Swingers invade Great British Bake Off set for secret romps

OHMYGOSSIP — A group of swingers have reportedly been romping near the ‘Great British Bake Off’ tent.
Members of an X-rated website – who also happen to be fans of the Channel 4 baking show – are said to have helped each other sneak into the Welford Park grounds and get busy in the nearby forest.
As reported by The Sun newspaper, one person wrote on the site: “Looking for takes for some GBBO bonking in the forest where Bake Off is filmed.
“Looking for people to join me and the girlfriend. Good looking crumpet only!”
Another person claimed they get together with their pals “for loads of meets” because the area is “lovely and empty” a lot of time.
They added: “We love getting it on in front of the marquee imagining Paul [Hollywood] and Prue [Leith] watching us.
“They’re more than welcome to join us.”
Someone else even put out a call for a Paul lookalike to take their fantasy to an outrageous level.
They asked: “Anyone want to join myself and the wife for some swapping fun in Welford Park?
“It’s where GBBO is filmed so no soggy bottoms.
“She’d love Paul Hollywood to join so any lookalikes go to the top of the list.”
The current series is airing on Channel 4, with Saku being the latest baker to leave the show after the whole group had a very disappointed technical for Dessert Week.
After her exit, she said: “I’m so proud of myself. I don’t miss baking, but I will miss them [the fellow bakers].
“It’s really sad to leave them. It’s a privilege to be a part of this lovely family.”

Ncuti Gatwa reveals why he stopped ‘enjoying’ filming of Doctor Who

OHMYGOSSIP — Ncuti Gatwa “wasn’t able to enjoy” filming ‘Doctor Who’.
The 31-year-old actor has taken over the role of the titular Time Lord in the BBC sci-fi series but admitted that things became “annoying” towards the end of his hectic filming schedule in July that he just wanted to “get to the finish line”and was unable to think about “amazing” career opportunity he had been landed with.
He told the December/ January issue of British GQ: “It was annoying. I just wasn’t able to enjoy things anymore because [from the] outside, I can see that this is amazing, and oh, my God, you work with amazing people, and it’s a great opportunity, but I just felt like I was trying to get to the end, the finish line.”
The former ‘Sex Education’ star – who will be toasted at the annual GQ Men of the Year celebration in association with BOSS, in London on November 15 – went on to add that he had initially put the audition out of his mind because he had no idea he would be successful in his bid to land the coveted TV role as he reflected on his humble beginnings as a shop worker.
He added: “I knew I needed to go in and give them a wink and a [smile] . But I almost forgot about [the audition] as soon as I left the room, because there was just no way. Because there’s life and then there’s life. I’m a good actor [but] this is a 60-year-long British institution and I’m a black man, so I never thought that I’d be chosen to front something that is basically the heart of the BBC. “Your existence when you’re a marginalised person is political. So you, and the world, are aware of that, and people make decisions accordingly.
“Lots of amazing actors work in that [clothes shop] there. I was one of them, five years ago. Incredible actors are serving your coffee. My industry is not a meritocracy. So yeah, I was like… I don’t think I’ll get it. And then I did, and I thought Wow… Oh s***…. Oh s***! What have I done?!”
“And then once the shock of it all left my system, it was a no-brainer.”
The December/ January issue of British GQ is available via digital download and on newsstands on the 28th November.

Strictly Come Dancing star Layton Williams loves to wear dresses and heels at home

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ star Layton Williams feels his most comfortable when he is wearing a dress and heels.
The ‘Bad Education’ star, 29, has been earning top scores from the judges and plaudits from fans of the BBC ballroom show thanks to his sensational and emotional routines with professional partner Nikita Kuzmin, which have seen him fully embrace the glamour of ‘Strictly’.
Layton insists he has always fully embraced the more extravagant end of fashion and he loves to experiment with men and women’s fashion away from the cameras.
In interview with Closer magazine, he shared: “I wear dresses in my normal life on the red carpets.
“Sometimes, I might whack one on at home if I fancy it.
“I did have a pair of kitten heels back in the day! When I was 14, I used to love putting them on to cook.
“I’ve always been comfortable wearing whatever I feel comfortable in, so I want that to transfer onto ‘Strictly’.
“It’s a powerful message – live your best life, being you.”
Whilst Layton has received plenty of support from viewers, he has also had his fair share of online trolls and criticisms, particularly about the fact that he previously starred in the West End musical ‘Everybody’s Talking About Jamie’, which meant he had previous dance experience.
Nevertheless, Layton pays no attention to the negativity and focuses on being the best version of himself.
He said: “It’s been an emotional roller coaster.
“If you read into too many things and then you’re worried about what other people think of you, that’s like noise.
“You’ve got to concentrate on the positive instead. I’m doing it for me, and for those who want to be inspired and watch us put on a show.
“I’m just trying to have a slay vibe about all of this now.”
The actor also admitted that he has found the training for the BBC show “challenging”, but is satisfied with the “cute” physique he has got because of the hours of gruelling rehearsal.
He said: “I’m tired from all the training, but my body is cute!
“It’s snatched, actually – I’m going to put Nikita to shame. It feels good to just have mind, body and soul in check.”

My Mum, Your Dad rival dating show in development with a twist

OHMYGOSSIP — A mature dating show to rival ‘My Mum, Your Dad’ is reportedly in development.
The ITV series – which is hosted by Davina McCall – has proven to be a huge hit with viewers enjoying seeing older singletons looking for love, and now the team behind ‘I Kissed A Boy’ and ‘Loaded In Paradise’ want to make a new show featuring over-45s from the UK and US.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s TVBiz column: “Bosses believe viewers might be getting fed up with young contestants only signing up for fame, rather than love, which is why ‘My Mum, Your Dad’ was such a hit — they were in it for the right reasons.
“They now see the value of having a show dedicated to mature stars who will see if love or friendship can blossom while on feel-good dates.”
With the show said to already be in development with hopes it will air in 2024, it’s thought a rival to ITV could land the rights.
Last month, it was confirmed that ‘My Mum, Your Dad’ is returning for a second season.
The show sees single parents in their 40s and 50s return to the dating scene at a Surrey mansion.
Reflecting on her time on the dating show and her excitement to host more, Davina said: “I want to present this show for the rest of my life!
“I’ve been sent photographs of couples since. I really am Cupid!”
ITV bosses were thrilled to learn that ‘My Mum, Your Dad’ enjoyed a large audience, reaching an average of three million viewers per episode.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Everyone remains very excited to see how the format can develop in the future.”

Is former Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson heading into the I’m A Celeb jungle?

OHMYGOSSIP — Sam Thompson is rumoured to be entering the ‘I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ jungle.
The former ‘Made in Chelsea’ star, 31, was absent from his podcast with pal Pete Wicks, ‘Staying Relevant’, this week, sparking speculation he is headed Down Under to take part in the ITV jungle reality show.
A source told The Sun: “Sam is a great signing because he has a huge fan base and a funny self-deprecating personality.
“While it might put a bit of pressure on their relationship, it’s a huge year for them.”
The latest rumour comes hot off the heels of Jamie Lynn Spears being reported to have joined the lineup.
The 32-year-old actress is the younger sister of pop legend Britney, 41, and is said to be set for an appearance on the survival show when it returns to screens on November 19.
In recent years, Jamie Lynn has become estranged from her sister, who regained control of her multimillion-dollar fortune and various aspects of her life when a conservatorship governed by her immediate family was terminated in 2021, over her alleged involvement in the arrangement and now producers are hoping that she will open up about their “history” during her time in the Australian Outback.
A source told The Daily Mirror: “Jamie Lynn has got decades of history and bad blood with Britney to rake over and has laid out her feelings pretty clearly in her own book. It will be interesting to hear her spill the beans about her life and her family and the controversial conservatorship – and to find out whether the sisters really do get along now – or not.”
Several stars have been linked to the upcoming series, including JLS singer Marvin Humes, jockey Frankie Dettori, soap stars Danielle Harold and Nick Pickard, politician Nigel Farage, and ‘This Morning’ host Josie Gibson.
It was previously claimed Nigel was offered a staggering £1 million to take part and he recently admitted he is “seriously considering” going into camp this year after rejecting past approaches.
Speaking on his ‘GB News’ show, he said: “Several times since 2016 I’ve had ‘I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here!’ from ITV saying to me, ‘Come into the jungle.’
“And they’ve always offered me really quite substantial sums of money to do so, and I have always thought ‘No, it’s probably not the right thing for me to do.’ ”
‘MasterChef’ star Grace Dent is also expected to take part in the show.
A source told The Sun on Sunday newspaper’s TV Biz column: “‘MasterChef’ fans know Grace for her withering put-downs of contestants’ food and disdain for anything less than stellar cooking.
“But she’ll be eating humble pie in the jungle, surviving on rice and beans and taking part in Bushtucker trials.”

Zac Efron details ‘shocking’ transformation for The Iron Claw

OHMYGOSSIP — Zac Efron underwent a “shocking” transformation for ‘The Iron Claw’.
The 36-year-old actor plays real life wrestling legend Kevin Von Erich in a new biopic about his family’s rollercoaster dynasty, and he threw himself into the role from getting in ridiculous shape to rocking a bowl cut in revealing attire.
He told Entertainment Tonight: “It was shocking at every point of the transformation.
“I remember Harris [Dickinson] and I were walking out of hair and make-up and it was like the first time we had to wear the full kit, and we were both thinking, ‘What the hell are we doing here, man? How did we get into this?’
“But I think it ended up looking really good and we had a great crew helping us out with that. The hair and make-up team was epic.”
Efron took inspiration from Von Erich himself as it came to making sure he did him and his family proud.
He added: “This movie’s a true story, and that man, Kevin Von Erich right there, he really motivated me to get in shape for this movie.
“The physicality he brought to the ring every single day was really unique. It changed wrestling.
“I knew that was going to be the hardest [thing] for me to master and get right. So, I put everything I had into it.”
Thankfully for Efron, he’s had the stamp of approval from the grappling pioneer.
He revealed: “He told me he was happy with it last night so I’m stoked! I cried a little bit, if I’m going to be completely honest.”
The movie follows the Von Erichs, led by father and coach Fritz Von Erich (Holt McCallany) and his sons Kevin, David (Dickinson), Kerry (Jeremy Allen White) and Mike (Standley Simons).
The wrestling dynasty dealt with highs and lows in the most extreme ways, Kevin’s brothers all dying before their father, sparking the concept of the ‘Von Erich curse’.

Kevin Feige confirms his Star Wars movie has been axed

OHMYGOSSIP — Kevin Feige’s ‘Star Wars’ film has been binned.
Following reports that the Marvel Studios president’s film he was producing for the iconic sci-fi franchise was axed, Feige has confirmed the news.
When asked if he was moving forward with the movie in an interview with ‘Entertainment Tonight’, he simply replied: “No.”
The project was first announced back in 2019 when he teamed up with Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy to “pursue a new era in ‘Star Wars’ storytelling” as the Skywalker Saga came to an end.
At the time, Alan Horn, then Disney Studios co-chairman, said: “We are excited about the projects Kathy and the Lucasfilm team are working on, not only in terms of ‘Star Wars’, but also ‘Indiana Jones’ and reaching into other parts of the company including ‘Children of Blood and Bone’ with Emma Watts and Fox.
“With the close of the Skywalker Saga, Kathy is pursuing a new era in ‘Star Wars’ storytelling, and knowing what a die-hard fan Kevin is, it made sense for these two extraordinary producers to work on a ‘Star Wars’ film together.”
‘Loki’ and ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ scribe Michael Waldron was said to be penning the script.
It was no doubt a big blow, as Feige, 50, is a big fan of the iconic sci-fi series, and ‘Avengers: Endgame’ co-director Joe Russo previously suggested he would make a good movie because the franchise is his “first and true love”.
The 46-year-old filmmaker said: “‘Star Wars’ is Kevin’s first and true love.
“He’s a man who has a very, very large basement filled with enough ‘Star Wars’ paraphernalia to fill a museum. Whatever he does with it is going to be passionate, emotional and unique.”

Vito Coppola calls Ellie Leach ‘my baby’ amid romance rumours

OHMYGOSSIP — Vito Coppola has called Ellie Leach “my baby” amid romance rumours.
The 31-year-old ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ pro has been paired with the 22-year-old former ‘Coronation Street’ actress – who split from her boyfriend in May after he cheated on her – and he has added fuel to the fire with his latest Instagram Story.
Alongside a black and white snap of himself in a white vest, he wrote: “Just finished another day of rehearsal!!! Well done to my baby @ellielouiseleach (sic)”
His post comes after former ‘Strictly’ contestant Amanda Abbington referred to them as the “most beautiful couple” as she praised their recent performance.
Ellie previously admitted “being cheated on was upsetting”, but she was looking forward to putting all her energy into ‘Strictly’ as she tried to regain confidence in herself.
She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Self-confidence is something I’ve always struggled with.
“As an actor, people don’t see that – they think you’re this confident person and you can do anything.
“I’m hoping ‘Strictly’ will bring that for me, push me and make me realise I’m capable of things.”
And she credited Vito with helping her focus on the positives.
She explained: “Vito has taught me so much already. He tells me, ‘It’s a competition with yourself. If you’re tired, fight it, if you’re stressed, fight it’.
“I also don’t praise myself enough, I just focus on the wrong. But then he’ll say to me, ‘Yeah, but you just did that…’ ”
And just last week, the soap star – best known for playing Faye Windass on the cobbles – revealed how Vito and the show have helped with her body confidence.
She told The Sun newspaper: “Vito’s keeping me snacked up. We always have snacks on hand, so we’re definitely eating.
“But I think the physical activity side, I can definitely see the impact it’s having.
“The fact that I’ve been dancing on live TV in front of millions of people is crazy to me.
“I do think it gives you a little bit of that confidence to be like, ‘Oh, as if I’ve done that and as if that’s me.’ ”

Claudia Winkleman ‘almost cried’ when Angela Rippon joined Strictly Come Dancing

OHMYGOSSIP — Claudia Winkleman “almost cried” hearing Angela Rippon was joining ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 51-year-old presenter dubbed it “an honour” that the 79-year-old legendary broadcaster decided to compete in this year’s edition of the BBC One star-studded Latin and ballroom competition, as the host also praised the rest of the “great lineup”.
She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “It’s such an honour that Angela Rippon would say yes, we almost all cried.
“Annabel Croft is a national treasure. Every single one of the celebrities is great. I love the fact that it spans all ages.”
Claudia admitted she doesn’t “know how” the contestants manage to do two dances in one show – which is judged by Shirley Ballas, 63, Craig Revel-Horwood, 58, Motsi Mabuse, 42, and Anton Du Beke, 42 – as it seems like a lot of work.
She added: “I also love it when they go to two routines in one week. I don’t know how they do it. That’s always quite tense.”
The BBC Radio 2 DJ feels she would “be absolutely terrible” on the programme if she ever tried.
She confessed: “I’d be absolutely terrible. I can’t remember what I had for breakfast, let alone where my foot should go.”
‘The Piano’ host praised her co-host Tess Daly, 54, for being the “loveliest person” and the live music set up led by Dave Arch.
Claudia said: “Tess is the loveliest person in the whole world.
“As well as our amazing pros, I have to mention Dave Arch, the work he had his band the live singers do is phenomenal.”
Claudia also gushed about the upcoming tour – which currently includes the likes of ‘Coming Dancing’ presenter, Layton Williams, 29, and Ellie Leach, 22 – and labelled it a fantastic way to conclude the “fab experience” of ‘Strictly’.
She said: “The tour means more sequins – lots and lots of sequins! I couldn’t think of a better way to end this fab experience.”

Sarah Ferguson lined up for This Morning role

OHMYGOSSIP — Sarah Ferguson is reportedly in talks to host ‘This Morning’.
The Duchess of York – who previously joined the ‘Loose Women’ panel to talk about her breast cancer battle – is said to be in the running with ITV bosses following Holly Willoughby’s departure.
An insider told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “The Duchess was a real hit with ITV bosses on Loose Women, everyone thought she was a natural.
“There is an open invitation for her to return to ‘Loose Women’ and there is also talk of her doing a guest slot on ‘This Morning’ or a mini-series for them.
“She has done quite a lot of TV work before – at one point she stood in for Larry King in the US.”
She appeared on ‘This Morning’ back in March, and then-host Holly Willoughby asked if she’s like to return at some point for a “love phone-in”.
She said at the time: “Holly, I would love to do that maybe when you’re back from your annual leave and the Easter holidays!
“But there’s no question, that is right on topic. We love to love.”
Holly left ‘This Morning’ last month in the wake of the Phillip Schofield scandal and a stalker scare, with bosses still trying to decide on a permanent replacement with the likes of Josie Gibson and Alison Hammond appearing for the time being.
Meanwhile, it’s been reported the BBC are eyeing her up to join Bradley and Barney Walsh on the second series of their ‘Gladiators’ reboot.
An insider recently told The Sun: “As she’s such a big star, she’s a natural fit for a huge entertainment show, which the reboot of ‘Gladiators’ unquestionably is.
“The Beeb will let the dust settle on her ‘This Morning’ exit, and for the first series to run, before kicking off talks. But she’s an obvious choice to become the new Ulrika.”

Carol Vorderman quits BBC over new social media rules

OHMYGOSSIP — Carol Vorderman is leaving BBC Wales Radio over new social media guidelines.
The ‘Countdown’ legend admitted she decided to say goodbye to her Saturday morning radio slot as she was “not prepared to lose” her ability to rail against the Conservative government as the BBC tried to make “non-negotiable changes” to her contract amid the Gary Lineker suspension scandal back in March when he called out Suella Braverman’s comments about refugees, which saw ‘Match of the Day’ air without punditry with people walking out in solidarity.
The 62-year-old television personality wrote on X, the site formerly known as Twitter: “The BBC recently introduced new social media guidelines which I respect. However, despite my show being lighthearted with no political content, it was explained to me that as it is a weekly show in my name, the new guidelines would apply to all and any content that I post all year round.
“Since those non-negotiable changes to my radio contract were made, I’ve ultimately found that I’m not prepared to lose my voice on social media, change who I am, or lose the ability to express the strong beliefs I hold about the political turmoil this country finds itself in.”
Carol – who has become more critical in the wake of Brexit and the COVID-19 pandemic – gushed how important she finds to “fight for” her beliefs.
She continued: “I was brought up to fight for what I believe in, and I will carry on. Consequently, I have now breached the new guidelines and BBC Wales management have decided I must leave. We each must make our decisions.”
The ex ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here’ star noted that she will be “sad” to depart the public broadcaster and leave all “the wonderful friends” she made there.
Carol added: “I wish them, and all of our listeners, all the love in the world. We laughed a lot, and we will miss each other dearly.
“But for now, another interesting chapter begins.”
The BBC thanked “for her work and contribution” as Carol bid adieu to her weekend day job.
A representative said: “Carol has been a presenter on BBC Radio Wales since 2018.
“We’d like to thank her for her work and contribution to the station over the past five years.”

‘Ideas come from everywhere’: Christopher Nolan could do anything in his next movie

OHMYGOSSIP — Christopher Nolan is “open to anything” when it comes to his next film.
The 53-year-old director enjoyed extraordinary success with his recent movie ‘Oppenheimer’ and explained that he needs to “own” his next project before bringing it to the big screen.
Speaking to Variety, Christopher said: “Ideas come from everywhere. I’ve done a remake, I’ve made adaptations from comic books and novels, and I’ve written original screenplays. I’m open to anything.
“But as a writer and director, whatever I do, I have to feel like I own it completely. I have to make it original to me: The initial seed of an idea may come from elsewhere, but it has to go through my fingers on a keyboard and come out through my eyes alone.”
‘Oppenheimer’ was released too much fanfare this summer and Nolan felt that the project caught “a wave” by being released alongside ‘Barbie’ – a move that led to the ‘Barbenheimer’ phenomenon.
The ‘Inception’ filmmaker said: “With certain films, your timing is just right in ways that you never could have predicted.
“When you start making a film, you’re two or three years out from when it’s going to be released, so you’re trying to hit a moving target as far as the interest of the audience. But sometimes you catch a wave and the story you’re telling is one people are waiting for.”
‘Oppenheimer’ told the story of the “father of the atomic bomb” J. Robert Oppenheimer (Cillian Murphy) and Nolan thinks that the movie resonated with audiences as the threat of nuclear weapons is constantly lingering.
He said: “The awful truth about nuclear weapons is that concern about them ebbs and flows with the geopolitical situation. But it shouldn’t.
“The threat is always present, but sometimes an event will happen that brings it more front of mind. But that’s not how it should be; it’s a danger that hovers over the planet and will never go away.”

‘We lost some focus’: Bob Iger urges Disney to prioritise quality content

OHMYGOSSIP — Bob Iger thinks it is essential for Disney to focus on quality rather than quantity.
The company has suffered disappointments at the box office this year with ‘Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny’ and ‘Haunted Mansion’ and Iger appeared to criticise his short-lived predecessor Bob Chapek’s decision to increase production in both TV and film amid the uncertainty of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Disney chief is quoted by The Hollywood Reporter as saying: “That said, as I looked at our overall output, meaning the studio, it’s clear that the pandemic created a lot of challenges creatively for everybody, including for us.
“In addition, at the time the pandemic hit, we were leaning into a huge increase in how much we were making and I’ve always felt that quantity can actually be a negative when it comes to quality. And I think that’s exactly what happened. We lost some focus.”
Disney could face more trouble at the box office as superhero movie ‘The Marvels’ is projected to have a difficult opening but Iger is “optimistic” about the company’s performance going forward.
The 72-year-old executive – who returned to Disney last year after Chapek was ousted as CEO – said: “We’re all rolling up our sleeves, including myself, to do just that. We have obviously great assets, great stories to tell from the assets that we either have or that we purchased.
“And I feel really optimistic about the slate going forward, which is going to be a balance between some really strong sequels to some very, very popular titles, as well as some good original content, starting with ‘Wish’, which comes out Thanksgiving weekend.
“So I feel good about the direction we’re headed. But I’m mindful of the fact that our performance from a quality perspective wasn’t really up to the standards that we set for ourselves.”

Stacey Solomon returning to Loose Women

OHMYGOSSIP — Stacey Solomon will reportedly be returning to ‘Loose Women’ next week.
The 34-year-old TV star took time off following the birth of her daughter Belle, eight months, but now a new report suggests Stacey will be making her big return to the talk show next Wednesday (08.11.23) as she’s now ready to get back to work following her maternity leave.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Stacey is juggling work offers and is busier than ever but told her team to prioritise her return to ‘Loose Women’.
“For her the show feels like home and she loves all the cast, so is gagging to be back in the fold. She’s a huge part of the show’s future so everyone is so excited to welcome her back.”
Stacey has been a regular on the ITV show since 2016 and has made more than 350 appearances on the panel but she has not been seen on the series since December 2022.
ITV bosses recently cleared up reports suggesting Stacey might never return to the panel, telling the Mirror newspaper: “We are looking forward to welcoming Stacey back onto the show soon.”
During an appearance on ‘Lorraine’ earlier this year, Stacey admitted she feels honoured to be a part of ‘Loose Women’ and hinted she will return at some point.
She said: “When I was on ‘X Factor’ 14 years ago … I never even thought I’d be on a show like this, never mind have opportunities like ‘Sort Your Life Out’ and ‘Loose Women’.
“So every time I get to do something like that I’m genuinely like ‘thank goodness, this is amazing!’ You’ve just got to keep enjoying it because you never know when it’ll be gone and when those things aren’t going to be there.”

Marvin Humes eyed for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

OHMYGOSSIP — Marvin Humes is set to take part in ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’.
The ‘Hit List’ presenter – who has Alaia, 10, Valentina, six, and three-year-old Blake with wife Rochelle Humes – is seen by producers as having appeal to all generations thanks to both his TV work and his music with ‘Beat Again’ hitmakers JLS.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s TV Biz column: “Marvin would be a brilliant signing.
“Not only is he known to fans of ‘The X Factor’ and fans of JLS, but the audience for ‘The Hit List’ and ‘This Morning’ spans from kids right through older viewers.
“And with Rochelle’s backing, he’s got a ready made fan base.
“He’ll have lots of showbiz stories to tell, too, from his 15 years in the limelight.
“The fact he’s remained a bit of a pin-up doesn’t hurt, either, and bosses hope he’ll make use of the jungle shower!”
If Marvin does take part in the show, it will add to speculation he and Rochelle are being eyed for the vacant permanent presenter roles on ‘This Morning’ following the departures of Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.
An insider said: “ITV has sometimes used the jungle to test out talent on their audience, or boost a star’s profile ahead of future plans on the channel.
“Marvin is currently 25-1 outsider for Phil’s ‘This Morning’ job but his talks for ‘I’m A Celeb’ will have tongues wagging.”
Other stars in the frame for the 23rd series of the show – which is set to begin later this month – include jockey Frankie Dettori, soap stars Danielle Harold and Nick Pickard, controversial politician Nigel Farage, and ‘This Morning’ host Josie Gibson.
A spokesperson said: “Any names suggested for ‘I’m a Celebrity’ are speculation.”

Barbara Broccoli says James Bond is undergoing ‘whole new reinvention’

OHMYGOSSIP — Barbara Broccoli says it will take “some time” to bring James Bond back to the big screen because the character is to undergo a “whole new reinvention”.
Movie bosses are currently on the hunt for a new actor to play 007 after Daniel Craig bowed out of the role following his final turn in 2021’s ‘No Time to Die’ and longtime producer Barbara has admitted fans will have to be patient because the Bond franchise is going through some huge changes.
According to Variety, she said: “It’s gonna take a while for us to get – you know, it’s a whole new reinvention. So it’ll take some time.”
Barbara has been busy working on James Bond-themed game show ‘007: Road to a Million’ which features ‘Succession’ actor Brian Cox playing a shadowy villain handing out challenges to contestants in locations across the world linked to the superspy franchise.
Cox has admitted he would have loved to have played Bond villain on the big screen and initially thought the role in the TV show was actually a casting for a new movie.
He told the outlet: “I should have realised that [they[ haven’t got a new James Bond so why would they be casting a villain? But I thought: ‘This might be my big moment to play a Bond villain.’ I’ve always wanted to play a Bond villain.
Brian added of Bond: “I always loved Roger Moore because Roger Moore was so witty. Bond got less witty as he went on and became quite serious. I was in the Bourne films and I think the Bourne films may have had an effect on the Bond [films]. I’m not sure.”
‘007: Road to a Million’ launches on Prime Video on November 10 and a second series is already in the works. However, Barbara insisted there are no plans for James Bond himself to be seen in a small screen spin-off.
She added: “I don’t think so. I think it’s the big cinema screen basically. This has been a lot of fun and we’d love this to continue but I think that’s probably it.”
