Woody Harrelson teases criminal Han Solo role

OHMYGOSSIP — Woody Harrelson will play a “bit of a criminal” in the upcoming Han Solo movie.
The 55-year-old actor’s casting in the as-yet untitled ‘Star Wars’ spin-off film was recently confirmed, and though he is reluctant to say too much about the project, he couldn’t resist dropping a few hints.
Speaking during a Facebook live chat with Mashable, he said: “I’m a mentor to Han. I’m also a bit of a criminal.
“I don’t think I should say more than that because the Force is not allowing me.”
Movie bosses are thrilled to have the ‘Hunger Games’ star on board for the movie alongside Alden Ehrenreich (Han Solo), Donald Glover (Lando Calrissian) and Emilia Clarke.
Of Woody’s casting, the film’s directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller said: “We couldn’t be more excited to work with an artist with as much depth and range as Woody.
“His ability to find both humour and pathos, often in the same role, is truly unique. He is also very good at ping pong.”
His casting comes after LucasFilm chief Kathleen Kennedy – who is also a producer for the film – teased the movie will have a “Western-type feel”.
She revealed: “This moves closer to a heist or Western-type feel. We’ve talked about [Western-era artist Frederic] Remington and those primary colours that are used in his paintings defining the look and feel of the film.”
And cinematographer Bradford Young feels directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller will make the movie “subversive”.
He said: “These cats are subversive, don’t let it fool you. They are prepared to say exactly what they wanna say and it’s complex, it’s layered, it’s smart, it’s visual, it’s dramatic, it’s funny, it’s uneasy, it’s unexpected. These cats are – I’m honoured to have them in the list of directors I’ve worked with, that’s for sure.
“It’s funny, here’s the thing about Phil Lord and Chris Miller: don’t let their track record fool you. Don’t put those guys in a box because they have a vision, they know exactly what they want. They have no hidden agenda, but they do have an agenda; they have a way of seeing that’s very special, and their collaboration is genuinely unique.
“So I have to say I had to get converted into that. I respect their work, I respect them as filmmakers, but I wasn’t quite sure if there would be a good marriage between what I’m trying to pursue and the work that I’m doing and what they’re doing, but they helped make that real clear to me early on by expressing some real interesting story [and] photographic ideas that really resonated with me.”
The movie – which is currently untitled – is slated for release in late 2018.

Jeremy McConnell delighted by Stephanie Davis' baby news

OHMYGOSSIP — Jeremy McConnell is “delighted” by the news Stephanie Davis has given birth to a baby boy.
The 26-year-old hunk has always denied being the father of the former ‘Hollyoaks’ star’s child, but after the 23-year-old actress welcomed her son into the world on Friday (13.01.17), he has vowed to “step up” and support the little boy if paternity tests prove he is the dad.
He told The Sun Online: “I am delighted that Steph has safely had the baby, of course if he is my son I will absolutely step up and do what I can to support him.”
And Jeremy insisted he has been in touch with his former girlfriend, but she has snubbed his attempts to speak about the situation.
He added: “Any timescale for that is in Steph’s hands now.
“I did reach out to her some weeks ago but didn’t hear back.”
A spokesperson for the actress confirmed yesterday she had given birth in Liverpool following a 48-hour labour.
They said: “We can confirm our client Stephanie Davis today gave birth to a baby boy in Liverpool. Mother and baby are doing fine.”
Stephanie previously claimed she had reached out to the ‘Beauty School Cop Out’ star on a number of occasions but never heard from him, and so stopped contacting him about her pregnancy.
She said last year: “He doesn’t deserve to be there [at the birth]. I don’t think he wants to be there either. I don’t think I could ever forgive him for how he’s been.
“I used to send him scan photos but he doesn’t care and he never has. It’s just me and my son now. I never thought he’d be that type of guy.”

will.i.am prefers The Voice on ITV to BBC

OHMYGOSSIP — will.i.am insists ‘The Voice UK’ is better suited to ITV than the BBC.
The Black Eyed Peas star – who is one of the original panelists on the talent show – admitted he thinks the talent show’s new home can only be good for the contestants because there are fewer commercial constraints than there were with the public broadcaster.
He told The Sun newspaper’s TV magazine: “The format is better here. Now, when the singers win, they can go on tour – they couldn’t go on tour on the BBC and their songs couldn’t forcibly be played on radio on the BBC either.
“It’s licence-fee payers’ money, so you’ve got to respect the BBC for sticking to their agreement, but it’s a great opportunity being on ITV.”
The 41-year-old star compared the show’s move to a divorce and said he believes everyone is much happier now, even though he was initially stunned when he heard the news.
He said: “Imagine you’re 15 years old and Mommy and Daddy say they’re getting divorced. Though Mommy’s happy as she’s got a new love toy, the kids are sad – that’s how it felt when we left the BBC
“It was like, ‘What?! I thought everything was great!’ It’s come out of the blue. Then you realise that life is great over here on the other side now that Mommy’s happy. You never realise what happens when a parent is actually happy.”
will is joined on the panel by newcomers Jennifer Hudson and Gavin Rossdale, but is particularly happy that Sir Tom Jones is back on the show after being axed by the BBC for the 2015 series.
He said: “I’m happy Tom’s back – it’s a more balanced show. The show was great without him, but with him it’s even better.”

David Jason wants Only Fools and Horses to return

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir David Jason would love ‘Only Fools and Horses’ to return – but without writer John Sullivan he doesn’t think it can happen.
The 76-year-old actor played cheeky London market trader Derek ‘Del Boy’ Trotter alongside Nicholas Lyndhurst as his “plonker” brother Rodney Trotter in seven series and 16 specials and he admits he’d don Del’s sheepskin jacket for another episode without hesitation but he doesn’t think anyone can match creator Sullivan – who passed away in 2011 at the age of 64 – when it comes to creating jokes and stories for the Peckham characters.
Speaking at the launch of Cirque du Soleil’s ‘Amaluna’ show at London’s Royal Albert Hall, he said: “It would be good to do ‘Only Fools and Horses’ but we haven’t got a writer, if we had the wonderful writer, the lovely John Sullivan, we would I tell you, but we haven’t got a writer and my partner Nick has gone on to do other things, so you’re stuck with ‘Open All Hours’ now!”
David is teaming up with Nicholas and other cast members for a new documentary ‘The Only Fools and Horses Story’ which looks back on the making of the BBC sitcom and its lasting appeal.
He admits it’s been wonderful to look back on the beloved programme and remember what a wonderful time he and everyone else had making it but once that’s broadcast he thinks that’s it for the Trotters.
He said: “We’re doing ‘The Story of Only Fools…’ the final one and only. When we did it we enjoyed it so much but we didn’t quite know what success we were having; we knew it was good, we had a good time, and we loved it. But it’s still going on, new audiences are enjoying it as much as the original and long may it continue.”
Aside from the documentary, David is making a show about his life story as well as returning as Granville for more ‘Still Open All Hours’.
He said: “I’m also filming my life story so hopefully you’ll be watching that and then I’ll be doing more ‘Open All Hours’. They’re keeping me very busy, so I’m sorry Hollywood but you’ve missed your chance this year!”
The last time David and Nicholas appeared as Del Boy and Rodney was in a sketch for ‘Sport Relief’ that aired in March 2014 which was written by John’s sons Jim Sullivan and Dan Sullivan and included previously unused material penned by their father.
David Beckham was part of the special and at the end of the sketch he recreated the famous scene where Del Boy falls though the bar in 1989 episode ‘Yuppy Love’.

Disney won't use digital Carrie Fisher

OHMYGOSSIP — Lucasfilm have dismissed suggestions they are seeking the rights to use Carrie Fisher’s digital image in future ‘Star Wars’ films.
It had been claimed Disney had entered negotiations to her use likeness with the late actress’ estate following her death last month at the age of 60, but they insist that is not the case, though they will always “strive to honour everything” the star gave to the sci-fi series.
A statement posted on StarWars.com read: “We want to assure our fans that Lucasfilm has no plans to digitally recreate Carrie Fisher’s performance as Princess or General Leia Organa.
“Carrie Fisher was, is, and always will be a part of the Lucasfilm family. She was our princess, our general, and more importantly, our friend. We are still hurting from her loss. We cherish her memory and legacy as Princess Leia, and will always strive to honour everything she gave to Star Wars.”
After recent ‘Star Wars’ prequel ‘Rogue One’ featured a likeness of Peter Cushing, despite the actor having died in 1994, BBC’s ‘Newsnight’ programme reported Disney wanted to use the same technology to enable Carrie’s General Leia to appear in future films in the series.
Kirsty Wark said on the show: “With what might be regarded as unseemly haste, Disney is negotiating with the actor’s estate over her continued appearance in the franchise. If Disney gets the go-ahead, Carrie Fisher will join Peter Cushing, who, last month, played a key role in Rogue One as Grand Moff Tarkin.”
Carrie was believed to have completed filming on ‘Star Wars: Episode VIII’ before her death, though there are further films planned in the franchise.
It was previously claimed the studio will receive a staggering $50 million after having taken out insurance incase the actress was unable to fulfil her three-movie contract.
Lloyds of London will pay out for the “contract protection cover”, with the insurance underwritten by US-based Exceptional Risk Advisors, who say there are “experts in insuring complex human capital risks for highly successful individuals”.
The staggering sum is said to be the biggest personal accident insurance claim ever.

Rachel McAdams is embarrassed by Lindsay Lohan's Mean Girls sequel

OHMYGOSSIP — Rachel McAdams is said to be embarrassed by Lindsay Lohan’s campaign for a ‘Mean Girls’ sequel.
The 30-year-old troubled actress recently revealed she is “trying so hard” to get a follow-up to the 2004 film made, but her former co-star has reportedly told her representatives she has no desire to be a part of any such project as her career has moved on.
A source said: “Rachel has worked hard to get away from being typecast and is now being taken seriously as an actress.
“She was nominated for an Oscar last year for her role in ‘Spotlight’ and the last thing she wants is to be back in the headlines next to Lindsay.
“Rachel has told her reps a sequel will never happen…
“Rachel thinks ‘Mean Girls’ was a great start to her career but the key word is ‘start’. Rachel is way past that stage now – she’s constantly being offered film roles and turns most things down.
“She only wants to o stuff that is meaningful in some way. She’s building an award-winning career, there’s no way she’s signing on to some teenage sequel.”
But Rachel isn’t the only former cast member not keen on the idea.
The source added: “It’s not just Rachel who’s embarrassed by Lindsay’s repeated attempts ovr the years to get this sequel going. Amanda Seyfried feels the same.”
And creator Tina Fey is also said to be unimpressed by Lindsay’s efforts.
The source told heat magazine: “Lindsay even said she has written a treatment for the script and that is not the way to get in Tina’s good graces.”

Austin Armacost voted off CBB

OHMYGOSSIP — Austin Armacost has been voted off ‘Celebrity Big Brother’.
The model became the second star to leave the show on Friday (13.01.17), after fellow housemate Angie Best lost the public vote.
However, Austin’s departure was even more shocking as the other housemates voted him off in a surprise twist as the ‘Weekend from Hell’ kicked off.
Explaining the drama at the beginning of Friday’s episode, host Emma Willis said: “The gates of hell are being swung open for our celebrities. No more Mr Nice Guy.
“The housemates are expecting an eviction tonight but what they don’t know is there’s going to be a second shock eviction when the housemates will be forced to turn on each other and cull the dullest celebrity.”
While Jedward, Caulm Best and James Cosmo each received two votes, Austin was nominated by Spencer and Heidi Pratt, Jedward and Nicola McLean and forced to leave the show.
However, three new contestants entered the house on Friday; Chloe Ferry, Jessica Cunningham, and Kim Woodburn.
The ‘Geordie Shore’ star, ‘Apprentice’ contestant and ‘How Clean Is Your House’ star are the latest ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ contestants but will have to fight for their survival against the original housemates.
Meanwhile, speaking during her elimination interview, Angie insisted she didn’t regret her time on the show.
She said: “Listen, I went in there to spend time with my son Calum. Otherwise there is no way I would have done that. My son was there so I said yes. Nine days in a bubble with all of those emotions and people. It’s enough now! Time for mum to go and let them get on with it.
“I exercised, meditated and I sat and watched all of these loonies doing their thing! I only had two little outbursts and I must say I really enjoyed them.”
And she tipped either Calum or Heidi and Spencer, to win the show.
She said: “[Spencer] is a darling, an absolute darling! He is very, very sharp and he has a brain like nothing you’ve ever seen before… There’s not a harmful bone in his body.”

Angie Best evicted from CBB

OHMYGOSSIP — Angie Best has been evicted from ‘Celebrity Big Brother’.
The 64-year-old model – who has been competing in the Channel 5 show alongside her son Calum Best – lost out to housemates Austin Armacost, Heidi and Spencer Pratt, Stacy Francis and James Cosmo in the public vote.
On Friday (13.01.17), Angie became the first celebrity to be voted out of the house this series, although Ray J and DJ Brandon Block both left the show earlier this week.
Angie’s departure came as the show kicked off its ‘Weekend from Hell’, which will see another celebrity leave the show and three new stars enter the house.
No names have yet to be confirmed but Nicola McLean’s husband Tom Williams has hinted he may enter the house amidst his wife’s budding friendship with footballer Jamie O’Hara.
He tweeted: “Bro these housemates aren’t ready for me #notonmylevel. (sic)”
And Stephen Bear – who won last year’s series – has fuelled speculation he may be one of the celebrities to enter the house after he shared a video of his ex-housemate James Whale speaking on ‘Big Brother’s Bit on the Side’, where he said he had to “suffer three weeks with Bear”.
‘Geordie Shore’s Chloe Ferry has also been tipped to join the remaining contestants.
While Angie will be cheering on her son Calum to win the show, she also admitted during her exit interview with host Emma Willis that she would like to see Heidi and Spencer Pratt emerge victorious.

Stephanie Davis welcomes baby boy

OHMYGOSSIP — Stephanie Davis has given birth.
The former ‘Hollyoaks’ actress welcomed a son on Friday (13.01.17) at a Liverpool hospital, following a 48-hour labour.
Her representative told OK! magazine: “We can confirm our client Stephanie Davis today gave birth to a baby boy in Liverpool. Mother and baby are doing fine.”
No other details have been released.
Stephanie, 23, went into labour on Wednesday (11.01.17) and a friend revealed she was “so excited” about the baby’s birth.
The insider told The Sun Online: “Steph is so excited that the day has finally come that she will meet her son. At the moment she is focusing on welcoming her little boy – her priority is his safe delivery and spending some quality time with him. She is grateful for fans’ support and well wishes but right now her attention is on getting to grips with being a mum.”
Stephanie hasn’t had the easiest of pregnancies as she was struck down with acute morning sickness in the first and second trimester and then she experienced some bleeding, which she feared was a sign of her losing her baby, in the third trimester.
However, doctors quickly established that her baby was fine and she had colitis.
Stephanie then started experiencing Braxton Hicks – irregular practice contractions that can be felt around mid-pregnancy and increase in frequency and strength as the pregnancy progresses – and pressure at the bottom of her stomach last month.
While the brunette beauty is celebrating giving birth, her ex-boyfriend Jeremy McConnell – who has denied the baby is his, despite Stephanie insisting he is the father – is on holiday.

Lorraine Kelly admits to being a fashion criminal

OHMYGOSSIP — Lorraine Kelly believes she should have been “arrested” for the outrageous outfits she used to wear.
The 57-year-old television personality – who is known for presenting ‘Lorraine’ for seven years – has admitted she doesn’t feel any “pressure” to dress a certain way and believes the anxiety is self-inflicted, although she has admitted she has had a number of fashion faux pas in the past.
Speaking in a Q&A ahead of an Amazon.co.uk fitness class at London’s Amazon European Photography Studio on Thursday (12.01.17), which she co-hosted with her friend and fitness instructor Maxine Jones to celebrate the launch of her fitness DVD ‘Brand New You’, the Scottish-born star said: “I really don’t [feel pressure to look a certain way]. One of the joys of working for breakfast telly is even when I was at my biggest, even when I was wearing things that frankly I should have been arrested for, nobody ever did [arrest me]. They should have!
“It’s pressure from yourself I think.”
And the nation’s sweetheart – who launched her workout video in December last year – has revealed she has dropped a number of dress sizes since she started working out with Maxine, and has a more visible waist line than she did when she was 30 years younger.
She explained: “I mean, I’ve got a waist! I didn’t have a waist when I was 27 and I’m 57 now. That’s an amazing breakthrough. I can wear sleeveless tops on the telly! That’s something that’s just astonishing.”
And the brunette beauty has hinted she feels “more confident” about her appearance since shedding the weight, and feels comfortable wearing ensembles she would never had worn before.
She said: “When you feel better about yourself and you feel more confident, you wear things that you probably wouldn’t have worn before.”

Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford get candid about sex life

OHMYGOSSIP — Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford opened up about their bedroom antics on ‘This Morning’.
The couple – who have been married since 2010 but have been together for nearly two decades – happily discussed their sex life as they co-hosted the daytime show on Friday morning (13.01.17).
During a chat with a women who says she is happy in a sexless marriage, Eamonn said: “Sex is very important to me!”
Ruth then replied: “It’s Friday fun night tonight, darling!”
And then Eamonn quipped that he only had sex once a month, joking with his wife: “There’s only one Friday in the month.”
Meanwhile, Ruth – who has Jack, 14, with Eamonn – previously opened up about a potential pooch problem as she lets her pet dog sleep with her when her husband is away but wouldn’t want her dog around when the pair get intimate as she thinks it would ruin the mood.
She said: “I have to say five years ago before I had my gorgeous, beautiful, wonderful Maggie – who is the best dog in the world – I used to think that people who did all that dog in the bed stuff were a bit crazy, but I am now that person. When we got Maggie I said, ‘No going upstairs and definitely no going on the bed.’
“Now she practically sleeps in the bed with her head on the pillow, mostly with Jack … When Eamonn is away I do like her on the bed. Me and Jack fight over her, I’m like, ‘Come on it’s my turn, I never get Maggie!’
“She doesn’t really sleep with Eamonn and I … What if you wanted to be intimate with your partner? Those eyes on you, I couldn’t do it. What if they started barking encouragement?”

Andrea McLean had vasculitis

OHMYGOSSIP — Andrea McLean developed vasculitis after her hysterectomy.
The ‘Loose Women’ panellist went under the knife in September to have her uterus removed but, despite being given the all-clear, she later found out that she had an infection and her immune system began to attack the healthy blood vessels.
Speaking on the lunchtime show on Friday (13.01.17), she said: “I officially had my all clear yesterday. I say officially, because unofficially I was given the all-clear but then I had some complications. I had something called vasculitis- Google it actually don’t Google it because it’s frightening. It can close off your arteries and shut down your organs, it’s really dangerous, but my kids didn’t know and my mum didn’t know, but Nick [her partner] knew and my mum got really upset with me, ‘Why didn’t you tell me.’ ”
But it wasn’t just the physical side effects of the operation that Andrea had on her mind as she recently admitted that she thought the surgery would plunge her into depression.
She explained when she returned to the show in October: “I’m so happy to be back with the girls – it’s my first show in six weeks, I’m so hormonal, I could cry.
“It’s just coming up to six weeks since I had the hysterectomy – my biggest fear was mentally falling off a cliff. I was really worried about how it would affect me. Apart from the odd moment of being irrational I’ve been alright.”
And the 47-year-old star was glad her loved ones were not there to see her straight after she came out of the operation as she thinks it would be “difficult for them to see” her shaking and convulsing.
Describing what happened after the operation, she explained: “I came around and I was shaking and convulsing – I was very cold. I felt very sick. I was glad [my family] weren’t there because it would have difficult for them to see.”

Tom Hardy isn't ruling out directing role

OHMYGOSSIP — Tom Hardy isn’t ready to direct just yet.
The ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ star hasn’t ruled out the possibility of stepping behind the camera one day but would like to be an “apprentice” first.
Asked if he’d like to take the helm of a movie, he said: “Oh, no, not yet. I’d like to apprentice.”
However, his ‘Taboo’ co-stars quipped he’d be a “nightmare” in the director’s chair as he likes to have “deep discussions” on set.
David Hayman said: “He’d be a nightmare.”
Whilst Michael Kelly added to Deadline: “Our days would be a little longer due to the deep discussions.”
Meanwhile, Tom previously admitted he has a bit of a “dark” reputation.
He shared: “There’s this myth, which is quite asinine, that circulates about me – usually by those who haven’t worked with me. There’s only one thing worse than being talked about and that’s not being talked about in this game so I’d rather it be that, I guess.
“But there are other people who I work with consistently who know that’s not the case – who just wouldn’t risk having somebody like that in their midst because there’s too much at stake. Obviously, you’re going to rub people the wrong way … and I’ve been a d**k. But then, who hasn’t?”
But before Tom even thinks about sitting in the director’s chair, he may have a ‘Mad Max’ sequel to star in as he admitted he is “waiting for the call” about a possible sequel.
Asked if the sequels will be happening, he said: “Yeah I believe so! I don’t know when that starts, but I believe that’s in the books. There’s a couple of those floating around. I’m waiting for the call to come. It was so good man.”

Jessica Lange: Ageism in Hollywood hasn't changed very much

OHMYGOSSIP — Jessica Lange doesn’t think Hollywood’s view on ageism has “changed” much over the years.
The 67-year-old actress believes there is still less interest in stories about women “of a certain age” and thus that limits the opportunities for older women in the film industry.
She said: “I don’t think it’s changed that much really to tell you the truth. It’s not necessarily a question of age or looks. I think it is who is interested in these stories.
“If the powers that be don’t find there is anything valuable or interesting in a story about a woman of a certain age, those films aren’t going to get made.”
And Jessica’s ‘Feud’ co-star Susan Sarandon, 70, insists ageing actors still have the “same problems” they always have done but thinks things are moving slowly in the right direction.
Speaking at the 2017 Winter Television Critics Association Press Tour on Thursday (12.01.17), she shared: “When I started, it was over by 40. So, definitely, the line has been pushed.
“I was told on many occasions not to bring up the idea that you had children, because in some way, that would cut into this idea that you weren’t sexy or sensual, or whatever. So I think those things have changed, and you see the line being moved a little bit further.”
Meanwhile, Jessica previously confessed she has wanted to retire for 30 years.
She explained: “I’ve been in the process of retiring for the last 30 years. It’s becoming more and more imminent. By next near I will have been doing this for 40 years, which seems like many lifetimes.
“I do think, ‘It’s been great, but now I’m done.’ Maybe move on to something entirely different. My kids always tease me, ‘You’ve been retiring since we’ve known you!’ It’s true.
“But the thing about acting, it’s so seductive. You get drawn into a role … it’s like a love affair. There’s something really alive about it, and you remember why you were doing it to begin with. It can still seduce you after 40 years, which is kind of amazing.”

Michael Keaton 'impressed' by Marvel

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Keaton is impressed by the “Marvel machine”.
The 65-year-old actor has signed up to play villain Vulture in ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’, which is being produced by Marvel Studios, and thinks it is “pretty amazing” how they run things.
He said: “[The] Marvel machine is pretty amazing once you step into that. I hadn’t done a Marvel movie and they are so good at how they run things. It’s impressive.”
And Michael has thoroughly enjoyed working with Tom Holland, who plays the titular role in the movie.
He told Entertainment Tonight: “He is a really good guy.
“I just worked with Dylan O’Brien [on the upcoming thriller American Assassin] and they are around the same age, I would say, and they are both such good guys to work with. Tommy is a good kid.”
Meanwhile, Michael previously teased his character Vulture will be very relatable.
Asked if he brings an “inherent likeability” to all his villainous roles, he said: “Yeah, Vulture, recently. But not to give too much away, but interestingly, he is and he isn’t, that character.
“He’s a really interesting – and more interesting than I thought – villain because there’s parts of him that you go, ‘You know what? I might see his point.’ Really, really. It makes it interesting to play.”
And the whole cast are looking forward to the film including Zendaya, who will play Spider-Man’s love interest Mary Jane Watson.
She said: “It’s very exciting. I mean, I can’t say anything because I’m not going to get in trouble. I’m not going to be that person that gets in trouble, but I can say its going to be a lot, a lot of fun … It’s a very tight situation. They can’t let anything out, it’s ‘Spider-Man’ you know, so again not getting in trouble.”
‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ is slated for release in July 2017.

Angie Best told off about fitness lecture

OHMYGOSSIP — Angie Best has been told to stop lecturing her housemates about fitness and healthy eating.
The ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ star – who has trained the likes of Cher and Sharon Stone over the years – has been preaching about the importance of good health while in the infamous abode but it seems her thoughtful gesture hasn’t gone down too well with her fellow housemates as bosses have been forced to tell her to tone down her advice following a series of complaints.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Bosses have had to warn Angie to stop talking about her strict diets and health so much. With the women living in close proximity, it’s a worry that Angie’s strong views could trigger other housemates’ past body insecurities.”
The fitness guru locked horns with ‘Loose Women’ panellist Coleen Nolan earlier this week after she lashed out at her for smoking – particularly after her sister Bernie died from cancer.
Coleen hit back in a jokey manner: “I’m going to smash your face in in a moment. I mean I appreciate your concern but you’re getting right on my t**s.”
The 64-year-old former model also rubbed Ray J – who has since left the house – up the wrong way after she told him he had put weight on around his stomach since entering the abode.
Her outburst led to her son Calum Best – who is also taking part in the show – taking his mother to one side to tell her not to “go in on people like you would a client outside of here.”
Nicola McLean – who has previously battled with anorexia and bulimia – also ran into the diary room to vent about how “p****d off” she was at Angie’s constant fitness talk.
She moaned: “It’s insensitive, self-absorbed, and if there was an alcoholic in here I wouldn’t be telling them how great the wine tasted.”
