‘I’m taking the small win!’ Jonnie Irwin allowed home from hospital after test results

OHMYGOSSIP — Jonnie Irwin was hospitalised this week amid his terminal cancer battle, but his liver function is now “heading in the right direction”.
The 49-year-old TV star was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer in 2020 – which has since spread to his brain – but he is taking a “small win” from this week after he was allowed home from hospital.
He wrote on Instagram: “Well the blood tests and scans today show my liver function is heading in the right direction There’s bigger issues we will have to confront in a couple of weeks but for now I’m allowed home. I’m taking the small win for now. Rex tried to stay up to welcome me home but couldn’t quite stay awake bless him, although Reggie and Ronnie were wide awake so I got to them a story. Big big thanks to all the doctors and nurses who looked after me I’m so grateful to be home. (sic)”
Earlier this week, Jonnie told how he had been readmitted to hospital with jaundice, fever and an “acute stabbing pain” in his right-hand side, for which he needed to be observed every four hours.
He posted: “Back in hospital – been in since Friday with Jaundice. I had a fever and acute stabbing pain in my right hand side. Turns out I probably had an infection and otter issues which I won’t bore you with. Been on drips, regular bloods taken and have observations every 4 ours through day and night. Didn’t think I’d be watching @bbcmorninglive from a hospital bed but it’s just part of the roller coaster life that this illness throws at you I must admit I was especially touched by the birthday message from the the team for my birthday this coming Friday- thanks very much. X. I have another scan today followed by a meeting with my oncologist so fingers crossed for positive news (sic)”
Jonnie recently told how he was given just days to live in May.
He told The Sun newspaper: “I was in a lot of back pain and very weak. I was spending hours just lying there sleeping and all the signs were there that it could be the end.
“One day, the oncologist, hospice doctors and a couple of nurses came in and started telling me to go home and spend time with my family.
“The penny didn’t drop at first. My ears only heard, ‘You’re going home’ because I was pretty out of it. It was only later I thought, ‘They were telling me I’m done’.”
But the former ‘A Place in the Sun’ host refused to give up on life.
He said: “It could have been the end, but I thought, ‘No, that’s not me, that’s not happening’.
“When I got home I made myself get out of bed, no matter how bad I felt, and spent time with Jess and the boys.
“Don’t get me wrong, there were times I said to Jess, ‘I think I’m dying’ because I felt too weak to go on.”

‘I can’t pretend!’ I’m A Celebrity’s Nigel Farage expects ‘frosty’ reception from fellow campmates

OHMYGOSSIP — Nigel Farage is expecting a “frosty” reception from his fellow ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ campmates.
The former UK Independence Party (UKIP) and Brexit Party leader – who is rumoured to be earning £1.5 million for the show – is hoping his time in the Australian jungle will “dispel” some of people’s “misconceptions” about him, but he is expecting a tough initial reaction.
He said: “What will be interesting is the perception the other campers will have of me.
“They will go in with their preconceived ideas and it might be a little bit frosty – we will just have to see.
“I can’t pretend to be anyone other than who I am, I never have. But I survived for 20 years in the European Parliament with all sorts of people trying to trip me up, so I am used to that.
“The idea that somehow the things I represent – mean-spirited, small-minded, nasty, the ‘little Englander’ – all those accusations that have been flung at me over the years just aren’t true.
“If we can dispel some of those misconceptions, then that will be a good thing too.”
Nigel also wants to find out who he “really is” on the reality show, and he is hopeful of achieving similar success to former Health Secretary Matt Hancock, who finished third on the programme last year.
He said: “I want to test myself. Business, politics, media, I’ve done so many different jobs and generally I have been reasonably successful. But I have never been tested in quite this way.
“It’s such a mental test and maybe I will discover who I really am.
“I understood why Matt Hancock did it. He went in there with his reputation on the floor.
“The truth is after the banking issue I raised a few months ago, I was standing up for a million people who had lost their bank accounts, then winning at the TRIC awards, I am going in at a different stage of my career.”
Nigel isn’t expecting to get on with all his campmates – who will include the likes of This Morning’s Josie Gibson, First Dates’ star Fred Siriex, JLS singer Marvin Humes, and NTA award-winning former ‘EastEnders’ actress Danielle Harold – but hopes he can cheer up some of his fellow stars if they are “feeling down”.
He said: “I am hoping to have some good times, a good laugh and I am sure I won’t get on with everybody, but I just think it’s going to be an incredible experience doing ‘I’m A Celebrity’.
“I will give as good as I get! I hopefully can cheer people up when they are feeling down and muck in, too. But I do snore a bit!”
‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ will return on ITV1 and ITVX from Sunday 19 November at 9pm.

Richard Arnold heading Down Under for I’m A Celebrity role

OHMYGOSSIP — Richard Arnold is heading to Australia after landing an ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ role.
The ‘Good Morning Britain’ entertainment editor will be going Down Under this week to report on the new series of the ITV show, which will see the likes of ‘This Morning’ star Josie Gibson and former UKIP leader Nigel Farage enter the camp.
Speaking on ‘GMB’ on Tuesday (14.11.23), he said: “I’m not going to be here for the next three weeks.
“I’m off, I’ve got the hat which clearly doesn’t fit.
“More like Windy Miller, for those that are old enough to remember. I’m not going in [to the jungle], but I thought I’d stay in a hotel just around the corner!”
Richard will be getting all the latest gossip from the campmates’ family members in Australia.
He added: “I’ll be rubbing shoulders with the friends and family for three weeks, possibly having the odd refreshing beverage but making sure I’m sober by 4 o’clock.
“Breakfast TV made at four o’clock in the afternoon, utter bliss.
“It’s a fun gig. I’ve done it a couple of times before, but it’s when you find yourself having a drink with Stanley Johnson, or you’re minding Becky Vardy’s children, which I ended up doing. It’s quite surreal.”
Richard is no stranger to chatting to TV stars in his ‘GMB’ role, and can often be seen on a soap set interviewing the cast ahead of a special episode.
Former ‘EastEnders’ actress Danielle Harold is one of the 10 stars who will enter the jungle on Sunday (19.11.23), but she hopes her fellow former Albert Square residents won’t vote for her to do all of the Bushtucker Trials.
She said: “They are going to love it when they find out I’m doing this.
“And I’m sure they won’t be able to wait for me to get back and take the mickey out of me!
“I am looking forward to getting stuck into the trials but at the same time, I hope they don’t vote for me to do all of them!
“There is always someone every year who people love to watch and I hope it isn’t me.”

Dynamo to team up with Cara Delevingne and Demi Lovato for ‘most outrageous stunt yet’

OHMYGOSSIP — Dynamo is teaming up with Cara Delevingne, Demi Lovato and Tyson Fury for his “most outrageous stunt yet”.
The ‘Dynamo: Magician Impossible’ star, 40, has asked for help from the ‘Only Murders in the Building’ star, 31, the ‘Cool For the Summer’ hitmaker, 31, and the 35-year-old boxer – who have all battled health conditions similar to the magician – to help him dig himself out of his own grave on ‘Dynamo Is Dead’, a live two-hour TV special on Sky Max next month.
An insider told The Sun newspaper’s TV Biz column: “This will be Dynamo’s most outrageous stunt yet and one not to be missed.
“He’s walked on water and levitated above skyscrapers, but never before has he worked his magic underground.
“The show culminates in Dynamo laying himself to rest, sparking this new era of his life with his trouble put firmly behind him.”
Dynamo – whose real name is Steven Frayne – will also have a chat with ‘Dragons’ Den’ star and podcaster Steven Barlett, 31, about some of his own struggles, like his arthritis and Crohn’s disease.
In the programme – which will air on December 14 – he says: “Arthritis affected all the joints in my body – my toes, my knees, my neck, my ankles, my hands, which really sucked, because I am a magician …  when you can’t shuffle a pack of cards because your hands are in so much pain, which has happened on the odd occasion.”
The TV star appeared on screen with his Sky One series ‘Beyond Belief’ in 2020, which he dubbed as “part-magic show, part-documentary about my struggle with my illness”.

‘It was so scary’ Arabella Chi ‘can’t sleep’ and suffering from nightmares after roadside attack

OHMYGOSSIP — Arabella Chi “can’t sleep” and has been suffering nightmares following an horrific roadside attack in Spain.
The former ‘Love Island’ star has been left shaken following a “scary” carjacking last week, when she was dragged out of her motor and robbed.
The 32-year-old model told The Sun newspaper: “It was so scary, and I’ve been having nightmares about being dragged out of bed, just like I was from the car.
“I was petrified when it happened, but now I know they’d been watching us and waiting to attack us, it is even more horrible to think about.”
Arabella – who is currently romantically linked to Manchester City footballer Ruben Dias, 26 – detailed how she and her dad Paul were spotted by the thugs zooming off the ferry from Ibiza to Barcelona.
They had their tyres slashed by a gang, who then “approached” them with a “friendly” air.
She said: “We think they’d got us at the first set of lights, and we’d not noticed. It was clever of them.
“As I pulled off from the lights, I could see the tyre pressure dropping really quickly on the car’s computer.
“We got out of the car and got our electric pump out when four men approached us.
“I thought they were being friendly, as they were telling us where a garage was, but now I know they were scoping out the car.
“Even though I have blacked-out windows, they could have seen it was packed full of luggage and I think they wanted that.”
The ex ‘Celebs Go Dating’ star detailed how she and her father devised a plan – which involved Paul going in an Uber to a petrol station to get help, and she remained in the locked car to protect their belongings – but the thugs then struck.
Arabella said: “Hearing the doors unlock makes me feel sick. I was terrified.
“I remember the lights flashing. This man was grabbing my arm and pulling me out.
“He was shouting at me and saying he was going to take me to a garage to help me. I started screaming, ‘Get off me, get off me’.
“As he was pulling me out, I was trying to stay in the car and shut the door so I could lock it again, but my hands were frozen.
“At the same time, the other door opened but I didn’t see it. I was making such a racket that after a few seconds, he just let go and walked off really calmly.
“I locked the doors again, not that that would have made any difference, and I rang my dad and was screaming and crying.
“I was petrified. I thought they might be going to get more people then come back to get me.
“I knew they could unlock the car and I was by myself. That is what I find so scary, I don’t know what they would have done if they’d come back.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Scarlett Moffatt is engaged following the “most perfect proposal”.
The ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ winner is set to tie the knot her “soulmate” and long-time boyfriend Scott Dobinson, 36, after he got down on one knee amid a romantic set-up in their living room, which involved their five-month-old son Jude.
The 33-year-old reality TV star posted on Instagram: “Mondays are my new favourite day. Walked in to find my soulmate on one knee, with baby Jude wearing the cutest outfit, asking the question, “Mammy will you marry Daddy.” The most perfect proposal in my favourite place, our home [white heart emoji] (sic)”
Scarlett gushed about being “on cloud nine” following the romantic gesture from her police officer fiance in their Newcastle home.
She continued: “I truly am on cloud nine, feel so lucky, it feels incredible being able to share this with you all, I always wished for this.”
The ex ‘Gogglebox’ star and her betrothed were congratulated by some of the most famous faces in British TV, such as ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race UK’ judge Michelle Visage.
The 55-year-old television personality commented: “CONGRATS MY LOVE!!!! (sic)”

Broadcaster Steph McGovern, 41, wrote: “Congratulations.”

Scarlett also took to social media in June to express her disbelief at finally becoming a mother to her “darling boy”.
She wrote on Instagram: “Jude Xavier Dobinson. My darling boy I can’t stop crying looking at you as I can’t quite believe you’re mine. You wanted to meet us early at just 35 weeks. Me and your daddy love you so much that I can’t even put this feeling into words. (sic)”

‘It has to be fresh’: Tom Blyth refused to imitate Donald Sutherland’s Hunger Games performance

OHMYGOSSIP — Tom Blyth tried not to mimic Donald Sutherland in ‘The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes’.
The 28-year-old actor stars in the new dystopian prequel as Coriolanus Snow and deliberately ignored Sutherland’s portrayal of the President of Panem in the original movies.
Tom told a virtual press conference for the film: “Yeah, I kind of had to reserve or refrain myself from going down the rabbit hole of watching all those movies again and watching his performance again.
“Obviously the first instinct I had was to try and recreate it somehow or to nod to it in a kind of savvy way. But the thing is that’s never going to be slick. It’s never going to be savvy. Everyone’s going to be like, ‘It feels like you’re copying a performance that has already been great.'”
He continued: “The minute as an actor you try to recreate anything that works, whether it’s something you’ve done or something another actor has done, it’s the death of spontaneity, and you just can’t recreate. It has to be fresh and it has to be in that moment.
“So very early on I kind of put that to the side and Francis (Lawrence) and I talked about making my own and also just asking what drives him now as opposed to what drives him later on when he is president and a dictator and a tyrant.”
‘The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes’ takes place 64 years before the other movies and Blyth thinks that audiences will be gripped by Snow’s transformation into a ruthless despot.
He said: “I think what fans are drawn to as a character is seeing that he’s not just one thing, he ends up as a tyrant, but 64 years before that he was something else entirely. And the interesting part is seeing what he goes through to get there.”

‘Why gloat over failure?’: Stephen King slams mockery of The Marvels

OHMYGOSSIP — Stephen King has hit out at those “gloating” about the box office failure of ‘The Marvels’.
Nia DaCosta’s superhero film has experienced the worst-ever opening weekend for a Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) blockbuster and the legendary horror author has criticised the “unpleasant” reaction to the movie’s troubles – even though he is not a fan of Marvel films himself.
King wrote on X: “I don’t go to MCU movies, don’t care for them, but I find this barely masked gloating over the low box office for ‘The Marvels’ very unpleasant. Why gloat over failure?”
The 76-year-old author – who has penned classic stories including ‘Carrie’ and ‘Misery’ – also suggested that the negative attitude towards the flick could be a result of “adolescent fanboy hate”.
King added: “Some of the rejection of ‘The Marvels’ may be adolescent fanboy hate. You know, ‘Yuck! GIRLS!'”
‘The Marvels’ is unique as the cast is led by three female stars – Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris and Iman Vellani – and the former has been open about having to deal with trolls since she was first cast in the role of Captain Marvel.
However, Brie’s co-star Samuel L. Jackson – who plays Nick Fury – explained that the actress will not be cowed by the toxicity of social media.
He told Rolling Stone: “She’s not going to let any of that stuff destroy her.
“These incel dudes who hate strong women, or the fact that she’s a feminist who has an opinion and expressed it? Everybody wants people to be who they want them to be. She is who she is, and she’s genuinely that.”

The ‘Loose Women’ panellist and Mark Dunford – who wed in 1990 and have children Louis, 31, and Roberta, 27, together – have gone their separate ways, but Linda insisted she “feels fine”.
Speaking about her relationship with Mark, Linda – who also has a daughter Lauren, 40, with her ex Tony Tyler – told Woman magazine: “He’s a really good dad and we had some good years, but enough is enough.
“I’ve got my family and my kids around me. And I’m going on a cruise with Lesley Joseph in November. I’m keeping busy. I feel fine.
“I’m just going away on trips all the time.”
But Linda isn’t interested in looking for a new man, admitting she “can’t be a****” with dating.
She added: “I’m not interested [in dating] honestly. I can’t be a**** with all that.”
In 2017, Linda told how her marriage nearly ended during a “tough few years”.
The ‘Birds of a Feather’ star told The Sunday Mirror newspaper at the time: “I love him. We’ve had a few tough years when we could have easily called it a day, but we didn’t.
“We just get on really well, we love our kids and our grandkids more than anything else in the world.”
Their union was also tested when Linda’s father died in 1997 at the age of 57, just one week after being diagnosed with lung cancer.
She said: “He died within a week and he was so young. I had just given birth to Bobbie but you just have to be strong and get on with it.”

Vernon Kay was ‘really nervous’ before he kicked off BBC Children in Need Ultramarathon

OHMYGOSSIP — Vernon Kay was “really nervous” before he kicked off his ULTRA Ultramarathon in aid of BBC Children in Need on Tuesday (14.11.23).
The 49-year-old broadcaster admitted he was “smiling all day” hours before he began his four-day, 115-mile challenge – which works out as a marathon a day – on Tuesday, but the nerves hit him just moments before he placed his first steps.
Vernon kicked off his Ultramarathon from Leicester’s Victoria Park, and he will run to Bolton Wanderers’ Toughsheet Community Stadium in his hometown on Friday morning (17.11.23).
Just minutes before the challenge got underway, he told Zoe Ball, 52, on BBC Radio 2’s ‘The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show’: “I’m smiling because I’m trying to keep warm as it’s freezing in Leicester. I’ve been smiling all morning, and now my smile is stuck to my face.
“To be honest, I was excited last night, we had a big team dinner and a big meeting, and now I’m feeling really nervous. The moment has arrived, we’re going live on Radio 2 on Zoe Ball but the nerves have built and built, and now I’m thinking have I done enough training for this epic challenge, I think I have. We’re about to find out!”
Vernon – who is married to ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ host Tess Daly, 54, with who he has two daughters, Phoebe, 19, and Amber, 13 – quipped that his training allowed him to do his “finest impression” of Forrest Gump, the titular character from the 1994 film starring Tom Hanks.
He said: “I’ve just been running. I’ve been doing my finest Forrest Gump impression.
“Lots of miles under the belt, different tempos. I’ve been doing long runs at a slow pace, short runs and a fast rate, and a fast run at a slow rate, and a long run at a fast pace.
“I’ve done lots of stretching, oh crikey. Do you remember that toy in the 70s and 80s Stretch Armstrong? I feel like that.
“I’ve been pulled, I’ve been manipulated, a fella got right into my calves which was really painful but really good and beneficial, I’m feeling the benefits of that now.
“Everyone is really excited. We have a lot of people who will join us. A fella says he’s going to chase me out of the city of Leicester, which is quite nice so a few people are joining me. I’m really excited.
“That’s going to ramp me up and get me motivated to raise as much money as possible for Children in Need.”

Tom and Jenkin leave the Big Brother House

OHMYGOSSIP — Tom and Jenkin have been evicted from ‘Big Brother’.
The duo have become the latest contestants to leave the house, while Jordan has been saved by the public following a vote.
Jenkin, Jordan and Tom were all ‘fake’ evicted in recent days – but they were actually sent to Big Brother’s Last Chance Jail House, where they were able to watch their fellow housemates before the results of the vote were revealed.
In his final comments to the other housemates, Jenkin said: “My opinions have changed of you all. I feel like I’m watching a children’s programme. You all need to stay true to yourselves.”
Meanwhile, Tom confessed to having mixed feelings about his housemates and what he’d witnessed over recent days.
He said: “It feels like you guys are losing yourselves a bit now. But I do genuinely wish you all the best!”
Jenkin was actually the first contestant to join the new ‘Big Brother’ house, and he previously claimed that he only applied to be on the show because he felt bored.
Asked why he wanted to appear on ‘Big Brother’, he replied: “I was bored and I thought I’d do something different, give it a whirl.”
Jekin also confessed to feeling nervous about appearing on the show.
The 25-year-old barman – who hails from Bridgend in Wales – said: “I’m looking forward to it but I’m also dreading it as well because I’m like, ‘Oh, how is this gonna go…’ but it will be fine.”

Sarah Ferguson ‘was in talks’ for I’m A Celebrity

OHMYGOSSIP — Sarah, Duchess of York was reportedly in talks to sign up for ‘I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here!’ this year.
The 64-year-old royal is said to have been interested in heading to Australia to take part in the jungle survival series, but negotiations with ITV bosses are believed to have broken down when she insisted she wouldn’t talk about her ex-husband Prince Andrew.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Execs pulled out all the stops to get a huge name and were agonisingly close to sealing the deal with the Duchess.
“But part of the attraction of getting someone with an interesting life story is that there’s always the possibility of sharing it with the campmates.
“For Fergie, the prospect of being put on the spot with millions watching at home was just too much. Neither side was willing to budge in the end.”
The stars of the 2023 series have been unveiled and they include former UK Independence Party (UKIP) and Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage as well as ‘This Morning’ host Josie Gibson, ‘First Dates’ star Fred Siriex, JLS singer Marvin Humes, and NTA award-winning former ‘EastEnders’ actress Danielle Harold.
Farage – who is rumoured to be earning £1.5 million for the show – is hoping his time in the Australian jungle will “dispel” some of people’s “misconceptions” about him, but he is expecting a tough initial reaction. Taika Waititi won’t return to direct Thor 5

OHMYGOSSIP — Taika Waititi won’t be involved in ‘Thor 5’.
The 48-year-old filmmaker – who directed ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ and ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’, while also co-writing the latter – has confirmed he isn’t returning for a potential next instalment in the Marvel franchise as he looks to focus on other projects.
Asked about reports a fifth film is being developed, Waititi – who helmed the last two movies in the series – told Business Insider: “I wouldn’t know if that’s accurate. I know that I won’t be involved.”
Instead, he explained he will focus on other projects he’s already got in the pipeline.
He added: “I’m going to concentrate on these other films that I’ve signed on for.”
As well as a movie adaptation of Alejandro Jodorowsky’s graphic novel ‘The Incal’, his own ‘Star Wars’ movie is “still marinating” as he continues to develop the project.
Before those, he’s also planning to adapt Kazuo Ishiguro’s novel ‘Klara and the Sun’ – which follows the titular robot, who is designed to prevent loneliness in teenagers – as his next film.
He admitted: “So that’s six, seven years gone. I’d imagine another ‘Thor’ would be a lot sooner than that.
“But I love Marvel, I love working with them. I love Chris [Hemsworth].”
If the studio and Hemsworth decided to push on with another ‘Thor’ film without Waititi being involved, he has insisted there would be no ill will.
He laughed: “I would never feel like they are cheating on me.
“We’re in an open relationship, and it’s like if they want to see other people, I’m happy for that. I’d still get back into bed with them one day.”
In the meantime, Waititi is open to new and unexpected ideas, such as new film ‘Next Goal Wins’, which tells the story of Michael Fassbender as Dutch-American coach Thomas Rongen as he looks to improve the results of the American Samoa national football team – ranked as one of the weakest teams on the planet.
Discussing how he never thought he’d make a sports movie, he recently told Empire magazine: “Especially not about a sport that I’m not passionate about.
“I love watching the games, I just don’t follow any teams, I don’t care about who’s playing.
“My main thing was to represent the players and the people of the Pacific Islands more.”

Scarlett Johansson would like to play zombie version of Black Widow

OHMYGOSSIP — Scarlett Johansson would like to play a zombie version of Black Widow.
The 38-year-old actress first appeared as the Marvel character – also known as Natasha Romanof – in 2010’s ‘Iron Man 2’ and reprised the role in eight films. The character was killed off in ‘Avengers: Endgame’ but returned for solo prequel ‘Black Widow’ in 2021 and now Scarlett fears she’s run out of ways to play Black Widow.
During an appearance on the ‘Today’ show , she was asked if she could possibly revive the character and she replied: “Like a loophole? I feel like that’s kind of the end, right? Like can you come back? Could it be a vampire version of the character? Cause I’m here for that, like a zombie version, maybe.”
Host Al Roker then asked whether she had been approached by movie bosses about the possibility of a return and she responded by saying: “You really ask the hard questions. I feel like I have to tell you, but I actually don’t have to tell you, Al. I do not, but I want to so bad.”
In another conversation with host Savannah Guthrie, Scarlett admitted she couldn’t see a way back for the character but a return would not be impossible. She conceded: “It would be a real Marvel miracle. It would be a marvel, but who knows? I’m not sure.”
It comes after fellow Marvel star Tom Hiddleston hinted his time-travelling character Loki could make a return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe despite being killed off onscreen.
During an appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’, the actor – who reprised Loki for a spin-off series on Disney Plus – explained: “I mean … time-slipping technically gives Loki some interesting moves he can make. Speaking for myself, Loki’s died a few times. I’m still here. I don’t know that death is necessarily … I mean death is – death is up for grabs, as an existential question! That’s all I can give you!”

In a statement, Roman said: “The first series was so much fun; I had such a laugh filming, and we had some great contestants.
“There were some shocking answers, but that’s what happens when your adrenaline is pumping and you’re under a time pressure.
“I’m so excited to be hosting again and returning to Northern Ireland.
“I love that it’s done so well with the audience, it’s challenging and unpredictable; we know that viewers will be hooked once again!”

“I know I speak for all of us on the show when I say we can’t wait to get back into the studio for more quickfire questions, nail-biting finishes and lots of laughs on Series 2 of ‘The Finish Line!’ ”
Meanwhile, Roman previously admitted he had to improve his style to fit BBC television.
He explained to The Sun: “Even though I do quizzes every day on the radio, it is intimidating and certainly a skill to do this show — it’s just one I had to learn.
“My relationship with Sarah isn’t serious, we’re pretty cheeky on set.
“The only serious thing is that I had to wear more reserved clothing but that’s just BBC clothing. I can’t go on there looking how I look on ‘Gogglebox.’ ”

Miriam Margolyes reveals why she turns down big money offers for Strictly and I’m A Celeb

OHMYGOSSIP — Miriam Margolyes has refused to take part in ‘Strictly Come Dancing.’
The 82-year-old actress revealed in her new memoir ‘Oh, Miriam!’ that she had been offered a lucrative place on the BBC Latin and ballroom show in the past but joked that the bosses must have been “f****** nuts” to think of her in the first place.
Speaking on the ‘Dish’ podcast, she told hosts Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett: “I only wrote it ’cause they offered me a lot of money. That’s true, that’s absolutely true! Well, when you’re old and you know that your earning potential is diminishing. You’ve got to get the money while you can.
“I won’t do that, what do you call it? The dancing thing. Yeah, they must have been f****** nuts.
The ‘Harry Potter’ star – who outside of her acting career has taken part in ‘The Real Marigold Hotel’ for the BBC as well as a string of other travel documentaries – went on to reveal that she has even been asked to compete on ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! in the past but did not appear to give the idea any thought as she quipped she is too “classy” to spend weeks living in the Australian outback with other famous faces.
She said: “And they asked me to go in the jungle. I’ve got class, love. I’m not doing that.”
Her comments come just as it has been announced that politician Nigel Farage, Britney Spears’ sister Jamie Lynn Spears, ‘Hollyoaks’ actor Nick Pritchard, JLS singer Marvin Humes, ‘This Morning’ host Josie Gibson, and ‘Made in Chelsea’ star Sam Thompson will all be heading Down Under to compete in the jungle.
They will be joined by former ‘EastEnders’ actress Danielle Harold, ‘First Dates’ star Fred Siriex and YouTuber Nella Rose as they all endure tasks and compete in Bushtucker Trials in a bid to become the next King of Queen of the Jungle.
