OHMYGOSSIP — Graham Norton has urged Piers Morgan to “grow a pair” following his feud with Ewan McGregor.
The 51-year-old ‘Good Morning Britain’ host hit out at the ‘T2 Trainspotting’ actor earlier this week after he refused to appear on the breakfast programme when Piers made controversial comments about the women’s marches following Donald Trumps’ Presidential inauguration.
In an article he wrote for the Daily Mail earlier this week, Piers said he was “planning a men’s march to protest at the creeping global emasculation of my gender by rabid feminists”.
This prompted Ewan, 45, to tweet: “Was going on Good Morning Britain, didn’t realise @piersmorgan was host. Won’t go on with him after his comments about #WomensMarch (sic)”
Piers responded: “A real man would have come on and debated it with me, not run away like a coward.”
Now, Graham – who has managed to secure Ewan as a guest on ‘his own The Graham Norton Show’ – has told Piers to grow up, but admitted the feud never came up in conversation when Ewan was on his show.
He told RadioTimes.com: “We didn’t discuss Piers Morgan because there’s nothing to discuss.
“You describe it as a fracas. It’s only a fracas in Piers Morgan’s mind.
“It is funny that he talks about millennial snowflakes and yet a man didn’t agree to come on his show and he’s been tweeting about it non-stop for 48 hours. Really, grow a pair.”
Whilst fans of Ewan won’t be able to catch him on the breakfast show any time soon, he will appear on ‘The Graham Norton Show’ on Friday January 27 at 10:35pm on BBC One.

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicola McLean could face emergency eye surgery when she leaves the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house.
The 25-year-old former glamour model sparked concern among fans after she was seen covering one eye during an argument with Kim Woodburn, and has been sporting dark glasses in the mornings and evenings, and it has now emerged she learned before entering the famous abode she has developed a sensitivity to light.
And though she sought medical attention before going on the show, her condition is believed to be getting worse and she “can’t control” her peepers, so may need to undergo corrective surgery.
A source told The Sun Online: “She can’t control her eye.
“It keeps going off in all different directions and wandering towards her nose.
“It causes her terrible migraines,” they added.
“She suffers from light sensitivity which is why she wears dark glasses in the morning and evening, and she has to wear special contacts with dark lenses throughout the day.
“This is only a recent development but the eye surgeon has warned her that she may soon need surgery to sort it all out.”
According to the insider, Nicola previously underwent an eye operation when she was a child.
A spokesperson for Nicola – who has sons Rocky and Striker with her husband Tom Williams – confirmed she has seen a specialist about her problem.
They said: “Nicola visited an eye surgeon last month before discovering she suffers from light sensitivity.”
The blonde beauty’s issue has attracted attention on Twitter, with some users even questioning whether her “gammy” eye is actually glass, and her friends think she’ll be distraught if she ever reads the message as she didn’t think her problem was noticeable.
The source said: “She’s received tonnes of abuse on Twitter and she’ll be so upset.
“Nicola didn’t think it was that bad or that anyone would notice.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lucy Mecklenburgh will support her ex-boyfriend Louis Smith on ‘The Jump’.
The 25-year-old fitness guru split up with the Olympic gymnast last year following less than a year of dating but she’s proved there are no hard feelings between the pair as she will be cheering him on when he takes to the slopes for the winter sports show.
She explained: “I’ll be supporting him. I know that it’s something he’s always wanted to do for a long time. Because of his gymnastics background, he’ll really enjoy it.”
But it’s not just the 27-year-old heartthrob she’ll be tuning in to watch whiz around on skis as her best friend Lydia Bright has also signed up to take part in the competition.
She added to Star magazine: “(I think she’ll do really well.) She loves skiing – she’s turned into an adrenaline junkie lately. I can’t wait to watch it.”
Once ‘The Jump’ wraps up next month, the 26-year-old blonde beauty will return to the show that made her famous ‘The Only Way is Essex’ and Lucy has admitted she’s open to making a cameo appearance after she quit the series four years ago.
She said: “I’ve always said I’d consider a cameo role in a scene with Lyds, but I don’t think I can ever see myself as a full-time cast member again.”
The brunette beauty is currently focusing on her fitness brand Results With Lucy and her various collaborations with fashion giants as well as her own boutique but she has admitted she’d “absolutely love” to settle down and have children in the future.
Asked if she wants to have a baby, she said: “Not right now, no. I’m only 25 and I’m so busy that it’s not my priority. I absolutely love loves, though so one day.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ben Price has quit ‘Coronation Street’.
The 45-year-old actor has decided to bow out of the long-running soap as Nick Tilsley following seven years on the show for “personal” reasons and because he wants to spend more time with his wife Alexandra and their two children, daughter Paloma, 10, and seven-year-old son Max.
Of his decision to call it quits, Ben told the Daily Mirror: “‘Coronation Street’ has been the most significant part of my career and I have had a fantastic seven years here.
“The decision to leave is purely personal – I want to spend more time with my family.
“I have been supported by a terrific cast and crew and have had the most glorious storylines and for that I am most grateful.”
His character as Gail Platt’s eldest son – which was previously portrayed by Warren Jackson and Adam Rickitt prior to Ben joining in 2009 – will be written out of the ITV soap in an explosive storyline, which will reportedly air over the summer, and see him leave the cobbles after his lover Leanne Battersby [Jane Danson] reveals Steve McDonald [Simon Gregson] is the father of her child, while Steve’s wife Michelle [Kym Marsh] asks for divorce.
‘Corrie’ bosses are keeping tight-lipped over the plot and whether Nick will be killed off, simply teasing it will be a “dramatic exit”.
The soap’s Executive Producer, Kieran Roberts commented: “We fully respect Ben’s decision to leave ‘Coronation Street’.
“As Nick he has been the centre of some of the biggest plots of the last seven years.
“He is valued member of cast who will be greatly missed but we still have many months of great storylines with him leading to his dramatic exit later this year.”
Ben’s departure follows Tisha Merry calling it quits in December, the 23-year-old star is to leave her role as Weatherfield bistro waitress Steph Britton following three years on the show to try her hand at something new.
A source said at the time:”Tish has had an amazing couple of years where she’s been at the forefront of some of ‘Corrie’s biggest storylines, but feels it’s now time for a change.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Alex Jones has given birth to a baby boy.
The ‘One Show’ host announced the news live on TV by phoning into the BBC studios during Thursday’s (26.01.17) show on BBC One to tell presenters Matt Baker and her maternity cover Angela Scanlon that she had delivered a healthy little bundle of joy – her first child with husband Charlie Thomson – on Sunday (22.01.17), weighing 7lb 11, and that they are yet decided on a name.
She said: “We’re absolutely delighted – we’re completely in love with him.”
Asked if they’d chosen a suitable moniker yet, she added: “We’re a bit behind on the whole names thing!”
Talking about the “straightforward” birth, she said: “It was all very straightforward, Charlie was with me, mum and dad were in the waiting room – because we didn’t know whether it was a boy or a girl.
“So that was a lovely bit of news.
“The last four days have been heaven – we’re in a bubble, the three of us, and it’s just the best time.”
The 39-year-old beauty confirmed she was expecting her first child with her spouse – whom she married last year at Cardiff Castle in Wales – at the beginning of September last year and had only been on maternity leave for 20 days before she gave birth.
Announcing their baby joy, Alex said: “Charlie & I are very happy to confirm that we’re expecting a baby in the new year. Feel so lucky that we’re about to become parents. Xx. (sic)”
Alex uploaded a photograph of a white baby grow with “coming soon” emblazoned across it, and added: “Absolutely delighted and feel very lucky that we’re about to become parents. #andbreatheout #newbabyalert (sic)”
Alex’s baby news came just a few months after she admitted she was worried she may have left it too late to have kids as her mother went through early menopause.
She said: “It’s useful to know because we shouldn’t hang about, but at the end of the day, what can you do? You hope it will happen. It might, it might not.
“The more pressure you put on yourself, the worse it becomes, because the one thing you want gets further out of reach. I haven’t chosen to leave it until I’m 39 – that is the situation I have found myself in.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lorraine Kelly ripped her dress just minutes before she was due to walk the red carpet at the National Television Awards on Wednesday (25.01.17).
The 57-year-old presenter was forced to find a new frock at the last minute after she accidentally pierced her “showstopper” gown with the heel of her shoe just before she was about to make her way to the glamorous event at London’s O2 Arena.
Speaking on her breakfast show ‘Lorraine’ on Thursday (26.01.17), she said: “I had a real showstopper of a dress lined up. It was white and shimmery but I put my heel straight through the fabric. That was a big lesson. Don’t put your heels on before your dress. I couldn’t believe it. The car was literally waiting for me outside.”
However, the brunette beauty still managed to look stunning as she had a golden satin frock she could slip on lying in her wardrobe just in case of emergencies.
She said: “Always have a spare dress in your wardrobe. You’ve got to have a plan B.”
Lorraine’s show was up for Best Live Magazine alongside ‘BBC Breakfast’, ‘Loose Women’ and ‘The One Show’ but all four unfortunately missed out to ‘This Morning’.

OHMYGOSSIP — Jessica Wright and Bruno Langley were spotted leaving the National Television Awards’ after-party on Wednesday (25.01.17) night hand-in-hand.
‘The Only Way Is Essex’ star and ‘Coronation Street’ actor sparked rumours they’d hooked up at the glitzy ceremony, held at London’s O2 Arena, after they were pictured leaving a celebratory bash in the capital a little too close for comfort.
A witness told The Sun Online the pair looked “very close” and “extremely friendly” when they broke away from the crowd and relaxed together near the smoking area.
And it’s thought 31-year-old Jess – who attended the awards with her mum and dad Carol and Mark – was introduced to the 33-year-old actor earlier on in the night through her sister-in-law and ex-‘Corrie’ actress Michelle Keegan and the pair hit it off.
The brunette beauty is reportedly keen to settle down and won’t waste time with anyone who isn’t “worth it”.
Another insider told the publication: “Jess has been single for a long time because she’s waiting for the perfect romance. She takes her love life very seriously and wouldn’t waste her time with anyone who wasn’t worth it.”
And Jess could be just the right woman for Bruno – who has a nine-year-old son called Freddie with his ex Victoria Roscoe – as he’s struggled to find love because girls think they’re dating his on-screen character Todd.
He said: “It’s tough anyway for everyone but this just makes it tougher. You have to use your initiative when it comes to knowing who to trust. I went on this date, she was a really pretty girl, she sat down and the first thing she said was, ‘I’m such a big fan of Corrie’. I couldn’t believe it, that’s it, it was finished because she thinks I’m someone else, she thinks she’s dating Todd. It’s tough.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Holly Willoughby had to borrow Rochelle Humes’ shoes for the National Television Awards.
The ‘This Morning’ presenter was left in a fluster last night (25.01.17) when she realised she had forgotten her killer heels for the glamorous event, held at London’s O2 Arena, and had to try and track someone down in a nearby hotel that could lend her a pair of stilettos at the last minute.
Speaking on the breakfast show on Thursday (26.01.17), she said: “My stylist who helps me get dressed, was like, ‘Where’s your shoes?’ I was like, ‘Yeah, right, you’ve got the shoes.’ I was like, ‘There must be somebody in this hotel with some spare shoes. I saw Tess Daly’s stylist walking in. Call Vernon [Kay, her husband].’ So we called Vernon and Tess said no she hasn’t got any but she’s sure Rochelle is in my hotel.
“We didn’t have Rochelle’s number so we rung Marvin [Humes, her husband] and Marvin went, ‘Rochelle, darling, babe, I know you’re pregnant but have you got any spare shoes?’ And she did. But they weren’t the right size. And I was like anything that’s between a size 4 and 8 I’m happy with right now because I’m going down with Gazelles trainers, which is not a good look.”
The blonde beauty and her co-star Phillip Schofield hit the headlines last year after they rocked up to work the next day still drunk from the night before and, although they promised they wouldn’t get in that state again, they did suggest they’d get matching tattoos.
Rylan Clark-Neal said: “You did say you wanted to get a tattoo. You said, ‘I might have a little star for ‘This Morning’ and I’ll put it here or maybe here.’
“So we do have a tattoo artist downstairs. He’s ready and waiting if either of you want to get the tattoo seeing as you did promise the nation.”
But the popular presenting duo declined the offer because “the moment has past.”
Phillip added: “Apparently the team did phone up one tattoo artist up last night who said ‘Yeah I’ve had a bit of wine but if you get me a cab, I can come in.’ ”

The 24-year-old beauty didn’t seem to have any problem with the cold as she paced the red carpet with her on/off boyfriend Lewis Bloor in sub-zero temperatures.

Jacqueline Jossa – who plays Lauren Branning in ‘EastEnders’ – had no issues showing off her cleavage in a bust-enhancing floor-length gown, while ‘The Only Way is Essex’s Chloe Sims left nothing to the imagination with her thigh-high split dress.
Kate Wright looked jaw-dropping in an off-the-shoulder skin-tight satin frock but appeared to be a little glum as she rubbed shoulders with her ex-boyfriend Dan Edgar.
Megan McKenna, on the other hand, couldn’t contain her smiles as she cosied up to her partner Pete ‘The Pirate’ Wicks’ before they made their way into the venue.

OHMYGOSSIP — Piers Morgan was gagged and booed as he presented an award at the National Television Awards on Wednesday night (25.01.17).
The 51-year-old TV star was greeted with hisses as he walked on stage with his ‘Good Morning Britain’ co-host Susanna Reid, who had covered Piers’ mouth with black tape after his remarks about the recent Women’s Marches led actor Ewan McGregor to cancel a scheduled appearance on the breakfast programme.
The 46-year-old beauty said: “It’s been a controversial week on ‘Good Morning Britain’. We’ve had tears, we’ve had tantrums – we’ve even had a walkout.
“So I’ve done what people have been urging me to do for some time … I’ve finally gagged Piers Morgan. Just enjoying this moment.”
But speaking on the red carpet at the O2 Arena in London, Piers said that Ewan, 45, should “have it out” with him rather than simply refusing to appear on the programme.
He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “We’re in a bizarre world where things happen and social media goes nuts.
“But, look, I like to debate things with people.
“I have an opinion and people are of course entitled to theirs, but if they don’t like what I’ve got to say then let’s have a debate about it.
“His behaviour was odd. We weren’t even gonna mention the Women’s March. Come on have it out with me, I say – be a man, Ewan!”

Piers confirmed: “Ewan McGregor was meant to be the main guest on today’s show, but he has decided not to turn up.”
But the actor was quick to hit back via social media, writing on Twitter: “Was going on Good Morning Britain, didn’t realise @piersmorgan was host. Won’t go on with him after his comments about #WomensMarch (sic)”
Piers responded: “A real man would have come on and debated it with me, not run away like a coward.”
