Eva Longoria ‘saved’ John Wick with $6 million offer

OHMYGOSSIP — Eva Longoria paid $6 million to save ‘John Wick’.
The first movie in Keanu Reeves’ blockbuster action franchise was released a decade ago, and while the series has gone onto to gross $1 billion worldwide over four films, it was nearly a very different story.
Director Chad Stahelski told Business Insider: “We were less than a week out and we lost almost $6 million on a gap financing.
“We were financing independently to get the bond, but one of the investors couldn’t raise the money in time.”
Chad, his co-director David Leitch and Reeves had already poured their own money into ‘John Wick’, and producer Basil Iwanyk maxed out three personal credit cards to contribute to the budget.
CAA helped with the financing, and turned to some of its actors to give them a chance to invest.
Stahelski recalled: “[Eva] came to the rescue and she provided the gap financing, literally less than 24 hours before we had to lock the doors on the movie and walk away.
“Basil took us out to dinner [after filming], and we were laughing about all the b******* that happened, and he said, ‘By the way, funny story, you know who gap financed you? Eva Longoria.’ We were like, ‘What!’ ”
The filmmakers later took Longoria out for lunch at the Chateau Marmont as a thank you for saving their movie.
Stahelski said she was “laughing” as she admitted she “didn’t think it was going to go work”, while she later told Leitch it was the “best money” she’d ever spent.
The duo are also leaving the door open to bring her in for a future ‘John Wick’ sequel, if they can find something that works.
Leitch teased: “She wants to for sure, she wants to do action. I would love to work with her, we’re trying to find something.”

Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis lands new ITV show all about board games

OHMYGOSSIP — Martin Lewis will teach people how to beat their family at board games in a new ITV show.
The ‘Money Saving Expert’ and ‘Good Morning Britain’ star – who actually proposed to his wife using Scrabble – is set to front a new one-off special for the broadcaster called ”How To Win At Board Games’, which will air just in time for Christmas.
In a press release, ITV said: “Across this festive programme, Britain’s most trusted man will give us the kind of top advice we expect – but this time via board games.
“He’ll spotlight the top tactics and game-winning tricks behind the UK’s most popular board games – including Monopoly, Scrabble and Connect 4 – and in the process try to take on the toughest of competitors while improving his own gameplay skills.”
The broadcaster promised that Martin’s trademark “financial life lessons” will still be part of the festive show, while a specific transmission date is yet to be confirmed.
Last month, Martin teased an upcoming new project after taking time out of his busy schedule to film a “frustrating” TV appearance.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, in early September, he wrote: “Off to do some filming this afternoon, rare I agree to be a cleb contestant on something, but this one, I hope will be fun.
“Can’t say what it is though, hopefully out later this year.”
He later told his followers: “That was a LOT of fun. If occasionally frustrating…”
Some fans tried to guess what Martin had been working on, with suggestions including ‘The Wheel’, ‘The Chase’ and ‘The Weakest Link’.
Another person wondered if he was joining Richard Osman on ‘House of Games’.
But he replied: “I’ve already done that (and that’s a full days filming).”

‘It was the phone call of a lifetime’ Tom Holland has said yes to unknown Christopher Nolan movie

OHMYGOSSIP — Tom Holland has confirmed he has signed up for Christopher Nolan’s next movie – without knowing what it is about.
The 28-year-old actor is “incredibly excited” about starring in the unknown project and admitted it was a “phone call of a lifetime” when he was presented with the opportunity to take part in the forthcoming film.
Speaking on ‘Good Morning America’, he said: “All I can say is that I’m incredibly excited.
“And obviously honoured, but that’s all I can say because, to be honest, that’s all I know.”
Asked if Nolan was the type of director Holland would say yes to “sight unseen”, he replied: “100 per cent, without a shadow of a doubt.”
Holland admitted receiving a call about Nolan’s upcoming project reminded him of signing up to star as Peter Park/ Spider-Man, who he has portrayed in six movies.
He said: “When the opportunity came in, it was the phone call of a lifetime.
“It was reminiscent of getting the call about ‘Spider-Man’ 10 years ago.
“It’s an amazing thing for me. I’m super proud and I’m really, really excited.”
Holland’s comments come after it was revealed earlier this week that he was in talks for Nolan’s new movie, in which he will appear alongside Matt Damon.
Sources told The Hollywood Reporter that the movie won’t be set in the present day, but it’s not yet known whether the film will be based in the past or the future.
Nolan has penned the script for the project, and plot details have been kept under wraps so far.
The filmmaker will also direct the motion picture, which will be distributed by Universal and has a release date of July 17, 2026.
Nolan will also produce the film alongside his wife, Emma Thomas.
Earlier this month, Damon was said to be in talks to star in the as-yet untitled movie.
It would be the third time Nolan and Damon have collaborated together on the big screen.
As well as last year’s ‘Oppenheimer’, the 54-year-old actor also appeared in 2014’s ‘Interstellar’.

TV chef Delia Smith steps down as Norwich City director after 28 years

OHMYGOSSIP — Delia Smith and her husband Michael Wynn-Jones have stepped down as directors of Norwich City Football Club after 28 years.
The 83-year-old TV chef is known for her cookery skills as well as her huge passion for football, and she and her significant other Michael will now become honorary life presidents for the Canaries.
A post on Norwich City’s X account read: “After 28 years as directors of Norwich City, Delia Smith and Michael Wynn Jones have stepped down to become honorary life presidents.
“It’s not goodbye, it’s just thank you”
The club’s website stated: “The club’s existing board would like to place on record its sincere thanks and gratitude to Delia and Michael for their contributions to the club during their time as directors.”
Delia and Michael joined the Norwich City board in November 1996 and injected £2 million into the football club.
After becoming majority shareholders in 1998, they have overseen six promotions and six relegations.
Delia is remembered by many football fans for storming onto the pitch at halftime during Norwich’s game against Manchester City.
Norwich had been leading 2-0 earlier in the match, but went in at the break drawing 2-2.
Delia then took to the pitch during half-time to issue a rallying cry to The Canaries supporters.
She grabbed a microphone and shouted: “A message to the best football supporters in the world…
“We need a 12th man here. Where are you? Where are you?
“Let’s be having you. Come on!”
However, Norwich went on to lose the game 3-2 after City striker Robbie Fowler scored his second goal in the last minute.
Delia’s rant remains one of the most iconic moments in Premier League history.

Big Brother apologise as episode is pulled amid anti-Semitism row

OHMYGOSSIP — A ‘Big Brother’ episode was removed from ITVX amid an anti-Semitism row.
The Campaign Against Antisemitism have complained to communications regulator Ofcom after housemate Ali, a forensic psychologist, wore a T-shirt depicting a map of Israel as a watermelon on Tuesday night’s episode (22.10.24).
They argued the images of Ali wearing the top, which comes amid the Israel-Hamas war, has caused “significant distress among the British Jewish community”.
A post on X read: “How is this becoming the norm?
A Big Brother (@bbuk) ‘housemate’ was seen wearing a T-shirt depicting the map of Israel as a watermelon – a symbol widely associated with anti-Israel sentiment. This graphic has caused significant distress among the British Jewish community, who regard it as a genocidal message similar to the slogan ‘From the River to the Sea’ which calls for the elimination of the world’s only Jewish state.
“How did the show’s staff allow this shirt to be worn, let alone broadcast it on national television? This incident represents a serious violation of broadcasting standards.
“We have submitted a complaint to @Ofcom.”
Watermelons are a symbol of Palestinian nationalism. Their red, black, white and green colours match those on the Palestinian flag.
The episode was removed from ITVX on Tuesday evening, but it was re-uploaded on Wednesday (23.10.24).
However, on Thursday morning (24.10.24) it wasn’t available again.
‘Big Brother’ have apologised to anyone who has been offended by the broadcast.
A spokesperson for ‘Big Brother’ said: “All Housemate items are checked by our production team before they go into the Big Brother House to ensure they comply with the Rules and compliance requirements.
“‘Big Brother’ does not allow any personal items into the House that could be deemed harmful.
“We regret that the implications of this particular item of clothing were not fully understood in our bag checks or prior to broadcast of last night’s show.
“We apologise to any viewers who have been offended by the broadcast and assure viewers that Big Brother was unaware of the implications of the image.
“The item of clothing has been removed from the House.
“The Housemate has been spoken to and they have expressed that they are unaware of the implications and did not wish to cause any harm or offence.
“Any offensive messaging associated with the image does not reflect the values or beliefs of ‘Big Brother’.”

Terrifier star Lauren LaVera ‘cast in new horror film’ with Saw director

OHMYGOSSIP — Lauren LaVera has reportedly been cast in a new horror movie from ‘Saw’ director Darren Lynn Bousman.
The new Scream Queen – who first played ‘Final Girl’ Sienna Shaw in ‘Terrifier 2’ before reprising the role in this year’s blockbuster sequel – is set to star opposite ‘Blood Diamond’ actor Djimon Hounsou in ‘The Monster’.
As reported by Deadline, LaVera has signed up for the project, which will be directed by Lynn Bousman from a screeplay by Jonathan Bernstein and James Greer.
‘Saw’ franchise producer Mark Burg is also on board, along with Envision Media Arts duo Lee Nelson and David Tish.
‘The Monster’ will tell the story of two millennials looking to make some money by leasing New York City apartments that they don’t actual own to unsuspecting customers.
Things soon take a terrifying turn when they come across an apartment owner with a dark secret.
Principal photography for the movie is set to start next month in Connecticut.
Aside from ‘Terrifier’, LaVera appears with Tom Hiddleston in upcoming Stephen King adaptation ‘The Life of Chuck’, as well as recent episodes of ‘Law and Order: Oraganized Crime’.
Despite seemingly signing up to another scary role, she recently admitted she would love to work on a romantic comedy after battling brutal killer Art the Clown in Damien Leone’s horror franchise.
In an interview with Swagger Magazine, she said: “While we’re filming, it’s very intense and from doing my own stunts, my body would ache. So I took quite a bit of ibuprofen during filming and I was sweating all the time because my body didn’t know the difference between acting scared and actually being scared.
“I was talking to our intimacy coordinator, Maria, and she explained that my body was reacting to the stress, even though my mind knew it was all fake. So I would love to do a romcom next because I feel like my body needs a break from all this stress!
“Luckily, none of the actors are method actors, so once we call ‘cut’, we’re all just ourselves. I’m really fortunate that I know a lot of the cast and crew for ‘Terrifier 2’ and it’s a really friendly, family-like environment.”

Big Brother nominations revealed after shock twist

OHMYGOSSIP — Nathan, Izaaz, Khaled, and Marcello are up for the next ‘Big Brother’ eviction.
A third housemate will be axed from the famous abode in Friday night’s (25.10.24) live eviction, but Hanah and Lily were spared the possibility of this week’s eviction by fellow contestants Ali and Dean.
On Sunday (20.10.24), Ali and Dean became the new Heads of House for the week, and that gave them immunity from eviction as well as additional power.
They had to pair up their fellow contestants ahead of Monday night’s (21.10.24) nominations, which saw each pairing then nominate another two housemates.
After all the nominations were cast, Hanah and Lily and Izaaz and Nathan received the most nominations from their fellow housemates, but Ali and Dean were given the opportunity to either ‘Save and Replace’ or deliver a ‘Killer Nomination’.
The Heads of House chose to ‘Save and Replace’ Hanah and Lily, who they replaced with Khaled and Marcello, meaning the two lads now face potential eviction on Friday night.
Their decision came after Hanah and Lily had received three paired nominations from Baked Potato (Rosie) and Sarah, Emma and Thomas and Izaaz and Nathan.
Izaaz and Nathan had received three paired nominations from Hanah and Lily, Khaled and Marcello and Martha and Segun.
Ali and Dean nominated Khaled and Marcello.
Despite nominations taking place in pairs, the public will vote for housemates individually in this week’s eviction.
Should Nathan go home it might be bad news for Baked Potato after the pair embarked on a romance in the house.
‘Big Brother’ continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX, and airs in Ireland on Virgin Media Two and Virgin Media Player.

Rochelle Humes wants a 4th child but admits the decision is down to husband Marvin Humes

OHMYGOSSIP — Rochelle Humes wants a fourth child, but the decision is down to her husband Marvin Humes.
The 35-year-old TV star shares Alaia,11, Valentina, seven, and four-year-old Blake with the JLS singer, and while Rochelle has now revealed she would happily try for another baby, she admitted their world might “fall apart a little bit” if they add to their brood.
Speaking to Closer magazine, she said: “If you asked me, I’d say I want children forever, because I get really sad every year that they grow up.
“Three can be a handle, but if we chucked a fourth one in there, I don’t know, the world would fall apart a little bit.
“I will always be broody, so I can’t be the one to make that decision.”
Despite both having very busy schedules, ‘The Hit List’ presenters always find time for each other.
Rochelle said: “Sometimes it’s just when the kids are in bed, we sit down and make something together. We listen to nice music while we’re doing it, have a bottle of wine, but it’s quality time, our phones are on charge upstairs.”
The ‘This Morning’ presenter emphasised that she and her 39-year-old husband try to ensure they both have a healthy work/life balance.
She explained: “We try to set boundaries, and we make sure that we don’t talk shop at home once we’re all done for the day. We’ll let that roll into tomorrow. I think it’s important to protect it.
“If it all rolls into one, then we’ll be up working on something all the time. At least by five o’clock, by the time [the] kids are having dinner, we’ll make sure that work questions are done.”

Anita Dobson became unrecognisable to husband Brian May after getting drenched in blood for new show

OHMYGOSSIP — Anita Dobson’s blood-soaked appearance in new show ‘Generation Z’ left her husband Sir Brian May unable to speak or recognise her.
The former ‘EastEnders’ actress, 75, stars in the new Channel 4 satirical drama series as a care home resident who turns into a flesh-eating zombie, and Anita revealed the 77-year-old Queen legend couldn’t identify her after she sent a picture of herself drenched in fake blood.
She told OK! magazine: “I’ve never done anything like this before. I thought, at my age, I should give everything a go.
“I sent my husband a photo of me from the set when I was a bit bloodied up and he couldn’t speak, he just asked, ‘Is this my wife?’ ”
The ‘Doctor Who’ star had a “baptism of blood” on her first day, when the production team overfilled a blood bag and it spurted all over the set.
She said: “I also had a baptism of blood on my first day when they over-packed a blood bag and it went everywhere.
“It was in my eyes, up my nose, in my ears – everyone got soaked. The walls were soaked and everyone was hysterically laughing.”
Anita stars opposite Sue Johnston and Robert Lindsay, who all turn into zombified pensioners and go on a quest to find and consume human flesh – with a particular taste for teenagers – all while the army hunts them down to neutralise the threat.
While Sue knew her inner circle had “a lot of interest” in the programme, ‘The Royle Family’ star admitted ‘Generation Z’ had proven to be controversial among her friends and family.
She explained: “The show caused a stir among my family and friends.
Certainly more than any other part I’ve done. I don’t know quite what they’re expecting, but there’s a lot of interest.”
‘Generation Z’ airs this Sunday (27.10.24) at 9pm on Channel 4.

Mel Giedroyc to host Pictionary game show for ITV

OHMYGOSSIP — A ‘Pictionary’ game show is coming to ITV.
Mel Giedroyc is set to host the programme based on Mattel’s popular drawing game that has proved successful on US screens – where it is already in its third season.
‘Pictionary’ will launch on ITV1 and ITVX at the end of the year and will follow the same rules as the world’s most popular drawing game as two teams battle it out with quick-fire sketches and hilarious guesses.
Mel, 56, will be joined by two celebrity team captains who will be leading their group of contestants on a mission to draw images to match a word or phrase from a specific category – with their teammates needing to guess correctly to score.
Contestants have the chance to win an incredible prize, so the stakes are high.

The series will be produced by Whisper North – which has worked on British versions of US game shows including ‘Jeopardy!’ and ‘Wheel of Fortune’.
Mel said: “Everyone is familiar with ‘Pictionary’, and I am so excited to help bring the game to life on television. It is such a pleasure to be a part of and I know people will love the show.”

Nick Knowles unlikely to dance in Strictly Come Dancing final

OHMYGOSSIP — Nick Knowles doesn’t think he’ll be able to dance in the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ final.
The ‘DIY SOS’ presenter and his professional partner Luba Mushtuk were the third couple to depart the BBC competition show earlier this month and though the axed couples usually return for one more spin around the ballroom, the 62-year-old star has admitted it is unlikely he’ll be returning because of recovery from the injuries he sustained on the show.
Nick recently underwent surgery on his bicep but is awaiting another operation on his knee.
And a fan on X asked him: “Will you still be able to do the end of series dance in the final? Wouldn’t seem right you not being there.”
Nick replied: “I’m not sure my injuries will allow – I have to wait for the knee operation until the bicep operation has healed so I can use crutches afterwards.
“So I don’t think recovery will be in time sadly.”
After his bicep surgery last week, Nick explained he is likely to need “two or three months” of physio.
He told fans on his Instagram Story: “Just woken up from my op. All went well by all accounts so I have a reattached bicep now so bit of physio over the next two or three months and all should be right as rain and back to 100 per cent I think.”
Meanwhile, Nick hasn’t ended his partnership with Luba just yet because the professional has offered to help him out with his first dance ahead of his 2025 wedding to fiancee Katie Dadzie.
Speaking on ‘Strictly’ spin-off series ‘It Takes Two’, he said: “After I’ve had my operations I’m going to do some more training with Luba and I’ve got some important things to do like maybe next year join the ‘Strictly’ tour.
“But more importantly I’m getting married next year and Luba’s going to help choreograph the first dance.”

Bruce Springsteen’s manager praises ‘perfect’ biopic casting

OHMYGOSSIP — Bruce Springsteen’s manager thinks Jeremy Allen White is the “perfect” choice to play The Boss in an upcoming biopic.
The ‘Bear’ actor is set to star as the ‘Born in the USA’ hitmaker in ‘Deliver Me From Nowhere’, the film about the making of the rock icon’s 1982 album ‘Nebraska’, and Jon Landau couldn’t be happier with director Scott Cooper’s casting choices.
Jon told The Hollywood Reporter: “Oh my god, he’s just perfect. The casting is great.
“Scott said to me at the beginning, he said, ‘We get the right cast, and we’ll tell this story right,’ and he got the right cast.”
And Jon joked he “died and went to heaven” when he heard Jeremy Strong would be playing him, and he can’t wait to see what the ‘Succession’ star does on screen.
He said: “I died and went to heaven. He’s a great guy. We’ve had the chance to know each other, and I’m just dying to see what he does and what I learn from it.”
The executive stressed that he and Bruce are not very involved in the movie.
However, he added: “We’re very pleased at the way they’re going about it, it’s going to be beautiful.”
Jeremy previously revealed he has been training with a top vocal team and watching endless YouTube videos to prepare for his performance.
He recently told GQ magazine: “I’m really lucky that there’s sort of a team of folks now in place to help young actors portray rock stars. I’ve got a really talented group of people helping me train vocally, musically, to get ready for this thing.”
The 33-year-old actor has also been spending hours watching old clips of the rocker’s performances and interviews in a bid to nail the portrayal.
He said: “There’s just so much footage. It’s really great to go down a YouTube rabbit hole and find him at all these different periods in his life and be able to listen to his speaking voice as well as his singing voice.
“That’s kind of been the deal, just listening to him a lot and watching him a lot. It’s been really fun preparing.”

Mahershala Ali’s delayed Blade movie has been removed from Disney’s release schedule

OHMYGOSSIP — Marvel’s delayed ‘Blade’ movie has been removed from Disney’s release schedule.
The reboot was slated for release on November 7, 2025, but has now been replaced by ‘Predator: Badlands’.
A new release date has not been disclosed.
Marvel Studios also announced three untitled films set for release on February 18, 2028, May 5, 2028, and November 10, 2028.
The movie, which cast Mahershala Ali, 50, as the titular vampire-slaying superhero made famous by Wesley Snipes, 62, in the 1998 original – which spawned two sequels and a TV series – has faced many setbacks, from losing directors and cast members to being pushed back by years.
Marvel boss Kevin Feige admitted a few months back that they were still “trying to crack” the movie and don’t want to rush it.
He told BlackTree TV: “For the last two years as we’ve been trying to crack that movie, the most important thing for us is not rushing it and making sure we are making the right ‘Blade’ movie.”
He went on to insist the team plans to follow in the footsteps of Marvel’s ‘Deadpool’ franchise by keeping ‘Blade’ with a restrictive adults-only age-rating.
Feige added: “There were some great ‘Blade’ movies years ago – they were all rated-R. So I think that’s, like ‘Deadpool’, inherent with the character of Blade.”
The movie has already gone through two directors, Bassam Tariq was first to go, followed by Yann Demange.
Oscar-winning actor Ali is to star alongside Mia Goth as the villain Lilith.
And the 30-year-old recently insisted the project is being handled with care.
She told Deadline.com: “[The cast and crew] really care, they do. They want to make a great movie. That’s the sense that I get from them and that feels good.”
The script comes from the likes of ‘Black Widow’ and ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ scribe Eric Pearson and ‘True Detective’ creator Nic Pizzolatto.
Snipes recently laughed at the production’s delays, writing in a post on X: “Blade, lordylordylordy folks still lookin for the secret sauce, ridin snowmobiles in traffic, kinda rough.
“Daywalkers make it look easy, don’t they? (sic)”
In an interview with Uproxx, he did, however, puts his support behind Ali.
He said: “I don’t have any involvement, but I support the young artists and I support Marvel in their business decisions. It’s a beautiful thing. I think he’s a heck of a job. He’s got a heck of a job on his hands.”

Shane Richie teases ‘tragic and sad’ scenes to air on EastEnders Christmas Day special

OHMYGOSSIP — Shane Richie has described the ‘EastEnders’ Christmas Day special as “Deceit, tragic and sad.”
The 60-year-old actor, who plays Alfie Moon on the BBC One soap, has warned that viewers are in for an extremely shocking story line involving him and Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) – but he’s keeping tight-lipped on what is set to go down on Albert Square this festive season.
He told RadioTimes.com: “A few things happened on Christmas, which I intentionally didn’t read [the script] because I knew that Kat and Alfie were going to be involved, and I didn’t really want to know what was going to happen in the Queen Vic on Christmas Day.
“But oh my God!
“I sat there watching this story unfolding in the Queen Vic that happens on Christmas Day, and as a fan of the show anyway, I was like, ‘Oh my God I can’t believe this! Stop!'”
He continued: “I had to do a line and I kept messing it up because I was so taken in with that the storyline that was happening.
“You’re in for a lovely treat this Christmas Day.”
On Tuesday night’s (22.10.24) episode, Kat’s son Tommy Moon – whom she had with Alfie’s second cousin once removed, Michael Moon – lashed out at his family and scolded his cousin Freddie Slater with hot soup as they sat around having Chinese.
The horrific scenes happened in front of Tommy’s young half-siblings Bert and Ernie.
It came after his mother Kat lied to Alfie about Tommy hitting her in the face before being forced to tell the truth after her walked in and overheard them discussing the incident.
Alfie threatened to “drag” Tommy to social services in a heated confrontation with the boy, who had previously punched his mother in the stomach, and pinned him against the boxing ring before Freddie intervened.
‘EastEnders’ airs Monday to Thursday on BBC One from 7.30pm and earlier at 6am on BBC iPlayer.

Shirley Ballas lands big money deal to adapt her novel into new crime drama

OHMYGOSSIP — Shirley Ballas has landed a big-money deal to adapt one of her novels into a six-part drama.
The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ judge has sold the rights for ‘Murder On The Dance Floor’, which dropped last year and took inspiration from her own experiences in the competitive ballroom world.
She told the Daily Star newspaper’s Hot TV column: “It has been picked up for a series. It’s very exciting.
“I’m not sure on how long it’ll take for it to be made. This is a new project for me and I’ve not done this before, so I don’t know how long it’ll take. But I’m excited.”
The novel – which was followed earlier this year by ‘Dance To The Death’ with a third book on the way – focused on coach Lily Richmond, who has to solve a murder with one of her students after someone died during a competition.
Shirley will be heavily involved with producers to make sure the series matches her vision, right down to casting choices.
She said: “I will be involved in it all and I’ll be taking guidance on who will be in the cast.”
The 64-year-old star never expected to see one of her novels turned into a series, but she’s thrilled by the opportunity.
She added: “When I was going into meetings, I was staring out and thinking, ‘Seriously?’
“It’s going further down the chain as time goes on, so it’s a very exciting process.”
The inspiration behind the novel itself came as Shirley was working on her autobiography, but decided some of the ballroom stories weren’t suitable.
She previously told the Huffington Post: “It’s a behind the scenes look at what I think people guess in their mind goes on – and I’m just writing about it.
“I mean, it’s quite true to life. It’s saucy, it’s sensual, there’s lots of love going on there – and hate! And backstabbing!”
She added: “People will be intrigued to think, ‘did Shirley take part in that? Did she witness it? Or is it fiction?’. You’re going to have to guess.”
