Nicole Scherzinger is 'best judge' on X Factor

OHMYGOSSIP — Dermot O’Leary thinks Nicole Scherzinger is the best ‘X Factor’ judge.
The 43-year-old presenter finds the former Pussycat Dolls singer – who took her hopefuls to the South of France with Calvin Harris for Judges’ Houses – is the most dedicated mentor to her contestants and always get involved with what they are doing.
He said: “I always seem to be in the South of France and I just love Nicole. I think she’s probably the judge you would want because she will chuck herself in. She’ll take the boys for runs. All the judges are brilliant but she is the one who absolutely commits to it.”
This year, Simon flew his girls to his Malibu home and Dermot can’t understand why he risks letting his excited contestants loose on his luxury abode.
He said of the house: “It’s immaculate! I haven’t snooped round Simon’s house – I’m never going to do that. You don’t go upstairs.
“Like I said, it’s all immaculate. Very monochrome.
“I don’t know why he lets us in. He does it every year – I think he’s crazy. There’s no way I would let people in my house. Your electricity bill alone must go through the roof. But we can’t get Simon to go anywhere else.”
But Dermot enjoys going to Sharon Osbourne’s Los Angeles home because he has things in common with her husband Ozzy.
He said “I have been to Sharon’s house before. It’s ace.
“I went to the toilet last time and found myself in Ozzy’s study and thought, ‘Oh, I took a wrong turn, I shouldn’t be in here. This isn’t my stuff.’
“There was lots of literature in there, which is great. I’m a big history buff, so that was good.”
Going back to Ibiza with Louis Walsh brought back some memories of the presenter’s earlier career.
He told heat magazine: “When I was just starting out as a presenter, I did one of the worst TV shows ever in Ibiza.
“It was a Channel 4 show called ‘The Dog’s Balearics’ and they promised me this show about Ibizan culture and stuff – but it was dreadful. Anyway, it’s always nice to be in Louis’ ever expanding property empire.”

Pete Wicks is sent home from Marbella after explosive row with Megan McKenna

OHMYGOSSIP — Pete Wicks has reportedly been sent home from Marbella after an explosive row with Megan McKenna.
The 26-year-old ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ star – who has been dating his 24-year-old co-star for six months – has recently been filming the new season on ‘The Only Way is Marbs’ in the sunny climate, but after a heated row with Megan over him sending suggestive messages to his ex-girlfriend Jacqui Ryland whilst on holiday with Megan in Barcelona, producers have decided to put him on the next flight back to Essex.
A source told The Sun Online: “Pete was due to stay on till the end of filming in Marbella as he is one of the main cast.
“But he is being sent home early.”
And it is believed the feud between the couple has caused “tension” on set, which will feature in a two-part special on ITVBe in upcoming weeks.
The source added: “There is so much drama on set right now and they are hoping this will ease the tension.”
And fellow cast members have taken to social media to describe the uncomfortable atmosphere.
James ‘Arg’ Argent tweeted: “All hells broke loose in this gaff!!! Get me back to #Essex #marbs. (sic).”
This news comes after the 30-year-old former lover of the tattooed hunk revealed text messages exchanged between the pair, which sees Pete question his future with Jacqui if he was single and suggestions he would break up with Megan after their “boring” holiday to Barcelona.
Although the former ‘Ex On The Beach’ star – who is known for her hot temper – had remained quite quiet about the matter, she has recently retweeted a comment made about Jacqui describing her as “the worst girl”, and has slammed the mother of three for her actions.
Speaking about Jacqui on Twitter on Saturday (01.10.16), Megan said: “That b***h had enough press off me for the day (sic).”

Woody Allen 'beats himself up' over every project

OHMYGOSSIP — Woody Allen “beats himself up” over every project, according to actor John Magaro.
The 80-year-old actor and filmmaker works himself up into a frenzy over ever project he is set to complete and always doubts his ability to produce a successful final product, and was even tempted to stop filming for his first television series ‘Crisis in Six Scenes’ featuring Miley Cyrus.
Speaking about the film director, Magaro said: “I feel like Woody says that about everything. I feel like every project he gets onto he beats himself up over and thinks why’s he doing it. But I also feel like he loves the work. Every year he puts out a film. And this year, he put out a film [and a] TV series. He’s already on to the next [film].”
This news comes after Allen said shouldn’t have signed himself up to create the six-part American show because he didn’t expect it to be such “hard work”.
Speaking at the ‘Crisis in Six Scenes’ New York Premier, he told The Hollywood Reporter: “It’s much harder than I thought. I thought, ‘Oh I do a movie all the time, and I’ve gotten so that I can do them,’ and I thought ‘Television, just six half hours, I can knock that off as if it’s nothing.’ But it wasn’t nothing.
“It was very hard work and I struggled and worked hard and it was much harder work than a movie and even more because you have to begin and end all of the time. It was a big nuisance. I mean I couldn’t just phone it in, to say the least.”
And Allen has revealed he feared the programme would be a “cosmic embarrassment”.
Speaking previously, he said: “I don’t watch any of those television series, so I don’t know what I’m doing. I’m floundering. I expect this to be a cosmic embarrassment.”

Judge Rinder is terrified of dropping his partner Oksana Platero

OHMYGOSSIP — Judge Rinder is terrified of dropping his partner Oksana Platero.
The 38-year-old criminal judge – whose full name is Robert Rinder – is busy rehearsing for this weekend’s performance on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ in the hope he will walk away with the 2016 Mirrorball trophy, but he has admitted he’s worried the routine could go “horribly wrong” and he will injure his professional dance partner.
Speaking on the Absolute Radio Christian O’Connell Breakfast Show on Friday (30.09.16), the ‘Judge Rinder’ host said: “I’m doing something called an American smooth which involves all sorts of things including various lifts, which I’m a bit alarmed about because frankly it could all go horribly wrong. I can’t imagine it ending terribly well for me if I drop poor Oksana.”
And Judge Rinder has revealed his nerves are also on edge because he is “completely terrified” of Oksana when she shouts at him, which is her tactic to make him work harder.
He said: “Never underestimate the enormous power and creative output when you’ve got somebody who completely terrifies you.”
But it hasn’t made a blind bit of difference to his concentration during rehearsals for the BBC One show.
He explained: “You’re supposed to do rather a lot of training, sort of six or seven hours really but I can only take so much in. I read books fairly quickly and get bored after a while and there’s only so much shouting she can do at me before I sort of flip into a coma.”
And it’s not just his mental state that’s taking a battering. He has also revealed he can barely walk following his last performance, where he twirled around so much he almost ended up on Bruno Tonioli’s lap.
He said: “I’m walking around like a slightly strange combination of John Wayne [legs wide apart] at the moment because I can barely walk. It’s a disaster. The audience should watch tomorrow just to see what’s going to happen through their fingers.”

Jeff Hordley will never quit Emmerdale

OHMYGOSSIP — Jeff Hordley has confirmed he has no plans to quit ‘Emmerdale’.
The 46-year-old actor – who has played Cain Dingle in the longstanding soap after he joined the programme 16 years ago in 2000 – has admitted he doesn’t intend on leaving the Yorkshire Dales, despite his three-year break from the show in 2006.
Speaking on ‘Loose Women’ on Friday (30.09.16) about his future on the hit soap, he said: “I left [in 2006] to pursue more theatre and do other jobs because I’d only done five years at drama school and then I got ‘Emmerdale’, so I wanted to go out and do a bit more things in the industry [‘Mother Goose’, ‘Animal Farm’ and ‘The Caretaker’].
“But now I’m so settled with my children and my wife there that it just seems silly to up sticks again and leave because I work with such a great team, I’ve got such a great, fantastic part that the writers keep writing some superb stuff for.”
Meanwhile, the dark-haired hunk – who has eight-year-old son Stan and 11-year-old daughter Violet with his wife and co-star Zoe Henry, who plays Rhona Goskirk – has admitted the writers never put the couple together on the same story-lines.
Speaking about his co-star and spouse, he said: “We joined the same episode together and have been through the same journey in terms of the characters growing up together and us getting used to getting recognised together. Before we joined the show no one knew who we were apart from my stupid dad dancing from some years ago, so we’re really close.”
Although some plots have to remain a secret, Jeff has admitted they don’t have to keep their scripts under tight security from their children because they don’t share an interest in ‘Emmerdale’ and don’t watch the soap at home.
He explained: “The kids don’t really watch it. My daughter actually said to me a couple of days ago ”Coronation Street’, ‘EastEnders’, ‘Emmerdale’ – it’s not really my genre’. She’s nearly 12 so I was like ‘Okay that’s fine’.”

Melvin Odoom relies on EastEnders Jake Wood for dance advice

OHMYGOSSIP — Melvin Odoom has turned to ‘EastEnders’ star Jake Wood for dancing advice.
The 36-year-old television presenter – who has been partnered with dance professional Janette Manrara on this year’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ – has admitted he has been “struggling” to pick up the complex routines and has been in contact with the 44-year-old actor, who danced his way to week 12 with Janette in 2014, for tips to twirl into the final.
Speaking on KISS FM – the radio show which Melvin is a resident DJ on – on Friday (30.09.16), he said: “I was struggling picking up the routine, he called us on his lunch break and I said, ‘I’m struggling with this and that,’ and he goes, ‘Do you know what Melv? Janette is a great teacher and a dance partner, you’ve got nothing to worry about.’
“There is no one else that understands my schedule like him. He was doing ‘EastEnders’, he was learning the routine for ‘Strictly’, he was performing every single Saturday so he knows it and he had the same partner as well. So to hear that from him meant so much to me.”
And Melvin has revealed he has got the soap star’s phone number saved in case he needs “help” in an emergency.
He explained: “And he [Jake] said, ‘Look, give Melvin my number. If he needs any help, just get him to give me a call,’ and that was the nicest thing for me and he is a genuine guy, he’s a good guy.”
Janette has revealed Melvin is apprehensive about taking to the stage on Saturday (01.10.16) to dance the Charleston, although she is confident he will be “amazing”.
She said: “Melvin’s really dreading the Charleston and I have a funny feeling he’s going to be amazing at it.”
Although Melvin is anxious about tomorrow’s show, he “can’t wait” to take to the floor to dance the salsa, regardless if it is his last dance.
Speaking about his favourite dance, he said: “I can’t wait for salsa, I can’t wait for that, I hope it get that down, and do you know what? If I leave the competition with a salsa, I’ll be happy for learning the salsa.”

Pete Wicks is a 'complete dog' for messaging his ex on holiday with Megan McKenna

OHMYGOSSIP — Pete Wicks has been branded “a complete dog” after he messaged his ex partner whilst on holiday with his girlfriend Megan McKenna.
The 26-year-old ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ – who began dating his ITVBe co-star earlier this year – has allegedly exchanged explicit texts with model Jacqui Ryland, 30, who he dated in secret for two months in January this year, whilst on a “boring” getaway in Barcelona, Spain, with Megan.
And it has been reported by The Sun Online Pete – who is nicknamed Pirate Pete – was fed up of Megan not drinking whilst the pair were away and was regularly “slagging off” his beau to Jacqui, which saw him confess he missed his romance with the 30 year old and was planning to break up with Megan after six-months of dating when they returned to England.
Speaking to The Sun online, Jacqui said: “Why is he doing all these big public affections with her when actually he is just a complete dog? I always thought he was a really nice guy who was respectful to women. I was attracted to his banter.
“So when his dog died I just messaged him to say sorry. The conversation just started back up and before you knew it the old Pete was back being flirty.
“To say you never know what’s around the corner and to say stuff like she doesn’t drink – it’s almost slagging her off. He was making slide little remarks that actually if I was her I’d be really hurt by that.”
Among the suggestive messages exchanged between Pete and Jacqui were implications Pete would rekindle his romance with the mother of three if he was single.
One message from Jacqui read: “Not my fault you got into a relationship.”
To which the tattooed star replied: “O shut up! It’s not my fault either! Imagine if I hadn’t…reckon we would still have been talking now?
“It’s a shame, it ain’t just you that misses [being single] it to be fair!”
And when asked why he embarked on a new romance, the reality TV personality replied: “You never know what’s gonna happen!!”
However, Jacqui has admitted she was “shocked” her conversation became sexual and has titled Pete a “loverat”.
She said: “He was doing the public affection thing with her and then sending me these messages.
“I think he has this whole public perception of him that he is this big-hearted guy – but I think he is very clever. He totally wooed me at the beginning.
“He was messaging me as she sat next to him at the pool. He even sent me a voice note. How he got away with that I don’t know.
“I think given the chance, and had he felt he would have got away with it, I think he would have met up with me. There is a loverat within him.”
And Jacqui has admitted she feels “really sorry” for the 24-year-old brunette beauty.
She added: “I just feel really sorry for Megan. Clearly she is a girl who wears her heart on her sleeve and I think he could potentially really hurt her.”
Meanwhile, Megan – who was gifted a Rolex watch by her beau for her birthday four days ago – has taken to social media to slam Jacqui as she retweeted a comment, which described Jacqui as the “worst type of girl”.
The tweet read: “This girls says she ‘feels sorry’ for Megan McKenna but told the whole world instead of just telling her? Worst type of girl.(sic).”
And Megan – who has been in Marbella, Spain, with Pete and fellow cast members to film ‘The Only Way is Marbs’ – has revealed she “can’t wait” to return home.
She tweeted: “Can’t wait to get back to Essex and have a famous McKenna roast dinner… Mum best get them potatoes on for me the weekend (sic).”
Despite the cyber infidelity Pete has recently gushed about Megan and has branded them both as a “misunderstood couple”.
He tweeted: “We are a misunderstood couple but I can’t put in to words how lucky I am to have a bird that stands by me like she does…@Megan_Mckenna_ (sic).”

Nicole Scherzinger thinks Sharon Osbourne is her 'strongest competition'

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicole Scherzinger thinks Sharon Osbourne is her “strongest competition”.
The 38-year-old singer – who has returned to ‘The X Factor’ this year after previously judging the talent show for two series in 2012 and 2013 – is set to mentor the Boys in this year’s show, but is wary the Overs will give her and her singers a run for their money.
Speaking on ‘This Morning’ on Friday (30.09.16), the ‘Right There’ hitmaker said: “My strongest competition is Mrs O’s category, which is the Overs – they have some really strong, heavy hitters and big voices. People who are really experienced.”
Although the brunette beauty has admitted she feels slightly threatened by the red-headed judges artists, she “definitely thinks” she has the winner among her soloists.
She said: “[But] I definitely think I could possibly have the winner here!” Before adding, “I think I have at least one or two stars.”
And the former Pussycat Dolls band member has admitted the judges’ houses is her “least favourite part” of filming ‘The X Factor’, because she “dreads” having to whittle down her group by half.
She explained: “This is my least favourite part. This is where I forget the gorgeous view and I’m dreading having to send more than half of my boys home.”
Meanwhile Nicole, who mentored presenter Rylan Clark-Neal in the ninth season of the show in 2012 and took him through to the live stage, has admitted the ‘Up Late With Rylan’ host wasn’t the “strongest” singer she took through, but decided to take him through to the next round because he had the “‘it’ factor”.
She explained: “Back in the day, when I had him for my boys category… he didn’t have the strongest vocals, but there was something about him. He had that ‘it’ factor, the X Factor and he’s a star and people love him. He’s a natural and he’s lots of fun.”

Mark Wahlberg always travels with his friends

OHMYGOSSIP — Mark Wahlberg won’t travel without his friends.
The 45-year-old actor – who has been cast as the heroic Mike Williams in the new movie ‘Deepwater Horizon’, which is based on the 2010 oil-rig explosion in America – has admitted he can’t go anywhere without his close friends by his side, although his pals may get “fired” for a little while but soon return to his clique.
When asked about his travel partners, he said: “Yeah [I travel with my friends]! They may get fired for a short amount of time but they always come back. We’re not the most professional group.
“I have a major issue with adolescent behaviour with my friends.”
And the star has revealed his friends are “certainly happy” for him and his successful career at the helm of the film industry, and he has admitted he even tries to share his success with them.
He said: “My real friends are certainly happy for the success I’ve had. But I try to spread and share as much as possible.
“Well, I come from the real world and you’re only as good as the people around you. That’s always been my philosophy. I don’t know if it’s because of my background in sports, but I want the whole team to be good.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Entourage’ star – who also co-produced the film and TV show based on his life – has admitted despite owning a “fancy car”, he still tries to be a realist and not get to carried away with his fame.
Wahlberg – who has daughters Ella, 13, Grace, six, and sons Brendan, eight, and Michael, ten, with his wife Rhea – explained to the Guardian newspaper: “Look, I live in a big house, I drive a fancy car. But I still feel like I’m going to end up where I came from and as long as I can go there with my head held high and I’m welcomed back with open arms, then I’m OK.
“A lot of things happened and I made a lot of mistakes. But you try to live in the moment and look to the future.”

Kevin Feige says using magic in action shots in Doctor Strange was most challenging

OHMYGOSSIP — Kevin Feige struggled to use magic in his latest film ‘Doctor Strange’.
The 43-year-old American film producer – who is also the President of Marvel Studios – has admitted the biggest challenge he was faced with whilst filming the upcoming science fiction film, which stars Benedict Cumberbatch as the leading hero Sorcerer Supreme, Rachel McAdams and Tilda Swinton, was shooting the “action sequences”.
In an interview with Collider, Feige said: “The use of magic for action sequences was something that took a long time to figure out what road to take. We did not – and [director] Scott [Derrickson] was very smart – in not wanting it to simply be someone shoots a bolt of lightning, and someone blocks a ball of lightning, so someone throws another bolt of lightning, so someone blocks another bolt of lightning.
“There are interpretations of that. But we wanted to do something different, and we wanted to tap into this notion of the multiverse, of dimensions right next to our own.”
However, Feige and his team believe they have been successful in finding a solution as he has admitted although the movie includes the “light blasts” prominent in other blockbusters, he has also created a realm “totally different” to other action scenes in any other movie.
Feige – who is the mastermind behind ‘Captain America: Civil War’, ‘The Avenger’s’ and ‘Iron Man 3’ – explained: “We’ve seen light blast versus light blast before. Again, there’s some of that in this movie for impact, and for dynamic attacks, but really this is about, and the sort of four main action scenes have been structured around which power from which dimensions are they going to be use to screw with our world now … So something that starts as a footchase becomes totally unrecognisable.”

Noel Edmonds to launch radio station for pets

OHMYGOSSIP — Noel Edmonds is set to launch the first radio station for pets.
The ‘Deal or No Deal’ presenter – who is not afraid to voice his opinions – is adamant he hasn’t “lost the plot” after he decided to set up a website stocked with motivational speeches for animals that may be feeling under the weather.
Speaking to the MailOnline, he said: “What plot? Someone accused me of having ‘gone off the rails’ but I’ve never been on them hence the success and happiness I enjoy on a daily basis. I always have a giggle.
“Too many people take the living experience too seriously. What’s the point of life if we can’t be positive, have fun and make the world a better place?”
Since the 67-year-old host revealed his plans, he’s had more than 2,000 email applications seeking his help so he’s now decided to bring the launch forward and is hoping his radio station called Positively Pets will be on air by Christmas.
He said: “We have now decided to bring forward our plans to launch the world’s first radio station exclusively for animals – Positively Pets – and hope to be on-air by Christmas. I’m inviting pet lovers to send in their audio messages for their loved ones and we will broadcast them plus music requests and ‘special relaxing tones’ for pets left at home alone.”
Noel’s decision to launch his radio station for furry friends comes just weeks after it was revealed his show ‘Deal or No Deal’, which he’s fronted for 11 years, is getting the chop.
A source said recently: “‘Deal Or No Deal’ doesn’t get the ratings it used to and it is not a cheap daytime show to make. Noel and ‘Deal’ had a great run but bosses have just decided it is the right time to end the series.”

Louis Walsh wants to do Gogglebox

OHMYGOSSIP — Louis Walsh wants to take part in ‘Gogglebox’.
The ‘X Factor’ judge thinks he’d have people in hysterics if he took part in the programme, which sees families and groups of friends from around England and Wales reacting to television shows from their own homes, with Sharon Osbourne.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, he said: “I’d go on ‘Gogglebox’, I’d be good on ‘Gogglebox’. Can you imagine me with Sharon? We’d be great fun, cursing and shouting, watching [The ‘X Factor’s rival] ‘Strictly’ [Come Dancing].”
The 64-year-old music manager was in the running to join this year’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ line up after he was dramatically dropped from ‘The X Factor’ judging panel last year.
However, he has since been rehired by big boss Simon Cowell and is adamant he’d “never” take part in the dancing show.
He explained: “I would never do ‘Strictly…’ because I can’t dance. It’s not for me. I wouldn’t do ‘The Voice’, I couldn’t do it, I have sl***ed it off too much and I like doing this show and working with Simon. People don’t understand how well I know him. We’re mischievous, we were on the phone together every day for 15 years when working with Westlife. He’s a one-off.”
But, although viewers wanted him back on the panel, Louis has already started to cause carnage as he couldn’t make up his mind which acts he wanted to take through to Judges’ Houses last weekend and kept making last minute changes.
This year, Louis – who has been on the show since 2004 – will mentor the Groups category, while Sharon will take on the Over 25s, Nicole Scherzinger gets the Boys and Simon will do all he can to make a star out of one of the Girls.

Emmerdale's Sophie Powles knew she was being killed off

OHMYGOSSIP — Emmerdale’s Sophie Powles knew her character was going to be killed off when she agreed to return earlier this year.
The 28-year-old actress was persuaded to reprise her role as troubled Holly Barton – who has battled with heroin addiction on and off – in March this year after she quit the soap four years earlier, but she has admitted she always knew her alter ego was only going to stick around for six months before she’d pass away from a drugs overdose.
Speaking to the Radio Times Online, she said: “I always knew I was only coming back for a six-month storyline and I knew it was going to be drug-related and heartbreaking. I was prepared for this and I knew what I was signing up for when I spoke to the producer about returning.
“The ‘Emmerdale’ script and story team had already planned Holly’s return and what would happen to her and they really wanted me on board to help tell this story.
“We wanted to highlight how hard and destructive drug addiction can be. Of course, there are many positive stories out there where people are doing really well and have recovered from drug addiction and therefore this ‘Emmerdale’ storyline of course doesn’t represent everyone.
“This is Holly’s personal story. Drug addiction is shocking sometimes and you can look at someone like Holly and think she has everything sorted in life, but out of nowhere everything can spiral out of control.”
Viewers were left in tears at the end of Thursday (29.09.16) night’s shock episode when Holly’s heartbroken mother Moira Barton (Natalie J. Robb) found her lifeless body.
Sophie said: “Holly and Moira have an incredible relationship and have really bonded recently and I’m proud of the relationship we’ve created. Holly’s appeared to be happy and healthy and Moira’s finally been feeling that her daughter’s doing well … I think it’s always been in the back of Moira’s mind that she could lose Holly because she almost has three times. Moira’s going to be absolutely heartbroken, but she’s a lionhearted woman and she’s strong and I really hope she can come back from this.”
And, although she knew she was leaving, Sophie couldn’t help but shed a tear when she shot her exit scenes.
She explained: “I’ve had the best six months and I couldn’t ask for a nicer bunch of people to work with. I’ve been so supported. I was fine until the last day and then suddenly it all felt so real. I managed to keep it together until the very last scene and then suddenly I was an emotional wreck.”

Nick Knowles ends 10-year BBC deal

OHMYGOSSIP — Nick Knowles has ended his golden handcuffs deal with the BBC.
The 54-year-old presenter has been with the corporation for the past 10 years and while he is still a fan of the BBC, he wants to earn more money elsewhere.
He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “I could work for ITV, Channel 4 or Sky and get four times the amount of money.
“From a presenter’s point of view, do I stay at the BBC and earn less or go and earn a lot more? It’s not just how much you’re earning but how long are you in the public eye providing for your family. I’ve got a two-year-old son.
“I’ve been exclusive to the BBC for 10 years. This year I’m now able to – and will – make shows with other channels.”
The ‘DIY SOS’ star says he’s excited about the future and what it holds.
He revealed: “I’ve got some great programmes coming up on other channels. It’s a really exciting time,” he insists. Plus, I’m spending a lot of time making movies, so that’s keeping me busy.”
Nick is also very annoyed that the salaries of the BBC’s main stars will be made public next year, which he believes will lead to claims many are overpaid.
He added: “The difficulty is that as a presenter I could get four times the amount or stay at the BBC and be told that I’m earning too much.
“So why would the presenters stay? If I can earn in two years what I would earn in eight at the BBC, wouldn’t it be better to secure my son’s future?”

Georgia May Foote upset over Giovanni and Laura

OHMYGOSSIP — Georgia May Foote and Laura Whitmore have reportedly fallen out over ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ professional Giovanni Pernice.
The former ‘Coronation Street’ actress split from the Italian dancer in August after getting together on last year’s show and is said to be unhappy about his blossoming friendship with her pal Laura.
According to The Sun, Georgia contacted Laura to discuss her concerns but it didn’t end well.
A source said: “Georgia confronted Laura over the pictures of her and Giovanni. She knew they would get close because of the hours they’re putting in during training but Georgia just wanted Laura to stop plastering it across social media because she’s still upset about the split.
“Laura was furious and didn’t hold back, telling her: ‘You’re ruining my ‘Strictly’ experience.
“Georgia thinks Laura’s being a real diva and is throwing their friendship away. All Georgia wanted was for her to be a bit more low key but Laura’s having none of it.”
Georgia, 25, has now unfollowed Laura on Twitter, but the TV presenter still follows her.
And Georgia must’ve been even more upset this week when former ‘Strictly’ dancer Gleb Savchenco said Giovanni and Laura are bound to get together.
He said: “I bet you £100 Giovanni will get with Laura this year.”
However, Laura has always insisted there is nothing romantic going on between her and Giovanni and there never will be.

Michelle Rodriguez calls for more women in Fast and Furious films

OHMYGOSSIP — Michelle Rodriguez will quit the ‘Fast and Furious’ franchise if more female cast members aren’t brought in.
The 38-year-old actress has played Letty since the saga’s inception but having Charlize Theron and Dame Helen Mirren on set for latest outing ‘Fast 8’ only confirmed her belief that the movies – which also star the likes of Vin Diesel, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Jason Statham, Scott Eastwood and Tyrese Gibson – need more “feminine energy”.
She told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “In order for me to be a part of the franchise in the future, they need to up the ante on the females.
“I mean, it’s like a sausage factory in this thing.
“I just need some more feminine energy. We need some more women on the good side.”
Michelle only got to work with Charlize for a few days but was very impressed by her performance as gun-wielding baddie Cipher and thinks she’s the best villain yet.
She said: “We’re gonna go hard on this one. Charlize Theron is, I think, the most powerful villain this franchise has ever seen.”
Meanwhile, Michelle can next be seen in family drama ‘Milton’s Secret’, which tells the story of a young boy’s battle against bullying, and she felt it was an important tale to tell as she herself has learned how hurtful words can be as she’s gotten older.
She said: “I’m more sensitive now because I’ve always been a very tomboyish… I just never gave a f**k about words.
“Now I understand that I have to respect words and words are powerful and they are dangerous and they hurt people.”
