Rylan Clark sees mental breakdown as ‘ejector seat’ to turn his life around

OHMYGOSSIP — Rylan Clark’s breakdown was “the ejector seat” he needed.
The 35-year-old star has reflected on his struggles with mental health, as he split from husband Dan Neal in 2021 after admitting to cheating, and was admitted to a psychiatric hospital after trying to take his own life.
Reflecting on coming clean about being unfaithful, Rylan told The Guardian newspaper: “I couldn’t understand why I pressed the nuclear button on my seemingly perfect life.
“And it’s only now I’m better that I realise it was the ejector seat I needed. Now I just wish I’d pressed that escape button earlier.”
For a long period before finding clarity, the ‘This Morning’ star “got so ill to the point where he knew he couldn’t get any iller” and he struggled to function.
He explained: “I couldn’t speak. I had to learn to speak again, I had to learn to move again. It was like I’d had a stroke.
“I couldn’t understand anything. Nothing made sense to me. I couldn’t have the TV on and I couldn’t listen to music.
“All I could do was sit in silence. TV and music’s my job!”
Although there wasn’t a “lightbulb moment” that helped him come out on the other side, Rylan suggested simply being alive may have been the spark.
He said: “It sounds silly but I think the turning point was the fact that I didn’t die.
“I wish I could give a better answer because if there was a turning point, I’d bottle it and dish it out free of charge.”
Rylan thinks the breakdown helped make him who he is, but he is upset by what his loved ones had to go through during the experience.
He added: “It’s made me who I am now. My only regret is I had to put my friends and family through it, and they had to watch me turn to nothing. Horrendous.”
His experiences made him realise how much he didn’t want the trappings of fame, but instead he simply wanted to be able to do his job.
He pondered: “It’s cut-throat. Cut-throat. You think people care about people? Not really. But you know what? I earn a living from it and as long as I can sleep well at night knowing I haven’t [screwed] people over, I’m happy.”

Rio Ferdinand only got ‘two complaints’ to Ofcom over homophobic slur

OHMYGOSSIP — Rio Ferdinand only sparked “two complaints” to Ofcom over a homophobic slur he made in a past radio interview.
The 45-year-old former football star appears alongside Rylan Clark, 35, to discuss homophobia in the sport in new documentary ‘Rylan: Homophobia, Football and Me’.
The two reflected on an incident where Rio used a slur while talking to Chris Moyles on BBC Radio One in 2006.
In quotes from the documentary published by the Daily Mirror, Rylan asked: “It got you in a little bit of hot water?”, to which the ‘Match of the Day’ presenter replied: “It didn’t at the time.
“I think Ofcom only got two complaints. That was the way the changing room and we were. It was brutal.
“If you were to jump back in time and be in that changing room, the language used then would [now] be getting people cancelled left, right and centre. It was seen as normal.”
The former Manchester United defender admitted he was “embarrassed” for the language he used and culture he was surrounded by, and insisted it was “very wrong”.
He said: “I’ve been fortunate because my sister is gay.
“I made her listen to [the Radio 1 clip] and I was embarrassed.
“I’ll do everything I can to make her feel comfortable and acknowledge I was part of a culture that was very wrong, and actually society wasn’t where it is today.”
Rylan then quizzed Rio as to why there were very few openly gay players in the Premier League, like Aslie Pitter, Thomas Hitzlsperger and Jake Daniels, to which the sportsman emphasised that there still isn’t a sufficient support system for them.
He said: “I don’t think football has put together the infrastructure for a safe space for a person to come out.
“There’s a lot of uncontrollable like fans, social media, forums, where it’s inevitable that they’ll get hammered by people.”
During the documentary, Rylan revealed he struggled with homophobia in football, and felt pushed out of the Junior Hammers club for West Ham United as a child due to his sexuality.
The ‘This Morning’ presenter admitted he stopped attending matches due to the homophobic comments he faced.
He said: “Growing up loving football and being a West Ham fan, I always assumed I’d be able to go to games whenever I wanted as I got older.
“But as times moved on, and as a gay man, I sometimes felt uncomfortable around spectators at games.
“I’m not easily offended, but some of the language and insults that are used on a daily basis by football crowds made going to games almost impossible, especially as I got more and more known and started having them directed at me. ”

Stephen Mulhern thinks Holly Willoughby reunion on Dancing On Ice was ‘meant to be’

OHMYGOSSIP — Stephen Mulhern thinks reuniting with Holly Willoughby on ‘Dancing On Ice’ was “meant to be”.
The 46-year-old star replaced Phillip Schofield as Holly’s co-host on ITV’s celebrity figure skating show, and he’s delighted to be working so closely with his real life friend once again.
He told new! magazine: “I think Holly and I always wished it would happen, but we didn’t know if it would. And now it has, it’s just so lovely.
“Obviously, Holly and I are close, and I spend a lot of time with the judges, who I love to pieces too, so I feel like it was all just meant to be.
“Not many people know this but when the show first started, I did the spin-off, which was called ‘Defrosted’. So, it’s all come back around.”
The duo first rose through the business together as on children’s TV show ‘Saturday Showdown’ in the early 2000s.
Now, Stephen is loving getting to “spend more time” with his pal, who celebrates her 43rd birthday on Saturday (10.02.24).
He added: “Life is life and it’s busy, so it’s good to see her all the time.
“When I joined the show, Holly’s advice was just to be ourselves and because we’re friends, that comes naturally.
“We’ve known each other a long time, so I can work out quite easily when she’s going to say something and I’ll stop talking.”
The ‘Deal Or No Deal’ host admitted presenting a show is “much easier” when there’s a bond with your co-host.
He explained: “It does [help], it feels a lot safer. I’m really happy to finally have that double act and someone to do things with.
“I know she’s always got my back and I’ve got hers so that helps, especially for me going into a new show.
“It’s so nice to have Holly. Every weekend, I get excited to have fun.”

Zac Efron says cast chemistry makes The Iron Claw a special film

OHMYGOSSIP — Zac Efron says ‘The Iron Claw’ is a special film because the cast’s chemistry was “off the charts”.

The 36-year-old actor plays Kevin Von Erich in the biographical sports film about the professional wrestling family the Von Erichs, directed and written by Sean Durkin.

Zac stars in the movie with Jeremy Allen White, Harris Dickinson, and Stanley Simons, and he quickly got the feeling that they were all contributing to something remarkable because of their commitment to the true story.

He told website HeyUGuys: “We got to know each other really well before we got started and you could tell that all these actors really care deeply about this story. So, I mean, if you’ve got committed, hard-working, smart, cool guys around you, your chemistry is off the charts. So, love those guys.”

To prepare for his role as ’80s grappling champion Kevin, the ‘High School Musical’ actor trained with former WWE Superstar Chavo Guerro – the nephew of late wrestler Eddie Guerrero – to get ring ready.

Zac and his co-stars were put through their paces between the ropes by Chavo, 53, and quickly learned that wrestling is one tough sport.

He said “We dropped our egos at the door and just started to listen. And we had a great coach in Chavo Guerrero. I mean wrestling is no joke. It’s a hell of a sport.”

The family was blighted by the “Von Erich Curse” with Kevin’s brothers, wrestlers David, Mike, and Kerry, all dying young.

Kerry – known as the Texas Tornado when competing in Vince McMahon’s WWE promotion in the ’90s – took his own life when he was just 33, while David passed aged 25 in mysterious circumstances during a tour of Japan in 1984. Mike also ended his own life by overdosing on sleeping aid Placidyl and alcohol when he was just 25, leaving behind a tragic note for his family.

The family’s problems with toxic masculinity and mental health issues are depicted in ‘The Iron Claw’ and Zac says the film does an important job of showing the devastating effects on the siblings at a time when these matters were not discussed.

Zac said: “It’s interesting yeah, because there’s not really language around it at this point. It’s how it sneaks up on you, and in the case of the Von Erichs, it’s just such a brilliant example of how it kind of works its way into, you know, successful careers and strong families and things like that, it really is a fascinating look.”

Alison Hammond’s Strictly-style TV show axed without getting a full series

OHMYGOSSIP — Alison Hammond’s Saturday night TV show has been cancelled.
The 49-year-old presenter had filmed a pilot for the BBC called ‘Clear the Dancefloor’ and there had “high hopes” that it would emulate the success of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ but the project has now been shelved and it will not go to full series.
A TV insider told The Sun newspaper’s TVBiz column: “This will be gutting for Alison, as getting an ongoing gig on the Beeb is seen as many a presenter’s ultimate goal. There were high hopes for ‘Clear The Dancefloor’ as it seemed to tap into the same energy as ‘Strictly’, which she appeared on in 2014. But she won’t be short of work this year anyway.”
The news comes shortly after it was confirmed that ‘The Great British Bake Off’ host – who shot to fame on ‘Big Brother’ in 2002 and now regularly fronts ‘This Morning’ with Dermot O’Leary – had been chosen to take over ‘For The Love Of Dogs’ on ITV following the death of Paul O’Grady in 2023.
The TV star admitted she was “very aware” that Paul – who passed away following a heart attack at the age of 67 – was irreplaceable but is keen to help continue to sharing the stories of the dogs at the Battersea Dogs Home on screen.
She said: “I am very aware that I can never replace the iconic Paul in this wonderful series, but if I can continue to shine a light on the brilliant work done at Battersea and help to tell the stories of these beautiful dogs, then it will be an absolute privilege to give it my all. I can’t wait to share the joy of their searches for new loving forever homes and hopefully make lots of furry friends of my own along the way!”

Stellan Skarsgård reveals why he felt had to ‘minimise’ his role in Dune: Part Two

OHMYGOSSIP — Stellan Skarsgard wanted to “minimise” his role as the Baron in ‘Dune: Part Two’.
The 72-year-old actor is reprising his role in the sequel to the Oscar-winning film but explained that he was hesitant to “bring anything more” to the character for the second time round because he wants the audience to know as little about him as possible.
He told Screen Rant: “I didn’t want to bring anything more to the Baron. The thing is that the less you know about him, in a way, the better it is. If he would’ve been in several scenes, he wouldn’t have been half as dangerous. So, you had to minimise him and make sure that he was really terrifying, and that stamp was put on the film and continued all over every scene for the rest of the film.”
Asked how his role of Baron Vladimir Harkonnen has changed since the first film, he explained that his character is now a cripple and hinted he only accepted the job again because of its director.
He said: “He has been wounded. The poisonous gas in the first episode has made him a cripple, and he is depending on life support; those globes you’d see with tubes and everything. And he’s weak, so he has to find a successor. What attracted me to the second one? I always wanted to play again with Denis Villeneuve, and I wanted to be a part of the second film as well, but I didn’t want to be fat again. So, that was a sort of, “Alright, I’ll do it,’ kind of feeling I had.”
The ‘Mamma Mia!’ star also heaped praise on filmmaker Denis Villeneuve as he recalled how orgnaised the director had been on set and how his “excitable” nature made him a “lovely” person to work with.
He said: “It was fantastic how pleasant it was, and how much he enjoys making film. And he has planned it well, but he hasn’t planned it so well that he executes only what he’s done at home at his desk. He improvises, and he sees things, and he gets excited by things, and you get excited because he’s excited. It is very, very lovely.

Michelle Keegan ‘could become a Bond girl’

OHMYGOSSIP — Mark Wright could see Michelle Keegan becoming a Bond girl one day.
The 36-year-old actress has previously enjoyed success on shows such as ‘Our Girl’ and ‘Coronation Street’ – but Mark believes she has what it takes to become a Hollywood star, too.
Mark – who has been married to Michelle since 2015 – said on the Heart radio network: “She’s such a down to earth girl, never forgotten her roots. That is why when she sits there and reads news that she’s in the running to be the next Bond Girl, she’s like ‘nah, no chance, I’m not having it!’ But then when you think about it … why not?
“They’ve put her in the mix with Jodie Comer, [she] also could be running, and in the past we’ve had Rosamund Pike, Monica Bellucci, Halle Berry – just imagine if Michelle is the next Bond girl!”
Meanwhile, a brand and culture expert recently claimed that Michelle possesses the “star quality” to make it big in Hollywood.
Nick Ede made the claim after the actress’ starring role in ‘Fool Me Once’, the eight-episode series on Netflix.
Nick told Closer magazine: “This is Michelle’s golden moment.
“She’s really earned her acting stripes and she’s held her own as the lead performer in ‘Fool Me Once’ against Joanna Lumley, who is known all over the world.
“It’s really given Michelle a platform to make her a major star. All eyes are on her at the moment because Netflix is watched by millions of people globally and her series is number one [in the UK] and in the US.
“She looks every inch the Hollywood leading lady and she has star quality.”

Barbenheimer was great for cinema, says Cillian Murphy

OHMYGOSSIP — Cillian Murphy thinks the “Barbenheimer” phenomenon was “wonderful” for the movie industry.
The 47-year-old actor played J. Robert Oppenheimer, the American theoretical physicist, in the Christopher Nolan-directed ‘Oppenheimer’, and he believes the film business really benefited from the competition between his movie and ‘Barbie’.
Asked if the two films helped each other at the box office, Cillian told the BBC: “Yeah, they did. And it was a great moment for cinema.
“I think they’re both great films which couldn’t be more different. And I think it was wonderful it wasn’t any amazingly designed marketing strategy by the studio.
“It was people, you know, it was the internet and people who made up this Barbenheimer thing and it, yeah, it was a wonderful moment for cinema.”
‘Oppenheimer’ has been widely praised by fans and critics since its release.
However, Cillian insisted that he’s never been motivated by accolades.
He shared: “I know everyone says this, but you never go into making a film thinking about awards. That’s not what we do. It’s impossible to make a film that way.
“But, when a film connects with audiences like this particular one has in a way that none of us could have anticipated … it’s hugely flattering and hugely humbling and it’s lovely to see that.”
Cillian and Christopher Nolan have actually worked together on six films now, and they’ve developed a strong bond over the years.
The actor explained: “I have a huge respect for him, I’ve always loved the types of films that he makes. There’s all sorts of films that I go to the cinema to see. But we’ve developed over the years. And above all, the most important thing, I think, is trust.
“I really like being pushed as an actor, and he really, really pushes me, in the best way possible.”

‘It was really, really hard’: Kumail Nanjiani sought therapy after poor Eternals reviews

OHMYGOSSIP — Kumail Nanjiani went to therapy after the bad reviews for ‘Eternals’.
The 45-year-old actor played the part of Kingo in the 2021 Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) blockbuster but explained that promoting a film that did not impress audiences took such a toll on his mental health that he sought help from a counsellor.
Kumail told ‘Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum’: “The reviews were bad, and I was too aware of it.
“It was really, really hard because Marvel thought that movie was going to be really, really well reviewed, so they lifted the embargo early and put it in some fancy movie festivals and they sent us on a big global tour to promote the movie right as the embargo lifted.”
Kumail questioned if the criticism of the film was related to the “actual quality” of the picture and thinks the reaction was “unfair” for both him and his wife Emily V. Gordon.
The ‘Welcome to Chippendales’ actor said: “I think there was some weird soup in the atmosphere for why that movie got slammed so much, and I think not much of it has to do with the actual quality of the movie.
“It was really hard, and that was when I thought it was unfair to me and unfair to Emily, and I can’t approach my work this way anymore.
“So I started counselling. I still talk to my therapist about that.”
Kumail continued: “Emily says that I do have trauma from it. We actually just got dinner with somebody else from that movie and we were like, ‘That was tough, wasn’t it?’, and he’s like, ‘Yeah, that was really tough’, and I think we all went through something similar.”

Dave Bautista to star in action-adventure film Afterburn

OHMYGOSSIP — Dave Bautista has been cast in the action-adventure movie ‘Afterburn’.
The 55-year-old star will feature alongside Samuel L. Jackson in the post-apocalyptic set story that is being directed by J.J. Perry.
The plot takes place 10 years after a solar flare has wiped out technology across the world and Bautista plays the role of former soldier Jake – who works as a treasure hunter recovering valuable items for powerful clients.
His new mission is to team up with freedom fighter Drea to recover the Mona Lisa before an unhinged warlord gets their hands on the famous painting.
The film is adapted from the Red 5 comic/graphic novel series of the same name and Jackson has been cast in the supporting role of freedom fighter Valentine.
Principal photography on the flick is due to start in Europe in April and additional casting is underway.

The two producers first tried to get the movie into production in 2018 but it now has fresh impetus and new ideas six years later.
Jaffe said: “‘Afterburn’ is a terrific action story, combining the fun of ‘Indiana Jones’ with the near future world building of ‘Children of Men’.
“J.J. is going to bring this to life in a thrilling way, using real practical stunt work to create authentic, visceral set pieces.
“Dave is one of the leading action stars in the world today, as well as being an actor with real soul and versatility. So excited to be making ‘Afterburn’ with them both.”

Steve Coogan to return for new Alan Partridge series

OHMYGOSSIP — Steve Coogan will return as Alan Partridge for a new comedy series.
The 58-year-old comic will reprise his alter ego for ‘And Did Those Feet’, a six-part show following the hapless broadcaster as he settles back into life in the UK following a year living in Saudi Arabia.
An announcement from the BBC teased: “What begins as a documentary about homecoming soon morphs into something more personal, as Alan realises that the happiness he thought he’d feel at being back in Norwich just hasn’t materialised. Something’s missing.”
Alan will then go “on a quest to understand his funk” exploring topics such as home life, work, relationships and nature and how they “play a part in keeping us funk-free”.
The synopsis added: “And if he ends up being seen as a mental health champion for the middle-aged, who’s also a good fit to present other issues-led documentary strands, so be it.”
A statement from Alan himself explained how he “felt incomplete” living in the middle east.
He said: “The kingdom of Saudi Arabia enjoys extensive oil and natural gas reserves, but has also seen economic growth in other areas such as agricultural production, retail trade, construction and transport.
“It directs some $69 billion to military expenditure each year. And yet despite all that, I somehow felt incomplete.”
The BBC are delighted with the new series.
The network’s director of comedy commissioning, Jon Petrie, said: “Alan Partridge is the most iconic comedy character in the UK.
“The wonderful Steve Coogan and Neil and Rob Gibbons continue to innovate and create an even richer world for Alan to inhabit.
“This unflinching look at the state of the UK through Alan’s eyes promises to add more brilliance to the Partridge canon.”

Kevin Greutert returning for Saw XI

OHMYGOSSIP — Kevin Greutert is returning to direct ‘Saw XI’.
The 58-year-old filmmaker – who was at the helm of last year’s horror blockbuster ‘Saw X’ – has worked on every film in the franchise, whether it’s as an editor, director or executive producer.
As reported by Bloody Disgusting, Greutert will direct his fourth film in the iconic series, having also taken charge of 2009’s ‘Saw VI’ and ‘Saw: The Final Chapter’ the following year.
The next instalment is set to drop on September 27, 2024, but it’s not thought that ‘Saw X’ writers Josh Stolberg and Pete Goldfinger will be back to pen the new screenplay.
The last movie saw Tobin Bell return as iconic killer Jigsaw, AKA John Kraymer, alongside Shawnee Smith reprising her role as his apprentice Amanda Young.
Reflecting on its success and the positive reaction from fans, Greutert told The Hollywood Reporter: “We took a risk by really fleshing out John Kramer’s character.
“It’s contrary to the ‘Jaws’ and ‘Alien’ wisdom that the less you see of your monster, the better.
“If this movie had a chance, it was going to be by going deep into John Kramer.”
It’s unclear what direction the new film will take after ‘Saw X’ took place between the first and second movies.
Back in November, Greutert opened up on the possibility of a sequel and admitted there were already some ideas for a potential storyline.
He told ‘The Director’s Cut – A DGA Podcast’: “There’s a version that picks up immediately where this one leaves off, but it’s way too early to tell.”
However, he explained to The Hollywood Reporter the previous month: “We’ll just have to see what the future of ‘Saw’ is.
“There are so many directions we could go, but for me, there’s no obvious one coming out of this film.
“I really wanted it to feel like a kind of final send-off for the Jigsaw character, but never say never.”

‘Full force ahead’: Mira Sorvino offers update on Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion sequel

OHMYGOSSIP — Mira Sorvino and Lisa Kudrow are “full force ahead” with a ‘Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion’ sequel.
The two actresses – who played Michele Weinberger and Romy White respectively in the 1997 comedy classic – are “wrapping up deals” to executive produce the long-awaited follow-up film, but Mira explained the project can’t move ahead because original writer Robin Schiff is keen to return but is currently busy working on Netflix series ‘Emily in Paris’.
Mira told Us Weekly magazine: “Robin Schiff, the writer, is working on it. She’s currently working on ‘Emily in Paris’, so she’s finishing up her draft to present to the studio.
“Lisa and I are wrapping up our deals as executive producers on it with the studio. We’re full force ahead.”
The 56-year-old actress hopes the return of her alter ego will see Michele and her pal be just as “dumb and loveable” as they were in the original film.
Asked what she wants from the sequel, she said: “I just still want [Romy and Michele] to be as relatable, but also as dumb and lovable as they ever were. Like, I don’t think they’ve learned that much in the time in between, but they still have that unstoppable spirit and that friendship and that idiocy that makes everybody kind of love them.
“And so, that essential nature of them and the heart that’s at the center of that, that heart has to stay there.”
Plans for the sequel were first discussed after Mira and Lisa returned to their characters in 2022 to present the Outstanding Ensemble in a Comedy Series prize at the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards.
The duo had arrived on stage at Santa Monica’s Barker Hangar to a soundtrack of Cyndi Lauper’s ‘Time After Time’ in electric blue and pink suits.
Bringing back their ditzy personas, Mira told Lisa: “You look cute.”
The 60-year-old actress replied: “I know, thanks. So do you, of course. Do you think this is the cutest anyone’s ever looked at an awards show.”
Mira said: “I just realised this; we’re wearing great ensembles while at the same time presenting to great ensembles.”
Lisa quipped: “You are so right. You are so right and these cast ensembles are so hilarious and you knew that ensemble had two meanings. Okay, you’re genius.”
Before handing the award to the cast of the Apple+ sitcom ‘Ted Lasso’ – which includes Jason Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham and Brett Goldstein – Mira brought out a stack of Post-It notes, another nod to the 1997 movie.
Mira confirmed afterwards they were hoping to make another film.
She told ‘Extra’: “For me, that’s always been a wish. People have a hunger for it and we’d love to do it.”

Rylan Clark reveals reason for This Morning snub

OHMYGOSSIP — Rylan Clark has ruled himself out of hosting ‘This Morning’ on a permanent basis.
The 35-year-old star has been a favourite among fans to take over on the ITV daytime show as bosses hunt for new regular presenters after the departures of Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.
However, he told Yahoo!: “I worked at This Morning for what, six years?
“And then I left and I got used to sleeping in and now it’s so nice to be able to just pop in for a week, see everyone, have a lovely time, give away some money and then go home.
“And at the end of the day if I do anything wrong, ain’t my show, don’t care!”
When it comes to who he’d like to see take up permanent residence on the famous sofa, he’s keeping his lips sealed.
He insisted: “I love everyone that’s there. I hate to be Mr Diplomat… But I’ve been really lucky, I’ve hosted ‘This Morning’ with pretty much everyone: Phil, Holly , Ruth [Langsford], Eamonn [Holmes], Geri Halliwell.
“I think I presented a show with Lorraine [Kelly]. I get about on that show. I’ve had everyone!”
Although the replacements are yet to be announced, it was reported last week that Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard are set to take on the roles.
It’s been claimed Cat actually wanted to host the show with Rylan after they worked together on the programme for a three-day stint in November
However, a source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: ” ITV is planning to announce Cat and Ben as their new star pairing in March.
“Obviously Ben is well known and loved by the ITV daytime audience thanks to his many years on the breakfast sofa.
“Cat is also a very recognisable face, thanks to her long stint of working on kids’ TV, although she’s been over in the US for a long time.”

Oti Mabuse hires stylist to help feel confident in post baby body

OHMYGOSSIP — Oti Mabuse has hired a stylist to help her feel good in her post-baby body.
The former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ professional – who welcomed her first daughter into the world in December 2023 with husband Marius Iepure – has been adjusting to life without dancing for hours each day, which has contributed to her changing body shape.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror newspaper, she reflected on her recent return to the ‘Dancing On Ice’ judging panel with the help of stylist Emma Lane.
She explained: “Once you become a mum, all those things you cared about you just don’t care about.
“You are not important anymore, it’s all about the baby. My body has changed, and I want to try new things.”
She previously reflected on her changing figure, noting her body “just doesn’t burn as fast as it used to”.
In a social media post, she credited her parents Peter and Dudu with being her inspiration to start a family of her own.
While they never put her “under any pressure”, she added: “I am who I am because of my mom and dad.
“I would want nothing more than to have them in my children’s life. To teach them values, skills and advice them how we were raised.”
Oti revealed she had given birth in a joyous Instagam post on Chrismas Day (25.12.24), having also announced her pregnancy on the social media site.
Last summer, she and Iepure wrote in a joint post: “Our ‘yes’ year is getting better and better and so is our little family.
“We feel finally ready and excited to share our wonderful news. This is new for us scarier than swimming with sharks, jumping off cliffs or even swinging from bridges but the best news we could have ever ask for…
“We love our little bundle of joy so much already… and can’t wait to see what our future will now look like as family of 3 plus [dog] leo, it’s been a beautiful journey so far with close friends and family and nearly over but we have learnt a lot a long the way…”
