Rita Ora to enter Love Island villa – but she won’t be cracking on

OHMYGOSSIP — Rita Ora is to enter the ‘Love Island’ villa on Tuesday night (18.07.23).
But the 32-year-old singer – who married film director Taika Waititi last year – won’t be looking for love in the ITV2 dating show’s famous villa.
‘Let You Love Me’ hitmaker Rita is appearing on the show to play a set for the Islanders, in which she will sing new single ‘Praising You’, in line with the release of her third studio album ‘You and I’.
The ‘Love Island’ contestants are said to have “absolutely lost it” when Rita performed for them.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Rita was a surprise performer for the couples and they absolutely lost it.
“She sang a medley of hits including her recent single Praising You and bosses found an all-new location in Majorca for her to perform in.”
Rita’s performance comes after Ne-Yo performed in the ‘Love Island’ villa earlier in the 10th series.
The ‘So Sick’ hitmaker put in a pulsating performance, but there was a twist.
After his set, he took the girls outside for a selfie, but a car pulled up with “Casa VIPs” written on the side.
Ne-Yo then told the ladies: “I have a surprise for you … that car right there.”
The girls then jumped in and headed to second villa Casa Amor, to meet six new lads.
Back in the main villa, the lads were stunned when they realised their ladies had left for Casa.
But they were soon joined by six ladies, including the return of previously dumped contestant Molly Marsh, who went on to reconcile with Zachariah Noble.
‘Love Island’ continues tonight at 9pm on Virgin Media Two and Virgin Media Player, proudly sponsored by Virgin Media Mobile.
The reality show can also be seen on ITV2.

‘You’re like a detective the whole time’: Cillian Murphy learnt lots making Oppenheimer

OHMYGOSSIP — Cillian Murphy went through a “constant learning process” during the making of ‘Oppenheimer’.
The 47-year-old actor stars as the titular character J. Robert Oppenheimer, the man behind the atomic bomb, in Christopher Nolan’s much-hyped blockbuster and had to work hard to get under the skin of his alter ego.
Speaking to Digital Spy, Cillian said: “It’s a constant learning process, a constant unravelling. You’re like a detective the whole time.
“Then you just kind of pass it over to Chris (Nolan) and he puts it together. But (Oppenheimer) was a particularly unknowable character, particularly kind of opaque, morally and everything.
“Chris always used this expression with me from the beginning, which was that he was kind of dancing between raindrops.”
Cillian has collaborated with the director for almost 20 years but was taken aback by the scale of his part in ‘Oppenheimer’.
The ’28 Days Later’ actor explained: “I’ve said yes to him from the beginning and will continue to say yes.
“But I didn’t know it was going to be this huge, ginormous, terrifying part. When it’s Chris, he’s a genius, and I don’t throw that word around, but I think it definitely qualifies.
“I love re-collaboration. It’s the richest thing when you’re in work because you develop the shorthand and this trust and this respect and shared taste. So I hope that myself and Chris have developed that over the years and it just means you go straight to the work, direct line to the work. There’s none of the fannying around.”

‘The one franchise that knows how to write storylines for women’: Rebecca Ferguson hails Mission: Impossible

OHMYGOSSIP — Rebecca Ferguson has hailed the ‘Mission: Impossible’ franchise for giving opportunities to women.
The 39-year-old actress reprises her role as MI6 agent Isla Faust in the latest movie in the franchise and is impressed by how director Christopher McQuarrie and leading man Tom Cruise provide material for actresses such as Vanessa Kirby, Hayley Atwell and herself.
Rebecca told IndieWire: “‘Mission’ is probably the one franchise that knows how to write storylines for women.
“They break things down; there’s not a lot of going into detail about what happened. You do not talk about it. There’s always reasons why arcs go a certain way. I control my own destiny (as Ilsa), there are reasons why things happen.”
The ‘Dune’ star does not attempt to copy Cruise by performing her own stunts but loves getting the chance to work with the movie icon in the action series.
She explained: “I tend to be running far behind, but I try. Tom is the movie. He represents ‘Mission’, everything that’s good, and thankfully nothing bad has come from it.
“You are offered a palette of knowledge: you learn it and do it and embrace it. You also can choose to say ‘no’. They will find a solution around it, you’re never forced to do it.”
Rebecca recalled how she was supported when she was unable to ride a powerful motorbike at the necessary speed for a scene in the movie.
She said: “It was a 760 Triumph, a big motorbike. I am very strong, but being on one of these on a road in England going fast – the trainer said I was going too slow. ‘I need to get off; it’s not safe. I don’t trust myself.’ No worries! They had other options: Jenny (Tinmouth), the best motorcycle bike rider in the world.”

Phil Tufnell is ‘looking after’ everything in the home as his wife recovers from a hip replacement

OHMYGOSSIP — Phil Tufnell has been “looking after” everything in the house, including doing the washing for the first time, while his wife Dawn recovers from a hip replacement.
The ex-England cricketer detailed how “brutal” the procedure has been on the 59-year-old fitness instructor, but reassured she is “on the mend”, and admitted he has “enjoyed” picking up his newfound domestic skills.
The 57-year-old star told the ‘Monday Mile’ podcast: “I’ve been looking after the Duchess. She had a hip replacement. And it sounds… ‘Oh, we’re just having a hip replacement’, but it really is quite brutal.
“The saws come out and the drills come out. Hammers and chisels and all sorts. But she’s on the mend, hopefully.
“I’ve learnt about a dark wash. I didn’t know what a dark wash was. You’ve got to get the temperatures right. It’s been a whole new world for me. I’ve quite enjoyed it in a funny sort of way.
“I’ve had to make three meals a day. Crikey. I haven’t had time to think about the dusting.
“I’ve been going to bed about half eight – absolutely shattered.”
Phil called Dawn “a wonderful woman”, and admitted she is owed a few favours since their 2005 wedding, because she has been “looking after” him for so much of their marriage.
He said: “Well, she’s a wonderful woman. She looks after me. I think she was owed me looking after her for a while.”
The ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ winner admitted he can “knock up” many meals – as long as they contain mince.
Phil said: “Chillies, spag bols… a thousand things with mince I can knock up.”

‘He sounds like a fantastic character’: Lesley Manville discovers Australian ancestors

OHMYGOSSIP — Lesley Manville is “bursting with pride” to find out she had a relative who was transported to Australia after leading a revolution.
The ‘Crown’ star was fascinated to find out her great-great-great grandfather Aaron Harding was transported to Australia after leading a revolution to protest poor pay and working conditions in the 1830 2,000-strong Swing Riots.
Lesley discovered on the BBC One genealogy series ‘Who Do You Think You Are’ – which will air on 27 July at 9pm – that he avoided being put to death by being sent Down Under.
According to the Daily Mirror newspaper, the 67-year-old actress says on the show: “I’m bursting with pride. He was this poor man not being properly paid. He sounds like such a fantastic character.”
Lesley was awash with sympathy for her ancestor – who was a widower with nine children relying on him – as he was often without “love” or “family” when he was sat on death row, but was taken off it when he became one of the 481 people sent to a penal colony in Australia.
She said: “He would have been without anyone that he knew. No love, no family.”
The BAFTA winner called it “extraordinary” to find out she had family in the country due to Aaron – who was pardoned in 1937 – meeting his new wife Alice and having two sons with her.
Lesley said: “Aaron had descendants! It’s bizarre to think I’ve got family here. It’s extraordinary.”
The ‘Mrs Harris Goes to Paris’ star – who has son Alfie, 35, with her ex husband Gary Oldman, 65 – was “so excited” to make her debut at the Proms on the first night last week.
Lesley said: “I absolutely adore the Proms and am so excited to be involved in the iconic First Night to narrate Sibelius’s Snöfrid with all its dramatic lyricism and tempestuous energy. The Proms is a brilliant festival, and I can’t wait to join in and kick off this summer’s celebrations!”

Tom Kerridge thought ‘heavy drinking’ was going to kill him

OHMYGOSSIP — Tom Kerridge thought “heavy drinking” was going to kill him.
The ‘Great British Menu’ judge – who went sober at 39 – has detailed how his pursuit for a Michelin star almost cost him “an extremely high price”, as he would rely on booze to cope with long, gruelling days in the kitchen.
The 49-year-old chef told the Daily Star newspaper: “My own ambition to become a top chef nearly came at an extremely high price.
“There were pressures I put on myself as a professional when I was trying to get my first Michelin star.
“I was doing 18-hour days. It was being released every night by massively heavy drinking. Every day.
“You need that release and mine was alcohol, and it was massive.
“I recognised the behaviour was massively unhealthy and if I hadn’t stopped, I doubt I would have made 50.”
Tom previously told how, for him, there is “no such thing as a glass of wine or a beer”, and that is why he needs to be totally teetotal.
He told the Daily Express newspaper: “There never was.”
The ‘Hidden World of Hospitality’ star quit drink after he hit his lifetime “amount of booze” limit.
Tom said: “The way I view it is that if you live to 75 years old, you’ve got that amount of booze that you can drink until you’re 75. I did by the age of 40.”
The star says drinking is “still” a huge part of his brand, despite his own personal abstinence.
He said: “It was massively a part of my life, and still is. I own pubs, I sell it and I’m passionate about people who make it. It’s not something that I know I can be a part of.
“Sometimes I feel that I’ve let myself down that I can’t enjoy a glass of wine on holiday, or a gin and tonic watching the sunset, or a beer with the boys at football.
“I just can’t do it because everything I do is quite excessive.”

Alan Halsall ‘in talks’ for I’m A Celebrity

OHMYGOSSIP — Alan Halsall is in talks for this year’s ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’.
The ‘Coronation Street’ star, 40, is said to be a target booking for the ITV1 reality show’s bosses, as he has a “ready-made fan base” from his 25-year stint on the cobbles bringing to life mechanic Tyrone Dobbs.
An insider told The Sun newspaper: “Tyrone is one of Corrie’s most-loved characters so Alan comes with a ready-made fan base.
“Sometimes soap actors who are known for their iconic roles don’t quite translate once in camp – Adam Woodyatt being one recent example.
“But Alan is a top lad with bags of personality so ITV are over the moon he’s in talks to join their 2023 cast.”
Alan – who previously split from ‘Hollyoaks’ star Lucy-Jo Hudson, 40, with who he has daughter Sienna-Rae, nine – is tipped to be this year’s “jungle shower surprise” on the series, which is hosted by Ant and Dec.
The source continued: “I’m A Celeb viewers love a jungle shower surprise and Alan is hiding a killer bod under Tyrone’s oil-streaked mechanic overalls.
“Alan might be 40 but he easily ticks the soap hunk box, too.”
However, a spokesperson said: “Any names suggested at this stage are speculation.”
Alan recently opened up about how his daughter is often “cheeky” about being surrounded by soap stars, as his girlfriend Tisha Merry, 30, also appeared in Weatherfield as Steph Britton.
He said: “My poor little girl’s have got it from every angle because I’m on ‘Corrie’ and her mum’s on ‘Hollyoaks’, and my girlfriend was on ‘Coronation Street’.
“She just thinks it’s normal. Now she’s nine she’s getting a bit cheeky with it. We’ll be walking round a shop and she goes, ‘Look Daddy! It’s you there on a magazine!’ ”

‘I thought we were losing him’: Lucy-Jo Hudson’s terrifying hospital dash with son Carter

OHMYGOSSIP — Lucy-Jo Hudson feared she was “losing” her three-year-old son when his mouth went blue and he started to “go all limp”.
The ‘Hollyoaks’ actress – who plays Donna-Marie Quinn in the Channel 4 soap – has told how she was in tears while rushing Carter, three, to hospital, and it was later discovered he has a nut allergy.
Lucy-Jo, 40, wrote on Instagram: “Sooooo this is something I’ve never really shared on here. I’ve read so many stories about other parents and their kids having allergies. My boy Carter has quite a few allergies including milk, and pet hair, but his main one is the worst one you read about which is a nut allergy.
“I’ve seen posts pop up on my feed recently and thought do you know what? Maybe it’s time I shared our story. Being a mum has its own worries and stresses but being a mum with a son that has a severe nut allergy can really cause a lot of anxiety!
“Carter was 18 months. He was in the trolley, eating snacks while I was getting tea with sienna, and he suddenly looked at me and I knew something was severely wrong!
“He went grey, his mouth went blue and he started to go all limp. He was struggling to catch his breath. God did my heart sink, I literally grabbed him out of the trolley, abandoned the shopping and sienna and I just ran to my car! I strapped him in his car seat (which was awful because at this point he was going in and out of consciousness and his skin was going all mottled, and I couldn’t hold him close as I had to drive to A E! It was 10 minutes but it felt like a lifetime, my poor sienna was crying in the back asking me if he was going to die I kept trying to reassure her he was fine but I couldn’t stop the tears, I honestly thought we were losing him! I kept talking to him, telling him to stay with us and he was trying god love him! I remember pulling up outside A E and I just ran into the hospital cradling carter with sienna by my side and screaming “he’s not breathing” . The nurses flew out of every door and took my baby out of my arms and took him straight into a private room…. After that it all felt like a blur…. Nurse after nurse came in, drs round him, oxygen mask on, adrenalin in his leg, honestly the room was full of nurses trying to bring him round! It was the most terrifying moment of my life!”
Lucy-Jo – who also has nine-year-old daughter Sienna with her ex-husband, ‘Coronation Street’ star Alan Halsall – has thanked hospital staff for saving Carter’s life, admitting she and her partner Lewis Devine are “forever grateful”.
She added: “Carters nut allergy is something we have to learn to live with… we read every label, tell every restaurant and we carry his Epi-pens everywhere we go.
“Thankyou to the amazing staff at Ormskirk Hospital for saving our boys life! We will be forever grateful”

‘She’s good friends with Pete’: Katie Price claims Holly Willoughby ‘doesn’t like her’

OHMYGOSSIP — Katie Price has claimed Holly Willoughby “doesn’t like [her]” because she is “good friends” with Peter Andre.
The 45-year-old model and singer Peter, 50, were married from 2005 to 2009, and Katie believes Holly is “Team Pete”.
When addressing a comment “Why does Holly Willoughby not like you?” on TikTok, Katie said: “Holly Willoughby? I think she’s good friends with Pete.
“That’s why she doesn’t like me, must be. A lot of people are, as they say, ‘Team Pete’. But who cares?
“I haven’t been married to the man for years.”
It comes after Katie once urged Holly to partake in some cake on live TV, and insisted she was “losing too much weight”.
Katie was appearing on ‘This Morning’ in December 2017 when the show linked to ‘Loose Women’ anchor Ruth Langsford to find out what was coming up on the lunchtime programme.
She said: “We have something interesting to try, Christmas cake with cheese.”
Katie then said: “I don’t really like Christmas cake, but I’ll try it.”
But she then added: “But Holly I think this is for you because you’re losing too much weight.”
Holly responded: “Thanks.”
Earlier this month, Katie insisted her “best wedding” was when she married Peter.
The ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ winner – who has been married three times – admitted the 2005 ceremony she shared with the ‘Mysterious Girl’ hitmaker, 50, was her “dream wedding” because it was an “extravagant” day with the perfect dress – a pink gown with a seven-metre train – and “proper bridesmaids”.
Speaking on her podcast ‘The Katie Price Show’, she explained: “The best wedding, I’d have to say the Pete one because it was extravagant. It was my dream wedding, my dream dress, and I felt it was done properly.”
Katie was married to Peter from 2005 until their divorce in 2009 and they became parents to two children together – 18-year-old son Junior and 16-year-old daughter Princess.
The reality star was later married to Alex Reid from 2010 to 2011 and she was wed to husband number three Kieran Hayler – the father of her nine-year-old son Jett and eight-year-old daughter Bunny – from 2013 until 2021.
Katie – who is also mum to son Harvey, 21, from a previous relationship – confessed she thought she would be with Peter “forever” and that’s why she made sure the wedding was so lavish.
She said: “I thought i’d be with him forever and it was proper, the families there, the proper bridesmaids, it was just done how you expect a wedding to be. It was all done properly.”

Kady and Ouzy dumped by their Love Island co-stars

OHMYGOSSIP — Four contestants have been dumped from the ‘Love Island’ villa.
Kady McDermott, Ouzy See, Amber Wise and Josh Brocklebank have all left the villa, following a brutal dumping on the reality show.
Kady and Ouzy’s exit was announced in unusual circumstances, with Whitney and Lochan – who were voted the show’s favourite couple by TV viewers – opting to send them home instead of Ella B and Mitch.
Maya Jama, the show’s host, explained to the Islanders: “The public have been voting for their favourite couple. We’re going to do things a little bit differently this time – you know we love a plot twist.”
Whitney and Lochan were initially delighted to have been voted the show’s favourite couple. But Maya, 28, then explained the plot twist to them.
She said: “I have some more news that might not be that great. The couples with the least amount of votes will be vulnerable and at risk of being dumped from the island tonight.”
Whitney and Lochan were then asked to choose which of the couples they wanted to save.
Kady and Ouzy were subsequently announced as the unlucky couple – but they were both philosophical about their early exit from the villa.
Asked how she felt about the decision, Kady replied: “I’m fine with it because I know we have a connection and we’re going to carry on on the outside.”
Ouzy added: “I’m glad that I’m getting the chance to leave with her, rather than leaving alone.”
Earlier in the show, Amber and Josh were dumped from the villa, with Maya revealing that they were the couple with the fewest public votes.
Despite this, Amber insisted she “wasn’t too sad to be leaving”.
She added: “I feel like I’ve made some really great friendships in here and I’ve enjoyed the experience.”

Emotional rollercoaster! Christine McGuinness gets ‘extremely hyper emotional’ if she’s ‘sad’ due to ADHD and autism

OHMYGOSSIP — Christine McGuinness gets “extremely hyper emotional” if she’s “sad” due to her ADHD and autism.
The TV personality, 45, was diagnosed with attention deficit disorder in 2021 and assessed as autistic aged 33, and she says it has led to her “understanding” herself.
She told ‘The Doctor Will Hear You Now’ podcast with host Dr Zoe Williams: “It’s quite common to get a double diagnosis when you’re autistic, you could potentially be autistic and ADHD, or autistic and dyspraxic, or dyslexic, it is quite common to get that double barrel.
“For me, I didn’t understand how I could be ADHD, because again, you Google or you see people, and you have this image of what you think ADHD is going to be like, and I didn’t fit in that bracket.
“I’m an inattentive ADHD, which is different to the typical hyperactive ADHD person that you might see and recognise more often. So, for me, when I’m inattentive, I can be quite distant, I live in my own little bubble.
“It goes quite naturally with my autism, it overlaps and it’s quite similar, but then I have moments where I am extremely hyperactive in my thoughts, in the creative side, in my feelings, in my emotions.
“I will be extremely hyper emotional if I’m sad: it can be the end of the world, to the point where I think, I can’t cope, I can’t do this anymore, even having suicidal thoughts.
“It can go that far, and that’s where the hyper side is for me. On the plus side, if I’m happy, it’s the best thing in the world, and nothing can ruin your day, and it can be from the tiniest little thing.”
Christine’s three children – twins Penelope and Leo, nine, and seven-year-old Felicity – are also autistic.
She has them with her ex-husband Paddy McGuinness, 49, to whom she was married for 11 years before they split in July 2022.
Christine added about the impact on her life of learning about her disorders: “From my own experience, it’s completely changed my life.
“I’m doing so much more now since my diagnosis. I understand myself so much more. I understand people in the world so much more than I ever did. I didn’t get it before.
“I stayed in, I was a recluse for almost eight years, I barely left the house. I wouldn’t be doing the events and the jobs and the stuff that I’m doing now if I did not have that diagnosis. So it is very, very important.”

New live-action ‘Masters of the Universe’ film ‘dead at Netflix’

OHMYGOSSIP — A new live-action movie based on ‘Masters of the Universe’ toys is reportedly “dead” at Netflix.
Insiders said that close to $30 million has already been spent on development costs for the movie, based on He-Man and a slew of other iconic figures by Barbie maker Mattel, but the streaming giant has decided to drop the project.
A spokesperson for Mattel confirmed to Variety the ‘Masters of the Universe’ film is no longer at Netflix, but did not provide any further comment.
A Netflix spokesperson had no comment.
The project’s torturous journey to the screen goes back to 2007, with studios Warner Bros. and Sony Pictures in talks over the project.
Dolph Lundgren previously played He-Man in a previous ‘Masters of the Universe’ film from 1987.
Variety added “five individuals with knowledge” of the film said it was dropped by Netflix “over budget concerns”.
The publication added the movie was due to be set on the planet Eternia and due to focus on the conflict between He-Man and his nemesis Skeletor.
Variety said insiders added it had a projected budget of more than $200 million, with cameras set to roll this February.
But last spring Netflix shed $50 billion in value after investors became concerned about the company’s subscriber losses and sources said the film was shelved.
Variety added: “A source familiar with Netflix said the stock drop was irrelevant to budget issues on ‘Masters,’ noting that Netflix’s content spend has been flat at $17 billion for two years, despite market fluctuation.”
The Nee brothers are said to have been lined up to direct the film, and an insider said Netflix and the filmmakers even considered shooting ‘Masters of the Universe’ and a proposed sequel simultaneously to cut expenses.

Cillian Murphy hails Oppenheimer co-star Florence Pugh for ‘powerful’ sex scenes

OHMYGOSSIP — Cillian Murphy has heaped praise on ‘Oppenheimer’ co-star Florence Pugh for her helping to make their sex scenes “so f***ing powerful”.
The movie features “prolonged full nudity” and sex scenes between J. Robert Oppenheimer (Cillian) – who spearheaded the development of the world’s first atomic bomb – and his lover Jean Tatlock (Florence).
And Cillian, 47, says his 27-year-old castmate managed to make quite a “devastating” impact in the few scenes she’s in.
He told The Sydney Morning Herald: “Those scenes were written deliberately.
“He knew that those scenes would get the movie the rating that it got. And I think when you see it, it’s so f***ing powerful. And they’re not gratuitous. They’re perfect. And Florence is just amazing.”
The ‘Peaky Blinders’ star went on to hail Florence’s acting as “f***ing phenomenal”.
He added: “I have loved Florence’s work since ‘Lady Macbeth’ [William Oldroyd’s 2016 period drama about a woman embittered by a loveless marriage] and I think she’s f***ing phenomenal.
“She has this presence as a person and on-screen that is staggering. The impact she has [in ‘Oppenheimer’] for the size of the role, it’s quite devastating.”
Director Christopher Nolan says the sex scenes – the first he’s filmed in his career – were vital as Oppenheimer’s “very intense relationship” with Jean, who is a Communist, and his “way with women” is a huge part of his story.
He explained to Insider: “Well, when you look at Oppenheimer’s life and you look at his story, that aspect of his life, the aspect of his sexuality, his way with women, the charm that he exuded, it’s an essential part of his story. His very intense relationship with Jean Tatlock, played by Florence Pugh, is one of the most important things in his life. But not least for the fact that Jean Tatlock was very explicitly a Communist and his obsession with her therefore had enormous ramifications for his later life and his ultimate fate. So it felt very important to understand their relationship and to really see inside it and understand what made it tick without being coy or allusive about it, but to try to be intimate, to try and be in there with him and fully understand the relationship that was so important to him.”

Made in Chelsea’s Ollie and Gareth Locke quit show for own YouTube series

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Made in Chelsea’ couple Ollie and Gareth Locke have quit the E4 show for their new YouTube series.
The couple are expecting twins, a boy, and a girl, via surrogate and have decided to depart the reality show for their online series ‘Our Daddy Diaries’, which documents their journey to fatherhood.
Alongside a teaser clip, the couple wrote on Instagram: “WE HAVE OUR OWN SHOW!!! We are sooo excited to finally be allowed to tell you that we have our own show following us and our baby twins as we start this huge new adventure becoming dads! We will be followed everywhere and give you an all access pass into our lives becoming parents! Exclusively on YouTube with weekly episodes and with some videos already on the channel. (sic)”
Gareth insists the pair have “outgrown” ‘Made in Chelsea’ and they wanted “control” over their output and vowed to “share absolutely everything” with their followers.
He told The Sun: “Made in Chelsea is about young people making up and breaking up. We’re very much the dads of it all.
“It came the time for something new and for us to have something we have control over. We’re part of the production of our new show and we’ll get to share absolutely everything with our fans.
“With the kids coming along it’s a completely different path we’re taking. We’ve outgrown Chelsea in that respect.”
Ollie, 36, added: “Our new show is an unadulterated, no holds barred access into our lives. It’s going to be the real us. You’ll see a lot more of our personalities than you have in Chelsea – a lot more us, a lot more real.
“It’s something completely new and completely different. It’s very high-end, unlike any other reality show.”
Gareth says they have made their own version of ‘The Kardashians’.
He said: “We wanted to share our journey of becoming dads and this is a way we can break the fourth wall.
It’s not a static set, so that’s the most exciting bit.
“There are bits that we won’t know what’s going to happen. It’s much more like ‘The Kardashians’. We’ll do their sit-down interviews to the camera to explain stuff, unlike in ‘Made in Chelsea’.”
The pair still have a good relationship with the E4 programme’s producers and haven’t ruled out a return to ‘Made in Chelsea’ in the future.
He added: “The producers have been great with us.
“They’ve said there will always be a place for us, but we’re now just exploring new things. We want to share with our fans a side of us they won’t have been able to see on Made in Chelsea.”

Ellie Leach ‘set for Strictly Come Dancing’ after breakup and Coronation Street exit

OHMYGOSSIP — Ellie Leach has reportedly signed up for ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The former ‘Coronation Street’ star – who played Faye Windass on the cobbles for 12 years until her final scenes ended in May – is also said to have split from her boyfriend Reagan Pettman recently after five years together, and it’s thought the BBC Latin and ballroom could be coming at the right time.
An insider told The Sun newspaper’s TVBiz column: “This could be just the tonic for Ellie, who’s had some huge life changes this year and could do with something fresh to focus on.
“As well as splitting from Reagan she left ‘Corrie’, a show which she effectively grew up on as she joined the cast when she was just a child.
“It’s going to take some adjusting to, but ‘Strictly’ is part of opening up a new chapter for Ellie.”
Meanwhile, the competition will show viewers a new side to Ellie, who didn’t get the opportunity to “get glammed up” a lot on screen when she was on the ITV soap.
The source added: “The dance contest will also give her a chance to get glammed up in a way which she rarely did on the cobbles of Weatherfield as Faye was a comparatively frumpy character.
“The only time Ellie was seen dressed to the nines was when she was walking the red carpet at events as herself.”
Back in May, Ellie took to social media to pay tribute to her ‘Corrie’ character as she noted she will always be “eternally grateful” to have been on the show.
She wrote on Instagram: “Farewell Faye Windass and just like that, 12 years at @coronationstreet has come to end!! At 9 years old I could have never imagined how much this show would change my life.
“I have worked with some of the most incredible people and have learnt so much over the years that i will continue to hold onto for the rest of my life.
“Everyone says we’re like a family at corrie and we really are. From the cast, to the crew, make-up, costume, everyone infront of the camera and behind the cameras are what makes this show so special and i’m eternally grateful to have played a tiny part in that. (sic)”

This Morning and Loose Women axed this week amid schedule shake up

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘This Morning’ and ‘Loose Women’ are both being scrapped this week.
The two ITV daytime shows have both been removed from the schedule on Thursday (20.07.23) due to the Women’s FIFA World Cup.
‘This Morning’ – which is currently being hosted by Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary – usually runs from 10am until 12.30pm with ‘Loose Women’ airing for the next hour.
However, ITV is instead showing hosts Australia taking on Republic of Ireland at 11am, with coverage kicking off at 10:15am.
This means ‘Lorraine’ will air as planned from 9am to 10am.
