Craig Revel Horwood thinks Ed Balls will be in Strictly final

OHMYGOSSIP — Craig Revel Horwood expects Ed Balls to be in the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ final.
The choreographer may have given the former MP and his professional partner Katya Jones low scores throughout the competition, but he understands his appeal to the public, though he is still unsure whether the audience will vote for entertainment or genuine talent when it comes to the famous glitterball trophy next month.
He said: “Ed isn’t the most graceful but he is just fantastic.
“The pressure is on him now because everyone can’t wait to see what he does next, but he’s so popular with the public that he could make the final.
“I just can’t call whether the audience will vote for someone amusing or endearing or a deal dance talent.”
The judge isn’t the only person impressed by Ed as ‘Great British Bake Off’ star Mary Berry told him she is also a fan after attending the live show recently.
He said: “Mary is a huge fan of the show so it was fabulous to have her come down and watch it live.
“I took her for a spin around the dance floor, even though she admitted she was a bit nervous about it.
“And she even told me she’s got a soft spot for Ed.”
While Craig thinks show favourite Danny Mac is the “perfect package”, he thinks he needs to do more to show the skills of his professional partner Oti Mabuse.
He said: “Danny is feeling confident and rightly so – he’s the perfect package!
“But he needs to rein it in a bit sometimes and make sure he shows off his partner too.”
And Craig is also impressed with the progress Louise Redknapp has made with her partner Kevin Clifton.
He said in his column for Woman magazine: “They’re all such a talented bunch now but I’m so impressed with how Louise’s confidence has grown over the series.
“She’s totally blossomed and I love it.”

Danny Baker eliminated from I'm A Celeb

OHMYGOSSIP — Danny Baker has been eliminated from ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’
The 59-year-old broadcaster has become the first contestant to leave the show this series, after losing out to Lisa Snowdon, Scarlett Carol Vorderman, Larry Lamb, Jordan Banjo, Martin Roberts, Danny Baker and Joel Dommett in Friday’s (25.11.16) vote.
Ola Jordan and Sam Quek won immunity after beating Martin and Danny in an earlier task.
Danny previously admitted that he begged ‘I’m A Celebrity’ bosses to let him join this year’s show.
The radio DJ actually reached out to producers of the show earlier this year as taking part in the creepy-crawly programme has been a “lifelong ambition” of his and he felt this was the perfect time as he has just won a six-year battle with throat and mouth cancer.
He said: “I’m one of the few people who actually asked. The only show I’ve ever wanted to do is this. It’s like being asked to do a West End musical.
“This is, in modern TV, as good as it gets. They fly you around the world, put you in a hotel with a beach, then you play gamed in the jungle.”
The comedian – who was diagnosed with cancer in 2010 – would have slipped into his jungle gear and headed into the Australian outback earlier if his health had permitted.
He explained: “The reason I couldn’t do the jungle last time is, for a few years, I couldn’t eat properly and it only passed 18 months ago. They put this hole in my chest where I had to feed through it … I didn’t learn a damn thing from being at deaths’ door for eight months. I would have done this 10 years ago, five years ago. There is no ambition involved other than I’m here by the skin of my teeth.”
Danny also revealed he is planning to step away from his Radio 5 Live Show and move to Florida when he turns 60 in June.
He said: “I’m not Bowie, I’m not Sinatra. It’s just I don’t want to do any more TV or radio after June, when I’m 60. I don’t want to do much. But I may as well write. That’s easy to do sitting on the edge of the ocean.”

Lewis Bloor and Marnie Simpson split?

OHMYGOSSIP — Lewis Bloor and Marnie Simpson have reportedly split.
The pair started dating four months ago, after they struck up a romance in the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house but it appears that they romance is on the rocks after Lewis unfollowed Marnie on Twitter.
The Sun Online reports that Marnie has been spotted getting cosy with her ex-boyfriend Aaron Chalmers while filming the latest season of ‘Geordie Shore’.
A source told the publication: “Marnie was getting very flirty with Aaron.
“There wasn’t anything more to it but it seemed she wanted to get a reaction out of him… at one point she even started grinding against him.”
And Lewis appeared to hint that all is not well, tweeting: “Never been so frustrated in all my life.
“Time for a big run to clear my head.”
Before Marnie started shooting the latest series of the MTV reality TV show, Lewis admitted he had laid down some ground rules as he didn’t want her getting into a fight with her on/off ex-boyfriend Aaron on camera because it could destroy their relationship.
He said: “There are certain things I wouldn’t be happy with her doing, like getting into an argument with Aaron. Marnie doesn’t care about him so nothing he says should wind her up. Marnie can be very flirty when she’s drunk so I hope she won’t be doing that now she’s in a relationship.”

Dan Clark banned from Geordie shore filming

OHMYGOSSIP — Dan Clark has reportedly been temporarily axed from ‘Geordie Shore’.
The 23-year-old reality TV star – who has only just joined the boozy MTV show – was removed from filming the current series on Thursday (24.11.16) and told not to join the rest of the cast at the after-party in Newcastle that evening after his ex-girlfriend Lucy Noble claimed he threatened to throw acid in her acid if she cheated on him, according to the The Sun Online.
The pair – who first began dating in September in 2015 – were in a relationship for over a year and even moved in together, but split up after Lucy suspected he was cheating on her.
During a holiday in Lanzarote in June this year, the brunette beauty reportedly found text messages on Dan’s phone in which he was boasting to his friends about texting other women.
However, when she confronted the hunk about his infidelity, the pair ended up in a bitter feud and he allegedly told her he’d destroy her face if she ever got with another guy behind his back.
The text, which were obtained by the Daily Mirror newspaper, said: “You dare get with any lad and I’ll kill them and you’ll get some acid thrown in your face sl***. (sic)”
Lucy then replied: “I’ll show my dad all these messages you vile piece of s**t. You cheated on me. (sic)”
Since the texts emerged, the new television star has strongly denied the accusations, although his ex has stood by her claims and has admitted she’s still “shaken” by his alleged threat.
And before his recent absence from the filming, Lucy said she didn’t think her former flame would do well on the show and believed people would eventually see him for what he really is.
She said: “I don’t even think he’ll do that well on it and I want everyone to know what he’s really like. He goes around saying he’s the fittest guy in the North East, he’s not.”

Politicians are worst performing on Strictly

OHMYGOSSIP — Politicians are statistically the worst performing contestants on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
Ed Balls may be creeping closer to the ballroom and latin final after winning over the nation with his energetic routines over the past two months, but the odds of him being crowned the champion aren’t in his favour as research carried out by Voucherbox.co.uk has found that members of parliament are typically not the best movers on the show.
The study – which looked into the programme’s 12-year history – found the politicians average at a dismal 10th place in the competition after Ann Widdecombe – who took part in the show 2010 – and Edwina Currie, who competed in 2011, failed to impress.
While former MPs struggle with the fancy footwork, the statistics show that singers and musicians usually come out on top, achieving three overall victories since 2004.
However, it seems the show isn’t following suit this year as Louise Redknapp – who was part of Eternal – is struggling to gain the judges’ approval this time around.
Comedians, radio presenters and film stars are amongst the careers to have never claimed the famous glitterball trophy, while Alesha Dixon became the most successful singer in the show’s history after she won in 2007 and went on to join the judging panel – replacing choreographer Arlene Phillips – for three series two years later.
Shane Forster, Voucherbox UK Country Manager said: “It is very intriguing to see that there are clear patterns in this research in terms of who is likely to be successful in this and future series. History would suggest former pop star Louise Redknapp is favourite, but with Ed Balls defying the odds each week, it could be considered anyone’s game. I would not like to cha-cha-choose this year’s winner!”

Honey G plans live mannequin challenge with X Factor judges

OHMYGOSSIP — Honey G is set to take part in a live mannequin challenge on ‘The X Factor’ this weekend.
The controversial rapper – who found herself in the bottom two sing-off last weekend in the singing competition with Ryan Lawrie before being saved by judges – is determined to pull out all the stops to make it through the semi finals and has decided to take part in the latest social media craze, which sees people freeze in different positions, during her performance.
And in the hope of making the challenge the highlight of Saturday night’s (26.11.16) show, Honey has persuaded her mentor Sharon Osbourne and judges Simon Cowell, Nicole Scherzinger and Louis Walsh to join in with the the stint, which will be performed as part of the rapper’s set.
A source told the Sun newspaper: “She came up with the amazing idea of doing a ‘Mannequin Challenge’ live on the show and getting all the judges involved. It’s a big risk in front of millions of viewers as it could all go horribly wrong, but if she pulls it off it will be huge.”
And Honey G is hoping the risk won’t put her back in the bottom two as she will be in usual competition with her fellow contestants Saraa Aalto – also mentored by Sharon – as well as ‘Five After Midnight’, Emily Middlemas and current favourite Matt Terry, who will be performing their chosen songs from the selection of the ‘Louis Loves’ theme.

Jon Clark was rushed to hospital

OHMYGOSSIP — Jon Clark was rushed to hospital on Thursday (24.11.16).
The ‘Only Way is Essex’ hunk was taken to accident and emergency on a stretcher after he slipped and smashed his head on the rink while ice skating with his co-stars at Riverside Ice Skating Rink in Chelmsford, Essex, for the Christmas special.
The 26-year-old hunk was spotted tripping on his blades numerous times throughout the afternoon before his final blow lead to him receiving gas and air on the rink side.
Jon was discharged from hospital that same day after he was checked over by the doctors and is now recovering at home, but is suffering with excruciating back pain.
However, despite the painful injury, he managed to take the whole hospital experience in his stride and took to his Twitter account afterwards to joke about the accident.
He explained: “What a day I’ve had… been stretchered to A&E nearly got fingered by a doctor and lost my Louboutins somewhere all in the name of Towie (sic).”
He later followed it up with the comment: “Doctor in A&E just tried to put his finger in my a**!! mate I’m having a bad enough day as it is…. ffs . (sic)”
Although Jon didn’t quite manage to stay on his feet on the ice, his fellow female co-stars seemed to have no trouble whizzing around the rink and Lydia Bright, Courtney Green and Chloe Meadows even managed to document it on their Snapchat accounts.
The ‘Only Way is Essex’ festive special is set to hit screens next month.

Clint Eastwood 'treats his actors like horses'

OHMYGOSSIP — Tom Hanks thinks Clint Eastwood “treats his actors like horses”.
The award-winning actor stars in the director’s biographical drama film ‘Sully’, and has opened up about the experience of working with the Hollywood icon, likening his directorial style to wrangling animals.
Tom said: “You certainly don’t want one of those Eastwood looks.
“He treats his actors like horses because when he did the 60s series Rawhide, the director would shout ‘Action!’ and all the horses bolted. So when he’s in charge, he says in a really quiet soft voice, ‘All right, go ahead,’ and instead of shouting ‘Cut!’ he says ‘That’s enough of that.’ It’s intimidating as hell!”
Tom’s on-screen character, Chesley ‘Sully’ Sullenberger, landed an endangered plane in New York City’s Hudson River in 2009, and the actor admitted his presence was strongly felt on set.
He told the ‘Graham Norton Show’: “Sully was very particular about how we portrayed the procedure and the emotions.
“He pulled out this dog-eared, stapled and notated script that he had read. Postits, stapled index cards all over it – I’m sure his wife had even written ‘No’ across it in lipstick! We went through every page and every moment, every beat had been commented on. He had opinions.”
Tom previously admitted he felt honoured to star in the film.
The actor got to meet Sully – who suffered from Post Traumatic Stress Disordor in the wake of the incident and had to battle to prove the incident was not cause by “pilot error” – prior to filming and heaped praise on the pilot.
He said: “I think heroes are people who voluntarily put themselves in harm’s way. And by that criteria you could say that anybody that puts themselves in an aeroplane for a living and cheats death somehow.
“They stand up in front of 140-odd people who are jammed into those seats and says, ‘I know we will be in the air for three-and-a-half hours but don’t worry we will get you there,’ that is somebody who takes on a responsibility that’s bigger than the average job requirements.”

Luke Evans teases his Beauty and the Beast character

OHMYGOSSIP — Luke Evans thinks his role in ‘Beauty and the Beast’ is “as dark as any Disney character could possibly get”.
The 37-year-old actor stars as Gaston in the live-action remake of the Disney classic and has teased fans about what they can expect from his latest on-screen performance.
He shared: “He gets as dark as any Disney character could possibly get.”
The actor explained that Gaston was a soldier in the past, but said he reveals his true self when his advances towards Belle go unrequited.
He told Empire magazine: “This is a man who, for the first time in his life, hasn’t got what he wanted.”
Meanwhile, Luke’s on-screen co-star Emma Watson previously admitted to being nervous about singing in ‘Beauty and the Beast’.
The actress – who portrays Belle in the live-action version of the Disney classic – explained that whilst she was “excited” to be given the iconic part, she was nervous about lending her voice to the role because she’s been out of practice for so long.
She said: “It’s so crazy. I was so excited. It was nerve-wracking for me because I’ve sung as a child in plays and I loved it, but I just hadn’t done it in such a long time, it was like learning to ride a bike again.”
Emma also said that she has remained down to earth over the years and she believes it is the result of not being “swallowed” up by Hollywood.
She shared: “I’ve made films that existed outside of Hollywood and that was really helpful in a way because I didn’t get swallowed by the industry.”

National Lottery Live is axed

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘The National Lottery Live’ has been axed.
The BBC have decided to pull the plug on the live draw, which they’ve aired on the small screen since 1994, from televisions from January 7, 2017, as the broadcaster has struck up a new three-year deal with Lotto operator Camelot to move the show, which allows viewers to watch to see if their numbers come up, to a digital platform.
Camelot’s digital director Tim Copper said: “We’re delighted to have signed this contract extension, maintaining the strong relationship that has flourished between ‘The National Lottery’ and the BBC since ‘The National Lottery’s launch 22 years ago.
“As consumer habits show an unrelenting shift towards digital platforms, we’re embracing these changes in players’ results-checking habits – providing content that they can access at all times, across multiple different touch-points.
“But it’s also great that we can continue to provide a service to those loyal BBC1 viewers who want their lottery results available at a regular time as they enjoy their favourite BBC shows. This new deal will allow us to do both.”
The big move means players, who take part in the game from next year, will need to check iPlayer or the bulletins, which will air after the news on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, to find out whether they have become millionaires.
Charlotte Moore, the director of BBC content, said: “This new deal reaffirms the BBC’s commitment to ‘The National Lottery’ and our ongoing relationship with Camelot.
“We both recognise the need to provide audiences with more ways to access the draw results across a range of platforms that reflect changing behaviour, while importantly retaining a home on BBC1 and continuing our support for the tremendous work they do through the Annual Awards show.”
‘The National Lottery Live’ – which includes the Lotto and Thunderball draws – is currently hosted by Gaby Roslin, while Nick Knowles presents the show’s spin offs ‘Who Dares Wins’, ‘Break the Safe’ and ‘5-Star Family Reunion’.

Riley Carter Millington for Celebrity Fat Fighters

OHMYGOSSIP — Riley Carter Millington is set to take part in ‘Celebrity Fat Fighters’.
The ‘EastEnders’ star – who is set to bow out of the long-running soap as Kyle Slater over the next week – has agreed to compete in a new three-part series on TLC alongside six other famous faces as they attempt to turn their flab into chiselled abs.
The 22-year-old actor will rub shoulders with ‘The X Factor’ alumnus Stevi Ritchie, ‘Big Brother’s Lateysha Grace, ‘Gogglebox’s Sandi Bogle, ‘The Only Way is Essex’s James ‘Diags’ Bennewith, Jennifer Ellison and comedian Danny Miles as they’re put through their paces in a bid to kick their bad habits – including smoking – once and for all.
Clare Laycock, the head of TLC, said in a statement: “Our seven brave celebrities are in for a very unique brand of shock therapy as they bid to take back control of their body and mind. Expect sweat, tears, hunger pangs and unlikely friendships but no treats at this retreat for the rich and famous.”
Riley’s new TV gig comes just weeks after he announced he was leaving the BBC One soap after just a year on screen because producers thought his alter ego Kyle had reached a “natural end” and could go no further in Albert Square.
Riley – who was the first transgender male to play a transgender character in a UK soap – said at the time: “When I landed a six-month contract at ‘EastEnders’ it was a dream come true. For that to be extended to a year was something I never expected.
“However, as the time comes for Kyle to depart Walford I am looking forward to taking on new roles and who knows, Kyle may find his way back to Walford one day.”

Ed Balls smashes up house doing Strictly rehearsal

OHMYGOSSIP — Ed Balls has been smashing up his home while rehearsing his ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ routines.
The former politician’s wife Yvette Cooper has revealed her spouse is so desperate to lift the famous glitterball trophy next month that he’s been practising his “wild” moves in the kitchen every day but his lack of co-ordination has meant he often unintentionally swings into the cooker.
Speaking on ‘Good Morning Britain’ on Friday (25.11.16), she said: “Early on he was doing a lot of practising in the kitchen. But the trouble is now that the dances have got wilder and wilder he just bumps into the kitchen cooker so it doesn’t work. It’s Tango this week. Who knows how that one is going to go.”
Although he’s thrown himself into the competition head first, it was actually his wife who encouraged him to sign up to the ballroom and latin show because she thought it would help him shed his gut.
He said recently: “[Losing weight] is the main reason she thought I should do. She thinks there’s at least another stone-and-a-half to go. So far, it’s probably about a stone, which for six weeks isn’t bad. I’m also toning up and changing shape. You can just feel it. It’s like doing a marathon everyday.”
And, although he’d ultimately like to win the show, Ed is hoping he can remain on the programme for a few more weeks as he’d like to lose a little more weight before he gives up dancing.
He explained: “I’m trimming down, I’ve got quite a long way to go but there’s definitely some progress, I need to be there for another month. I’m doing eight hours of training a day.”
Ed has been partnered with professional dancer Katya Jones for this series and has admitted he feels “lucky” to have her as she’s been experimenting with different dance moves and characters.
He said: “We’ve been performing the characters and I’m just very lucky to have such a brilliant choreographer as well as a dancer. Katya can fit what I do with the dance into the music so well. We take every dance as it comes.”

Wayne Bridge lost wedding ring

OHMYGOSSIP — Wayne Bridge went into a panic after he thought he’d lost his wedding ring in a bug-infested swamp on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ earlier this week.
The retired football player dropped to his hands and knees and began scrambling around through the jungle dirt after he realised his golden jewel, which he was given by his wife Frankie Bridge when they got married two years ago, had fallen off his finger.
The 36-year-old sportsman initially feared the ring had slipped off while he was rummaging around in a green swamp to win the Dingo Dollar Challenge, which saw the royals – Ola Jordan, Adam Thomas, Sam Quek and Wayne – move gunge from the pool into two different buckets and then into a test tube, on Wednesday (23.11.16).
However, Wayne breathed a sigh of relief when his fellow royal contestant Sam, 28, found the ring on the floor of the shower area later that day while she was washing.
Wayne said: “I must have lost weight, it came off far too easily, that’s scary.”
The hunk has now asked producers to stash the wedding ring in a safe place in the studio until he leaves the infamous camp over the next coming weeks.
This year’s series has been riddled with bad luck since it hit television screens two weeks ago, as not only has the camp been taken over by potentially life threatening spiders and snakes, but the show has also been heavily criticised by Australian natives, who believe the progamme is mocking them and their rituals.
Producers have now been forced to take witchetty grubs off the menu for the stomach-churning eating Bushtucker Trials to avoid offending the aboriginals any further.
Wildlife presenter Chris Packham and survival expert Ray Mears have accused the show of disrespecting Australian aboriginals who rely on witchetty grubs for food.
Ray told The Sun newspaper: “It’s like someone coming to Britain and saying, ‘Eating a roast potato, isn’t that weird?’ The witchetty grub that the aboriginal people depend upon is an important source of protein. It has a religious significance. For us to go and make fun of that is very disrespectful.”

Miles Teller: I never wanted to be an actor

OHMYGOSSIP — Miles Teller never wanted to be an actor.
The 29-year-old star is among the most in-demand performers in Hollywood, but has admitted he did not aspire to be an actor during his youth and actually fell into the business by accident.
The ‘Whiplash’ star said: “I wasn’t somebody who wanted to be an actor.
“I just did some satirical bits for the school TV channel and I joined drama club at the end of my sophomore year. My friends were sarcastic. ‘Oh. You’re in drama now. That’s cool, man.’
“They never came to any of my plays or anything. Now they always want to come on set. Especially if I’m working with a pretty girl.”
In his latest on-screen role, Miles plays the part of former world champion boxer Vinny Pazienza in ‘Bleed for This’, and the actor admitted he was initially too shy to discuss the role with the ex-fighter.
He told the Irish Times newspaper: “When I was prepping for it, I didn’t really talk to Vinny at all. I just felt very sheepish. I was so far away from playing a five-time champion boxer at the time the script came to me.
“I didn’t want him to see me boxing. I didn’t want him to see the shape I was in. Oh my God. What would he have thought? Probably that ‘this guys going to bury my reputation’.
“So I watched a lot of video. Mostly I listened, rather than watched. I listened to hours and hours of him. Just studying his voice. I didn’t want to associate that with mannerisms.”
But Miles – whose film charts Vinny’s comeback from a spinal injury – did eventually get round to talking to the retired sportsman.
He shared: “I didn’t actually meet Vinny until we flew to Rhode Island to shoot. I was really nervous. I had such a tremendous amount of respect for him at that point.
“Here’s a guy who has every doctor, every authority, tell him that something is impossible. And he does it anyway.
“They say never meet your idols. Maybe that’s true. Unless they’re Vinny. He won’t let you down.”

Rosamund Pike and Christian Bale barely spoke while filming Hostiles

OHMYGOSSIP — Rosamund Pike and Christian Bale “barely spoke” when shooting ‘Hostiles’.
The 37-year-old actress – who previously worked with the actor in 2015’s ‘The Deep Blue Good-by’ – revealed her on-screen co-star kept his distance when they were not filming in front of the camera.
She said: “He is intense in a wonderful way. We barely spoke off screen. He would keep a distance. Our characters in ‘Hostiles’ are quite dysfunctional but have this profound connection that we let happen without ever really talking about it.”
And although the ‘Gone Girl’ star revealed the pair weren’t close during the filming of the upcoming Western drama, Rosamund insisted she wouldn’t rule out working with him again in the future.
She told the Metro newspaper: “I loved working with Christian because of this strange thing where we didn’t really communicate, but yet I knew I could throw anything at him and he was just there. I would work with him again, any actress would.”
Meanwhile, the ex-Bond girl – who starred in 2002’s ‘Die Another Day’ – also gave her thoughts on who should be next to play the British agent.
When asked who she would like to see play the iconic character, she shared: “Gah! I thought of someone perfect the other day! But I can’t say. Bond has this quintessential masculinity, which is politically incorrect, but you have to have a person who has got that. You can make it modern and you can make the women stronger but the bond that Ian Fleming wrote is basically a sexist.
“The world is changing and Bond is trying to change it, but he has to maintain some of those characteristics.”

David Walliams: Sheridan Smith is 'seriously talented'

OHMYGOSSIP —
David Walliams says Sheridan Smith is “seriously talented”.
The 45-year-old actor is set to star with the actress in his new series ‘Walliams & Friend’ and has gushed about how the 35-year-old star’s acting abilities are “out of this world”, and on par with global movie stars such as Keira Knightley.
David said: “There’s just something special about her.
“I’ve seen her onstage and there’s a vulnerability there.
“She’s somebody who you feel protective over. She’s not actress-y. She’s like a normal person. But she’s also a chameleon.
“She is really seriously talented. People have been waking up to that since ‘Cilla’ and ‘The C Word’. You’ve got your Keira Knightleys but Sheridan’s range is out of this world.”
The ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ judge was amazed by how well she can portray “tragedy” in a comedy sketch show.
He told The Sun newspaper: “We could give her things to do in in this show that had an element of tragedy which you couldn’t just give to any actor. There’s one sketch where she’s a cruise ship singer and she’s just magic.”
It isn’t just his sketch show that David has his eye on for Sheridan either, as he admitted he would like to write a drama about Dame Joan Collins with the blonde beauty taking on the ‘Dynasty’ legend.
He said: “Sheridan’s just magic. She gets better and better every time I see her – I liken her to Julie Walters.”
“I want to write a drama about Joan Collins and have Sheridan play Joan. It would be about the court case just after Dynasty. Joan had written a book but the publishers rejected it and tried to get the advance back.”
Whilst David might have a soft spot for Sheridan, it’s comedy duo The Chuckle Brothers – Barry and Paul Elliott – that he most enjoyed working with.
He said: “They’re iconic and brilliantly funny. When we did Comic Relief with them, Stephen Fry and Liam Gallagher were starstruck.”
David’s new sketch show also boasts talent from the likes of Jack Whitehall, Harry Enfield, Miranda Richardson and Hugh Bonneville.
The six-part series follows on from the success of last year’s Christmas special.
‘Walliams & Friend’ will air on Friday (25.11.16) at 9:30pm on BBC1.
