Casey Batchelor to return to Celebrity Big Brother?

OHMYGOSSIP — Casey Batchelor is determined to return to ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ to “confront” Jasmine Waltz after she was caught in a love triangle with Lee Ryan in 2014.
The 32-year-old television personality appeared on the reality show three years ago alongside the former Blue singer and the American model, and sources now say she intends to head back in this year for the All Stars vs New Stars series – which kicked off on Tuesday (03.01.17) and saw Jasmine head back inside the infamous house – in order to settle their dispute once and for all.
A source told The Sun Online: “She’s aware of how horrible the house can be. There are extreme personalities in there like Heidi and Spencer, and the show can make you or break you.
“But Casey’s a nice girl with nothing to hide. She’s up for going in there to confront Jasmine and even patch things up.”
Drama between the two girls started when Casey struck up an in-house romance with Lee, 33, before he later decided to ditch her in favour of the 36-year-old model.
The source added: “She wants the chance to show her true personality and prove she’s not the heartbroken mess she was during the love triangle with Lee and Jasmine.
“She’s often admitted that if it wasn’t for Lee, she and Jasmine would have probably been good friends.”
But patching things up between the pair might not be so easy, as Casey recently slammed the brunette beauty when she appeared on spin-off show ‘Big Brother’s Bit on the Side’.
When show host Rylan Clark-Neal asked her how she felt about Jasmine’s re-entry into the house, she joked: “People keep asking me what I think about her being back: You can’t polish a turd.”
At the time of writing, Casey’s involvement in the 2017 series of the show has not yet been confirmed.

Carrie Fisher 'loved' her Rogue One: A Star Wars story cameo

OHMYGOSSIP — Carrie Fisher “loved” her cameo appearance in ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’.
The iconic actress – who passed away last month at the age of 60 after falling ill on a flight from London to Los Angeles – made an appearance in the recent ‘Star Wars’ spin off movie as her character Princess Leia, using digital actors to bring back the same look that she had in the 1977 original.
Whilst Carrie never got the chance to see the recently released movie in full, she did manage to catch the scene she was in and reportedly “loved it”.
Lucasfilm’s chief creative officer John Knoll told ABC News: “She was involved in the process and, you know, she saw the final result and she loved it.
“She got to see the scene. [Kathleen Kennedy, president of Lucasfilm] showed it to her. So, I got a call afterwards from Kathy saying, ‘Well, Carrie loved it.'”
Carrie – who was 19 at the time of filming the first ‘Star Wars’ movie – had her original image recreated for the movie using lifelike computer animation.
John added: “I think it’s a really good match to what she looked like in ‘Episode IV.’ We had really good scans of her and … we matched a couple of frames very exactly with our CG model and then sort of bounced back and forth between our render and the archival frame.”
And it wasn’t just Princess Leia who was brought into the future from 40 years ago, as Grand Moff Tarkin – played by the late Peter Cushing – was also featured in the movie.
John said of the decision to include Peter’s image: “For Tarkin, it’s because he’s such an important part of ‘Episode IV’ and the Death Star program. And given that this movie is, you know, about the threat of the Death Star, what it represents, and then how the rebellion responds to that threat. I thought it was important that Tarkin be part of this.”

The 36-year-old actress – who plays the role as The Barden Bella’s vocalist Patricia, who nicknames herself Fat Amy in the movie – has revealed her and her fellow co-stars including Anna Kendrick and Brittany Snow have joined forces to shoot the follow-up to the comedy.
The Australian star revealed the news on her Instagram account with a picture of her and the cast all posing with three fingers up, which she captioned: “#PP3 #Bellas Day One Pitches x (sic).”
And Kendrick, 31, who plays the role of Beca Mitchell in the production, has also shared the same photograph on her social media page.
She wrote: “Team. (sic).”
And Brittany Snow – who plays Chloe Beale in the franchise – has revealed the third instalment of ‘Pitch Perfect’ is “just around the corner”.
Alongside an image of the blonde beauty with a few of the other Bella’s including Elizabeth Banks – who acts the role of commentator or the ICCAs Gail Abernathy-McKadden and co-produces the production – she wrote: “#PP3 is just around the Corner (sic).”
And it is believed Ruby Rose is set to star in the sequel, which is set for release in December this year.
However, Skyler Astin – who played the role of Anna Kendrick’s on screen boyfriend and lead singer of the acapella group The Trebles, Jesse Swanson – has revealed him and the all-male vocal group won’t feature in ‘Pitch Perfect 3’, despite appearing in both ‘Pitch Perfect’ and ‘Pitch Perfect 2’.
He previously tweeted: “Yes. As of now, the Trebles and I won’t be in the third Pitch Perfect movie. They seem to be taking the story in a different direction (sic).”

Davina McCall's husband doesn't want her to do Strictly Come Dancing

OHMYGOSSIP — Davina McCall’s husband doesn’t want her to do ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 49-year-old presenter has admitted she turns down the BBC One ballroom and latin show each year, because she doesn’t think her husband Matthew Robertson would like to see her getting up close and personal with a professional dancer in front of the nation.
Speaking to new! magazine, she said: “I get asked to do it (‘Strictly…’) every year and I’d love to, but I couldn’t because I know how hard those contestants have to work.
“You have to rehearse all week and film all weekend, and it’s brutal on family life.”
And ‘The Jump’ host thinks she’d feel absolutely the same if her husband, with whom she has children Holly, 15, Tilly 13, and 10-year-old son Chester, was asked to compete because she’s convinced they’d end up falling victim to the ‘Strictly…’ curse, which has seen several celebrities and professional dancers form relationships.
She explained: “Matthew would not like me being with all those sexy men in their tight trouser with their pert bottoms either. Not on your nelly. I’m not sure if I would like it if Matthew did it either. The show has got quite an intense track record. Every season something happens with someone. Marriage does not appear to be an obstacle.”

Marnie Simpson still speaks to Lewis Bloor

OHMYGOSSIP — Marnie Simpson still speaks to her ex-boyfriend Lewis Bloor “everyday.”
The couple – who met in the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house last summer – called time on their turbulent relationship a few days ago following just six months of dating because they couldn’t handle the distance between them, but it seems it won’t be long before things are back on between them because they’re still in contact with one another.
Speaking to MTV for the first time since their split, she said: “It’s just so hard because we live so far away from each other. We both care about each other so much and it didn’t end on bad terms. We’re still speaking every day and we’re trying to come to an agreement on what’s best to do, but it’s just so tough being in the public eye. There’s nothing else I can really say – I just don’t know.”
Marnie hinted that she and Lewis had gone their separate ways last week when she took to Twitter to announce that she was seeing the New Year in as a “single” lady.
She said: “‘Shout out to all the girls starting the new year with a break up. Yeah, ditto.”
The split no doubt came as a shock to fans as the now-former couple were spotted looking very loved up just four days earlier when they attended the gym together.
Marnie – who lives in Newcastle – was even thinking about buying a house in Essex so that she could be closer to Lewis on a daily basis and the English capital for work.
It seems she’s doing all she can to makeover her life at the moment as the 24-year-old reality TV star wants to get the tattoo she got done in 2015 as a tribute to her fiancé Ricky Rayment, whom she split from four months into their engagement, removed.
Taking to her Twitter account, she said of the ‘R’ and heart inking she got done for the former ‘TOWIE’ hunk: “I need somewhere good that does laser hair removal and tattoo removal in london or Newcastle ? Does anyone have any suggestions ? (sic)”

Coleen Nolan's son doesn't think her marriage will survive

OHMYGOSSIP — Coleen Nolan’s eldest son doesn’t think her marriage with his step-father will work out.
The ‘Loose Women’ panellist has just entered the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house as she’s hoping time away from her husband Ray Fensome will help repair their fragile romance, but her son Shane Jr. – her child with Shane Richie – isn’t convinced the distance will do either of them very good and may end up destroying their relationship for good if she starts sharing details about their love life on TV.
Speaking on the lunchtime show on Thursday (05.01.17), he said: “It’s never nice seeing a parent cry, especially my mum. She’s like my best friend, it’s heartbreaking. I’ve seen her cry no more than five times… I think she hates crying in front of her children. She’s never done it in all the break ups, and arguments with Ray. At the minute it [their marriage] doesn’t look great, does it.”
But Shane, 28, is hoping his mother can make amends with Ray, whom she married in 2007 and has 16-year-old daughter Ciara with, because he’s always been a “great friend and stepdad” to him.
He also thinks Ray may benefit from undergoing therapy – like his mum recently did on national television – because he’s so shy and tends to bottle things up until they become too much for him.
Although Shane can’t bear to see his mother argue with Ray, he’s determined to do all he can to support her and has recently changed his surname from Richie back to Nolan for her.
Coleen was reduced to tears on television on Wednesday (04.01.17) in the show ‘In Therapy’, whichh was filmed before she entered the famous abode, as she opened up about her marital woes.
Speaking on the Channel 5 show, she said: “I don’t want it to fail again.
“I really love him but I always feel like I’m having a go at him … That’s horrible.”
Hinting that her relationship with the musician is over, the 51-year-old former pop star said she would be able to “get over it” if they do go their separate ways because she wouldn’t want to be with someone if they weren’t “happy”.
Wiping her tears away, Coleen admitted: “I can’t bear the thought of someone staying with me if they’re not happy – [if he leaves] I’ll get over it. I’ve never really felt good enough for someone … I know doesn’t fancy me … Oh my God I’m crying, I hate crying.”
Coleen also has 24-year-old son Jake Roche with her first husband Shane.

Kate Beckinsale is super at stunts

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Beckinsale is expected to do most of her own stunts on the ‘Underworld’ films now she’s an action veteran.
The British actress reprises her role as Death Dealer Selene for a fifth time in action/horror movie ‘Underworld: Blood Wars’ and she admits the crew and director Anna Foerster pushed her to her physical limits when it came to the fighting scenes.
In an interview with Collider.com, she shared: “They don’t have to train me from scratch, you know running and all that. They have a much higher expectation of me each time. So it’s like, Oh by the way, here’s what we figured out we would do for this fight,’ and I just go, ‘What? I’d never be able to do that!’ But luckily they are bullies and we get there in the end.”
One scene which particularly sticks out for Beckinsale is when she had to be strapped to a surf board as fake snow cascaded down upon her.
She recalled: “There were a couple of things where you just had to fake it and I was on a surf board on my back covered in fake snow thinking why I am doing this, what is this for again?”
Discussing her fight on ice, she added: “I think the ice fight was the most complicated and the hardest to imagine what it would be like in its final form because we had to do it in little bits and also it was just super-slippery so we fell over a lot. But when you see it all together it was one of my favourite sequences.”
Although Beckinsale has played Selene five times she still finds it challenging to portray the catsuit-wearing vampire hybrid.
She said: “It’s my most familiar character I suppose in a weird way which is odd because it’s been the biggest stretch for me, so it’s a schizophrenic one.”

The Jump will be pre-recorded

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘The Jump’s forthcoming series will be mostly pre-recorded.
Bosses of the winter sports show – which has been dubbed the most dangerous programme on television – have decided to reduce the amount of live segments this time around after seven celebrities were severely injured on camera last year.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “The celebrities flew out yesterday and will be filming for at least a month before the show starts. The producers don’t want to risk anything this year and pre-recording most stuff makes it a lot easier.
“There have been a few injuries on camera in the past — not just in training — so they want to avoid those situations. It also means the celebs won’t take bigger risks as the adrenaline won’t be pumping like it does on the live shows.”
Viewers demanded the show be pulled off screen last year after Olympic gymnast Beth Tweddle broke her back, swimmer Rebecca Adlington dislocated her shoulder and actress Tina Hobley fractured her arm while taking part in the competition last January.
The future of the series was up in the air for some time but producers were given the go-ahead late last year after a number of celebrities jumped at the chance to take part.
This year will see the likes of Spencer Matthews, Lydia Bright, Josie Gibson, Vogue Williams, Caprice, Mark Dolan, Louis Smith, Jade Jones, Kadeena Cox, Gareth Thomas, Jason Robinson and Emma Parker Bowles go head-to-head on the slopes.
And bosses have laid down some strict rules to ensure the stars get as much rest as possible so that the amount of injuries on ice are slashed altogether.
The insider explained: “In the past the contestants have lived in a villa or chalet but this year they are back in a hotel, so there is a big danger they could go overboard at the bar. Last year’s stars were up until all hours knocking back drinks.
“But producers have already given them stern instructions not too drink too much, as skiing while hungover can be dangerous, especially as they are competing.”

Danny Dyer promises to stop swearing

OHMYGOSSIP — Danny Dyer has promised to stop swearing.
The 39-year-old actor has revealed his New Year’s resolution is to clean out his potty mouth and refrain from using any foul language in conversation, and if he does let a curse word slip from his lips he will put money in a jar.
However, the ‘EastEnders’ star – who plays the role of Mick Carter in the soap – believes his plan is “b*******” and he won’t be able to stick to his promise.
Speaking to The Sun Online about his plans to change his bad habits and if he think it’ll last, the dark-haired hunk said: “I think it’s b******* to be honest.
“I’ve basically spunked all my f****** wages for this.”
And Danny, who is set to go head to head with ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ judge Craig Revel Horwood on the upcoming instalment of ‘Lip Sync Battle UK’, which is presented by musician Professor Green and Mel B, has claimed he was always destined to be “a rockstar” and has no doubts he will be crowned champion when the Channel 5 show returns on Sunday (08.01.17).
Speaking confidently about his appearance on the miming competition, he said: “I was born to do this — to be a rockstar.
“There’s no way in the world I will lose to Craig f*****g Revel Horwood.”
And the East London-born hard man has claimed the competition is already over for the 52-year-old choreographer and competitor.
Danny – who married wife Joanne Mas last year – continued: “Of course he’s my enemy tonight and he always will be.
“It’s over for the geezer.
“I’m sure as he gets onto the stage his a*** is going to open and flap.”

will.i.am slams Gary Barlow's Let It Shine

OHMYGOSSIP — will.i.am has dubbed Gary Barlow’s ‘Let It Shine’ as the “opening act” for ‘The Voice UK’.
The 41-year-old rapper will appear as a judge on the ITV singing competition when it kicks off on Saturday (07.01.17), and has slammed the Take That singer’s rival competition – which airs on BBC and will overlap by approximately 30 minutes – as the lesser act in comparison to his show’s “headliners”.
He told The Sun newspaper: “[Gary’s] opening up for the headliners.
“He’s got to keep the people’s attention because they’re going to jump and come to us.
“Saturday night, the opening act, guess what, people leave that stage, they go to the main stage and go, ‘Oh s**t, ‘The Voice’ is on ITV’.”
The ratings war comes after ‘The Voice’ moved from it’s original home at the BBC to rival broadcaster ITV after the 2016 series.
BBC bosses filled the gap in it’s schedule with ‘Let It Shine’, which aims to find five singers who will form a Take That tribute act and will star in a musical in London’s West End.
And the news also comes after Gary, 45, said he would be “checking” the viewing figures for each show, but it isn’t his top priority.
He said: “That’s someone else’s job to think of that stuff. Everyone’s going to be talking about that, I’m aware of it.
“But I might be checking the day after.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Rule The World’ hitmaker recently slammed Simon Cowell, who embarks on yearly searches for talent on ‘The X Factor’, for handing out recording contracts that don’t necessarily bring success.
Gary said: “This is for a job, it is not someone waving a contract. The record business is very hard now I can’t even predict what is going to be successful or not.
“But with this I was able to sit there and say the reason you are here today is a job. We are going to give you an opportunity to play around the UK eight shows a week. By the end of the year I hope these will be the start of careers of years to come.”
‘Let It Shine’ starts on BBC One at 7pm on Saturday (07.01.17), whilst ‘The Voice UK’ starts an hour later at 8pm on ITV.

Tom Cruise is the 'best person to work with'

OHMYGOSSIP — Tom Cruise is the “best person to work with”, according to Jonathan Lipnicki.
The 54-year-old actor – who was cast in the lead role as Gerald ‘Jerry’ Maguire alongside Lipnicki in ‘Jerry Maguire’ – has been credited as the “ultimate professional” by his co-star, who played Renée Zellweger’s on-screen son Raymond Boyd in the 1996 movie.
Speaking about the dark-haired hunk on the American show ‘Access Hollywood’ on Wednesday (04.01.17), Lipnicki said: “Tom is so amazing that I’m really not surprised.
“I mean he is the best person to work with. And the fact that I got to work with him on my first movie really set a great tone for someone to look up to. He’s the ultimate professional.”
And the 26-year-old actor has revealed he has become a devoted fan of Cruise since the pair worked together, which has seen him watch “every” single film Cruise has starred in.
He continued: “To this day, I see every Tom Cruise movie that comes out.”
And Lipnicki has revealed the pair still keep in touch and the ‘Top Gun’ star – who has won three Golden Globes – is always on hand to give Lipnicki advice.
He said: “He gave me actually advice pretty recently like four years ago.
“I went over to his house because I actually — I cold-called his office at United Artists and asked for advice and, you know, he got back to me and I went over.
“It was incredible to sit down with one of your favourite actors and have an hour-long conversation about acting.”
And Lipnicki has revealed Cruise claims the reason behind his successful career at the helm of the film industry, which has spanned almost four decades, is being on time.
Lipnicki said: “A big part of his success he attributes to being on time and being polite to people and knowing people’s names.”

Guillermo del Toro's The Shape of Water to star 'fish man' creature

OHMYGOSSIP — Guillermo del Toro’s new movie ‘The Shape of Water’ will feature a “fish man”.
The 52-year-old filmmaker is currently working on his new project – which will star Sally Hawkins, Michael Shannon, Richard Jenkins, Michael Stulbarg, and Octavia Spencer – and his long term acting partner Doug Jones, who also appears in the movie, has shared the first glimpse into the plot details.
Previously, it was known the movie would be set in 1963 during the Cold War, but Doug – who previously featured in del Toro’s movies ‘Hellboy’, ‘Pans Labyrinth’, and ‘Crimson Peak’ – has revealed that whilst it is “not a sci-fi”, he will take on the role of a mysterious “creature”.
He said: “It’s a 1963 drama — it’s not a sci-fi [film], it’s not a genre film, but I am a creature in it. I’m a fish man that’s kind of a one-off. I’m an enigma, nobody knows where I came from; I’m the last of my species so I’m like a natural anomaly.
“And I’m being studied and tested in a U.S. government facility in 1963, so the Russian Cold War is on, the race for space is on, so there’s all that backdrop and that undercurrent.
“I’m being tested for how can they use me for advantages in military or space travel, or my technology–can we make this usable for humans?
“So they’re trying to keep me a secret from the Russians.”
And despite the war-based backdrop and fish-based creatures, Doug insists that the plot actually follows a very poignant “love story”.
He told Collider.com: “Meanwhile, there’s a love story that brews out of it, and that would be the cleaning lady played by Sally Hawkins. She comes and finds me, has sympathy on me, and then that’s the story that you’re really gonna follow with this whole backdrop.”
As of yet, the film has no set release date.

Ed Balls and Judge Rinder will join Loose Women panel on Friday!

OHMYGOSSIP — Ed Balls and Judge Rinder will join ‘Loose Women’ as panellists on Friday (06.01.17). The former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ contestants – who were given the boot from the ballroom and latin competition just before the final – will join regulars Andrea McLean and Nadia Sawalha this week for the third installment of ‘Loose Women & Men’.

Ahead of his appearance, the 49-year-old politician said: “I had a great time with the lovely ‘Loose Women’ when I was on as a guest – showing them a few dance moves! So I can only imagine what mischief we will get up to with a whole hour on the panel.”

And there will certainly be outrageous comments and wild antics as the television barrister is determined to give motormouth Janet Street-Porter a run for her money. He said: “I am very much looking forward to being on the panel. You can expect me to be thoroughly forthright, so much so, I’ll make Janet Street-Porter seem like Pollyanna!”

The outspoken foursome will debate the hot topics of the day and share their personal experiences and stories as they’ll be joined by special guests throughout the episode. ‘Loose Women’ Editor, Sally Shelford has said: “Only a few very special men have what it takes to be on the ‘Loose Women’ panel, but Ed Balls and Judge Rinder have proven they are more than up to the challenge. Fun, feisty and not afraid to speak their minds, they survived the ‘Strictly….’ judges, but will they survive their fellow ‘Loose Women’ panellists? Expect some fiery debates, a few surprises, and lots of laughs.”

Tony Robinson: Dustin Hoffman could play Baldrick in Blackadder remake

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Tony Robinson wants to Dustin Hoffman take over the role of Baldrick in a remake of ‘Blackadder’.
The 70-year-old actor portrayed Edmund Blackadder’s hapless dogsbody in four series of the iconic sitcom each set in different periods of Britain’s history.
There has been much discussion about the show – which starred Rowan Atkinson in the titular role – returning for another series but now Tony has come up with a particularly cunning plan if the programme was ever completely rebooted, which is to replace him with the Oscar winner and star of such films as ‘The Graduate’ and ‘Rain Man’.
In an interview in the latest issue of mature men’s lifestyle magazine CalibreQuarterly.com, Tony said: “If anyone else were to play Baldrick, I would choose Dustin Hoffman. I’ve just always thought that, as a performer, [Hoffman] was a kindred spirit. Right from ‘The Graduate’ onwards, I just know why he’s made the acting choices he has. I can’t explain it , but when I see what you’re doing Dustin, I just get it.”
Despite the clamour for more ‘Blackadder’ from fans, Tony doesn’t believe there will be a reboot or a reunion of the main cast, which included Stephen Fry, Hugh Laurie, Miranda Richardson and Tim McInnerny, and the writing team of Richard Curtis and Ben Elton because not enough of the original team want to make more.
Tony also admits the big fear is that they would make more episodes only for the laughs to dry up because it has been almost 28 years since ‘Blackadder Goes Forth’ – which was set in the trenches of World War I – aired in 1989.
The ‘Time Team’ presenter said: “I don’t think it will it will happen because there isn’t sufficient will amongst the majority of people associated with ‘Blackadder’. I suspect that Rowan is quite agnostic about it. And Ben is probably the one who’d most like to do another one. You look at somebody like Richard and he has got so many projects on. Tim has always said the problem with doing any more Blackadders is that even if we made it the best series in the world people have moved on. They would watch it wanting it to be imbued with the emotions they had when they watched ‘Blackadder Goes Forth’, and there’s no way we could deliver that.”

Barry Adelman: Golden Globes will pay homage to Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds

OHMYGOSSIP — Debbie Reynolds and Carrie Fisher will be remembered at the Golden Globe Awards. The prestigious ceremony – which is being hosted by Jimmy Fallon – will pay homage to the late mother and daughter pair when it takes place at the Beverly Hilton hotel on January 8.

Asked whether they will recognise the recent passing of the ‘Star Wars’ actress and the ‘Three Little Words’ star, as well as other late movie legends such as Gene Wilder and Alan Rickman who passed away in 2016, Golden Globes producer Barry Adelman told PEOPLE: “Those things are handled really well by the Oscars and the Screen Actors Guild, we do realise there were some special circumstances of very recent nature that happened and we’ll be acknowledging that.”

Carrie died aged 60 on December 27 in hospital following a suspected heart attack and her 84-year-old mother passed away a day after her daughter after having a severe stroke. A service remembering both is to be held on Thursday (05.01.17) and Meryl Streep has been asked to give the eulogy at a public memorial service while actors from the ‘Star Wars’ movies, including Mark Hamill, will also be invited to speak.
The public memorial will also feature some of Debbie and Carrie’s most famous movie costumes, including outfits from ‘Singin’ in the Rain’ and clothes worn by Carrie as Princess Leia, on display.
