Rebecca Loos offered TV deal after Beckham documentary

OHMYGOSSIP — Rebecca Loos has been offered a deal for her own documentary.
The 46-year-old yoga teacher alleged she had a fling with David Beckham in the 2000s, which he has always denied, and after David and his wife Victoria Beckham spoke about the allegations in the Netflix ‘Beckham’ documentary, Rebecca has been inundated with offers to tell her side of the story.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Rebecca was living a quiet life out of the public eye but David and Victoria’s Netflix series changed all that.
“While she was not named in the documentary, everyone knew it was Rebecca being referred to.
“Rebecca has been sent several offers for her own TV documentary to speak about the fallout of the alleged affair.
“She has been told that it would be her chance to speak in detail about what happened to her after the allegations were made and how it affected her life.”
Rebecca recently blasted David, 48, for making her “look like a liar” when he addressed the allegations in his docuseries.
She told the Daily Mail: “I understand he has an image to preserve, but he is portraying himself as the victim and he’s making me look like a liar, like I’ve made up these stories.
“It’s all, ‘Poor me.’ He needs to take responsibility.”
Rebecca used a bombshell 2004 interview to claim she and then-Real Madrid player David had an affair behind the back of his wife Victoria.
David said on his Netflix film about the impact of Rebecca’s stories on his marriage: “I don’t know how we got through it in all honesty. Victoria is everything to me. To see her hurt was incredibly difficult, but we’re fighters.
“We needed to fight for each other and for our family. What we had was worth fighting for.”
Rebecca added to the Mail she felt he was “indirectly suggesting” she was the one who “made Victoria suffer”
She said: “Yes, the stories were horrible, but they’re true.
“He talks in the documentary about this ultimately being his private life, shutting it down.
“I think it’s one thing to keep your private life to yourself. It’s another thing to mislead the public.”
Rebecca has reinvented herself as a wellness influencer and has been married to Norwegian doctor Sven Christjar Skaiaa since 2012. They have two sons together.
David and Victoria have been married 24 years and have sons Brooklyn, 24, Romeo, 21, Cruz, 18, as well as 12-year-old daughter Harper.

Georgia Toffolo’s advice to Nigel Farage

OHMYGOSSIP — Georgia Toffolo helped Nigel Farage net his huge £1.5 million payday for ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’.
The 29-year-old reality TV star – who won the show in 2017 – worked with broadcaster and former politician Farage, 59, through her Visionary Talent Agency (VTA), to help him land the massive deal.
A source told the Daily Mail newspaper: “It is an absolute coup for Toff and she is rightly very, very proud of her work. She has gone full circle, from jungle queen to queen of negotiating.
“No one else does this. Toff puts their interests first. This was important to her as she sits on the roster as talent, too. This is why she stands out.”
When ITV approached Farage, he asked Georgia for help in negotiating his deal.
The insider said: “What better person to deal with a contract like this than Toff? She has been there, done that. She has inside knowledge of all of the little bits of detail that other agents do not necessarily understand. It’s been a very intense week. Farage is a huge booking so the contract needs to be perfect, which it will be.”
Farage told his GB News viewers: “They’ve always offered me really quite substantial sums of money to do so, and I have always thought: ‘No, it’s probably not the right thing for me to do.'”
He added: “Well, you’ve got about 10 million young people who watch that programme.
“These are people who don’t really watch the news or read newspapers, but they still care about the country they live in and their futures.
“And actually, in many ways, the futures of young people in Britain had been blighted.
“They haven’t got the same opportunities that their parents and grandparents had and they’d love to look for solutions.
“So in my mind, if I was to do it, I might be able to connect with that audience because goodness me they all watch ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ ”

Ellie Leach credits Strictly with improving body confidence

OHMYGOSSIP — Ellie Leach says ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ has improved her body confidence.
The 22-year-old actress – who is best known for playing Faye Windass on ‘Coronation Street’ – praised the show and her professional dance partner Vito Coppola, 31, for giving her a “newfound confidence” after previous struggles with body image.
She told The Sun newspaper: “Body confidence is probably something I’ve always really struggled with.
“As a young woman and growing up in the public eye as well, it’s been amazing, but it’s also quite intense, and there’s always eyes on you, everything that you do.
“When you’re dressed up and you’ve got all the costumes on and your hair done and your make-up done and you feel great, you go out there and you smash it, it feels amazing.
“’Strictly’ has given me a newfound confidence that I’ve never really had before.”
And, she credits Vito with helping her to grow in confidence.
She said: “Vito is a great teacher.
“Sometimes I don’t believe in myself and he believes in me, which is really, really nice.
“It makes me believe in myself and be like, ‘You know what? I can do this’, and I want to do well.
“We train nine till six every day. I’ve never really done much activity before, so I’m seeing my body changing.
“But Vito’s keeping me snacked up. We always have snacks on hand, so we’re definitely eating.
“But I think the physical activity side, I can definitely see the impact it’s having.
“The fact that I’ve been dancing on live TV in front of millions of people is crazy to me.
“I do think it gives you a little bit of that confidence to be like, ‘Oh, as if I’ve done that and as if that’s me’.
“When I watch Saturday’s show on a Sunday, I’m like, ‘Is that really me?’
“Sometimes I don’t recognise myself. I am growing in confidence every day.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Amy Dowden has shared her fears about not being able to have children.
The 33-year-old ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ star is currently battling breast cancer and explained that the hormone treatment she is having has forced her body into menopause, causing her to fear that she and husband Ben Jones may not be able to have kids in the future.
Speaking during Channel 4’s ‘Stand Up To Cancer’ on Friday (03.11.23), Amy said: “I’ve had sepsis, blood clots, I’ve had to have hormone treatment then being put into menopause.
“When I sat in that room and the doctor said ‘yes Amy you have cancer’ that was one stab, and then ‘what’s your fertility plans?’
“Because I have an oestrogen fed cancer and they need to shut my ovaries down basically, and my husband is next to me and we’ve only been married a couple of months!
“And it’s just heartbreaking and that is something I never knew, and the impact emotionally it’s just been so tough.”

Judges predict Ellie Leach will make the Strictly final after topping the leaderboard again

OHMYGOSSIP — Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola have topped the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ leaderboard for the second week in a row.
The former ‘Coronation Street’ actress, 22, is currently taking part in the BBC Latin and ballroom competition alongside professional Vito, 31, and topped the leaderboard again after achieving a near-perfect score of 39 following their rendition of the American Smooth to Robbie Williams hit ‘Ain’t That Kick In the Head’ on Saturday’s (04.11.23) episode.
Following their performance, judge Craig Revel Horwood noted that Ellie had gone from “strength to strength” in the show before giving out a score of nine, whilst Motsi Mabuse predicted the routine could send them into the final, head judge Shirley Ballas called them “finalist material” and Anton Du Beke labelled their routine “joyous”.
Speaking to hosts Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly after their performance, Ellie said: “Honestly, I love that. The vibe, the costume, and the team are amazing. I felt a million dollars! I was like ‘What am I meant to do here?’ But I’ve got an amazing teacher!”
Just behind them were West End star Layton Williams and his partner Nikita Kuzma – who danced the Jive to ‘Shake Your Body – with a score of 36, whilst tennis legend Annabel Croft and her partner Johannes Radebe completed the top three couples having attained a score of 35 for their couple’s choice routine to ‘Wings’ by Birdy, which they dedicated to the sport star’s late husband Mel Coleman, who died of cancer earlier this year.
At the lower end of the scoreboard were broadcaster Angela Rippon and Kai Widdrington – who scored a total of 28 for their rendition of the Waltz to Nat King Cole classic ‘Fascination’ – whilst ‘The One Show’ host, Angela Scanlon and Carlos Gu, along with ‘Waterloo Road’ actor Adam Thomas and Luba Mushtuck came in joint-last with a score of 27.

Grace Dent latest name in frame for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

OHMYGOSSIP — Grace Dent is set to “eat humble pie” and take part in ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’.
The ‘Masterchef’ star has previously slammed the reality show but has reportedly signed a deal and will be heading Down Under for the programme later this month after agreeing a £100,000 deal.
A source told The Sun on Sunday newspaper’s TV Biz column: “’Masterchef’ fans know Grace for her withering put-downs of contestants’ food and disdain for anything less than stellar cooking.
“But she’ll be eating humble pie in the jungle, surviving on rice and beans and taking part in Bushtucker trials.”
The 50-year-old food critic previously branded the series “a puerile venture into starvation, televised constipation and animal cruelty, abbreviated by ads for Iceland £1 curries.”
And she claimed she was embarrassed at the idea of being seen to be tuning in.
She said: “I snap my blinds firmly shut before settling down to watch ‘I’m a Celeb’, in fear the theme tune alone devalues my property.”
Other stars in the frame for the new series include JLS singer Marvin Humes, jockey Frankie Dettori, soap stars Danielle Harold and Nick Pickard, controversial politician Nigel Farage, and ‘This Morning’ host Josie Gibson.
It was previously claimed Nigel was offered a staggering £1 million to take part and he recently admitted he is “seriously considering” going into camp this year after rejecting past approaches.
Speaking on his GB News show, he said: “Several times since 2016 I’ve had ‘I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here!’ from ITV saying to me, ‘Come into the jungle.’
“And they’ve always offered me really quite substantial sums of money to do so, and I have always thought ‘No, it’s probably not the right thing for me to do.’ ”
But Nigel admitted he could be swayed because he wants to “connect” with some of the 10 million youngsters who watch the ITV show.

‘Don’t you know who I am?’ Alison Hammond shocked by Bake Off audition process

OHMYGOSSIP — Alison Hammond was stunned she had to audition for the ‘Great British Bake Off’.
The ‘This Morning’ presenter admitted she’d never wanted a job as much as the hosting role on the Channel 4 contest alongside Noel Fielding but she was amazed at how she was put through her paces to prove herself before landing the gig.
She told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: “I’d never wanted a job so bad.
“I had to audition for it and the maddest thing is, I was like, ‘Don’t you know who I am?’ I had to do this chemistry test with Noel and they were all watching me so I said, ‘Hi Noel, look at the chemistry’.
“They then handed me a script and I thought, ‘That’s the audition done’ but they said, ‘No, you’ve got to do a bit more.’
“So they took me to a garden centre and told me they wanted to see me interview people.”
Despite being a huge hit with viewers, Alison worried about her presenting skills.
She said: “There are some times I think I’m going though the menopause because I’ll be sitting there and I’ve no idea what this piece is.”
The 48-year-old star – who first came to the public’s attention when she appeared on ‘Big Brother 3’ in 2002 – is amazed by her career success.
She said: “I pinch myself hosting ‘This Morning’ and now this. I’m pinching myself all the time.
“My mum absolutely loved ‘Bake Off’. I can bake but I’m like Jamie Oliver – I chuck it all in and hope it works.”
But despite her success, Alison insisted she has no plans to move away from Birmingham to be based in London full time.
She said: “I put my house on sale and people were saying I’m moving to London but anyone who knows me knows Alison ain’t going anywhere.
“I love Birmingham. I don’t know what it is about the Brummies but I find the people are really warm.”

Sylvester Stallone rewrote ‘thuggish’ Rocky after friend warned him no one would care about cruel character

OHMYGOSSIP — Sylvester Stallone rewrote ‘Rocky’ after a friend tearfully told him she “hated” the character he’d created.
The 77-year-old actor became a household name thanks to the 1975 boxing movie he wrote and starred in but he revealed things could have been very different if he’d stuck with his original plan to make Rocky Balboa – a small-time club fighter and debt collector – a more “thuggish” character, having taken inspiration from Martin Scorsese’s ‘Mean Streets’.
In his new Netflix documentary ‘Sly’, the action star told how he overhauled the script after a friend read it and tearfully told him she thought the protagonist was too cruel for audiences to care about him.
He recalled: “She goes, ‘I hate Rocky. I hate him. He’s cruel. He hits people. He beats them up.’
“I said, ‘What if you stop short of it?’ Like, maybe he almost did. He could have, that’s his job, but he doesn’t?’ ‘That’d be nice.’
“I said, ‘What if he had a girlfriend or something?’ ‘Yeah, that’s nice.’ So I go back, start writing that: ‘Girlfriend. Nice.’”
Stallone also discussed being hospitalised after being “pulverised” by co-star Dolph Lundgren when filming a fight scene for ‘Rocky IV’.
He said: “Dolph Lundgren… he pulverised me.
“Later that night, my heart started to swell – which happens when the heart hits the chest – and then my blood pressure went up to 260, and they thought I was going to be talking to angels.
“Next thing I know, I’m in intensive care, where I’m surrounded by nuns, and I thought, ‘OK, that’s curtains.’”
The ‘Expendables’ star was in hospital for nine days following the incident, praying for “one more round”.
Lundgren previously discussed the incident, joking he was simply “obeying orders”.
He said: “All I did was obey orders. He was the boss. I did what he told me. We came back to LA and the producer was like, ‘Hey Dolph, you’ve got two weeks off — Sly’s in the hospital.’ ”

Shawn Levy takes inspiration from key Star Wars scene for Deadpool 3

OHMYGOSSIP — Shawn Levy has taken inspiration from ‘Star Wars’ for a key scene in ‘Deadpool 3’.
The 55-year-old filmmaker reflected on the magic of watching a movie in a busy theatre and recalled how he repeatedly watched 1983’s ‘Return of the Jedi’ when it came out and will never forget the collective audience response, and admitted he wants to do something similar with the latest installment of the Ryan Reynolds-starring franchise.
He wrote in an essay for Esquire magazine: “I went to the theatre again and again to see ‘Return of the Jedi’.
“I vividly remember the scene in which Luke is hiding from Vader in the Emperor’s room and Vader gives the speech that ends with, ‘If you will not turn to the dark side, then perhaps your sister will.’ It was dead quiet. Pin-drop silence.
“Suddenly Vader has pushed the wrong button. Luke comes screaming out of the shadows and just goes to town in a light saber battle against Vader.
“The way that felt: The forty seconds of stillness from the audience, then the spectacle and emotion, is seared not just in my eyeballs but in my heart.”
Shawn – who is developing his own ‘Star Wars’ movie – returned to the scene during filming of ‘Deadpool 3’ and avidly studied every element of how it was structured.
He added: “I’m now making ‘Deadpool 3’, the production of which was paused because of the actors’ strike. For one key scene in the movie, I said to my stunt and action team, ‘Guys, this is the Jedi moment.’
“I pulled up that scene of Vader and Luke on my phone and restudied how it was photographed, how it was blocked, the framing, the tempo.
“The keen ‘Star Wars’ fan will see the shot in my ‘Deadpool’ movie that was inspired by a moment that I saw in a theatre decades ago. That’s a forever memory. And that’s a treasure.”

‘I wanted her to feel respected’: Sofia Coppola faced a creative challenge during the making of Priscilla

OHMYGOSSIP — Sofia Coppola had to balance creativity and respect for the film’s subject during the making of ‘Priscilla’.
The 52-year-old filmmaker has helmed the biopic that tells the story of Priscilla Presley and her relationship with music icon Elvis Presley and was regularly in communication with Priscilla – who served as an executive producer on the project.
Sofia told Empire magazine: “It was a challenge for me to balance my creative freedom and expression with being respectful of how (Priscilla) wanted her story to be told.
“I wanted her to feel comfortable and respected. And at the same point, I wanted to be sure I was expressing whatever I connected to. In the end, (watching the film) she said she felt she was watching her life, so I felt really glad to be able to both.”
The movie features Cailee Spaeny in the lead role and Coppola explained that the 26-year-old star’s ability to convey a range of emotions with her facial expressions was key to her landing the part.
The ‘Lost in Translation’ director explained: “We had to find someone believable to play 14 to 29 with accuracy. And Cailee has the talent to show her emotional state on her face without doing much.
“Her variability as an actress can convey so much; you say one little thing and her whole face would change.”
Elvis’ estate denied Coppola access to the King of Rock and Roll’s music collection and the filmmaker had expected the issue to arise because of the movie’s depiction of the late music legend – who is played by Jacob Elordi.
She said: “I always knew that we might not get permission. So I wasn’t counting on it. I did have a couple of Elvis songs that I wanted to use that we weren’t able to, but the creative opportunity to work around it was interesting.”

Strictly’s Shirley Ballas convinced she found a ghost at the end of her bed

OHMYGOSSIP — Shirley Ballas believes she woke up to find a ghost sitting at the end of her bed and watching her sleep.
The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ judge, 63, was staying at the 16th Century Leasowe Castle Hotel on the Wirral, Merseyside, when she came face to face with her phantom admirer that left her shocked and shaken.
In an interview with the Daily Star newspaper, she said: “I had a paranormal experience when I was staying at the castle. It’s a very old place.
“And I could have sworn there was somebody at the bottom of my bed. I do believe in ghosts, so I did not rule anything out. It was a little on the scary side.”
The incident was so horrifying that Shirley went to her mother to calm her down, but she didn’t get much sympathy.
She added: “I told my mother and she said, ‘Get over yourself, you’ll be fine.’ ”
The judge is also concerned that the ‘Strictly’ studio in Elstree, Herts, is haunted, with stars reporting strange noises coming from the toilets.
The 62-year-old admitted she had not experienced anything out of the ordinary at the studio, but she was nonetheless uncomfortable.
She said: “I’ve not been aware of anything. I haven’t seen anything at the studio, but I’ll be having a look. I’m scared to go to work.”
Meanwhile, Shirley recently admitted that she actually struggles to switch off because of the online trolls.
She told The Sun newspaper: “Sometimes at night, I lie there and wonder, ‘Are they suffering? Are they lonely? Is it funny to them?’ This whole experience has made me much more vigilant.
“I cannot say that I leave my front door unless I am on point. I never relax. It has changed my life completely I would say.”

Bobby Brazier ‘inspired by Hare Krishna faith’ for Strictly success

OHMYGOSSIP — Bobby Brazier is reportedly being guided towards success on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ by his Hare Krishna faith.
The ‘EastEnders’ actor has not directly spoken about his faith – which is an offshoot of Hinduism – on the BBC show, but the 20-year-old star has pointed to his “spirituality” as a way of keeping him calm alongside partner Dianne Bushwell, 34.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s TVBiz column: “Bobby’s belief in Hare Krishna has been the secret to his success while on the show, as it helps him remain calm, grounded and focused.
“Although his image as the snake-hipped pin-up of this year’s series is in contrast to the look that we usually associate with devotees.
“But Bobby is just one of a long line of artists who have turned to Hare Krishna for their inspiration.”
Before joining the show, Bobby took to social media to share with his fans the moment his views on life had changed due to Hare Krishna.
In the Instagram post, he said: “I had to make a video because I had an experience earlier. I was in the temple and when I went in and when I went out the same person was standing outside.
“And they said, ‘Wow, you look so much happier now you’ve come out from when you went in.’ And it was so true. But it’s just made me start thinking.
“If you’ve been following me for a while or if you’ve known me for a while, you’ll know that I’ve been searching through many different phases for the same thing that we’re all searching for, that we’re all hankering after: bliss and love and knowledge and peace and contentment.
“And the place in which I found what I’m looking for is in my relationship with God. And I don’t want to give the impression that I’m some great devotee or some great man of God who is devoted in every aspect of his life.
“Because I am a fool and a sinner, but I’m trying my best not to be. I fall under the spells of illusion and I fall into sin a lot. But I’m intelligent enough to recognise what makes me feel truly happy and what actually ends up making me feel miserable disguised as happy.”

Daisy Ridley cast in We Bury the Dead

OHMYGOSSIP — Daisy Ridley is to star in ‘We Bury the Dead’.
The 31-year-old actress has been cast in the survival thriller from director Zak Hilditch.
Daisy plays the role of Ava – a desperate woman whose husband is missing after a catastrophic military experiment – in the film.
In the hope of finding him alive, Ava joins a ‘body retrieval unit’, but her search takes a frightening turn when the corpses she buries begin to show signs of life.
‘We Bury the Dead’ is written and directed by Hilditch and is produced by The Penguin Empire’s Kelvin Munro and Grant Sputore along with Ross Dinerstein of Campfire Studios. Filming is set to commence in Western Australia in February 2024.
The filmmaker said: “Having Daisy play the role of Ava is an absolute dream come true. She embodies the perfect mix of vulnerability, grit and determination that Ava exudes throughout the film.”

The upcoming picture will be set 15 years after the 2019 flick ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’ and the filmmaker explained that it will “tell the story of rebuilding the New Jedi Order and the powers that rise to tear it down”.
Obaid-Chinoy added that she had been immersing herself in the project with a “powerful Jedi master” as Daisy walked out on stage.
She said: “My heart is pounding. I’m very thrilled to be continuing this journey.”

Kerry was ‘ready’ for Big Brother eviction

OHMYGOSSIP — Kerry was “ready” to leave ‘Big Brother’.
In a Halloween twist for the ITV reality show, she was given the boot after a secret public vote, with Noky and Trish given the opportunity to chose the “cursed” nominees as they picked Kerry, Dylan and Olivia.
Speaking to ‘Late and Live’ host Will Best after she became the fourth housemate to leave, Kerry admitted it was the right time.
She said: “I was so ready to come out, if you didn’t know I’m a mum. But this was the best experience ever.
“I was ready, I’ve got MS, I feel fatigue, I hadn’t been sleeping.”
And while she’d like to think Trish and Noky sensed she was “ready to go”, she suspects she might have simply annoyed her housemates.
She added: “In my head I want to think that they knew I was ready to go but in reality they maybe thought I was moaning.”
The “cursed” trio were called to Room 101 with an ominous coffin, before Big Brother told the whole house about Noky and Trish’s task.
It was then revealed Kerry had lost the public vote as she had to climb into the coffin and bid farewell to her housemates.
She urged Dylan and Olivia not to react badly to Noky and Trish, noting they were simply doing what they were told by Big Brother.
However, Dylan got into a heated row with Trish, and the remaining members of the “cursed” trio were fuming over the turn of events.
Kerry’s exit comes one week after her friend Hallie, 18, was eliminated, while 28-year-old model Zak was given the boot the previous week.
Meanwhile, makeup artist Farida, 50, was the first housemate to be evicted.
‘Big Brother’ continues tonight (01.11.23) at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.

‘We have a script’: Chad Stahelski confirms that Ghost of Tsushima movie is progressing

OHMYGOSSIP — Chad Stahelski has confirmed that the script for the ‘Ghost of Tsushima’ movie is finished.
The 55-year-old director is helming an adaptation of the PlayStation video game and explained that development is continuing to progress despite the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strikes.
Chad told Screen Rant: “We have a script, we’re very close to getting our s*** together on that, as well.
“Development is always tricky. It’s studios, it’s strikes, and availabilities, and scouting. You have to will things into existence.
“I think the two that I am closest and most interested in are ‘Highlander’ and ‘Ghost of Tsushima’. Both amazing, amazing properties, the story of Ghost is, also, one of my favourite properties of all time.”
Japanese influences are evident in Chad’s ‘John Wick’ franchise and he looked to pay homage to the influential filmmaker Akira Kurosawa during a scene in ‘John Wick: Chapter 4’.
He explained: “I would say the very first time you see John in Osaka, standing with the cherry blossoms blowing, the big wide shot, he’s got his back to us, winds blowing, you have the Kurosawa music going underneath there with the cello.”
Lionsgate chairman Joe Drake revealed that a fifth ‘John Wick’ movie is in the pipeline and Chad admitted that he would be open to returning behind the camera in the Keanu Reeves-led franchise if provided with the perfect story.
The director said: “I’m massively in love with the characters and the world that we’ve built.
“Do I want to try other things? Yes, but to be brutally honest with you, if I was smart enough and good enough to come up with a way to continue the story, I would.
“It just felt right to end where Keanu and I both just in our hearts and our souls, felt it was good to do what we did. To end it and put a good cap on this and feel satisfied and not go out on it down, but go out on a high. It felt right to end the series like that.”
