OHMYGOSSIP — Claudia Winkleman has a really bad memory.
The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ presenter really struggles to retain any facts and has admitted she can’t even recall who has taken part in the ballroom and latin show.
She told the Daily Star newspaper: “I can’t place anybody anymore. Did I go to school with them? Have I been on holiday with them? Have they been on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’? I have no idea.
“When we leave ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ the lovely people say: ‘Can you write down five names of people you would love to do the show?’ I have never not written down five people who have already done it. Like: ‘Alesha Dixon would be awesome.’ ”
The 44-year-old actress is regularly targeted when she presents the dancing show because of her bizarre outfit choices, dark make-up and tousled locks.
But she believes it was her mother Eve who created her distinctive style because she banned all mirrors from their house when she was growing up.
She said recently: “I was brought up by the strongest and most brilliant woman I’ve ever come across – my mum. She was strong and fantastic and taught me everything I needed to know in being female. ‘We weren’t allowed any mirrors in the house, which would explain how I do my make-up … and the fact I look like I’ve slept in a skip.
“I was 15 going out saying, ‘Mum, I need to know how I look, give me an idea!’ She’d say, ‘fine’; she wanted to teach us that appearance is a waste of time, it’s not in the least bit important.”

OHMYGOSSIP — The ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house is set to get some new housemates.
The show has been thrown into chaos after American singer Ray J and DJ Brandon Block left the famous abode in less than 48 hours of each other and it has now been confirmed that they will be replaced by brand new housemates.
An advert, which aired during one of the breaks of Thursday night’s (12.01.17) show, says the new housemates would be revealed during Friday night’s (13.01.17) eviction show.
The advert promised that what is expected to be three housemates will join the house for a “weekend from hell” as they “fight for survival” with the current residents.
No names have yet to be confirmed but Nicola McLean’s husband Tom Williams has hinted he may enter the house amidst his wife’s budding friendship with footballer Jamie O’Hara.
He tweeted: “Bro these housemates aren’t ready for me #notonmylevel. (sic)”
And Stephen Bear – who won last year’s series – has fuelled speculation he may be one of the celebrities to enter the house after he shared a video of his ex-housemate James Whale speaking on ‘Big Brother’s Bit on the Side’, where he said he had to “suffer three weeks with Bear”.
Meanwhile, Brandon left the house as he “wasn’t feeling himself” whilst Ray J was suffering from extreme toothache.
In a statement made after his release, Brandon said: “I was incredibly honoured to have the experience it was wonderful, but I wasn’t feeling myself. May the best man or woman win.”
And Ray J claimed he had been “complaining about his tooth” for three days before he was allowed to go to hospital.
He shared: “I have a bad tooth problem … I’ve been complaining about my tooth for three and a half days. It got to the point where some of the housemates in the house felt like I was being ignored. We took petitions to say we’re not doing anymore tasks until Ray J’s tooth gets fixed.
“I’ve got a cracked tooth where I need a filling fixed. I’ve got a gum coming over my other tooth and I’m in a lot of pain. So after three and a half days with all this pain, they decided to take me out but I blacked out. I end up in the hospital.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Richard Ayoade will replace Stephen Merchant as the host of ‘The Crystal Maze’.
The 42-year-old comedian hosted a one-off special of the classic ’90s game show in October for Channel 4’s celebrity special in aid of charity fundraiser ‘Stand Up to Cancer’, but as the broadcaster moves to make the revival of the show into a full series, it is 39-year-old Richard who will take the helm.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Richard has been a huge hit on Channel 4 and has really clicked with younger viewers who love his off-beat sense of humour and quirky spark.
“Show chiefs were therefore delighted to sign Richard up as ‘The Crystal Maze’s new host.
“They believe his eccentric style and comedic charm will be the secret ingredient to giving the vintage game show a fresher look.
“Having worked with the likes of Rebel Wilson, Jonathan Ross, and Claudia Winkleman in the past, bosses are also hoping Richard can use his connections to get some great talent on the celeb specials.”
And it isn’t the only hosting job for Channel 4 that the ‘Gadget Man’ star has his eye on either, as it was previously reported he was in talks to replace Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins on ‘The Great British Bake Off’, after the pair quit the show when it moved from it’s spot on BBC One.
A source said at the time: “Richard is a really popular choice at the minute, as many think he’s got a great character that would bring a great spark to the show.
“He’s got a wonderful off-beat sense of humour, which would really fit the change of channel – and would no doubt be a popular choice with viewers too.
“It’s still early days, but he is definitely up there and now the leading candidate.”
Whilst no host for the new series of the popular baking show has been confirmed, ‘The Crystal Maze’ is expected to air new episodes with Richard later this year.

OHMYGOSSIP — Claudia Winkleman thinks she looks like she’s “slept in a skip”.
The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ presenter has revealed that her mother, Eve Pollard, banned all mirrors from their house when she was growing up – and that has led her to develop her own distinctive style.
She said: “I was brought up by the strongest and most brilliant woman I’ve ever come across – my mum.
“She was strong and fantastic and taught me everything I needed to know in being female. ‘We weren’t allowed any mirrors in the house, which would explain how I do my make-up … and the fact I look like I’ve slept in a skip.

Claudia, 44, said that her mother – who is an author and a former editor of several tabloid newspapers – used to stress the importance of being intelligent, rather than looking good.
The TV host told the Daily Mail newspaper: “Read books, be funny, be clever, be chatty, this is how you make an omelette … She was, and still is, my role model.”
Sue, meanwhile, has praised her daughter for refusing to obsess about her looks, despite the scrutiny she is under.
She said: “I think it’s important to teach girls that they are people first and looks second. Frankly, mirrors are for brushing your teeth and that’s about it – and I hope this has stood her in good stead for her career now.
“Claudia works in one of the most vanity-obsessed industries and, yes, of course she uses the ‘Strictly’ facilities and the spray tan, but the basics are actually about her being silly, funny and smart when she needs to.
“When I see [pictures of her with make-up everywhere], I think ‘good for her’.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lydia Bright’s dog has died.
The 26-year-old television personality has taken to social media to break the heart wrenching news that her Patterdale terrier named Paddy has passed away, although the ‘Only Way Is Essex’ star has yet to confirm how her pet pooch lost his life.
The blonde beauty – who is currently in Austria training for the Channel 4 competition show ‘The Jump’ – shared an image of her furry friend on her Instagram account.
The caption read: “RIP my boy Paddy. Thank you for the years of love. (sic).”
Lydia’s mother, Debbie Bright, has also broadcasted the news of Paddy’s death, and hopes the family pet will be surrounded by “squeaky toys” in heaven.
She tweeted: “R.I.P Paddy Boy may heaven be raining with squeaky toys (sic).”
And Lydia’s younger brother, Freddie, has also taken to Twitter to share the news.
He said: “Rest in peace Paddy boy (sic).”
Lydia has been inundated with condolences by friends and fans who have left messages to console the reality star for her loss.
Fellow ITVBe cast mate, Amber Dowding, tweeted in response to Lydia’s post with a string of red heart emojis.
And Chloe Meadows, 24, commented on the Instagram upload: “This is so sad. So sorry Lyds (sic).”
This news comes a few months after Lydia’s co-star Pete Wicks lost his French Bulldog, Ernest, which left the 27-year-old tattooed hunk utterly “heartbroken”.
Alongside a picture of Pete playing with the canine, which was shared on his Instagram account, he wrote: “Words can’t describe how heartbroken I am to have suddenly lost one of the best things to have ever come in to my life. My boy Ernest wasn’t just a dog to me, he was my best friend. Things will never be the same. I’m thankful to him for teaching me a lot about myself and everything about unconditional love. He will always be in my heart. R.I.P Ernest #Wolfpack (sic).”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ray J will reportedly still get paid for his stint on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’.
The ‘One Wish’ hitmaker walked out of the infamous abode earlier this week in order to seek medical assistance for an infected tooth and, although it was believed he wouldn’t get his pre-agreed cheque for breaking the terms and conditions, bosses have said he will get the “balance due” and that it will be “in the high six figures”, according TMZ.
The 35-year-old singer threatened to sue bosses after he begged them to let him back into the abode following his treatment but they refused and axed him from the show.
Asked if he is considering suing, he said recently: “I’d never like to do that because I’m a producer as well and I like to be on the same page with everybody. But this is just not fair and if I have to take those precautions, I will.
“I don’t even care about my tooth, put me back in the house and let me work. This isn’t right. It’s wrong bro, it’s wrong. I’m going to drive myself to the dentist and get my tooth fixed and then pull back up to the house and try to get back in.”
Ray J sparked outrage earlier this week when he rocked up to Barnet General hospital in London and managed to jump a queue of 40 people in A&E to get his tooth seen to.
Tom, from Watford, Herts – who had rushed his 79-year-old mother to A&E because she was suffering from an acute chest infection – explained: “It was jam-packed with about 40 people in the waiting room and I spoke to one ambulance driver who was sat outside waiting to take his patient in. He said they had been waiting five hours to be seen. Then this private mini cab arrived and Ray J got out with his security who covered his head with a hood. He was taken straight through.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ola Jordan had to have a chunk of her muscle cut out of her leg after she injured her knee competing on ‘The Jump’ two years ago.
The former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ professional had to have emergency surgery on the joint at the beginning of 2015 after she took a tumble while taking part in the winter sports show and, although she’s now able to walk without a limp, she doesn’t think it’ll ever heal completely.
Speaking on ‘Loose Women’ on Thursday (12.01.17), Ola said: “I am OK, my leg is not 100 per cent, it’ll never be the same again. But it’s as good as it can get. I still get cramps in my leg because they’ve taken a piece of the hamstring out and put it through the knee. It’s not great but I can dance and that’s the main thing.”
And Ola isn’t the only one to experience life-changing injuries as a result of the programme as Beth Tweddle’s gymnastics career was temporarily put on hold last year after she ploughed into a barrier during training on the Austrian slopes and broke her back.
She’s now made a full recovery after undergoing surgery and physiotherapy but the same can’t be said for former ‘Holby City’ actress Tina Hobley as she is still struggling to dress herself after she broke her arm in two places, dislocated her elbow and injured her shoulder.
She said recently: “For much of the year I haven’t been able to drive, dress, wash my hair or have a bath unaided.
“My daughter has had to help me put my clothes on. And for months at a time I haven’t been able to take the kids to school, run errands, or do any of the things I love like yoga, cycling or walking any kind of distance. My injuries have had a huge impact on my life and on the family.”
Despite the amount of life-changing injuries sustained on the show, bosses were given the go-ahead to do another series this month.
Lydia Bright, Spencer Matthews, Vogue Williams, Caprice, Jake Quickenden, Josie Gibson and Amy Willerton are among the celebrities who have agreed to take part in the forthcoming series.

OHMYGOSSIP — Kym Marsh celebrates her late son Archie’s birthday every year and does everything she can to keep the tot’s memory alive.
The 40-year-old actress has opened up about the loss of her and her ex-husband Jamie Lomas’ baby who was born 18 weeks premature in February 2009 and died moments after entering the world in the wake of her heartbreaking performance as bereaved mother Michelle Connor in ‘Coronation Street’.
In scenes which aired on the ITV soap on Wednesday night (11.01.17), Michelle and her partner Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) were left devastated she suffered a late miscarriage and lost her baby prompting an outpouring of praise for their acting on social media from viewers.
Kym admits the storyline brought back lots of painful memories for her but she has revealed she does all she can to make Archie part of her family and urged any women going through the same tragedy to do the same.
Speaking on ‘This Morning’, the brunette star – who has grown-up children David and Emilie from her previous relationship with Dave Cunliffe and five-year-old daughter Polly from her marriage to Jamie – said: “I gave birth to my son, he was in my arms, he was here … We celebrate Archie’s birthday every year, and I do very much mean celebrate the fact that he was a part of or life. Polly knows all about him, she’s almost six now, but she knows who Archie is and she knows he was her brother. We all see Polly very much as a gift from Archie because what happened to me showed me that something was wrong and without knowing that something was wrong nobody would’ve intervened and helped along the way with Polly. We celebrate him so much, and so we should, our baby was here.”
Kym also participated in a phone-in with hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby and agony aunt Deidre Sanders for mothers who have lost children.
Responding to one caller whom shared that she was finding it hard to return to her job working with kids following the loss of her child, Kym revealed going back to work on ‘Corrie’ helped her find some “normality” in her life.
She said: “It is a jigsaw puzzle … going back to work helped me, that feeling of getting back to normality. It’s like life is going on around you and you’re just stuck in this hole and you can’t get out.”
Kym also revealed her “gut instinct” was to go ahead with the plotline, as even though she knew it would be emotionally tough for her it would help lots of bereaved parents watching at home.
She said: “My gut instinct was to do it, the reason is since losing Archie I’ve spoken to so many other women and men in similar situations and worked with organisations … I just thought what better way to raise awareness than to do this.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Nick Knowles had to have an emergency operation after he burst an artery in his nose.
The ‘DIY SOS’ host has worked hard to overhaul his life by taking up yoga, giving up meat and going without food for an entire week after he was rushed to hospital with a nosebleed.
Speaking on ‘Good Morning Britain’ on Thursday (12.01.17), he said: “A year and a half ago I was really, really, unwell. I was carrying a lot of stress from work and things. Actually on my way to these studios to do a pilot for a new show I sneezed in the back of a taxi and burst an artery in my sinuses. It wasn’t just a nose bleed – I had to have an emergency operation to get it sorted out.”
Although he’s managed to get his health under control, the 54-year-old presenter’s personal life has hit rock bottom as him and his wife Jessica Rose Moor, with whom he has two-year-old son Edie, have just announced that their marriage is over completely after their reunion in November.
The couple – who lost a baby last year – split in January 2016 but attempted to give their relationship another go three months ago with the help of marriage counselling after they came back together when Jessica was diagnosed with cervical cancer in July.
But their reunion didn’t work out and they’ve decided to go their separate ways, although they’re adamant they will always remain amicable for the sake of their little boy Edie.
Jessica said earlier this week: “People are confused by how well we get on. And the truth is we get a long really well, as at the end of the day we can say we tried really hard. More date nights, counselling, less time together, more time together. and when you look at each other at the end of the day when you know you gave it your all there’s no anger left there, no animosity.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jamie O’Hara thinks he’s an “animal in bed.”
The 30-year-old footballer – who has three children Archie, six, Harry, five, and George, three, with his ex-wife Danielle Lloyd – may have come across as one of the quieter guys in the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house so far but he has warned that his skills in the bedroom department will blow Stacy Francis’ mind.
Speaking to the American singer while paddling in the jacuzzi on Wednesday (11.01.17) night, he said: “I’m an animal, I’m an animal. Listen I might play Mr Nice Guy here mate but you get me in bed I’m a different kettle of fish.”
Intrigued by his statement, Stacey screeched: “Can I see? Let me find out please!”
The former ‘X Factor USA’ star has made no secret of the fact she has a soft spot for the athlete but it seems her added excitement may be down to the fact she’s “horny.”
But her sexual remarks have become too much for her fellow contestants to take as ‘Loose Women’ panellist Coleen Nolan urged her to relieve herself in the bathroom.
She said: “Stop it, you horny little b****. Well go and sort yourself out in the bathroom.”
To which Stacy replied: “I want him [Jamie] to sort me out in the bathroom.”
And it’s not just Stacy who has taken a fancy to Jamie as Jasmine Waltz – who has also been trying it on with Calum Best – has admitted she is attracted to him.
Nicola McLean – who is the longtime rival of Jamie’s ex-wife Danielle – sparked outrage earlier this week when she begged the hunk for a smooch, despite being married.
However, it seems it was just the booze talking as the 35-year-old glamour model spent the next day talking with a psychiatrist because she felt so bad about her behaviour.
Nicola has two sons Striker and Rocky with her husband Tom Williams.
