OHMYGOSSIP — James Jordan insists Anton Du Beke has a “right” to be the new ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ judge.
The outspoken professional dancer – who quit the show in 2014 – doesn’t think BBC bosses should be considering anyone else as a replacement for Len Goodman because his fellow pro is “more qualified” to sit on the panel than even current judges Craig Revel Horwood, Bruno Tonioli and Darcey Bussell are.
Asked who should replace Len, he said: “Anton Du Beke, no question, he’s the perfect person. They’ll really mess it up if they don’t have him. They’ve messed up a few times with decisions they have made, but that’s one decision that should be very clear. Anton has been there since the beginning and he’s more qualified than the three other judges on the panel. Fact.
“He has more right to be there, he’s funny and people love him.”
But James admitted he would also “love” the judging role – though he thinks it’s unlikely he’d get it.
Asked if he wants the job, he said: “I would love to. I’d be really good but the BBC aren’t calling me about it.”
Whoever gets the job, James will be hoping the panel mark much more fairly next year, having repeatedly accused them of being bias towards eventual winner Ore Oduba ahead of show favourite Danny Mac, who he believes is the best celebrity dancer to ever appear on the show.
He told OK! magazine: “I didn’t [expect Danny to win]. I think the judges were marking unfairly. Brendan Cole wrote an article about how unfair the marking was. As a professional who has been dancing for over 30 years, it’s very clear who is better than someone else. It was frustrating.
“In my opinion, the judges should all be ashamed of themselves, they were wrong.
“When somebody is given 10s after loads of mistakes, it’s ridiculous. Danny should have been the top of the leader board.”
His wife, fellow professional dancer Ola Jordan, added: “It makes a joke and a mockery of the show.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jody Latham has reportedly quit ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ just hours before it is due to air.
The ‘Shameless’ star – who has had a rocky time of it recently after he was cleared of harassing former ‘Apprentice’ contestant Adam Hosker – was mysteriously absent from the rumoured line up, which has been unveiled just hours before the launch.
A source told The Sun Online: “He told other housemates he was pulling out a couple of days ago.”
It comes after a source previously revealed Jody, 35, was looking forward to joining the 19th series of the show.
They shared at the time: “Jody hasn’t had it easy this year and after a series of dramas he wants people to remember him for good things again. He was one of the nation’s most promising actors during his time on Shameless and he’s hoping he’ll be able to recreate that success again after going on Celebrity Big Brother.”
Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have made a list of “diva demands” ahead of their stint on the show.
A source shared: “We’re hours away from launch and now Speidi have thrown a spanner in the works. They’re clearly up to their old tricks again.”
The couple – who have been dating for eight years – are said to have demanded they get fish and chips whenever they want and are threatening to not take part in the launch if they are not given their wishes.
The ‘All Star vs New Stars’ special – which is rumoured to be featuring the likes of Calum Best, Coleen Nolan, Kim Kardashian West’s ex-boyfriend Ray-J and Khloe Kardashian’s best friend Malika Haqq – is reportedly set to be the “raunchiest” yet.
A source shared: “The production team had a meeting about changes they wanted to make to the house. Even the smallest change can make a big difference in how the series will develop.
“One of the new things this series is that the beds will be smaller. It’s a clear indication that they want to see the housemates get close and encourage intimacy. There’s a lot of potential for bedroom action this series. It could be the sexiest yet. They will be getting close to each other right from the start.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Charlotte Crosby has branded 2016 the “most traumatic year of her life.”
The former ‘Geordie Shore’ beauty never wants to relive last year after she suffered an ectopic pregnancy, split from her on/off boyfriend Gary ‘Gaz’ Beadle on bitter terms and turned her back on the boozy MTV show for good, but believes the bad times she experienced have been a “learning curve” and have made her “stronger.”
She said of last year: “It’s been a learning curve – so much has happened that it’s made me stronger. I’ve learnt that I can cope with so much more than I ever thought I could. It’s made me realise I should never have to put up with crap, and it’s made me know my own worth. It was definitely the most traumatic year of my life so far.”
Her heartbreaking split from Gaz has made her re-evaluate her choices in men and she has warned girls that they shouldn’t be “too nice” to guys when they first start dating.
She told heat magazine: “Yeah, just be a b****! I’m joking. Don’t be too nice, too soon. If they make time for you to be in their life that’s a sign of a good person. If they send you flowers … Oh, no that’s not true – Gary once sent me flowers. OK, I think them really prioritising you is one of the main signs. If, on a Monday, they’re already planning the weekend with you, that’s a sign that someone wants you to be around.”
Charlotte recently sparked rumours she was dating Stephen Bear after they were spotted getting up close and personal but she’s adamant they’re just “friends.”
She said of her and the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ winner: “We’re just very good friends.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sinitta will host a new segment on ‘Lorraine’ from January 4.
The ‘So Macho’ hitmaker will front her own miniseries called ‘Sinitta’s Celebrity Island’ on the ITV breakfast show about the beautiful Caribbean island of Barbados.
Speaking about the show, Sinitta said: “I have been coming to Barbados for many years. It was my pleasure to be able to make this new exclusive series for Lorraine to showcase this gorgeous island and share some of my paradise.”
The 53-year-old star will give viewers an exclusive peek of the glamorous beaches, homes and venues favoured by the rich and famous including Coleen and Wayne Rooney, Louise and Jamie Redknapp, Will Smith, Mark Wahlberg and Rihanna.
With its beautiful weather, golden sands and crystal clear seas, it’s hardly surprising that Barbados has proved such a huge hit with celebrities around the world.
One episode will see Sinitta show viewers around footballer Wayne’s villa and penthouse suite at One Sandy Lane, and another will see Sinitta give a flavour of how the A-listers spend their days – ranging from sitting on the beach to activities like sailing on a Catamaran and jet skiing.
In addition to this, Sinitta will visit all the places the celebrities dine and have a spot of retail therapy at Lime Grove.
Sinitta certainly knows the ropes when it comes to Barbados as she’s used to hanging out at her close friend Simon Cowell’s mansion in previous years when she helped him pick his contestants for ‘The X Factor’.

OHMYGOSSIP — Kym Marsh is buying a house with her boyfriend.
The ‘Coronation Street’ star is planning to take her relationship with fitness instructor Matt Baker to the next level by having joint ownership of a property in Cheshire.
She explained: “Matt and I are buying a house together – that’s a big commitment to each other. It’s a big deal to us. We don’t feel like we’ve rushed into anything and we’re taken everything quite slowly, really. I think we’ve done that on purpose.
“We both feel that buying a home together is the next step – it’s exciting. Matt’s got his own place which he’s renovating and then he’s going to sell it. But this is the first time he’s bought a place with a partner. We’re hoping to find somewhere that’s halfway between my parents and his mum and grandparents. We both work in Manchester. I want to be closer to my mum and dad because they haven’t been too well lately.”
The couple – who have been together for two years – will need a big house as they want to have enough rooms for Kim’s children David, 21, Emily, 18, and Polly, five – her kids from two previous relationships – and would like to put her own “stamp” on her place.
Speaking to OK! magazine, she said: “I want to get a place that we can do some work on. Nothing ground-breaking but it would be nice to put our own stamp on the place. Every home I’ve owned in the past has been ready to move in. We want somewhere liveable, though, because of Polly. We’d want a house where we could git the kitchen.”
And, although owning a house together is quite a big step, Kym doesn’t want to get married any time soon because she’s happy with how things are between them.
Kym, 40, said: “Buying a house together is a big enough commitment. Anything like an engagement or marriage isn’t something we’ve talked about at present.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Chanelle Hayes’ extreme weight gain has made her temporary infertile.
The 29-year-old TV personality – who has bulged to a size 18 – would love nothing more than to give her six-year-old son Blakely a little sibling but has been told she won’t be able to fall pregnant naturally until she’s dropped a few dress sizes because her love for greasy grub and sugary snacks has messed up her menstrual cycle.
Speaking on ‘This Morning’ on Tuesday (03.01.17), she said: “I want to have more children – not right now obviously because it’s basically impossible – but it’s something I want. It’s absolutely terrifying. I think because I’ve been so extreme with the way I’ve been doing things, when I do put weight on, it goes on a lot quicker.”
And it’s not just her periods she wants to get back on track as the brunette beauty has been warned by doctors that she won’t be able to have the life-changing surgery on her back until she’s overhauled her diet and got herself back into the gym.
She explained: “They did just say you’re back’s never going to get better. I need an operation on it but they said: ‘We’re not going to do anything on it to your back until you’ve proved that you can lose weight.”
Chanelle was also told she’s on cusp of Type 2 diabetes – a lifelong condition that causes a person’s blood sugar level to become too high – and doctors will continue to monitor her waistline and symptoms until she’s managed to lose weight.
She said: “They’ve kind of said if you get any tingling in your limbs or lower limbs and stuff like that. They are keeping an eye on things. They want to do measurements.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have thrown ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ into chaos after they made a series of “diva demands” just days before the show’s launch.
The reality TV couple – who first appeared on the programme in 2013 – are just hours away from entering the infamous abode as part of the ‘all star’ line up but bosses have been left in a panic after they laid down some terms and conditions at the last minute.
A source told The Daily Star newspaper: “We’re hours away from launch and now Speidi have thrown a spanner in the works. They’re clearly up to their old tricks again.”
The showbiz pair – who have been together for eight years – have reportedly demanded that bosses dish them out fish and chips as and when they request it inside the house.
And if the producers don’t agree to providing the housemates with greasy grub, Heidi and Spencer have claimed they won’t take part in the launch tonight (03.01.17).

OHMYGOSSIP — Skating legend Christopher Dean thought he was going to die two years ago.
The former ‘Dancing on Ice’ coach – who is one half of the world-famous skating duo Torvill and Dean with his partner Jayne Torvill – spent two weeks thinking he may not live to see his children Jack, 18, and Sam, 16, grow up after doctors discovered a 2cm growth on his colon and demanded he have a biopsy as soon as possible.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror newspaper, he said: “I had not long finished the final series of ‘Dancing on Ice’ in 2014 when I started to get bad stomach pains. In fact, they were agonising. Until that point, the only thing that had been wrong with me was injuries I had incurred from skating.
“Luckily, I was due to have a routine medical check-up and it involved a colonoscopy. When the results came back, they showed I had a 2cm growth, what is known as a polyp, on my colon.
“I had never heard about polyps but my doctor explained they are growths on the inside lining of the colon and he said a biopsy was needed to ­establish if it was cancerous or not. I was told about the various types of polyps – hyperplastic and inflammatory polyps do not carry a risk of developing into cancer, but my doctor was convinced I had a adenoma or adenomatous polyp. Considered pre-cancerous, if left alone they can turn into colon cancer.
“I found myself preparing for the fact I might have a life-changing illness. For two weeks, I thought I might need a serious operation that would have involved taking away a good chunk of my stomach. It was the longest two weeks of my life not knowing if I was going to live or die – it was a scary prospect being faced with my own mortality.”
However, the 58-year-old ice skater was later given the all-clear when his results came back to confirm the polyp was benign and didn’t need to be removed, but the doctors would like to monitor it every five years.
Christopher – who is married to Karen Barber – explained: “Luckily, in the end the biopsy results came back and the polyp was benign and I didn’t need to have them removed. I can’t tell you the relief I felt and it really did help me put things into perspective about the previous skating injuries I had incurred. I have been told that I need to have a check-up every five years. But the body is an amazing tool and it strives to repair itself as much as it can.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jacqueline Jossa and Dan Osborne will get married this year.
The ‘EastEnders’ star and the former ‘Only Way is Essex’ hunk – who have 23-month-old daughter Ella together – have confirmed they’re planning to get hitched at some point in 2017 after the 24-year-old beauty uploaded a picture online on Monday (02.01.16) which read: “I Can’t Keep Calm, I’m Getting Married This Year!! (sic)”
The pair – who got engaged in June 2015 after they met at an awards ceremony in 2013 – had initially set a date for their wedding earlier last year but they were forced to postpone their nuptials because they ran out of time due to their busy schedules.
Dan said recently: “I don’t know how much I can say. It’s getting exciting, we’re getting bits done. We’ve got a wedding planner which we need!”
And insisting that his wife-to-be has specific ideas for their big day, he previously said: “Jacqueline wants a huge, fairytale wedding day and we were finding it hard to find a venue that lived up to her ideas.”
Jacqueline added: “I want our wedding to be a real event for people, so having it abroad would be like a holiday for everyone. I do love the idea of getting married, here, though especially as I want a big ceremony.”
Although they haven’t had much time to plan their big day, Jacqueline is adamant she wants it to follow a pastel-coloured theme.
She said: “We knew from the start exactly what sort of day we want. We want a nice formal meal followed by a big party with fun food stands.
“Our colour scheme is going to be pastel colours so I’ve already started looking at bridesmaid dresses, although at the moment I can’t find anything I like.
“I think I’m going to be worse with the bridesmaid dresses than my own – I’m so fussy.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Bradley Wiggins is set to compete in ‘The Jump’.
The 36-year-old Olympian and former professional cyclist – who announced he was retiring from the sport last week – has confirmed he will take place in Channel 4’s winter sports competition this year and is eager to go head to head with other athletes such as former England rugby captain Jason Robinson and Olympic gymnast Louis Smith.
Speaking in a statement about the show, Bradley said: “Skiing is a big passion of mine, it was a mix of that and the other committed names this year that made me want to sign up.
“From [rugby player] Jason Robinson and [footballer] Robbie Fowler to Olympians Louis Smith and Jade Jones, these guys have excelled in the sporting arena and I have a lot of respect for them, they will be so competitive.”
Whilst training for the games is already underway, Bradley has revealed he already has his sights on winning gold and being crowned champion.
Bradley – who was the first Briton to win the Tour de France in 2012 – said: “Major retiring Olympians such as Sir Steve Redgrave have also trodden this path, I see this as a sporting challenge and want to go out there and win it.
“Just don’t call me a celebrity.”
Although Bradley can’t wait to get stuck in, he is no doubt riddled with nerves as last year’s show was responsible for a number of celebrities experiencing life-changing injuries, which saw gymnast Beth Tweddle break her back, ‘Made in Chelsea’ star Mark-Francis Vandelli fracture his ankle and Rebecca Adlington dislocate her shoulder in last year’s series.
Bradley, Jason and Louis are also set to go up against ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ star Lydia Bright, Vogue Williams, Josie Gibson, former ‘Made in Chelsea’ lothario Spencer Matthews, Caprice Bourret, Mark Dolan, Gareth Thomas, Paralympic cyclist Kadeena Cox, Emma Parker-Bowles, Jade Jones and Robbie Fowler.

OHMYGOSSIP — Michelle Keegan says her husband Mark Wright isn’t “bothered” about her on-screen sex scenes.
The 29-year-old actress has had her fair share of steamy romances in her television roles – having filmed a saucy clip for ITV comedy ‘Plebs’, as well as getting raunchy for BBC war drama ‘Our Girl’ – but insists her reality star husband Mark doesn’t mind her stripping her clothes off as he’s more interested in the “story”.
When asked by Heat magazine if Mark is concerned by the risqué scenes, Michelle said: “No, he’s not really bothered.
“We talk about roles I get offered, but he’s more interested in the stories as a whole.”
And Mark, 29, has nothing to fear when it comes to his wife’s on-screen antics, as Michelle admitted she found her first sex scene for ‘Plebs’ to be very underwhelming.
Asked about her time on the show, the brunette beauty said: “Oh yeah. That was with Joel Fry and it was the first time we’d met.
“Talk about being thrown in the deep end! I was really anxious about it, but once it was over, I was like, “Is that it?”
“It was no big deal in the end. We just had a laugh.”
It isn’t the first time Michelle has spoken about the former ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ star’s relaxed approach to her romance scenes, as she previously said he has no problem with her kissing scenes.
She said at the time: “I’ve been with Mark for four years now so he’s seen me kiss a lot of men on screen. He knows it’s a job and that it’s in the script.
“It is a little bit awkward for me watching that scene back. But I’d feel a lot more awkward if I was watching it with my dad. I’d be cringing. My parents are going to see it when it airs but at least I won’t be in the room with them.”
