Rita Simons and Samantha Womack's 'emotional' EastEnders exit

OHMYGOSSIP — Rita Simons and Samantha Womack cried over their ‘EastEnders’ exit.
The soap stars, who play siblings Roxy and Ronnie Mitchell in the BBC One soap, were overwhelmed with emotion filming their final scenes after nine years in Albert Square, and had to take it in turns to support each other.
On their final days on set, Rita (Roxy) said: “She’d have a day where she couldn’t stop crying and I would be really cold and strong and I would look after her. Then the next day it would be me who’d be set off by a packet of coffee or whatever and she would be strong.
“We’ve taken it in turns to be upset because one of us needs to be strong for the other.”
Rita, 39, and Samantha, 44, spent their final few days as co-stars indulging in retail therapy and after their “emotionally” draining final filming session they downed gin and were left with “mixed emotions” about leaving.
Rita, who joined the show in 2007, told The Sun newspaper: “It was tiring. Emotionally tiring. I finished on Wednesday night. We were on location and then I came home on Thursday.
“Me and Sam spent a lovely two days, when we weren’t filming, we sat in bed together, we had breakfast together, we went shopping around Woodstock. We were like a couple of old ladies. Then we went and did our final scenes, got back into bed, had a couple of gins, and it was such mixed emotions.
“I can only explain it as the most exhilarating and upsetting experience – it kind of goes hand in hand.”
And, although Rita is looking forward to whatever she takes on next, she admits it was heartbreaking leaving behind the crew members she has worked with for several years.
She said: “I’m so exhilarated to be moving on and doing other stuff, but I left probably 150 crew that I adore – every single one of them, make-up, lighting, costume. I love them all, I’ve known them all for 10 years, day in, day out.
“It was that that kind of broke my heart, leaving them.”
Ronnie (Samantha) and Roxy (Rita) are set to meet their “grisly end” in a swimming pool at New Year, but that doesn’t mean they won’t work together in the future.
Rita said: “I can’t imagine life without her. She’s my sister. I talk about her like she’s my sister. She’s one of my best friends and she will be until the end now, whether she likes it or not.
“But I do have a feeling we will work together again. I don’t know when or where but my feelings are generally right, so yeah I’m sure that’s going to happen.”

Dev Patel took on Lion role for his mother

OHMYGOSSIP — Dev Patel took on his role in ‘Lion’ for his mother.
The 26-year-old actor stars as Saroo Brierley in the real life drama, a young Indian boy who is separated from his brother and mother when he ends up 1,000 miles away from his home in a Calcutta train station, and has now opened up about how his relationship with his mum influenced him to take on part.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Dev said: “The greatest influence in my life is my own mother, you know, that’s how I got into acting. So when I read this [script] I knew that I was going to do this film for her. Because at it’s core, it’s about love and it’s about mothers and sons.”
The story of Saroo – who is adopted in the movie by Sue Brierley, played by Nicole Kidman – was so close to Dev’s heart that he even turned up to make his interest known before the script had been finished.
Director Garth Davis said: “Dev got wind of this story very early on. We were still writing. He pulls up at Luke’s house in his car and walks in like ‘Hi, I’m Dev!’
“He was already passionate about this story and wanted to put his hand up. He came for his screen test which was four and a half hours, and he won it fair and square. His performance was beyond.”
Meanwhile, Dev recently said he spent “eight months” preparing himself for the role of Saroo, as the “stillness” of his character wasn’t something he was used to.
He said: “It required an energy shift. I’m a super-hyperactive kind of dude and the role required a level of stillness.
“Saroo had this emotional pain, this weight.
“I spent eight months prepping and it was all a process of introspection.
“I travelled around India on trains to get a feel of what it would be like, I wrote diaries, I visited orphanages.
“Garth would get me to stare in the mirror for an hour.
“It’s amazing what you can see when you stop for a moment and really try to look inside yourself.”

Emma Stone relates to La La Land character's feelings of rejection

OHMYGOSSIP — Emma Stone can relate to her ‘La La Land’ character’s experience of “rejection”.
The 27-year-old actress plays the part of Mia, an aspiring actress and playwright, in the Damien Chapelle-directed movie – alongside Ryan Gosling – and can relate to the devastating experience of being turned down for movie roles in auditions.
In an interview with Backstage magazine, she said: “Obviously, I relate to Mia in quite a few ways. Auditioning, that kind of rejection, I went through three years of that – not six (like Mia), but I knew that world and what that felt like.”
The ‘Crazy, Stupid Love’ star doesn’t understand why filmmakers choose auditioning to pick their cast because she feels once you start shooting a film it’s a very “different” job.
She added: “Auditioning is the difference between being a good test-taker and being a good student. You could be a great student who, under pressure, is gonna fail on the test. I don’t know how people can (cast) from auditions – it feels so different once you’re actually on a set than it did in the audition.”
The flame-haired beauty previously admitted she relished the role because she felt able to identify with her on-screen character.
She said: “I definitely understood the feeling of moving to Los Angeles and having a dream to be an actor in films and to get to be a part of things that I loved and inspire people in some way.
“It’s pretty insane that we’re talking about this movie and it’s something that I’m so proud and excited to be a part of, when that is the goal of the character, is to be a part of something like this.”

Lacey Turner to get married next year

OHMYGOSSIP — Lacey Turner is planning to get married next year.
The ‘EastEnders’ star – who is known for playing Stacey Slater in the long-running soap – got engaged to her childhood sweetheart Matt Kay in Venice in September and, although she’s in no rush to the tie knot, she’d like to head down the aisle before the end of 2017.
She explained: “It will hopefully happen next year. We’re trying to keep it quite small but it’s hard as Matt’s got a huge family. We do have the same group of friends, which helps, but we’re still talking about 100 people, which sounds so scary. I’m not really someone who likes to be in the limelight! We’re not having a church wedding as neither of us are religious. I haven’t done much planning yet.”
Matt got down on one knee with a temporarily jewel because he wanted the brunette beauty to choose her own ring and is thrilled she chose to incorporate his mother’s pear-shaped diamond.
She said: “The ring is a combination of about five rings I saw and there’s a lot of sentimental value to it as my best friend’s brother is a jeweller in Hatton Garden and he made it for me.”
Matt added to OK! magazine: “The pear-shaped diamond belonged to my mum and she’s had it for 30-odd years. It was her engagement ring.”
Lacey explained: “His mum and dad have been together donkey’s years so I feel like it’s good luck. When we put a picture on Instagram of us [which showed the stand-in ring Matt proposed with], everyone was commenting: ‘Look at that rock!’ I thought, ‘It’s not real!’ ”
And, although she hasn’t put much thought into her big day, the 28-year-old actress has already decided that she’ll take on Matt’s surname once they’ve got hitched.
She said: “I think it’s a nice thing to do. I’ll probably keep my name for work because it’s easier.”

Paul Sullivan is fired from The Apprentice

OHMYGOSSIP — Paul Sullivan has been fired from ‘The Apprentice’.
The 38-year-old marketing agency owner has become the latest contestant to be given the boot from the competition by Lord Sugar – and miss out on the £250,000 prize money – after he failed to lead his team Nebula to success in an event organising task.
The hunk was chosen to be project manager of his team by the business tycoon and, after a discussion, he opted for Jessica Cunningham to be his sub team leader.
The group got off to a good start as they were dished out their location of Madame Tussauds in London and were told to put on a snazzy event with food and drink.
Nebula decided to run a casino night with canapés and a glass of bubbly upon arrival, but their group started to crumble after the pricing strategy for tickets flopped almost straight away and Jessica, Sofiane Khelfa and Trishna Thakrar sold at different prices.
The other team – Titans – was lead by Dillon St Paul and his sub team leader was Grainne McCoy and, although they stuck to their price of £55 for tickets, they found themselves in hot water when there was confusion over the entertainment being put on.
Grainne and her partner Courtney Wood had told potential buyers that they were putting on a Deep Sea Show, which would see a mermaid holding her breath for at least a minute or so and dancing under water, at the London Aquarium, but it was later realised that there was no water antics and all entertainment was on the floor.
Due to Nebula’s mess of the tickets, Paul and his partner Frances Bishop agreed to slash the budget on the canapés and serve up cream cheese with cucumber and tomato and basil on crackers to their guests to try and increase their profit.
He then decided to relegate Frances to sub team leader and take the title away from Jessica as he believed the children’s clothing company owner would do a better job.
Titans, on the other hand, exceeded the amount of paying customers and ended up making 400 complimentary canapés and, in turn, only sold one piece of hot food.
Although Nebula thought their lack of food would encourage guests to dig in their pockets and buy the burgers they had for sale on the hot stands, they actually ended up losing almost £200 because Jessica had initially told 35 guests that hot food was included.
Once Paul got wind of the situation, he confronted Jessica but, rather than pull her to one side, he started screeching at her in front of their customers.
However, the brunette beauty managed to rectify the situation by putting on an impressive guided tour with Trishna, while Courtney – from Titans – put on a lacklustre performance when he showed people around the aquarium.
Once in the boardroom, Titans were thrilled to learn they’d won the task by over £1,000, while Nebula squabbled over who was to blame for their failed event.
Paul opted to bring back Jessica and Frances into the boardroom but let himself down by losing his temper and, in turn, began raising his voice at Lord Sugar.
Both girls broke down in tears as they pleaded their case and the tycoon immediately pointed his finger at Paul and told him he was fired.
He said: “Paul, I think that you made a very, very big error in the pricing strategy, and you can’t lose your rag every single time something goes wrong, and you did lose your rag on this task in representing me in front of customers.”

Keith Lemon reunites with Paddy McGuinness for new show

OHMYGOSSIP — Paddy McGuinness and Keith Lemon have joined forces for a new pilot sketch show.
The ‘Take Me Out’ presenter and the ‘Celebrity Juice’ host have teamed up for the ‘The Keith And Paddy Picture Show’, which will be aired on ITV in 2017, as they attempt to recreate iconic films with the help of an all-star celebrity cast.
Expressing his excitement for their latest venture, Keith – whose real name Leigh Francis – said: “I’m so super excited to be working with one of my best pals Paddy McGuinness. Paddy and I spoke about doing this years ago, and the dream is finally becoming a reality. I’ve stopped eating bread, to make it easier for Paddy to do ‘the lift’ when we recreate ‘Dirty Dancing’. I’m also excited to be eaten by a shark and be punched in’t face by the Italian Stallion that is actually from Bolton.”
Each half-hour episode will be a combination of high-end film parodies and behind-the-scene footage as the duo attempt to bring their recreations alive.
Paddy explained: “Keith and I have been mates for a long time. We’re both self-confessed movie nuts so paying tribute to some of the most iconic movies scenes of all time is going to be a lot of fun! I’ve told him he’ll have to play most of the female roles though – he’s got long hair and it’ll save us a few quid on wigs!”
And, although the show is yet to hit screens, bosses at the production company Talkback are convinced it will be a huge success with the audience.
Leon Wilson, from production company Talkback, said: “Leigh Francis and Paddy McGuinness are a brilliant comic double act, and Talkback are delighted to have them both on board. Recreating well-known, iconic movies, this part scripted comedy; part moc-doc will have something in it for everyone and is a chance for Keith and Paddy to share their love of film with the Saturday night ITV audience.”

Kristina Rihanoff baby daughter was 'accident'

OHMYGOSSIP — Kristina Rihanoff’s baby daughter was an “accident.”
The former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ professional gave birth to her little girl Milena five months ago but has admitted, although she and Ben Cohen had been dating for over a year and knew they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together, she wasn’t planning to get pregnant so quickly but wouldn’t change her child for the world.
Speaking on the ITV breakfast show ‘Lorraine’ on Thursday (24.11.16), she said: “It was a accidental pregnancy. He [Ben] is lovely with her.”
The 39-year-old dancer and the retired rugby player’s relationship has been heavily criticised after they met when they were partnered together on the ballroom and latin show in 2013 and began dating shortly after he divorced Abby Blayney in 2014.
It was initially claimed the pair were having an affair on the programme but both have denied the reports and insist they only got together once Ben had ended it with his childhood sweetheart, whom he has eight-year-old twin girls Harriette and Isabelle.
And, although the rumours got to her at the beginning of their relationship, Kristina has learnt to ignore the cruel comments because she’s got a baby to focus on.
She explained: “I think when you have true feelings for each other you know it was meant to be… when you have a little one, it changes your prospective in life.”
Ben and Abby – who were married for 13 years after meeting at school – ended on bitter terms but that hasn’t stopped his daughters getting along with Milena.
She said: “They get on so well. We all went on a fantastic holiday to Dubai together, and Ben’s twins Harriette and Isabelle] are great with Milena.”

Naomie Harris: I was unsure about playing a crack addict

OHMYGOSSIP — Naomie Harris had reservations about playing a crack addict in ‘Moonlight’.
The 40-year-old actress stars as an emotionally abusive mother in the critically-acclaimed drama movie, in which director Barry Jenkins afforded her the opportunity to challenge a stereotype.
Naomie explained: “I had real reservations about playing a crack addict because I’ve always fought against playing any kind of stereotypical roles.
“I’m very careful about the reputation of women, and as a black woman in particular I want to represent progressive roles for women and black people in general.
“Then I spoke to Barry and he said, ‘I don’t want you to play a stereotype. What I’m asking you to play is basically my mum.’ Because this is his story and the story of the writer Tarell [McCraney], and what happened to their mothers – it’s a very similar journey – deeply connected with me.”
Naomie revealed she adopted an unusual approach to playing the role of Paula.
She told Screen Daily: “I would sit in the hotel room imagining I was being interviewed by someone. So I imagined the person was asking me, ‘What was your dad like? What was your mum like? Where did you grow up?’ and all these questions.
“Then I created a whole narrative around that and that helped me define the character’s voice.”
Naomie is best known for playing Eve Moneypenny in the James Bond franchise and revealed how she balanced filming ‘Moonlight’ and her promotional responsibilities for ‘Spectre’, the most-recent Bond movie.
She said: “I shot the movie in three days in Miami.
“We jumped around. I went from older Paula in rehab to Paula deep into addiction in the middle section to Paula hiding her addiction and seemingly holding it all together in one day. And then back again. To say it was challenging is a real understatement.”

Ore Oduba has phobia of birds

OHMYGOSSIP — Ore Oduba broke out into a sweat on ‘This Morning’ on Thursday (24.11.16) after a parrot perched on his arm.
The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ star – who was presenting the brunchtime show with Holly Willoughby – was on a mission to cure his “severe” phobia of birds with the help of the show’s therapists Eva and Nik Speakman but, despite his cool appearance, he struggled to control his breathing after the beautiful feathered animal named Indie stepped on to his shoulder and gazed into his eyes.
Speaking before the bird walked on to him, he said: “This is a fear of birds I’ve had for as long as I can remember. We (him and the Speakmans) chatted last night before we met this morning just about the early memories and I have no original source. Friends are always asking me, ‘When was the first time?’ I have no idea, I have dreams, I have moments, but I can’t rationalise it. It’s surprising severe.”
Eva and Nik – known collectively as The Speakmans – started the live therapy session by having the bird stand on her trainer Steve’s arm next to Ore while they discussed his fear of birds.
Ore said: “This is the closest me and Indie have ever been. I’m feeling OK because I know Steve is there and I will probably just stroke her. I’m doing it for me. I’m fine. I do want to be cured.”
The Speakmans then said the next step in the path to curing his fear is by having the bed sit on him.
Ore said as he stood up: “This is crippling. I really want to get over this.”
After a few minutes of some problematic parrot perching, the 30-year-old presenter begged Steve to take Indie back because he was really struggling to keep his anxiety under control.
He said through gritted teeth: “Steve, do you mind if you take Indie back for just a minute.”
Once Indie was taken away, Ore was given a moment to reflect on his journey.
As he clutched Holly’s chair, he said: “Can we put the heart monitor on right now. My heart is racing. She is lovely, a beautiful bird and I can appreciate that but when she put her claws on my arm, I’ve never done that before. She clutched on to me and she was really close. It didn’t hurt.”

Danny Boyle plagued by Trainspotting's Sick Boy and Renton

OHMYGOSSIP — Danny Boyle says ‘Trainspotting’ characters Sick Boy, Renton, Spud and Begbie have never been far from his mind since 1996.
The Oscar-winning director decided to make the sequel to the classic British title because fans have hounded him for updates on the Scottish friends and he felt the presence of the characters whenever he was around actors Jonny Lee Miller, Ewan McGregor, Ewen Bremner and Robert Carlyle.
He said: “Everybody needed updating … It’s weird. People come up to you in the street and talk to you about Sick Boy or Renton. And it’s like, when was the last film where you remembered the character names? You don’t, you might remember one name of someone from a film. But four or more of the character names?
“So a lot of the reason for doing ‘Trainspotting 2’ was that. People still feel the characters, in a way, and I did. I’d see the actors in other things and I’d get a feeling for this.”
Boyle also teased that the characters won’t fall into the traps of middle age life in ‘Trainspotting 2’ but will retain the spark of their youth.
He explained: “The French don’t have an expression for middle age. For them, you go from the old age of youth into the youth of old age. And that’s sort of what this is like.”
Meanwhile, Danny is adamant that the original movie wasn’t an addiction story but was in fact a tale of friendship.
He told Shortlist magazine: “I always though the first film was about friendship. Everyone said it was about drugs, but I didn’t. And this film is the same, in a way.”

Louie Spence hit 'rock bottom' with depression

OHMYGOSSIP — Louie Spence’s battle with depression “hit rock bottom” two years ago.
The eccentric choreographer may be known for his flamboyant happy-go-lucky approach to life but he has admitted his life hasn’t always been an easy ride as he was forced to seek help for his negative thoughts and frantic mind 24 months ago.
Speaking on ‘Lorraine’ on Thursday (24.11.16), he said: “I’m not shy by any means, but I have always suffered from anxiety from when I was a child. My anxiety became uncontrollable, it controlled every moment of my life. It turned to depression.
“I hit rock bottom, I couldn’t cope any longer. It’s beaten me trying to deal with it. My life isn’t always like that (bubbly). People presume I’m always like that (happy).”
The 47-year-old dancer has tried cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), hypnotherapy and therapists in the past but now relies on medication to keep his emotions in check.
He explained: “I went and got help. I waited 45 years… it was the best thing I’ve ever done! Part of therapy for me is I need to entertain, it’s a relief.”
Louie recently took part in training for a 146km endurance ride through the Alps – the highest and most extensive mountain range system that lies entirely in Europe – alongside Lucy Mecklenburgh, Hugo Taylor and Jodie Kidd for ‘Celebs de Tour’.
He has admitted the three-month training session, which was carried out by Olympic gold-winning cyclist Victoria Pendleton, was so draining – both physically and mentally – and, at one point, he was convinced he was drop dead at any moment.
He said: “There was a point I thought that I was gonna die.”

Charlotte Crosby tells men she wets herself on first date

OHMYGOSSIP — Charlotte Crosby likes to tell her dates she wets herself during their first meeting.
The former ‘Geordie Shore’ star – who was known for her wild antics on the MTV show – doesn’t hold back when she meets new potential lovers and will happily inform them she struggles to control her bladder when she’s knocked back booze.
Speaking to the Metro newspaper, she said: “I’m the person who does the bad things on a date. I once told someone that I’d p***** the bed. And I told them that I regularly wet the bed. They said “It’s fine, I do it too.” So you could say we had loads in common and we actually went on a second date.”
The 26-year-old beauty – whose previous lovers include Gary ‘Gaz’ Beadle and Max Morley – also isn’t afraid to drop the word ‘love’ into a conversation early on.
She explained: “I don’t think you can put a time limit on it. If they declare it after a date, that would be ridiculous, but after a month? I don’t think that’s bad. Because if you’ve spent enough time with someone and you really click, you could love them. My mum says she knew she loved my dad at first sight and they’re still together now.”
And sex on the first date is something Charlotte thinks is perfectly acceptable.
She said: “It depends on the bloke. In some of my past relationships, we had sex on the first night and we were together for a year and a half. I don’t think it’s that bad – people build up this massive cloud about it. Don’t be stupid about it and go and sleep with someone you don’t know. But if you’ve been talking for weeks before you go out for your first meal, that builds to knowing each other well and isn’t to be frowned upon. But doing it with a stranger – that could be dangerous.”
Although Charlotte is fairly relaxed when it comes to a first date, she thinks a guy should always pay for the meal otherwise it’s a huge turn off for her.
She said: “You’re trying to impress! So if she says, “Let’s go Dutch”, say “No, I’ve got it!” or pay the bill before she knows. When men say, “I’ve already got the bill, that’s so impressive!”

Dan Clark's ex-girlfriend claims he threatened her with acid

OHMYGOSSIP — Dan Clark’s ex-girlfriend has claimed he threatened to throw acid in her face if she cheated on him.
The ‘Geordie Shore’ newbie started dating Lucy Noble in September 2015, but things came crashing down after he allegedly fired off an abusive text suggesting he’d ruin her life is she was unfaithful.
In text messages, obtained by the Daily Mirror newspaper, Dan said: “You dare get with any lad and I’ll kill them and you’ll get some acid thrown in your face sl***. (sic)”
Lucy then replied: “I’ll show my dad all these messages you vile piece of s**t. You cheated on me. (sic)”
Dan, 23 – who is one of the latest cast members to join the MTV programme – has strongly denied sending the message, and also insisted that he ended their relationship.
But Lucy has stood by her allegations and told the publication: “I found out three weeks ago and was left gutted and dumped him.”
The brunette beauty said she was shaken by Dan’s text, having seen the horrors of acid attacks in the news.
She explained: “I’ve seen the horror stories in the newspapers of victims.”
Lucy also claimed that their relationship began to fall apart when Dan started texting friends about messaging other women behind her back prior to him being unfaithful.
Lucy said: “I was suspicious when we went on holiday to Lanzarote in June and went through his phone.
“I confronted him and I’d never seen a guy cry so much, he begged me to stay with him, so I gave him another chance.”
Lucy said that Dan’s appearance on ‘Geordie Shore’ will show people what he is really like.
She explained: “I don’t even think he’ll do that well on it and I want everyone to know what he’s really like.
“He goes around saying he’s the fittest guy in the north east, he’s not.”

Stephanie Davis to listen to grandad's favourite band during labour

OHMYGOSSIP — Stephanie Davis wants to listen to her late grandfather’s favourite band when she’s in labour.
The 23-year-old actress may have over two months left until she’s expected to welcome her first child – a baby boy she has with her ex-boyfriend Jeremy McConnell – into the world, but she’s already started thinking about her birth and has decided she wants the Irish musical duo Foster and Allen playing in the background while she’s working through her contractions.
Writing in her blog for OK! Online, she said: “I’m putting my bag together this week and having it by the door ready for when I go into labour. So far I have the choice of about 10 outfits for him to come home in as they’re all so cute! A friend has also advised me to pack lip balm as apparently the gas and air can really dry your lips out. I will obviously be packing all the other essentials a newborn baby and new mum need. I’ll also be packing some music to keep me calm in labour in the form of Foster and Allen. They were a favourite of my granddad’s. I went to see them this week with my mum, nan, uncle and my auntie and they played all my granddad’s favourite songs – the baby was loving it! Their songs keep me in a good mood and happy so it stays positive and calm.”
Stephanie sadly lost her grandfather Albert Mulvaney last October – three months before she entered the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house in January – but is determined to have his memory live on and has decided her baby boy’s name will include Albi – a nickname of Albert.
She said earlier this year: “I definitely think I’ll call him Albi after my granddad. I’d like his middle name to be Patrick. It’s my brother’s middle name and it’s also Irish.”
Stephanie has been battling with acute sickness since she found out she was pregnant in May and is now planning to take some time off before Christmas to focus on herself and her baby.
She explained: “I’ve decided I’m going to take myself off on maternity leave soon, hopefully some time in the next few weeks. I have a lot to do still before the baby arrives but I’ve promised myself I’m going to start taking it easy. I’m not too sure how much time I will take off once he gets here but luckily I’ll be able to keep him with me wherever I go. My mum will be with me too.”

Jennifer Lawrence says Chris Pratt is the hardest-working person she's met

OHMYGOSSIP — Jennifer Lawrence thinks Chris Pratt is the “hardest-working person” she’s ever met.
The Oscar-winning actress appears alongside the 37-year-old star in the new romantic sci-fi movie ‘Passengers’, and Jennifer is full of praise for her on-screen co-star.
She shared: “Chris Pratt is the hardest-working person I’ve ever met in my life.”
Jennifer, 26, also appears on screen with the likes of Michael Sheen, Laurence Fishburne and Andy Garcia in the much-anticipated new movie, and she has revealed how much she relished the production process.
She told ET Canada: “It was a beautiful experience, because we all were so passionate about it.”
The new movie centres on the story of two spaceship passengers who are on a 120-year journey to another planet when they are woken 90 years too early.
Jennifer explained: “It becomes very clear that there’s something really wrong with the ship, and gravity starts to go out, and the robots are all failing.
“Jim and I are in a race against the clock to figure out what is wrong with the ship, and how we can fix it – not just to save our lives, but the lives of the 5,000 people who are on the ship.”
Meanwhile, Jennifer recently revealed that she “works very hard” to keep her life private.
The Hollywood actress said she likes to keep out of the spotlight as much as possible, despite being one of the most recognisable women in the world.
She explained: “You might think you know me, but when you approach me you’re a total stranger to me and I’m scared. [I get] very protective of my space. It took me a long time to be able to do that.
“If I’m eating dinner and somebody comes up and a flash goes off from someone’s iPhone camera, I am really rude to that person. Then other people at the restaurant will see and be like, ‘Oh, damn, I don’t want to do that.’ Privacy is a full-time job and I work very hard at it.”
