Daisy Ridley ‘petrified’ by Star Wars return

OHMYGOSSIP — Daisy Ridley felt “petrified” and “overwhelmed” when her return to the ‘Star Wars’ universe was confirmed.
The 31-year-old actress shot to fame playing Rey in 2015’s ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ and she returned for two more films, but it was recently announced she will be reprising her role for another movie – which will be directed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy – and Daisy has admitted she was worried about the response from fans.
She told The Hollywood Reporter: “When I was at Sundance, I did not know … I had a breakfast with Kathy [Kennedy] that I thought was just breakfast.
“And then it [the new movie] was mentioned, so I thought about it. I loved the story, and I was like, ‘Okay.’ Things then happened quite quickly, and it felt like I was instantaneously on a stage being introduced by Sharmeen.
“It honestly took me back to being 20 or 21, however old I was, when [Star Wars: The Force Awakens] was announced. I was petrified, I was overwhelmed, I was really nervous but the response was really wonderful.”
Daisy went on to reveal she hasn’t seen the script for the new movie, but she knows the storyline and is thrilled to be returning as Rey.
She added: “I’m genuinely really excited about the next one. I haven’t read anything, but I know the story. It’s really worth telling, worth exploring, and I think people will be excited.”
Daisy echoed the comments in an interview with Collider in which she added: “I was so nervous. Oh my God. It was such a wonderful reception. I’m very excited. The story is really cool. I’m waiting to read a script because, obviously, I don’t have any other updates. It’s not what I expected, but I’m very excited.”
The new movie was announced during the ‘Star Wars Celebration’ in London earlier this year when it was revealed the film will be set 15 years after 2019’s ‘Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker’.
Director Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy explained the film will “tell the story of rebuilding the New Jedi Order and the powers that rise to tear it down”. She added: “I’ve always been attracted to the hero’s journey and the fact that the world needs many more heroes.” The filmmaker added she had been immersing herself in a Jedi Academy with a “powerful Jedi master”.
The event also revealed two other ‘Star Wars’ films in the pipeline, including one from James Mangold and another from ‘The Mandalorian’ executive producer Dave Filoni and producer Jon Favreau. ‘Logan’ filmmaker James will be delving into the past to tell the tale of the first Jedi to “wield the Force and harness it as a liberating power in an era of chaos and oppression”, while the third film will be set in the present, and will document the escalating war between the Imperial Remnant and the fledgling New Republic in a plot that promises to “being together many of the threats of the ‘Star Wars’ original series”.

Matt Bomer turned down playing Ken in the blockbuster Barbie movie

OHMYGOSSIP — Matt Bomer turned down playing Ken in ‘Barbie’.
Despite auditioning to play the doll in Greta Gerwig’s live-action blockbuster based on the famous Mattel dolls Barbie and Ken, the 46-year-old star rejected the part, “choosing not to spend extensive time away from his family.”
He told Vanity Fair magazine: “I recorded it on my own, played a bunch of different Kens — and I dressed differently for all of them.
“I recorded the lines of the other person’s dialogue on my recorder and then gave myself space to respond.”
Ryan Gosling, 43, played stereotypical Ken in the movie and Margot Robbie, 33, played the main Barbie.
Other Kens were played by Simu Liu, Chris Taylor, Tom Stourton, Rob Brydon, John Cena, Scott Evans, and Ncuti Gatwa.
Luke Macfarlane, 43, also revealed he was being considered for Ken.
However, landing the role of Charlie in ‘Platonic’ got in the way.
He told The Hollywood Reporter: “Yeah, the timing couldn’t work out for both. I’m not trying to sound boastful. It was a small, little part, but I’ve never been part of some beautiful, big, cool thing like that. It would have been cool to be able to do both.”
Amy Schumer, 42, and Anne Hathaway, 41, were initially in talks with Sony and Mattel to star in a ‘Barbie’ film with a whole other story.
Amy admitted she was totally “bummed” to drop out of the movie, even though she had been targeted by trolls in the wake of her casting, an online attack which she laughed off with her usual wit.
In a statement, she said: “Sadly, I’m no longer able to commit to ‘Barbie’ due to scheduling conflicts. The film has so much promise, and Sony and Mattel have been great partners. I’m bummed, but look forward to seeing Barbie on the big screen.”

Christopher Nolan needs lighter project after ‘bleak’ Oppenheimer

OHMYGOSSIP — Christopher Nolan wants to make something “not quite as bleak” after ‘Oppenheimer’.
The iconic filmmaker admitted working on the nuclear drama – which told the story of the “father of the atomic bomb” J. Robert Oppenheimer (Cillian Murphy) – was “a great privilege”, but he’s looking forward to moving onto a lighter subject matter for his next film.
Asked what’s next, he told Yahoo Entertainment: “There’s definitely part of me wants to leave the story behind.
“It’s a great privilege to be able to talk about a film that you’ve made that’s now going into the home on 4K and Blu-ray and all the rest.
“It’s great to be able to sit here and talk to you about the success of the movie. That’s a huge privilege.
“But the subject matter is very dark. It’s nihilistic and yeah, there’s part of me that’s quite keen to move on and maybe do something not quite as bleak.”
Nolan, 53, noted the importance of not being too heavy handed with such a serious topic, and giving audiences the chance to delve in on a deeper level of their own accord.
He explained: “I think with Oppenheimer, my hope was that the seriousness of the subject matter would resonate beyond the story, beyond the actual dramatic experience of watching the film.
“But I feel that if, as a filmmaker, I’m too self-conscious about that or trying to tell people what to think or be a didactic, that tends to put people off.
“They feel that effort. And I feel that effort in films sometimes, and you’re less receptive, actually, ironically, to whatever the intentions of the filmmaker might be.”
He suggested the best approach is to focus on a “great story”, and trust that the rest will come naturally.
He added: “So to me, it’s really about engaging the audience in a great story, and then hopefully if I’ve done my job right, there’ll be resonances beyond that.
“Maybe just by bringing my own fear of nuclear Armageddon, my own fear of how these weapons might one day be used, just bringing that into the foreground of what the story is. Hopefully that’ll resonate with people.”

Olivia Young reveals why she chose to do Big Brother over Love Island

OHMYGOSSIP — Olivia Young doesn’t think she would have “fitted in” on ‘Love Island’.
The 23-year-old dancer finished runner-up in ITV’s reboot series of ‘Big Brother’ last week and decided to apply for that show – which saw housemates live together without access to the outside world in a bid to win a cash prize – because she had grown up watching it and was unsure if she would be comfortable going on a dating show like ‘Love Island’.
Asked if she would have ever considered ‘Love Island’, she told The Sun: “I don’t know, it’s a different part of yourself to give away if you do a dating or romance-based show.
“So that’s why I chose to do ‘Big Brother’ because obviously we could have applied for ‘Love Island’ but I never saw myself fitting in there.
“I applied for BB because I grew up watching it and I always said if it ever comes back, I want to do it.”
The Glasgow-born beauty was beaten to the grand prize of £100,000 by lawyer Jordan Sangha in the show’s final but an industry expert has recently claimed that she is the most “bankable” star to emerge from the new version of ‘Big Brother’ and is “sure” she will be raking in half a million pounds in the next year thanks to her “quick wit” and on-screen energy.
Brand expert Nick Ede said: “I think Olivia has been an interesting character in the ‘Big Brother’ house and she’s turned out to be a standout star in the process. Her honest banter and overexcited nature has won her many fans and after starring in ‘Big Brother’ she’ll also be successful when it comes to making money.
“She’s gorgeous and I’m sure a fast fashion brand will pick her up quickly and offer her a deal.
“She will get Instagram and TikTok deals aplenty and make money from personal appearances and TV and radio gigs – she’s potentially the most bankable star in the house.
“With her quick wit, Scottish accent, and loads of energy I can see her being used for ad campaigns and loads more and even being paid big money for panto appearances too. I think she could make half a million in the next year at least.”

Olivia Attwood reveals ‘sad’ reason she can’t watch I’m A Celeb

OHMYGOSSIP — Olivia Attwood “doesn’t want to watch” I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!’
The 32-year-old reality star was one of the famous faces to enter the Australian jungle in last year’s edition of the ITV1 challenge show but was forced to quit just days after her arrival after standard medical tests revealed she had dangerously low potassium levels and has now admitted that she has been “avoiding” the new series of the programme because it makes her sad.
She told Metro.co.uk: “I haven’t watched it yet. Two reasons, I go to bed at 9 o’clock – so sad, and the second reason, is I have been avoiding it as I don’t want to watch it and feel sad!”
Since finding fame on ‘Love Island’ in 2017, Olivia has fronted a string of documentaries for ITVX focusing on taboo issues and earlier this year joined ‘Loose Women’ as a guest panelist but is “flattered” to have been able to return to the ITV1 lunchtime chat shows as a regular as she explained that it is so “different” to anything else she does.
She said: “I’m really enjoying doing regular slots with them in amongst my documentary filming. The fact they keep asking me back is flattering and the women are so lovely.
“It’s a different thing for me to do a collaborative show with other women. Everything else is on my own. All the women are just fun, super smart, and a lot of them have been in the industry for a long time
The former ‘Celebs Go Dating’ star – who famously had her first boob job at the age of 20 – will next be tackling the subject of cosmetic surgery in ‘Olivia’s Perfect Body’ and noted that she was “shocked” by some of the things she discovered in the process.
She said: “It will show the good, bad, and the dangerous. It’s a real eye-opener. I obviously love a tweakment, and I love everything around that subject and I was shocked by some of the things we saw!”

Coronation Street icon Paula Lane signs up to star in rival soap

OHMYGOSSIP — Paula Lane has landed a role in ‘Emmerdale’.
The 37-year-old actress is best known for having played Kylie Platt in ‘Coronation Street’ from 2010 until 2016 but has now been cast as Ella Forster in the fellow ITV1 soap opera and is “so excited” to be joining the Yorkshire-based serial.
She said: “Everyone has been so welcoming and I can’t wait to start a new chapter playing the role of Ella. I’ve already heard there are big plans for her and I can’t wait to see her navigate a new life in the village and hopefully make some friends!”
Paula will begin filming her role on ‘Emmerdale’ later this month and will be seen on screen from January 2024.
‘Emmerdale’ producer Kate Brooks added: “Ella is a complex and multi-layered character who comes to the village and certainly makes an impact. Ostensibly she’s a good, moral character, but is there more to her than meets the eye?
“We are absolutely thrilled to welcome an actor of Paula’s calibre to the show and we can’t wait to have her light up our screens.”
During her time on ‘Coronation Street’, Paula’s character Kylie sold her young son Max to half-sister Becky McDonald (Katherine Kelly) for £20,000, battled drug addiction, married David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd), and endured a fractious relationship with mother-in-law Gail Platt (Helen Worth) but was dramatically killed off when she was stabbedin broad daylight by teenager Clayton Hibbs (Callum Harrison).
Since leaving the Manchester-based soap, Paula has appeared in ‘Father Brown’ and ‘Call the Midwife’ and starred in the 2018 UK tour of the musical ‘Kinky Boots’, playing the female lead of factory worker Lauren.
But Paula – who has Arthur, eight, and six-year-old Penny with husband Tom Shaw – has since admitted that the decision for Kylie to be killed off came as a “shock” to her because she had initially hoped to go off to give birth to her youngest and then return.
Speaking on the ‘Soap from the Box’ podcast, she said: “I felt very strongly that I wanted to go but I was kind of up for maybe having Penny and then coming back for a bit but I think they felt that muddied the water a little bit.
“They came to the conclusion that they wanted a clean exit. I don’t think it was across the board – the writers were very torn by all accounts with what they wanted to do. It was Stuart Blackburn, the producer at the time, who made the call and said ‘We’re gonna kill her off’. I was so shocked. I was heartbroken.
“I was really shocked but at the same time, I understand that it wasn’t a decision I had taken lightly. I remember thinking ‘I didn’t see that coming!’ and I guess the audience would have been equally shocked.”

Bobby Brazier to pay ’emotional’ tribute to late mum Jade Goody on Strictly Come Dancing

OHMYGOSSIP — Bobby Brazier has found the “perfect song” to pay tribute to his late mum on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 20-year-old actor is the son of ‘Big Brother’ legend Jade Goody – who died in 2009 at the age of 27 following a battle with cervical cancer – and her former partner Jeff Brazier and in this week’s heat of the BBC Latin and ballroom competition has chosen to dance a contemporary and ballroom number to Maxwell’s version of Kate Bush track ‘This Woman’s Work’.
Speaking on ‘Strictly: It Takes Two’, he said: “It is the perfect song, sung by the perfect man and it is the perfect tone. The lyrics are just profound and touched me at my core – it is gorgeous. I am going to have to work very hard this week to do it justice.”
The ‘EastEnders’ actor is competing on the show with professional partner Dianne Buswell who noted that she had “never done anything like it” in her couple’s choice routine as Bobby revealed she will be playing the part of his mother for the night.
He said: “I am a child, well there is me as a child and I come out as me now. I have got Dianne, who replicates a woman let’s say my mother probably.”
Whilst taking on the role of Jade – who famously worked right up until her death in order to earn money to put into a trust fund for Bobby and his brother Freddie – Dianne revealed that she initially struggled to even look Bobby in the eye because of how she teared up in the moment.
She said: “We go on this journey throughout. I don’t know the whole dance yet to tell you completely but it is emotional. I think there could be a few tears. The first ten seconds, even when we were in the rehearsal room, I could not look Bobby in the eye because it made me well up.”

Lucasfilm puts Ahsoka director in charge of Star Wars creative

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Ahsoka’ director Dave Filoni is now overseeing the creative process all ‘Star Wars’ projects.
The writer, director and producer delighted fans with his recent Disney+ series, and now he has been officially named as the chief creative officer at Lucasfilms, working alongside studio president Kathleen Kennedy and head of development Carrie Beck.
He told Vanity Fair: “Now I’m what’s called chief creative officer of Lucasfilm.
“In the past, in a lot of projects I would be brought into, I would see it after it had already developed a good ways.”
The trio will help create and shape the next generation of films and shows set in the ‘Star Wars’ galaxy, and Filoni steps into the role after years working on the franfhise from ‘Rebels’ to ‘The Mandalorian’.
He added: “In this new role, it’s opened up to basically everything that’s going on.
“When we’re planning the future of what we’re doing now, I’m involved at the inception phase.”
When it comes to his process, he insisted he won’t be “telling people what to do”, but he will try to “help them tell the best story”, describing it as “a Jedi Council”.
He was mentored by ‘Star Wars’ creator George Lucas himself, and Natasha Liu Bordizzo – who plays Sabine Wren in ‘Ahsoka’ – pointed to his wealth of experience.
She said: “You just learn a lot from Dave in general, I think. I know that he’s traditional in the sense of how he learned so much from George.
“He has these pillars of storytelling that are dear to him, and then everything else can be untraditional.”
The big development comes after Taika Waititi confirmed his is “still developing” his ‘Star Wars’ movie, but he’s in no rush.
He told Entertainment Tonight: “At the moment, I’m still developing something with them.
“Like me, they have a lot of projects going on. I think they’re gonna push it until I finish these other projects.
“I’ve got about four other scripts that I’m trying to finish. My thing is I want to take my time with that and get it right. I don’t want to rush this movie.”

Mrs Doubtfire director reveals Robin Williams shot ‘almost two million feet’ of footage

OHMYGOSSIP — Robin Williams improvised enough for “almost two million feet” of ‘Mrs Doubtfire’ footage.
Director Chris Columbus has recalled how late star Williams – who tragically took his own life aged 63 in 2014 – suggested working on “three or four scripted takes” before having some fun.
Speaking to Business Insider, he said: “It got to the point that I had to shoot the entire movie with four cameras to keep up with him.
“None of us knew what he was going to say when he got going and so I wanted a camera on the other actors to get their reactions…
[The studio was] loving what they were seeing. Did they watch everything? I don’t think so. We shot almost 2 million feet of film on that picture.”
Three decades later, Columbus has kept over 900 boxes of footage including heaps of outtakes and unseen behind the scenes clips, and he’d love to turn it all into a documentary.
He added: “There are roughly 972 boxes of footage from ‘Doubtfire’ — footage we used in the movie, outtakes, behind-the-scenes footage — in a warehouse somewhere and we would like to hire an editor to go in and look at all of that footage.
“We want to show Robin’s process. There is something special and magical about how he went about his work and I think it would be fun to delve into it.
“I mean, there’s 2 million feet of film in that warehouse so there could be something we can do with all of that.”
Meanwhile, the filmmaker still feels sorry for the “poor script supervisor” who had to keep up with Williams’ constantly changing takes during a time when she had to handwrite everything.
He recalled: “So Robin would go to a place where he couldn’t remember much of what he said. We would go to the script supervisor and ask her and sometimes she didn’t even get it all.
“Often, he would literally give us a completely different take than what we did doing the written takes.”

Clare Balding believed her dog was her mum

OHMYGOSSIP — Clare Balding was convinced her pet dog was her mother.
The BBC Sports presenter, 52, admitted that she spent so much time with her furry friend called Candy as a child, that she believed she was her daughter.
During an appearance on the ‘Wine Times’ podcast, Clare said: “I did think I was a dog really because I was left with the dogs quite a lot I think. I may even have genuinely believed that Candy, who was my mother’s boxer, was actually my mother.
“There’s a really sweet picture of me as a baby lying next to Candy and my mother always said and I do think this is quite profound, ‘If you think a boxer has a beautiful face, the world will always be a beautiful place.’”
Her passion for dogs has continued, and managed to finds its way into her television career. Clare has hosted the ‘Crufts’ for the BBC and Channel 4 since 2004, which saw dogs compete to wow judges. She also presents Channel 5’s ‘Lost Dog, Found Dog’ in which she assists distraught owners in reuniting with their furry friends.
Clare is also an avid supporter of protecting dog rights, and addressed a crowd at the Henley Literary Festival earlier this year in which she called for a “test” to be introduced to ensure people can no longer continue “feeding illegal markets” for the pets.
She said: “I do think we need more regulation – we need more understanding of who is owning dogs, and I do very much approve of a basic test.
“Because there’s this ever-growing market that doesn’t care, that just wants the money. That’s where legislation has to come in to block that, that channel being so easy.
“I don’t know whether it’s a case of, if you’re selling a dog, you have to have a license or if you’re buying a dog, you have to have a license. I’m not sure which is the better solution.”
“We have an awful lot of people who don’t necessarily know how to deal with dogs that might be frustrated or lacking in stimulation, people who basically don’t understand what owning a dog means. They may unfortunately have clicked a button and bought what they thought was a teddy bear.
“And I say that genuinely. If you are clicking a button to buy a dog, you are feeding an illegal market.
“You are not understanding the responsibility of dog ownership.”

Doctor Who legend Tom Baker reacts to Ncuti Gatwa’s casting: ‘A handsome young man!’

OHMYGOSSIP — Tom Baker showered Ncuti Gatwa in compliments when he found out he had been cast as the new Doctor Who.
The 89-year-old actor had played the Time Lord on the BBC show from 1974 to 1981, and was impressed to see that the ‘Sex Education’ star, 31, would be taking on the mantle next year.
During an interview with Radio Times magazine, Tom was shown a picture of Ncuti, to which he said: “Oh! Is this the next Doctor Who? A handsome young man! Marvellous cheekbones. These things are important as you get near to death.”
The publication then asked Tom whether he had any advice for the sci-fi newcomer, to which he emphasised that kindness was the key.
He explained: “Knowing anything is a bit dangerous when you play Doctor Who. It’s better to know nothing. And to be good-natured. The trick is to respond generously to other actors, which halves your task because you don’t have to be driving it all the time.”
Previously, Ncuti had said that he was exceptionally excited to start work on the BBC show, and teased fans as to what to expect.
He told Rolling Stone UK : “My Doctor is emotionally vulnerable. He hides it with humour, but he’s lonely.
“I can’t say much more than that; I don’t want to spoil anything. But he’s also energetic! The poor cameramen struggled to keep up.”
Before the 31-year-old takes over as the Time Lord, David Tennant is set to reprise the role for one final heroic outing in the 60th Anniversary Special, which is set to air this Saturday (25 November) on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
Speaking with Radio Times, the 52-year-old actor gushed about the series, and the ability to work with Catherine Tate and showrunner Russell T. Davies again.
He said: “The first conversation we had about it was very casual.
“Russell and Catherine were talking about the notion of, ‘What if we got the band back together for one last special? But David would never do it.’ And I said, ‘What do you mean I’d never do it? I’d do it in a shot.’ And then suddenly, we were back for three in a row.
“I mean, why not? It was such a joyous time, and these are people I love as humans, and certainly love as people to work with. And Doctor Who is something that will always be hugely important to me.”

Russell Wason reveals hardest part of being on I’m A Celebrity

OHMYGOSSIP — Russell Watson lost 20lbs in just two weeks when he went on ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!’
The 56-year-old tenor competed in the 2020 edition of the ITV1 reality survival show – which was filmed ina castle in Wales instead of the usual Australian jungle due to travel restrictions put in place amid the COVID-19 pandemic – and admitted that he “loved” his time there although the “starvation” led to him losing a stone and a half.
He told OK! Magazine: “I look back on my time in the castle with a great deal of affection, I really did love it. There were elements of it that I didn’t enjoy, but even with the trials that I did, I still enjoyed it. I had a great time. Most mornings, I would wake up and use my fingers to make a little face in the ice on the windows so I could see out – it was that cold.
“By far, the most difficult aspect of the show is the starvation. I lost 20lb in just over two weeks – that’s a lot of weight. All you can think about when you’re hungry is food. It can make you feel quite grumpy and quite tired.
“I’m 6ft plus and a big lad, so I take a bit of fuelling up – 600 calories is lunch for me, not a day. That’s what I’d have in my sandwich. The food there is vile, that part really wasn’t nice.”
The ‘Someone Like You’ singer – who has daughters Rebcca and Helen with first wife Helen but is now married to Louise Harris – has enjoyed massive success in the world of opera but amid his life on a farm in Cheshire feels as if he is “10 different people” at once.
He said: “I feel like 10 different people. There’s the dad – I’m a father to two girls and even though they are grown up they’re still very reliant on me; the bank of dad, dad’s taxis, agony uncle dad. Then there’s the professional dog walker, professional fence fixer, professional gardener… Honestly, I can do it all!”

Gemma Collins ‘didn’t worry’ about her weight when stripping off forThe Real Full Monty

OHMYGOSSIP — Gemma Collins “wasn’t worried” about her weight when stripping off for ‘The Real Full Monty’.
The 42-year-old reality star is one of 13 famous faces who will be baring all to raise awareness of cancer when the annual ITV1 show returns later this month for a Christmas special but insisted that she just wanted to “embrace” her body for what it is because the show is for a good cause.
She told MailOnline: “I wasn’t worried about it. I’m body confident. And like every girl one minute we’re up about ourselves, one minute we’re a bit down about ourselves. We’re only human.
“But I definitely try and embrace and rock what I’ve got. For me getting my boobs out and baring all on ‘The Full Monty’ for such a good cause – it didn’t even take thinking about.”
The former ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ star – who will be joined by the likes of fellow ‘TOWIE’ legend Pete Wicks, drag queen Ella Vaday, former ‘Coronation Street’ star Victoria Ekanoye, and ‘Benidorm’ actress Sherrie Hewson on the special – went on to insist that there may be “slimmer” girls in her field but she has only been able to achieve such a successful career on television because she has embraced who she is and she thought nothing of eating fast food for lunch every day during the shoot.
She said: “There are much more beautiful, slimmer girls than me in the reality world but they can’t walk a day in my shoes. I’ve been successful because of who I am and how I am. It does come down to, you know.
“I didn’t think about it. I was going Nando’s every day for lunch, it was lovely!
“It’s like that song from ‘The Greatest Showman’ – this is me! I was confident and my weight didn’t even come into it!”

Big Brother winner Jordan Sangha admits lover Henry Southan has already stayed the night

OHMYGOSSIP — Jordan Sangha has revealed that his lover Henry Southan has already stayed over at his house.
The 26-year-old former lawyer emerged victorious on the ITV reality show ‘Big Brother’ last week beating out Olivia Young, Yinrun Huang, Noky Simbani, and his love interest Henry for the £100,000 prize and has now admitted that just days after the final, he and the food critic, 25, have since spent an evening together.
Jordan told MailOnline: “Henry stayed at mine last night but there was no funny business.”
Jordan was also asked how he had been coping with his newfound stardom after winning the ITV show, to which admitted he was finding it “overwhelming”.
He explained: “Because we didn’t think anyone was watching so we’re so thankful people have been watching it. People have been relishing it.”
Henry then highlighted that although his former co-star was now able to splash the cash, he was still living as frugally as he was before appearing on the programme.
He said: “Jordan has been accosted in Sainsbury’s buying a meal deal. 100 grand and he’s still buying meal deals!”
Despite sticking to a normal lunch, Jordan revealed he and Henry have “lots of plans” for what to do with the £100,000, which will include a trip to Venice, as well as “LEGO and wine nights”.
Jordan also recently announced that he had decided to quit his job as a lawyer after winning the eye-watering prize, and had no plans to ever return to a normal nine-to-five.
He told The Sun: “I don’t want to go back to a day job. I’ve worked in supermarkets,I loved working in Sainsbury’s, that was a good day job – but law, no. I’m done, signed out.”

Cat Deeley tipped to take over from Holly Willoughby on This Morning

OHMYGOSSIP — Cat Deeley has been tipped to take over from Holly Willoughby on ‘This Morning’.
The 47-year-old TV presenter is said to have proved popular when she returned to screens to guest-host the show for three days last week and now a new report suggests she’s being seriously considered as a contender to take over the lead role from Holly, who quit the role last month after 14 years on-air.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “She takes live TV in her stride and is really witty and personable with guests. She’s comfortable interviewing both pop stars and politicians. Cat would be a safe captain to steady the ship.”
The insider also suggested ITV bosses could even consider bringing Cat’s TV star husband Patrick Kielty onboard too, adding: “Cat and Pat has a great ring to it.
“A married couple hosting This Morning again would be the dream … although to just have Cat would be perfect too.”
Cat was previously a regular on UK TV before stepping away and moving to America where she hosted shows including ‘ So You Think You Can Dance’ and even making a guest appearance in ‘The Simpsons’.
She married Patrick in 2012 and they had two sons – Milo and James – together while living in California, but they moved back to the UK three years ago.
Cat previously admitted they decided to make the move after Patrick and on Milo were caught up a terrifying incident at the Century City Mall in Los Angeles when FBI agents started ordering shoppers to take cover because there was a shooter on the loose.
She told You magazine: “They shut down the centre. I got a call from Paddy, saying, ‘They’re taking us out through the fire exits but nobody can get to their car. If we walk to a junction, can you come and get us?’
“He wanted to keep Milo calm, so I didn’t understand the enormity of what was happening.
“As I was driving I began to see helicopters, news vans, firemen and SWAT [armed police response] squads. It makes me go funny now. It was terrifying … Paddy was shaken by it, more than Milo, who was hot and cranky but didn’t properly understand.”

Kim Kardashian eyed to star in and produce comedy The 5th Wheel

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Kardashian is being eyed to star in and produce the comedy film ‘The 5th Wheel’.
Five studios are said to be battling it to land the movie, with a script by Paula Pell and Janine Brito.
The SKIMS founder will produce alongside Pell and has attended every pitch for the movie, according to Deadline.
Kim, 43, recently appeared in season 12 of ‘American Horror Story’, portraying PR Siobhan Walsh, alongside Emma Roberts, Matt Czuchry and Cara Delevingne.

The news about a potential move into live-action movies comes after her mom Kris Jenner raised concerns about her daughter having too much on her plate in the latest season of ‘The Kardashians’.
The businesswoman completely forgot a whole part of her day where she met fans and told them all about her brand SKIMS’ secret plans because she was suffering from the signs of burnout.
On last week’s episode of ‘The Kardashians’, she had rehearsals for her role in ‘American Horror Story’, a Time magazine cover shoot, a Met Gala dress fitting, a SKIMS business meeting, a fashion gala, an appearance on the ‘Today’ show, and watched her brother-in-law Travis Barker’s Blink-182 show.
However, there is one part of her day she completely forgot, greeting fans at the Tiffany’s store and sharing where she was on social media.
She said whilst showing the footage: “I had no idea that I stopped at the Tiffany’s store and was posting all about it.
“Did I really go? It felt like a dream. This whole morning has been a complete, foggy dream.”
Momager Kris, 68, was concerned about her daughter burning out and quizzed her over her schedule.
Kim admitted doing ‘American Horror Story’ “put me over the edge”.
The mother-of-four – who has North, 10, Chicago, five, Saint, seven, and four-year-old Psalm with ex-husband Kanye West, 46 – went on to explain that she finds it hard to say “no” to business offers because the one time she did turn something down the person never spoke to her again.
Kris then shared her concerns that her daughter would “burn out” if she carried on like this.
