone.
“But I’m not ready to tell you guys, yet. I love you guys, and I love your support. But it’s early doors, and you experienced a whole full-blown meeting someone, relationship on TV, the whole thing, and then everything afterwards.”
Millie also admitted that her relationship with Liam suffered because of outside influences.
She shared: “That was the best experience ever of my life, genuinely. But it is a lot when you have all eyes on you and everything in your relationship.
“I struggled with that a lot because it just wasn’t nice.
“I don’t really want people to be involved in my personal relationship – it ruined things.
“That was a big part why my last relationship ended.”

Adrien Brody cast in The Brutalist

OHMYGOSSIP — Adrien Brody is to lead the cast of ‘The Brutalist’.
The 49-year-old actor is to star in the new drama movie from director Brady Corbet and will be joined in an all-star cast by Felicity Jones, Joe Alwyn and Guy Pearce.
Alessandro Nivola, Raffey Cassidy, Isaach De Bankole, Stacy Martin, Jonathan Hyde and Peter Polycarpou are also set to feature.
‘The Brutalist’ follows architect Laszlo Toth (Brody) and his wife Erzsebet (Jones) as they flee post-war Europe and begin a new life in America. However, a mysteriously wealthy client (Pearce) interrupts their plans.
The movie captures 30 years of Laszlo Toth’s life and charts an epic saga that takes Laszlo and Erzsebet to monumental heights and devastating lows.
Corbet has written the script for the film with his partner Mona Fastvold and principal photography on the project has commenced in Hungary.
‘The Brutalist’ was first announced in 2020 and the original cast included Joel Edgerton, Marion Cotillard, Sir Mark Rylance and Vanessa Kirby.
Lead stars Brody and Jones have taken over their roles from Edgerton and Cotillard respectively.
Corbet said when the movie was announced: “Amidst a revamped cycle of populism and prejudice in the 21st century, ‘The Brutalist’ is a film which celebrates the triumphs of the most daring and accomplished visionaries; our ancestors.
“It is the project which is so far the closest to my heart and family history. I so look forward to reuniting with many of our closest collaborators, as well as some exciting new ones, to realise what we all anticipate to be a vital and urgent motion picture.”

Sebastian Stan and Maria Bakalova to feature in spy comedy

OHMYGOSSIP — Sebastian Stan and Maria Bakalova are to star in a new spy comedy.
The pair are attached to feature in the untitled movie that is in the very early stages of development at Paramount.
Jenny Bicks is set to write the script for the film, which is said to involve a failed double agent who becomes an unlikely success and is based on an original pitch.
Paul Feig is looking to direct the flick and will produce alongside Stan, Laura Allen Fischer and Emily Gerson Saines.
Maria shot to fame after starring in ‘Borat Subsequent Moviefilm’ as Tutar Sagdiyev – the daughter of Sacha Baron Cohen’s titular alter ego – and explained that she has had to be more measured in the way that she behaves as she is now in the spotlight.
The 26-year-old actress told the Daily Mail newspaper: “Usually, everything that goes on in my head comes straight out of my mouth – which isn’t always a good thing.
“But you have to take responsibility for your words.”
Maria voices Cosmo the Spacedog in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) blockbuster ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ and is willing to spend the rest of her career working with director James Gunn.
The Bulgarian star told Discussing Film: “I love James Gunn, I want to work with him for the rest of my life! He’s just everything.
“I don’t even know how to say it, he’s so talented. He’s so funny. He’s so fun. He’s such a great human being. What an example of a person that I’d want to be like. His dedication to his craft is admirable as well. It’s just phenomenal.
“I’ve been very lucky to meet him and to have a chance to work with him. I want to do it again and again.”

Christine McGuinness doesn’t want autism to hinder her life

OHMYGOSSIP — Christine McGuinness doesn’t want autism to “hold [her] back”.
The 35-year-old star still isn’t “completely comfortable” with herself after being diagnosed with the condition – which can lead to sensory issues and discomfort in social settings – but Christine won’t let it stop her from living her life.
She told OK! Magazine: “I understand myself a lot more and feel more comfortable.
“I’m not completely comfortable in my own skin yet, but I’m getting there.
“If I go to a restaurant, I’m not afraid to ask for my food to be a little bit plainer, while before I used to feel awkward and difficult about it. Now I’ll just say [what I want] because I want to be able to socialise and eat with everybody – I don’t want autism to hold me back.”
Despite this, Christine feels very comfortable talking about the issue.
She said: “When I’m talking about autism it’s almost well-rehearsed now because I’ve done it so many times, and it’s my most comfortable topic. I struggle more in a normal social setting where there is a group of girls just catching up about their day and work and life. That’s where I’d be feeling uncomfortable and sit quiet, not sure what to say. I think what most people find OK is what I struggle with.”
The model finalised her divorce from Paddy McGuinness last year.
But Christine has continued to live with her ex-husband and she’s not sure when the situation will change.
The blonde beauty – who has Felicity, seven, and nine-year-old twins Penelope and Leo with Paddy – said: “It works right now because we’re both so busy and we’re in and out of the home so we tend to swap days and we’ll share.
“It’s much like any parent really – juggling jobs and children. We definitely don’t want to upset them or change anything too quickly, and for me as well.
“I like slow changes, and we’re alright – we’re family. I’ve known Paddy for 15 years, so I don’t know life without him. It is what it is.”

Bruno Tonioli wants to play a Bond villain

OHMYGOSSIP — Bruno Tonioli wants to play a Bond villain.
The 67-year-old TV star has revealed that his dream role would be to play a baddie in a 007 action flick.
Speaking about his love of movies, Bruno told the Radio Times magazine: “I met Liza Minnelli and it blew my mind … Actually, I’d like to play a Bond villain. Or a mafioso. Or a baddie in a Guy Ritchie movie. Something completely against type. That would be so much fun!”
Bruno has replaced David Walliams on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’, and he’s been forced to learn on his feet since he joined the show’s judging panel.
He said: “The energy comes automatically during filming, but then I’m dead, absolutely dead.
“I lost my voice at the end of the first day on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ because I didn’t pace myself. I didn’t know that auditions can run for two or three hours. At least I’m a quick learner.”
Meanwhile, Bruno recently confessed that he forget the advice of his colleagues and hit the Golden Buzzer “at the wrong time” during the audition stage.
He shared: “I told Simon [Cowell], I never watched the show before. But I never watch anything I’m in, I never even watched ‘Strictly’ or ‘Dancing With the Stars’.
“I want to feel free to give it my own personal spin, not copy what someone before me has done, if that makes sense.
“They were like, ‘here are the rules, you press it then, not then’, but that went out the window, I honestly got caught up in the moment, forgot everything I’d been told and just reacted instinctively.
“I looked up, Simon was in stitches, Alesha [Dixon] looked shocked! But that really happened. I mean, it wasn’t planned. I honestly had no idea I’d do that in the moment.
“Anyway, Simon tells the crowd there’s no rules, to forget what they’ve been told and act badly behaved, so I listened! Come on, he’s the boss!”

Ross Kemp was near death after passing out during dive

OHMYGOSSIP — Ross Kemp narrowly cheated death after passing out during an underwater dive while filming his new TV show.
The former ‘EastEnders’ star returns to the small screen on Monday (10.04.23) with his new adventure show ‘Ross Kemp: Deep Sea Treasure Hunter’ in which he explores shipwrecks around the UK – but Ross has revealed one of his dives almost ended in disaster when he passed out under the waves while filming in the Plymouth Sound.
He told The Mirror newspaper: “Diving may appear very easy, but it isn’t. It’s extremely technical. If it goes wrong, it can go seriously wrong.”
Ross explained he lost consciousness due to a “hypocapnia hit” in which a diver accidentally inhales too much carbon dioxide and he said he forgot where he was and became convinced he was in his garden instead of under the water.
He went on: “It was a little bit of a spark and then I just blacked out. I thought removing the pipes was like trying to rock a tree stump out of my back garden.
“But the amount of C02 which was seeping into my system was basically clouding my judgement, and I forgot completely that I was actually not in my backyard – I was in the middle of Plymouth Sound.”
Ross added of the scary moment: “Literally, the black-out was for half a second. But that was enough for my lungs to feel as if they were on fire … ”
He said the seriousness of the situation didn’t hit him until much later when he was recovering in his hotel room, with the star musing: “I was still a little bit strange when I went back and lay on the bed in the hotel room. I made sure I didn’t fall asleep for five hours. I was just looking at the ceiling of the Novotel thinking, “That was f****** close!”
‘Ross Kemp: Deep Sea Treasure Hunter’ airs on Sky History on Monday (10.04.23) at 9pm.

Indiana Jones franchise to end after fifth movie

OHMYGOSSIP — The ‘Indiana Jones’ franchise is to end for good following the release of the fifth and final movie.
Harrison Ford first picked up his whip to play the adventurous archeologist in 1981 blockbuster ‘Raiders of the Lost Ark’ and he returned for two more sequels ‘Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom’ in 1984 and ‘Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade’ in 1989 then there was a break of nearly 20 years before he came back for 2008’s ‘Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull’.
The fifth movie ‘Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny’ is due for release in June and now bosses at Disney – who acquired the rights with the purchase of Lucasfilm – have confirmed Indy won’t be back for any more adventures.
In a press release issued to confirm details of the new film, the ‘ Dial of Destiny’ is described as “the highly anticipated final installment of the beloved franchise”.
Director James Mangold added: “My legendary collaborators and I are very excited to share a brand new and final Indiana Jones adventure with you!”
There had been speculation the movies could continue without 80-year-old lead actor Ford – with any future films possibly being focused around the character of Helena Shaw – Indy’s goddaughter – who is played by Phoebe Waller-Bridge in the new movie.
However, the latest update appears to confirm there will be no more Indiana Jones films in the pipeline.
Reports also suggested there may have been plans to bring an ‘Indiana Jones’ spin-off TV series to the Disney Plus streaming service but the plans is believed to have been shelved.
‘Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny’ hits cinemas on June 30.

James Gunn confirms talks for a DC/Marvel crossover

OHMYGOSSIP — James Gunn says a DC/Marvel crossover is “more likely” now he’s the co-head of DC Studios.
The filmmaker and studio executive co-wrote and directed the Marvel Studios adaptation of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ and he’s now in charge at the rival firm with Peter Safran, and he’s confirmed there have been talks of a crossover but it’s a long way off from happening.
Gunn told Empire magazine: “I’m certain that’s more likely now that I’m in charge [at DC].
“Who knows?”
He added: “That’s many years away, though. I think we have to establish what we’re doing [at DC] first. I would be lying to say that we haven’t discussed it. But all discussions have been very, very light and fun.”
In the past, there’s been crossovers with the comics ‘JLA/Avengers’, and the tales ‘Batman/Daredevil: King of New York’ and ‘Green Lantern/Silver Surfer: Unholy Alliances’.
However, it’s been years since the two superhero universes have collided.
Gunn’s final Marvel commitment, ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. III’, is heading to cinemas on May 5.
Meanwhile, Gunn is set to direct ‘Superman: Legacy’.
The news came after it was previously announced he would write the script for the upcoming project focused on a younger version of Clark Kent.
Discussing the news on Twitter, Gunn wrote last month: “Yes, I’m directing Superman: Legacy to be released on July 11, 2025.
“My brother Matt told me when he saw the release date he started to cry. I asked him why. He said, ‘Dude, it’s Dad’s birthday.’ I hadn’t realized.
“I lost my Dad almost three years ago. He was my best friend.
“He didn’t understand me as a kid, but he supported my love of comics and my love of film and I wouldn’t be making this movie now without him.”

Love Island’s Shaughna Phillips gives birth to baby girl

OHMYGOSSIP — Shaughna Phillips has given birth.
The former ‘Love Island’ star – who took part in the sixth series of the hit ITV2 reality dating show – welcomed a baby daughter named Lucia into the world with her property developer boyfriend, Billy, on Tuesday (04.04.23) evening, weighing a healthy 8lb 8oz.
She gushed on Instagram alongside a snap of her holding the newborn in her hospital bed and another of her little bundle fast asleep: “My darling Lucia, I wish I had you sooner so I could love you longer.”
The 28-year-old reality star previously insisted the name wasn’t sentimental.
She told her followers on the app: “We’re keeping the girl’s name a secret but it’s not a sentimental name, just a name we both love.”
The ‘Real Full Monty’ star “had no idea” she was pregnant but got advice to take a test from her eyelash technician after she fell asleep in her chair.
Shaughna told OK!: “I had no idea. My only symptom was tiredness. I went for an eyelash appointment and I was falling asleep. The lady said I could be pregnant because she told me tiredness was the only symptom she had when she was pregnant. So I went home and ordered myself some pregnancy tests.”
Despite wanting a girl, Shaughna was convinced she was having a boy based on the shape of her bump.
She wrote in her column for the magazine: “I feel like it’s a boy now. I’m not entirely sure why. At the start of my pregnancy journey, I really wanted a girl – but I’m okay with having a baby boy.
I’ve seen loads of articles on how the shape of your bump can give you insight into what the gender of your baby could be, but then other places say it’s a myth. One of my friends, who has two boys, said her pregnancies were so different and she was convinced she was having a girl the second time around. Then it turned out to be a boy, which made no sense because the pregnancies were polar opposites.
“While at first I really wanted a girl, now I feel as though the gender is kind of irrelevant because I’ll be happy with either. At the end of the day, I’m going to love them no matter what.”

John Leguizamo rages at The Super Mario Bros. Movie casting

OHMYGOSSIP — John Leguizamo will not be watching ‘The Super Mario Bros. Movie’.
The 62-year-old actor played Luigi in the panned 1993 live-action film ‘Super Mario Bros.’ and revealed that he has no plans to see the new animated flick due to a lack of “inclusion” in the casting.
Chris Pratt and Charlie Day star as Mario and Luigi respectively but the decision not to put Latin actors in the roles has been criticised by Leguizamo.
Asked if he plans to see the movie, the Colombian-born actor told TMZ: “Hell no! No I will not (be watching). They could’ve included a Latin character.
“Like I was groundbreaking and then they stopped the groundbreaking. They messed up the inclusion. They dis-included. Just cast some Latin folk! We’re 20 per cent of the population. The largest people of colour group and we are underrepresented.”
It is not the first time that John has criticised the movie as he described it as a “backwards” step to have two white actors voicing Mario and Luigi last year.
The ‘Carlito’s Way’ star told IndieWire: “I’m O.G. A lot of people love the original.
“I did Comic-Con in New York and in Baltimore, and everyone’s like, ‘No, no, we love the old one, the original.’ They’s not feeling the new one. I’m not bitter. It’s unfortunate.
“The directors Annabel Jankel and Rocky Morton fought really hard for me to be the lead because I was a Latin man, and they (the studio) didn’t want me to be the lead.
“They fought really hard, and it was such a breakthrough. For them to go backwards and not cast another (actor of colour) kind of sucks.”

Domhnall Gleeson joins Echo Valley cast

OHMYGOSSIP — Domhnall Gleeson has been cast in ‘Echo Valley’.
The 39-year-old actor is to star alongside Julianne Moore and Sydney Sweeney in the Apple Original Films project that is being directed by BAFTA-winning filmmaker Michael Pearce.
Brad Ingelsby has written the screenplay and will produce the movie with Sir Ridley Scott, Michael Pruss and Kevin Walsh.
Moore will play Kate Garretson, who spends her days training horses at the secluded Echo Valley Farm in Pennsylvania as she reels from a personal tragedy.
Late one night, her wayward daughter Claire (Sweeney) turns up at her doorstep, frightened and covered in someone else’s blood.
Gleeson has been cast as a local criminal who forces himself into Kate’s life and disturbs her tranquil existence by spilling secrets about her family.
The Irish actor previously featured in the ‘Star Wars’ sequel trilogy as the antagonist General Hux and says that being involved in the iconic sci-fi franchise was a “ridiculous privilege”.
Speaking at the premiere of ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’ in 2019, Domhnall said: “It’s a ridiculous privilege to be a part of something that means something to so many people. I think you want to try and do that all the time, and it doesn’t work out nearly all the time, and when it does, it feels really special.”
Domhnall was a fan of ‘Star Wars’ before taking the part but explained that acting in the films and seeing the premieres on a “big screen” was a “bigger deal” for him than the first time he had experienced the franchise.
When asked if he was a fan growing up, the ‘Harry Potter’ actor said: “Yeah. I’d seen them all, but honestly what changed it for me was seeing it on a big screen. So that was kind of … that was a bigger deal for me than the first time around.”

Shirley Ballas in negotiations for Strictly Come Dancing return

OHMYGOSSIP — Shirley Ballas has revealed her team is in negotiations with the BBC for her to return as head judge on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ after it was rumoured she’s stepping down.
The 62-year-old former Latin champion – who took over from Len Goodman in 2017 – has broken her silence after she sparked speculation she’s leaving the show because she’s sick of being trolled.
Appearing on ITV’s ‘The Jonathan Ross Show’ this weekend, she says: “Well… I do believe it’s in the process. Is that the right way to say it? Yes.. their people are talking to my people.”
Shirley reached an “all-time low” last year because the online abuse she received over her decisions on the programme left her “crying and emotional”, and she has yet to sign a contract to return to the celebrity Latin and ballroom contest.
She told the Sunday Mirror newspaper last month: “Last year I was struggling. It wasn’t just a little bit, it was a lot – the majority of it was in silence.
“I felt the abuse snowballed out of control and impacted me in such a negative way. I’m a pretty stoic person, and I tend to hold everything in.
“When it all kicked off, it seemed like it was larger than anything else.
“I was crying, I was emotional, but I was embarrassed about being so emotional. I didn’t want to talk to anybody about it.
“And that was an all-time low since I joined the show – it was the most negativity I’d ever experienced. The BBC were brilliant, checking in on me and offering counselling and support.”
Asked if she has considered quitting the show, she replied: “It was a difficult series, I’ll leave it at that.
“After the ‘Strictly’ tour I decided to take a break from TV and re-focus on my own industry for a while, to protect my sanity. I’m fortunate I have two jobs, running parallel, so it was much easier to take a break from TV and look after myself and my well-being.
“Will I go back to ‘Strictly’? I always take one step at a time.
“I absolutely love the job. If it was just that, and there was nothing else surrounding it, I can’t think of a more rewarding job to do.”
With one in five messages Shirley received last year being hate-filled, the dance expert vowed to put measures in place to shield her from the cruel comments if she does return to the programme.
She said: “If I am back on ‘Strictly’ this year, I am going to have someone filtering my social media, so I don’t see every comment. I will also try not to take things so personally as I’ve realised that I’m not alone when it comes to online trolling. I’ll say to myself, ‘Come on Shirley, you’re not the only one’.
“As they say, if the kitchen’s too hot, get out. But if it’s not, tie on the apron, do up your hair and get on with it.”
And Shirley seemingly ruled out crossing the pond to judge ‘Dancing with the Stars’, on which her son Mark Ballas is one of the professional dancers.
Asked if she could find a role on the US show, she said: “Who knows what the future holds?
“My beautiful son Mark was crowned winner of the last series with his partner Charlie D’Amelio and I have trained many of the pro dancers.
“But my heart and loyalty lie with the BBC, for sure. They gave me my TV break and have always been there for me.”
‘The Jonathan Ross Show’ airs on Saturday (08.04.23) from 9.50pm on ITV1 and ITVX.

Beyond Paradise season two script already in the works

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Beyond Paradise’ looks set to return for a second series.
Although another season of the ‘Death in Paradise’ spin-off hasn’t been greenlit yet by the BBC yet, showrunner Tony Ward is already penning the script.
Speaking to Express.co.uk, producer Tim Key said: “Absolutely, we will run and run and run.
“As long as the audience love it and we love making it.
“Tony is literally writing, he’s broken away from writing series two.
“It hasn’t been greenlit but the minute that it is, we are ready, we are poised.”
The crime drama follows Kris Marshall’s character DI Humphrey Goodman and is set in the fictional town of Shipton Abbott near the Devon coast.
Tony teased: “So we have got loads of stories to tell, we have got six episodes mapped out for season two already.
“The cast are really keen to get going again so our dream scenario will be we keep going, definitely.”
Sally Bretton plays his partner Martha Lloyd and the pair moved from the Caribbean to the South West of England.
Reflecting on the change of scenery, the actor previously told the Metro: “The puzzles are very ‘south-westerly.’ The crimes are uniquely of that area. The first episode has this haunted puzzle.
“We’ve got a family that just disappears off the face of the earth, an art theft which is like a caper, a man who is seemingly abducted by aliens found dead in the middle of a crop circle and an arsonist who is obsessed with the story of the Three Little Pigs.”
The finale airs tonight (07.04.23) from 8pm and is also available on BBC iPlayer.
