Sam Thompson thrilled to be voted to do a a trial on I’m A Celeb: ‘This is really, really cool!’

OHMYGOSSIP — Sam Thompson was “honoured” to be doing his first publicly-voted Bushtucker Trial on ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!’
The 31-year-old reality star is currently competing on the ITV1 jungle survival show and after it was decided by the viewing public that he and YouTuber Nella Rose would be facing Fishy Business together, admitted that he had “always wanted” to have a go at one of the tasks as he set about trying to win meals for camp.
Speaking to hosts Ant and Dec just ahead of his trial shown on Sunday (26.11.23) night’s episode, he said: “It’s a pleasure, it’s an honour. I’ve always wanted to be stood here looking at you guys like this, so this is just really, really cool.”
Despite his enthusiasm, it was the fifth trial for Nella, who admitted she had come to “expect the unexpected” during her time in the Australian jungle.
She said: “You’re here to face your fears, it’s not really a free holiday, so, you just expect the unexpected all the time!”
Dec explained: “This is Fishy Business. This is a question and answer Trial. As you can see under the water are seven tanks, one of them contains questions, the other six display sea creatures, which are all possible answers. Nella, you’re reading the questions, Sam you’ve got to go and find the answers.”
Ant added: “Once you’re at your chosen tank, which you think is the answer, you’ve got to release the star using only your mouth. Then and only then will we tell you if the answer is correct. There are 12 questions because there are 12 stars on offer and you’ve got 12 minutes to do this Trial.”
The pair encountered stingray and loberrs as radio host Sam tried to answer a series of questions , eventually gaining a a final 10 out of 12 stars as the timer hit zero.
Sam confessed: “All I’ve ever wanted is to make you proud, I’m really proud of us!”
Nella seemed thrilled at the thought of how her campmates would react, and the celebrities dined on mud crabs as a result of their work in the trial.
She said: “They’re going to be so proud, they’re going to be really happy that we’re going to be eating well tonight. Biggest fear – spiders. I don’t like being underground or underwater, but I did.”
Elsewhere, viewers were asked to pick one of the famous faces to become camp leader and the results will be revealed in Monday night’s show.
What’s more, the public have also voted for JosieGibson and Grace Dent to take part in Down the Tubes, meaning that the ‘This Morning’ star and the food critic will be hoisted up in the air in transparent boxers whilst throwing balls around as they battle against a variety of critters.
‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!’ continues Monday 27 November at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX

Emma McVey struggling with single parenting after Gary Beadle split

OHMYGOSSIP — Emma McVey has been struggling as a single parent to two children following her split from Gary ‘Gaz’ Beadle.
The 34-year-old is mum to son Chester, five, and daughter Primrose, three with the former ‘Geordie Shore’ star, 35, but their two-year-marriage recently broke down and Emma has admitted she’s been overwhelmed caring for the kids on her own.
In a post on Instagram, she posted a picture of herself with the kids and wrote: “The strength these two give me is a strength I never knew I had. Somedays are good, somedays are really hard. Doing this alone 6 nights a week, trying to heal, trying to work, planning both their birthdays and Christmas in the space of 6 weeks, the mental load alone seriously sends my head into a fuzz most days.”
She added: “The guilt eats me alive that my children won’t have the two parent household that I always imagined for them, but I know a happy house is more important. To anyone else going through this right now my advice is take it day by day, and if that’s too much, hour by hour.”
The post seemingly sparked a wave of trolling and Emma later added some words defending herself and insisting she doesn’t want to speak publicly about the reason for the split in a bid to protect the kids.
She wrote: “I have chosen not to speak to protect my children. I don’t post every single thing I do on Stories or Snapchat because I try to keep most part of our lives private.
“But I am going to speak as I’m so tired of having silly opinions all over my posts. We separated for so so many reasons of which I do not need to air because I wouldn’t want the kids growing up with it all over the internet.
“A lot has happened that won’t be spoken about, so please do not judge me and think you know my situation. Just because I don’t cry on my socials and tell you all doesn’t mean I haven’t been going through hell.”
Gaz was the first to share the news of the split and insisted there is “no bad blood” between the pair despite Emma apparently being “blindsided” by his decision. He broke the news in an Instagram question-and-answer session, telling his followers: “Hey no we actually separated about 3 weeks ago we are still friends there is no bad blood or anything and we have worked out the best way of doing it for the kids which for me and Emma is always gunna be the most important thing.” He added: “We both deserve to be happy as well as being parents.”

Keanu Reeves’ Constantine sequel in early stages

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Constantine’ director Francis Lawrence has begun “working on some ideas” for ‘Constantine 2’.
The 52-year-old filmmaker has revealed he and lead star Keanu Reeves, 59, had to regain “control” over ‘Constantine’ as there was a TV adaptation and then another project with J.J. Abrams in the pipeline.
They managed to “wrangle some control” but there was also the Hollywood writer’s strike which put a pause on the development of the sequel to the 2005 horror superhero film, but now they are back and raring to go.
Speaking to The Wrap, Francis said: “But luckily, we managed to wrangle some control and started working on some ideas for Constantine 2, which we’re really excited about. It’s still the very beginning, as the strike put it on hold for a little bit. So we’re probably going to start getting back together after Thanksgiving, and dig back in to try and crack it.”
Keanu has always wished to reprise his role as the titular exorcist John Constantine and explained that he begged Warner Bros. to make the sequel.
He told Total Film magazine: “I don’t know if it was unfinished business but it was definitely a role that I loved, and I thought that Francis Lawrence, the director, did such amazing work. I loved playing that character, and I really enjoyed the film.
“I was like, (adopts ‘Oliver Twist’ voice) ‘Can I please have some more?’… I kept asking almost every year. I’d be like, ‘Can I please?’ (and) they’d be like, ‘No, no!'”
‘The Matrix’ star continued: “It’s exciting. It’s almost like an open playground that we can hopefully cook something up and play in, and I guess get out of the playground and prepare a meal, but I’m looking forward to it, and hopefully it can happen.
“You don’t know how these things go. But I’m definitely going to try my darnedest to try and realise that dream.”

Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke names dream cast for reboot

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Twilight’ director Catherine Hardwicke would choose Jacob Elordi and Jenna Ortega to play the lead roles in a reboot.
The original movie – based on the book by Stephenie Meyer – was released in 2008 and starred Robert Pattinson as vampire Edward Cullen who strikes up a romance with teenager Bella Swan, played by Kristen Stewart, and Catherine says she would choose Jacob and Jenna for the roles if she had to name the dream cast for a remake.
During an appearance on the ‘Happy Sad Confused’ podcast, host Josh Horowitz asked: “Is Jacob Elordi Edward Cullen today? Is Jenna Ortega … [Bella]” and Catherine replied: “Oh, that would be perfect.”
She added of ‘Priscilla’ star Jacob: “I mean, he’s amazing. He probably would be Edward today.”
Catherine went on to say: “It would’ve changed anyone’s life if they got that part, … I do think there’s a lot of really cool young actors today. Of course, you just mentioned Jenna Ortega, she’s amazing.”
The original film spawned four sequels – ‘New Moon’ Eclipse’ and ‘Breaking Dawn Part 1’ and ‘Part 2’ – and it was recently reported a ‘Twilight’ TV series is in the works at Lionsgate TV.
When asked about the new TV project, Catherine insisted she doesn’t know much about it. She said: “[I haven’t] actually found out exactly … I don’t know yet [what it will look like]. Maybe they don’t even know.”
She went on to reveal she was involved in a ‘Twilight’ reunion last year when she attended Pattinson’s 37th birthday party along with Stewart.
The moviemaker explained: “Strangely enough, I ended up … I went to Rob’s birthday party recently. I kinda crashed with my friend Toni Collette, who had just done a movie with him. We had a fun thing, and then Kristen crashed it too. That was just a few months ago, and it was just like, ‘Oh my God!’ We all hugged each other — like, this is so crazy and cool.”

Nicola McLean nearly quit 2008’s I’m A Celeb

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicola McLean nearly quit ‘I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ in 2008 – before being plied with champagne.
The 42-year-old glamour model was worried about being on the other side of the world on her way to the jungle to compete on the ITV reality show as she had her little boy Rocky at home.
However, after getting smashed on bubbles, she made her way Down Under.
She told the Daily Star: “Yeah, I was really worried about leaving Rocky and I almost didn’t go on the show.
“I didn’t want to leave him because he was so young. So I was really worried about that.
“And my chaperone was like ‘How about we have a glass of champagne then?’ And I said, I said, ‘Yeah, let’s do it’.
“Then as soon as I had a couple of champagnes, then I thought it would be fine.
“But I ended up getting hammered and had even more on the flight, it was first class to Australia it was lovely. I’m obviously glad I ended up going to do it but it’s always so hard to leave the kids, that’s always the worst and hardest part for me.”
The mother-of-two – who also has son Striker with with former footballer husband Tom Williams – also slammed Britney Spears’ sister Jamie Lynn Spears for taking part in the current series.
She said: “I think Jamie Lynn will be nice but how much Britney goss will you get? Because of legal reasons, we won’t.
“I don’t think she should be on it. I’m a massive Britney fan and I finished her book recently and the way her family treated her is appalling.
“The book can’t be lies either because it had to go through legal to be able to be published. Her sister didn’t have her back at all and Britney worked all of her life so that her family could live well.
“My sister would never have let that happen to me. I’m telling you that now. Now she’s capitalising on Britney’s pain yet again. No, I really hate her. Even if she’s the nicest girl in the world, I do not want her in the jungle. It is just another kick in the vagina for Britney really.”

Grace Dent quits I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

OHMYGOSSIP — Grace Dent has quit ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’.
The 50-year-old food critic and ‘MasterChef’ star has left the popular ITV show after 10 days on “medical grounds” after being selected for a number of gruelling Bushtucker trials.
A spokesperson said: “Unfortunately Grace Dent has left the show on medical grounds.
“She has been a great campmate and will be missed by her fellow celebrities and viewers alike.”
Grace had been due to take part in the ‘Down the Tubes’ trial on Monday’s (27.11.23) episode alongside ‘This Morning’ presenter Josie Gibson but ‘EastEnders’ star Danielle Harold is now set to take her place after receiving the third highest number of votes.
The restaurant critic was seen looking grim-faced following the news that she would be facing the latest trial and informed producers that she had had enough.
She had previously admitted to Josie that she was keen to “go home”.
Grace said: “I’ve had enough. I’ve completely had enough. I just want to go home.”
An insider claimed that she had been “struggling with the lack of sleep and good food”.
The source told The Sun newspaper: “Grace was having a tough time away from her family and struggled with the lack of sleep and good food. But more than anything she was really pushed to the brink by the gruelling trials this year.
“The ‘Scarena’ series meant the celebrities were all taking part in more challenges than ever and Grace had just had enough.”
Grace participated in a number of tough trials during her time in the Australian jungle and even had to have a cockroach removed from her ear in the ‘Touchdown of Terror’ challenge – where she was ultimately successful.
She said following the trial: “I really needed that. I really needed to be good in that trial because I was really doubting myself.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Vanessa Bauer feels “confident for the first time” on ‘The Real Full Monty’.
The ‘Dancing On Ice’ skater – who has spoken candidly about battling an eating disorder as a teenager – has opened up about her lifelong struggle with body dysmorphia and how stripping off for the ITV show in the name of cancer awareness has given her a boost.
She told the Daily Star newspaper: “When I was a teenager, I had an eating disorder and I was very self conscious.
“I thought my boobs were too small. I have body dysmorphia. But ‘The Real Full Monty’ has made me feel confident for the first time.

“I always felt like I couldn’t put it out into the universe and speak publicly about it.
“And after he died, it wasn’t something I dealt with. So agreeing to do ‘The Real Full Monty’ was a big challenge for me.”
The explained how the programme has really made a difference when it comes to coping with her grief, while she now has a therapist and counsellor to talk to.
She added: “But to be honest, it has really helped me learn to deal with the grief over my dad and figuring out what it means for me as a person.

Doctor Who showrunner forced into Meep script change by BBC bosses

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Doctor Who’ boss Russell T Davies wanted to reveal The Meep twist much earlier.
The adorable looking character – who was voiced by Miriam Margolyes – appeared in the first anniversary special ‘The Star Beast’ over the weekend as David Tennant and Catherine Tate returned to the show, but BBC bosses urged the showrunner to show its true menacing nature later in the episode.
Russell told the ‘Official Doctor Who Podcast’: “In the very first draft of this script, the Meep revealed himself much earlier.
“In draft one, it was practically straight away, or in Rose’s shed, as in the comic strip, he reveals himself a significant chunk earlier – before the chase, not after the chase.
“So in the very first script, it’s like he’d be in Rose’s shed and she’d say, ‘I was making toys,’ and things like that, and every time she turned her head… he’d look at camera and go, ‘Soon I will feast on her blood!’ which I thought was really funny.
“I was told, my bosses gave me notes, they said he revealed himself as a villain too soon. I don’t know to this day.
“I still watch it thinking, I think that was really funny. And then Rose would turn back to him, she’d go, ‘Did you say something?’ And he’d go, ‘Meep Meep!’ ”
The character was created by Pat Mills and Dave Gibbons, and the episode revealed that despite looking cute, the creature was actually “a cruel beast”, and the leader of all Meepkind.
Reflecting on the role, Miriam previously spoke of her delight at being able to “flesh it out”, while the character had been “well written” in the comic strip.
She told Doctor Who Magazine: “With the Meep, you do feel that you’re creating something.
“Because this was a character that only existed in a drawing and it’s up to me to flesh it out and give it something that will be memorable and helpful for the episode.”

Gavin and Stacey star Joanna Page reveals unexpected new job

OHMYGOSSIP — Joanna Page is training to become an assistant vet.
The ‘Gavin and Stacey’ actress – who starred in James Corden and Ruth Jones’ classic BBC comedy alongside the pair and Mathew Horne – is set to start filming a new series in 2024 which is set to air on BBC2.
She told The Sun newspaper’s TVBiz column: “I’m going to be doing a wildlife show where I’ll be training to become a nurse to some wildlife vets.
“I adore animals and we as a family just love them. My children are very excited about me doing this new show.”
The RSPCA ambassador is a big animal lover, and the project comes at a welcome time for Joanna after ITV decided to ax ‘The Pet Show’ – which she fronted with Dermot O’Leary – after one series.
Meanwhile, the 46-year-old star admitted she has become “associated with Christmas” over the years thanks to the ‘Gavin and Stacey’ specials, ‘Love Actually’ and ‘Nativity 2’.
She added: “The first TV job I ever did was ‘David Copperfield’, a period drama for the BBC, which is where I met my husband (James Thornton) and that is always on at Christmas time. I played Dora Spenlow and he played Ham Peggotty.
“The other day I tried to put on ‘Nativity 3’ for my children but they refused to watch it, because I’m not in that one.
“Then you’ve got the two ‘Gavin and Stacey’ Christmas specials which are repeated every year, so the festive season is very close to my heart.”
However, Joanna recently suggested co-creators James and Ruth are probably done with the sitcom after the 2019 special which ended with Nessa (Ruth) proposing to Smithy (James), while viewers weren’t shown his answer.
She recently told MailOnline: “I can see them never doing any more because it was nice to leave it on a cliffhanger because it’s up to the viewer to imagine what would have happened. So I can imagine them ending it like that.”

‘It’s basically a domestic drama’: Emerald Fennell wants to put a different spin on Jurassic Park

OHMYGOSSIP — Emerald Fennell hopes to put a “domestic” spin on a ‘Jurassic Park’ film.
The Oscar-winning director has explained that she wants to make a movie in the popular prehistoric series that includes “a marriage between a man and a velociraptor”.
Emerald told Deadline: “I honestly feel that I’ve been so lucky. I’ve been able to make my dream projects already.
“But my favourite film of all time is ‘Jurassic Park’, so I would love to get in on the dinosaurs.”
The ‘Promising Young Woman’ filmmaker continued: “Well, first and foremost, it’s very erotic. I think humans and dinosaurs have gotten to that stage in their time together where things are starting to get quite thrilling.
“So, there’s a marriage between a man and a velociraptor and it’s basically a domestic drama.”
Emerald has previously acted in the TV shows ‘Call the Midwife’ and ‘The Crown’ and revealed that her dream role would be a Disney villain – although she bemoaned missing out on the chance to play antagonist Ursula in the live-action adaptation of ‘The Little Mermaid’.
The 38-year-old star said: “I think it’s got to be a supervillain, right?
“It’s sad they’ve just done ‘The Little Mermaid’ because Ursula the Sea Witch is my inspiration and my muse. I’ve always loved her.
“I’ve always felt she deserves her own prequel where she’s misunderstood. She’s just going to the clubs, in that iconic outfit, stuffing souls into little bottles and then harvesting them.”
Emerald also revealed that she would give herself a “glow-up” by choosing ‘Barbie’ star Margot Robbie to play her in a biopic.
She said: “Well, if it’s a biopic, I’m just going to choose Margot Robbie and have everyone be like, ‘Wow, she was so much more beautiful than we remembered’. I’m just going to give myself a glow-up.
“Margot’s such an amazing actress and I would just make sure that in every scene she was in slow motion with a wind machine. So, every moment of my life will be remade, but with her looking and being perfect in it.”

Willem Dafoe plays afterlife police officer in Beetlejuice 2

OHMYGOSSIP — Willem Dafoe is playing a “dead person” in ‘Beetlejuice 2′.
The 68-year-old actor features in the cast of Tim Burton’s long-awaited sequel to his 1988 fantasy horror comedy film and revealed how he plays a ghostly detective who was a B movie star before his death.
Speaking to Variety at the Marrakech Film Festival, Willem said: “I haven’t seen any footage yet, but it was fun to do. I play a police officer in the afterlife, so I’m a dead person. And in life I was a B movie action star, but I had an accident and that’s what sent me to the other side.
“But because of my skills, I became a detective character in the afterlife. So that’s my job. But it’s coloured by the fact of who I was (when I was alive): a B movie action star.”
Meanwhile, Willem portrays the unorthodox scientist Dr. Godwin Baxter in Yorgos Lanthimos’ film ‘Poor Things’ and explained how he noticed traits of the story’s author Alasdair Gray in his alter ego.
The ‘Platoon’ actor said: “Looking at these videos of Alasdair Gray who wrote the novel. I don’t know this for a fact, but I think there’s a lot of Alasdair Gray in that character.
“And he’s quite an amusing guy. He’s eccentric, he’s intellectual, he’s playful. He’s a thinker; a free thinker. So I think that I was working from watching videos of him, partly. Dr. Baxter is a scientist and he’s turned his pain into a positive thing.”
Willem also revealed that he was approached for the role as he was looking at a portrait of his surgeon father.
He said: “The portrait is in my office in my apartment in Rome. I was also looking at a beautiful piece by Marina Abramovic, whom I’ve worked with a bunch of times. It’s a big photograph of her doing an autopsy on a woman on a slab.
“These two things: so it’s in my world. They told me the broad strokes, and I was excited immediately.”

Jodie Whittaker is grieving Doctor Who exit

OHMYGOSSIP — Jodie Whittaker is “grief ridden” over her ‘Doctor Who’ departure.
The 41-year-old actress played the Thirteenth Doctor for three series between 2018 and 2022 before leaving along with showrunner Chris Chibnall as Russell T Davies returned to the helm.
Asked if moving on from playing the Doctor was freeing, she told the ‘Kermode and Mayo’s Take’ podcast: “No. It’s my absolute happiness, that job…
“I will never get to dance through a series and have the joy and magic in any other role. I will be forever grief ridden that I’m not The Doctor.”
Jodie left as her version of the Time Lord regenerated into David Tennant as he returned to the TARDIs for three 60th anniversary specials, which are currently airing on the BBC.
Once his run as the new Fourteenth Doctor has ended, he will be followed by ‘Sex Education’ star Ncuti Gatwa.
Despite her time on the show coming to an end, Jodie recently admitted she would be “very happy” to pick up the Sonic Screwdriver again in the future.
She told Metro newspaper’s SixtySeconds column: “I mean there’s just no debate. For me, it’s my absolute happiness.
“It was the most incredible time, it’s the most incredible role. Thankfully you were always treated as the Doctor whether you were the current one or not, so I would be very happy to put on my Doctor’s coat again.”
The TV star also gushed about the 60th Anniversary Special of the show, with Catherine Tate (Donna Noble) back with Tennant to face off against Neil Patrick Harris’ dreaded Toymaker.
She said: “I can’t wait, and also it’s the first time for me being a Whovian.
“I didn’t grow up in a Whovian house and we didn’t watch it, so it’s the first time now for me that I am full-on fan with no stress attached.”

Hugh Dennis thrown into wheelie bin on The Couple Next Door set

OHMYGOSSIP — Hugh Dennis got thrown in a wheelie bin during filming for ‘The Couple Next Door’.
The 61-year-old actor and comedian plans Alan in the new Channel 4 psychological drama, and he admitted his co-star Sam Heughan apologised for “how hard” he had to push him.
He said: “Sam throws me in a wheelie bin. That was great. I didn’t have any scenes with Alfie or Eleanor, but everybody’s there at the same time.
“You’re sitting around, everybody has lunch together. And Sam apologises for how hard he’s had to thrust me into the wheelie bin.
“It’s always nice to have good people around, because half of it in acting is the downtime, isn’t it?”
The ‘Not Going Out’ star admitted he tried to bring a contrast to his “dark” character.
He added: “He’s a guy with almost no redeeming features. And he is dark.
“The briefing notes say he is a ‘peeping Tom’, but the way I was trying to play him is a man dealing with ageing very badly.
“His frustration and melancholy turns to bitterness, which made him very interesting to me.”
The show follows Evie (Eleanor Tomlinson) and Pete (Alfred Enoch) as they move into an “upscale neighbourhood” and strike up a friendship with Danny (Sam) and Becka (Jessica De Gouw) next door.
Dennis has admitted while it’s a departure for him, he didn’t think much of it.
He explained: “Well, people come from all sorts of different places, don’t they? It’s learning on the job.
“I don’t go, ‘Oh my God, I’ve come from a comedy background,’ any more than Steve Coogan does. It is just what’s there and you play it.
“You’ve got to get inside it somehow and understand what makes that character tick. I think quite often the route that people take are not necessarily the routes that they have decided for themselves.”

Pete Wicks flying out to Australia to support I’m A Celebrity contestant Sam Thompson

OHMYGOSSIP — Sam Thompson will reunite with best friend Pete Wicks instead of girlfriend Zara McDermott when his time on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ comes to an end.
The former ‘Made In Chelsea’ star, 31, met Pete, 35, when they were both on the same series of ‘Celebs Go Dating’, and after striking up a close friendship they have been inseparable ever since, even launching their own podcast ‘Staying Relevant’.
‘Love Island’ beauty Zara – who was eliminated from this year’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ on Week 6 – seemed to be the obvious choice to meet with Sam once his time in the jungle is over, but Pete has revealed it will be him waiting for his pal and the former ‘TOWIE’ cast member is flying out to Australia on Tuesday (28.11.23).
Appearing on the Hits Radio Breakfast show this morning with Fleur East, he said: “ITV wanted me to go because I need to protect Ant and Dec from Sam when he comes out otherwise there could be some sort of restraining order happening
“It wasn’t a competition with Zara – it was always going to be me! To be fair, Sam and I thought she’d still be in ‘Strictly’ because we didn’t realise how bad she was at dancing!”
Fleur then asked what Pete thought of Sam chanting “do it for Pete, do it for Pete” during the Locker Shocker Bush Tucker Trial.
He replied: “Zara messaged me and asked, ‘What is this about?!’ Obviously, she knows I’m the favourite and she’s used to it by now but I’m hoping he doesn’t do that in bed. That would be slightly weird…”
Host Fleur – who competed on the 2018 series of the ITV reality programme – also asked Pete if he was missing his mate, and the television heartthrob was quick to joke that he was really enjoying the “peace and quiet”.
Pete said: “Absolutely not! No, to be honest, weirdly, I actually am, and I didn’t think I would. The first week was lovely, I really chilled out and it was nice to have a bit of peace and quiet but now I don’t really know what to do with myself.”

Binky Felstead’s first months with puppy were ‘challenging’

OHMYGOSSIP — Binky Felstead wasn’t prepared for how “challenging” life could be as a new dog owner.
The 33-year-old reality star – who has India, five, with ex-boyfriend Josh Patterson, as well as two-year-old Wolfie and seven-month-old Wilder with husband Max Darnton – welcomed her pooch Pedro into her home three years ago and although she was instantly smitten with her furry friend, things weren’t always plain sailing.
She said: “I could never have imagined how instantly and deeply I would fall in love with our dog Pedro. But I could also never have anticipated how challenging I would find some of the moments during his first few months with us.”
And the former ‘Made In Chelsea’ star admitted she only grew more overwhelmed after she was “overloaded” with advice on caring for her canine companion, so she has welcomed pet food brand Royal Canin’s One in a Billion Campaign, which aims to help cut through the mountains of available information with a ‘one stop shop’ of puppy tips and information.
