“It is with a heavy heart that I write to inform you of our darling Aurelia’s passing. Our little girl went in peace surrounded by loved ones and in the loving embrace of her mother and I.
“In true Aurelia fashion, she left us not with a cry but with a big beautiful smile – frolicking fearlessly onto her next adventure. As we support her through to that next journey wherever that may be, her light continues to guide us through ours, shinning bright with her characteristic joy and love.

Our thanks and admiration for the contributions made here are boundless. Without them, the armies of doctors, nurses, healers, therapists, specialists and researchers that saw to her care would not have been possible.
“With the greatest of thanks and love, Charlotte Diego.”
Aurelia’s “celebration of life” was held on August 17.

Oti Mabuse pregnant

OHMYGOSSIP — Oti Mabuse is pregnant.
The former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ star and Marius Iepure are expecting their first child together and Oti made the announcement live on air during ITV’s ‘Oti Mabuse’s Breakfast Show’ on Saturday (26.08.23).
Oti, 33, was joined on the show by her 40-year-old dancer husband as he guided guests Marisha Wallace and Chizzy Akudolu through a dance routine before they announced they had been “holding in some good news”.
Oti said: “Speaking of things that you didn’t know at home, we have a little something for all of you, we’ve been holding some good news. We’re having a baby!”
Oti and Marius met in Germany during a dance trial and competed together in several competitions.
They tied the knot in 2014 and he moved to the UK with her when she was offered ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
Speaking previously to the Daily Mail’s Weekend magazine, she said: “I realise how lucky I was. Marius moved to England for me. He had to make many sacrifices for me, and he had his own goals.
“He’d be working in Iceland, Romania, Canada, but he would get back to spend the days I had off with me. Sometimes he would only be able to get back for a few hours, but he’d come to Blackpool just so he could cuddle me before a show.
“Whatever I want, Marius helps me get it. He helps me remember why I’m doing what I’m doing. He’ll say, ‘Think of where you started out. Think of how far you’ve come.’ He’s my biggest cheerleader.”

Tamzin Outhwaite drew on personal pain for The Tower

OHMYGOSSIP — Tamzin Outhwaite drew on the “pain and loss” from her own life while filming ‘The Tower’.
The 52-year-old actress has joined the gritty drama for its second series as recovering drug addict Cathy Teel and Tamzin says she used painful episodes from her own life to help her connect with her character.
She told The Daily Mail’s Weekend magazine: “There were emotional scenes that required me to go to places I don’t normally go to, but I could draw on my own life.
“I’ve had a lot of pain and endured a lot of loss, and with the human emotions involved in this drama I felt like my own life was the research.”
Tamzin’s trauma include her mother dying suddenly a few years ago and the public breakdown of her marriage to Tom Ellis in 2013.
Speaking about working on ‘The Tower’, she added: “One day I couldn’t understand why my body was aching, then I remembered that the previous day I’d slid down a wall and sobbed many times reacting to awful news. Basically my body was traumatised.”
And, co-star Tahirah Sharif, could relate to the domestic violence scenes.
She said: “Pretty much the same thing was happening next door to me.
“The dad was domestically violent in the way this guy is in The Tower. The woman didn’t want to press charges against her partner and it made me realise that it’s never quite as simple as it seems.”

Molly-Mae Hague ‘wasn’t sure I was ever going to feel happy again’ after giving birth

OHMYGOSSIP — Molly-Mae Hague feared she would “never feel happy again” after giving birth.
The 24-year-old ‘Love Island’ star welcomed her first child Bambi with fiancé Tommy Fury, also 24, seven months ago and revealed that adjusting to motherhood has been a struggle.
She shared on her YouTube channel: “I came across a video which literally nearly made me cry. I was home alone with Bambi and she was only a couple weeks old. She was literally screaming and crying, she had colic.
“I was trying to start vlogging again and I was really trying to rush myself back to chatting to you guys and being back present for you guys. I was just desperate to not fall off.’
“I think seeing that little video clip made me really reflect on how ridiculously far I’ve come and how genuinely as weird as it sounds I wasn’t sure I was ever going to feel happy again. That’s how hard I found the first few weeks.”
However, Molly-Mae reassured her fans that it does get easier and said she is happier than ever now after finally finding her feet.
She said: “I’d say only now am I really experiencing what I believed motherhood would look like and Bambi’s nearly seven months old.
“I don’t want to sound like a broken record as you know I have spoken about motherhood a lot and how I found it a lot harder than I thought I would but I just want to say to those others mums out there that have that young, newborn screaming baby and you’re finding it really, really hard.
“I know I’ve said it so many times but I just want to reiterate it, I promise you it gets so much easier.”

‘The more real it felt, the funnier it gets’: Josh Greenbaum used actual dog footage for Strays

OHMYGOSSIP — Josh Greenbaum incorporated footage of actual dogs into the making of ‘Strays’.
The director has helmed the new comedy movie that tells the story of abandoned pooch Reggie (voiced by Will Ferrell) and his attempts to get revenge on his abusive former owner Doug (Will Forte) and made sure that footage of real canines was heavily featured in the project.
Speaking to Collider, Josh said: “I would say 95 per cent of what you just watched is all real dogs, which was really important to me.
“Obviously, any time it was unsafe for a dog to do anything, it was like, ‘Alright, we’re gonna go full CG’, but for me, I really wanted to make sure at the start that you felt that you were watching real dogs.”
Josh feels that audiences are aware of the way dogs behave and opted against using CGI trickery for the flick – which also features the voices of Jamie Foxx and Isla Fisher.
He explained: “You could put an elephant up in a film, and I’d be like, ‘Yeah, that’s pretty good’, because I’m around an elephant for, like, five minutes a year at the zoo when I take my kids there, but I think for dogs, I know dogs, we all know dogs.
“We live with them, their behaviours and mannerisms, and I just wanted them to feel as real as possible because the more real it felt, the funnier it gets, right? You’re not being pulled out, I think, for adult audiences. Kids will just go with it.”
Josh also revealed that the writer Dan Perrault and the crew were constantly coming up with new jokes in the explicit comedy.
He said: “We just kept rewriting and trying to flush jokes and beat things. The set pieces that we had with the film we had decided before production, but the dialogue and the jokes within them we could keep working on.”

Alan Titchmarsh is ‘not the type’ for reality TV: ‘I’ve turned down Strictly six times!’

OHMYGOSSIP — Alan Titchmarsh is “not the type” to do reality TV.
The 74-year-old presenter is best known for fronting shows like ‘Ground Force’ and ‘Love Your Garden’ but admitted that he has turned down the chance to compete on ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!’ and ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ a number of times because he would rather be “doing something” practical on screen.
He told The Sunday Express S Magazine: “‘Strictly’ asked me again this year for the sixth time. My wife [Alison] taught dance and she said my knees won’t take the lifts and I think she’s quite right. So I stay clear of that one.
“I was asked to do ‘I’m A Celebrity’ last year and I turned that one down for about the third time, too. That’s not my bag, I’m not a reality TV type. I like to be doing something, like presenting, rather than people assassinating me for the fluff in my navel. I worry about the damage to the wildlife on that show!”
The former chat show host went on to add that he finds fronting ‘Love Your Garden’ – which sees him and David Domoney, Katie Rushworth and Frances Tophill help people transform their outdoor spaces – “difficult” because they have to think about what is best for the participants but admitted he has found “three very good mates” in his co-hosts.
He said: “I always find ‘Love Your Garden’ difficult. We always think about what would make the person who owns the garden happiest? What would suit them best so we can give them a piece of heaven? We work closely together so we absolutely care about one another – all four of us. We’ve been in it together from the beginning. We work together, we have supper in the evening together, and we’ve always made it our business to get on with one another. I’ve made three very good mates.”

‘He was born to bring her back!’ Jade Goody’s mum Jackiey on Bobby Brazier joining Strictly

OHMYGOSSIP — Jackiey Budden thinks Bobby Brazier was “born to bring” Jade Goody back.
The 20-year-old actor is the son of the late ‘Big Brother’ legend Jade – who died in 2009 at the age of 27 following a battle with cervical cancer – and her former partner Jeff Brazier, and now Jade’s mum Jackiey, 66, is looking forward to seeing her grandson on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ because it will be like watching her daughter all over again.
She told The Sun: “I was only allowed to talk about it when I saw it in The Sun. But I’m over the moon and he’s just stepped in his mum’s shoes — he’s in Jade’s trotters. He’s been born to bring Jade back as himself, because he’s the spit of Jade — he’s got his daddy’s head. It will be like watching her on telly.”
The former ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ star went on to add that Bobby is just like his ‘EastEnders’ character Freddie Slater and landed his part in the soap opera after asking her for advice, meaning that she ended up tuning into the BBC flagship for the first time in decades.
She said: “He has to get up at 5am for EastEnders sometimes, so he’s always on the go. We always text though which is lovely. He likes to keep an eye on his nana, just like Freddie does. He’d been doing his modelling for some time and he said, ‘Nan, do you think I can be an actor?’ I said, ‘I dunno, your mum did all that’. So I said, ‘Ring your agent’ and four days later he was in ‘EastEnders’.
“How mad is that? I hadn’t watched it for 40 years. I don’t miss an episode now.”
Bobby will join the likes of ‘Casualty’ star Nigel Harman, former ‘Coronation Street’ actress Ellie Leach as well as TV legend Les Dennis amongst a host of others on the Saturday night favorite and admitted upon the official announcement that he was “so excited” to be hitting the dancefloor when the competition returns to screens in September.
He said: “I’m so excited to be part of the ‘Strictly’ line up, I can’t wait to start training like a professional dancer and adding a few moves to my locker. I’m looking forward to performing in front of everyone, it’s going to be so much fun!”

Corrie’s Catherine Tyldesley cancels 40th birthday bash after Cakegate: ‘It was very upsetting!’

OHMYGOSSIP — Catherine Tyldesley has cancelled her 40th birthday bash.
The former ‘Coronation Street’ star had hired NVRLAND to organise her upcoming milestone birthday in September but was “blindsided” by the scandal known as Cakegate – which had seen the party-planning company ask the Three Little Birds Bakery in West Yokrshire to take payment “in the form of promotion” – but an insider has claimed that she has now decided to have a “quieter celebration” after the story went viral on social media.
A source told The Daily Mirror on Sunday newspaper: “Cath was blindsided by Cakegate and found the whole thing very upsetting so she’s decided on a quieter celebration. She doesn’t blame NVRLND, but the whole situation left a sour taste so she felt it best to call it off.”
The initial email claimed that the “well-known celebrity” was throwing the party on September 1 – which is actually the birthday of her husband Tom Pitfeild – so she needed an extra cake for her husband as well as 100 small ones but Catherine took to social media soon after the email went viral to deny having any knowledge of the order whatsoever, nor the supposed promotional deal with OK! Magazine.
Speaking in a video posted to Instagram, she she said: “Cake gate?! What? So, I had no idea those emails were being sent. I’m not working with the lovely OK! Magazine on anything that I am aware of. NVRLND are an amazing company, they’ve supplied with me performers in the past. ”
The former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ contestant – who has Alfie, seven, and Iris, 16 months, with Tom – went on to claim that the party planners had been “completely misrepresented” in the furor and signed off by telling manager Rebecca Severs that she “hoped” she got some publicity for her business as she sarcastically thanked her for causing the press to arrive at her house.
She added: “They’re insane and they’ve been completely misrepresented in this matter. Utterly bizarre, I don’t really know what to say. I mean, I hope the cake lady got the exposure she was craving, whilst I’ve got journalists knocking on my front door whilst my kids are playing in the front room. Dead nice, that, babes, thanks for coming!”
In her initial response email – which has been shared thousands of times on Facebook – Rebecca joked that she was “sorry” to hear that the celebrity client “had fallen on hard times” but claimed that she could not pay her mortgage with social media promotion.
She wrote: “I’m so sorry to hear that your client has fallen on such hard times they can’t afford to pay small businesses their products. Unfortunately as my mortgage provider doesn’t take payment “in the form of promotion on their socials, and my staff can’t feed their kids with exposure on Instagram, I’ll have to decline your very generous offer.”

David Ayer has ‘nothing to show’ for Fast and Furious success: ‘That’s not how business works!’

OHMYGOSSIP — David Ayer has “nothing to show” for his ‘Fast and Furious’ legacy.
The 55-year-old writer penned the screenplay for the first film in the now multi-billion dollar franchise but alleged that the narrative has been “hijacked” and fans of the movies believe that he played no part in its success, which is produced by main star Vin Diesel and has been written by a host of other screenwriters since its 2001 inception.
He told FlickeringMyth: “Biggest franchise in Hollywood, and I don’t have any of it. I got nothing to show for it, nothing, because of the way the business works. When I got that script, that s*** was set in New York; it was all Italian kids, right? I’m like, ‘Bro, I’m not going to take it unless I can set it in L.A. and make it look like the people I know in L.A., right?’ So then I started, like, writing in people of color, and writing in the street stuff, and writing in the culture, and no one knew s*** about street racing at the time. The narrative is I didn’t do s***, right? It’s like people hijack narratives, control narratives, create narratives to empower themselves, right?”
David – who is also behind the screenplays of hit films like ‘Suicide Squad’ and ‘Fury’ – went on to add that he has always been an “outsider” in the movie sector because he doesn’t go to the parties and that those who “control the narrative” have been “socialised” into it.
He said: “And because I was always an outsider and because, like, I don’t go to the f****** parties. I don’t go to the meals; I don’t do any of that stuff. The people that did were able to control and manage narratives because they’re socialised in that part of the problem. I was never socialised in that part of the problem, so I was always like the dark, creative dude, beware.”

Golda director reveals why Dame Helen Mirren was cast as Golda Meir despite not being Jewish

OHMYGOSSIP — Golda Meir’s grandson chose Dame Helen Mirren to play her on screen.
The 78-year-old actress stars as the late Israeli Prime Minister -who died in 1978 at the age of 80 – in the upcoming biopic ‘Golda’ but attracted controversy over the role because, unlike her character, she is not Jewish and now director Guy Nattiv has revealed she got the part because she reminded Guy Nattiv of his grandmother.
He told The Hollywood Reporter: “When I came to the project, Helen was already cast as Golda. Gideon Meir, Golda’s grandson, said to the producers, ‘I look at Helen, I see my grandmother.’ That’s who I want to play my grandmother.” When I came [on], they told me, you got the job why don’t you meet with Helen? She came to my house in the middle of the pandemic and we sat and talked for three hours.
“She told me that when she was 29, she toured [Israel] and went to the kibbutz and volunteered and fell in love with an Israeli man. They toured the country, they hitchhiked and they were staying there for three and a half months. She was more than just a visitor. When I spoke to her at my house, I felt that I’m speaking to my mom. I felt that she was someone from my tribe.
The moviemaker went on to hail Helen as one of the “best actresses” of modern times and mused that had Oscar-winning drama ‘CODA’ been made in the 1990s, it probably would not feature actors who are actually deaf whilst classics such as ‘Rain Man’ would also be cast diffrerently if done today even though Helen is the “perfect” choice to play Golda.
He added: “I felt that she was someone who understands the bits and pieces of what it means to be Jewish. So I felt that she’d be an amazing option to play Golda other than the fact that she’s one of the best actresses of our time in our time. I respect the discussion. I think that CODA 30 years ago would probably be cast differently. And when I see CODA with people with hearing difficulties, it makes it much more authentic. And I think that ‘Rain Man’ would probably not have Dustin Hoffman today or ‘Dallas Buyers’ Club would not have Jared Leto. So I’m open to that, but I personally thought that Helen is perfect for this to play Golda, especially after we got the blessing of the family.”

‘There’s no way I’m doing that!’ Vicky Pattison was told to ‘make guests cry’ on Loose Women

OHMYGOSSIP — Vicky Pattison was “pushed” to make guests cry on ‘Loose Women’.
The 35-year-old reality star was a panellist on the ITV lunchtime chat show in 2016 and claimed that during interview segments, producers would speak to her through her earpiece to encourage her to “push” guests on the verge of tears but refused to do so, although she has heard that things are done differently these days.
She is quoted by The Sunday People as saying: “I used to do ‘Loose Women’.. I remember getting voices in my ear saying: ‘She’s about to cry, push her on this…’ “Like when we were interviewing people and I just remember – if you ever see a clip of me on Loose Women, I bet you I’m shaking my head. “Because I’m physically like: ‘There’s no way I’m doing that, no way I’m doing that’. I’ve heard the team has absolutely changed behind the scenes.”
Meanwhile, a source has claimed that the ‘Geordie Shore’ legend – who has appeared as a guest on the show numerous times both before and after her stint as a regular panellist – remains a “huge fan” of ‘Loose Women’ and the management team has always offered a “safe space” for her to come into.
The insider said: “Vicky has always been a huge fan of ‘Loose Women’ and loves the whole ‘Loose Women’ family. She has been a guest many times and has loved each and every appearance on the show.
“They consistently offer a very welcoming and safe space for her.”
Vicky joined the chat show following her victory on 2015’s ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’ and served alongside long-time panellists like journalist Jane Moore, former ‘EastEnders’ actress Nadia Sawalha and singer Coleen Nolan but admitted upon quitting the series after just nine months that she felt “inadequate” sitting at the desk.
She told Bella Magazine: “Being offered the show was a huge achievement. Everyone’s so lovely, so professional, with a wealth of experience. It just highlighted my lack of experience and naivety. A lot of the topics they discussed on the show – marriage, divorce, hardcore feminism, kids – loads of housewives and women can relate to that, but I found myself coming up short quite a lot.
“I’m not going to do something I’m not good at. I felt inadequate, and I don’t want to feel like that. I want to give it 110 per cent. I’d love to go back, but at the moment, I’m happy as it is.

Shirley Ballas defends Strictly stars who have dance experience

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ head judge Shirley Ballas insists even stars with previous dance experience will find the Latin and ballroom routines challenging.
There was a backlash after it was revealed that this year’s contestant, Angela Scanlon, 39, has a job in dance across the pond and trained at O’Shea Irish Dance Company.
Actor Layton Williams, 28, has also danced in West End musicals, including ‘Everybody’s Talking About Jamie’ and ‘Billy Elliot’ and is a skilled ballet dancer.
Shirley told The Mirror: “If somebody goes to stage school for singing and acting, there’s always normally a little bit of dance included.”
The former Latin champion, 62, defended the pair partaking in the BBC One celebrity dance competition, explaining how it can vary from other forms of dance.
She added: “If you take a jazz dancer, they dance on their own, they do their thing, unless they’re in a group.
“You take ballroom dancing, you really have to learn to dance with a partner – that’s four arms, four legs, two heads, two quarters… you’ve got to be intertwined and working together.”
After it was revealed that she had joined the show, Angela insisted she has “never” danced ballroom in her life.
She said: “I’ve never done any of these dances in my life, bar a drunken jive at a family wedding. So, it certainly feels like there is room to learn and to really push myself.
“Look, I’m not particularly fit. I’ve no idea how my pelvic floor is going to react to that level of jumping.”

Joel Dommett to replaced by stand-in host at NTAs if wife goes into labour

OHMYGOSSIP — Joel Dommett will be replaced by a stand-in host at the National Television Awards if his wife Hannah Cooper goes into labour.
The couple are expecting their first child together and the baby’s due date falls uncomfortably close to the NTAs ceremony which Joel is due to host at the O2 Arena in London on September 5 – so show bosses have come up with a plan to make sure the glitzy event isn’t left without a presenter if Joel has to make a dash to hospital.
Joel told The Sun newspaper: “There is a contingency. They won’t tell me who the contingency is but the best thing is everybody is there – every presenter going.
“What I would do is just give a section to everyone – you know, just get Stephen Mulhern to do one, Holly Willoughby to do the next bit, get Bradley Walsh on  … ”
The current plan is for Hannah to attend the show to watch Joel perform his hosting duties, but the presenter is adamant they will be taking her hospital bag with them just in case.
He explained: “My wife is very pregnant … but there is a seat for Hannah at the O2 and we’ll just hope she is still there at the end of the evening. We’ll almost certainly take our hospital bag along, just in case.”
It comes after Joel admitted he’s feeling nervous about hosting the show even though it’s his third time doing it.
returning to host the National Television Awards this year for the third time and he tries to calm his nerves by reminding himself how silly it all is. He told He told The Daily Mail’s Weekend magazine: “I find it helpful to try to think of how ridiculous this job is: wearing a white tuxedo and handing out awards. It’s a privilege. It’s fun. It brings joy. But it’s also ridiculous. So don’t take yourself too seriously. “I try to simplify the situation. It’s easy to think, ‘Oh God, there’s 15,000 people here. There’s Ant and Dec and Ricky Gervais and Michael McIntyre in the front row looking at me.’ “It gets so crowded in your head it’s impossible to do the job, which is literally to just read. You’ve got a script and you’ve read it hundreds of times before.”

Denis Villeneuve’s ‘dream’ to make Dune 3

OHMYGOSSIP — Denis Villeneuve is hoping to be called back to make a third film in the ‘Dune’ franchise.
The director helmed the first installment – which was released in 2021 – and he returned to take charge of ‘Dune: Part Two’ which had been due to hit cinemas this year but has now been pushed back until March 2023.
However, Villeneuve is already looking to the future and he’s hoping for another crack at the films, which are based on the books by Frank Herbert. He told Empire magazine: “If I succeed in making a trilogy, that would be the dream.”
He added of Herbert’s second book in the series: “‘Dune Messiah’ was written in reaction to the fact that people perceived Paul Atreides [the character played by Timothee Chalamet in Villeneuve’s films] as a hero, which is not what [Herbert] wanted to do. My adaptation [of Dune] is closer to his idea that it’s actually a warning.”
A third part in the series has yet to be officially announced, but Villeneuve is convinced it’s going to happen, telling the magazine: “There are words on paper.”
However, he doesn’t like the idea of continuing the franchise beyond number three, adding: “After that the books become more … esoteric.”
The director previously opened up about the second film during an appearance at CinemaCon in April, insisting the movie doesn’t feel the same as the first. He explained: “Part One is more of a contemplative movie. Part Two is an action-packed, epic war movie. It is much more dense. We went to all new locations,” he said. “I didn’t want a feeling of repetition. It’s all new sets. Everything is new.”
‘Dune: Part Two’ had been schedule to land on November 3 but it’s been pushed back until March 15 amid the Hollywood actors strike. If the industrial action continues until November, it would have impacted the film’s promotion as the cast would have been unable to take part in any publicity events or interviews including red carpet premieres.

‘It was a really different approach’: Jake Schreier tells a new Marvel story with Thunderbolts

OHMYGOSSIP — Jake Schreier is looking forward to telling a fresh story with ‘Thunderbolts’.
The 41-year-old filmmaker is helming the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movie and is delighted to be putting his own imprint on the comic book genre with a tale from a “different perspective”.
Jake told Collider: “It was a really different approach and a new kind of story to tell. It is not a sequel. Yes, these characters have appeared before but it is a new story being told and a story I think with a very different perspective than people are expecting.
“That felt exciting and that felt like a real challenge to take on.”
The film – slated for release in December 2024 – follows a group of antiheroes as they are recruited by the government to go on missions and Jake discussed the challenge of combining a “personal” movie with something that will impress audiences across the world.
The ‘Beef’ director explained: “It’s about characters and whether there is something specific to those characters that brings them together and something that they’re going through that isn’t the most traditional superhero story to be told.
“We want to make a big universal movie that everyone can connect to but you can only do that by making something that feels personal and I think that’s what’s exciting about the project.”
Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan and Harrison Ford are all set to feature in ‘Thunderbolts’ and Jake confessed he would’ve been foolish to turn down the chance to work with such a star-studded cast.
He said: “What jumped out was that the cast is just incredible, how you could not be excited to work with that group of people.”

Maura Higgins’ bid for US fame

OHMYGOSSIP — Maura Higgins has signed up with Christine Quinn’s publicist in a bid to boost her profile in the United States.
The 32-year-old former ‘Love Island’ star is eager to secure more work in the US after landing a role as social media host for ‘Love Island USA’ and she has turned to former ‘Selling Sunset’ star Christine’s team to help her.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s TVBiz column: “Maura continues to make waves across the pond as the digital host for ‘Love Island USA’ and it’s come with huge demand and work opportunities Stateside.
“Maura is keen to follow in Christine’s footsteps by conquering the fashion world as well as becoming a regular face on US TV.
“Maura’s management from the UK were spotted taking meetings with American television executives and brands in Los Angeles earlier this year.
“Expanding Maura’s team is part of a carefully drawn out global strategy.”
Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that ‘Love Island’ bosses want to shake things up with the new All Stars series.
The ITV dating show will return this winter to the villa in Cape Town, South Africa with a host of fan favourite Islanders from previous series, and producers are keen to do all they can to get people tuning in.
An insider told The Sun newspaper’s TVBiz column: “‘Love Island’ bosses want to make sure they’re out of the ratings slump when winter rolls around for All Stars.
“They are working out ways to give the show a real kick and to make the format have a lasting impact on viewers.
“At the moment it’s all just an open discussion and there are lots of ideas being put forward.”
While the idea of having “old rivals” clashing once more, bosses are keen to embrace the chaos with “some fresh faces”.
The source added: “Naturally, there is potential for old rivals to have it out on screen and to put old love triangles back into play.
“But some fresh faces could bring a twist. Will old hands stick with who they coupled up with before, for maximum impact, or risk everything for someone they actually fancy?
“It would really test out that argument that people now just use Love Island for fame.”
