Steven Spielberg's firm buys Ruthless

OHMYGOSSIP — Steven Spielberg’s company has bought the rights to ‘Ruthless’ for a six-figure sum.
The movie has been the hot topic of conversation all week as producers and studios were desperate to get their hands on the project, but things have now come to a halt as Amblin Partners – co-founded by the director – recently purchased the rights to the film, according to Deadline.
Brad Peyton is reportedly attached to direct the action flick when the ball starts rolling in due course, while John Swetnam has penned the female-driven action spec script.
The script, which is based on the journey of a retired assassin who is diagnosed with terminal brain cancer and must return to her former life and complete one final job in order to safeguard her daughter’s future, has already been likened to ‘John Wick: Chapter 2’ due to its female protagonist.
Swetnam previously penned ‘Into the Storm’, ‘Step Up All In’ and wrote anddirected ‘Breaking Through’.
Meanwhile, Weimaraner Republic Pictures and ‘The Shallows’ producers Matti Leshem and Lynn Harris are expected to produce ‘Ruthless’ along with Tripp Vinson and Peyton’s producing partner Jeff Fierson of ASAP Entertainment, while Tara Farney is to be executive producer.

Joe Carnahan to direct remake of The Raid

OHMYGOSSIP — Joe Carnahan is set to direct the remake of ‘The Raid’.
The 47-year-old producer – who worked at the helm of 2011 movie ‘The Grey’ and 2006’s ‘Smoking Aces’ – will return to the director’s chair this year when he teams up with Frank Grillo for the “re-imagination” of the martial arts action survival film.
But, although he’s excited about his forthcoming project, Carnahan has big shoes to fill as bosses are planning to put an American spin on the foreign original.
However, he already stands in good stead as Gareth Evans – who directed the original six years ago – has given him his blessing to tinker around with it.
Carnahan tweeted: “THE RAID remake will hew closer in tone & feel to THE GREY and NARC.@Ghuevans is producing alongside & has given us his full blessing. It’s not a remake. It’s a reimagining of the same scenario. Everybody take a deep breath. We won’t disappoint you, rabid-fanboy-from-Hell” (sic).
And whilst some fans might be worried that the film will be a flop considering the success of the first, Carnahan has stressed that it will be something “special.”
He explained: “You can’t remake The Raid, guys. It’s a fantastic film. So, ask yourselves why would we be doing it, unless we had something really special. Frank Grillo and I are going to sit down with @colliderfrosty this week, do an in-depth and then all your fears will be allayed #theraid” (sic).
The project, which has been in the pipeline for many years, was cancelled in 2015 after Screen Gems, ‘The Expendables 3’ director Patrick Hughes and potential star Taylor Kitsch all dropped out as the studio struggled to get more talent on board.

Jared Leto confirms directorial debut for 77

OHMYGOSSIP — Jared Leto is set to direct police thriller film ’77’.
The 45-year-old actor has teamed up with Paramount Pictures to direct his first feature film based on James Ellroy’s original screenplay ‘L.A Confidential’, although the script has been revised by David Matthews – who has worked on ‘Narcos’ and ‘Boardwalk Empire’ – according to Deadline.
The ‘Suicide Squad’ actor – who is known for playing the role as the Joker in the fantasy film alongside Margot Robbie, Will Smith and Cara Delevingne – has previously directed the documentary ‘Artifact’, which won an award at the 2012 Toronto Film Festival, and he’s had plenty of experience directing music videos and commercials under the pseudonym Bartholomew Cubbins.
Leto confirmed the news on Twitter as he posted a link to the story confirming the news, which he captioned: “Jared Leto To Direct Thriller ’77’ For Paramount (sic).”
The film is set in 1974 with a politically charged Los Angeles as its backdrop, and the plot follows two police officers on their mission to recover kidnapped heiress Patty Hearst, whilst also investigating the brutal murder of a fellow police officer.
Hearst hid in Los Angeles with her Symbionese Liberation Army kidnappers but managed to escape before six SLA members were gunned down in a shoot-out with the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).
Leto is also producing the film alongside writer and co-producer Dick Wolf and Wolf Films’ Tony Ganz.
Emma Ludbrook – who works with Leto under their company Paradox – is on hand to executive produce the forthcoming production.
Leto won a Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for ‘Dallas Buyers Club’ and can next be seen in ‘Blade Runner 2049’ opposite Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling.

Pam St. Clement to return to Casualty

OHMYGOSSIP — Pam St. Clement is set to return to ‘Casualty’ next month.
The 74-year-old actress – who was known for playing big-earring lover Pat Butcher in the long-running soap ‘EastEnders’ until her alter ego’s tragic death in 2011 – will reprise her role as Sally Hodge in the medical drama series within the next few weeks.
Although producers are remaining tight lipped on how long the moody patient will be around for, it’s known that her dash to accident and emergency is caused by an explosion.
The series producer Erika Hossington told Inside Soap magazine: “Pam St Clement is returning. Her character literally causes an explosion, and that will be airing in March.”
Pam first made an appearance in the popular show last August when she guest-starred in the feature-length special episode ‘Too Old for This Shift’ and her miserable character wreaked havoc for head nurse Charlie Fairhead (Derek Thompson).
Despite their fraught relationship at first, the pair managed to bond when it became apparent her abdominal pain was caused by lithopaedion – a rare phenomenon which occurs most commonly when a foetus dies during an abdominal pregnancy and the body fails to remove it naturally – and she informed him of her traumatic past.
Sally tearfully told Charlie that she had fallen pregnant as a youngster and self-aborted her child, while telling people at the time that she had actually miscarried.
Meanwhile, Pam’s return isn’t the only thing bosses have in the pipeline as Erika has also teased that there will be a huge factory fire and a major incident inside the hospital.
She explained: “Other than that, we have a factory fire coming up, and a stunt late on in April where someone gets run over. This will be shocking because of who it is. We’re also planning a really big falling stunt from within the hospital towards the end of the series.”

Jamie O'Hara wants ex-girlfriend back

OHMYGOSSIP — Jamie O’Hara desperately wants to get back together with his ex-girlfriend.
The 30-year-old out-of-action footballer may have been trying it on with Bianca Gascoigne inside the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house last month, but he has admitted his heart is with his former flame Elizabeth-Jayne Tierney and he’ll do anything to win her back after he dumped the blonde bombshell after leaving the infamous abode.
Taking to his Twitter account, he said: “The reason I left it with Bianca was because after I got out and sat down and looked at the whole situation I realised that it wasn’t for me, I have a lot going on in my life and she had a boyfriend and he was devastated about the situation. I didn’t know the full extent of the situation until I got out and saw everything, as a man I didn’t think it was the right thing to do, I didn’t do anything wrong I didn’t make any gain out of it. As for my ex we split up a while ago, I reached out to her because I realised she’s an incredible person and having time apart made me realise what an amazing woman she is and I was lucky to have her in my life. Will she be with me again? I don’t know, but as a man all I can do is try.”
And it looks like his bid to win back Elizabeth could be working as the pair have been cosying up to one another while holidaying in Dubai recently.
A source told the MailOnline: “Jamie has been sharing Snapchat videos of him cosying up to Elizabeth on their romantic break. They remained close before his time on ‘CBB’ despite claiming to have been broken up. It’s quite hypocritical, especially because of his reaction to Bianca revealing she had a boyfriend on the show.”
Jamie – who has three children Archie, six, Harry, five, and George, three, with his ex-wife Danielle Lloyd – hit the headlines earlier this month when he dramatically dumped Bianca, 30, without telling her first – just days after they were released from the house.
She said recently: “I totally respect his decision, obviously children should always come first. It would have been more respectful to hear the news from him first rather than reading about it in the newspapers.”
However, Bianca isn’t completely innocent herself as she came under fire earlier this month when it was revealed she had been in a relationship with cage fighter CJ Meeks when she entered the abode at the beginning of January.

Kirk Norcross' girlfriend is in labour

OHMYGOSSIP — Kirk Norcross’ pregnant girlfriend has gone into labour.
The former ‘The Only Way is Essex’ star has revealed his partner – whose identity is not yet known – is in the process of giving birth to their little boy after they made a dash to the hospital this morning (16.02.17) because she was experiencing contractions.
Taking to his Twitter account, Kirk said: “He’s on his waaaaaay!!!! (sic).”
He then followed it up with a picture of him and his girlfriend getting some shut eye before their world becomes full of bottles, nappies and a screaming baby.
He accompanied the shot with: “The waiting game now!!! he’s on his way! (sic)”
Once the little one arrives, he will be the second child Kirk has fathered within in a year.
The 28-year-old hunk’s former girlfriend Holli gave birth to their daughter Violett last year but they split shortly afterwards and they have since been locked in a bitter feud.
Kirk has claimed Holli has blocked him from seeing Violett since she found out he was expecting a child with another woman and he has shared a series of emotional messages on Twitter over the last month in a bid to gain access to his little girl.
Alongside a collage of pictures of him with Violett, he wrote: Miss my daughter so much!!!,” followed by a sad emoji and a purple heart.
A few weeks prior to that touching post, Kirk took a swipe at Holli for her actions.
He said: “Ha People commenting on stuff they no nothing about FYI a mum should never stop a dad see his daughter just because she got the Hump wid him (sic).”
But Kirk isn’t the only one who has used the social networking site to share his side of the story as Holli has also lashed out at him for getting someone else pregnant.
She said: “So just had a bit of news via TEXT message couldn’t even be man enough to tell me face to face! Your having another baby by some random!
“Due in Feb! Couldn’t even wait couple months after violett was born to start f***ing someone else. So good luck to whoever you are who is having his baby in February hope you wernt expecting much out of him! (sic).”

Miranda Hart was 'too ill' to return to Call the Midwife

OHMYGOSSIP — Miranda Hart was “too ill” to return to ‘Call the Midwife’ last year.
The 44-year-old actress was meant to reprise her role as the beloved Chummy in the medical drama for the festive special and the current on-going series six but the show was thrown into chaos at the latter end of last year when she pulled out of the programme at the last minute due to a mystery ailment.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper at a stand-up comedy gig on Tuesday (14.02.17) night, she said: “I don’t feel myself at the moment because I was ill last year and I wasn’t able to exercise.”
Miranda’s cancellation meant that the show’s creator Heidi Thomas had to frantically re-write the episodes based around Chummy – who fled London’s East End in series four – weeks before filming.
She announced the news to her fans at the time: “It’s with a heavy heart that having shared Chummy’s return to CTM, I’ve not been able to give birth (pun) the schedule to make it work. (sic)”
Miranda also turned down the chance to star in the remake of the classic ‘Up Pompeii’ for the BBC’s Sitcom Season last year due to the illness and, as a result, the revival was scrapped.
A spokesperson for the BBC said at the time: “Earlier in the year a number of scripts were developed and considered for the BBC One revivals as part of Sitcom Season, including ‘Up Pompeii!’ Unfortunately the desired cast weren’t all available to film in time for the season. We wouldn’t rule out revisiting it in the future.”
She was also tipped to front the remake of ‘The Generation Game’ – another project she had to put on hold – and pulled out of hosting the ‘Royal Variety Performance’ in December.
A source said at the time: “Everyone was thrilled when Miranda agreed to host the ‘Royal Variety Performance’, but sadly it now seems it isn’t to be.
“It is a charity event so the hosts don’t get paid, but they’re always falling over themselves to do it because it’s seen as such a huge honour to be asked. It’s probably about as high profile as it gets.”
Although Miranda has had somewhat of a tough time recently, she is now fit and well.
A spokesperson said: “Miranda has a wealth of upcoming projects.”

Broadchurch scripts given 'code names' to maintain secrecy

OHMYGOSSIP — Sarah Parish says ‘Broadchurch’ scripts are given “code names” to maintain secrecy.
The 48-year-old actress – known for appearing in BBC sci-fi drama ‘Doctor Who’ and Sky 1 comedy series ‘Trollied’ – will join the popular ITV crime drama for its final series later this month, and has said the need to keep plot details under wraps was so intense there was even security placed on the scripts.
She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “All scripts have a code name and there is a different writer’s name. Our names are printed throughout the script and often the top actors have code names too, so people don’t come to the set.”
It isn’t just the cast – which includes David Tennant and Olivia Coleman returning as Detective Inspector Alec Hardy and Detective Sergeant Ellie Miller respectively – that have to work on keeping plot details a secret, as producer Dan Winch admitted he’s often “paranoid” about leaving hard copies of scripts lying around.
He said: “We send out scripts on email and everyone has a unique password. I’m so paranoid I will leave my hard copy script around I shred them after script meetings so I just have them on digital.
“Everything is watermarked and the sides each day have your name on them, but we have had some near misses where people have left them lying around by accident.”
And Dan revealed one occasion where they were forced to take the extreme measure of shutting down an email account for fear of scripts being discovered.
He added: “We had someone who went on holiday and their laptop got stolen somewhere in Europe and we had to shut down and change the email addresses for that person.
“We take everything really seriously and for the right reasons to make sure for that launch we won’t have given away anything that will ruin the journey.
“All the scenes that have involved quite dark, quite sensitive emotional content, it wouldn’t be appropriate for those pages to be flying around at the farm shop we have been at on various occasions, so we are just careful and make sure we do everything we can possibly do to maintain that secrecy and suspense.”
‘Broadchurch’ will return to ITV at 9pm on February 27.

Mel Gibson eyed to direct Suicide Squad 2

OHMYGOSSIP — Mel Gibson is reportedly being courted to direct ‘Suicide Squad 2’.
The 61-year-old star is wanted by Warner Bros. to helm the follow-up to the 2016 superhero movie, which starred the likes of Will Smith and Margot Robbie and was directed by David Ayer.
Mel is currently familiarising himself with the material and weighing up the opportunity, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
However, the movie studio is also looking at other directors, with Daniel Espinosa named among the possible alternatives.
The first ‘Suicide Squad’ movie received mixed reviews from critics but a sequel was rendered inevitable thanks to its box office earnings of more than $745 million worldwide.
However, as David Ayer is now developing ‘Gotham City Sirens’, which is based on the comic book series of the same name, the studio has been left trying to find a new director.
And following his success with ‘Hacksaw Ridge’, Mel has recently found himself in demand once again.
He has, in fact, received a number of attractive offers in recent months, including the chance to star alongside Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg for Paramount’s ‘Daddy’s Home 2’, while he has also secured a part in the crime thriller ‘Dragged Across Concrete’.
Earlier this week, meanwhile, Viola Davis said her role in ‘Suicide Squad’ has given her the “clout” to pursue a diverse range of projects.
The actress said that her appearance as intelligence officer Amanda Waller in the DC Extended Universe film has proven she can be a “bankable” star.
She explained: “Being part of the DC Universe gives you the clout that affords you to do the projects you want, because you have to be bankable. You have to thin that way in this business. Because it is a business.”

Hugh Jackman 'didn't compromise' making Logan

OHMYGOSSIP — Hugh Jackman “didn’t compromise on anything” when making ‘Logan’.
The 48-year-old will be making his eighth and final outing as the mutant Wolverine from the ‘X-Men’ franchise in the upcoming Marvel Comics movie, and has said he gave the project “everything” he had in order to make it something to remember.
He told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “There is not a frame of this film where I can say I didn’t put everything into it. I couldn’t have made this film if I didn’t make the decision within myself that this was the last one.
“I just didn’t compromise on anything. I was a pain to a lot of people, because I don’t get another shot at this. This is a character I love. I owe my career to this character.”
The Hollywood star was so determined to put everything into the project that he even opted to get a reduced salary to help convince 20th Century Fox to keep the film – the third and final instalment of the ‘Wolverine’ solo trilogy – at the R rating it was given.
Aint It Cool News’ Eric Vespe tweeted recently: “[James] Mangold [the director] said that Hugh Jackman took a salary cut because he wanted to do an R-rated movie.”
R-rated films tend to earn less at the box office because only older viewers can buy tickets as the “R” stands for “Restricted”, meaning anyone under 17 requires an accompanying parent or adult guardian with them.
Meanwhile, director James Mangold recently claimed the movie feels like “the end” of the clawed superhero, as whilst there will “always” be room for more stories in the franchise, he believes ‘Logan’ ties up many loose ends and says “what needs to be said”.
Asked if the movie provides a definitive conclusion to The Wolverine’s story, James said: “There’s always a way to tell more stories, but the fact is we worked very hard to craft a tale that makes you feel like this is the end and that we’ve said what needs to be said.”

Chris Tarrant fancies Beyonce

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Tarrant has a crush on Beyonce.
The 70-year-old presenter – who lives with partner Jane Bird and has daughters Helen and Jennifer with first wife Sheila, and children Sammy and Toby and step-kids Dexter and Fia with second spouse Ingrid Dupre-Walsh – admits the pop superstar is out of his league, but he has been a huge fan of hers for years.
Asked who his celebrity crush is, he said: “Beyonce. I might be punching above my weight a bit.
“If I told my kids, they’d go, ‘Father, are you having a laugh?’
“I loved her in Destiny’s Child, I think she’s just this beautiful woman and she makes great records.”
The ‘Railways That Built Britain’ host has met a lot of famous women over the years, and an encounter with ABBA’s Agnetha Faltskog left him lost for words.
He said: “Yes [I’ve been starstruck], with Agnetha from ABBA.
“When they were at their peak, I went to meet her for this TV show and I just stood there with my mouth opening and closing.”
Despite his years of success as a presenter and DJ, Chris is more proud of the way he has raised his kids than anything else.
Asked his greatest achievement, he told Woman’s Own magazine: “I honestly think bringing up my army of kids as really nice, unspoiled, balanced, very intelligent people is probably what I’m best at. Their life has been complicated and they have all been in the press a lot but they’re just really good people. There’s a great bond of love between me and all six of them.”

Lee Ryan joins EastEnders

OHMYGOSSIP — Lee Ryan has joined the cast of ‘EastEnders’.
The Blue singer is swapping the recording studio for the small screen after he landed the role of bad boy Woody.
He told The Sun: “I’m so excited to be part of the show. Woody is the best role I could have wished for.
“He’s a brilliant character and it’s clear he’s led a colourful life. Everyone at ‘EastEnders’ has been so welcoming.”
Executive Producer, Sean O’Connor said: “I’m delighted to welcome Lee Ryan to Walford as ‘Woody’ Woodward.
“Woody is a man who has worked hard and played hard in bars, clubs and pubs around the world and has finally decided to stop wandering and put down some roots.
“He’s going to ruffle some feathers and obviously break some hearts, so there’s a great deal to look forward to as soon as he bursts onto the square.
“Lee is a perfect casting for Albert Square and we knew straight away we wanted him for the role.”
Lee’s character is expected to appear on screens within the next few weeks.
However, he is not the only Blue member to feature on a soap, bandmate Duncan James is currently winning new fans as Ryan Knight on ‘Hollyoaks’ and Simon Webbe was cast as Andy Cousins in BBC Scotland saga ‘River City’ last year.

Mario Falcone set for TOWIE return

OHMYGOSSIP — Mario Falcone is returning to ‘The Only Way Is Essex’.
The 28-year-old hunk left the show that made him famous two years ago, after he was suspended for promoting slimming pills. but he is set for a sensational return this year.
A source told The Sun Online: “Mario has been quite keen to come back for a while and ‘TOWIE’ have invited him back to film the odd cameo and will use him where story permits.”
Mario recently hinted about a return to the show but admitted his girlfriend Becky Miesner isn’t interested in the limelight.
He said: “There may be a development on that front but I can’t actually say anything about it.
“I love that Becky isn’t interested in the public eye. It’s nice to keep one thing to yourself that you really enjoy and cherish. She’s so grounded. The world I’m from doesn’t interest her. I can’t stand to think about upsetting her like I have with other girls in the past. In my eyes, she’s perfect.”
And the reality TV star admitted he wouldn’t have proposed to his ex-fiancee Lucy Mecklenburgh if he hadn’t been on ‘TOWIE’ at the time.
While Mario doesn’t regret getting down on one knee and popping the question to his then-girlfriend, whom he split from for good in 2013, he said he only did it because he felt pressure from the show’s bosses at the time to create a juicy storyline for viewers.
He explained: “I had a lot of pressure on me at the time to do a big engagement. Maybe I wouldn’t have done that if I wasn’t on the show.”

Richard Curtis writes Love Actually film for Comic Relief

OHMYGOSSIP — Richard Curtis is penning a ‘Love Actually’ sequel for Comic Relief.
The 60-year-old filmmaker has reunited with the major stars of the 2003 movie, including Keira Knightley, Colin Firth, Liam Neeson, Bill Nighy, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Andrew Lincoln and Rowan Atkinson for a 10-minute short, ‘Comic Relief Actually’, which will air on BBC One as part of their Red Nose Day coverage on March 24.
The original tale will revisit the characters from the hit British movie and Richard had a great time working on the script.
He said: “Over the years I’ve enjoyed doing Red Nose Day specials of TV things I’ve worked on – ‘Blackadder’, ‘The Vicar of Dibley’ and ‘Mr Bean’.
“It seemed like a fun idea this year to do a special sketch based one of my films, since Red Nose Day is now in both the UK and America.
“I would never have dreamt of writing a sequel to’ Love Actually’, but I thought it might be fun to do 10 minutes to see what everyone is now up to. Who has aged best? – I guess that’s the big question… or is it so obviously Liam?”
And Richard was thrilled so many of the big stars from the movie were available to shoot the mini-movie.
He added: “We’ve been delighted and grateful that so many of the cast are around and able to take part – and it’ll certainly be a nostalgic moment getting back together and recreating their characters 14 years later. We hope to make something that’ll be fun – very much in the spirit of the original film and of Red Nose Day – and which we hope will help bring lots of viewers and cash to the Red Nose Day shows.”

Jeremy McConnell has met his baby son

OHMYGOSSIP — Jeremy McConnell has finally been introduced to his baby son.
The 26-year-old Irish hunk has spent the past 10 months wondering whether his ex-girlfriend Stephanie Davis’ four-week-old boy Caben-Albi belongs to him but, after learning that he is his son last week, he got to meet the little one over the weekend.
A source told The Sun Online: “Jeremy spent the weekend in Liverpool and finally got to meet his son for the first time – and spent some time with Steph too.
“It was an emotional reunion between him and Stephanie but close pals were glad to see the pair finally putting their past behind him. Caben is well and truly their priority now – nothing else matters other than the health and happiness of the baby.”
The former lovers have been at loggerheads since they split up in May last year following just five months of on/off dating but decided to put their differences aside last week when Jeremy took part in a paternity test to determine whether he’s the father.
A source said earlier his month: “Stephanie and Jeremy are back on speaking terms.
“They’re trying to rebuild a civilised relationship for the sake of Caben – they both knew that the situation had to change for things to move forward. It’s going to be a slow process but they’re gradually heading in the right direction.”
However, friends are concerned that the pair will rekindle their romance because they’re planning to spend a lot of time together for their sake of their little boy.
The insider explained: “There has always been a spark there even if it did end badly the first time round. They have a child together now – everything’s changed.”
Jeremy and Stephanie began dating after they met in the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house in January last year but their relationship came to an end after a series of blazing rows on holiday – where the 23-year-old actress seemingly conceived – in the spring time.

Annette Badland to return to EastEnders?

OHMYGOSSIP — Annette Badland has hinted she may return to ‘EastEnders’ in the near future.
Viewers thought they’d seen the back of the actress’ evil alter-ego Aunt Babe last week when she was thrown out the Queen Victoria pub by her great-nephew Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) after she was caught trying to steal money from her family’s safe just moments after she attempted to murder her ill sister Sylvie Carter (Linda Marlowe).
But it looks like the vicious cook has other plans up her sleeve as she wants her family – who have disowned her on numerous occasions – to pay for cutting her out of their lives.
Annette said: “The great thing about Babe is she’s a survivor. She’s wounded, but she won’t give in – and so I think with all the threats she made, Babe might be back at some point. She’s cursed the Carters, and you don’t cross Aunt Babe and get away with it.”
The 66-year-old actress thinks it would be brilliant to see Aunt Babe team up with Max Branning (Jake Wood), who recently returned to Albert Square to take down everyone who has ever hurt him, because they could wreak havoc for the Walford residents.
Speaking to Inside Soap magazine, she explained when asked if Max and Aunt Babe could join forces: “Oooh, yes! Although then we would be vying for supremacy, wouldn’t we? I suppose Babe would have to let him lead and then she could get up to things on the sidelines. She would only let Max think he was in charge.”
Annette’s exit was confirmed last year by bosses when they said that they weren’t planning to kill her off and that they’d left the door open for Aunt Babe to return.
A spokesperson said at the time: “Prior to living in The Vic, Aunt Babe was seen coming and going from The Square with her own life away from Walford. She will still very much be in the wings and could well continue to cause aggro for the Carter family.”
