‘It was the worst experience of my life!’ Gareth Gates details Celebrity SAS WDW final interrogation

OHMYGOSSIP — Gareth Gates says the final interrogation on ‘Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins’ was the “worst experience” of his life.
The 39-year-old singer makes up one fifth of the five celebrity recruits remaining in the Channel 4 series, alongside former Health Secretary Matt Hancock, ex-‘Love Island’ star Teddy Soares, model Danielle Lloyd, and former Olympian Perri Shakes-Drayton.
In Sunday’s (05.11.23) finale, the quintet are subjected to punishing interrogation techniques, as they use a cover story to hide their true mission, over 14 hours, and Gareth admitted it was “torture”.
He said: “It was definitely the worst experience of my life.
“I haven’t ever felt pain like it. When you are held in those stress positions for hours, it’s torture.
“I’ve seen the show and I’ve watched it on the screen but you just aren’t able to understand the pain of holding those positions, which look so simple.
“Also, these noises that they put in your ears, you become extremely anxious.
“It isn’t just the coupling of the physical pain of the stress positions with the anxiousness. The sounds make you feel awful, it really is unbearable. It was really horrendous.”
Perri also described the interrogation, at the hands of an elite Hunter Force deep in the Vietnamese jungle, as “torture”, and Matt said it was “very unpleasant”.
The former ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ star said: “It was really one of the most difficult things I’ve ever done and a very unpleasant experience.
“The only way through it was to have the same attitude that I had during the whole course, to just keep sticking around for a few more minutes all the way through, even when the interrogators were trying to rile me.”
Danielle admitted it was “intense”, and she was physically and mentally exhausted throughout.
She said: “This was intense. The noises just literally f*** your head up.
“I’d not eaten, I was wet, it was cold. It was just so hard to try and stay awake and try and stay focused.
“You’re exhausted physically and you’re exhausted mentally as well.”
The ‘Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins’ finale airs on Sunday 5 November at 9pm. Viewers can stream or watch live on Channel 4.

Faye Winter in talks for Love Island All Stars

OHMYGOSSIP — Faye Winter is reportedly in “advanced talks” to join ‘Love Island All Stars’.
Despite the 28-year-old reality star sparking more than 24,000 Ofcom complaints over her row with her then-boyfriend Teddy Soares, also 28, on the ITV2 dating show in 2021, she has proven to be a “kind, genuine woman with a heart of gold” and has a huge loyal fanbase.
And producers are keen to have her return to the villa for the ‘All Stars’ edition of the dating show.
A source told The Sun: “Faye might have hit the headlines during her season of Love Island for all the wrong reasons but since then she’s proven herself to be a kind, genuine woman with a heart of gold.
“It’s become clear her outbursts in the villa came from insecurity and fear due to past hurt.
“She’s a Love Island legend with tons of fans so really deserves a place in the All Stars villa – it’s a great chance for her to show the public how far she has come.
“No one has been officially confirmed for All Stars yet but Faye is in advanced talks.”
Of the complaints, 24,763 were made following an episode in which Faye launched an expletive-filled outburst towards Teddy, after a clip in challenge Mad Movies showed him in Casa Amor telling Clarisse Juliette he was attracted to her.
Following her emotional explosion, Faye briefly ended her romance with Teddy.
After shouting at him several times throughout the episode, she finally said things are “done” between them.
She said: “Regardless of what was shown, what was said, I kind of … well, no actually it’s not … I know my worth, and for me, this is done.”
Teddy attempted to explain himself to Faye, but she insisted the senior financial consultant lied to her about keeping to himself while in Casa Amor – despite him spending every night outside with fellow faithful Islander Jake Cornish.
However, Faye later apologised to Teddy for her outburst and the pair reunited.
Faye continued dating Teddy for 18 months outside of the villa.
The influencer had to have therapy to deal with the backlash she faced on the show.
Speaking last year, she told The Sun newspaper: “I’m still in therapy and I think I’ll be doing it for a long time.
“I’ve always been very outspoken, I am myself, and if I need a bit of help along the way, then that’s OK.”

Victoria Pedretti and Alex Wolff cast in ‘dark and sexy’ thriller If She Burns

OHMYGOSSIP — Alex Wolff and Victoria Pedretti are set to star in a “dark and sexy” psychological thriller.
The ‘Hereditary’ actor is set to direct ‘If She Burns’ from his own screenplay with the ‘You’ star taking on the lead role alongside ‘Sex Education’ actor Asa Butterfield and Jurassic World’s Justice Smith.
The movie will see a fiery young woman played by Pedretti as she travels to Europe with her dysfunctional family following a traumatic incident.
She finds a blend of refuge and risk as she sparks an affair with her mysterious neighbour (Wolff), which simmers with family tensions and wildfires as they threaten to push the woman to breaking point.
Multi-talented Wolff is also writing and producing music for the film alongside Karl McComas-Reichl, with the project currently in pre-production.
The cast were attached before the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike, and filming is set to get underway in Italy next year.
In a statement, Wolff said: “I’m exhilarated to embark on a journey with such remarkable, brave actors like Victoria, Asa and Justice.
“What we put on screen will be daring, ferocious, tender, and honest. I’m honoured to be able to share it.”
Producers Jay Van Hoy and Andra Gordon added: “We’re excited to partner with Mister Smith and help bring Alex’s powerful vision to life with this wonderful cast.
“His evocative portrayal of a young woman contending with mounting internal and external pressure ramps up to a thrilling, poignant climax in a seamlessly heightened world where reality and perception are blurred.”
And Mister Smith Entertainment founder and CEO David Garrett promised an “unsettling and mesmerising” story sizzling “with erotic tension”.
He said: “Alex’s distinctive taste and vision as a director is reflected in the projects he has been involved in to date. For ‘If She Burns’, he assembled a fascinating and talented young cast who are all currently making their mark across trailblazing film and television.
“Alex’s script sizzles with erotic tension and promises to deliver an unsettling and mesmerising experience for the audience.”

Joker 2 will be ‘really surprising to people’, according to its cinematographer

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Joker 2’ is “a big swing” and will be “really surprising to people”.
That’s according to cinematographer Lawrence Sher, who has revealed the follow-up to 2019’s ‘Joker’ – the DC psychological thriller starring Joaquin Phoenix in the titular role as the mentally ill clown who goes on a murdering spree – is almost complete.
He told Definition Magazine: “Something I appreciate about [director] Todd Phillips — who I’ve done seven movies with, including Joker — is that he’s always taking risks.
“We’ve got the new Joker coming out next year and we’re just finishing up post-production on it. This movie is a big swing and it’s going to be really surprising to people. I’m so excited for everyone to see it.”
‘Joker: Folie à Deux’ will see Lady Gaga play Harley Quinn and Zazie Beetz is returning as Joker/Arthur Fleck’s former neighbour Sophie Dumond.
Additional cast members include Brendan Gleeson and Harry Lawtey.
Brendan revealed that he had joined the movie to have the chance to work with Joaquin again after the pair collaborated on the 2004 film ‘The Village’.
He said: “It wasn’t the material, which is a great way to get me out of having to answer any questions about the criteria.
“It was the achievement of the first film. I worked with Joaquin before on ‘The Village’… And so I knew him from then.”

‘He’s a natural!’ Lembit Opik backs Nigel Farage to win I’m A Celebrity

OHMYGOSSIP — Lembit Opik thinks Nigel Farage will “win” ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’
The 59-year-old former UKIP and Brexit Party leader is reportedly being lined up for a stint in the jungle, and the ex-Liberal Democrats MP – who appeared in the 2010 series – is backing him to go all the way.
He’s quoted by the Daily Star newspaper as saying: “He is a natural for the jungle. He’s about the only person to survive the political jungle without significant injury.
“He’ll find the bugs far less aggressive than his opponents in Westminster. I think he’ll win.”
He added that the politican is “a giant in terms of recognition levels and opinions”.
It’s been reported that Farage could land a £1 million payday to appear on the reality show, having been “top of the wish-list” for ‘I’m A Celebrity’ bosses for years.
An insider recently told The Sun on Sunday newspaper’s TVBiz column: “They’ve offered him a huge fee as they know he’ll drive up viewing figures. Ant and Dec will love this signing.
“Nigel’s the ultimate Marmite character and won’t hold back in camp discussions.
“It’s a real coup. The casting team has nailed it. It’s shaping up to be a brilliant series.”
He has been contacted by ITV bosses in the past and turned it down because it wasn’t “the right thing” for him to do, but now he could be swayed.
Speaking on his GB News show this week, he said: “Well, you’ve got about 10 million young people who watch that programme.
“These are people who don’t really watch the news or read newspapers, but they still care about the country they live in and their futures.
“And actually, in many ways, the futures of young people in Britain had been blighted.
“They haven’t got the same opportunities that their parents and grandparents had and they’d love to look for solutions.
“So in my mind, if I was to do it, I might be able to connect with that audience because goodness me they all watch ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ ”

It led to Shirley calling West End star Layton “laser-focused” and “an exceptional dancer”.

Nigel Farage to bag 1m for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

OHMYGOSSIP — Nigel Farage could net a reported £1 million to appear on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’.
The controversial former Brexit Party chief is said to be in advanced talks with producers about heading Down Under next month, with a big money deal being brokered by 2017 winner Georgia Toffolo’s talent company, The Visionary Talent Agency.
A source told The Sun on Sunday newspaper’s TV Biz column: “Nigel has been at the top of the wish-list for I’m A Celeb bosses for years.
“They’ve offered him a huge fee as they know he’ll drive up viewing figures. Ant and Dec will love this signing.
“Nigel’s the ultimate Marmite character and won’t hold back in camp discussions.
“It’s a real coup. The casting team has nailed it. It’s shaping up to be a brilliant series.”
It is believed jockey Frankie Dettori and ‘This Morning’ star Josie Gibson have already signed up for the show.
Nigel, 59, previously claimed he has been approached for the show “several times” but dismissed the requests as he felt it would be “rather humiliating”.
Speaking on his GB News show last year, he said: “I have been approached several times by I’m a Celebrity . . . Get Me Out of Here! and I’ve always ruled it out.
“I’ve never thought it would be a good thing to do.
“I thought it’s all rather humiliating, frankly. But I suppose you can never ever say never.”
The former politician encouraged viewers to let him know if they wanted to see him go into camp.
Referencing ex-Health Secretary Matt Hancock, who came third last year, he added: “I’d love to get actually some of your reaction, some of your feedback on whether you think I should be in the jungle — or whether you think we should leave it to people like Matt Hancock.”
Other political figures who have previously taken part in the show include former MPs Nadine Dorries and Edwina Currie, Boris Johnson’s dad, Stanley Johnson, and Carol Thatcher, the daughter of the late Margaret Thatcher.
ITV insisted no deal has been made.
A spokesperson said: “Any names suggested for ‘I’m a Celebrity’ are speculation.”

S Club hope to return to TV

OHMYGOSSIP — S Club want to make another TV series.
The group accompanied their chart career by playing fictionalised versions of themselves in the kids comedy series ‘Miami 7’, ‘L.A. 7’ and ‘Hollywood 7’ from 1999 to 2002 before making spin-off movie ‘Seeing Double’ in 2003, and now they are back on tour, albeit without Hannah Spearritt or the late Paul Cattermole, they are keen to make a return to the small screen too.
Rachel Stevens told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: “I’m up for another one, we have toyed with the idea and have come up with ideas for another one, how we would all be now. That was always gonna be part of S Club, the TV show like a modern day Monkees.”
Jo O’Meara agreed: “It would be very interesting to see what actually happened at the end because we need closure.”
However, she insisted the ‘Bring It All Back’ hitmakers wouldn’t be going to the US again for another show.
She added: “But we would have to do it in London instead.”
And Tina Barrett ruled out the idea of the group – which also includes Bradley McIntosh and Jon Lee – making another movie.
She laughed: “We did an S Club movie that was what put us over the edge, after that we split up.”
While the ‘Don’t Stop Movin” singers don’t want to film in America again, they are excited to be heading to the US for their first tour their next month.
Rachel said: “We spent so much time in America because we filmed the TV show there, it feels like second home but never toured.”
Jo added: “It’s new territory for us performing as a tour.”
And Tina admitted: “We look at America as special, as it’s, ‘Wow everything is so big and glamorous’ .

Jason Statham to star in Sylvester Stallone-written Levon’s Trade

OHMYGOSSIP — Jason Statham is to star in ‘Levon’s Trade’, a new action movie written by Sylvester Stallone.
The 56-year-old actor has signed up to portray Levon Cade in the film, which marks Stallone’s first screenplay since ‘Creed II’ in 2018 and 2019’s ‘Rambo: Last Blood’, and is adapted from the novel of the same name by Chuck Dixon, the first of eleven in his popular thriller series.
The movie – which will be directed by David Ayer – will chart how Levon decided to go “straight” and lead a simple life working in construction and being a good father for his daughter, but he is called back into the shadowy world of black ops when his boss’ teenage daughter goes missing, taking him into the midst of a sinister criminal conspiracy.
David and Chris Long will producer for Cedar Park Entertainment, as well as Jason for Punch Palace Productions, Sylvester for Balboa Productions – who were originally developing the project for TV – John Friedberg for Black Bear and Bill Block for BlockFilm.
Bill is “thrilled” to be involved with the project.
He said in a statement: “I am thrilled to be reuniting with some of my most talented and longstanding partners on Levon’s Trade. I first worked with David Ayer on Fury and it was immediately clear that he is a director at the very top of his game.
“Jason and I have worked together on a number of films, and most recently the three of us collaborated on The Beekeeper. Levon’s Trade is going to be another spectacular action movie and I’m confident we’ve assembled the dream team to bring the first novel in this celebrated series to the big screen.”
Jason was attached to the project before the Hollywood strike.

Jacob Elordi learned about Elvis Presley from Lilo + Stitch

OHMYGOSSIP — Jacob Elordi’s only knowledge of Elvis Presley before signing up for ‘Priscilla’ came from ‘Lilo + Stitch’.
The Australian actor portrays the late ‘Blue Suede Shoes’ hitmaker in Sofia Coppola’s new movie about Priscilla Presley (Cailee Spaeny) and her relationship with The King, but he admitted the only connection he originally had with the legendary performer came from the 2002 animated movie, which features a string of Elvis’ hits because Lilo is an avid fan and wants to teach her new extraterrestrial pal Stitch to be a “model citizen” like her idol.
Speaking to Jimmy Fallon on ‘The Tonight Show’, Jacob admitted: “The most I knew of Elvis was in ‘Lilo + Stitch’. Which is a lot, by the way.”
The 26-year-old actor didn’t feel a lot of pressure about the role because Elvis had never been on his “list of people to play”.
But Jacob admitted he didn’t think he had much chance of getting the part anyway.
He said: “Sofia [Coppola] had sent me these sides that said Elvis, and I kind of was just like, ‘There’s just no chance that this is happening.’
“So I watched this clip of him when he came back from the Army in Germany and I read the lines for like 15 minutes and then shot two takes, not thinking that it would go anywhere.”
And when it came to making the film, Jacob ignored the fact he and Cailee’s characters were based on real people.
He said: “The whole time I was trying to take [‘Priscilla’] like I was making ‘Blue Valentine’ or something. Just like a straight-up relationship drama without Elvis and Priscilla, for Sofia Coppola. That was the goal.”

Ben Wheatley reflects on shooting Meg 2: ‘It was like a wild fever dream!’

OHMYGOSSIP — Ben Wheatley feels as if shooting ‘Meg 2’ was a “wild-fever” dream.
The 51-year-old director is at the helm of the action film that follows the research team on an exploratory dive into the deepest depths of the ocean and admitted it has been nice to have some “distance” from it in the run-up to the release.
He told Empire Magazine: “I feel like it’s nice to have some distance from it, but it also feels like a wild fever dream now. It was a big chunk of time. It was two-and-a-half years, or something, I was on it for, all in all.”
In terms of shooting the underwater scenes, Ben went on to explain that it was a 2really bizarre” world to try to bring to the screen, even though there was no actual filming that took place underwater.
He said: “Huge swathes of the movie are set in and around the Mariana Trench, and you have this really bizarre, pulpy, sci-fi world. But you didn’t actually go underwater, so that must have been an interesting challenge. There was some underwater shooting, inside of air locks and stuff filling with water, and then a lot of Statham swimming about underwater. You couldn’t do that in CG because the body reacts in a different way. But the dry for wet along the trench, no-one thought for a single second of doing it for real. There’s no Nolan-ing about on The Meg, you know. To film down that depth would have been suicide, and we would still be filming it now, having replaced half of our cast through several difficult legal battles.
Before transitioning into directing cinmatic films, Ben had a career in directing advertisments and recalled that scheduling was one of the biggest challenges of the whole thing and struggled to “keep his nerve” throughout the process.
He added: “I had another life as an ads director. And I’d worked on shows with a lot of effects, so that side of it wasn’t too daunting. But the challenge of it is the weird scheduling. You have to make decisions that are impossible to change six months beforehand. So you’re making decisions on things and it’s getting delivered back to you and you look at it and go, ‘Oh, that’s what I was thinking back then’. and if you want to change your mind it’s a lot of frowning faces because it’s very expensive. So keeping your nerve doing that is quite difficult.

Shirley Ballas eyes challenge of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins

OHMYGOSSIP — Shirley Ballas wants to take part in ‘Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins’.
The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ judge is a huge fan of the military training show and doesn’t think she’d be fazed by the tough instructors putting her through her paces because of her experiences in the dance world.
She told Fabulous magazine: “I would love to do that! I watch it every week. It’s nothing that I haven’t gone through in my industry, with men screaming in my face. They are pussycats in comparison!”
The 63-year-old star is inundated with TV offers but has no idea to take part in a celebrity quiz show in front of the nation.
She said: “I’ve been offered ‘The Chase’, ‘Celebrity Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?’ and ‘Mastermind’.
“I look on that with a little trepidation and think: ‘Oh no. Not quite me.’ I’m more about doing challenges that people think you can’t do at my age.”
Shirley has spoken in the past about being trolled over her critique on ‘Strictly’, and while she admitted the cruel comments have lessened this series, she urged fans to “vote” for their favourites so they can’t complain about the results.
She said: “As an adjudicator, judging the major dance championships around the world, I judge without fear or favour, and I have no favouritism at all. The public, at the end of the day, has the vote.
“All I say to the public is, vote! Because if you don’t, there will be two in the bottom two, and if the judges don’t agree, it will be me who’s sending them home, and then most people complain.”
And Shirley insisted she couldn’t possibly single any of the celebrity contestants out as potential winners this year.
Asked who she thinks will make the final, she said: “I have to answer this with all my heart.
“It’s every single one of them, because every week they bring something different. I can’t single anyone out.
“It’s like a box of chocolates – you never really know what you’re going to get.”

Danielle Lloyd happier with quiet life

OHMYGOSSIP — Danielle Lloyd isn’t interested in making a TV comeback.
The 39-year-old beauty has previously starred on shows including ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ and ‘Splash’, and she’s one of just seven stars to have made it through to this weekend’s penultimate episode of ‘Celebrity SAS: Who Dates Wins’, but despite impressing viewers with her attitude to the gruelling programme, she insisted she’s content leading a quieter light out of the spotlight these days.
She told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: “This isn’t the start of a new TV career. I like the quiet life too much. I like being at home with the kids, doing the school run. I’m a football mum. That’s my life now, but I love it.”
Danielle – who has Archie, 13, Harry, 12, and 10-year-old George from her marriage to Jamie O’Hara, and, Ronnie, five, and 23-month-old Autumn with spouse Michael O’Neill – believes her traumatic past and being a mum of five helped her cope with the tough show.
She said: “I’ve given birth to five kids, come out of an abusive relationship and beaten drink and drug addictions. I knew if I could do all that I was tough enough to do SAS.”
However, the former Miss Great Britain did find some aspects of the show’s brutal format particularly difficult as the gruelling interrogation was “triggering” due to the abuse she has experienced in the past.
She said: “The hardest thing for me, because I’ve been in an abusive relationship in the past, was being hooded and yelled at.
“In a violent relationship they take away control from you, so it was really triggering for me. I was hyperventilating a lot when the hood was on, but there was no way I was quitting and I was determined to overcome my fear.”

Zara McDermott is fifth celebrity booted off ‘Strictly Come Dancing’

OHMYGOSSIP — Zara McDermott is the fifth celebrity to be eliminated from ‘Strictly Come Dancing 2023’.
The former ‘Love Island’ contestant, 26, and her professional dancer partner Graziano Di Prima, 29, were booted off the BBC One ballroom show on Sunday (29.10.23) night after losing their dance-off against ‘Emmerdale’ actor Adam Thomas, 35, and his 33-year-old pro partner Luba Mushtuk.
When asked by ‘Strictly’ co-host Tess Daly about her time on the show, Zara said: “I have had the time of my life. Just to be here is incredible. Thank you to the judges and my amazing partner obviously.
“My fellow contestants are just incredible. It has been the most amazing experience.
“I can’t believe it’s over but I am going to be here in spirit every week supporting them.”
Graziano added about working with Zara: “She has been great for me 8am till 9pm.
“Never stopping asking just for a half an hour break. She is literally what ‘Strictly’ is all about.
“A real novice, coming in, putting all the hard job. You have such a good soul. “You are so humble and I say thank you that I found a friend like you. I have learnt so much from you.
“And your hard work within six weeks. You have never danced before. I am so proud of you. So proud of you, honestly.”
Sunday’s results show saw the remaining couples take to the Ballroom floor in front of judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton DuBeke and Shirley Ballas.
Zara and Graziano Di Prima performed their Charleston to ‘Jeepers Creepers’ by Al Donahue and his Orchestra, which they had done on Saturday night’s Halloween special edition of the show.
Adam and Luba Mushtuk performed their American Smooth to ‘Magic Moments’ by Perry Como.
Craig chose to save Adam and Luba, saying: “For me one couple did remarkably well and nailed that routine. That couple is Adam and Luba.”
Motsi also went for the couple, adding: “Well I feel there was definitely a fighting spirit from both couples, I think both couples improved remarkably, they were both stunning, I will save Adam and Luba.”
Anton backed Adam and Luba, saying: “Well it’s not much of a consolation now – but both couples danced very well and both couples put their best foot forward. But for me it was couple that was the best quality – and that couple is Adam and Luba.”
With three votes to Adam and Luba it meant they had won the majority vote and would be staying in the competition regardless.
But head judge Shirley Ballas also said she would have decided to save Adam and Luba, adding: “I agreed I would have saved Adam and Luba.”
The results show opened with a Wednesday Addams-inspired routine from our ‘Strictly’ professionals, and there was a guest music performance from Rick Astley of his new single ‘Forever and More’.
The remaining nine couples will take to the dancefloor next week when ‘Strictly’ returns on Saturday 4 November at 7.05pm, with the results show on Sunday 5 November at 7.20pm on BBC One.
Zara and Graziano will be joining host Fleur East for their first exclusive televised interview live on ‘Strictly It Takes Two’ on Monday 30 October at 6.30pm on BBC Two.

Anne-Marie also axed from The Voice after Olly Murs’ revealed he was ‘gutted’ to be let go

OHMYGOSSIP — Anne-Marie has reportedly been axed from ‘The Voice’.
After Olly Murs, 39, revealed he had been let go as a coach from the ITV spinning-chair talent show, it’s been reported that the 32-year-old pop star – who joined the show in 2021 – also won’t be returning on the panel alongside will.i.am and Sir Tom Jones next year.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Anne-Marie has loved being part of the show but producers want to give the series a refresh.
“ITV wants to ensure that the show pulls in teens, so they are always looking at who is hot in the music world.”
A spokesperson from the broadcaster told OK!: “The Voice UK returns to ITV1 and ITVX for a brand new series on Saturday 4th November at 8:25 pm featuring coaches will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones, Anne-Marie and Olly Murs. Details of the 2024 series will be confirmed in due course.”
‘Up’ singer Olly is “gutted” to be leaving after six years.
He told The Sun: “I’m gutted. I got the call last week to say I won’t be back on the show, and it’s a bit of a shock, to be honest. I didn’t really expect that to come.
“But I don’t want to sit here like other artists might, and shine and gloss this up and say, ‘It was my decision’. I don’t want to do that.
“I don’t want to bulls*** my fans or bulls*** people who watch the show, and say, ‘Oh, it was an amicable decision to leave – I’ve got lots of things on next year, I can’t do it any more’.
“No. Genuinely, I accept their decision, and they’ll find someone great, I’m sure. But am I going to miss it? Yeah.
“Did I want to leave? No. Will I still watch the show? Of course, but it’ll be sore thinking that could have been me… .”
He’s been dropped despite mentoring two singers to victory on the show.
Olly added: “I still have a great relationship with ITV and I don’t actually think it was their decision as such – it was probably more (the production company) Talpa.
“They told my team they’re looking at new people. I don’t know if anyone knows yet, but I will really miss Tom, especially as I got very close to him.
“I’m going to miss drinking champagne after the show with him and chatting life stories but hopefully if he reads this, he might get in touch.
“I loved ‘The Voice’ and will always remember my first day on the set — how nervous I was, sitting in that big, red scary chair.
“But I felt I took to it like a duck to water and really just enjoyed it. I am really going to miss it.
“I loved the people behind the scenes, the coaches, everyone involved, so I am absolutely gutted not to be doing it again but you have to move on, don’t you?
“I’ve had knockbacks in my career before, I will be fine. Something exciting will come along.
“But this year has been such a year of positives for me, I always thought something bad might come around… and I guess this is

Strictly’s Zara McDermott ‘feared she lost votes due to reality TV past’

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ star Zara McDermott reportedly worried that she lost votes due to her past on ‘Love Island’.
The 26-year-old reality TV star shot to fame on the ITV dating show back in 2018 and she became the first former ‘Love Island’ star to land a place on Strictly when she was announced in the 2023 line-up – but she crashed out on Sunday night 29.10.23) after losing the dance-off to ‘Emmerdale’ actor Adam Thomas.
Now a new report suggests Zara feared she wasn’t able to shake off the ‘Love Island label. A source told The Sun newspaper: “Zara has tried hard to shake off that label she was given after she starred on Love Island, making waves with her BBC documentary. She’s been very vocal about her past issues as a youngster in documentaries, but she also comes from a show which is about hot boys and girls hooking up.
“So while Zara was being pushed as the one to watch, with BBC bosses giving her this opportunity, it doesn’t seem that she’s been well received by the show’s fans …”
The insider added: “Ultimately, she’s still remembered as a reality star and she feels that viewers just couldn’t get past her being an ex-‘Love Island’ contestant.”
Her dancer partner Graziano Di Prima added: “She has been great for me 8am till 9pm.
