ITV Racing pundit Francesca Cumani is pregnant

OHMYGOSSIP — Francesca Cumani is pregnant.
The 40-year-old presenter – who is best known as a pundit for ITV Racing – already has two-year-old Teddy with boyfriend Max Johnson as well as five-year-old Harry with ex-husband and Australian polo professional Rob Archibald, but she took to social media to reveal she is now expecting again.
Francesca did not address the pregnancy directly in the post as she posed in a glittering blue dress at Goodwood Racecourse, but could be seen smiling as she cupped her growing bump.
She captioned the post: “Sunday Blues here, just blue white for @lkp_ct @goodwood_races for @itvracing”(sic)
Upon the birth of her first child, Francesca and her then-husband released a statement in which they told fans that “mum, son (and dad)” were “doing well” upon welcoming the new addition.
The TV star previously admitted that she had gone into marriage with her “best intentions” and thought it was going to “last forever” until life got in the way.
She told Tatler: “You go into marriage with the best intentions, thinking it’s going to be forever. Then life conspires against you and it’s not. Despite getting married in your thirties, you still change and grow. I made mistakes in the past, perhaps because I didn’t know my own mind and was too ruled by others.”
Francesca also admitted that while it had been “really stressful” to co-parent Harry with her ex-husband from across the other side of the world, it had been “really sweet” to take the little one back to where she had grown up in the Suffolk countryside.
She said: “Harry is a lot like me. It’s so sweet seeing him around the horses, nuzzling and talking to them. It’s like he is magnetically drawn to them.”

‘I never want to experience that again!’ Olympian Greg Rutherford suffers mystery rash

OHMYGOSSIP — Greg Rutherford had to be rushed to hospital after suffering a mystery allergic reaction.
The 36-year-old athlete – who represented Great Britain at the Olympics – suffered a “sudden” reaction to an unknown substance earlier this week and took to social media to update fans on the “horrible” experience.
He wrote on Instagram: “I suddenly had a massive allergic reaction to something (no idea what) and had to get Susie to rush me to hospital. Thankfully they pumped me with a load of stuff and calmed it down. But it was HORRIBLE. This rash was covering my entire body. I’m not home. A little [itchy] still, but nothing like earlier. I was trying to get my skin off it was so bad. I’m going to get some tests done to figure out what it was, as I NEVER want to experience that again.
“I was screaming at one point… So apologies for that too. (sic)”
Greg later gave fans a further update where he explained that he now just needs to figure out what caused the reaction in the first place and “wouldn’t wish” such a “horrific” ordeal on anyone.
He said: “I’m much better today. I still have itches on my skin but nothing like yesterday, which is great. I got some stronger antihistamines just in case it happens again. It’s now going to be a case of figuring out what it was and hopefully it will never happen again. It was horrific and I wouldn’t wish it anyone!”
The former ‘ Celebrity MasterChef’ winner – who has been in a relationship with Susie Verrill for over a decade and has Milo, eight, Rex, five and two-year-old Daphne with her – had to be driven to hospital on Sunday (06.08.23) when his partner arrived home to find him “screaming in pain” after the mystery condition left him suddenly “clawing” at his skin.
She wrote on Instagram: “Ran in the house, found @gregjrutherford there again, screaming. Acting like one of those people you see in videos where they’ve taken bath salts.
“He was clawing at his skin and just screaming. Repeatedly. He ran to our car and while I rang 999 again to say I’d have to take him.
“We had to run every red light and I had to focus on not crashing while he screamed and tried to grab the wheel. He was delirious and I looked like I was kidnapping him. I was on the phone to the 999 call handler
and the poor girl just kept saying ‘ok yeah he doesn’t sound good, please be safe but hurry’ and I was like ok well this is a nightmare because I’ve been driving like 3 months. It was AWFUL. I was just waiting for him to stop breathing while also trying not to crash (sic)”

How Star Wars boss Kathleen Kennedy found new use for rejected Kylo Ren costume

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Star Wars’ boss Kathleen Kennedy saved an old Kylo Ren costume for Captain Phasma.
The producer immediately loved the chrome outfit – which was first meant for Adam Driver’s alter ego before director JJ Abrams decided it wasn’t a good fit – and it went onto be worn by Gwendoline Christie’s Stormtrooper.
Speaking in Disney+ documentary ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens—Behind the Scenes’, Christie recalled: “I was talking to [costume designer] Michael Kaplan, who I’ve idolised since I watched ‘Blade Runner’, about how he came to the design of Captain Phasma.”
Kaplan said: “They did these beautiful illustrations of Kylo Ren in silver. JJ [Abrams] said, ‘I don’t see Kylo Ren in that way, but I love the idea.’
“Weeks went by, and Kathy [Kennedy] came in, and she said, ‘What is that?’ Pointing at the knight in shining armor she said, ‘That’s amazing.’
“She said, ‘That has to be in the movie.’ So that’s how Captain Phasma came to be.”
The 43-year-old actress’ character was killed off in ‘The Last Jedi’, but the First Order stormtrooper went on to appear in the animated series ‘Star Wars Resistance’ and even featured in a ‘Star Wars: Captain Phasma’ comic book tale, so Christie would be delighted if a possibility to reprise the role ever arose.
She told Empire magazine: “I haven’t read the comics but, I mean, it’s Star Wars! I would absolutely love that.
“There was a template for a character that people got really excited about. It would be smashing if they felt that it was worthwhile to explore, along with some fabulous action.”
She previously admitted she had dreamed of being in a ‘Star Wars’ film since she was just six years old.
She said: “I can remember the precise moment I was cast as Captain Phasma in ‘Star Wars’. It was an explosion of unbelievable joy. For a long time, I had campaigned to be in the franchise to anyone who would listen,
“It was an ambition motivated by one of my earliest memories, of when, aged six, I was placed in front of the flamboyant space opera.
“I marvelled at this fantasy world in a way I couldn’t yet articulate, with its misfits and droids and a woman who fought the enemy with intelligence, who was funny and refused to be shackled – the inimitable Princess Leia.”

‘I thought my kids would be left without a mum!’ Chloe Goodman worried she’d die during surgery

OHMYGOSSIP — Chloe Goodman worried she might die during corrective surgery.
The 30-year-old model – who has Isla, three, and 18-month-old Hudson with fiance Grant Hall – had liposuction abroad six years ago before going under the knife once again recently for corrective liposuction, to combat issues brought on by the skin mottling and fibrosis she was left with, but she feared her children would be left without a mother if it all went wrong.
She told OK! Magazine: “It’s the best decision I’ve made. But as a mum, you definitely have the fear of, ‘What if I don’t wake up? Am I putting myself through all of this for vanity?’ I might not wake up tomorrow and my kids won’t have a mum!”
However, the former ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ star wanted her kids to have a “confident” mother and explained that the mottling – blotchy red skin that occurs when too much fat has been removed – has been “corrected” as much as is possible.
Chloe is now “so grateful” to the plastic surgeons who worked on her.
She said: “The kids needed a happy, confident mum and I was miserable.
“They have corrected it [the mottling] as best as they can. I’m definitely not bothered about it as much now. Six years of my life hiding and editing my stuff so you couldn’t see it, and amazingly they were able to fix it. I am so grateful.
“I want to meet up with my friends who I haven’t seen in God knows how long and grab back a bit of independence again. I want to enjoy my family, my kids and my career but also still have that time for me!”

A Quiet Place prequel finished filming before Hollywood strikes

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘A Quiet Place: Day One’ wrapped filming before the Hollywood strikes.
Paramount has confirmed that a number of its films, including the ‘A Quiet Place’ prequel, were already finished before the ongoing walkouts by Writers Guild of America (WGA) and Screen Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA) union members for better pay and work conditions.
The movie is currently slated for release on March 8, 2024 release date. It’s not known if this date will change, but it’s looking positive.
Paramount Global CEO Bob Bakish told Variety: “With respect to our film slate, the good news is we have a significant number of films on which production is complete. That includes ‘Killers of the Flower Moon,’ ‘Bob Marley,’ John Krasinski’s ‘If,’ as well as ‘A Quiet Place: Day One,’ and ‘Dear Santa’ with Jack Black. We also have the ‘Mean Girls’ musical for Paramount+. Strikes do present some marketing challenges, something we’re working to assess with respect to our release strategy, but again, we’re well stocked. And you heard commentary on the CBS alternate schedule, that too draws from our global multi-platform asset base and is very strong.”
The horror stars Lupita Nyong’o, Joseph Quinn, Denis O’Hare and Alex Wolff.
Djimon Hounsou is returning as the Man on the Island.
The previous two movies in the series are set in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by blind monsters with ultra-sensitive hearing that leaves a family struggling to survive in silence.
And the upcoming prequel is set in New York when the Death Angel invasion begins. Nyong’o’s character will also be protecting her two children as she tries to survive the first days of the end of the world.
Michael Sarnoski is directing the flick from a script written by Jeff Nichols that is based on an original idea by John Krasinski. Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller will produce for Platinum Dunes alongside Krasinski for his Sunday Night banner.

David Harbour gives positive Violent Night 2 update

OHMYGOSSIP — David Harbour would “love” to play Santa Claus again in ‘Violent Night 2’.
The ‘Stranger Things’ actor played a very different Father Christmas in last year’s festive horror comedy, and a sequel had been in the works before the ongoing writers strike halted development.
Speaking to Collider – in an interview conducted before the subsequent SAG-AFTRA strike – Harbour said: “Before the writers’ strike there was, you know, maybe something that came in.
“We’ll have to see where it fits if they can resolve all these labour issues.
“If the studios would please go to the table and end these labour issues, we could shoot all kinds of things I’d love to give to the people! But yes, we’re in process.”
Earlier in the year, the film’s director Tommy Wirkola confirmed a sequel was going ahead, with Pat Casey and Josh Miller both returning to pen the script.
Wirkola told The Wrap: “We have time to really crack the script and figure out the story.
“And we have some ideas, me, Pat and Josh and the producers. We’ve been talking about where we want to take it and what we want to see.
“There is stuff we left on the floor like the North Pole, Mrs. Claus, the elves, but story-wise I think we have a really, really cool idea that expands on the world and scope, but still keeping that tone that we love from the first one.”
He added that the follow-up – which will see David Harbour return as Santa Claus – will definitely happen, and the team is currently “just making deals and getting everything in order”.
Meanwhile, Harbour previously admitted he “teared up” at the the script for the Christmas movie.
He said: “I thought that was really special, really unique. And when I read it in the script, it made me tear up at the end and I thought, ‘Wow, that’s special’.
“Because, a lot of scripts, it’s hard enough to get through them. This one I got through, and at the end in those scenes with him and her where he’s saying, ‘I better get going now,’ it made me tear up and I was like, ‘Oh, this could be really special if we get it right.’ ”

Talk To Me sequel is official with follow up to cult horror movie

OHMYGOSSIP — A ‘Talk To Me’ sequel is in the works.
Directors Danny and Michael Philippou are working on a follow up to this year’s cult horror flick, with Danny once again writing the script alongside Bill Hinzman.
Now, studio A24 has officially confirmed they are “summoning a sequel” titled ‘Talk 2 Me’.
The film follows Mia (Sophie Wilde) as she becomes connected to the supernatural after a seance involving an embalmed hand which is meant to connect people with spirits.
Providing users are connected to the hand for no longer than 90 seconds, they will experience a drug-like high – but there are dangers involved if they stay for too long.
The Australian movie also starred Alexandra Jensen as Jade, Joe Bird as Riley, Otis Dhanji as Daniel, Miranda Otto as Sue, Zoe Terakes as Hayley and Chris Alosio as Joss.
Danny had already teased a potential sequel, admitting that he had plenty of scenes left over.
He told Deadline: “Because I was writing it for so long and we were redrafting and redrafting, you just can’t help but start writing other scenes, scenes of different people experiencing the hands, continuing on these characters’ story.
“So, there’s scenes for a sequel, yeah.”
Meanwhile, the cold opening for the movie tells the story of brothers Cole and Duckett – played by Ari McCarthy and Sunny Jackson – as the latter is possessed and becomes increasingly violent.
The team already filmed a whole prequel based on their story, and they would love to put that out into the world one day.
Danny told The Hollywood Reporter: “We actually shot an entire Duckett prequel already.
“It’s told entirely through the perspective of mobile phones and social media, so maybe down the line we can release that.”

‘It’s so ironic’ Nick Owen opens up about having cancer at the same time as co-star Anne Diamond

OHMYGOSSIP — Nick Owen is being supported by Anne Diamond amid his cancer battle.
The 75-year-old broadcaster announced earlier this week that he had been diagnosed with “extensive and aggressive” prostate cancer just weeks after his former ‘TV-am’ co-host Anne, 68, revealed she was fighting breast cancer.
And he now thinks it is “fantastic” that they both have each other to lean on, years after they formed a successful partnership on-screen.
Speaking on ‘BBC Breakfast’, he said: “We have been cajoling each other. It is fantastic [to have one another at this time] but it’s just so ironic that she and I, who are forever associated as a partnership professionally, both have the quintessentially male and female cancer.”
Nick previously explained that while he initially wasn’t “too worried” about his checkup, his doctor urged him to have a scan, and he won’t forget the “killer date” he received his diagnosis.
Speaking on ‘BBC Midlands Today’: “I went to a specialist, he wasn’t too worried because my figures weren’t that high. But he decided I ought to have a scan and then the scan said there was something dodgy going on, and then he sent me for a biopsy which he did. And the results of that were the killer, on April the 13th, a date which will forever be imprinted on my mind. He told us that it was extensive really and aggressive, and I had prostate cancer full-on, and something needed to be done pretty fast.”
In recent years, former ‘Loose Women’ panellist Anne has been an anchor on GB News, but she has been absent from the channel for over six months and has undergone a double mastectomy.
Revealing her cancer diagnosis, she told the broadcaster: “I haven’t been on a world cruise. It’s been a fight against breast cancer. That’s what it’s been. It’s been a long journey. And five months later, I’m still not at the end of the journey, but I’m through it enough to come back to work.”

‘There is someone in my life!’ This Morning’s Josie Gibson confirms secret romance

OHMYGOSSIP — Josie Gibson is in the “early stages” of a relationship.
The 38-year-old TV star – who has four-year-old son Reggie with former partner Terry – has admitted there is someone special in her life, and even though the romance is just beginning, she has already dropped the L-bomb.
Speaking on tonight’s (09.08.23) episode of ‘Shopping With Keith Lemon’ on ITV2, she says: “There is someone in my life at the moment but it’s early stages.
“It’s that bit where you’ve got the flutters, can’t-wait-to see-them vibes – you get a little bit nervous. I’ve said ‘I love you’. It’s best to just get it out of the way, I don’t like playing games!”
The ‘This Morning’ host also explained she “never” gets any attention from the opposite sex and “hated” it when a ban on wolf-whistling came in.
She said: “I never ever get chatted up. Do you know what? I hated it when they started banning wolf-whistling. I used to love getting wolf- whistled at.”
Josie – who shot to fame when she won ‘Big Brother’ in 2011 – recently opened up about the “struggle” she goes through thinking about her little boy starting school.
She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “I’ll be honest with you, it’s not my favourite thing in the world. Because someone’s taking them off your hands – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.”
“And I’m used to having my Mondays with Reg – we spend Mondays together, we spend Fridays together so, to be fair, I struggled with that a little bit.
“He woke up the other day and he said, ‘Can we go to Mexico today Mummy?’
“And we’ve got a little globe we use and he puts a sticker on all the places he’s been.”
