Gemma Atkinson doesn't have men hitting on her

OHMYGOSSIP — Gemma Atkinson doesn’t get men “hitting on her.”
The ‘Emmerdale’ star has admitted she rarely turns heads when she’s out and about in public but she doesn’t mind because she quite enjoying being single.
She said: “I’m happily single. I don’t feel ready to date at the moment. I’m kind of loving being on my own and being able to go out with the girls. You get a few people who watch ‘Emmerdale’ coming over to you but I don’t get anyone hitting on my. I don’t think they’d dare.”
The 32-year-old actress split from her fitness trainer boyfriend Olly Foster after two years of dating in July but is still in contact with him and allows him to put together her workout plans for her.
She explained: “He lives in London now, but he still does my training programmes. If I have any shoots coming up I always message him saying: ‘I need to look like this in so many weeks, what do I do?’ He’s amazing at what he does.”
And Gemma – who has a strong physique – is no doubt hoping to find a boyfriend that has a similar career path as Olly as she’s regularly told by people that women shouldn’t have muscles.
She told OK! magazine: “I feel sorry for them. My mum’s always said to me that a strong woman intimidates boys but excites men. I think a real woman is whatever she wants to be. I’m more confident now than I was in my twenties.”

Marion Cotillard reveals why she never played Assassin's Creed

OHMYGOSSIP — Marion Cotillard never played the ‘Assassin’s Creed’ video game because she doesn’t “like to kill people”.
The 41-year-old actress stars in the movie adaptation of the popular game alongside Michael Fassbender – but has admitted she was never previously interested in the action-adventure gaming series.
She shared: “There are video games I love. My favourite is called ‘The Box’. It’s a box and you need to find out how to open it and then inside that there’s another box and then another box. I don’t like to kill people, so that’s why I didn’t play ‘Assassin’s Creed’.
“Even when I played Lara Croft I loved the physical thing, but when she got to kill the wolves I didn’t like it. I didn’t even like killing the bad guys. That’s not my thing.”
Marion and Michael, 39, previously worked together on the 2015 release ‘Macbeth’, which was based on William Shakespeare’s play of the same name.
And Marion admitted there are some similarities between the two movies, both of which are directed by Justin Kurzel.
She explained to the Irish Times newspaper: “It was not as if the film is a big dumb comedy.
“But it is a very different kind of movie. There is a lot of violence. But there’s violence in ‘Macbeth’ as well. Making the film involves the same commitment, the same depth. Justin is one of the best directors I’ve worked with.”
And Marion revealed she has a vaguely similar approach to all of the roles she accepts.
The actress said: “I make myself believe that I am a different person. If I believe it, then I hope others will too.
“The way someone breathes is important. It creates tension in the body. It changes the way you walk. Traumas affect how you breathe, too. It changes how open or closed you are. It adds physicality to the role.”

Christopher Lloyd won't retire

OHMYGOSSIP — Christopher Lloyd loves working too much to retire.
The ‘Back to the Future’ actor may be 78 now, but he doesn’t want to slow down or enjoy more time off because he still enjoys his career.
He said: “I love working. I have no plans of retiring or anything like that, I just like doing it.”
Christopher can currently be seen as paranormal serial killer Crowley in ‘I Am Not A Serial Killer’ and despite the dark role, he insists his character isn’t an “evil man”.
He said: “Crowley doesn’t really understand himself or where he came from.
“He has these urges when death is approaching and I don’t get the sense that he questions the morality of that.
“I don’t think he’s an evil man by nature, it’s just the way he exists.
“He knows there’s something not acceptable in what he does but I don’t think he feels guilt about it.
“It was an interesting character to try and make sense out of.”
The film sees Christopher’s character cross paths with his sadistic teenage neighbour John, who is played by Max Records, and the veteran actor thinks the two have a very “strange dynamic” between them.
He said: “John has been diagnosed with tendencies towards becoming a serial killer and he’s battlng that at the same time that I come up in his life.
“It’s a strange dynamic and an interesting dilemma.”

Ryan Reynolds: Deadpool isn't in Hugh Jackman's Logan

OHMYGOSSIP — Ryan Reynolds has denied Deadpool and Wolverine will reunite in ‘Logan’.
The 40-year-old hunk, who plays Wade Wilson (Deadpool), has poured cold water over fans’ hopes that his cheeky crime-fighting hero with come face-to-face with Hugh Jackman’s moody X-Men character in his forthcoming standalone movie due for release next March.
On Thursday (28.12.16) Reynolds took to Twitter to answer a fan’s question about the rumours and wrote: “No. I want a Deadpool/Wolvie film. But Logan is its own unique & perfect thing. The Big Red Shit-Talker wouldn’t mix with the tone(sic)” and added that Wolverine is “is on a solo mission.”
‘Logan’ director James Mangold added “Deadpool ain’t in the film, pal” whilst Jackman also chimed in, writing, “What they said.”
Reynolds did appear on screen with Jackman in ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’ in 2009 and recently said he would love the characters to confront each other in a ‘Deadpool V Wolverine’ movie.
He teased: “I want Deadpool and Wolverine in a movie together.”
However, the heartthrob admits it could take some persuading for Jackman -who has played the titular mutant since 2000’s ‘X-Men’ – to agree to work on a sequel and he may have to garner the support of his online followers.
Reynolds admitted: “What we’re gonna have to do is convince Hugh.
“If anything, I’m going to need to do what I can to get my internet friends back on board to help rally another cause down the line.”

The movie will also cover Armstrong’s life from 1961 to 1969, and is described as a “visceral, first-person account, exploring the sacrifices and the cost – on Neil and on the nation – of one of the most dangerous missions in history”.
Josh Singer has adapted the script from James R. Hansen’s book ‘First Man: The Life of Neil A. Armstrong’, while Hansen, Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey will all produce the film.
Isaac Klausner has also joined the project as executive producer.

Robbie Williams and Ayda Field to host chat show?

OHMYGOSSIP — Robbie Williams and Ayda Field want to host a chat show together.
Ayda is a panellist on the ITV show ‘Loose Women’ and Robbie is keen to branch out from his music career and try something new.
A source told The Sun: “Robbie has a huge fan base and Ayda has become hugely popular since joining ‘Loose Women’.
“They have a bond which their followers love but they aren’t afraid to take the mick out of each other.
“Robbie knows Ayda wants to make it in TV and it’s something he’s always fancied a crack at. It’d be a surefire hit.
“Richard and Judy became an institution hosting ‘This Morning’ and later, with their own show.
“Robbie and Ayda could easily be even more successful. They’re a great pairing.”
Robbie has made some appearances on Ayda’s episodes of ‘Loose Women’ and the pair have been a huge hit with viewers for their honesty about their lives together.
Ayda – who has children Teddy, four, and Charlton, two, with Robbie – recently admitted she has faked orgasms during sex but was mortified when Robbie confronted her on-air about it.
She admitted: “I’ve faked it, not just with Rob, but in general.
“I’ve got two kids, I’m tired, there’s tea on, ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ – that’s not a mantra, it’s on the telly – there’s things I’ve got to do.”
However, Ayda was in for a shock as after the show’s advert break, she was confronted by her husband – but he insisted he wasn’t too upset.
He said: “Was I listening? I was in the green room. You have been faking it? With me, Robbie Williams? 18 Brits. It’s alright darling, I love you.”
And the ‘Party Like a Russian’ singer insisted he has “never” faked it himself.
Asked if he has faked it, he quipped: “Never. I wouldn’t know how. Perhaps we can practice [faking it] tonight.”

Michael Fassbender thinks gamers will approve of Assassin's Creed

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Fassbender is “very confident” gamers will enjoy the ‘Assassins Creed’ movie.
The 39-year-old actor stars in and has produced the upcoming video game adaptation and he thinks the hardcore fans of the franchise will appreciate that the film stays true to the game in some ways, while also taking risks in others.
He said: “I’m very confident that the gamers will appreciate what we’ve done.
“There are things that we absolutely wanted to respect, but I think they want you to make some bold choices.
“The gamers are a pretty fun bunch and they’re very passionate from my experience of interacting with them and they like to be surprised.”
While Michael did his own stunts as much as he could on the set, he didn’t even consider the saga’s infamous leap of faith, as he knew he would “die” if he attempted to freefall from a great height.
Asked if he had thought about doing the stunt himself, he told SciFiNow: “Definitely not. I would die. And anybody in this room would too.
“I do stunts where I can do it so there’s a lot of me in the film, but I said, ‘Would I be able to do that?’ and the stunt coordinator said, ‘Absolutely not’. He’s not on a wire, this is freefall.”
But director Justin Kurzel was keen to have as many real stunts as possible in the film as her felt he’d get “bored” if they relied on green screen to simulate the scenes.
He said: “I knew I didn’t want to be on a green-screen stage for six months getting bored s**tless.
“I wanted to be able to do a lot of these stunts for real and go to places where we could do these things for real.
“We got the best stunt guys, parkour guys and slackline guys in the world and we had an Olympic team of athletes who came and discovered what was possible for a human being to do.
“Sometimes we discovered in a very painful way that it wasn’t, and other times it was amazing.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Adam Thomas has asked his brothers to be his best men at his wedding.
The ‘Emmerdale’ star was undecided about who he would have at his side when he ties the knot with his fiancée Caroline Daly next year but he has now decided that his older sibling Ryan Thomas – known for playing builder Jason Grimshaw in ‘Coronation Street’ – and his twin Scott Thomas will both be there for him.
The ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ finalist enlisted the help of his two-year-old son Teddy, whom he has with Caroline, by making the toddler wear a T-shirt that read: “Uncle Ryry, Uncle Scott, will you be daddy’s best men?”
The 28-year-old hunk then uploaded a photograph online of him, his son and his two siblings that had been taken just after he’d asked his brothers the question.
He accompanied the family shot with the caption: “Would only be right to ask the best men in my life to be the best men at my wedding love my brothers more than life itself … thanks Ted for helping ou haha @ryanthomas84 @scottyspecial (sic).”
The gesture and creative way of making the announcement left Ryan, 32, in tears.
He said: “When your nephew comes wrapped up and they open him dressed with a t shirt saying “Uncle Ryry, uncle Scott will you be my daddy’s best men.” #christmasiscomplete #grownmancrying (sic).”
Adam and Caroline announced they’d got engaged in June after he popped the question to the blonde beauty during a romantic holiday to Dubai.

Lee Ryan will 'never' return to Celebrity Big Brother

OHMYGOSSIP — Lee Ryan can’t think of “anything worse” than appearing on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ again.
The 33-year-old singer – who appeared on the Channel 5 programme in 2014 – has vowed “never” to go back on the forthcoming series or any other reality television shows because he is “too sensitive” and had to check into rehab after being involved in a dramatic love triangle with Casey Batchelor and Jasmine Waltz two years ago.
Speaking to New! magazine about a ‘CBB’ return, the former Blue band member said: “I promise you on my life I wouldn’t do that. I couldn’t think of anything worse.
“Everyone f**king hated me.
“I went to rehab after – there’s a reason.
“It was awful what happened to me and the hate that I got on Twitter. I’m too sensitive to be able to go through it. I think you could tell when I was in there. I’m too sensitive to do anything like that. I probably wouldn’t do anything like that again.”
This news comes after rumours spread the lothario was set to head back into the infamous house for the forthcoming special edition of the popular reality TV show ‘Gold Stars vs All Stars’.
Lee’s former band mate Antony Costa previously teased: “Never say never. He’d be mad not to. I think he’d be brilliant. He was brilliant in it.”
Meanwhile, Lee has revealed he wants to focus solely on his music career, as he has admitted people are starting to forget he was first known for his high-pitched vocals and mainly recognise him for being a reality star.
He said: “I just want to do my music. It p**ses me off when people go, ‘Do you still sing?’ I’m like, ‘That’s what I am!’ I don’t want to be known for being a reality TV star, because it’s just not where I’m from. I’m from a band that sold millions of albums and sung with people like Sir Elton John and Stevie Wonder. That’s who I am and that’s where I’m heading.”

ITV commission pampered pooch series

OHMYGOSSIP — A new six-part series focused on pampered pooches is set to air next year.
ITV have commissioned a reality TV show – set in the same format as ‘The Only Way is Essex’ and ‘The Real Housewives Of…’ franchise – based on glamorous dogs and their breeders as the cameras follow their lives, including their training, in preparation for top competitions such as Crufts at the beginning of March.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Shows like ‘Real Housewives…’ and ‘The Only Way is Essex’ are a massive success because of their great characters, drama and competition.
“Dogs and the world of breeding and competition have all those ingredients and more. We’re a nation of dog lovers, so this is tipped to be a success with soap opera-style storylines as the dogs and their breeders are followed during their daily lives.”
Filming for the series, which is yet to be given a title, is expected to kick off next month and the show is likely to hit television screens a few months after the glamorous annual international canine event.
This isn’t the first time ITV have put together a series about the weird and wonderful behaviours of dogs, as just two months ago, a three-part documentary arrived on screens based on four litters of puppies as their journey into adulthood was captured on camera.
The tear-jerking series called ‘Puppy Secrets: The First Six Months’ also saw vet Mark Evans dish out some secrets on the puppy brain and how important the first eight weeks of their lives really are as they’re born incomplete and functionally blind and deaf.
He said at the time: “There’s no pre-wiring in a puppy’s brain to allow them to understand the world we live in. They need the help from us to be able to do it. What they have to learn is the strength and power of their bite. What they’ll learn, and it’s a really important lesson, is a thing called bite inhibition, which is how hard can you bite before it hurts.”

Hollywood pays tribute to Debbie Reynolds

OHMYGOSSIP — Hollywood has paid tribute to Debbie Reynolds.
The ‘Singin’ In The Rain’ actress passed away on Wednesday (28.12.16) at the age of 84, just one day after the tragic death of her daughter Carrie Fisher, 60, and she has been praised as a “unique talent and a national treasure”.
SAG-AFTRA president Gabrielle Carteris said: “I was deeply saddened to learn of Debbie Reynold’s passing. We have lost a unique talent and a national treasure. Coming so close to the death of her daughter, Carrie Fisher, this is truly a double tragedy. Their imprint on our culture is profound and they both will live on. On behalf of the SAG-AFTRA membership, our hearts go out to their family and loved ones.”
Debra Messing, who played Debbie’s daughter in ‘Will and Grace’ tweeted: “So heartsick. Debbie went to be with Carrie. It’s such a devastating 1,2 punch. She was my “mom” for years & I loved her dearly.A legend (sic).”
She later added on Instagram: “Debbie went to be with Carrie. She always worried about her. Carrie left too soon and now they are together again. My heart is literally broken. For 8 years she was my mom. She was pure energy & light when she came on stage. She was loving, and bawdy, and playful- a consummate pro- old school and yet had the work ethic and investment in her craft of a new fiery up and comer. She was always running off to Vegas or somewhere else “on the road” to be a hoofer, to sing and dance and make people laugh. She performed 340 days out of the year. An inspiration on every level. A Legend of course, the epitome of clean cut American optimism, dancing with Gene Kelly as an equal, a warrior woman who never stopped working. A devoted mother and grandmother, and aunt and great aunt, and friend. I lost my mom a few years ago. She loved that Debbie was my TV mom. I hope they find each other and hug and kiss and my mom says, “I got you, Debbie. Carrie’s waiting for you.” RIP Bobbie Adler (sic).”
Zoe Saldana tweeted: “Today is officially a sad day. As a mother my heart goes out to Debbie Reynolds and her daughter Carrie Fisher. RIP DB and CF (sic).”
And Christina Applegate wrote: “I can’t take this. To the whole family. I am so gutted. I am so sorry (sic).”
And Larry King took to Twitter to write: “Debbie Reynolds was pure class. She was loving, talented, beautiful, unsinkable. I feel sorry for anyone who never got a chance to meet her (sic).”

Sally Lindsay would return to Coronation Street

OHMYGOSSIP — Sally Lindsay would make a return to ‘Coronation Street’.
The 43-year-old actress portrayed Shelley Unwin in the long-running soap for five years until her departure in 2006 but, although she’s not interested in going back to the cobbles anytime soon, she’s open to the idea in the distant future.
Speaking to Woman’s Own magazine, she said: “I always say never say never but at the moment, no, I love ‘Coronation Street’ and I had a wonderful time there. I don’t watch it now though, it’s like looking at your old workplace.”
But, despite the fact she’s got nothing but fond memories of her time on the show, Sally can no longer watch the programme because it’s unbelievable.
She explained: “I used to be a massive fan before but I find it very difficult to believe because I’ve been there!”
And, although she left a decade ago, Sally doesn’t think she’ll ever be able to shake off being Shelley because fans loved the pint-pulling character so much.
She said: “I get the odd person who is such a die-hard fan that you’ll never be anything else. If I won an Oscar I’d still be Shelley and I’m fine with that!”
It seems ‘Coronation Street’ is something that will always have a place in Sally’s heart as she admitted last year that she’d like to finish her career on the show.
She said at the time: “It’s (‘Coronation Street’) still one of my favourite jobs ever. I’d love to be like Betty [played by Betty Driver] and go back in my sixties and stay there until I’m 90. What a great retirement job that would be.”

Marty McKenna surprised he's not dead

OHMYGOSSIP — Marty McKenna is surprised he isn’t dead.
The ‘Geordie Shore’ hunk has admitted his diet, which consists of booze and no water, is so bad that he can’t understand why he’s not “fat as f**k” and still alive.
He explained: “I don’t know how I’m not fat as f**k or dead. I don’t know how I’m still alive. I drink one glass (of water) a week. I hate water. It’s minging. I drink three glasses of milk instead. Although sometimes I drink it out of the bottle because I can’t be bothered to pour it. I drink Irn-Bru – a few bottles of that throughout the day.”
The 22-year-old hunk tucks into greasy takeaways five times a week but is determined to start going to the gym next year because he wants to be permanently “ripped.”
He said: “I might start. I do want to start to get a little bit ripped. I do a little bit of exercise when I pull a bird, I bring her back to mine – two hours, that’s it.”
But Marty is adamant he’d never rely on cosmetic surgery to help him get the appearance he wants because he’s worried it would end up going wrong.
Speaking to Star magazine, he said: “Imagine if I had my nose done and ended up looking like Michael Jackson. Ewww! Surgery isn’t for me!”

Saw Gerrera set for a bigger role in future Star Wars movies

OHMYGOSSIP — Saw Gerrera is set to play an even bigger role in future ‘Star Wars’ movies, according to Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy.
The character is played by Forest Whitaker in the widely acclaimed ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ – and Kathleen has suggested fans will be seeing more of Saw in the upcoming spin-off movies in the sci-fi franchise.
She explained to Empire magazine: “With Saw Gerrera, we just became very intrigued with him as a character and how he fits inside this story….
“To be honest, we originally thought we were going to develop Saw into something much larger, but we couldn’t accommodate it. So he is not in the movie as much as we would like to have him in the movie, which creates the opportunity to explore his character even further in our future development.”
Forest, 55, has suggested he would relish the chance to reprise the role in the coming years.
The Oscar-winning actor explained: “I’m curious about what else they’re about to do. Because they seem to really like the character, which is great!”
Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that Felicity Jones was paid significantly more for her role in ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ than her castmates.
The 33-year-old actress was reportedly able to negotiate a seven-figure upfront sum to play Rebel fighter Jyn Erso after being nominated for a Best Actress Oscar for her performance in ‘The Theory of Everything’.
Felicity’s fee was considerably higher than the “mid-six figures” paycheques of her co-stars, who also included the likes of Diego Luna and Ben Mendehlsohn.
A source previously said: “She knows her worth.”

Liam Neeson's life lessons in film

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Neeson thinks there are “life lessons” for everyone who sees ‘A Monster Calls’.
The 64-year-old actor voices the ‘monster’ – a giant humanoid yew tree – in the upcoming film, and thinks the saga, which sees his character tell stories to Conor O’Malley (Lewis MacDougall) and help the youngster repair his troubled life, is more than just a children’s film.
He said: “The monster is there to try and teach life lessons, to imbue the idea that nothing is ever as it seems.
“And, of course, the overriding element in this story is that this boy is going to have to cope with the death of the greatest love he’ll ever have in his life, which is his mother [who has a terminal illness].
“It certainly isn’t just a children’s film. There’s life lessons in it for all of us.”
And Liam thinks fairytales are important to everyone to help them better understand life.
He added to SFX magazine: “We all need, and love, stories, you know. That’s why fairytales were written – I’m thinking in particular of Oscar Wilde’s beautiful children’s stories, that have profound lessons built into them – and they’re usually about how complex life actually is.
“I mean, the stories that the monster tells the boy, they never turn out the way you think they should turn out, because life isn’t like that.”
And the Irishman thinks it was important to retain his natural accent for the character.
He said: “I wanted to use my own accent. Because its old in itself, it’s Celtic, and I think in the audience’s imagination Irish accents give a kind of weight and an ancient quality.”

Nadia Sawalha's husband speaks out about alcohol battle

OHMYGOSSIP — Nadia Sawalha’s husband has opened up about his nightmare battle with alcoholism.
Mark Adderley and the ‘Loose Women’ star shot a candid home video, in which they discussed Mark’s struggles to stay away from alcohol, despite being sober for 12 years.
In a video filmed for Kaye Adams and Nadia’s Youtube channel, Mark said: ‘Every day is a struggle. Every day is a huge effort, to not get up literally, but a huge effort to tackle the day. The whole day is to be attacked, to be grappled with, it’s to be fought.
“It is exhausting. I always say to Nadia and the girls, ‘Look you’re all finding me irritating now, you can all walk through that door and leave me, I can’t, I have to stay in the same bloody room as me.'”
Mark – who was treated at The Priory – insisted he is determined to stay sober for his wife and children.
He said: “The most important thing they used to say in the Priory you need to need to do it for yourself, you’re not getting sober for your wife, you’re not getting sober for your children, and I’ve said this many times, I differ from that, it’s b******t.
“There’s no better reason to get sober for your wife, your children, your family, because I struggle to do it for myself because I think I could cope, I could carry on.
“So the best reason is Nadia and the kids and that’s what works for me.”
Nadia recently admitted it was love at first sight when she first clapped eyes on Mark while they were shooting a dating show together on location.
She said: “Mark was straight away. As soon as I saw my husband. He is a handsome guy as soon I saw him. He’s posh and he’s blonde and the first thing I thought was: ‘I like him, he will never like me.’ I thought he’d want one of those girls with a swinging pony tail and a tight bum and everything. It was a dating show and I was the presenter and nobody fancied the person we’d set them up with. But they all fancied my now-husband. They’d be like, ‘Oh he’s nice.’ And I’d say, ‘He is already with someone.’ He wasn’t but I just had this plan.”
