OHMYGOSSIP — Phillip Schofield won’t be replaced on ‘This Morning’.
Instead of hiring a permanent co-host for Holly Willoughby, ITV bosses have decided to continue with a series of co-presenters including Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle, along with Dermot O’Leary and Alison Hammond who host on Fridays and holidays.
A source told MailOnline: “The idea of finding the next Phil to sit next to Holly has been disregarded by ‘This Morning’s bosses. It will be Holly along with whichever rotating presenter is selected to join her. It will essentially be Holly’s show.
“Bosses hope that they can put all of the Schofield scandal behind them and start concentrating on the content of the show rather than the twosome presenting it. At least this way there won’t be any falling out.
“Holly is so excited about the plan, she loves Josie, Craig, Alison and Dermot. It’s a happy ship and she made the decision not to quit but instead to return and keep things going while being at the helm. Holly is absolutely determined to head up the challenge to make the show a success again.”
Holly is set to sign a new contract for the show when she returns from her summer holidays.
Phillip left the show after it was revealed that he had lied to show bosses, Holly and reporters about his relationship with a younger co-star.
Speaking to The Sun, he previously said: “I’ve lost my best friend. I let [Holly] down. I let that entire show down. I let the viewers down. Holly did not know and she was one of the first texts that I sent, to say: ‘I am so, so sorry that I lied to you’.
“She didn’t reply and I understand why she didn’t reply as well. So, yeah, if anyone is in any way linking Holly to this, that is absolutely, wholly untrue.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury are engaged.
The ‘Love Island’ couple, who met on the ITV2 dating show four years ago, and welcomed baby daughter Bambi into the world together in January, took their relationship to the next level with a romantic proposal in Ibiza at the weekend.
Molly-Mae took to Instagram to share an emotional clip of the moment boxer Tommy, 24, got down on one knee while surrounded by roses with a breathtaking view of the ocean and cliffs.
The blonde beauty wowed in a white strapless jumpsuit as she walked towards her man, and who was holding their little girl, who matched her mum in a white dress. After passing over Bambi to her mother, Tommy popped the question and Molly-Mae beamed before the three of them shared a cuddle and a kiss.
She captioned the black-and-white video: “Forever. 23/07/23,” along with an engagement ring and crying emoji.
Molly-Mae recently departed her PrettyLittleThing creative director role to focus on motherhood.
The 24-year-old influencer walked away from the position after 22 months, to turn more of her attention to her Bambi, but she remains the fashion brand’s ambassador.
Molly-Mae – who was reportedly paid £400,000 a month for the role – confirmed the announcement on her YouTube channel, telling viewers: “A lot of people have been asking me about PLT creative director, how’s the role going, how’s everything going with PLT, and everything is going incredibly with PLT… I will forever have the most insane relationship with PLT… they are literally my family. I am still working with them and doing collections and edits, but I have actually decided to step down as my creative director role.
“Over the last few weeks, I have realised that I’m only going to get this time once with my first-born child and I’m only going to get Bambi being four months old once and I feel like I’ve had to rearrange my life a little bit and lose some commitments that I did have.
“Myself and PLT have decided collectively that as much as the creative director role was incredible and I have literally loved being the creative director of PLT more than anything it was such an amazing chapter for me it has naturally come to an end.
“I am a mum now and I never really gave myself a maternity leave and I got straight back into work instantly because my work is my phone and showing my life is my work. The last thing I would want to be is in a role that I can’t fulfil right this moment.
“There is no drama, there is absolutely no tea … nothing has gone on.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Tommy Fury flew one of Molly-Mae Hague’s favourite singers out to Ibiza to perform as he proposed.
The 24-year-old boxer asked Molly-Mae to marry him on Sunday (23.07.23), six months after they welcomed daughter Bambi together, and he arranged for Irish singer RuthAnne to sing her song ‘The Vow’ live during the proposal.
RuthAnne shared a picture of herself with the newly engaged couple on Instagram and wrote: “A pinch me moment! Congratulations @tommyfury @mollymae on your engagement I can’t believe I got to be there to sing your song #thevow live for this most amazing proposal (good planning Tommy).
“Molly had no idea and I know how much this song means to them wow the most stunning location I have ever sang it in. And for the most beautiful couple.
“I sang my heart out just for you today. So amazing to finally meet you in person and sing this song for you. This is why I write music and wow what a moment. #thevow.”
The song has special meaning for Molly-Mae and Tommy as it was played during the finale of their journey on ‘Love Island’ back in 2019.
RuthAnne took to her Instagram Stories to share her excitement and said: “Guys, I just sang ‘The Vow’ for Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague’s engagement. I have not been able to tell anyone, I have been sworn to secrecy, I have not told a soul.
“They’ve always been huge fans of the song and Molly-Mae has been DMing me about how much it means to them and how she would want it to be part of her wedding, engagement whatever.
“And Tommy did all of this, she had no idea. He did such an amazing job. He flew me here to sing ‘The Vow’ live for them as they got engaged. I have never sung ‘The Vow’ for an engagement before, I was trying not to cry.
“I am so happy I could be here and we did it and I am so happy.”

Six months after welcoming daughter Bambi, Tommy proposed to Molly-Mae in Ibiza on Sunday (23.07.23) and their close friends could not be happier.
Maura Higgins, who appeared on ‘Love Island’ with the couple, where they met in 2019, reposted their stunning engagement video on her Instagram with the caption “SCREEEEMING.”
‘Love Island’ host Maya Jama shared the news on ‘Aftersun’, saying: “I’ve got some breaking news, if you haven’t been on Instagram, Molly-Mae and Tommy have just got engaged, congratulations!
“See ‘Love Island’ works! They’ve got a baby, engagement, just happy ever after.”
She added on Instagram: “WE LOVE TO SEE IT! Congratulations you cuteys.”
‘Loose Women’ star Stacey Solomon commented: “Awww congratulations, so happy for you all”, while American singer Jordin Sparks said: “OMG YESSSS! Congratulations.”
Amber Gill, who won Molly and Tommy’s season of the show, said: “Congrats you two babes, always the cutest videos,” Gemma Collins added: “So happy for you congratulations” and Mrs Hinch gushed: “I can’t even such a beautiful family. Molly-Mae and Tommy both shared a beautiful black-and-white video of the proposal, where Tommy and Bambi surprised Molly on a picturesque cliffside in Ibiza.

OHMYGOSSIP — ITV has banned stars from appearing on rival BBC shows, except under very special circumstances.
The TV network will support its stars appearing on ITV reality TV shows but is less likely to approve its famous faces competing on shows like the BBC’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ as it is worried about the “impact on ITV’s ratings”.
According to paperwork obtained by The Sun newspaper: “All television appearances will also be subject to -consideration of ITV’s commercial interests, especially whether the show might compete against ITV’s programmes, impact on ITV’s ratings and therefore damage ITV’s commercial interests.
“As a general rule, we will support shows on ITV and productions from ITV Studios.
“For example, we’d say no to an artiste appearing on ‘Strictly’ but are likely to support an artiste appearing on ‘I’m A Celebrity’.
It is believed that the BBC has a similar rule in place regarding stars appearing on ITV’s ‘I’m A Celebrity . . . Get Me Out Of Here!’
An insider told The Sun: “Loyalty in TV doesn’t exist in quite the same way it used to and the golden handcuff contracts of old are few and far between.
“Reality shows are really the last battleground and channels obviously want to try to retain their viewers’ favourites for their own programme.
“We saw that last week with ITV winning over Josie Gibson.”
Recently, ‘This Morning’ star Josie was at the centre of a bidding war between ‘Strictly’ and ‘I’m A Celebrity’ but chose the ITV show.

OHMYGOSSIP — Graham Foster is set for a sensational return to ‘EastEnders’.
Almost 20 years after leaving the square, actor Alex McSweeney will be reprising his role as the evil baddie as he returns to reunite with his son Freddie Salter (Bobby Brazier), who was conceived after Graham’s rape of Little Mo Slater (Kacey Ainsworth).
The traumatic events led to the eventual breakdown of Mo’s marriage to Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) as she was determined to keep the baby, despite his protestations.
Speaking about returning to the soap, which he left in 2005, Alex , 56, told the Mirror newspaper: “I’m grateful to be asked to reprise the role of Graham as I thought it was important for Freddie to be given some answers about his dad.
“I thoroughly enjoyed working with the talented Bobby Brazier.”
Meanwhile, it has also been revealed that Patsy Kensit impressed BBC bosses so much in her brief role as Emma Harding – the long-lost mother of Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold) – that she has been asked to return.
An insider told the Mirror: “Patsy has been back in Albert Square filming on multiple occasions this month – so it seems fans have not seen the last of Emma.”
The 55-year-old actress previously gushed about how she had an “awesome experience” while filming the show with her on-screen daughter as she thanked everyone for “being kind and loving” to her while she was on set.
Patsy wrote on social media: “Cannot thank my amazing cast members [enough] for being so kind and loving to me.
“Big thank you to the BBC, the producers, writers, crew and the EastEnders family…Jamie and Danielle for making me laugh my a*** off everyday. I love you both… Emma Barton … so so many people.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sam Faiers claims she risked everything to launch her beauty brand in the US.
The 32-year-old reality TV star is set to break into the lucrative US market with Revive Collagen and revealed she put off buying a house to plunge her savings into launching her company.
Speaking to OK! magazine, Sam – who has children Paul, seven, Rosie, five and baby Edward with partner Paul Knightley – explained: “When we first decided to create the ingestible skincare brand, I put all my savings into it.
“We didn’t take any investment. It’s a huge risk, when you’ve got years of savings, and at the time we were renting in Surrey and searching to buy a house.
“That put me back from buying a house for a good year and a half. But the reason I did that is because I believed in it.
“I wanted it to be the crème de la crème of collagen. In my heart I knew I had something special. It’s like all of my dreams come true.”
Sam revealed the company was inspired by her own skincare issues.
She said: “I was so self-conscious, some days I didn’t want to even leave the house.
“I remember one Christmas I was in the Maldives and I was crying every day because I was so embarrassed – it was so bad and inflamed. I confided in Paul and was like, ‘I don’t want to leave the room’.
“Collagen was the only thing I tried that lead to me seeing improvement with my skin.
“Women contact us who have had severe psoriasis, rosacea, or eczema. These women are buying the product for their skin or hair or wrinkles and it’s completely cleared their skin conditions. This business is so rewarding because we help so many women.”
And, Sam will share all of the ups and downs in her new reality TV show.
She said: “The way I feel about this, is it’s more about inspiring young women to see that it’s possible to be a successful businesswoman.
“It’s filmed over such a long period of time so it’ll be interesting to see how the business is growing from where we started.”

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Love Island’ star Samie Elishi’s thyroid lump removal surgery has been postponed.
The 23-year-old reality star first shared the news of her cancer scare back in April, when she found a lump on her neck, but has revealed that the planned operation to remove the lump and biopsy it had to be postponed after she fell ill on a cruise.
Speaking in a YouTube video, she explained: “I didn’t realise how bad tonsillitis could be but I was on an IV drip on the cruise to try and get food and water in me because I couldn’t eat or drink.
“Then as soon as I landed I was meant to go to the Beyoncé concert with PrettyLittleThing which I’m absolutely gutted I couldn’t make but I had to land and go straight to the hospital.
“Me and my mum went straight to the hospital and got checked out because the antibiotics I got given on the cruise were wearing off so I had to be admitted into hospital here.
“So I was there almost over night and basically I didn’t know this but you can’t have surgery if you have an infection.
“My surgery was meant to be a couple of days later after the cruise, so it got postponed. Now it will be at the end of this month so it is quite soon now.”
Samie – who competed on the winter edition of ‘Love Island’, where she was coupled up with her now ex Tom Clare, 23 – also detailed how her online community had been helping her cope with the news by sharing each other’s cancer stories, which has reduced her “worry” about any potential scarring.
She said: “People have found lumps in their throat and went to get it checked out.
“People have been sending me photos of the scarring which has healed, because that’s what I was worried about but I’m not anymore. I just want it over and done with.
“So yeah, surgery is still going ahead. It just got postponed.”

OHMYGOSSIP — BBC newsreader George Alagiah has died.
The ‘BBC News at Six’ presenter passed away on Monday morning (24.07.23) at the age of 67 from cancer.
Alagiah had been diagnosed with stage four bowel cancer in 2014 and he underwent 17 rounds of chemotherapy to treat the disease. In October 2015 he announced that his treatment was over and returned to BBC One on November 10.
In 2017, the cancer returned and in 2020 the journalist revealed that it had spread to his lungs, liver and lymph nodes.
As his illness worsened, in October 2021, Alagiah made the decision to step down from his presenting duties.
His agent Mary Greenham confirmed his death in a statement, in which she sent her heartfelt condolences to his wife Frances Robathan and their two children, Adam and Matthew.
The statement read: “I am so terribly sorry to inform you that George Alagiah died peacefully today, surrounded by his family and loved ones.
“George fought until the bitter end but sadly that battle ended earlier today.
“George was deeply loved by everybody who knew him, whether it was a friend, a colleague or a member of the public. He simply was a wonderful human being.
“My thoughts are with Fran, the boys and his wider family.”
Following the news of Alagiah’s passing, BBC director general Tim Davie said: “Across the BBC, we are all incredibly sad to hear the news about George. We are thinking of his family at this time.
“George was one of the best and bravest journalists of his generation who reported fearlessly from across the world as well as presenting the news flawlessly.
“He was more than just an outstanding journalist, audiences could sense his kindness, empathy and wonderful humanity. He was loved by all and we will miss him enormously.”
The Sri Lanka-born journalist joined the BBC in 1989 and was a respected foreign correspondent, specialising in Africa, before moving to presenting.
As well as covering the civil wars in Somalia and Liberia and the genocide in Rwanda 20 years ago, Alagiah interviewed several important political figures during his journalism career, including history-making South African President Nelson Mandela, Archbishop Desmond Tutu and former Zimbabwean leader Robert Mugabe.
He was made an OBE in the 2008 New Year Honours.

OHMYGOSSIP — Tulisa Contostavlos can’t watch ‘Love Island’ due to her misophonia.
The N-Dubz star admitted that she can’t bear watching the ITV2 dating show hosted by Maya Jama because it makes her “feel physically sick” due to the rare disorder, which is described as “a decreased tolerance to certain sounds” and is also known as “sound rage”.
The 35-year-old singer told the Daily Star’s Wired Showbiz column: “I have something called misophonia, it’s a real thing and I didn’t realise what it was. When people eat with their mouth open or when I’m watching TV and I see people kiss, the noise makes me feel physically sick.”
Tulisa used to watch ‘Love Island’ with her pal but confessed it was like “torturing” herself so she stopped tuning in.
She said: “I love ‘Love Island’ but how many kisses go on in that show? I sit there with my mate and he’s like, ‘why are you torturing yourself?'”
Tulisa is not the only celebrity to suffer with misophonia, Kelly Osbourne previously revealed that she has a rare form of misophonia which means she hates certain sounds made by men when they eat.
Kelly previously admitted she was worried that her rare problem would prevent her from getting married because she especially dislikes the sounds that guys emit when they are eating.
Appearing as a guest panellist on UK TV show ‘Loose Women’ in 2018, she shared: “I have misophonia, it’s a phobia of mouth noises. I can’t handle it!”
Discussing how men with big mouths anger her the most when they’re munching on meals, she added: “I’ve walked up to people I don’t know and ripped the gum out of their mouth. It makes my knees buckle and makes me sweat. Don’t ask, it’s another tick on my box of insanities!
“I can’t handle it, it drives me nuts. I never want to get married, the way men chew annoys me, so much about them annoys me!”
