Benedict Cumberbatch to Stop Time in new role

OHMYGOSSIP — Benedict Cumberbatch is to star in upcoming film ‘How to Stop Time’.
Following his cosmic role in Marvel Cinematic Universe movie ‘Doctor Strange’, the 40-year-old actor is to appear in another sci-fi film.
The movie is an adaptation of Matt Haig’s forthcoming novel and even before the book hits the shelves its film rights have been snapped up by Cumberbatch’s production company SunnyMarch and Studiocanal.
Haig shared the news on his official Twitter account on Tuesday (14.03..17), posting: “Look! Exciting news alert! Benedict Cumberbatch is going to star in the adaptation of my new novel. Am so happy.”
In a separate tweet, he wrote: “Benedict is the only person I could think of to play the part of Tom Hazard. No-one quite like him. So amazing when a wish actually HAPPENS. (sic)”
Cumberbatch’s alter ego Tom Hazard is a man in his early 40s whom thanks to an extremely rare condition has been alive for centuries.
Haig added: “I only finished writing this book about two weeks ago. And now this is happening. It feels fast and surreal. Beautiful, but surreal.”
Speaking about the project, Studiocanal UK CEO Danny Perkins said in a statement: “We are delighted to be continuing our successful relationship with Matt Haig as well as build upon our long-running and dynamic partnership with SunnyMarch, Benedict Cumberbatch and Adam Ackland. This compelling novel will make for a powerful film that falls in line with Studiocanal’s ongoing commitment to British talent, storytelling and production. We look forward to bringing it to audiences around the world.”
Haig, a best-selling author whose books have been translated into 30 different languages, has penned his first adult novel in four years.
His most recent children’s book ‘The Girl Who Saved Christmas’ – the sequel to ‘A Boy Called Christmas’ – was published in late 2016 in more than 20 countries. Studiocanal and Blueprint Pictures own the screen rights to that book series.
As well as starring in the film, Cumberbatch is also attached to executive produce alongside Jamie Byng, CEO of Canongate Books, which is publishing the book in July.
Cumberbatch will reprise his role as Dr. Stephen Strange for ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ and will follow that up with a spot in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ which is currently in production.

Prue Leith scared she'll be a flop on GBBO

OHMYGOSSIP — Prue Leith is scared she’ll be a flop if she takes over from Mary Berry on the ‘Great British Bake Off’.
The 77-year-old restaurateur is heavily tipped to replace the culinary queen on the baking show later this year but she’s terrified that she won’t be able to live up to expectations and will hit the headlines like Chris Evans did when he failed to impress viewers with his hosting on ‘Top Gear’ last year.
Speaking at the Romantic Novel of the Year Awards on Monday (13.03.17), she said: “I’d love to star in ‘…Bake Off’, it would be ridiculous to pretend that I didn’t want to do it.
“They’ve said they’ll let everyone know soon. I have some hopes of doing it soon. I have been through interviews and meetings but realistically they’ve only casted Paul Hollywood because he’s there already. They still need to replace Mel and Sue, and [find] Mary Berry’s replacement.
“If they like me, and they appear to, they need to make sure that the other two fit. So I don’t imagine anything will be announced until their replacements are found. But I haven’t signed anything. Everything you read is not true. It’s a bit scary following Mary, but I don’t want to do a Chris Evans.”
Although it looks like bosses have found their replacement for Mary, they’re still tasked with finding hosts following Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins’ departure but have confirmed the line up will be announced in “due course.”
A Channel 4 spokesman said: “We will announce the line-up for the next series of The ‘Great British Bake Off’ in due course.”
The ‘Great British Bake Off’ hit the headlines in September last year when it was announced that Love Productions – the makers of the series – had chosen to accept a three-year deal from Channel 4 after negotiations between them and the BBC broke down because they weren’t willing to offer a large enough sum.
Within hours of the news breaking, Mel and Sue – who have fronted the programme since it first hit screens six years ago – revealed they had quit their roles as hosts in order to explore other ventures.
A few days later, Mary decided she too would step down as a judge on the show out of “loyalty” to the BBC, while her co-judge Paul , 50, caused a storm when he accepted Channel 4’s offer to remain with the series.

Denise Fox to hook up with Kush Kazemi – again?

OHMYGOSSIP — Denise Fox and Kush Kazemi could be set for a reunion over the next coming weeks.
The pair hooked up last year – something they managed to keep from their friends and family at the time – but it looks like their feelings for one another are about to resurface, and this time they can’t deny it, as the handsome market stall holder provides a shoulder to cry on for the Minute Mart worker as her life starts to crumble before her.
A source told Inside Soap magazine: “Let’s not forget that when Denise first discovered she was pregnant, she assumed the baby was Kush’s. It was only after the doctor explained she was already several months gone that the penny dropped for Denise. The realisation that she was carrying Phil’s baby put paid to any chance of a real romance between her and Kush – but the attraction hasn’t gone.”
However, although there’s undeniable chemistry between the pair, Denise (Diane Parish) will no doubt be in two minds about pursuing Kush (Davood Ghadami) as his mother Carmel Kazemi (Bonnie Langsford) is the supermarket manager’s best friend.
The insider explained: “There’s clearly something between these two but after everything Denise has been through, it’s unlikely she’ll want to muddle her life further by having another fling with her best pal’s son.”
Denise hasn’t had the best start to the year thus far as she decided to put her newborn son up for adoption – something she’s starting to regret – because she didn’t think she could give him the life he deserves due to her age, lack of money and career.
She then ended up in a police cell for the night after she smacked nasty school boy Keegan Baker (Zack Morris) round the face for destroying her flowers and littering.
And she’s currently facing a disciplinary hearing after she bad mouthed her employers and her remarks ended up in the Walford Gazette newspaper for all to see.

Paul Hollywood isn't returing to Great British Bake Off for the money

OHMYGOSSIP — Paul Hollywood has insisted he didn’t stick with the ‘Great British Bake Off’ just for the pay cheque.
The 51-year-old baker was handed a mega sum of money, a reported £400,000 a series, to join the popular baking show when it moves to Channel 4 from the BBC later this year, but he says it was his loyalty to the team behind the programme that made him accept the offer – not the salary increase.
He told TV Times magazine: “There can be as many as 100 people working behind the scenes and it’s the same people every year. I’m always very loyal to the people I work with.
“I am on screen but we are all part of the team.
“Now [that the new series] is approaching, I’m getting excited. Chapter one has finished, the ride was amazing and now chapter two is about to start.”
It comes following the news that the hunky Liverpudlian’s potential new co-host, Prue Leith, is reportedly expected to earn three times more than Mary Berry if she takes over as a judge.
The 77-year-old restaurateur was first approached about the role earlier this year, and is now believed to have been offered £200,000, completely dwarfing the £70,000 offered to 81-year-old Mary when the programme was still with rival broadcaster BBC.
A source recently said: “Prue is a cooking legend and has a lot of respect in the food world. The BBC were really under-paying both Mary and Paul during their time on the show.
“‘Bake Off’ had a relatively low budget which didn’t increase even as its popularity went through the roof. That meant the stars were left on very low salaries in relation to the show’s huge success. Prue will be on a lot of money but it’s not an unexpected amount for one of the main faces on a show as big as ‘Bake Off’ to be earning.”

Matthew Vaughn in talks to helm new Man of Steel 2

OHMYGOSSIP — Matthew Vaughn is reportedly wanted to direct ‘Man of Steel 2’.
The 46-year-old British director-and-producer has opened initial talks with Warner Bros. Pictures about taking the reins on the second standalone Superman movie starring Henry Cavill as the Son of Krypton, according to website Collider.
Plans for the sequel were announced last August and the ‘Kingsman: The Secret Service’ filmmaker is the studio’s top choice to take control of the latest film set in the DC Extended Universe.
Vaughn previously pitched a new Superman movie to Warner Bros. back in 2010 before they decided to reboot the character on the big screen with ‘Man of Steel’ – which was conceived by ‘The Dark Knight’ director Christopher Nolan and David S. Goyer and helmed by Zack Snyder.
Speaking previously about what he believes a Superman film should be, Vaughn said: “I think that’s the one thing not to do with Superman, trying to do the serious ‘The Dark Knight’ version. Superman is about colour and fun, or it should be, for me.”
Vaughn – who is married to German supermodel Claudia Schiffer – has experience when it comes to the comic book genre as he was responsible for helming 2010’s ‘Kick-Ass’ and making 2011’s ‘X-Men: First Class’ and he also acted as a producer on ‘Kick-Ass 2’, ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ and ‘Fantastic Four’.
‘Man of Steel’ was followed by ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ which pitted DC’s two iconic characters against each other and acted as a set up to the ‘Justice League’ film which is coming to cinemas this November.
Since those movies the DC Extended Universe continues to expand with the release of ‘Suicide Squad’, while ‘Wonder Woman’ starring Gal Gadot hits the big screen on June 2 then ‘Aquaman’ starring Jason Momoa will follow in 2018.
Warner Bros. has also confirmed that ‘Cloverfield’ director Matt Reeves is to take control of ‘The Batman’, in which Ben Affleck will reprise his role as The Caped Crusader.

Derek Griffiths quits Coronation Street

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Coronation Street’ actor Derek Griffiths has quit the show after just one year.
The 70-year-old actor joined the long running ITV soap in March 2016 as likeable mechanic Freddie Smith, but after just 12 months on the cobbles he has opted to pack his bags and move out as he’s set to star in a stage production of ‘Driving Miss Daisy’ instead.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Derek has been a great asset to the soap and has thoroughly enjoyed the filming. He’s looking to the future and can’t wait to get stuck in with the play.”
Freddie was first introduced on the soap as an “unlikely friend” for established character Kylie Platt, played by Paula Lane, who departed the show in July last year after the character was stabbed and killed in the street.
Freddie’s life was thrown into turmoil before he even made his on-screen debut, as it was revealed his wife Sadie -an old and valued customer of the salon run by Audrey Roberts, played by Sue Nicholls – had passed away unexpectedly.
As of yet, it is unknown how Derek’s character will leave the show, and whether or not the door will remain open for him to return in the future.
Previously, Derek had said he was proud to be following in the “hallowed footsteps” of one of his acting heroes Violet Carson, who played Ena Sharples on the soap.
He said: “I remember being a young boy and watching Violet Carson on Coronation Street. She was a brilliant character that people loved to hate, and later when I became an actor and played the villain in panto many times those are qualities I would bring to the role. When I came for my audition one of the first things I saw was a huge photo of Violet Carson on the wall. I am very much looking forward to walking in those hallowed footsteps.”

Anne-Marie tried to get Arg drunk

OHMYGOSSIP — Anne-Marie tried to get James ‘Arg’ Argent drunk at a friend’s wedding – not realising he’s now teetotal.
The 25-year-old singer has confessed she wasn’t aware that Arg had ceased drinking alcohol after previously battling addiction, and has also recalled how she auditioned for the ‘Only Way Is Essex’ star before she was famous.
She shared: “Arg didn’t discover me. I was already singing around and he was judging this contest in Essex. I didn’t win, so thanks Arg. But he liked me.
“I didn’t see him again until my friend’s wedding a few months back and I was trying to get him to drink some alcohol and he was like, ‘No’.”
Despite his high-profile battle with addiction, Anne-Marie revealed she was unaware that he’d given up drinking.
She told The Sun newspaper: “I didn’t know he wasn’t drinking alcohol – before that I was like, ‘Wahey!'”
Anne-Marie’s confession comes shortly after Arg checked himself into a self-help retreat in Thailand.
The reality TV star took some time off from filming the ITV show in order to focus on his well-being and jetted to a Thai retreat.
A source previously said: “Arg is in Thailand where he is trying to clean up his act. He wants to sort out his head and beat his demons once and for all.
“Being so far away from Essex and the bright lights is hopefully going to help him – acting as a kind of rehabilitation process. He is trying to make himself a better person and is doing some soul-searching.
“He wants to come back to the show stronger and is looking forward to doing so at some point in the future. Everyone just wants what is best for him.”

Zoe Kravitz: Leta Lestrange will be in more Fantastic Beasts movies

OHMYGOSSIP — Zoe Kravitz thinks she’ll be in a “few” more ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ movies.
The 28-year-old actress didn’t get much screen time in the first movie in the ‘Harry Potter’ spin-off franchise as her character Leta Lestrange merely appeared in a photo, but is convinced her “complex relationship” with main character Newt Scamander – played by Eddie Redmayne – will solidify her role in future instalments.
Asked how many more movies she thinks she’ll be in, Zoe said: “I think there’s a few ahead. The relationship between Leta and Newt Scamander is a complex relationship, so I think there will be a lot of time for that to grow and develop, which will be fun.”
And Zoe insists she knows “nothing” about the film’s sequel, and says that even in her audition she was trying to “piece together” the story from the scene she was given.
When asked if she’d had a glance at the script yet, she said: “I know nothing! I have an idea, based off of when I auditioned, but I know nothing. Even when I went to go do my chemistry read with Eddie, he was trying to help me piece together what was happening in the scene that we were reading. He doesn’t get to see anything either, so he was like, ‘I think based off of this line and this line, and what we shot here and here, this is what’s going on.’ We had to guess. It was funny to watch him, trying to piece it all together.”
Filming for the sequel – which is said to be the second part of a five part series – doesn’t start until the summer, but Zoe is already “excited”.
She told Collider.com when asked if filming had started yet: “No, that starts in June or July, I think. It’s sometime in the summer. I’m very excited. The one day I was on set for that, and also for my audition process, being able to work with Eddie [Redmayne] and David [Yates] was incredible. The script was very under wraps, so even signing onto it, I hadn’t read the script. I just went off of who was involved, and J.K. Rowling and the Harry Potter films, so I knew it was going to be incredible, especially with how involved J.K. is.
“And then, I got to see the film, after I was already signed on, and it exceeded my expectations. That was a really interesting experience, to sit back and watch a movie that you loved, and then get to walk out and say, “I get to be in that!” It’s a very cool thing.”

Binky Felstead wants sex all the time

OHMYGOSSIP — Binky Felstead is trying to have “as much sex as possible” throughout her pregnancy.
The ‘Made in Chelsea’ star is due to welcome her little bundle of joy into the world with her partner Josh ‘JP’ Patterson later this year but is trying to take advantage of her current situation by scoffing as much food as she can and getting frisky in the bedroom.
She explained to new! magazine when pressed on her pregnancy: “I don’t weigh myself but I feel a bit puffy. Don’t weigh yourself and have as much sex as possible.”
The couple – who have been dating on/off for two years – had split up but have decided to give their relationship another go after finding out they are expecting a child together.
Binky said: “We are together.”
JP added: “We’re slowly but surely building that relationship back.”
Binky said: “But we’re not stupid, we don’t think a baby is going to fix the relationship. We’re not back together because of the baby. It’s because we love each other.”
JP explained: “No (we’re not living together) but we’re spending a lot of time together. It’s just another thing we’ll have to get to when we have to.”
The 26-year-old beauty is really relishing her pregnancy but can’t believe how much food she’s been shovelling in and how much of a step back she’s taken in her fitness.
She said: “I’m eating everything. JP is worried the baby will get really fat from what the mother eats. I’m taking a massive step back [from the gym] but I’m still addicted to it. I’ve taken up aqua aerobics with the oldies in the pool.”
Asked how often she does it, she said: “It varies, but it’s not important to me to keep in shape. I have (put on weight). I eat and then I show off my maternity pants to Josh.”

Stephanie Davis' son stopped breathing

OHMYGOSSIP — Stephanie Davis’ newborn son “turned blue” after he stopped breathing for a “few seconds.”
The 24-year-old actress was forced to rush her seven-week-old baby Caben-Albi to the hospital at the beginning of last month after his blocked nose stopped him from taking a breath.
Speaking to OK! magazine, she said: “I was at home with my mum and aunt and Caben was struggling to breathe and held his breath for a few seconds, which was quite scary.
“He turned a little bit blue around his nose and mouth for a few seconds due to having a blocked nose. He has had a blocked nose since was a born, but it was getting worse and then that happened. I scooped him up in my arms and we rushed him to hospital.
“As soon as we got to A&E the doctors immediately stuck tubes up his nose to relieve his passageways and admitted him to the ward.”
The little one is still battling with a blocked nose but doctors aren’t overly worried about it and are planning to review him again in three months’ time as they think it’ll sort itself out.
She explained: “His nose is still blocked, so I’ve been taking him for tests at the hospital. At the moment, they think it is something that he might grow out of but we have another appointment in three months to make sure it’s cleared up. For now, if it gets bad again we can take him to our local hospital and they’ll clear his nose straight away.”
However, although the doctors aren’t worries, Stephanie is struggling to sleep.
She told the publication: “I’ve been absolutely beside myself. I’m barely sleeping because I’m worrying about him all the time – I’m completely drained.”

Amy Childs is pregnant with a baby girl

OHMYGOSSIP — Amy Childs is expecting a baby girl.
The former ‘The Only Way is Essex’ star was convinced she was having a little boy with her boyfriend Bradley Wright after a psychic convinced her of the sex during a session so she was pleasantly surprised when her scan revealed she’s carrying a daughter.
Speaking to OK! magazine, she said: “I think I’m still in shock. Instinct told me it would be a boy. A psychic told me it was going to be a boy, and lots of people I knew thought the same. I even ordered a boy Moncler baby bag because I was so convinced.”
The 26-year-old beauty is set to welcome her little one into the world in seven weeks’ time and, although her pregnancy has been relatively easy, she’s scared of giving birth.
She explained: “I’m anxious. I don’t know what a contraction is going to feel like, it’s all new for me. But I’ve been doing hypnobirthing – a lady has been coming round to my house to sit with me and Brad.
“At first I had – well, not quite the giggles – never meditated in my life. But it’s been good to do the breathing exercises and get into that mindset. I’m a young mum so I’m learning all the time. Initially I said no to a home birth but since I’ve been learning about hyponobirthing I would definitely consider for the next baby.”
The red-haired star is planning to have a water birth with her mother and boyfriend Brad by her side when her little bundle of joy finally decides to make her appearance.
She said: “I’m going to have a water birth. Mum will be with me and Brad. I’ve had a look around the unit and the nurses are so lovely. We’re just preparing for everything. You don’t know what’s going to happen so – touch wood – it goes smoothly.”

Emma Watson had Belle Bootcamp for Beauty and the Beast

OHMYGOSSIP — Emma Watson had to go to ‘Belle Bootcamp’ to learn how to ride a horse, sing and dance for her role in ‘Beauty and the Beast’.
The 26-year-old British actress spent three months preparing for the part in Disney’s live action remake of their classic animation and another four months shooting the movie and she admits it was a massive commitment to get her portrayal of Belle right.
In an interview on ITV daytime show ‘Lorraine’, she said: “With a movie like ‘Beauty and the Beast’ it’s like three months prep, it’s like three or four months shooting, it’s in the UK. I had to be there to do that and as I was saying before it’s like you can’t half-arse a project like this, you know, you’re in or you’re out. And I was like I’ve kinda got to be all in and so this was really where my heart was and I knew I had to fully commit and make sure that I did this.”
On having to learn new skills for the role of Belle, Emma added: “I’ve never ridden a horse before [making this film] and so I was like, ‘OK.’ This is what I mean about the prep. I mean I really went in to like essentially a ‘Belle Bootcamp’. I was riding three or four times a week, singing four times a week, dancing three or four times a week. I was manic, I was so hectic but I loved it.”
Even though she had to learn so many new skills for the part, Emma insists nothing was scarier than having to sing on screen.
The ‘Harry Potter’ star – who stars in the fantasy film with Dan Stevens and Luke Evans, who play the Beast and Gaston respectively – said: “Oh my god I can’t even tell you how nerve wracking it was, there were a few moments when I had a real crisis of confidence … Once I got into it I just loved it. I want to do a musical every day for the rest of my life. There is so much joy in it and like the music is just … I don’t know about you but when I hear that song ‘Beauty and the Beast’ I just melt.”
‘Beauty and the Beast’ – which is based on French author Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont’s 1740 fairy tale ‘La Belle et la Bete’ – is in cinemas worldwide this week.

Brie Larson: Kong cast bonded without WiFi

OHMYGOSSIP — Brie Larson and her ‘Kong: Skull Island’ castmates grew to be really close because they were shooting in locations without WiFi.
The Oscar-winning actress loved shooting the part of the blockbuster – which also stars the likes of Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, John C. Reilly and John Goodman – in Vietnam as the remote location meant the cast were forced to interact more than they would have done elsewhere.
Speaking to the new issue of HELLO! magazine, she said: “Vietnam in particular is special because it has never been captured on film before in this way. We tried to get nature in its raw form, its wildness and show the diversity of the island. It did [bring us closer]. There is no self-service or WiFi when you’re so deep in the jungle, it’s too far away to go back to your trailer so you’re just all in a tent together. I got to be back in touch with nature again, it’s not usual to do that at work.”
And when filming moved to Australia, the group enjoyed a lot of fun outings, including having a Queensland theme park closed specifically for their use.
Brie – who along with her co-stars also filmed in Hawaii – said: “We did a lot of fun things on weekends, like going to Lazer Tag. We went go-karting lone time, but one of my favourites was when Movie World closed for us and we got to go on the roller coasters as many times in a row as we wanted.”
The 27-year-old beauty enjoyed go-karting because she won one race, and maintains she only lost the second because she was at a disadvantage.
She said: “I did win first place go-karting and then in the next race I didn’t. In the larger race I got a c**ppy car – just so everyone is clear. It had nothing to do with my skills, it was just that I got a faulty car … But I’m OK about it. I’m not mad. I should have won but it’s fine. I think all my years of playing ‘Mario Kart’ helped. I was focused.”
Tom – who plays former SAS Captain James Conrad – previously revealed that Brie is a great go-kart raced but he was useless behind the wheel.
He said: “We’re from different places in the world, thrown together in the valley of a dormant volcano – you get close pretty quickly. We bonded off set. Brie organized weekends of activities, we’d go go-karting – I was terrible. Brie’s actually really good at it.”

Danniella Westbrook has new boyfriend

OHMYGOSSIP — Danniella Westbrook has reportedly bagged herself a new boyfriend.
The 43-year-old actress was left heartbroken last year when she split from her toyboy lover George Arnold when she allegedly found out her had cheated on her but it seems she’s wasted no time putting the heartache behind her as she was spotted locking lips with a mystery man in Marbella, Spain, over the weekend.
A source said: “They’ve been snogging each other’s faces off all day.”
A second insider told the MailOnline that the blonde star looked very loved up with her new man – who is thought to be called Paris and is reportedly “a bad boy type” – as they stopped for a refreshment at Callaghan’s Bar in the afternoon.
The former ‘EastEnders’ star – who spends the winter months in the Spanish city in a bid to escape the bitter UK weather – first set tongues wagging when she shared a number of sweet shots of her and Paris on her social networking sites.
In one photograph, Paris planted a delicate kiss on Danniella’s cheek as she captioned it: “Dinner date in the port with our friends #thisgirlcan #loveMylife #princess #happy #marbella #marbslife #dinnerdate #thewestbrook #one (sic)”
Danniella’s public display of affection comes just days after she was viciously mugged by two men – whose identities are not yet known – on motorcycles.
The actress was walking back to her apartment earlier this week when the villains raced by on their bikes and grabbed her designer bag from her shoulders.
She said recently: “F***ing hell, I’m shook up. I’m an old girl now. It could have been a lot worse. I was just walking along with my bag on my shoulder, kerbside, and I wasn’t in the road. They must have obviously gone past a few times.
“I’m literally walking along one minute on the phone and I just felt something pull me. It was like when someone pushes you to go by fast. As it pulled me I said, ‘Pardon me’ and I just saw my bag starting to go. I started to get half dragged and I just put my arm out and the bag just come off my arm and they just went.”
Danniella – who has had cash flow issues over the past year after a battle with septicaemia forced her out of work – not only lost her expensive Prada bag in the attack but also 600 Euros, a phone, an expensive watch and some clothes.

Jeremy McConnell cried when he met his son for first time

OHMYGOSSIP — Jeremy McConnell burst into tears when he met his baby son for the first time.
The 27-year-old heartthrob spent all of his ex-girlfriend Stephanie Davis’ pregnancy denying that he was the then-unborn tot’s father but, after a paternity test carried out four weeks after Caben-Albi’s birth revealed the little one did belong to him, he was overcome with emotion when they met face to face.
Speaking to OK! magazine, Stephanie explained: “He spent ages just looking at Caben and then he got very emotional and started welling up. I gave him a hug, but he was hiding his face from me so I wouldn’t see him crying.”
And the 24-year-old beauty is convinced her ex-boyfriend, whom she split from in May last year following a series of blazing rows, now regrets missing out on so much of the pregnancy because he was so caught up in “self-destruct mode.”
She explained to the publication: “Jeremy was in self-destruct mode for a long time and when you’re like that you don’t care about anyone else. I don’t think he understood at the time how much he was missing out on.”
The pair – who met in the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house in January last year – have managed to patch up their differences for the sake of seven-week-old Caben but, despite speculation suggesting they’re back together, Stephanie is adamant they’re not focusing on a romance at the moment because they’re busy with their careers.
She said: “No we’re not back together. We’re just taking it day by day – I don’t know what the future holds.
“Our priority at the present time is to provide what’s best for Caben. We’ll always hold a special place in each other’s hearts as Caben’s parents, but for now we both have work commitments coming up that we need to concentrate on.”

The Good Karma Hospital gets second series

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘The Good Karma Hospital’ will return for a second series next year.
The medical drama series may have only just wrapped up on Sunday (12.03.17) night but, following the huge success of the first, bosses have already decided to commission it for another installment, with filming expected to kick off in August.
Executive Producer of Tiger Aspect Drama, Will Gould said: “We are beyond delighted that ‘The Good Karma Hospital’ has struck such a chord with the audience who have taken these vibrant characters and life affirming stories to their hearts. It’s been an incredibly international production, but it all started with creator Dan Sefton’s scripts, and ITV’s belief in them, so I’d like to thank them both for that. I can’t wait to see series two come to life.”
The six-part drama is set in Southern India and sees junior doctor Ruby Walker (Amrita Acharia) flee the UK following the messy breakdown of her relationship and travel abroad after seeing an advertisement for a position at The Good Karma Hospital under the watchful eye of Dr Lydia Fonseca (Amanda Redman).
Victoria Fea explained: “We’re very excited about developing a second series of ‘The Good Karma Hospital’. It’s brought the warmth, colour and vibrancy of India to our wintry Sunday nights. This is a credit to the wonderful cast, Dan Sefton’s well-crafted scripts and Tiger Aspect Drama.”
The show also stars Neil Morrissey, James Floyd, Darshan Jariwalla, Sagar Radia and Nimmi Harasagam, who are all set to return next year, while new cast members for the second series are expected to be announced in due course.
Although details on the storyline for the next batch of episodes are being kept tightly under wraps for the time being, Amanda has teased that the new installment may explore her alter-ego Lydia’s “backstory” a bit more.
Writing in a Q&A on Twitter, she said: “Just more interesting storylines, like we’ve had so far. Maybe we could explore her back story a little bit. (sic)”
