Neighbours legend Ryan Moloney crowned Best Daytime Star at the Inside Soap Awards 2024

OHMYGOSSIP — Ryan Moloney has been crowned Best Daytime Star at the Inside Soap Awards 2024.
The 44-year-old actor was cast as Jarrod ‘Toadie’ Rebecchi in the Australian soap opera ‘Neighbours’ in 1995 but after bowing out of the role in September 2024 with a storyline that saw his character suffer a psychotic break following mental health issues, he has thanked fans for their “love and support” over the years.
He said: “I’m so glad that for my final year on ‘Neighbours’, I’ve been able to tell a story of importance – and one that is often avoided, misunderstood and demonised.
“Mental health and mental illness is something that touches all of us, and if we’re to deal with it properly, we need to see it on our mainstream platforms.
“So I’d like to thank my family for the constant grounding, the love and support. I’m thankful to Neighbours for allowing me to hone my skills every single day for the past 30 years.
“And of course to the fans, for their love and support of the character, for voting for me for this award and for allowing the story to resonate so loudly with you.”
Ryan had nominated alongside Kia Pegg (Scarlett Kiernan, ‘Doctors’) and Ada Nicodemou (Leah Patterson, ‘Home and Away’) for the award, and the ceremony will take place on Monday 30 September, with names of the other winners announced at 6pm GMT.
All four of the UK’s major soap operas have received a nod in the Best Storyline category, with ‘EastEnders’ lastest whodunnit, Paul’s MND in ‘Coronation Street’, Tom and Belle’s coercive control in ‘Emmerdale’ and the sibling abuse plot in ‘Hollyoaks’ all under consideration.
Gary Gillatt, executive editor of Inside Soap magazine, said: “Some of 2024’s most challenging and thought-provoking television dominates the storyline and acting categories this year: the bittersweet journey from Paul’s MND diagnosis in Coronation Street; the horror of coercive control in a marriage in ‘Emmerdale’ and abuse within a family in ‘Hollyoaks’. Meanwhile, ‘EastEnders’’ tale of the conspiracy of ‘The Six’ has won many fans. But who’ll take home the trophies on the night? All will soon be revealed!”

‘It’s a stupid idea’: Lord Sugar dismisses concept of The Apprentice all-stars series

OHMYGOSSIP — Lord Sugar has ruled out the prospect of an all-stars series of ‘The Apprentice’.
The 77-year-old entrepreneur thinks it would be a “stupid idea” for the BBC reality series to bring back old contestants despite the format being adopted by several rival programmes.
Lord Sugar is quoted by the Daily Star newspaper’s Hot TV column as saying: “What is the point of having people who have been through the process before then coming back into the process again?
“They would know exactly what goes on. It’s a stupid idea.”
Meanwhile, it was reported earlier this year that Lord Sugar had started work on a TV drama inspired by his life story.
The businessman founded the consumer electronics company Amstrad at the age of 21 and served as the chairman of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club before going on to present ‘The Apprentice’ – which he has hosted since the show’s launch in 2005.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s TV Biz column: “From the days selling computers out of the back of a van to leading his colossal Amstrad business empire, Lord Sugar’s trajectory in the business world alone is inspiring.
“Then add to the mix his work within politics, football and beyond – plus the showbiz sparkle since he became the face of the BBC’s ‘Apprentice’ – and you’ve got a very rich tapestry for an amazing story.”
Talks were taking place about whether to make a “straight biopic” about Lord Sugar’s life or a drama “inspired by real-life events”.
The insider added: “Talks are under way for the project, with ideas on the table spanning from a straight biopic through to a drama inspired by real-life events.
“Either way, as Lord Sugar approaches his 80th, he’s as keen as ever to stay ahead of the curve and sees the project as an interesting way to update his life story beyond everything covered in his 2010 autobiography.”

TOWIE legend Ferne McCann confirmed for Dancing on Ice 2025 as she makes huge career announcement

OHMYGOSSIP — Ferne McCann is the first celebrity confirmed for ‘Dancing on Ice’ 2025.
The 34-year-old reality star – who is best known for her time on ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ – will be taking to the rink as part of ITV’s annual skating competition when it returns to screens early next year and is looking forward to the “challenge” of it all.
Speaking on Monday’s (30.09.24) ‘Good Morning Britain’, she said: “I’m looking forward to it, it’s gonna be such a challenge, I’m such a huge fan of the show and with all the glitz and the glamour, it’s gonna be brilliant. I’ve got no idea [who my partner is]. I wanna be good, I am competitive…I’m looking forward to the challenge. We haven’t started training yet, we start next week.”
Meanwhile, the former ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!’ contestant – who has daughter Sunday, six, with ex-boyfriend Arthur Collins as well as Finty, 15 months, with fiance Lorri Haines – has been fronting the series ‘First Time Mum’ and ‘My Family and Me’ for ITV since leaving ‘TOWIE’ but has now decided to remove the cameras from her personal life for now following an “uncomfortable” moment with her eldest.
She said: “I knew it was always going to happen. With Sunday, my eldest daughter being in Year 2 now, I just felt in my heart that it was the right time. It is so intense. It’s been glorious, and it’s the ultimate home video but I wanted my children to have a normal childhood.
“We had this moment where [Sunday] asked me if she was famous and I know it sounds really contradictory because the reality show is all she’s ever known but it stopped me in my tracks and made me feel really uncomfortable.
“I made the decision to be famous, and I thought we should just take a break from it so she doesn’t have to come home from school and film. I want her to go and live out her own path.”

Kate Winslet admits iconic Titanic door scene was filmed in a ‘waist-height’ tank

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Winslet has admitted the iconic ‘Titanic’ door scene was filmed in a “waist-height” tank.
The sequence from the 1997 blockbuster sees Rose (Winslet) climb on top of a floating door after the famed ocean liner plunged below the icy waves, all while her lover Jack (Leonardo DiCaprio) clings on, though the 48-year-old actress has now admitted the making of the scene was not as impressive as it appears on screen.
During an appearance on the ‘Happy Sad Confused’ podcast, she told host Josh Horowitz: “Well that was quite an awkward tank, that one.
“To burst a bubble, it was waist-height, that tank. So first of all, I was regularly like, ‘Ugh, can I just go for a pee,’ and then I’d get up, get off the door, walk to the edge of the tank that was sort of 20 feet away, and I’d literally have to fling my leg over and climb out the tank and go for a pee and then come back and crawl on the door again.”
The ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ star joked she shouldn’t be exposing these moviemaking secrets because director James Cameron would hound her for doing so.
She continued: “It’s terrible to admit these things … Leo is, I’m afraid, kneeling down on the bottom of the tank. I shouldn’t be saying any of these things. James Cameron’s gonna be ringing me like, ‘Why are you telling them all that?’”
Winslet added the last 20 minutes of the picture were shot entirely with Automated Dialogue Replacement (A.D.R.) because the constant rushing of water from the tank drowned out both her and DiCaprio’s lines.
She said: “The thing that was amazing about the edges of the tank was that it was an infinity tank, so there was constant water rushing, and you could hear the constant sound of water.”
The scene has long been a point of contention over whether Jack could have fit on the door alongside Rose instead of succumbing to his watery grave and the actress joked her co-star “probably got PTSD from the whole thing”.

DC Studios working on Bane and Deathstroke movie

OHMYGOSSIP — DC Studios are reportedly working on a Bane and Deathstroke movie.
The company has branched out into making stand-alone Batman villain projects with ‘Joker’ and ‘The Penguin’, and now The Hollywood Reporter has claimed two more bad guys will be getting their own film.
The outlet said ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ writer Matthew Orton is working on the script for the supposed flick, though no director is said to be attached to the project at the moment.
Bane previously appeared on the big screen in Christopher Nolan’s 2012 blockbuster ‘The Dark Knight Rises’, where he was portrayed by Tom Hardy, while Deathstroke – as played by Joe Manganiello – cameoed in both the theatrical and director’s cut of ‘Justice League’.
Meanwhile, the studio is gearing up for the release of ‘Joker: Folie a Deux’, which sees Joaquin Phoenix reprise his role as the unhinged criminal opposite Lady Gaga’s Harley ‘Lee’ Quinn.
The pop star, 38, recently explained she channelled her inner “mania and chaos” to play the criminally insane music therapist.
She told America’s Vogue magazine: “Harley Quinn is a character people know from the ether of pop culture.
“I had a different experience creating her, namely my experience with mania and chaos inside — for me, it creates a quietness.
“Sometimes women are labeled as these overly emotional creatures and when we are overwhelmed we are erratic or unhinged. But I wonder if when things become so broken from reality, when we get pushed too far in life, what if it makes you…quiet?
“I would say that I worked from a sense-memory perspective: What does it feel like to walk through the world and be…braced, in an intense way? And what happens when you cover up all of the complexities beneath the surface?'”
Gaga added she also used her experience of reinventing herself within the music industry to play Lee.
Speaking to Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, she explained: “I think that for me, this idea of dual identities was always something that was a part of my music-making.
“I was always creating characters in my music, and when I made Lee for ‘Joker’, she just really had this profound effect on me.”

Tommy Mallet has just £5,000 in the bank after losing his £4 million fortune

OHMYGOSSIP — Tommy Mallet has just £5,000 left in the bank after once being worth £4 million.
The former star of ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ revealed that most of the fortune he made from his trainer brand Mallet London – which he set up with former business partner Evren Ozka – has gone as a result of the pair spending the past year locked in a bitter feud.
Speaking on Ben Gallaga’s ‘Everybody Wants To Be Us’ podcast, Tommy said: “I was very cash rich at one point. I’d always have four mil in the bank.
“But now I’ve probably got five grand in and I’m like f****** hell, how am I going to pay for everything?”
Tommy, who has three-year-old son Brody and is preparing to welcome a second child with his wife and former ‘TOWIE’ co-star Georgia Kousoulou, has referenced an ongoing court case centred on Mallet London and described how he had offloaded his assets after departing the firm in 2023 – although he was unable to provide further detail on what had happened.
The 32-year-old TV star posted on social media: “It’s probably not over, but as it stands I can work and support my family.
“I’ve sold all my assets to defend myself and starting from scratch, but I’ve got some wonderful companies, and I will give it my all to get it back so my family can continue living the life I worked so hard to give them.”
Tommy added: “Just call me the monk who’s sold his Ferrari for a bit.”
The reality star has now launched a new trainer company called CTRNE World and explained that his aim is to be “content” with what he has achieved in life by the time he reaches his 60s.
Mallet told the podcast: “I wanna get to the point where I’m in my 60s and I’m so content I’ve done everything that I was destined to do that I’m at peace with my life. And I’m not going to do that by worrying about everything else.”

Vanessa Feltz warns Phillip Schofield’s TV return is ‘a risk’ but hopes for ‘successful’ comeback

OHMYGOSSIP — Vanessa Feltz hopes Phillip Schofield’s return to TV is a “success”, but admitted it is a “risk”.
The 62-year-old TV presenter has wished the former ‘This Morning’ host “all the luck in the world” after it was revealed he is to take part in brand-new Channel 5 show ‘Cast Away’, which will see him marooned on a desert island for 10 days armed with nothing but camera gear and a lip balm.
She told Metro.co.uk: “I just think whatever he does to make him feel better, I wish him all the luck in the world.
“Obviously I haven’t seen it, so I don’t know how he copes in isolation for all those days, and whether it turns out to be a good thing or a bad thing.
“Any reality TV show anyone does is a risk, that’s the whole point, you could come out brilliantly and everyone could fall in love with you and you could impress them to the max.
“But he is a very seasoned TV professional, and I really hope that it’s the right thing for him, and it does him the power of good, that he personally enjoys it and that the viewers enjoy it and that it makes him feel better and it makes everybody feel better. That’s what I would like. I’d like it to be a success.”
Phillip has been away from our screens for the last 16 months after he quit ‘This Morning’ and then ITV altogether after admitting to an “unwise, but not illegal” affair with a younger, male colleague.
On ‘Cast Away’, he is expected to open about his personal life since departing the brunchtime show.
Vanessa admitted she hasn’t been in touch with Phillip since his TV return was announced, because she doesn’t want to “jump on the band wagon”.
She added: “I just think, don’t jump on the band wagon of messaging, and I don’t like it when people do that to me, and it happens to me a lot.”

Olympic gymnast Max Whitlock ‘in talks about I’m A Celebrity appearance’

OHMYGOSSIP — Max Whitlock is in talks about appearing in ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’.
The 31-year-old Olympian – Britain’s most successful gymnast – is said to have met ITV bosses to speak about potentially starring in this year’s series of the Ant and Dec-fronted show.
A TV insider told The Sun newspaper: “Max has met with the I’m A Celebrity bookers and talks are ongoing.
“He is a huge fan of the show and has been keen to take part for years.
“This is the first time ITV have invited him to meet and they think Max could be a brilliant contestant.
“Max has good looks, charm and is super competitive, which would come in handy when it comes to the Bushtucker trials.”
Max retired from gymnastics this summer after taking part in the Paris 2024 Olympics, where he finished fourth in the Olympic pommel horse final.
The insider added: “Now he has left gymnastics behind him there is no better time for Max to spread his wings and he is hopeful this could be the start of an exciting career in TV.”
Should Max sign up for the show, he could be sharing a camp with former ‘X Factor’ judge and N-Dubz star Tulisa Contostavlos, who was recently linked to the programme.
An insider recently told the publication: “Tulisa has been on ITV’s hit list for a while but until now she’s never wanted to consider it.
“This year is a decade since she left The X Factor so she felt the time was right to return to the TV spotlight – the amazing reception to the N-Dubz reunion tour really helped build her confidence.”

‘One or two of us are on the brink of death!’ James May ‘not depressed’ about The Grand Tour ending

OHMYGOSSIP — James May is “not depressed” about ‘The Grand Tour’ ending, and joked it was time to stop the show because the presenters were “on the brink of death”.
The 61-year-old TV star co-hosted the programme alongside his fellow former ‘Top Gear’ presenters Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond, and he is “not full of woe and regret” about the last-ever episode, which premiered earlier this month, because the trio ended “on a high note”.
Speaking at Market Place Vauxhall – where vendors have collaborated with the star to create limited-edition James Gin infused dishes for one week only – he said: “Nothing will ever be as big as ‘Top Gear’ and ‘The Grand Tour’ were, so I’m not full of woe and regret.
“It was time to stop. We are all getting quite old.
“One or two of us are on the brink of death, and I hope we left on a high note with people wanting more, because that’s what you’re supposed to do in show business.
“So, I’m not depressed about it.
“It’s a time for reflection, a reflection usually leads to another gin.”
As well as being busy with James Gin, the star also has a couple of TV projects lined up this year.
When asked what he has coming up after ‘The Grand Tour’ finished, he added: “It’s a bit of a grey fog.
“I am involved in a couple of TV projects.
“One about making things and one about great explorers of the age of sail.
“But they’re not on until quite a bit later this year.”

Ben Stiller to produce and star in pickleball comedy The Dink

OHMYGOSSIP — Ben Stiller is due to produce and star in the pickleball comedy ‘The Dink’.
The 58-year-old actor will appear alongside ‘New Girl’ star Jake Johnson, ‘Step Brothers’ actress Mary Steenburgen, ‘The Truman Show’ actor Ed Harris and former tennis champion Andy Roddick in the upcoming flick, which follows a washed-up tennis pro (Johnson) as he finally relents and plays pickleball in an effort to save a club in crisis and earn his father’s respect.
As well as starring in the comedy, the ‘Zoolander’ actor’s production company Red Hour Films will be collaborating with Rivulet Films on the movie.
Stiller was last seen in the comedy-drama ‘Nutcrackers’ where he played a workaholic who leaves the city and travels to rural Ohio to care for his four orphaned nephews
The movie marked Stiller’s first film role in seven years, and previously revealed the strength of the script and the quality of his young co-stars – brothers Homer, Ulysses, Atlas and Arlo Janson had won him over.
Speaking at a screening of the movie at the Toronto International Film Festival earlier this month, the actor explained: “I made a choice a few years ago I was only going to do something if it really resonated with me. I wanted to meet these boys and be part of this.”
Director David Gordon Green added: “There was a part of me who thought there was a time to do something different. I challenged myself to make a movie without cynicism and viciousness.”
The ‘Night at the Museum’ actor – who stars opposite Linda Cardellini, Edi Patterson and Tim Heidecker in the picture – emphasised that he wanted the flick to be seen in cinemas rather than going straight to a streaming platform.
He explained: “It’s important for us to experience a movie like this in a theatre. We need more movies like this on screen. It’s nostalgic for us, but it’s what people enjoy.”

Mel Gibson unsure if he’ll direct The Passion of the Christ sequel before Lethal Weapon 5

OHMYGOSSIP — Mel Gibson isn’t sure whether he will direct ‘The Passion of the Christ: Resurrection’ before ‘Lethal Weapon 5’.
The 68-year-old star is due to helm the follow-up to the 2004 historical drama as well as the next instalment into the action franchise but has now admitted the production schedules for both movies are up in the air.
When ComicBook.com asked the ‘Braveheart’ actor which film he’d tackle first, he said: “I don’t know, and that’s the funny thing.
“I mean, there’s various obstacles to getting any film up on its feet, and not just budgetary, but there’s like, there’s 1,000,001 reasons why something goes and why it doesn’t.
“So it’s really kind of a c***shoot at this point what goes first and which came first, whether it’s the chicken or the egg.”
In 2021, Gibson revealed he would be directing a sequel to 1998’s ‘Lethal Weapon 4′ – in which he starred alongside Danny Glover, Joe Pesci, Rene Russo and Chris Rock – after the series’ original filmmaker Richard Donner passed away that year, though news about the upcoming film has been slow since.
In June, the actor insisted he was still attached to the project, and teased the flick would retain its comedic tone while also tackling “a couple of hard issues”.
During an appearance on the ‘Inspire Me Podcast’, he said: “Richard Donner, who did the other four, sadly passed away, and he was a good friend. He kind of tasked me with carrying the flag home on this one so it’ll be an honour for me to do that.
“He had gone a fair way with the screenplay, so we’ve used what was there and we kept poking at it. I’m pretty happy with it.”
Meanwhile, Gibson and his production team are looking for filming locations in Malta and Italy for ‘The Passion of the Christ: Resurrection’ – which will see Jim Caviezel reprise his role as Jesus Christ – and have visited the ancient towns of Gravina di Laterza, Ginosa and Altamura.
The actor’s publicist Alan Nierob told Variety: “All we can confirm is they were scouting locations recently.”

‘They remain friends rather than partners’ Made in Chelsea star splits from fiancé

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Made in Chelsea’ star Cheska Hull has split from her fiancé.
The 39-year-old reality TV star and Damian Crook are said to have gone their separate ways 15 months after he popped the question.
A source told MailOnline: “Cheska and Damian remain friends rather than partners.
“Their lives were on different trajectories, but they still respect and care for each other. The children are and always will be their priority.”
Cheska shot to fame on the E4 reality show in 2011, but she quit the programme in 2014 and relocated to Salcombe, Devon.
The star – who now works in PR – took to social media in June 2023 to reveal Damian had proposed on her 38th birthday.
She wrote: “Celebrating my engagement to @pacrook1 with my best friends @ollielockeworld @holbolbot @indoanniejones @fran_newmanyoung xxx @thestaffordlondon. (sic)”
And showing off her dazzling ring, she wrote: “I said yes! Obvs! Love you @pacrook1 and can’t wait to be your wife! Xxx. (sic)”
Cheska – who has six-year-old son Charlie with her ex Tom Huggett, who she split from before the youngster was born in 2017 – and Damian met on the school run.
Speaking about their first meeting in an interview with Closer magazine, she said: “I remember I was waiting to pick up my son in the playground. I looked over and was like, ‘That’s the kind of guy I should be with.’
“I didn’t know if he was married or what the situation was, I just thought, ‘Oh, he looks lovely. I wish I was with someone like that.’ The rest is history.”

‘It’s a shame he has that opinion’ Georgia Harrison hits back at Celebrity SAS co-star Ovie Soko

OHMYGOSSIP — Georgia Harrison has insisted she wasn’t “playing up to the cameras” on ‘Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins’, and thinks it is “a shame” Ovie Soko thought she was.
The former ‘Love Island’ stars both feature in the latest series of the brutal Channel 4 reality TV show, and Georgia has hit back after Ovie accused her of having “drama moments” on the programme.
Speaking to her ‘Celebrity SAS’ co-star Bobby Norris on Fubar Radio, she said: “I felt like I got along really well with him on the way out there, and to be honest, I liked him throughout the whole experience.
“I genuinely didn’t realise that he didn’t like me until the last day, and even then, looking back, I thought maybe it was just because the situation was starting to get a bit of a struggle for him and I felt that maybe he was just using that as an out. But apparently, he just genuinely doesn’t like me.
“I wasn’t playing up to the cameras. I think after about a day of being there, you forget the cameras are there, and all you want to do is survive.
“It’s a shame that he has that opinion of me. And I genuinely from the bottom of my heart quite liked him and still do.”
But Georgia has taken Ovie’s comment “on the chin”, and has accepted not everyone will like her.
She said: “I’m gonna take it on the chin.
“I think I suffered a lot during my life with always wanting everyone to like me, and I think I found it really tough when I realised maybe, potentially [he] didn’t.
“But I think you’ve got to accept sometimes in life, not everyone’s going to like you, and as long as you know that, you know you were kind to people, you treated people with respect, and you didn’t do anything that you regret, then you just got to shake it off and move on.”
Georgia’s comments come after Ovie recently told The Sun newspaper: “I didn’t go on SAS to have drama moments, I went on SAS for a personal journey.
“I didn’t know whether that was Georgia Harrison’s full goal, at times it just felt like she played up for the cameras.
“Everyone understood we’re here to give it a good crack, we are here to help each other.
“I felt like everyone got that on the show besides her.”

Jonathan Ross gets a yearly cheque from Jonathan Creek cameo

OHMYGOSSIP — Jonathan Ross makes £3.91 per year from a cameo appearance in ‘Jonathan Creek’.
The 63-year-old chat show host receives a small sum each year from repeats of his appearance in the Alan Davies-fronted detective series in 2000 but admits that he has no recollection of filming for the episode.
Jonathan said on his ‘Reel Talk’ podcast: “I was in an episode of ‘Jonathan Creek’ and I know this because I receive a cheque about once a year for about £3.91.
“I can’t remember doing it – I always loved Alan Davies and I know I did it, but I can’t remember filming it.”
The ‘Jonathan Ross Show’ presenter has also featured as himself in the comedy shows ‘Only Fools and Horses’ and ‘Extras’ during his career and explained that he keeps the money he makes when the programmes are repeated.
He explained: “I was in ‘Extras’, I was in ‘Only Fools and Horses’, I was briefly in ‘French and Saunders’ once, I must earn about £7 or £8 a year on all these appearances.
“Do you know what I do with the money? I keep it. I earned it.”
Meanwhile, Jonathan revealed recently that he has gone to the loo outside to train his dogs Pumpkin and Spooky to follow his lead.
The star told Emily Dean’s ‘Walking the Dog’ podcast when asked if he had ever relieved himself outdoors: “Do you mean when I weed in the garden or when I pooed in the garden?
“It’s actually desirable because you have to mark your territory.”
His daughter Honey, 27, who appeared with him on the show, chipped in: “He claimed he was doing it to make the dogs feel more comfortable.”
She also joked: “But honestly, he was doing it on his own time for himself.”

‘We need to do it’: Halle Berry wants her own John Wick spin-off movie

OHMYGOSSIP — Halle Berry is hoping to get her own ‘John Wick’ spin-off movie.
The 58-year-old actress starred opposite Keanu Reeves, 60, in 2019’s ‘John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum’ as former assassin Sofia Al-Azwar, and has now revealed she has spoken to Lionsgate Films about continuing her character’s story in a future blockbuster.
When The Hollywood Reporter asked Berry if she had hoped to have returned in ‘John Wick: Chapter 4’, she said: “Yeah, I wish that would’ve happened, but that’s not the route they went [in ‘Chapter 4’].
“I thought that would’ve been a cool storyline. We talked about it, that’s for sure. We seeded it in ‘John Wick: Chapter 3’, and we’ve talked about a spinoff with Lionsgate that could potentially happen.”
While the actress insisted a possible Sofia Al-Azwar film was still in the pitching phase, the ‘Catwoman’ star emphasised she was optimistic the project may eventually come into fruition.
She said: “We need to do it sooner than later, but that could potentially happen. And I love that universe.
“I love ‘John Wick’ and I loved that character, so you never know. We’ll see.”
This isn’t the first time Berry has hinted she could return to the ‘John Wick’ world, as the ‘Never Let Go’ actress had previously teased her character may get her own movie.
She told IGN before the release of ‘Chapter 4’: “Sofia’s not in the next ‘John Wick’ movie. There could possibly be a Sofia … her own movie.
“So she might not be in ‘John Wick [Chapter 4]’, but she might be doing her own thingy-thingy.”
Berry getting her own spin-off movie certainly isn’t out of the question, as Lionsgate has shown they are open to expanding the series with projects like the Mel Gibson-starring TV show ‘The Continental: From the World of John Wick’ and Ana de Armas’ upcoming film ‘Ballerina’.
Earlier this month, the 36-year-old actress confirmed the flick had been delayed until next year after undergoing reshoots, but insisted the movie would be worth the wait.
Speaking to Collider, she said: “Every time they say you have reshoots, it’s not good. You don’t feel good about it.

Samuel L. Jackson reveals Pulp Fiction’s violent original ending

OHMYGOSSIP — Samuel L. Jackson has revealed ‘Pulp Fiction’ nearly had a much more violent ending.
Quentin Tarantino’s 1994 movie concludes after gangster Jules (Jackson) manages to convince Pumpkin (Tim Roth) and Honey Bunny (Amanda Plummer) to peacefully end their diner robbery by reciting the fictionalised Bible passage Ezekiel 25:17 at them, but the 75-year-old actor has now shared the flick almost ended with a more grizzly sequence.
During a video uploaded to GQ’s YouTube channel where Jackson reflected on his Hollywood career, he said: “In ‘Pulp Fiction’ – in the original script – in the diner – when Tim first comes over and he asks about the briefcase, he opens it up. And when he opens it, I shoot Honey Bunny off the bar. And I shoot his a** and kill him.
“They do a cut and I open my eyes, and it’s what I would’ve done before I got the vision in the house of ‘don’t kill anybody’. He’s still standing there. So that’s not there.”
While the Marvel actor liked the sound of the original ending to the film – which also starred Uma Thurman and Bruce Willis – Jackson previously insisted his favourite movie moment of all time was the diner scene from the movie, where his character chooses to put his past as a contract killer behind him in a quest to find redemption, all while his associate Vincent Vega (John Travolta) watches in amazement.
He told Esquire: “Everybody loved the killing ones, but the diner scene [is the best], just because there’s so much going on when John and I are sitting there having that conversation prior to what happened, and the bullets not killing us, and he’s making this decision about walking the earth just to see what’s going on.”
The ‘Django Unchained’ star added by that point in the picture, the speech has become “the biggest threat you’ve ever heard”.
He explained: “So by the time Tim gets there and I have an opportunity to do that speech again, the same speech that I’ve been killing people with, and make it make sense in a whole ‘nother kind of way, and, one, it’s just the biggest threat you’ve ever heard in your life.
“And the next, the dude’s like sitting there making a revelation about who he is and where his place is in the world, and who he actually is.
“He said, ‘I’d love to be the shepherd, and that would be great.’ They said that they didn’t know how the movie was supposed to end until I did that scene. But they had no idea that that’s what all that s*** meant until I did it.”
