Rosamund Pike happy being 'No 2'

OHMYGOSSIP — Rosamund Pike is happy playing “No. 2”.
The 37-year-old actress – who shot to fame as psychopath Amy Dunne opposite Ben Affleck’s Nick Dunne in ‘Gone Girl’ – admitted she has no qualms playing second fiddle to a man on set.
Asked if taking on the lead role of Amy – who had just as much screen time as Ben in ‘Gone Girl’ – was a rare moment in her career, she said: “Ben was still No. 1 on the callsheet. The guy’s usually No. 1… but maybe I’m quite comfortable being No. 2. I quite like that place. I don’t know that I’m that easy with being No 1.
“Note to self: go home and read scripts where female character is the lead.”
And Rosamund acknowledged she’s been reluctant to step into the limelight because of the pressure of “carrying” the movie.
She mused: “I suppose you feel there’s somewhere to go. It’s an interesting question…
“You’re carrying the movie when you’re No 1. and I don’t know that I’m ready for that yet. I should be.”
The British star received plaudits for her recent role playing Ruth Williams in the biographical drama ‘A United Kingdom’ and is currently looking for an actor to cast in a supporting role in her next as-yet-untitled movie.
And Rosamund thinks Christian Bale would be perfect for the role.
She told The Guardian newspaper: “You have to approach the right man at the right time, because men don’t want to play second fiddle to a woman. That’s the truth. It’s sad, isn’t it?
“Christian [Bale] might be different – he’s a leading man who quite wants to be a supporting actor, and is quite unusual in that respect.”

Coronation Street's Maria to be jailed

OHMYGOSSIP — Coronation Street’s Maria Connor will be jailed for a year.
The hairdresser – who is played by Samia Longchambon – is currently on remand in prison after evil Caz Hammond (Rhea Bailey) faked her own death to make it look like the Weatherfield resident had killed her, but it is her sham marriage to Pablo Duarte (Shai Matheson) which will put her behind bars.
A source said: “Maria will be handed a 12-month stretch but she’ll be back on the cobbles in the new year because of good behaviour.
“The scene is set to shock fans as they know she didn’t murder Caz but won’t see the sham marriage sentence coming.”
The storyline is expected to draw comparisons to Deirdre Barlow’s infamous wrongful conviction for fraud in 1998 which prompted a nationwide ‘Free the Weatherfield One’ campaign and was even debated in Parliament with then-Prime Minster Tony Blair promising to intervene.
The source added to The Sun newspaper: “It will be one of the most shocking court storylines in the soap’s history and likened to Deirdre Barlow’s wrongful conviction.
“Usually these plots are arranged to give actors a break but Samia will be seen from time to time in jail and will do some filming.”
Caz recently framed Maria by entering her flat and leaving blood everywhere, and she also planted a pair of the hairdresser’s scissors soaked in claret.
Maria married Argentine Pablo, who she met in Cyprus, to help him get a visa and recently had to head to London to spend time with him to make it look as though they were a couple.
But their secret was recently exposed following all the police attention surrounding Maria.

Reverend Kate Bottley explains Gogglebox absence

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Gogglebox’ star Reverend Kate Bottley has been on a break from the show to support her daughter through her exams.
The 41-year-old TV pundit has taken to social media to reveal the reason she has not been on the current series of the popular Channel 4 programme – on which sits on the coach alongside her husband Graham Bottley – was because they needed some much needed time away from the screen.
Taking to Twitter to reply to one of her 80,000 followers, she wrote: “Hi, our daughter has her GCSES so we needed a break from the cameras (sic)”
As well as their daughter Kate and Graham have a son Arthur, who suffers from an autism spectrum disorder and struggled in social situations.
However, Kate recently shared how getting into online gaming has helped him make friends and develop his social skills.
She shared: “Online gaming really helps him, and he’s got a little community that he plays with. These are his friends. These are his community. These are the people that he learns how to socialise with.”
Kate insists events like the GameCity festival in Nottingham in the Midlands have also helped her son connect with people in real life too.
She said: “We can let Arthur go here, and he can talk to anyone. And they won’t make him feel stupid, and they won’t make him feel silly, and they will listen to him … He’s quite used to being the weirdest kid in the class. He’s not the weirdest kid here.”
It comes after it was revealed the vicar will be swapping Channel 4 for BBC2 to appear on the celebrity version of ‘Mastermind’.

Andrea Bocelli to star in biopic

OHMYGOSSIP — Andrea Bocelli has filmed a cameo in a biopic about himself.
The 58-year-old singer has shot scenes of him performing Puccini’s ‘Nessun dorma’ onstage at Cinecitta Studios in Rome for the forthcoming film ‘The Music of Silence’, which is based on his memoirs of the same name, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
But Andrea will only appear in a small part of the motion picture as Toby Sebastian has signed up to portray his alter-ego, Amos Bardi, with Antonio Banderas set to star as his maestro.
Luisa Ranieri and Jordi Molla will play his mother and father respectively.
The biopic will tell the story of Bocelli’s life growing up in Italy when he went blind aged 12, and the struggles he encountered to read music in Braille and other issues he faced in law school and at talent shows.
The film will also recall the moment he was discovered by Luciano Pavarotti when he heard him perform Allegri’s ‘Miserere’.
He has gone on to sell more than 80 million albums worldwide and had seven records in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart.
Some of Bocelli’s previously unreleased songs from his youth will also be heard in the biopic.
Andrea Iervolino, Monika Bacardi and Roberto Sessa are producing the movie.

J.J Abrams regrets not directing Star Wars: Episode VIII

OHMYGOSSIP — J.J. Abrams regrets not signing up to direct ‘Star Wars: Episode VIII’.
The 50-year-old filmmaker is best known for his directorial roles on sci-fi productions such as ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ and ‘Star Trek’, and, although he is producing the next movie in the blockbuster franchise, he’s going to miss working directly with the likes of Daisy Ridley and Mark Hamill.
He told Variety: “I’d be lying if I said there genre’t pangs of regret.
“Particularly when I realise I won’t get to say ‘Action!’ to Daisy Ridley, or get to work with Mark Hamill in a scene where he gets to speak.”
Meanwhile, Abrams has turned his talents to co-producing a comedy play for Broadway.
‘The Play That Goes Wrong’ was originally made for audiences in London’s West End, and is now being transferred over to New York City where it will land a spot on Broadway.
Abrams will be joining a team of producers led by New York stage veteran Kevin McCollum, along with London producer Kenny Wax, who led the play to success on the West End.
The play centres around an amateur actors group who attempt to perform a 1920s murder mystery play with disastrous – and hilarious – consequences.
Having ran in the West End since 2014, the play has also spawned two more titles in the franchise, ‘The Comedy About a Bank Robbery’, and ‘Peter Pan Goes Wrong’.
On Broadway, the play is expected to open in April at the Lyceum Theatre and will star the original West End cast, including co-writers Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer and Henry Shields.
Previews for ‘The Play That Goes Wrong’ begin on March 9 2017, just under a month before the April 2 opening date.

Jacqueline Jossa 'doesn't feel sexy' any more

OHMYGOSSIP — Jacqueline Jossa “doesn’t feel sexy” any more.
The ‘EastEnders’ actress lost her confidence after giving birth to daughter Ella in February 2015, but her fiance Dan Osborne says her recent Sexiest Female win at the Inside Soap awards has given her a much-needed boost.
He said: “She was really happy to win that award. She didn’t think she could win it after she’d had a baby- she doesn’t think he’s sexy any more.
“But now she feels good about herself and has had a confidence boost.”
Despite Jacqueline having to get close to other guys in her scenes as Lauren Branning on the BBC One soap, Dan insists he never gets jealous.
He said: “I’m not a jealous guy. I’m actually mates with Aaron Sidwell (Steven Beale), who kisses her on TV. We play football together and we get on great. It’s her job. It can be full-on, but that’s what it is.”
But the 25-year-old star- who also has three-year-old son Teddy with ex-girlfriend Megan Tomlin – admitted he does sometimes feel envious when he tunes into his former show ‘The Only Way is Essex’.
He said: “I miss it sometimes but I don’t sit at home wishing I was still on it.
“It was a great time of my life but nothing beats being at home with the kids.
“They’re the best thing that’s happened to me by a billion miles.”
And for now, Dan is busy helping his fiancee plan their wedding.
He told Closer magazine: “We’ve got the date set for next summer and have a lot of planning to do. We haven’t booked the venue yet but we won’t get married in Essex. We’re choosing between a few different places. Lockie and Arg will be invited to the wedding and a few more of the cast will be invited to the reception.”

Stephanie Davis is vomiting 'all day every day'

OHMYGOSSIP — Stephanie Davis has been vomiting “all day every day.”
The 23-year-old actress is nine weeks away from when she’s expected to give birth to her first child but it seems her nausea, which she experienced throughout the first and second trimester, is still taking over her life as she can’t stop being sick “everywhere.”
Taking to her Twitter account on Wednesday (23.11.16), the brunette beauty – who is currently in London for work – said: “This being sick has to stop soon, hate not feeling well and having to run to find somewhere to be sick. All day every day man (sic).”
The former ‘Hollyoaks’ star hasn’t had the easiest of pregnancy so far as she was rushed to hospital last week when she woke up in the the night with excruciating pain in her stomach, began vomiting violently and saw blood leaking from her back passage.
She said: “At about 4 o’clock in the morning, I had the worst pain ever. The pain just started getting really bad, I was panicking. The pain was that bad that I was vomiting.
“I was seeing black dots and then my mum came to the toilet with me and obviously I was in so much pain that I wasn’t sure what was going on and then when it got to the top of the pain, I felt a release. And I was like, ‘Oh mum, what’s that? I feel better now!’ And she looked just to make sure everything was OK and she saw loads of blood come out. So she started panicking … It was from the back passage.”
Although the blood was pouring out of her anus, doctors still rushed Stephanie up to the maternity suite as they were convinced she could have been going into labour.
She said: “I ended up going to hospital and I’m still waiting for some results. They couldn’t give me too many drugs because I’m pregnant … They took me straight up to the delivery ward because the blood was coming out and the pain was that bad I was vomiting, everything was pushing down there so water came out.”
Doctors are still running tests on the brunette beauty but think she could have Colitis – a chronic life-long condition in which the colon and rectum become inflamed.
She explained: “They think I’ve got Colitis which flares up every now and then but they’re not sure yet, they’re waiting on other results.”

Vogue Williams to join The Jump

OHMYGOSSIP — Vogue Williams is set to take part in the forthcoming series of ‘The Jump’.
The 30-year-old television presenter has agreed to swap her killer heels for a pair ski boots as she heads to the Austrian mountains in January for the winter sports show.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, she said: “I’m thrilled to be taking part in ‘The Jump’ as it’s a show I’ve wanted to do for years! I love winter sports, so I can’t wait to put my ski boots on and hit the Austrian slopes. It’s going to be so much fun and I’m looking forward to a bit of friendly competition with the other celebs!”
However, the blonde beauty will certainly have her work cut out as she will be up against previously-announced competitors England International footballer Robbie Fowler, England Rugby Captain Jason Robinson OBE and Spencer Matthews.
Vogue’s signing comes just a year after her ex-husband Brian McFadden – who she was married to from 2012 until 2015 – took part in the competition but, despite his impressive skills on the ice, he was eliminated from the show before the grand final.
Although she loves winter sports, Vogue is no doubt riddled with nerves as last year’s show was responsible for a number of celebrities experiencing life-changing injuries.
The last series saw gymnast Beth Tweddle break her back, ‘Made in Chelsea’ star Mark-Francis Vandelli fracture his ankle and Rebecca Adlington dislocate her shoulder.
The spike in injuries meant bosses were forced to revisit the risky format and discuss whether it was worth bringing it back for another series at the beginning of next year.
However, after bosses managed to persuade a good amount of stars to take part in the forthcoming series, producers were given the go-ahead to do another installment.

Call the Midwife returns for 3 more series

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Call the Midwife’ has been commissioned for three more series.
The period drama – starring Helen George and, up until recently, Pam Ferris and Miranda Hart – is set to stay on our television screens for at least another four years after producers were given the go-ahead to work on another batch of episodes.
Heidi Thomas, Creator, Writer and Executive Producer said: “I am hugely excited by the prospect of creating three more series of ‘Call the Midwife’. In the 1960s, Britain was a country fizzing with change and challenge, and there is so much rich material – medical, social, and emotional – to be explored.
“We have now delivered well over one hundred babies on screen, and like those babies, the stories keep on coming! Above all else, it is an incredible privilege to work on a show that is made with such care, and received with such love.”
Since the show first hit screens in 2012, Heidi has taken a compassionate and bold approach to issues such as stillbirth, mental health, abortion, homosexuality and race.
Charlotte Moore, Director of BBC Content, said: “I’m privileged to have Britain’s most popular drama series on BBC One and this new three series commission underlines our commitment to the show and secures its future on screen until 2020.
“‘Call the Midwife’ continues to raise the bar with each new series and is really valued by audiences. The quality and ambition of the storytelling is credit to the excellence of writer Heidi Thomas who has successfully brought the show into the 1960’s with a diverse range of subjects.”
Although the next series won’t hit screens until early next year, fans won’t have to wait too long to be reunited with the well-loved residents of Nonnatus House, as the cameras will return briefly to Poplar, where the show is shot, next month for the forthcoming Christmas special.

Han Solo spin-off 'will have a Western-type feel'

OHMYGOSSIP — The Han Solo spin-off movie will have a “Western-type feel”, according to Lucasfilm chief Kathleen Kennedy.
The as-yet-untitled new movie in the ‘Star Wars’ franchise centres on the formative years of the iconic sci-fi character and Kathleen has revealed how the spin-off will be distinct from the earlier films.
She shared: “This moves closer to a heist or Western-type feel.
“We’ve talked about [Western-era artist Frederic] Remington and those primary colors that are used in his paintings defining the look and feel of the film.”
Meanwhile, Kathleen also revealed her ambition of having a female director helm at least one movie in the ‘Star Wars’ franchise.
However, she admitted that it’s important to find a female director whose experience matches the size of the role.
She told Variety: “We want to make sure that when we bring a female director in to do ‘Star Wars’ they’re set up for success.
“They’re gigantic films, and you can’t come into them with essentially no experience.”
Kathleen revealed Lucasfilm is busily trying to identify talented female directors in the early stages of their careers.
She explained: “We want to really start to focus in on people we would love to work with and see what kinds of things they’re doing to progress up that ladder now, and then pull them in when the time is right.”
She said, too, that Lucasfilm is keen to explore ways of making movie-watching a more interactive experience, partnering with Magic Leap, a virtual reality start-up, to achieve that ambition.
Kathleen shared: “We’re starting to have a lot more conversations with regard to mixed-reality, VR, AR, and what those experiences may be as an adjunct to what we’re doing with these films.
“There’s no question that we’re going to be exploring that.”

Michael McIntyre's Big Show set for third series

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael McIntyre’s ‘Big Show’ has been commissioned for a third series.
The 40-year-old comedian has been dished out a mega-money contract for another run of his popular comedic programme after more than six million viewers tuned in to watch the first episode of the its current series, which aired on Saturday (19.11.16).
He said: “Making the ‘Big Show’ has been the most fun I’ve had on TV.
“There are so many surprises and performances to come in the current series and I couldn’t be more thrilled and excited to be making a third series next year.”
And the star – who originally brought the show to screens for a one-off Christmas special in 2015 – has promised fans they won’t be disappointed with the current batch of episodes as the second series is jam packed with unexpected surprises.
He explained: “The show has naturally evolved from the first series and now everything has gone up a notch. We have lots of entertainment items running through the show, audience surprises, Unexpected Star, Send To All, stand up and much more.”
This weekend’s episode will see Michael bring back his famous celebrity text game Send To All, which will see the host stealing ‘Pointless’ presenter Alexander Armstrong’s phone and firing off awkward and rude messages to his contacts.
Michael has high hopes for his latest work but is slightly concerned, as his previous programme ‘Michael McIntrye’s Chat Show’ aired for just one series over nine months in 2015 and was axed on his terms after he felt “uncomfortable” with the format.
‘Big Show’ will return to screens on Saturday (26.11.16) at 8:10pm on BBC one as Michael is joined by his guests Alexander, Russell Howard and OneRepublic.

Max Branning to return to EastEnders

OHMYGOSSIP — Max Branning will make a surprise return to ‘EastEnders’ at Christmas.
The ginger love rat – who is played by Jake Wood – has only been seen briefly in Walford in July since he was wrongly convicted of Lucy Beale’s (Hetti Bywater) murder, and after being released in May when it emerged her little brother Bobby (Eliot Carrington) was the real killer, it looks like Max will have revenge in mind as he bursts in on their dad Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) and his family celebrations on 25 December.
Elsewhere on Albert Square during the festive season, the soap will continue to explore the ill health of alcoholic Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden), who is battling cirrhosis and is going rapidly downhill after rejecting a liver transplant, meaning this could well be his last Christmas.
And newly-released teasers for the BBC1 show reveal Lee Carter’s (Danny-Boy Hatchard) mental health will be further cause for concern as he struggles to cope with his lies to wife Whitney (Shona McGarty) about his job, while battling against the bullies.
But will his guilty conscience push him over the edge, or is he set for a confrontation?
Though it hasn’t been confirmed by show bosses, it is widely expected that the blonde sisters Ronnie and Roxy Mitchell will be killed off during the festive season.
It was previously claimed Ronnie (Samantha Womack) will be drowned by her own wedding dress shortly after marrying Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) for the second time.
A source said: “Ronnie has had some grim storylines, it’s fitting she goes in similar fashion.”
Ronnie will meet her maker after tragically finding her drunk sister Roxy – who previously slept with Jack – face down dead in a swimming pool.
But when Ronnie jumps in to try to save her sibling – portrayed by Rita Simons – she too will die.

Angélique 'Frenchy' Morgan to return to Celebrity Big Brother

OHMYGOSSIP — Angélique ‘Frenchy’ Morgan is set to return to ‘Celebrity Big Brother’.
The controversial 41-year-old model – who appeared on the reality TV show in 2014 but became the third contestant to get the boot – has reportedly signed a mega-money deal to take part in the forthcoming spin-off ‘All Stars vs Gold Stars’ in January.
A source told The Daily Star newspaper: “This time she is thinking bigger and better,. She wants to make a serious impact on the house so she’s planning all kinds of tricks to wind them up. She knows the key to driving everyone crazy is through a lack of sleep or food so she’ll be sure to lose tacks on purpose and create havoc late at night.”
Although the official line-up for the show, which will see old housemates take on new contestants, is yet to be announced, it’s believed bosses have also snapped up former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ professional James Jordan because they know his inability to hold his sharp tongue will no doubt cause tension and lead to rows in the house.
The insider explained: “Channel 5 approached James with a six figure deal.
“The producers loved how feisty he was when he appeared on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ in 2014 and they know he won’t hold back.”
Outspoken model Jasmine Lennard, who appeared on the show in 2012, is also reportedly in talks with producers to join the all-star special.
A source said previously: “Bringing in big personalities like James and Jasmine makes great TV and there could be a clash between the two of them.”
But James isn’t the only returning contestant to nab a six-figure money deal to join the forthcoming series, as reality TV couple Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, who took part in the series in 2013, have also scribbled a mega-cash contract for the show.
The insider said: “Spencer and Heidi are very competitive and they got so close to winning last time that they’re hell bent on coming out on top this time around.”

Paul Feig casts doubt on Ghostbusters sequel

OHMYGOSSIP — Paul Feig would be “very surprised” if he made another ‘Ghostbusters’ movie.
The 54-year-old director helmed the female-led reboot earlier this year, but has admitted he does not see himself returning to the iconic franchise.
Asked if he will direct another ‘Ghostbusters’ movie, Paul shared: “If the studio was knocking on the door to do another one, I’d have to think about it.
“We had so much fun, and I’d love to work with that team again. But I would be very surprised.”
The ‘Ghostbusters’ movie was poorly received by critics, but Paul has no regrets about making it.
He said: “I’m very proud of the movie. The response that I’ve been getting over the internet has been inspiring.
“Young women in particular have taken to this movie in a way that I hoped would happen.
“They’re being inspired by the science, and inspired by seeing these four strong, smart women on screen, and being funny and being real. They really embraced it.”
He said, though, that the ‘Ghostbusters’ experience has made him more “cautious”.
Paul shared: “It’s not made me less courageous, just more cautious about what I’m going to do next. But I’m always pretty cautious anyway.”
Paul also admitted he was keen to make another big-budget movie, even if he does not return to ‘Ghostbusters’.
He told Den of Geek: “I love making commercial movies. It doesn’t mean I’m looking for another $150m budget. I’d rather not do that, because the stakes are so incredibly high. But making a movie like ‘Spy’, I love that. I love trying to entertain a large audience.”

David Oyelowo says he is reluctant to talk about diversity

OHMYGOSSIP — David Oyelowo is a reluctant “spokesperson for diversity”.
The 40-year-old actor has been openly critical about the lack of diversity in the British movie business, but David has admitted he wishes he did not have to speak about the issue.
He explained: “I am a spokesperson for diversity, reluctantly. Because if I don’t do it, then I am part of the problem. And we do have a problem.
“I recently worked with four female directors in a row and that has been made such a big deal of. No one highlights when an actor works with 15,20,25 male directors in a row.”
The ‘A United Kingdom’ actor said the time has come to stop discussing the issue of diversity and actually make meaningful strides towards tackling the problem.
He told the Metro newspaper: “My refrain is that we need to stop talking about diversity and just start doing diversity. We all have our bias, so the only way to have true diversity is to have more of a mix of people who are decision-makers in order that their natural bias is what is seen.”
David is conscious some people may consider him to be preaching about diversity, but he insisted he is merely explaining his personal experiences.
He shared: “I’m aware there are people who, the minute I open my mouth, are rolling their eyes thinking, ‘Oh, here we go again’. They have the notion that you are calling them racist or whatever. But I am not.
“I am just telling you my experience: it is a struggle to get stories told that reflect the society that we live in.”
Earlier this year, David spoke at the Black Star symposium at the BFI in London and called for more black-oriented historical films, saying it would help Britain to understand “how it became what it is”.
He explained: “People of colour have been expunged from Britain’s history. One of the best ways to illustrate how integrated we are historically is to have a piece of entertainment that people can also learn from while they are watching it.
“That is why I am hellbent on period drama: we need the context so we can build, and then go on to grow.”

Nick Hewer in Apprentice claims

OHMYGOSSIP — Nick Hewer has claimed ‘The Apprentice’ bosses have previously tried to influence when a contestant is fired based on their hair colour.
The 72-year-old TV presenter – who was an adviser to boss Lord Alan Sugar on the show for 10 years – has recalled producers once wanted a blonde candidate to remain in the process, but the businessman insisted he would fire them when he saw fit.
He told The Sun newspaper: “I say to him, ‘Oh, by the way Alan, the blonde: he or she is as thick as a fridge door, and I urge you with every fibre of your being, get rid of them, because they’re going to let you down.
“And the producers will say, ‘Do you think you could find it in your heart to not get rid of the blonde just yet?’
“He will say, ‘The blonde will go when the blonde deserves to go.’ ”
Nick has also claimed show bosses used to choose candidates for the programme based on their looks.
He said: “There was a time when all the young ladies who came on wore black pencil skirts and very high heels, with their hair done up in a chignon.
“If you’ve got 16 in an hour, you think, ‘What are their names?’
“I suspect that the producers go for different looks or people that can be differentiated visually – that would make sense, wouldn’t it? But again, you need the characters don’t you?”
The ‘Countdown’ host insisted a vital part of the application process is to put something “outrageous” on your CV, and revealed the BBC won’t allow a spin-off series about the winner to be made because it could look as though they were promoting Lord Sugar’s businesses.
However, an ‘Apprentice’ spokeswoman has insisted Lord Sugar decides who gets fired and it is “not true” that candidates are chosen because of their looks or “single lines on their CV”.
They said: “All firing decisions throughout ‘The Apprentice’ are down to Lord Sugar’s own judgement, and solely based on his opinion about who he believes should be fired after every task.
“‘The Apprentice’ is a serious business reality series; the winner will be in partnership with Lord Sugar and therefore needs to have the relevant credentials.
“References are checked for business and education credentials and a business consultant is involved at audition stages. In addition to this, Lord Sugar sees the CVs during final selection process. To say that candidates are chosen purely for their looks or single lines on their CV is not true.”
Nick was replaced on the show by Claude Littner in 2015, while Karren Brady took over from Margaret Mountford as Lord Sugar’s other aide in 2010.
