Andy Whyment calls Janice Dickinson ‘rude’ on I’m A Celebrity South Africa

OHMYGOSSIP — Andy Whyment called Janice Dickinson “rude” for her behaviour on ‘I’m A Celebrity… South Africa’.
The ‘Coronation Street’ star – who plays Kirk Sutherland in the ITV soap – and the former ‘America’s Next Top Model’ judge got into a row in the camp after she began making demands of him.
During Wednesday’s (03.05.23) episode, the 68-year-old supermodel told him: “Andy, I need a wreath. I need you to make me a wreath out of some leaves.”
The 42-year-old soap star responded: “You’ve picked the wrong person there. I can’t make a wreath.”
After her request was declined, Janice turned to fellow camper Myleene Klass and said: “He doesn’t want to do anything for me. He doesn’t even want to have a conversation with me. He hates me.”
Andy – who heard this exchange go down between the pair – vented about the ‘The Janice Dickinson Modelling Agency’ star while in the hut later, insisting she didn’t “need” to behave in such a way.
He said: “She is a massive star and I am Andy Whyment, Kirk from Corrie. But there is no need to be rude to people, just telling people to do things for you.
“There was no ‘please’ and no nothing… It’s like, ‘Well, no, I’m not your slave.’ ”
Elsewhere on the episode, Dean Gaffney and Joe Swash were both reduced to vomiting their way through the latest Bushtucker Trial.
The soap stars were competing to win treats for their fellow campmates – but they were left vomiting repeatedly as they struggled to digest their drinks, which included mashed-up maggots and blended cow vagina.
Ant McPartlin, the long-time co-host of the show, subsequently described the segment as the “most disgusting piece of television [he’s] ever been involved with”.

Janette Manrara announces the winner of the UK’s Biggest Disney Fan competition

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ star Janette Manrara crowned Kathryn Chung as the UK’s Biggest Disney Fan.
Kathryn, from Hackney, London, received the title after taking part in Disney Parks and Resorts social competition, UK’s Biggest Disney Fan. Kathryn and nine other Disney super-fans went on the ultimate 10-day Disney holiday across Disneyland Paris, Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and aboard Disney Cruise Line.
During this magical trip of a lifetime, the 10 fans competed in 10 challenges that tested their Disney credentials.
Janette joined the 10 fans on their magical journey and hosted many of the challenges testing their Disney fan credentials along the way.
At Disneyland Paris, they unleashed their inner hero and took on missions at Marvel Avengers Campus, before journeying to Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, where the fans competed amid lands of endless enchantment, and exhilarating thrills, and finally, on an adventure like no other, with Disney Cruise Line around the Bahamas on the Disney Wish.
At the end of the trip, the 39-year-old dancer – who is expecting her first child with her husband, fellow ‘Strictly’ pro Aljaz Skorjanec – presented Kathryn with her prize in front of Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.
To commemorate the occasion, Kathryn received a money-can’t-buy stay in the Cinderella Castle Suite, which is found through a secret doorway inside Cinderella Castle.
Discussing the competition, Janette said: ‘‘It was a dream come true to be a part of this competition from the early stages, right up until we announced our winner in front of Cinderella Castle. The top 10 fans were a true pleasure to meet and soak up Disney magic alongside – we’re all already planning our next Disney reunion together! Experiencing the Disney Parks and Disney Cruise Line was truly magical – I can’t wait to come back as a mummy soon!’’
Speaking about her victory, Kathryn said: “I am still lost for words to have been crowned the winner of the UK’s Biggest Disney Fan.
“My night in Cinderella’s Castle was a pure dream and a memory that I will cherish forever – along with this entire experience. I’ve made lifelong friends through this journey, and I can’t thank The Disney Parks UK team enough for all they have done to help make this a reality. Without them, none of this would have happened. I first stepped foot in a Disney Park when I was five years old. Since then, I have been fully captivated by the magic and enchantment that Disney brings to people all over the world. The experience has only enhanced this even more, and it shows that dreams really do come true”.
Outside of London, the other nine successful fans travelled from across the UK, including Glasgow, Kent, Bristol, North Yorkshire, Norfolk, Surrey, Bedfordshire and Devon.
Among the numerous participants of the competition, the 10 successful fans submitted their entries by sharing a 30-60 second video on social media, expressing why they wanted to compete.
Every single competition entry video was reviewed by a special Disney committee and were marked against criteria including creativity, originality, on-screen presence, and enthusiasm. These fans were invited to take part in the ultimate Disney holiday across the Easter break and brought along their own guests.
Speaking on the competition, Vice President of Disney Destinations International UK and EMEA, Angelica Costantini, remarked: “Congratulations to our winner, Kathryn! This competition was a hugely exciting way for us to come together and share our Disney stories and memories during our 100thAnniversary year. We are inspired by the fans and families who have brought us into their hearts over the last 100 years and we wanted to choose a prize and celebration that reflected that. “The 10 short-listed fans and their guests had a truly magical time experiencing Disneyland Paris, Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Disney Cruise Line, all whilst competing for the title, ‘UK’s Biggest Disney Fan’.”

The cast also includes Hayley Mills, Bill Paterson, Adil Ray and ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race UK’ winner Lawrence Chaney.

The film is being directed by Stephen Cookson from a script written by Alixis Zegerman.

Diane played the role of Kay Adams-Corleone in ‘The Godfather’ but admits she didn’t know “a single thing” about the plot of the film before landing the part as she hadn’t read Mario Puzo’s 1969 novel of the same name.
She told People: “I think the kindest thing that someone’s ever done for me … is that I got cast to be in ‘The Godfather’ and I didn’t even read it. I didn’t know a single thing.
“I just was going around auditioning. I think that was amazing for me. And then I had to kind of read the book.”

Amy Adams, Paul Rudd and Tessa Thompson to star in The Invite

OHMYGOSSIP — Amy Adams, Paul Rudd and Tessa Thompson are to star in ‘The Invite’.
The trio are attached to feature in the comedy film based on Cesc Gay’s award-winning 2020 Spanish film ‘Sentimental’.
The movie is being directed for FilmNation Entertainment and Permut Presentations by Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris from a script penned by Rashida Jones and Will McCormack.
The film tells the story of Joe (Rudd) and Angela (Adams), who find that their relationship is stuck in a rut after 15 years of marriage.
Desperate to have a conversation that doesn’t revolve around their marriage woes, Angela invites their rowdy neighbours Kayla (Thompson) and Shane over for cocktails.
Joe is irritated that he has to engage with the couple and plans to use the occasion to confront them but he and Angela both get more than they bargained for as they discover Kayla and Shane are hosting weekly orgies and have an invite for them.
Amy has played Lois Lane in a number of DC Extended Universe (DCEU) movies opposite Henry Cavill’s Superman and confirmed that she would support the studio in whatever casting decisions they make after film chiefs decided that Cavill will not play the Man of Steel again.
She told Variety: “They haven’t spoken to me about it. If it’s me, great. If it’s somebody else, the role of Lois has been filled by so many wonderful actresses in the past so I’ll support whatever direction they go.”

Georgia Kousoulou and Tommy Mallet’s heartbreaking miscarriage will feature on Baby Steps

OHMYGOSSIP — Georgia Kousoulou and Tommy Mallet will open up on their heartbreaking miscarriage in the new series of ‘Baby Steps’.
The ‘TOWIE’ couple – whose son Brody turns two this weekend – recently revealed Georgia, 31, had suffered a miscarriage and they will try to help viewers with their own experiences on the upcoming fourth series of their ITV reality show.
As quoted by The Sun newspaper, Lime Pictures’ director of programming, Rebecca Kenny-Smith said: “We want to express our sincere gratitude to Georgia and Tommy for their trust in allowing us to share their deeply personal and emotional journey with viewers that will undoubtedly touch many hearts.
“This series promises to be an authentic and unfiltered portrayal of their experiences, and we are honoured to have the opportunity to bring their story to light with sensitivity and care.”
It’s said the couple let the cameras film as their unborn child was undergoing tests and scans before they received the heartbreaking news at their 12 week scan.
The couple first started dating nine years ago while working on ‘The Only Way Is Essex’, and later got offered their own spin-off show in 2020 when they found out Georgia was pregnant with their first child.
The first series saw them preparing for parenthood, with the next series covering their engagement in Mexico and the third run seeing them overcome relationship struggles after Tommy was diagnosed with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder).
The new series will see them planning their wedding after finally setting a date for 2024.
A spokesperson for ITV said: “As series four unfolds, Georgia and Tommy will be gearing up for a jam-packed year ahead.
“With their wedding now set for next year, the couple have a lot of planning to do, but will they be able to handle it all?
“Meanwhile, Brody is growing up fast and is due to start nursery in September, prompting Georgia and Tommy to begin potty training him.
“However, as Brody approaches his ‘terrible twos,’ Georgia finds him to be needier than ever, whilst Tommy’s relationship with him takes a slide as he struggles to balance work and home life.
“With business booming as usual for Tommy, can he set aside the time to be around for Brody more?”

Tom Jones writer says show contains ‘meat’ of the book’s love story but changes had to be made

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Tom Jones’ screenwriter Gwyneth Hughes wanted to keep the “meat” of the book’s love story.
The miniseries’ creator detailed how Henry Fielding’s 1749 novel and her ITVX show – which is now available to stream – are different as she had to take out “big chunks” of the source material to make the show fit into the four-episode commission.
Speaking to media in a Q+A, she said: “I don’t really remember the terrible pain of that, it was a while ago. Obviously, I’ve compiled a few characters, I’ve taken big chunks out of the middle. Stuff that wasn’t centrally to do with the relationship between Tom and Sofia, the meat of the romcom if you like, I sort of jumped.”
Gwyneth didn’t find it “difficult” to adapt ‘The History of Tom Jones, A Foundling’ – which has already been made in a 1963 movie with Albert Finney and another television series in 1997 starring Max Beesley – for TV, which she credits to the author’s plotting.
She said: “It wasn’t actually that difficult. Famously, ‘Tom Jones’ has been described as having one of the most perfect plots in the whole universe.
“And it is perfect, but it takes him 200 pages to unravel it and I’ve only got 200 pages for the whole project. So I did some simplification towards the end.”
Meanwhile, Solly McLeod – who plays the titular character opposite his romantic lead Sophie Wilde – has teased that ‘Ted Lasso’ star Hannah Waddingham’s character Lady Bellaston is “just very bad” in the best possible way.
he said: “What can you expect from Lady B? Naughtiness. She’s just very bad. But in a very fun way.
“You feel you’re definitely attracted to her character. Even though you’re kind of rooting for Tom and Sophia, there’s a part of you that thinks, ‘I do kind of like her as well.’
“So she’s a great central villain, if you want to call her a villain – she’s not really.”

Zoe Ball is hosting Mamma Mia! I Have A Dream

OHMYGOSSIP — Zoe Ball has been announced as the host of ‘Mamma Mia! I Have a Dream’.
The 52-year-old presenter will be at the helm of ITV’s upcoming talent show hunting for a new West End star to play the roles of Sophie and Sky – played by Amanda Seyfried and Dominic Cooper on the big screen – in a new stage production of the ABBA musical.
Radio 2 star Zoe said: “They are going to go through quite the journey but like the show and like the movie, there is going to be song, dance and fun in the sun.”
The judging panel will be made up Samantha Barks, Jessie Ware, Amber Riley and Alan Carr.
The 46-year-old comedian is excited to be working on the show, which is being filmed in the Greek Islands where the original story is set.
Alan added: “Getting to judge on one of my favourite musicals, in one of my favourite locations ever, is literally my dream job.
“A whole lot of feta and a whole lot of Abba – perfection.”
Meanwhile Jessie, 38, is delighted to be returning to the same country where she got married to childhood friend Sam Burrows in 2014.
She said: “I love Greece – I got married there, I sung a ‘Mamma Mia’ invite to everybody. I just can’t wait.
And Judy Craymer, who wrote and produced the musical, heaped praise on the balance between the judges as they each bring unique skills to the table.
She commented: “Alan has a unique comedic insight, Jessie a wealth of music industry experience and Samantha and Amber are the ultimate stage musical powerhouses.”
Judy previously pointed to the way the stage show has helped young actors make “their stage debuts”.
She said: “‘MAMMA MIA!’ has always been a show that has encouraged young actors and given opportunities to those making their stage debuts – just as our current Sophie and Sky in London (Meg Hateley and Miles Henderson) are making their West End debuts – so it feels the perfect fit for a TV show that will seek out new talent for musical theatre.
“In the lead-up to the celebrations for the stage musical’s 25th birthday in 2024, we’re really looking forward to working with Thames and ITV on this show and involving our well-loved musical as much as possible in the programme.”

Binky Felstead names 3rd child

OHMYGOSSIP — Binky Felstead has named her third child Wilder.
The former ‘Made in Chelsea’ star and her husband Max Darnton welcomed a son into the world on April 15th, and she has now revealed the little one’s moniker.
Alongside a picture of her five-year-old daughter India – who she has with ex Joshua Patterson – and her 22-month-old son Wolfie, who she has with Max – Binky wrote on Instagram: “INDIA – WOLFIE – WILDER
… I’m a very lucky mummy”
Several of Binky’s followers took to Instagram to praise the couple’s name choice.
But some were unsure how to pronounce Wilder.
One fan asked: “Congratulations! Is it pronounced Wilder like wild and then er or like the beginning of Wilderness? My brain keeps reading it differently!”
While Binky is yet to confirm how to pronounce her boy’s moniker, the general consensus among the supporters was it is “Wild-er”.
Last month, Binky admitted she “couldn’t be happier” to have welcomed a third child into the world, and she described the little one as “perfect”.
The star shared a video montage on Instagram of her labour journey, complete with several pre and post-birth pictures and footage, and she wrote in the caption: “15.04.23. 10:45pm!
“Couldn’t be happier he’s just perfect. We now have three musketeers.”
The images included Max holding his baby boy, and some of the video footage featured intimate moments from the birth.
She began the montage by sharing a clip of herself setting up her baby boy’s crib ahead of his birth.
Binky said on the clip: “Today’s the day. I’m so excited. I can’t wait to meet this little one.”
In December, Binky took to Instagram to share a video of her gender reveal, in which India popped a balloon to reveal blue confetti.
But India was less than impressed with the result, saying: “I don’t want a brother.”
Binky later revealed India was “beyond happy” to be having another sibling after realising she will be the only girl.

Sylvester Stallone to return for Cliffhanger reboot

OHMYGOSSIP — Sylvester Stallone is returning for a ‘Cliffhanger’ reboot.
The 76-year-old actor is set to reprise his role as mountain climber Gabe Walker in the sequel to the 1993 action thriller that is being directed by Ric Roman Waugh.
The ‘Angel Has Fallen’ filmmaker is helming from a script by Mark Bianculli and casting is currently underway for supporting roles alongside Stallone.
Neal H. Moritz’s Original Film will produce with Rocket Science and Stallone and Braden Aftergood’s Balboa Productions.
Waugh said in a statement: “Growing up with the biggest action films of the 80s and 90s, working on many of them myself, ‘Cliffhanger’ was by far one of my favourite spectacles. To be at the helm of the next chapter, scaling the Italian Alps with the legend himself, Sylvester Stallone, is a dream come true.
“It’s going to be a great challenge and blast taking this franchise to new heights, a responsibility I don’t take lightly.”
Moritz added: “I’ll never forget the thrill I felt watching Sylvester Stallone in ‘Cliffhanger’. I am incredibly excited to be working with him and Ric Waugh to continue the story of Gabe Walker and introduce this iconic story to a new generation of filmgoers around the world.”
The original ‘Cliffhanger’ was directed by Renny Harlin and follows Gabe as a rescue mission embroils him in a botched air heist by a group of international criminals. John Lithgow, Michael Rooker and Janine Turner also featured in the film.
Stallone will next be seen on the big screen in the upcoming ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ and is also set to star in ‘The Expendables 4’ later this year.

Jessie Buckley and Paul Mescal in talks to join Hamnet cast

OHMYGOSSIP — Jessie Buckley and Paul Mescal are in talks to star in ‘Hamnet’.
The duo are set to join the cast of Chloe Zhao’s adaptation of Maggie O’Farrell’s best-selling historical fiction novel.
The tale imagines the story of Agnes – the wife of the world’s most famous writer, William Shakespeare – as she struggles to come to terms with the loss of her only son Hamnet.
The story charts the emotional, familial and artistic consequences of the loss and brings to life a human and heart-stopping tale as the backdrop to the creation of Shakespeare’s most famous play, ‘Hamlet’.
Liza Marshall, Pippa Harris and Sam Mendes are producing the movie on behalf of Neal Street, the company that produced the Oscar-winning war film ‘1917’.
Chloe is adapting the script with O’Farrell but it is unclear if the film will be her next project as she is developing a number of movies following the success of ‘Nomadland’ – which dominated the Oscars in 2021.
Her most recent movie was the Marvel blockbuster ‘Eternals’, which was met with a mixed response, but Chloe acknowledges that it was never going to impress everyone.
The 41-year-old filmmaker told The Hollywood Reporter: “When you’re in Marvel and when you’re dealing with an audience that big, I truly treasure and respect that each of us is so unique. It’s exciting that we’re all so different, and we’re all changing and growing every day.
“But with a global audience, it’s almost impossible to make everybody perfectly happy, and to do that is to say that everyone is the same.”
Chloe added: “So I think there’s inevitably going to be that (difference of opinion), and you just have to stay true to the kind of film you want to make and who you are and the people you’re collaborating with.
“That’s all you can do, really, and have a good time. Everything else is out of your control.”

Carol Vorderman fears buoyant bum will hamper chances on I’m A Celebrity South Africa

OHMYGOSSIP — Carol Vorderman fears her buoyant bum will hamper her chances of winning stars during a trial on tonight’s ‘I’m A Celebrity… South Africa’.
The former ‘Countdown’ star believes her derriere is the “most buoyant thing in Britain”, but it is not helpful when she takes on Tanks of Torment on Tuesday night’s (02.05.23) episode.
She says: “My bottom always floats to the top … it’s the most buoyant thing in Britain.
“So getting down underwater is my biggest problem.”
Carol is tasked with swimming through four sections of a tank, collecting stars as she goes, but she is joined by frogs, crocodiles and snakes among other critters.
The 62-year-old star was given the chance to pick a fellow campmate to take on the trial with her, and she wasted no time in choosing former Olympian Fatima Whitbread.
In the Bush Telegraph, Fatima says: “My name came out of Carol’s mouth within seconds!”
Fatima is tasked with raising the doors that separate the tanks to enable Carol to swim through the different sections.
At the trial clearing, Fatima says of their pairing: “Here we have the brains and the brawn.
“It’s going to be a good combination.”
But Carol and Fatima are not the only pair taking part in a trial on Tuesday night’s episode.
New arrivals and former ‘EastEnders’ stars Joe Swash and Dean Gaffney are immediately put to the test before they can join up with camp.
They take part in a trial titled Flipping Disgusting, in which they have to drink some gruesome concoctions in a bid to win some treats for the individual campmates.
Joe admits: “I’m really nervous. I feel like I’m doing this for the first time again, which ain’t good.”
Dean says of returning: “I’m probably more scared now than I was then!”
‘I’m A Celebrity… South Africa’ airs weeknights at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX, and on Virgin Media One and Virgin Media Player in Ireland.

Graziano Di Prima: Len Goodman should be remembered by Strictly Come Dancing

OHMYGOSSIP — Len Goodman should be remembered on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, says pro dancer Graziano Di Prima.
The 28-year-old star thinks the BBC One Latin and ballroom competition should do “something” to remember the former head judge – who passed away last month aged 78 after a short battle with bone cancer – and he also lamented ‘Strictly: It Takes Two’ host Rylan Clark departing the BBC Two companion show.
He told The Sun newspaper’s TV Biz column: “I really hope something will happen to commemorate Len – I think one of his favourite dances, or something.
“It’s sad about Rylan. We’re very, very good friends. I said to him last year, ‘Why don’t you do ‘Strictly’ on the line-up? You can dance with me’.
“He was like, ‘Oh, that is the only reason I’d join the show.’ ”
News of former ‘Dancing With the Stars’ judge Len’s death was shared last month “with great sadness” from his wife Sue Barrett and son James.
A spokesperson for Len told BBC News: “It is with great sadness to announce that Len Goodman has passed away peacefully, aged 78. A much loved husband, father and grandfather who will be sorely missed by family, friends and all who knew him.”
Several of Len’s other former ‘Strictly’ co-stars also paid tribute to him, including the show’s presenters Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly.
Claudia tweeted: “A kind and brilliant man. Full of twinkle, warmth and wit. Sending so much love to his family and friends. We love you Len xx. (sic)”
Tess posted: “So very sad to hear the news today of the passing of our Len Goodman.
“A beautiful man, genuine, warm and humble, who left an impression on everyone he met. I’ll never forget the fun we had on set, his love and passion for dancing and that wonderfully cheeky smile lit up the screen.”
In 2012, Len remarked how he would like to be remembered as “genuinely nice” when he is gone.
He told The Guardian newspaper that the problem with death is that “everyone says you were nice”.
Len added: “I would like to be thought of as genuinely nice. I would like there to be people who can honestly say: ‘Len! Oh yeah, there was more good than bad in him.’ ”

Jamie Oliver keen to front Blind Date reboot

OHMYGOSSIP — Jamie Oliver wants to front a ‘Blind Date’ reboot.
The ‘Jamie’s One Pan Wonders’ presenter thinks dating apps are “too convenient” and believes there is now an appetite for the iconic 80s show – originally helmed by the late Cilla Black and then led by Paul O’Grady during a 2017 stint on Channel 5 – and he would love to be a part of the revival.
The 47-year-old celebrity chef told The Sun newspaper’s TV Biz column: “I love a bit of love, and there needs to be more in the world.
“Everything’s gone all Tinder, Grindr and Hinge. It’s too easy, too convenient.
“And one of the things I’ve always seen, if everything is too linear and too efficient, you miss everything you can learn in the wonkiness and the inefficiency. So I love Cilla Black and I love ‘Blind Date’, and I would happily turn up and do that.”
Jamie – who has been married to his wife Jools since 2000, and together they have children Poppy, 21, Daisy, 20, Petal, 14, Buddy, 12, and River, six – would want to bring some of his own foodie skillset to the gig.
He said: “There would be a bit of cooking in there too, just to mix it up a bit.
“But this is straight from the heart – talk to ITV.”
The ‘Jamie’s £1 Wonders’ star recently led tributes to the late ‘Masterchef New Zealand’ judge Jock Zonfrillo, who died aged 46.
Jamie wrote on Instagram: “I’m in total shock to wake up to the sudden death of chef Jock Zonfrillo. We had the best time working together for this years MasterChef, I can’t tell how good it was to work with him.
“Jock was very generous to me with his time and spirit in the show and for that I was really grateful… Melisa, Andy Jock work as the most inspiring judges and mentors and each have there very own unique view and style… Jock will be so very missed…”

Sky Sports search for Jeff Stelling replacement ‘as trio are interviewed’

OHMYGOSSIP — Sky Sports’ Adam Smith could replace Jeff Stelling as the host of ‘Soccer Saturday’.
Jeff announced on Saturday (29.04.23) that he is leaving Sky Sports’ weekly football show at the end of the season after 25 years at the helm, and ‘The Saturday Social’ host Adam – who is known as Smithy – is said to have been interviewed for the post this week.
Julian Warren – who steps in for Jeff on ‘Soccer Saturday’ during international breaks – and broadcaster Mark Chapman are also said to have been interviewed about the job.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Smithy is the frontrunner to take on Jeff’s role.
“There are a lot of people behind the scenes who are batting for him to get the job.
“‘Soccer Saturday’ is a tough gig and it needs a solid broadcaster who is quick on their feet.
“Stepping into Jeff’s shoes is a massive responsibility but plenty of his colleagues think Smithy is the right person for the job.”
But talks about Jeff’s replacement are said to be “ongoing”.
Another source told the publication: “No decisions have been made yet on Soccer Saturday and discussions are ongoing.”
Jeff confirmed last weekend his final ‘Soccer Saturday’ episode will be on May 28th, and his announcement was greeted by applause from the pundits on the panel.
He later said in a statement: “I’ve been at Sky for more than 30 years and loved every moment of my time as part of the Soccer Saturday team.
“It is now the right time to move on and give Sky Sports viewers a break from my relentless rants, bad gags and over the top celebrations of Hartlepool United goals. It’s been a lot of fun – for me at least.”
Sky Sports’ director of football Gary Hughes said: “Jeff has been synonymous with Saturday afternoon football for decades, exciting and enthusing football fans everywhere.
“His unique broadcasting ability and passion for the game has made ‘Soccer Saturday’ an unmissable fixture for fans and has won him a multitude of awards.”
Jeff had announced in October 2021 he would be leaving the show, but later agreed to stay on for the 2022/23 season.

Jack Fincham manifested Love Island win

OHMYGOSSIP — Jack Fincham manifested his ‘Love Island’ win.
The former ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ star stormed to victory on the ITV2 dating show in 2018 alongside his now ex-girlfriend Dani Dyer – who is the daughter of the ex ‘EastEnders’ star Danny Dyer – but it wasn’t all down to the public vote, as he had pictured his success from the beginning of the series.
During the series, Jack kept a note in his wallet that read: “I Jack Fincham am going to win Love Island 2018.”
Speaking from Robert Hisee’s Holistic Retreat in Marbella, the 31-year-old reality TV star said: “I had the note in my wallet so it was with me every day.
“I used to say to myself day in day out when I went into ‘Love Island’ I knew I was going to win it but after the win, I never had another goal to move onto to raise my standards.”
But now, Jack’s new dream is to become “one of the biggest actors in the UK” following his cinematic debut in the crime flick ‘The Last Heist’ in 2022.
He said: “One of my goals is to become an actor, so a new affirmation of mine is saying, ‘I am one of the biggest actors in the UK.’ ”
Jack also gushed about how the top Unconscious Mind Therapist gave him guidance on how to focus on the future, with techniques like visualisation and journaling.
He said: “I understand why I feel stuck and why I feel that I can’t move forwards, because I’m always looking back on my past, but Rob taught me how to change my direction of thought to focus into the future, creating visualisation for my goals.
“I started using a journal on a daily basis, practising the visualisation of the outcome of my goals. Rob said when you focus on the past, it does not give you any emotion to want to move forward. You must focus on the future vision. You will always feel sad when focusing on the past.”
