The Purge star Max Burkholder ‘didn’t appreciate’ horror as a child

OHMYGOSSIP — Max Burkholder “didn’t appreciate” horror movies when he was a child star.
The 26-year-old actor was in his early teens when he starred as Charlie Sandin in the 2013 horror film alongside Ethan Hawke and Lena Headey that follows a wealthy family who find themselves endangered by a gang of murderers but didn’t quite understand the genre at that age and would love to try it again at some point.
He told Flicerking Myth: “It was honestly a blast! I didn’t really have any appreciation of the horror genre at that age, so I’d love to run it back with something similar now that I’m a little more educated on the art form. That being said, when you get to pilot a little mini-bot and shoot blanks as part of your job when you’re 14, you’re going to be having a lot of fun.”
The ‘Ted’ star has had a varied career since he was a child, having appeared in hit TV dramas like ‘CSI’ and ‘Parenthood’ but also starred in a production of ‘columbinus’ when he was at Harvard and admitted that it is “very hard” for him to pick a favourite medium but prefers it when he he is given the “space and time” to really analyse what a character is about.
He said: “It’s honestly very hard to pick between film and theatre. TV is very fun as well but something about those two mediums and how much time you get to dedicate to each scene, each choice, is incredibly fulfilling. “Obviously, that’s on a project-by-project basis, but when you’re given space and time to really figure out what makes a scene or character tick, that’s always the most interesting for me.”

Rowan Atkinson to play Johnny English again

OHMYGOSSIP — Rowan Atkinson is to return for a fourth ‘Johnny English’ film.
The 69-year-old actor – who has previously played the titular hapless secret agent in three movies in the spy spoof franchise, the 2003 original, 2011’s ‘Johnny English Reborn’ and 2018’s ‘Johnny English Strikes Again’ – has reportedly signed a deal to play the role again, with filming set to begin later this year.
According to Screendaily, the movie will be shot in the summer in the UK and Malta, but the plot details are being kept under wraps.
Details about the project are largely unknown, but Working Titles Films will produce for the fourth time.
While promoting the third movie in the series, Rowan admitted he thought a fourth installment would be unlikely.
Speaking during a Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything), he said: “I doubt it but thank you very much for implying you’d like to see another one.
“But at the same time… never say never.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Mr. Bean actor previously explained he felt the physical comedy he is known for is “more timeless” than other forms so its popularity is enduring.
He told Digital Spy: “I suppose it’s more timeless.
“Dialogue – the way that people talk and talk to each other – does change more as the decades go by. We do talk differently to how we did 30 or 40 years ago, and certainly more differently to how we talked 100 years ago.
“Whereas visual comedy is generally about simple, human situations involving human instincts and human behaviour, and those things change far less. Also, of course, it means that you are automatically granted immunity from cultural and linguistic differences.
“But in the end, humanity shares the more visual experience than they do a verbal experience. And therefore, internationally, obviously it’s an easier thing to sell.”

Judy Craymer: Benny and Bjorn won’t approve Mamma Mia! 3

OHMYGOSSIP — Judy Craymer claims ABBA’s Bjorn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson are blocking ‘Mamma Mia! 3’.
The 66-year-old producer is keen to add another movie to the musical franchise – which features the songs of the Swedish pop superstars – but the songwriters don’t think there’s enough good material left in their back catalogue to make it work.
Judy told the Daily Starr Sunday newspaper: “A third movie is something I want to do very much. The studio wants to do it. Benny and Bjorn need a bit more persuasion.
“They’re saying, ‘There aren’t enough songs’. And I say, ‘There are enough songs and I know how they could work’. There is so much you can do with those songs.”
Judy believes she’d have no problem convincing cast members including Amanda Seyfried and Dame Julie Walters to return for a third film, following the success of the first two installments in 2008 and 2018.
She added: “The cast had a great time making the first two films. Julie said she is going to retire from acting, but the one thing she would still do is another Mamma Mia! film.
“I really think there’s big love from the people who worked on the films and also from the audiences. All the generations enjoy it.”
But the producer won’t be rushing any third film if it gets the green light.
She added: “It will take time. Nothing happens that fast. But I hope it does happen.”
The producer previously revealed that her ideas for the new film involve bringing back popular characters such as Meryl Streep’s Donna – who had died in the events of the 2018 film ‘Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again’ – and Cher’s Ruby, mother to Donna and grandmother to Sophie (Seyfried).
She told Deadline last year: “It’s in its earliest stages. I don’t want to over-egg it, but I know there’s a trilogy there.
“There is a story there, and I do think Meryl should come back – and if the script is right, she would, I think, because she really loved playing Donna.”

Roxy Shahidi has bum protection for Dancing On Ice training

OHMYGOSSIP — Roxy Shahidi has splashed out on “padded knickers” to wear during ‘Dancing On Ice’ rehearsals.
The 40-year-old actress is currently taking part in the skating competition and after she dislocated a rib while training with professional partner Sylvain Longchambon in December, she’s doing whatever she can to minimise the chances of getting hurt again.
She told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: “I got myself a pair of padded knickers so I could push myself on the ice, fall on my bum and be less scared of breaking things.
“I’ve still got quite a lot of scar tissue around the rib I dislocated and it just gets sore from time to time.
“My knee’s kind of hurting at the moment, but I’m managing it. My groin’s a little bit sore because of a jump.”
And the ‘Emmerdale’ actress admitted she isn’t the only contestant nursing aches and pains.
She added: “To be honest, we’re all the walking wounded on this show. I suppose that’s a testament to how tough it is on the ice.”
Roxy is particularly wary of injuring her 43-year-old partner.
She said: “I just try to do my best and not kill him.”
Roxy recently revealed she is thrilled to be finally taking part in the show, seven years after she was first approached about it.
She said: “I wanted to do the show nearly seven years ago, I thought it’d be fabulous, lots of sequins and big hair, but then I realised I was 12 weeks pregnant.
“I didn’t know when I originally had the meeting, so I then had to say ‘Oh look, I’m pregnant, I don’t think it’s going to be a good idea for me’.
“Then my daughter was small, and it’s a huge commitment, it’s very demanding – but I just knew for a long time it wasn’t really something that would be right for me to do.
“And then this year I got the call, ‘Do you want to pop in?’ and I was like, ‘Oh, do I?’ I’m a little bit older now and a bit more cautious.
“But after ten minutes on the ice, all my anxieties melted away.”

Richard Hammond predicts Top Gear return

OHMYGOSSIP — Richard Hammond has “no doubt” ‘Top Gear’ will be back.
The 54-year-old presenter fronted the long-running motoring show – which first aired in 1977 – from when it was rebooted after a brief break in 2002 until 2015 and following the news the BBC were cutting the programme in the wake of host Andrew ‘Freddie’ Flintoff’s horror car accident, the star is confident it won’t be gone for good.
He told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: “I have no doubt ‘Top Gear’ will come back, probably quite soon. It’s been on air before, then it’s come off and they rest it a bit and then they brought it back.
“That’ll happen again. It’s not the end. It’s a BBC brand.”
But if the show does return, Richard – who left ‘Top Gear’ along with co-hosts Jeremy Clarkson and James May to front ‘The Grand Tour’ for Prime Video – thinks it will have a “different slant”.
He added: “I think when it comes back, it’ll have a different slant. During our stewardship, it grew into what it was.
“But it wasn’t that before and it doesn’t have to be again.”
Richard’s comments come after James recently called for more motoring shows on TV – but insisted now he and his co-hosts are ending ‘The Grand Tour’, they are “too old” to host them anymore.
The 61-year-old star told The Sun newspaper’s TV Biz column: “If you wanted to make a serious, slightly more consumerish car show there’s never been a better time for it because it’s a very interesting topic.
“What is going to happen to the car, car ownership, attitudes to the car, how we use it, dispose of it, how we power it?
“It’s all interesting stuff, it’s the most interesting time in the car’s history since it was invented. So I can’t believe somewhere or other, a slightly more modern car show won’t emerge.
“But we can’t do it as we’re too old.”

Claude Littner says it’s ‘not his call’ whether he returns to The Apprentice

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘The Apprentice’ star Claude Littner says it’s “not his call” whether he returns to the boardroom.
Claude previously worked as an advisor to Lord Alan Sugar on the BBC show alongside Karren Brady, but he had to step away from his duties after sustaining injuries in a cycling accident in 2021 and he was replaced by former winner Tim Campbell.
He’s returning to ‘The Apprentice’ for the interviews stage of the reality TV contest, but won’t resume his place in the boardroom – and Claude has now admitted it’s not his decision whether he resumes his role as an advisor.
Claude made the admission during an exchange with a fan on X – formerly known as Twitter – after the follower asked him: “Forgive my naivety, have you stepped aside permanently from following candidates weekly or are you still recovering? Missing you in the show!”
The TV star then replied: “Honestly, that is not my call. I am fully recovered. Thank you.”
In a separate message, Claude confirmed he will be seen on the show during the latter stages, adding: “I will be doing the interviews”.
At the time of his departure, Claude insisted he would be paying close attention to the candidates’ antics from his sofa instead of the boardroom. He said in a statement: “Whilst I’m disappointed that I won’t be out and about covering the tasks or in boardroom for this upcoming series, I’ll most definitely be glued to the action from my sofa.”
Claude’s replacement Tim – who was the first ever winner of the business reality competition almost 17 years ago – previously admitted he was stunned when his old mentor, Lord Alan Sugar, asked him to join the show – and he didn’t believe the offer was genuine at first.
During an interview with Radio Times magazine, he recalled thinking: “Is this a prank? I thought people were going to burst in with cameras and say, ‘Got you!’ … I thought, ‘Why is he phoning?’ When he explained, I said, ‘Are you being serious?’ It was mad.”

Victoria Ekanoye is ‘cancer-free’ three years after her breast cancer diagnosis

OHMYGOSSIP — Victoria Ekanoye has declared she is “cancer-free”.
The former ‘Coronation Street’ star – who played Angie Appleton on the classic ITV soap opera from 2017 to 2019 – shared the amazing update three years after she revealed her breast cancer diagnosis.
She announced on X (Twitter) alongside a selfie with her partner Jonny Lomas and their son, Théo: “Taken the day I revealed my Breast Cancer diagnosis, 2021. Just received my blood and PET scan results, I can finally say…I’m CANCER FREE.
“Thank you to those who formed my safety net. I’m humbled to have such beautiful humans in my life. 2024 Let’s go! #WorldCancerDay. (sic)”
The 42-year-old former ‘Royals’ actress underwent a life-saving double mastectomy.
And after taking a year off, she returned to acting in 2022, as Miranda Priestley in ‘Death in Paradise’.
She went on to strip off in ‘The Real Full Monty’ to raise awareness of checking for the signs of the deadly disease.
Victoria discovered a lump in her breast while she was feeding her baby boy.
Speaking to The Mirror, she said: “Theo was six months old when I found a lump and I guess, two things for me: One thing is a lot of women and I hate that I’m saying this because a lot of women assume that any changes in your body are down to just having had a baby but it’s really important that you are still very breast and body aware because you just never know.
“I’m the ninth person in my family now to develop cancer, the fifth to develop breast cancer, I’m a patron of a cancer charity so it would’ve been really silly of me not to take my own advice.
“I do speeches at universities and conferences and all that kind of stuff and, all of a sudden, it was me. I was doing this [raising awareness] before I was diagnosed because it’s involved so much of my family. And with my mum being one of those people.”

Christopher Nolan ‘always wanted’ to work with Robert Downey Jr.

OHMYGOSSIP — Christopher Nolan “always wanted” to work with Robert Downey Jr. before casting him in ‘Oppenheimer’.
The director has admitted he was a longtime admirer of the actor before handing him a role in the atomic bomb blockbuster – which earned him a Best Supporting Actor Oscar nominations – and Nolan says he wanted Downey Jr. in the cast because of his “incredible generosity of spirit”.
During an appearance on ‘The Late Show With Stephen Colbert’, Nolan explained: “With anybody you work with, with actors … you’re looking for some kind of connection emotionally, empathetically.
“You’re looking for some kind of generosity. He [Downey Jr. ] has this incredible generosity of spirit. It means when he’s in a scene with other people he’s making sure they are all doing their best, that they are all able to bring their best to the table. He’s helping them clarify those emotional connections.”
He added of Downey Jr. : “I’ve always wanted to work with him. I’ve always seen that in his work.”
Nolan went on to reveal Downey Jr.’s portrayal of Tony Stark in the ‘Iron Man’ movies convinced him of the actor’s brilliance. The director went on: “He has such charisma as Tony Stark.
“Him playing Iron Man is one of the most consequential casting decisions that’s ever been made in the history of the movie business. I wanted to give him the opportunity to lose himself in a part, lose himself in another human being the way great actors love him.”
‘Oppenheimer’ looks set to be the toast of the Oscars after scoring 13 nominations including a Best Director nod for Nolan and a shot at the coveted Best Picture gong.
It was also a huge box office hit and Nolan says the film’s success has made him feel a lot more positive about the state of the movie industry.
He told Empire magazine: “I’ve just made a three-hour film about Robert Oppenheimer which is R-rated and half in black-and-white – and it made a billion dollars.
“Of course, I think films are doing great. The crazy thing is that it’s literally the most successful film I’ve ever made.
“I’ve been doing this for 20 years and in the United Kingdom it’s my highest-grossing film. So I feel great about the state of the movie business, based on my own experience.”

Dwayne Johnson in talks to reprise Moana role

OHMYGOSSIP — Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is reportedly in talks to reprise his role as Maui in Disney’s ‘Moana’ sequel.
The animated blockbuster – which was released in 2016 – starred the wrestler-turned actor and Auliʻi Cravalho (Moana) and a second movie was confirmed for November 27.
Although Deadline reports that the ‘Black Adam’ star, 51, is “close” to returning as the tattooed demigod, it remains unknown if Cravalho will voice the lead role again.
The publication claims she is in talks with the studio, but they are not as advanced as Dwayne’s.
Cravalho, 23, previously said that she was done with the role.
She wrote on social media in May: “I’m truly honoured to pass this baton to the next young woman of Pacific Island descent, to honour our incredible Pacific people’s cultures and communities that help inspire her story. And I look forward to all the beautiful Pacific representations to come. Mahalo.”
Disney CEO Bob Iger said in a statement this week: “‘Moana’ remains an incredibly popular.
“We can’t wait to give you more of Moana and Maui when ‘Moana 2’ comes to theaters this November.”
The project was originally set to be a TV series, but Iger was so impressed with the footage that the decision was made to go with a feature film theatrical release.
Disney added that the sequel will take fans on an “expansive new voyage with Moana, Maui and a brand-new crew of unlikely seafarers.”
The studio teased: “After receiving an unexpected call from her wayfinding ancestors, Moana must journey to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she’s ever faced.”
Music will come from duo Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear, alongside Opetaia Foa’i and Mark Mancina, who worked on the original film, with Dave Derrick Jr. set to direct.
However, Lin-Manuel Miranda – who penned classic tracks ‘How Far I’ll Go’ and ‘You’re Welcome’ for the first movie – is not set to write new songs for ‘Moana 2’.
The upcoming sequel is separate from Disney’s planned live-action remake, which will see Dwayne reprise his role as Maui.
Cravalho won’t be bringing the character to the screen in the live-action project.
She previously wrote on Instagram: “I believe it is absolutely vital that casting accurately represents the characters and stories we want to tell.
“I can’t wait to find the next actress to portray Moana’s courageous spirit, undeniable wit and emotional strength.”

Adrian Edmondson admits shooting ‘Bottom’ landed him and Rik Mayall in hospital

OHMYGOSSIP — Adrian Edmondson says his time shooting ‘Bottom’ with Rik Mayall led to them both landing in hospital.
The comic, 67, made the anarchic sitcom with Rik, who died aged 56 in 2014, in the 1990s, which featured the pair as flatmates Eddie Hitler and Richard ‘Richie’ Richard battering each other to near death in every episode.
Adrian, who also starred in ‘The Young Ones’ with Rik, says in a new documentary on the show: “A long time ago, deep in the mists of time, two blokes – I was one of them, Rik Mayall was the other – decided to make a career out of beating (up) each other.
“It was a tempestuous, an anarchic and occasionally quite a dangerous time – we both required hospital treatment on occasion – but above all, it was good fun.
“We made each other laugh and, luckily for us, we made audiences laugh.”
Adrian revisits the show in comedy channel Gold’s ‘Bottom: Exposed’, which will featured never-before-broadcast footage and a look at the relationship between Adrian and Rik.
The Gold special will be narrated by Stephen Fry, 66, with whom Rik worked on ‘Blackadder’ when he played swashbuckling ‘Lord Flashheart’.
Bottom saw Adrian play Edward ‘Eddie’ Elizabeth Hitler and starred Rik as Richard ‘Richie’ Richard as flatmates living in a squalid flat in Hammersmith, London, with the pair constantly trying to find women.
A film of the show called ‘Guest House Paradiso’ that saw them run a guest house was released in 1999.
Executive producer of the ‘Bottom’ documentary Matt Crook said: “It was such a huge show and has never had a documentary until now, so we feel incredibly privileged and excited to be given this opportunity by UKTV to work with Adrian Edmondson and Rik Mayall’s estate to celebrate one of the greatest sitcoms of all time.”
‘Bottom: Exposed’ will air on Gold later this year.

This Morning pulled off air over major technical blunder

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘This Morning’ had to be taken off air for almost 15 minutes on Friday (09.02.24) because of a technical error.
The ITV1 magazine show normally runs from 10am to 12:30pm on weekdays but upon returning from an ad break during Friday’s episode, viewers were instead presented with three short pre-recorded documentaries focusing on locations in Wales and the English Channel as well as one item titled ‘Britain’s Favourite Forests’ presented by three members of the ‘This Morning’ family.
A message printed on the screen read: “We are sorry for the disruption to your schedule. We will return to normal as soon as we can. ”
After the three short films had aired, the show finally resumed normal proceedings where hosts Dermot O’Leary and Alison Hammond were joined in the studio by Gyles Brandreth and Isla Traquair to resume the ‘Morning View’ segment of the show.
Alison explained: “Welcome back to ‘This Morning’. We do apologise, we’ve been having a few gremlins in the system and we’re sorting it, aren’t we?”
Dermot added: “Absolutely. But three lovely films to watch while we were at it, Josie Gibson, Megan McCubbin and then Julia Bradbury. It’s almost like Gyes went backstage and fiddled with a couple of buttons so we could all have a lovely lie-down!”
Former politician Gyles, 75, is a regular contributor on the programme and the ‘Celebrity Gogglebox’ star is often seen discussing current affairs and has even recently launched the viewer phone-in game ‘Beat the Brandreth’ in which he goes head-to-head with a member of the public with a series of questions, giving them the chance to win £500.
But Gyles – who has been married to Michèle Brown since 1973 – joked that whenever he does appear on the show, his wife puts the television on mute.
He said: “Well, I tell you, when I am on, my wife turns the sound down so she wouldn’t have missed it!”
Former ‘Big Brother’ star Alison added: “So she’s turning it back up now? I love live TV!”

Kate Garraway declares ‘life has to start’ in wake of husband’s death

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Garraway has declared her “life has to start” again in the wake of her husband Derek Draper’s death.
The ‘Good Morning Britain’s co-host, 56, is back at work on the flagship ITV breakfast show a week after the funeral of her political lobbyist partner Derek, who was laid to rest on 2 February after he lost his battle with the devastating effects of coronavirus he first contracted in March 2020.
While wearing a black jumper, she said on the show her “Life has to start” in a video call.
And when she was back at her desk in the studio on Thursday (08.02.24) she told her fellow presenter Ben Shephard, 49: “It’s odd. I feel very weird. I got some hugs backstage but I said, ‘Nobody be nice to me.’
“|I keep saying, ‘Just treat me normally.’”
Kate also described her shock at being called a widow for the first time when a deliveryman left a parcel at the North London home she used to share with Derek.
She added: “Do you know, the other day somebody called me a widow.
“It was an Amazon delivery person who said, ‘So sorry for your loss now you’re a widow.’
“I suddenly realised what everyone goes through. Every single moment is something new and we have all just got to go through it.”
ITV presenter Andi Peters, 53, told Kate: “It’s an absolute pleasure to see you back behind that desk.”
And ‘GMB’ entertainment reporter Richard Arnold, 54, got laughs when he told how he was covered in champagne at Derek’s funeral.
He added: “This steward who was holding a tray of champagne, six glasses, just bumped straight into me.
“I was drenched from head to toe. When I got home to look after my mum she said, ‘Had a drink?.’”
Derek – who had children Darcey, 17, and Billy, 14, with Kate – died on 3 January, and was among the first in the UK to fall seriously ill with Covid.
He spent 13 months in hospitals, making him Britain’s longest suffering in-patient with the condition.

Sarah Jayne Dunn is almost sure she knows who complained to Hollyoaks bosses about her OnlyFans

OHMYGOSSIP — Sarah Jayne Dunn thinks she knows who complained to ‘Hollyoaks’ bosses about her OnlyFans page.
The 42-year-old star had played the role of Mandy Richardson in the Channel 4 soap opera for 25 years when she decided to open an account on the adults-only subscription service which prompted bosses to offer her an ultimatum of keeping the page or leaving the show.
Sarah Jayne “never doubted” her decision to stick with OnlyFans and alleged that actors were forced to sign new contracts vowing not to sell racy pictures of themselves but claimed she is almost certain which of her co-stars made the complaint about her business venture in the first place.
She told The Sun: “Lots of people have reached out for advice on doing what I have done. Lots of people are curious and lots of people want to know what it is and how it works. I know that what happened with all of the soaps is that [actors] had to all sign a new copy of the contract, saying that they wouldn’t do it, that they couldn’t do it.
“Everyone would have left if they didn’t. I think people are curious but people can’t take that step. I never doubted my decision once I made it — the complete opposite actually. I’ve got fire in my belly.
“Apparently there is one person who complained. I think I know who that is now, I have my suspicions for sure.”
The former soap star – who has been married to Jonathan Smith since 2018 and has a son with him – claimed that the set of ‘Hollyoaks’ was like “any other workplace” in that she didn’t get on with absolutely everybody but that is a normal part of any job.
She said: “It was like any workplace — you get on with most people, but there will be a couple that you don’t.
“You can’t please everybody and you’re not going to get on with everyone. I think a lot of that boils down to their own insecurities and jealousies.
When Sarah was forced to leave ‘Hollyoaks’, bosses claimed that the adult nature of OnlyFans was not appropriate for their teenage audience but she has insisted that she is not creating any sort of content that is any more racy than when she appeared in lads’ magazines and on calendars for the show.
She said: ““I am not doing anything different to what I used to be doing.
“When I first joined OnlyFans, me and my husband had a conversation about what my limitations and boundaries were.
“I know where I am at and I am happy with the content that I do.
“I always compare it to the lads’ mags of the Nineties and Noughties — Maxim and FHM.
“I feel really comfortable with that and I don’t feel the need to push that boundary any further.
“What I find is when I get new followers who are expecting more provocative content I am very straight with people and go, ‘I don’t do that’.
“It is actually really respectful — unlike on other platforms.”

‘It’s good for the ego’: Jeffrey Wright is happy to play supporting characters

OHMYGOSSIP — Jeffrey Wright finds it “healthy” to play supporting roles.
The 58-year-old star has had smaller parts in James Bond and ‘The Batman’ and finds it “good for the ego” to blend into the background on a major blockbuster.
Speaking to the i newspaper, Jeffrey said: “Yeah, I don’t always need to be the lead in a film. I think it’s healthy to play supporting roles, too. It’s good for the ego.”
However, Jeffrey does have a leading role as the frustrated writer and professor Dr. Thelonious ‘Monk’ Ellison in the movie ‘American Fiction’ and praised the studio’s promotion of the picture for helping him land a nomination for the Best Actor Oscar.
He explained: “I’ve never had that in my career before. Never. These awards are not a reflection necessarily of the quality of work. There are so many wonderful performances that go unrecognised.”
The ‘Asteroid City’ star has been acting for more than 30 years and says he has “no complaints” about his career despite only earning Academy Award recognition with his latest role.
Jeffrey said: “I make choices that are more creative sometimes, more pragmatic others, relative to my responsibilities to my family.
“But in the last few years I’ve enjoyed almost everything that I’ve worked on. Everything has its own value for me. I have no complaints about my career.”
He added: “I’m sitting here in lovely confines. Just been nominated for an Oscar. It’s all good.”
Wright starred as 007’s friend Felix Leiter in three Bond movies and revealed that he would consider a return to the famous franchise despite being killed off in the 2021 film ‘No Time To Die’.
Asked if he would come back for a Bond reboot, Jeffrey told Deadline: “Yeah. Or if there’s a ‘ghost of Felix Leiter’ moment, then I’ll certainly consider doing that.
“But at the same time, I had a great run on those films, together with Daniel (Craig), Barbara Broccoli and Michael Wilson and I’m very happy to let that be.”

Channing Tatum starring in true crime film Roofman

OHMYGOSSIP — Channing Tatum is to star in ‘Roofman’.
The 43-year-old actor has boarded the cast of the true crime story that is being directed by Derek Cianfrance.
The picture is based on the remarkable story of Jeffrey Manchester, an eccentric robber who broke into more than 60 McDonald’s restaurants overnight via their roofs before emptying the cash registers in the morning after herding staff into freezers.
He became known as the ‘Rooftop Robber’ or ‘Roofman’ and was known for his gentle demeanour and rarely being violent.
Manchester was convicted and imprisoned in 2000 but escaped from jail and evaded capture for months by holing up in a Toys ‘R Us and Circuit City store in North Carolina.
He survived on baby food and would ride bicycles around the toy store for exercise before being recaptured and sent back to prison after leaving his fingerprints on a DVD in the electronics store.
Cianfrance and Kirt Gunn have written the script for the movie, which is being produced by Dylan Sellers and Chris Parker through their Limelight banner along with the ‘Blue Valentine’ filmmaker’s regular collaborators Jamie Patricof and Lynette Howell Taylor.
Limelight has developed the project and will fully finance the film.
Meanwhile, Channing recently expressed fear about the impact that streaming will have on the film industry and the quality of storytelling.
The ‘Magic Mike’ star told Forbes: “The movie industry is just changing so much. It’s a different era now and it’s just getting crazier with the streamers. I do fear a little for the storytelling of it all. I think there will be less good storytelling and a lot more product out there.”

Loose Women star Kaye Adams reveals personal struggle to weigh herself: ‘Am I avoiding the truth?’

OHMYGOSSIP — Kaye Adams struggles to weigh herself.
The 61-year-old journalist – who is best known as a long-running anchor on the ITV1 chat show ‘Loose Women’ – thinks she is trying to “avoid the truth” by never getting on the scales and was left mortified during a recent trip to A+E when a doctor needed to find out her weight for medication.
Speaking on her ‘How To Be 60’ podcast, she told co-host Karen McKenzie: “It’s a funny thing…I’ve got scales in my bathroom and all I need to do is stand on them and see what weight I am, decide if I need to lose a couple of pounds. But I look at them in the morning and I’m like a bullfighter with them. They look at me and I look at them and I just leave. What am I avoiding? The truth? I don’t want those numbers to spring up and tell me the truth. Isn’t it odd?
“You know last week I was telling you I thought I had a brain tumour that turned out to be ear wax?
“Well, I was in A+E and this nice young doctor was treating me for sudden hearing loss and he said he would put me on steroids in case I had something dreadful. It was the weekend. So he said ‘Can you just pop on the scales?’ But the scales were in the corridor.
“They needed to know how much to give me because it’s quite precise.
“I’m standing there thinking ‘F***, I do not want to go on scales in the corridor.’ I had a big jacket on and it was all I could do not to strip off entirely!”
The former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ contestant recently explained she had had the most traumatic 48 hours” in the middle of January when the hearing in one ear suddenly vanished just moments before she went on live television and soon discovered that it a buildup of wax was the root cause.
Speaking in a video posted to Instagram, she said: “I kind of got through the programme, got home couldn’t hear anything. I’m looking up online..what could it be? And it said to go to A+E. So, the next day I go to A+E in Glasgow. They were amazing, absolutely amazing. Anita, the nurse, thank you. We discovered we had the same birthday, except she’s a year younger than me.
