Jacqueline Jossa slams bodyshamers

OHMYGOSSIP — Jacqueline Jossa has hit out at bodyshamers.
The ‘EastEnders’ actress claims she is regularly fat-shamed on social media, despite only being a UK size 10-12.
She fumed: “Everywhere I look, people are talking about weight or how to lose it, feel sorry for the young girls looking up to the wrong people.
“It’s Christmas, eat what you want, the most important thing is family, and having fun.”
“We don’t have to be stick thin to be happy, this seriously upsets me, I get called fat on a regular basis, I’ve had a baby and I’m happy.
“I’m also still a size 10-12 and don’t want to feel pressured into losing weight to please other people.
“There is so much worse going on in the world right now, I’m going to embrace this Christmas, eat what I want and play games with my family (sic).”
Jacqueline’s fiancé Dan Osbourne recently admitted the 24-year-old actress lost her confidence after giving birth to their daughter Ella in February 2015 but added that her recent Sexiest Female win at the Inside Soap awards had given her a much-needed boost.
He said: “She was really happy to win that award. She didn’t think she could win it after she’d had a baby- she doesn’t think he’s sexy any more.
“But now she feels good about herself and has had a confidence boost.”

Len Goodman is the 'King' of Strictly Come Dancing

OHMYGOSSIP — Len Goodman is the “King of ‘Strictly'”.
The 72-year-old professional ballroom dancer made his final appearance on the popular BBC One dance competition ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ on Sunday (18.12.16) after being head judge on the show for 12 years, and the straight-talking critique has been hailed as television’s royalty by co-host Claudia Winkleman.
Speaking in a documentary ‘Strictly Len Goodman’, which is set to air on Friday (23.12.16), the 44-year-old presenter said: “Len is the king of all things ballroom and basically the king of ‘Strictly’. Everyone totally respects him.
“He is a master, so everyone totally respects him, both on front of camera but also backstage.
“So if Len wanders down and goes, ‘Yeah, it was a good lift’, everyone goes, ‘Oh, Len liked it’, because he is unfailingly honest but also incredibly knowledgeable.”
And fellow host Tess Daly, 47, who previously helmed the programme alongside Sir Bruce Forsyth, has described the Bromley-born star as the head of the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ family.
The blonde beauty said: “As far as Strictly is concerned, Len is the daddy.”
And Tess – who has presented the show since it first aired in 2004 – has admitted it has been “such a treat” for her to work alongside Len over the years and to be greeted with the “cheeky little glint” in his eye every week.
She explained: “There’s so many favourite Len moments, just working with him every week is such a treat, you know that little sparkle in his eye, that cheeky little glint he has.
“I love watching him dance when he comes onto the show at the beginning when we introduce him and he interacts with the audience, he’s high fiving them, he’s gliding past them, jiving up a storm.”

Keira Knightley to star in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales

OHMYGOSSIP — Keira Knightley is reportedly set to star in ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales’.
The 31-year-old actress is rumoured to be returning to the fifth installment of the popular Disney sequel, which is set for release in May next year, to reprise her role as Orlando Bloom’s on-screen wife Elizabeth Turner, although initially known as Elizabeth Swann in the first film release in 2003.
And the brunette beauty – who has 19-month-old daughter Edie with her husband James Righton – was “excited” to return to the film set to shoot “top-secret” scenes at Shepperton studios for the upcoming production last month.
A source told the Mirror Online: “The top-secret one-day shoot took place in November and the set was in lock-down.
“Keira was really excited to reprise the character that made her famous and get into her wigs and costume again.”
Although it has been reported Knightley’s role in the upcoming movie is only “small”, it is rumoured it is to allow her to make a bigger comeback in the films sixth follow-up.
The source continued: “Her role will be only make a small return during the end credits to delivering killer lines hinting at a possible bigger part in sixth movie.”
This news may come as a surprise as the mother-of-one has previously admitted she never wanted to return to the fantasy film as she has enjoyed a “good five year chunk”.
When previously asked if she would return to act alongside co-stars Johnny Depp, who plays Captain Jack Sparrow, and Bloom, she said: “No, I don’t think so. It was an amazing point in my life, but it was a good five year chunk. I can’t really imagine going back to it.”

Priyanka Chopra's 'deliciously evil' Baywatch character

OHMYGOSSIP — Priyanka Chopra says her ‘Baywatch’ character is a “bitch in couture”.
The ‘Quantico’ actress stars in the big-screen remake of the iconic TV series, alongside Zac Efron and The Rock, and is thrilled that she was cast as the “deliciously evil” villain.
Speaking about wearing a swimsuit in the movie, she told You magazine: “Modern India is very different. And anyway, I play a bitch in couture – patronising and deliciously evil – so I spend most of the time covered up. I loved every minute of it and was a huge fan of the original ‘Baywatch’. In ‘Quantico’ I have swimsuit scenes, though, and that hasn’t provoked any criticism.”
Although she has successfully made the leap from Bollywood from Hollywood, Priyanka, 34, admitted she never set out to conquer Tinseltown.
She said: “I never set out to ‘crack Hollywood’, but if it happens it will be an amazing thing for ending ethnic stereotyping. My parents always taught me to dream big and to chase those dreams. When they raised me they never differentiated between my brother and me or made me feel that there were any limitations on me as a female. Both my parents were doctors and we were a very academic family as most Indians are. That stereotype is true! I was so driven. I always had to come first in school. That same drive pushes me to do well in my work.
“I had never considered acting. As a child, I wanted to be a psychologist. Then for a while I wanted to be an aeronautical engineer and work for NASA. Ironically, I now spend my life flying – but not in the way I imagined!”

Michelle Keegan is always broody

OHMYGOSSIP — Michelle Keegan is “always broody”.
The ‘Our Girl’ actress admits she and her husband Mark Wright both go through “phases” of wanting to have a baby but they are not planning to start a family just yet.
She said: “I’m always broody, but we’re not planning anything.
“Both of us go through phases. I’m about to become an auntie again [to her stepbrother’s child] so I’ll get my baby fix when he or she is born next year.”
The 29-year-old actress’ decision to fly to South Africa to work on ‘Our Girl’ shortly after she and Mark tied the knot sparked speculation their marriage was in trouble, but Michelle insists she was doing the right thing.
She told Fabulous magazine: “But what’s the alternative? That I don’t take on the roles? That wouldn’t happen.”
Mark, 29, had offered to accompany his wife to South Africa, but she felt it was best to go out alone initially.
She said: “I said no. Him leaving me out there would have been awful. I just had to get on with it. I knew I had to go it alone.”
The former ‘Coronation Street’ star’s decision to leave her wedding ring and £20,000 engagement band behind when she flew out also raised eyebrows, but she insisted it was practical she didn’t take it out with her for security reasons.
She explained: “I’m not going to wear the ring for the role and I don’t go home to get the ring just to put it on for press purposes.
“I didn’t go to South Africa with my ring, and that was a joint decision with Mark. It wasn’t me saying, ‘I don’t want to wear it.’ I’d rather keep it at home where I know it’s safe.
“I’ve only been married for a year and a half. I’m working away, so why can’t it be celebrated that we’re newly married and have our separate careers, but are still really strong?
“Our marriage is going really well. We’re happy. I don’t want to constantly say: ‘We’re happy, we’re fine,’ because why validate it? If we’re happy, we’re happy. But the press don’t see that, and that’s the sad thing.”

Scarlett Moffatt to host Great British Bake Off?

OHMYGOSSIP — Scarlett Moffatt is a “serious contender” to be the new host of ‘The Great British Bake Off’.
The ‘Gogglebox’ star is being tipped to take over from Mel and Sue when the popular culinary competition moves to Channel 4, after proving a hit with viewers when she won ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ last month.
A source told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: “Scarlett is now a serious contender – she opened a lot of eyes to her potential on .I’m a Celebrity’.
“She is young, very funny and just the type of presenter Channel 4 are looking for to front their version of the show.”
However, the 26-year-old star won’t be fronting the programme alone.
The insider added: “Scarlett may be inexperienced but the thinking is she could be paired with a more senior co-host.”
Among those being tipped to anchor the show with the telly fan are Victoria Coren Mitchell, comic Sarah Millican, ‘QI’ host Sandi Toksvig and popular Channel 4 presenter Davina McCall.
Offers have been flooding in for the former office worker since she won the jungle contest last month, but Scarlett has reportedly told her management team she wants to enjoy Christmas with her boyfriend Luke Crodden and her family before making any decisions about her future.
A friend said: “She wants to enjoy a lovely Christmas, then make a proper shot at a long-term television career. She is prepared to work hard to achieve it.”
Regular ‘Bake Off’ hosts Mel and Sue confirmed after it was announced the show was moving from the BBC to Channel 4 that they would not be staying with the programme, as did original judge Mary Berry.
However, her co-judge Paul Hollywood will be a part of the new show when it returns to screens, which is expected to be in 2018.

Martin Scorsese's deep movie

OHMYGOSSIP — Martin Scorsese has been taken on a “deeper road” by ‘Silence’ than any of his other movies.
The 74-year-old filmmaker is still unsure how much he has been impacted by his latest movie – which stars Andrew Garfield and Adam Driver as two missionaries in 17th century Japan who are sent to find an older Jesuit (Liam Neeson) who is rumoured to have renounced his faith – but he is still on a journey with it.
He said: “‘Silence’ has taken me on a deeper road than my previous films.
“I didn’t know how deep it was, and maybe I still don’t, quite honestly. I haven’t experienced a conversion on the road to Damascus; I’m still on the road. You stop a little here, stop a little there. And eventually, it’s only going to one place.”
The acclaimed filmmaker also admitted he was on the verge of collapse after making ‘The Departed’, his 2006 tale of double-crossing police officers, which starred Leonardo DiCaprio and Matt Damon, and felt it would “kill” him if he had to promote the movie as he had had such an “unpleasant” time making the movie.
He recalled told the Sunday Telegraph: “Moral Ground Zero, I call it.
“All the characters killed at the end, basically everyone, and there was no place to go, after that.
“You know, I hardly did any press for that film. I was tired of it. I felt it was maddening.
“I mean, I like the picture, but the process of making it, particularly in the post-production, was highly unpleasant.
“I said, I don’t care how much I’m being paid, it’ll kill me. I’ll die. Very simply.”

Felicity Jones was highest paid on Rogue One

OHMYGOSSIP — Felicity Jones was paid significantly more for her role in ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ than her castmates.
The 33-year-old actress was reportedly able to negotiate a seven-figure upfront sum to play Rebel fighter Jyn Erso after being nominated for a Best Actress Oscar for her role in ‘The Theory of Everything’, and the figure is considerably higher than the “mid-six figures” paycheques of her co-stars, including Diego Luna and Ben Mendehlsohn.
A source told the Hollywood Reporter: “She knows her worth.”
While Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy has previously insisted there won’t be a sequel to ‘Rogue One’, sources told the magazine Felicity has the option for one sequel written into the contract, though it is unclear how that would be used.
It is possible the actress could appear in a stand-alone story about another character from the universe in the future.
However, Felicity herself has previously admitted she felt a ‘Rogue One’ sequel was a possibility.
Speaking before the idea was dismissed by Lucasfilm, the actress said: “It’s set up for one. I mean, there’s a number in the title.”
Felicity previously revealed she had sought inspiration for her character in the movie from Beyonce.
She explained: “I think she’s someone who has incredible power and is devoted to what she does, but she also seems like a very nice person. I think that’s very important to emulate …
“Particularly when I’m doing these scenes, I get really into it. When I’d get home, I wouldn’t even realise. I think the adrenaline is pumping around your body so much. Then you get home and you’re suddenly like, ‘Wow, I’ve got quite a few bruises going on here.'”

Marion Cotillard has no relationship with video games

OHMYGOSSIP — Marion Cotillard has “no relationship” with the ‘Assassin’s Creed’ games.
The French actress stars in the movie adaptation of the popular video game series – but has admitted she does not have any real interest in computers and has insisted the film will be distinctly different.
She said: “I don’t like games where you kill people! No offence to all the people who love it. But this is different. This is a real idea behind the script.”
However, Marion revealed that one of her best friends is a huge fan of the video games and that made playing her on-screen character alongside Michael Fassbender that bit easier.
He shared: “One of my best friends is a big fan, like one of the biggest. She played all the games and everything. She told me about the game. And I did a little bit of research about the Templars.
“But what I thought was very interesting is exploring the mind of scientist who thinks that she can cure violence with a mix of science and items and ideas of the past.”
And Marion said that some of the science fiction ideas explored in the movie are “really cool and interesting”.
Asked whether she enjoys working on the genre, the 41-year-old star explained to SFX magazine: “That’s what I love about movies. I like to be part of very realistic projects, and then suddenly you jump into a totally different kind of reality.
“Here you have all kinds of science fiction ideas that I thought were really cool and interesting.”

Jonathan Cheban's extravagant demands

OHMYGOSSIP — Jonathan Cheban will reportedly spent two months living in a £5,000-a-night hotel and have a personal driver when he appears on ‘Celebs Go Dating’.
The 42-year-old publicist – who is best known for being Kim Kardashian West’s best friend – has reportedly signed up for the reality show and bosses pulled out all the stops to get him onboard, as they see him as the “star” of the programme.
A source told MailOnline: “Jonathan will be the highest profile star on the reality show and securing someone of his calibre comes at a cost and a certain amount of expectations on the shows producers.
“Jonathan has demanded a private jet to bring him and his entourage to the UK and a suite for the duration at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel which costs up to £5,000 per night – a total cost of £300,000 for the two months he will stay in the UK.
“Show bosses are referring to him as their star of the show and are set to meet his demands at any cost to ensure he is happy.
“Bosses are also set to secure Jonathan his own personal driver for his time on the show.”
Jonathan – who quit ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ last year after just a week inside the house – is set to be joined on the show by Pussycat Dolls singer Melody Thornton, ‘CBB’ winner Stephen Bear, ‘The Only Way is Essex’ star Ferne McCann, Diversity dancer Perri Kiely and ex-‘TOWIE’ cast member Joey Essex.
Joey previously appeared on the first series of the E4 show and enjoyed a brief romance with Stephanie Pratt.
The 20-episode series set to start filming next month.

Coleen Nolan's marriage crisis

OHMYGOSSIP — Coleen Nolan’s marriage is “in crisis”.
The ‘Loose Women’ presenter has admitted she and musician husband Ray Fensome, 58, are battling to save their 17-year relationship and while they will spend Christmas together, they may then opt for a trial separation as they try to figure out what the future holds
She said: “My marriage is in crisis and I won’t lie about it.
“We’re going to do a lot of talking over the next couple of weeks, but if we can’t fix it then I want us to have counselling. The next step is a trial separation.”
The 51-year-old star insists the possibility of separating doesn’t mean they have failed, as it is important they reassess their relationship and see whether they want to save their eight-year marriage.
She added to the Sunday Mirror newspaper: “But I don’t see that as a failure. It’s important to know what it would be like not to have each other in our lives and it’s a chance to reflect.
“It would be more of a failure if we just ignored it and carried on.”
Coleen – who has sons Shane Jr, 28 and Jake, 24, from her marriage to Shane Richie, and daughter Ciara, 15, with Ray – admitted she and her spouse had faced problems two years ago, but worked through their difficulties, and have found it harder to do that this time around.
She said: “Things have changed massively for us this year.
“The kids are older and need us less and Ray’s job has taken him away more. But instead of evolving with those changes, our relationship has just hit a wall and it’s only when you’re thrown together again you realise the connection you once had is gone.”
The ‘I’m In the Mood for Dancing’ singer struggled with her self-confidence after she turned 50, and was devastated when Ray told her he didn’t “fancy” her anymore six months ago, but insists she won’t change her appearance to please him.
She said: “I suddenly felt invisible as a woman and was looking for reassurance from Ray. Six months ago I said to him, ‘I don’t feel like you fancy me any more’ and I told him he had to answer me honestly.
“I was totally devastated when he said, ‘The thing is, men are visual’. He meant that when he looks at me, he doesn’t fancy me.
“It was very tough to hear, but I’d asked him for the truth and sometimes the truth bloody hurts! He went through a period – perhaps still is – where that physical attraction just wasn’t there for him.
“From my side of things, I hate it when he’s had a drink – he’s the least fanciable man on the planet in my opinion and I told him that.
“But I’m not going to live off carrots to get down to a size six just to please Ray. Deep down I’m happy with who I am.”
After struggling to get Ray to open up about his true feelings, Coleen was grateful to make a breakthrough with him earlier this month and felt a “huge relief” when he reassured her he still wanted to be with her.
She said: “I asked if he was still in love with me and instantly he said ‘yes’. And then I asked if he still wanted to be married or call it quits. He said he couldn’t think of anything worse than ending it. It was a huge relief.
“Until that point I wasn’t sure Ray still loved me – he’s not the kind of man that says it – so it was a massive breakthrough.”

Denzel Washington's praise for Chris Pratt

OHMYGOSSIP — Denzel Washington thinks Chris Pratt is one of the most “special” actors he has ever worked with.
The Oscar-winning star admits his ‘Magnificent Seven’ co-star and screen legend Tom Hanks are the two people he would single out most as having a particular gift to impress audiences.
He said: “In my career, I’ve worked with two actors who I could tell had that something special that would resonate with audiences – Tom Hanks and Chris Pratt.”
Meanwhile, ‘Passengers’ director Morten Tyldum has compared his leading man – who stars in the film opposite Jennifer Lawrence – to Harrison Ford because they share a “vulnerability”.
He said: “I would say Harrison Ford. I always felt Harrison Ford looked like he’s about to shoot himself when he’s carrying his own gun. He always looked afraid, he’s not just this tough guy, you know?
“And that’s something Chris had – that masculinity, but also vulnerability.”
And Chris’ ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ director James Gunn also admires the star’s “vulnerability”, but he admitted the actor needed reassurance that he has a “natural charisma” that carries his performance.
He told GQ magazine: “He has a need to juggle, a need to entertain, to be fidgeting around, to always be entertaining and funny… but it worked against us for a good portion of the movie.
“What made the difference between Chris Pratt sidekick and Chris Pratt movie star was just letting him trust himself that he does have this natural charisma, this natural vulnerability, so you can just get out the way. You don’t always need to do everything.
“He has that old Gary Cooper-style charm, but also there’s a vulnerability that’s very modern and separates him from big movie stars of the last 10, 20 years.”

And whilst the star – who has been known throughout the series for crying after his performances – was left in tears as he lifted the glitterball trophy with his professional dance partner Joanne Clifton, and thanked her for being his “best friend”.

“This has been the most incredible experience of my life. I’ve learnt to dance, I’ve made a best friend, I’ve been on the show that I’ve loved for 12 years. ”

She said: “I can’t believe it. Thank you for working so hard. You’ve become a dancer!”

No drugs for Matt Terry

OHMYGOSSIP — Matt Terry has vowed never to take drugs.
The squeaky clean ‘X Factor’ winner insists he has never tried illegal substances and he has no plans to, as he launches his music career.
He told the Daily Mirror: “I’ve never ever done drugs and I never will. I’m a strong-minded person and I will only do something if I want to do something.
“I come from a very grounded family – normal people – so for me it’s really important to stay who I am.”
Matt’s vow comes just weeks after his fellow ‘X Factor’ contestant Honey G revealed she became addicted to narcotics after being kidnapped and sexually assaulted when she was at university.
She said: “I have struggled with addiction. I have nothing to hide. I did do some class A drugs like cocaine and I did pills.
“The thing about me is there is actually a story behind me and my life. It’s not like, ‘Hi I’ve just turned up on X Factor’.
“I’ve been a musician my entire life and I’ve been through real experiences. I’m totally real, hardcore and I have experienced things that are real.
“I do not do Class A drugs any more. A pill, a bit of coke, I would not touch that nowadays. I was still doing a bit of coke but I don’t touch it now.”
After Honey G’s confession, ‘X Factor’ bosses questioned her about her drug use and issued a statement.
Spokesman Rick Behari said: “We’ve spoken to Honey and she’s assured us she has not taken drugs while being on the show.”

Louise Redknapp: 'Strictly improved my marriage'

OHMYGOSSIP — Louise Redknapp claims ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ has improved her marriage.
The singer has been surprised by her husband Jamie Redknapp’s dedication to the show, and can’t believe he has been in the front row cheering her on every week.
She told the Daily Star: “When I first started doing this show, I thought this is so not up Jamie’s street – but I can’t get rid of him.
“Every Saturday he’s in the front row, he’s in the training room and I wasn’t expecting that.
“I thought I’d go to work, do my thing. He said: ‘I think this is going to be great for you, get back out there, show everyone who you are.’
“I wasn’t expecting him there every Saturday in that front row and that’s made it even more special for me.
“It’s really nice to see someone you love extremely proud of you.
“It takes me back to 20 years ago when we first met and I was on stage – all good things come from ‘Strictly’!”
While Louise and Jamie have avoided the ‘Strictly’ curse, his pals Jack Whitehall previously revealed he had teased the former footballer that Louise would leave him for her dance partner Kevin Clifton.
He said: “I have been winding Jamie up about the ‘Strictly’ curse. He did not enjoy the jokes. He nearly punched me.”

Jonah Hill joins Joaquin Phoenix movie

OHMYGOSSIP — Jonah Hill will co-star in ‘Don’t Worry, He Won’t Get Far on Foot’, with Joaquin Phoenix.
Joaquin will star in the Gus Van Sant directed movie about quadriplegic cartoonist John Callahan, whose works were somewhat controversial, and Jonah has joined the cast as one of his caregivers, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The movie will be based on the cartoonist’s autobiography of the same name and tells all about his life, including when he became paralysed aged just 21 after a car accident.
The artist – who died in July 2010 aged 59 – turned to drawing after the incident, holding a pen between both hands, and several of his subjects were considered taboo.
Some of his works appeared in his local Portland newspaper Willamette Week, but his cartoons would often lead to protests against the publication and boycotts.
Callahan started drinking alcohol aged 12 but later gave up at 27 following his car accident, which occurred while he was bar hopping.
The motion picture has long been talked about with the late Robin Williams previously thought to be in the frame to portray the cartoonist.
It is being produced by Anonymous Content and Iconoclast Pictures.
Phoenix and Van Sant worked together on 1995 comedy-drama movie ‘To Die For’, the actor’s breakthrough role as a leading character.
