Hollywood legend Hayley Mills joins Death in Paradise

OHMYGOSSIP — Hayley Mills has joined the cast of ‘Death in Paradise’.
The 77-year-old actress – who became a box office favourite as a teenager in the 1960s with her roles in Disney classics ‘Pollyanna’ and ‘The Parent Trap’ – will be seen as a guest star on the upcoming 13th series of the BBC One drama and bosses were “thrilled” to have her on board.
An insider told The Daily Star newspaper’s HotTV column: “Hayley will be one of the guest stars on the new series. To say everyone is thrilled to have her on the show is an understatement.
“There was a lot of excitement on set when she was filming her scenes.”
Following her Hollywood career, Hayley landed the title role on the sitcom ‘Good Morning, Miss Bliss’ – which was later retooled into 1990s classic ‘Saved by the Bell’ – and in more recent years has appeared on British TV hits like ‘Wild At Heart’ and guest-starred in ‘Midsomer Murders’.
She also played the leading role of Anna Leonowens in a major revival of ‘The King and I’ in the 1990s and in 2023 starred in a stage adaptation of ‘The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel’.
Other famous faces to appear on the upcoming series of ‘Death in Paradise’ include former ‘X Factor’ contestant Rachel Adedeji, West End star Richard Fleeshman – who played Craig Harris on ‘Coronation Street’ from 2002 until 2006 – and comedienne Ronni Ancona.
Other guest stars lined up for the new series – which will air on BBC One from February 4 – include former ‘Band of Gold’ actress Cathy Tyson, ‘Motherland’ star Ellie Haddington and singer Kate Robbins, who is known for her appearances on ‘Crossroads’ and ‘Spitting Image’.
A show spokesman said: “‘Death In Paradise’ continues into its 13th year with its much-loved combination of magnificent mysteries, mind-boggling puzzles and plot twists which leave audiences guessing and on the edge of their
seats.”

Lindsay Lohan reunites with Mean Girls star for new movie

OHMYGOSSIP — Lindsay Lohan is reuniting with Tim Meadows for a new Netflix film.
The ‘Mean Girls’ actress will once again share the screen with Meadows – who played Principal Duvall in the 2004 classic – for upcoming Christmas rom-com ‘Our Little Secret’.
The film – which is being directed by Stephen Herek from a script by Hailey DeDominicis – will follow two bitter exes played by Lohan and Ian Harding as they’re forced to spend Christmas together after finding out their new partners are actually siblings.
The cast will also feature Jon Rudnitsky, Chris Parnell, Dan Bucatinsky, Henry Czerny, Katie Baker, Ash Santos, Jake Brennan and Brian Unger, but their roles are yet to be confirmed.
Production is currently underway, with the project making up part of her partnership with the streaming platform.
It follows fantasy rom-com ‘Irish Wish’, which followed a bridesmaid attending a wedding between her best friend and love of her life.
Lohan previously made her acting comeback after almost a decade when she played a hotel heiress in Netflix movie ‘Falling For Christmas’.
In the film, her newly-engaged character is suffering from amnesia after a skiing accident, and she ends up being cared for by a lodge owner.
In 2022, Netflix’s director of independent film Christina Rogers said: “We’re so happy with our collaboration with Lindsay to date, and we’re thrilled to continue our partnership with her.
“We look forward to bringing more of her films to our members around the world.”
Although Lohan makes a cameo appearance in the new ‘Mean Girls’ movie, she actually felt upset by one particular joke in the film.
A rep for the Hollywood star told The Messenger: “Lindsay was very hurt and disappointed by the reference in the film.”
In the new movie, rap star Megan Thee Stallion says: “We are going back red. Y2K fire crotch is back!”
The comment is a reference to an infamous remark made by oil heir Brandon Davis back in 2006, when he called Lindsay the name during a night out in Los Angeles.

Mark Wright’s travel show won’t return for second series

OHMYGOSSIP — Mark Wright’s travel series won’t be returning for a second run.
The former ‘TOWIE’ star turned TV presenter fronted ‘A Wright Family Holiday’ for the BBC last summer as he explored domestic tourist attractions with his brother Josh and dad Mark Sr.
However, the BBC has confirmed: “‘A Wright Family Holiday’ was commissioned as a one off.”
There had been some hopes from fans for a second series of the show – which drew comparisons to ITV’s ‘Breaking Dad’ featuring Bradley Walsh and his son Barney – but there are no plans in place.
An insider told The Sun newspaper’s TVBiz column: “The series was always going to be a suck-it-and-see job.
“If it went down well with audiences and got healthy viewing figures, the BBC would have been tempted to maybe explore another series.
“The Wrights would have been up for it, but it wasn’t to be.”
However, the door is not closed and the broadcaster is open to the prospect of more projects.
The source added: “The consolation, though, is that the BBC is still keen to work with them and they could be offered another type of show in the future.”
During the six-part series, the Wrights travelled from Scotland to Cornwall – including time in Wales on the way – and delighted viewers with their adventures.
Mark previously admitted the show made him reflect on his life and how his busy career impacted his loved ones.
He said during one episode: “I can’t say no to work because I’m so in fear of losing it all. I have this real struggle overcoming that fear – that one day it’s genuinely all going to be gone.
“It spirals, doesn’t it? If I feel like I’m going to lose it all, that makes me work more, see my family less, and makes my head feel a bit more crazy.
“I know I’ve not been me and who I should have been the last few years, and that’s what this (holiday) is about.”

‘I want to make Lord Sugar the Lord of the Pies!’ 2 pie company owners among Apprentice candidates

OHMYGOSSIP — Two businessmen who own pie companies are among the 18 candidates on this year’s ‘The Apprentice’.
The BBC One business show returns for an 18th series on February 1st, with the candidates set to battle it out in brand-new tasks for Lord Sugar’s £250,000 investment and mentorship.
Among the candidates are Paul Bowen, who owns a pie company which boasts big-name clients such as Manchester City Football Club, and he wants to make Lord Sugar “Lord of the Pies”.
He said: “I’m seeking investment of Lord Sugar’s time and knowledge.
“I have great ideas and great business acumen, along with a work hard attitude.
“My organisation and planning is my weakness. But with Lord Sugar’s strategy and my passion and ideas, I could make him Lord of the Pies.”
Fellow candidate Phil Turner also owns a pie company.
He was awarded Supreme Pie Champion in 2020 for his family-owned pie business, and he believes he is the perfect candidate for Lord Sugar’s investment.
He said: “I deserve Lord Sugar’s investment because I already have a track record of successfully building and scaling a business.
“I have learnt how to run a business the hard way, and now I feel like it’s time to take my business to the next level.”
London-based recruitment consultant Flo Edwards has warned fellow candidates not to “underestimate” her, while jewellery company owner Noor Bouziane has claimed she will “go to any length” to succeed in the process.
She said: “I have competitiveness in my blood. I will go to any length to win this process.”
What’s more, sales executive Oliver Medforth has already boasted he is a “selling machine”, and claims he will “dominate” in selling tasks.
He said: “I really hope there is a selling task because this is where I will dominate and prove to Lord Sugar, I am a selling machine.
“I work the markets selling gin and tonic and there aren’t many customers that leave without buying.”
Other candidates include pharmacist and business owner Amina Khan, wellness brand owner Dr. Asif Munaf, project manager Foluso Falade, recruitment director Jack Davies, dental group owner Dr. Paul Midha, boutique fitness studio owner Rachel Woolford, and mortgage broker Raj Chohan.
What’s more, pre and post-natal fitness coach Sam Saadet, management consultant Steve Darken, music and wellness entrepreneur Tre Lowe, music producer Virdi Singh Mazaria, yoga company owner Maura Rath, and chartered company secretary Onyeka Nweze, who claims her business can make £10 million in the first five years, will also appear in the series.
‘The Apprentice’ returns on BBC One and BBC iPlayer from Thursday 1 February at 9pm.

Nicole Kidman to star in Mice

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicole Kidman is to star in ‘Mice’.
The 56-year-old actress has joined the cast of the upcoming big screen adaptation of Gordon Reece’s debut novel of the same name, and Justin Kurzel is to direct the motion picture.
The psychological thriller novel tells the story of a mother and daughter who are pushed to their limits in the face of bullying.
Reece said: “The thought of an actress as staggeringly gifted as Nicole Kidman teaming up with Australia’s most daring and original director on the adaptation of ‘Mice’ is hugely exciting.
“I’ve no doubt their collaboration is going to make for electrifying cinema that we’ll be talking about for years.”
Blossom Films and Made Up Stories said in a statement: “We were so taken with Gordon’s book – it is one of those stories that gets under your skin and stays there.
“We have been a fan of Justin and Shaun’s work for a long time and we are thrilled we have found the perfect story to come together on. We are so excited to be bringing this collaboration into the world.”
Shaun Grant is to pen the script and also produce alongside Kurzel, Kidman, Nicole O’Donohue, Bruna Papandrea, Per Saari, Steve Hutensky and Jodi Matterson.
O’Donohue, Jeanne Snow, and Harriet Warner are to executive produce the project.
Production company Thirdborn – who are made up of Kurzel, Grant and O’Donohue – said: “We are thrilled to partner with Made Up Stories and Blossom Films to bring Gordon Reece’s terrifying novel, Mice, to the screen.
“It is exciting to be developing a horror story and to have the opportunity to work with Nicole in this genre.”

‘I’m sure we’ll do it!’ Lord Sugar yet to be offered contract for Apprentice’s 20th series

OHMYGOSSIP — Lord Sugar is yet to be offered a contract for a 20th series of ‘The Apprentice’ – but he is “damn sure” the BBC will make it happen.
The 76-year-old entrepreneur is gearing up to front the 18th series of the BBC One business show, and he has already accepted the corporation’s offer to do a 19th version, and while the BBC haven’t given the green light to any more seasons after that for now, he plans to ask.
Quizzed on whether he has an idea of how long he wants to do the show given the 20th anniversary is around the corner, Lord Sugar said: “Well, obviously we’re going to do that. No question.
“But bear in mind, it’s not my call, it’s the BBC’s call.
“They’re the ones that will decide whether the programme has got longevity beyond 20 series.
“I have a contract to do series 19, I don’t have a contract to do series 20 yet, but I’m pretty damn sure that I’ll ask them to do it and we’ll do it.
“But it’s really up to them. It’s up to their scheduling and all that type of thing.”
Lord Sugar “loves” fronting the programme, and he finds it fascinating that some of the recent candidates were barely even born when the programme first started in 2005.
He added: “Me personally, I love it. I love doing it.
“I know Karren loves doing it. Tim loves doing it. And bear in mind that we’ve got people coming along now who 20 years ago weren’t even born.
“Or we’ve got people coming along now who were five years or six years old when they first started watching ‘The Apprentice’ through their mums and dads.
“And now they’re coming on the show. So, it’s great. It’s fantastic. And it’s a great BBC programme.”
What’s more, Lord Sugar admitted the quality of this year’s candidates is “superb”.
He said: “I’m very pleased with this series because the quality of the candidates that we have attracted this year is superb, I have to say.
“This year, we’ve got a lot to work with.”
‘The Apprentice’ returns on BBC One and BBC iPlayer from Thursday 1 February at 9pm.

Brand new Jurassic World movie is in the pipeline

OHMYGOSSIP — A new ‘Jurassic World’ film is in development.
Universal Pictures are working on a new movie in the dinosaur franchise that will see David Koepp – who wrote the screenplay for the original ‘Jurassic Park’ film in 1993 – pen the script.
Progress on the picture is far enough along that Universal are said to be planning a 2025 release date.
No director is currently attached but producer Frank Marshall – who was involved in the ‘Jurassic World’ trilogy – is working on the project while original director Steven Spielberg will executive produce for his Amblin Entertainment banner.
The flick is thought to be launching a “new Jurassic era” with a brand-new storyline.
This would appear to rule out the returns of the ‘Jurassic World’ characters played by Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard as well as original ‘Jurassic Park’ cast members Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum.
The most recent film in the franchise, ‘Jurassic World Dominion’, was met with negative reviews when it was released in 2022 – prompting director Colin Trevorrow to claim that sequels to ‘Jurassic Park’ should never have been made.
He told Empire magazine: “There probably should have only been one ‘Jurassic Park’ – but if we’re gonna do it, how can I allow them to tell stories in a world which dinosaurs exist, as opposed to, here’s another reason why we’re going to an island?”
Trevorrow, 47, explained that he tried to attempt something different with the plot to bring the trilogy to a close.
He said of the film: “I specifically did something different than the other films in order to change the DNA of the franchise. The previous five films are plots about dinosaurs. This one is a story about characters in a world in which they coexist with dinosaurs.”

‘That always is a fun conversation’: Alicia Silverstone stunned by Clueless sequel demand

OHMYGOSSIP — Alicia Silverstone is amazed that audiences are still interested in a ‘Clueless’ sequel.
The 47-year-old actress played the role of Cher Horowitz in the 1995 coming-of-age comedy and loved how her reprisal of the part for a Super Bowl commercial led to fresh calls for a follow-up movie.
Alicia told Variety: “I think people are talking about a (sequel) all the time at all times since the movie happened.
“Has it been 30 years yet? That always is a fun conversation. It’s so lovely to see how people still love that movie. It’s very nice.”
Silverstone’s latest film is the Dutch comedy ‘Krazy House’ – which is set in the 1990s and follows a sitcom family whose lives are transformed when criminals arrive at their door – and she had an immediate interest in the unconventional plot from directors Steffen Haars and Flip van der Kuil.
She recalled: “I got a call from my agent saying there’s a really crazy script that you need to read. I did and it’s a page-turner for sure. I never saw anything like this before. I was so interested.
“I watched their film, ‘Ron Goossens, Low Budget Stuntman’, and I thought it was really good, so stylish and such a clear point of view. You can tell these guys are artists. They’re freaky and wild artists.
“I was in my car on FaceTime with them and they were so cute and lovely. I wanted to go play with them! I got to go to Amsterdam and play with all these freaks and they are all so talented.”
Alicia has taken gambles in terms of her acting projects in recent times and has prioritised parts that will give her a sense of enjoyment.
The ‘Batman and Robin’ star said: “A long time ago I made some changes and someone said to me, ‘I don’t care if you work for two or three years, only do what I love.’
“That was so strange to me. Do what I love? I’ve just been having fun playing. I was doing a lot of theatre and they were letting me do things I wasn’t allowed to do in movies. From that theatre stuff, they just started to let me do it in movies.”

‘He’s obsessed with it!’ Ellie Leach’s dad fixes her Strictly Come Dancing trophy

OHMYGOSSIP — Ellie Leach’s dad has fixed her ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ trophy.
The former ‘Coronation Street’ actress scooped the Glitterball Trophy last year alongside her pro partner Vito Coppola, but the silverware broke in transit when she was travelling between London and Manchester recently.
However, Ellie sent her dad off to his shed to try to fix the trophy – and he has succeeded in his mission.
Speaking on ‘BBC Breakfast’, the 22-year-old star said: “It’s all fixed now.
“My dad took it to his shed and he’s fixed it. I had to get all my things from London to Manchester on the train and it broke in my bag.”
Since fixing the trophy, Ellie admitted her dad has now become “obsessed” with the trophy.
She added: “My dad is obsessed with it and whenever someone comes round he’s like, ‘Do you want a photo with it?’ ”
Earlier this month, it was revealed Ellie had unfortunately broken the Glitterball Trophy.
A source told The Sun on Sunday newspaper’s TV Biz column: “Ellie was gutted that she hasn’t been able to show off her trophy after so many of her friends are desperate to hold it.
“Luckily Ellie’s dad Al is good at fixing things so she gave it to him to put back together.
“It is her prized possession and she can’t wait to put it up in the house.”
Ellie previously credited the show for having “changed” her life forever.
She gushed on Instagram following her win: “When i started Strictly I was nervous and shy.
“I had no self confidence or self belief and I was completely a glass half empty type of person. Always finding the negatives in every situation, focusing on the lows instead of the highs, worrying and overthinking about every single thing, mostly things that were out of my control.
“Signing up for Strictly, i knew it was going to be hard, i didn’t know how hard it would be. I knew I was going to have fun, i didn’t know just how much fun i would have.
“I’ve said it before and i’m honestly not saying this to be dramatic but Strictly has changed my life.
“I’m now a yes person. This experience has taught me that giving your best is all you can ask of yourself, worrying about things that are out of your control isn’t going to stop them from happening.
“Saying no because you’re scared is taking away an opportunity from yourself that could end up being great. I am stronger, more resilient and more confident.
“I have learnt that it’s okay to be kind to yourself when you’re having bad days and good days and i have learnt to cherish every single second of life because you will really see the joy it can bring…
“This win is for everyone who feels like they’re not good enough. You are enough. Please be kinder to yourselves and have more belief and find joy in the little things. (sic)”

Former Eastenders star James Alexandrou reveals return to soap

OHMYGOSSIP — Former ‘EastEnders’ star James Alexandrou has made a shock return to the soap – behind the camera.
The 38-year-old actor played Martin Fowler, who is now portrayed by James Bye, from 1996 to 2007, but he recently headed back to Albert Square.
Speaking on the ‘Secure The Insecure’ podcast, he said: “I kind of did go back recently, I shadowed as a director.
“What that means is you go and follow the director and see how they direct the show, and it just so happened that James Bye was on the day that I was shadowing, so I didn’t know that he knew I was there.
“I think he apparently caught wind of it, and he came on to do a scene, and he kind of went, ‘Oh, it’s you!’ and we just kind of had this … it was a strange moment, it was a really strange moment, because we don’t know each other at all, and the only thing that bonds us are these words on a page called Martin Fowler and it was a really nice moment.”
James then admitted that directing is much more “intense” than acting on the soap.
He explained: “Something like ‘Enders’, you might shoot some 25 or 30 pages a day, on a film, you might be shooting two. [It’s] kind of a nostalgia thing going back. And I think I’d have a lot of fun doing it.”
The star was then asked if he would get back in front of the camera as Martin, but insisted that door was “closed” for now, but he might change his mind if Bye said farewell to the soap.
He said: “Coming back as Martin? I don’t know, that door’s closed in my head. Maybe if the door was open, if James Bye said, ‘Listen, I’m gone and I don’t want to do it again’, then I’d go, ‘Yeah’.
“Maybe like a special one off Christmas thing. That might be funny to do that.”

‘Makes me sick!’ Pregnant Love Island star Rachel Finni in tears as phone is stolen by ‘vile’ thief

OHMYGOSSIP — Pregnant ‘Love Island’ star Rachel Finni has hit out at a “vile” thief after she lost precious pregnancy memories when her phone was stolen this week.
The 31-year-old star, who appeared on 2021’s seventh season of the ITV2 dating show, delivered a message to the “disgusting” person who took her phone at Liverpool Street Station on Monday (22.01.24), admitting she hopes they “never know happiness”.
She wrote on her Instagram Stories: “Hi everyone,
My phone was stolen last night at Liverpool Street Station.
“Whilst I’m trying not to stress or even break down in tears for the memories lost of my pregnancy so far and extreme personal information, I’m sorry to anyone who has tried to contact me from 4.30pm yesterday onwards.
“I hope whoever stole my phone never knows happiness. Never knows peace. Never knows love. Never knows health and more.
“It’s disgusting. You’re vile.
“I never take the bus. Ever. However following a day on my feet, I honestly was in too much agony to walk 5 minutes. Waiting at that bus stop is my biggest regret. (sic)”
Rachel also recalled there being emergency money and a passport picture of her goddaughter in her phone case, and admitted the whole incident made her feel “sick”.
In another post, she wrote: “Just remembered there’s a passport picture of my goddaughter and emergency cash stored in my phone case too.
“Makes me sick honestly.”
Earlier this month, Rachel confirmed she was pregnant with her first child, two-and-a-half years after she appeared on ‘Love Island’.
Rachel shared a video of her baby bump on her Instagram page, and Louis Armstrong’s ‘What A Wonderful World’ song could be heard playing in the background.

Ex-Corrie star Sean Wilson publishes new music-inspired cookbook in latest move away from acting

OHMYGOSSIP — Sean Wilson has published a new music-inspired cookbook in his latest move away from acting.
The 58-year-old actor – who is best known for appearing in ‘Coronation Street’ as Martin Platt from 1985 to 2005 – has released his third book, called ‘Jazz Food’, which promises to combine the music genre with the culinary world.
He is quoted by MailOnline as saying: “In its truest form, jazz is American music developed from ragtime and blues. That is [a] given; but jazz is bigger than that. Yes, that’s right, bigger even than that!
“We need to doff our fedora to it in so many ways, as it is also the product of music, art, culture, time, geography and a lot of hard work.
“Gastronomy is equally multi-faceted; a product of fine food availability, art, culture, time, geography and harder work. These cats are running the same line, and have been bedfellows for many generations. ”
Sean chose to combine jazz with cooking, because he believes the music genre and food have become “joined at the hip”.
He said: “Jazz and food are both cultures of their people. Their development and evolution is directly related to the cool ones that love them. As culture travels the globe, it changes to suit geographic tastes – you see this in both jazz and food.
“These two genres are joined at the hip for reasons of culture, enlightenment, pride, flair, individuality, innovation and raw talent. They are both arts for the common soul and the mark of any true culture is its ever-changing development.”

‘I do it for him!’ Karren Brady vows to depart The Apprentice when Lord Sugar leaves

OHMYGOSSIP — Karren Brady has insisted she will depart ‘The Apprentice’ when Lord Sugar does.
The 54-year-old businesswoman has squashed speculation that she could take over from the 76-year-old entrepreneur if he ever leaves the BBC One business show, because she only appears in the programme because she “genuinely believes in” her pal Lord Sugar.
She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “It’s not a discussion him and I have ever had, but as long as he does it, I’ll do it, and when he leaves, I’ll leave, because I do it for him.
“I don’t do it to be on the TV. There’s nothing scarier than being 54 and seeing your face on a 50-inch television screen, I can assure you!
“I do it because I genuinely believe in him, I like him, I enjoy the show, and the team around it are fantastic.”
But Karren – who, along with former ‘Apprentice’ winner Tim Campbell, acts as Lord Sugar’s aide on the show – is confident the businessman and the show will carry on for “a long time” yet.
She added: “But I think the question of how long he’ll go on for is a question for him.
“But a long time, I hope. I mean, there’s no reason why he shouldn’t.”
Karren is gearing up for the 18th series of the show, and she has teased fans the upcoming candidates are the “most highly qualified” that have ever been on the series.
She said: “I think it’s probably the most highly qualified set of candidates we’ve ever had. Pharmacist, dentist, some already successful business owners.
“I think from that point of view, the standard is really very high, but with high standard and high achievers comes high ego!”
‘The Apprentice’ returns on BBC One and BBC iPlayer from Thursday 1 February at 9pm.

Joel Dommett’s awkward toilet moment during The Masked Singer

OHMYGOSSIP — Joel Dommett was left embarrassed by an awkward toilet moment on ‘The Masked Singer’.
The 38-year-old TV star – who hosts the ITV show, in which judges Jonathan Ross, Mo Gilligan, Davina McCall and Rita Ora guess who is singing underneath an elaborate costume – isn’t a huge fan of wearing mint green suits on the show anymore, after a “wee splat” became visible on his trousers last year.
Speaking to the Metro newspaper, he said: “Some of those suits are very bright.
“There was one I had on last year that was mint green, and I learnt that mint green really shows up a wee splat.
“So, you’ve really got to be careful – when you’re like, ‘I’m just going to pop out of the studio for 30 seconds, go for a wee, then run back in.’ You’ve got to make sure you – as Taylor Swift once said – shake it off.”
Joel, who announced he and wife Hannah Cooper had welcomed their son Wilde Cooper-Dommett in September, admitted fatherhood fits “around [him] really well.”
He said: “It’s been great. I feel it’s fit around me really well.
“I’m lucky that I’m at this point in my career where I don’t necessarily to have to be out every night of the week doing gigs and stuff.
“There was definitely a point when I felt I had to be out six nights a week, to try to work my way up the ladder. We’ve got him in a really good schedule, and we work around the schedule.”
Joel admitted the connection he has for his son is “petrifying”, because he is consumed by the “deepest feeling of love” for him.
He explained: “The thing that has really surprised me about it is how much you love them.
“I’m not a deep person at all. My wife is always laughing at me because I’m so surface-level.
“The deepest feeling of love just consumes your soul and you’ll do anything to protect this human being – and it’s petrifying.”

Demi Jones and Luis Morrison dumped from Love Island

OHMYGOSSIP — Demi Jones and Luis Morrison have left the ‘Love Island: All-Stars’ villa.
The 25-year-old beauty and Luis, 29, have both left the ITV show following a dramatic night in the villa.
Following their early exit, Demi said: “Although it’s early days, Luis and I get on so well.
“We are not putting any pressure on anything but we have already arranged our first date; we’re going to go out for dinner in London, go out for drinks and go out clubbing with our friends after.”
The duo were dumped from the show after Arabella Chi opted to couple-up with Chris Taylor, while Tyler Cruickshank chose to re-couple with his ex-girlfriend Kaz Kamwi.
Despite this, Demi has admitted that she could have a long-term future with Luis following their stint on the show.
Meanwhile, prior to their early exit, Demi revealed that she felt hopeful of finding love in the villa.
The reality TV star – who first appeared on ‘Love Island’ in 2020 – shared: “I am returning to the ‘Love Island’ villa because I am ready again to find love.
“I lost a lot of confidence with my health issues over the last couple of years but I’ve been smashing the gym this year, finding my confidence again and I’ve got it back. So, let’s find a man!
“It’s hard to find someone genuine or someone in the same industry as you who understands everything, it’s hard. I’m hoping to find someone in the same shoes as me and we can vibe.”

Frank Skinner’s son told him he’s not as funny as Alan Carr!

OHMYGOSSIP — Frank Skinner has admitted his son thinks he’s not as funny as Alan Carr.
The 66-year-old stand-up and former ‘Room 101’ presenter has Buzz, 11, with his talent agent partner Cath Mason, 54, and admitted he thinks most of the UK might agree with his boy’s assessment of his comedy.
He told The Times: “I don’t think he’s the only person in Britain who would say that.
“If there was a grand vote, Alan Carr would probably win. But it’s quality, not quantity, I’m after.”
Frank added he isn’t convinced Alan or anyone else beats him in the comedy stakes.
He said: “(Alan) is funny. But I can’t put my hand on my heart and say that he’s funnier than me.”
When asked who he thought was funnier than him, Frank replied: “Nobody that I know.”
Frank added he was including his former TV comedy partner David Baddiel I that, adding: “There’s no one I laugh at as much as I laugh at me.”
The comic also told how he has gone years without a laughing fit so intense he was left struggling to draw air.
He said: “I haven’t had one (of those) for years. When I look back, one thing about them is they’re basically untransmittable because if you tell someone what you were laughing at, they always gaze back blankly because it’s often more to do with fatigue or something else that’s going on.
“You’re broken down generally and then laughter finishes the job.”
Frank’s latest stand-up show is called ’30 Years of Dirt’, and he says it is a reference to how his X-rated material still “hangs over me”.
He said: “I think the title is simply saying, ‘I’ve been doing this for 30 years and I’m trying to get more sophisticated but (that material) still hangs over me.’”
