Samuel L. Jackson claims deleted A Time to Kill scene cost him Oscars glory

OHMYGOSSIP — Samuel L. Jackson believes a deleted scene from ‘A Time To Kill’ would have won him an Oscar.
The 74-year-old actor has never won an acting Academy Award during his storied movie career but lamented how a powerful scene from Joel Schumacher’s 1996 film -in which he plays a man on trial for killing two white men who abducted and raped his 10-year-old daughter – was cut, denying him an opportunity to claim a gong for Best Supporting Actor.
In an interview with Vulture, Samuel said: “In ‘A Time To Kill’, when I kill those guys, I kill them because my daughter needs to know that those guys are not on the planet anymore and they will never hurt her again – that I will do anything to protect her. That’s how I played that character throughout.
“And there were specific things we shot, things I did to make sure that she understood that, but in the editing process, they got taken out. And it looked like I killed those dudes and then planned every move to make sure that I was going to get away with it. When I saw it, I was sitting there like, ‘What the f***?'”
Samuel recalled how the cast and crew were moved to tears when he made a speech that did not make it into the movie.
The ‘Pulp Fiction’ star said: “But also the things they took out kept me from getting an Oscar. Really m************? You just took that s*** from me?
“My first day working on that film, I did a speech in a room with an actor and the whole f****** set was in tears when I finished. I was like, ‘Okay. I’m on the right page.’
“That s*** is not in the movie! And I know why it’s not. Because it wasn’t my movie, and they weren’t trying to make me a star.”

‘It feels like a minor miracle’: Greta Gerwig is gobsmacked to have made Barbie

OHMYGOSSIP — Greta Gerwig thinks it is a “minor miracle” that she was able to make ‘Barbie’.
The 39-year-old filmmaker has helmed the hotly-anticipated movie about the iconic toy doll but did not believe that studios would take a chance on making the “wild” flick, which features Margot Robbie in the lead role.
Greta told IndieWire: “I think it was definitely something where when we turned in the script, which was the wild, anarchic thing that it is, there was this general feeling of, no one will let us make this. Not Warner Bros., not Mattel, not anybody.
“I really put it down to Margot, who all the way along as a producer and as an actor, stood in front of it and said, ‘This is the one I want to make and let’s figure out how to make it.’ And they just, shockingly, went with it.”
The ‘Little Women’ director continued: “But I really, honestly, can’t believe that they let us make the movie. It feels like it’s some strange ripple in the universe that allowed this to slip through in the way that it did.
“And now that it exists, they’ve been totally behind it and just doing an incredible job on all fronts, but it feels like a minor miracle.”
Greta explained that she had to cut plenty of material from the picture but insists that all of the edits were made for the sake of the story.
She said: “There were definitely lots of things that didn’t end up in the final movie, because it would be five hours, which actually is too many baby angel heads.
“But I didn’t ever end up cutting anything because I was made to. Everything was in service of the story and the rhythm of the storytelling. I don’t think I ever had to cut something where I thought, ‘Oh, that’s been taken from me by my corporate friends.'”

The Islanders then all agree to send Sammy and Jess to the Hideaway for a night of fun.
In the Beach Hut, Sammy says: “I’ve got no words!”
He later makes a toast with Jess, saying: “Cheers to our ridiculous rollercoaster of a journey coming through stronger each time and making it to the Hideaway.”
Elsewhere, Whitney Adebayo and Ella Thomas continue to clash after several heated arguments in Thursday night’s (20.07.23) episode.
But in Friday’s episode, Zachariah Noble receives a text that reads: “Ella and Whitney. It’s time for you to head out for a one-to-one, please get ready to leave the Villa. #NothingLeftUnsaid #ItsGivingHarmony.”
The pair then head out to discuss their issues, and Ella says: “I feel like yesterday when I came to talk to you I was a bit hurt.
“I just wanted to explain that to you and for us to resolve it. But I felt like there were more things coming out from your side.”
Whitney replies: “If I could sit here and tell you that you’re not selfish, I would.”
Ella then says: “Let’s be real, this is all because of the challenge.”
Whitney adds: “This is why I say we’re not friends because if you think I’m the kind of girl that is going to use a challenge to talk to you to direct, wrong girl.
“If I’ve got something to say, I will tell you – I don’t need a challenge to sugarcoat things like yourself.”
But she later adds: “If I didn’t think it was true, I would take it back but Ella you are the most selfish person I’ve ever met in my life, it’s true.”
‘Love Island’ continues tonight at 9pm on Virgin Media Two and Virgin Media Player, proudly sponsored by Virgin Media Mobile.

Love Island All-Stars filming ‘to start in October’

OHMYGOSSIP — Filming on a ‘Love Island’ All-Stars series is expected to start in October.
Sophie Piper – who took part in the sixth series – Maura Higgins, who was part of the fifth series, and fellow former Islanders, Kem Cetinay and Scott Thomas have all been linked to the show, which will be filmed in a villa in Fiji, where ‘Love Island USA’ is set.
A source told The Sun Online: “Filming kicks off in Fiji in October – that’s where they film the US version of the show.
“Bosses are in talks with over 100 contestants from the US, UK and Australian versions of the show including a controversial UK winner and one of the most memorable girls from a legendary season.”
However, Maura recently insisted she won’t return to ‘Love Island’.
She told Goss.ie: “I can’t see myself ever doing that again, no. I’ve been asked, but I’ve said no.
“I just think, I’ve done it once, I’ve had my time on Love Island. I don’t really want to go back in time, I want to look to the future.”
Despite that, she did return to ‘Love Island’, of sorts, recently, after she landed a new job on ‘Love Island USA’, four years after she shot to fame on the UK version of the dating show.
Maura is the social ambassador for the Peacock show, keeping fans updated with all the behind-the-scenes gossip from the fifth season, which is hosted by Sarah Hyland and started earlier this week.
A post on the official ‘Love Island USA’ Instagram account reads: “This just in… @maurahiggins will be your social ambassador this season bringing (sneaking) you the BTS scoop all summer! #LoveIslandUSA (sic)”
Iain Stirling – who narrates both the UK and US shows – commented: “Welcome to the team.”

Chris Ramsey is family’s ‘lucky one’ after learning about ancestors

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Ramsey thinks he is the “lucky one” in his family, after learning about his ancestors.
During his stint on the BBC One celebrity genealogy show ‘Who Do You Think You Are?’, the 36-year-old comedian learned about a winning streak in his family that extended from the Georgian period to the World Wars – such as the story of his paternal great-grandfather who took part in the legendary Gallipoli mission in 1915 and was stabbed in the face by a bayonet and survived.
The star said while appearing on his upcoming episode: “I’ve got yet another lucky ancestor.
“I feel like I’m the really lucky one in this story because all of those people survived. You don’t think so far back that your existence is basically built on this massive imaginary house of cards. It’s fascinating, and I’ll thank them to the ends of the Earth.”
Chris also found out his relative was ruled out of fighting in the Battle of the Somme due to a bout of scabies, and the star – who has a podcast ‘S******, Married, Annoyed’ with his wife Rosie, 35, who he has sons Robin, six, and Rafe, two, with – described it as “family luck”.
What’s more, he discovered that when his relative returned he was captured in France and sent to a prisoner of war camp in Germany.
Recently, Chris and Rosie admitted to loving their work trips away from domestic life in their home in Newcastle.
In a joint interview in May, he told the Sun newspaper: “Honestly, it’s our best nights out. We don’t really have many nights out at all because we have so many nights away in London and on tour for work.
“We kind of save our childcare for this. So it’s like when you see that moment in a movie, they check into a hotel and the receptionist would
go, ‘Business or pleasure, sir?’ And they’d go, ‘Bit of both’. That’s basically our life.”

Nick Knowles reveals another ‘huge’ DIY SOS build for BBC Children In Need

OHMYGOSSIP — Nick Knowles says ‘DIY SOS’ has “another huge build” lined up for this year’s BBC Children In Need.
The ex ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ star is presenting a collaboration between his team and BBC Radio 2 for the upcoming ‘BBC Children in Need Big Build’ at Treetops Hospice in Risley, Derbyshire, that will feature some of the station’s biggest names like Scott Mills, 50.
The 60-year-old television personality said: “We have another huge build ahead of us in Derbyshire, which will provide a crucial space for children and their families who are going through some of the toughest times.
“If you have a trade, a skill, can spare some time to graft or can help us with materials then get in touch. It’ll be a blast.”
The children’s healthcare facility was “over the moon” after being visited by Nick and his team – which consists of Chris Frediani, Billy Byrne and Gabrielle Blackman – and the station.
Jules Kirk, Therapeutic Services Manager at the Treetops Hospice, said: “We are absolutely over the moon to have the DIY SOS and Radio 2 team come to Derbyshire to create a brand-new counselling and therapy centre within our grounds in Risley.
“Just like adults, children who have lost someone important can find themselves struggling with a powerful range of emotions which can affect their daily lives and relationships at home and school.
“Every year, we provide over 900 counselling sessions for local children, some as young as seven years old, who are struggling after the death of a loved one.
“Many of our young clients have experienced unexpected or traumatic bereavements including accidents, suicide and murder.
“Many children are also still feeling the effects of the pandemic, having a detrimental effect on their mental health and ability to cope after the death of a loved one.
“This will make an immeasurable difference to hundreds of children and their families in our local community.
“If there are any local tradespeople or businesses who can lend their time or donate materials to help build the new centre for us, please contact the ‘DIY SOS’ team.”

Love Island stars Ella Thomas and Whitney Adebayo clash over ‘selfish’ comment

OHMYGOSSIP — Ella Thomas and Whitney Adebayo have clashed once again on the latest episode of ‘Love Island’.
The model was recently branded “selfish” by Whitney, and the duo continued to clash after being invited to leave the villa for a one-on-one chat.
Earlier in the episode, Zach read out a text that said: “Ella and Whitney. It’s time for you to head out for a one-to-one, please get ready to leave the Villa. #NothingLeftUnsaid #ItsGivingHarmony. (sic)”
The duo then headed out of the villa and tried to thrash out their differences. However, the situation soon became tense once again.
Ella said: “I feel like yesterday when I came to talk to you, I was a bit hurt. I just wanted to explain that to you and for us to resolve it. But I felt like there were more things coming out from your side.”
Whitney then doubled down on her previous criticisms, calling her ‘Love Island’ co-star “selfish”.
She said: “If I could sit here and tell you that you’re not selfish, I would.
“This is why I say we’re not friends because if you think I’m the kind of girl that is going to use a challenge to talk to you to direct, wrong girl. If I’ve got something to say, I will tell you – I don’t need a challenge to sugar coat things like yourself.”
Whitney subsequently described her co-star as the “most selfish” person she’s ever met.
She explained: “If I didn’t think it was true, I would take it back … but Ella, you are the most selfish person I’ve ever met in my life. It’s true.”

‘It was terrifying!’ How Allan Hawco used his fears to shoot new horror movie Quicksand

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Allan Hawco used his fears to film ‘Quicksand.’
The 45-year-old actor is starring in the new Shudder film about a husband and wife who find themselves stuck in liquified soil but has had a fear of quicksand since childhood and used it to bring the story convincingly onto the screen.
He told DreadCentral: “Well, Indiana Jones certainly put the, you know, yeah, fair. But I grew up in a place called Newfoundland in Canada. Which is in the middle of the North Atlantic. It’s interesting that the type of quicksand up there, the more authentic quicksand, the one we’re playing with in this film, there are elements of that in Newfoundland when we call them a bog. And I did, as a kid, get stuck in a bog for a very long time.
“You use it, use it, use it. It was real, when you really think about it, I was just a kid, and it was just a little thing. And, you know, I wasn’t that far from home, but at the time it was terrifying.”
The ‘Jack Ryan’ star went on to add that the way in which the quicksand was created for the film was “interesting” but also described shooting conditions as “brutal” because it was filmed during the night.
He added: “It’s interesting. We had an incredible special effects team locally, and there was this ringer brought in from Cape Town. And he was really good friends with Nico, our producer, and came to work on the thing for a laugh. And they did an incredible job. It was really, really, really tough. Carolina and I were in that pit for very long, very many days. I think it was like nine days or more. But, you know, part of the fun of our job is doing weird things.
“And those conditions were pretty brutal. Cause it was all night shoots, and we were in the woods in Columbia. I like to consider myself a low-maintenance performer. I know that they felt like they needed actors who were gonna be able to just do the job and not be in any way precious about the surroundings. You just can’t in a circumstance like this. I know for a fact that was a factor.”
‘Quicksand’ is available to stream on Shudder now.

‘It was an amazing gift’: Vanessa Kirby’s Mission Impossible face-swap

OHMYGOSSIP — Vanessa Kirby relished the challenge of portraying Hayley Atwell’s character in ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One’.
The movie features a face-swap between Vanessa’s black-market arms dealer Alanna Mitsopolis, aka the White Widow and Hayley’s character Grace, a pickpocket, and Vanessa loved playing someone who was “totally out of control”.
She told Variety: “It was so much fun. It was the first time two women have got to do that.
“It was such an amazing gift — because I love Hayley — to channel her and get to play her for a bit, and to get to play somebody that was totally out of control. My character is usually so restrained and composed and in control; it was really, really fun to play someone a bit scrappier and a bit messier. I’m naturally more messy in real life, so I felt more at home in that sense.”
And, Hayley was impressed by Vanessa’s portrayal of her character.
She said: “There’s an echo gesture that she does: when I fall backwards on the tracks in the little Fiat 500, I sort of blow hair out of my face, [Vanessa] then does it as she comes out of the cabin as Grace playing the White Widow. She sees her brother there and she does it as well, and there’s a different kind of manic energy in her eyes. That’s all Vanessa studying me a little bit and having a great time. It is remarkable.”
Meanwhile, Rebecca Ferguson recently hailed the ‘Mission: Impossible’ franchise for giving opportunities to women.
Rebecca reprised her role as MI6 agent Isla Faust in the latest movie in the franchise and is impressed by how director Christopher McQuarrie and leading man Tom Cruise provide material for actresses such as Vanessa, Hayley and herself.
Rebecca told IndieWire: “‘Mission’ is probably the one franchise that knows how to write storylines for women.
“They break things down; there’s not a lot of going into detail about what happened. You do not talk about it. There’s always reasons why arcs go a certain way. I control my own destiny (as Ilsa), there are reasons why things happen.”

Amy Dowden reveals second cancer diagnosis

OHMYGOSSIP — Amy Dowden has been diagnosed with a second type of cancer.
The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ professional revealed her stage three breast cancer diagnosis in May and she underwent a mastectomy but revealed that she now will need additional chemo after more tumours were found in her body following her operation.
Amy, 32, explained during an Instagram Live chat with cancer charity CoppaFeel!: “For me, my journey, everything changed. I was originally going to have a lumpectomy, radiotherapy and hormone treatment.
“But then, after my MRI, they found another tumour so then it changed into a mastectomy and then, after my mastectomy, unfortunately, they found even more tumours.
“And my pathology wasn’t what they were expecting, and they found another type of cancer and then they told me I needed chemo – for me that was a massive blow.
“It wasn’t in the plan, originally – and I know the plan you can’t get fixated on.
“So, all of a sudden, then I realised, and you get scared, but the oncologist did say that with chemo I’ve got a really good chance of a cure.
“I was really scared and I didn’t want to do chemo but then for me straightaway it was my dancing, like, you can take away my boob but you can’t take my dancing away from me and that’s what I get really upset about.”
Amy is upset that she won’t be able to return to ‘Strictly’ this year but praised the BBC for taking care of her.
She said: “This year it means I’m not going to be able to dance with a celebrity on ‘Strictly’ but I’m in such regular contact with the team. The BBC have just been utterly incredible.
“We are just one big family and they’re going to be guided by me and there’s so many ways to be involved in the show.
‘”I’m just staying really positive and hopeful that I’m still going to be part of the show in some way and my aim is to continue dancing – the oncologist said to me movement is really, really good for people on chemo, it’s important. So that was encouraging.
“So I have struggled in accepting that I’ve gotta have chemo and what comes with it – the hair loss and everything else – but I’m determined to continue in a healthy way as much as I can.”
After the Instagram Live, Amy took to her Stories to thank fans for their support.
She wrote: “Just want to thank everyone for their love and support.
“I’ll tackle this next step the best I can and very blessed to have the love and support of my family and friends along with you guys, thank you!
“The rest of the year looked very different to what was planned but hopefully I’ll enter 2024 cancer free and I’ll never take anything for granted and promise to live life to the full!”

‘We’re like ships that pass in the night’: Rachel Riley on marriage to Pasha Kovalev

OHMYGOSSIP — Rachel Riley says she and husband Pasha Kovalev are like “ships that pass in the night”.
The 37-year-old ‘Countdown’ star admitted it can be difficult for her and Pasha, 43, to get time alone as they are so busy with their careers and their children – Maven, two, and Noa, 20 months – but she insisted that they are both willing to make sacrifices where they need to.
She told The Sun: “We have a rare date night because he’s going to be away for quite a long time.
“But when you first get together, if they’re away for three months and you’ve only been together a month, it’s a big deal.
“But when you’ve been together the best part of a decade and you can see a future of how ever many more decades that you get together, it kind of changes your perspective.
“He was choreographing a film in Romania recently for five weeks and he got back and straight into rehearsals.
“It’s been busy, it’s been different, but everything is always in flux. It would be nice, once I’m not feeding the baby and picking her up, maybe we could even have a night together but that feels like a million miles away at the moment.”
Date nights have become rare since the couple welcomed their children but Rachel is happy to miss a few nights out in order to spend time with the kids.
She explained: “We’re enjoying this phase of having little ones but then we know it’s not going to be forever.
“When the kids get old and move out, you’ve still got each other and we value that and we look forward to that when we can get back to that but also we don’t feel time constrained.”

Zendaya’s Challengers pushed to 2024

OHMYGOSSIP — The release date of Zendaya’s ‘Challengers’ has been pushed back to 2024.
Although the tennis drama – directed by Luca Guadagnino – was due to premiere at the Venice Film Festival, followed by a theatrical release on September 15, it has now been pushed back to April 26, 2024, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The move comes as SAG-AFTRA actors, including Zendaya, 26, are prevented from doing promotional work amid the ongoing strike.
One insider explained the move, telling THR: “How do you go to Venice without Zendaya supporting?”
Josh O’Connor and Mike Faist star in ‘Challengers’ alongside Zendaya.
‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ producer Amy Pascal is producing the project via her Pascal Pictures banner alongside Zendaya and Luca. The playwright Justin Kuritzkes has penned the script.
The movie is set in the world of professional tennis, in which player-turned-coach Tashi (Zendaya) has transformed her husband Art (Faist) into a Grand Slam champion.
Following a losing streak, Tashi enters Art into a Challenger event – the lowest pro tournament level – where he faces off against Patrick (O’Connor), Tashi’s former boyfriend and his former best friend.
‘Zendaya has starred in hit movies such as ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ and ‘Dune’ but insists that she is not following a strict career plan despite becoming one of the most sought-after stars in Hollywood.
She said: “I never really thought, ‘I have to do this by this time and I want to do this by that time.’ I just want to do the things that make me happy and bring me joy and fulfil me as an artist, as a person.
“So, I keep that loose, because if one day it turns into a completely different career path, then I would allow myself to do that. The idea of trying to direct in the future excites me.
“That’s why I’m on set so much. When I’m not in it, I’m right there trying to learn. I go around and I ask our crew members, ‘What are you doing today? Can you explain it to me?’ Because we’ve got some real vets in the game. So, the hope is that I’ll be able to, one day, make the things that I want to see.”

‘It was a fine line!’ Margot Robbie didn’t want to play Barbie as ‘vapid’

OHMYGOSSIP — Magot Robbie “definitely didn’t want” to play Barbie as vapid.
The 33-year-old actress stars as the iconic fashion doll in Greta Gerwig’s ‘Barbie and insisted that she wanted to stay away from the idea of playing a “ditzy” character as she reminded fans that the Mattel toy has had hundreds of her careers since her inception in 1959.
She told The AU Review: “I definitely didn’t want to portray Barbie as being vapid in any way. And the thing about our how our story is constructed is that, you know, Barbie can be anything. Barbie can be president. Barbie can be a Nobel Prize winner. You see all this stuff at the beginning of the movie that sets up how incredibly intelligent Barbie is. But at the same time, she hasn’t been exposed to so many concepts that she’s going to be exposed to in the real world. So it was a fine line between playing naivety without it coming across as unintelligent because I didn’t want her to seem ditzy. That’s just not interesting to play. It’s not interesting to watch either. And there are times in the movie where we lean into stereotypes.
“We literally call my Barbie “Stereotypical Barbie”, so we’re very much leaning into some stereotypes so that we can, in a way of being self aware, play up the comedy, (but) also have a deeper conversation about some sort of issue. But then there are other times where you’re like, Okay, if we play up that particular stereotype, it’s going to be boring for people for the hour and 40 minutes that they’re watching this movie. So yeah, it was an interesting challenge to find how do we portray the fact that she hasn’t been exposed to certain things that she’s going to learn along the way, but it doesn’t mean that she’s not intelligent.”
The ‘Wolf of Wall Street’ star – who appears alongside Ryan Gosling as Ken, whilst other A-listers like Dua Lipa, Nicola Coughlan and Kate McKinnon play other incarnations of Barbie – went on to add that she was “aware” that a potential movie based on the doll was “floating around” and thought it was both “exciting and scary” when the project finally started to get going.
“I was aware that the Barbie IP was floating around. It had kind of gotten up and running and hadn’t come to full fruition. So we’d been keeping tabs on the property, and when there seemed like there was an opening we kind of jumped at the opportunity. We sat down with the Mattel CEO (about) five years ago and kind of pitched what we, as a production company, would want to do with a Barbie movie. And I knew even at that time that I would want to do it with someone like Greta Gerwig. She was the dream writer and director for it. I didn’t know if she was gonna say yes to it, but there were very few people in my mind that I’d want to make a Barbie movie with (with) Greta being the top of the list.
“But the reason we went after the property, I think, is because it seemed like a very big and exciting and scary opportunity. The (Barbie) word itself is globally recognised. And not only that, people have very strong feelings about Barbie in a lot of cases. So it felt like a really exciting place to start a film, you know, start that thing with the audience where they already feel a certain way. But, at the very least, they have associated childhood memories with it. It just seemed like we could do something special with it.”
‘Barbie’ is in cinemas now.

Chris Taylor’s Barbie invite from Margot Robbie

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Taylor landed a role in ‘Barbie’ after discussing genitalia with Margot Robbie.
Margot, 33, is a huge ‘Love Island’ fan and offered former contestant Chris, 32, a part in her summer blockbuster after chatting to her about his friends’ micropenis.
He told OK! magazine: “‘So I basically went down the route of telling her about my mate who’s got a micropenis.
“So I informed her of that, and we had a little chat about micropenises, which was lovely and quite funny.
“And then I went on to tell her about my dad’s mate whose balls are so big, he can carry 12 bottles of Budweiser on his ball sack like a tray.
“So I basically just pulled out the big guns, I thought I’ve got to make an impression and that’s what came out of my mouth… unfortunately.”
Chris’ conversation was clearly memorable as Margot later reached out to him about a part in the film.
This led to him being on set with Ryan Gosling, Ncuti Gatwa and Ben Kingsley, who all play different versions of Ken.
Speaking to Cosmopolitan UK, Chris praised Ncuti for making him feel comfortable on set.
He said: “I met him when I did my fitting and I was really surprised he knew who I was. He’d watched ‘Love Island’ and said really nice things, including that I should have won.
“He was just super easy to get on with, made me feel really at home and comfortable, because he knew I’m not an actor and was going to be nervous, so he came over and spoke to me a few times.”

‘It’s not a fly on the wall Richard and Judy show’: Chloe Madeley insists reality TV show won’t focus on famous parents

OHMYGOSSIP — Chloe Madeley was surprised at how eager her parents were about appearing in her new reality TV show.
The 36-year-old personal trainer will welcome cameras into her life for the four-part series ‘Chloe Madeley A Family Affair’ but insisted that, despite their enthusiasm, her TV star parents Richard Madeley and Judy Finnegan, won’t be taking over.
Chloe – who has daughter Bodhi with husband James Haskell – told The Sun: “Mum and dad are the best, Bodhi is their fourth grandchild, they have a fifth on the way, due in October.
“They are amazing grandparents. I expected to be like ‘no, I don’t want to do a TV show with you, thank you very much’. But they were like ‘yeah, it sounds like fun, we’ll be the odd scene’.
“It’s not called ‘At Home With The Madeley’s’. It’s called ‘ Madeley A Family Affair’. I think that was a working title for the press release and I think that got a bit misconstrued in it being a Richard and Judy reality show, it’s not.
“They are in two scenes, a Father’s Day lunch and the cameras came out to the South of France to visit mum and dad for my birthday and they filmed us having a nice lunch there.
“It’s very authentic, we’ve definitely had some big boozy lunches on camera, more than once.
“They are just here when it’s appropriate but it’s certainly not a fly on the wall Richard and Judy show, no.”
Chloe also revealed the show will be very honest and even feature arguments between her and James.
She said: “I’m like my dad. I don’t have a filter, I wear my heart on my sleeve.
“You can see it on my face when I’m p***** off about something, I can’t hide it. I hate to say this as it makes me sound like a d*** but I’m a very authentic person, what you see, is what you get person.
“So it was a bit worrying when I realised James and I had our first spat on camera, I was like ‘oh god, this is going to be awful’. But actually I think its fine and we’re all human, we all have good days and bad days, good moments, bad moments.
“It is what it is, I said yes to it, so you just have to go with it.”

Christopher Nolan wanted to make Oppenheimer when he was a teenager

OHMYGOSSIP — Christopher Nolan has wanted to make ‘Oppenheimer’ since he was a teenager.
The 52-year-old director is at the helm of the nuclear biopic that stars Cillian Murphy as the man responsible for the research and design of an atomic bomb during World War II and explained that the life of the historic scientist had been “on his radar” for decades before eventually bringing it to the big screen.
He told The Bulletin: “It’s something that’s been on my radar for a number of years. I was a teenager in the ‘80s, the early ‘80s in England. It was the peak of CND, Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, the Greenham Common [protest]; the threat of nuclear war was when I was 12, 13, 14—it was the biggest fear we all had. I think I first encountered Oppenheimer in that relation; I think he was referred to in Sting’s song about the Russians that came out then and talks about Oppenheimer’s “deadly toys.” He was part of the pop culture then, without us knowing a lot about him.”
The ‘Batman’ director went on to add that he eventually got hold of the necessary information and even put a reference to ‘Oppenheimer’ in one of his recent movies.
He added: “And at some point, in the intervening decades, I got ahold of the information, the fact that the scientists at Los Alamos at a point had determined there was a small statistical possibility that the Trinity test would ignite the atmosphere and destroy all life on Earth. They couldn’t mathematically, theoretically, completely eliminate that possibility; they went ahead anyway. And that struck me as the most dramatic situation in the history of the world, with any sort of possibility being an end to life on Earth. That’s a responsibility that nobody else in the history of the world had ever faced.
“I put a reference to that in my last film, Tenet; there’s dialogue, a reference to that exact situation by Oppenheimer. That film deals with a science-fiction extrapolation of that notion: Can you put the toothpaste back in the tube? The danger of knowledge, once knowledge is unveiled—once it’s known, once it’s fact—you can’t wind the clock back and put that away.”
‘Oppenheimer’ is in cinemas now.
