Joss Whedon in talks to bring Batgirl to the big screen

OHMYGOSSIP — Joss Whedon is expected to sign a deal to write, direct and produce a Batgirl film.
The ‘Avengers’ director is set to switch from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and join the DC Extended Universe as he is reportedly in talks with Warner Bros. Pictures to bring the superhero to life on the big screen with other characters who inhabit Gotham City.
According to Variety, the Batgirl project only came to fruition last month follow a meeting between Whedon and those overseeing the standalone picture; Jon Berg, Geoff Johns and Toby Emmerich, President and Chief Content officer of Warner Bros. Pictures Group.
Batgirl has been the alter ego of several different characters in the DC Comics but the definitive version is Barbara Gordon who first appeared in comic book pages back in 1967. She is the daughter of Gotham City police commissioner James Gordon and ally of Batman.
As well as writing and directing ‘The Avengers’ and the sequel ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ for Marvel Studios, Whedon’s list of successes is long and includes creating the hit TV shows ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’, ‘Angel’ and ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D’ and working as a writer on movies such as ‘Toy Story’, ‘The Cabin in the Woods’ and ‘Much Ado About Nothing’.
DC Films have already got their first female led film ‘Wonder Woman’ on the verge of release with Gal Gadot playing the Amazonian Princess and the as-yet untitled Batgirl movie would be the studio’s second project focused on a woman.
DC Extended Universe fans have ‘Justice League’ to look forward to in November with ‘Aquaman’, a ‘Suicide Squad’ sequel, ‘The Batman’ – starring Ben Affleck as The Caped Crusader again and with Matt Reeves directing – ‘The Flash’, ‘Gotham City Sirens’, a ‘Suicide Squad spin-off led by Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, and ‘Shazam’ all coming to the big screen.

David Leitch: Deadpool 2 will 'pay homage' to original

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Deadpool 2’ will “pay homage” to the first instalment.
A sequel to the critically acclaimed 2016 superhero movie ‘Deadpool’ – which features Ryan Reynolds as the titular character – is currently being developed, and director David Leitch, who took over the role from the first movie’s director Tim Miller, has insisted he won’t be making radical changes to the “loveable” character.
Speaking to CinemaBlend.com, David said: “I think you have to pay homage to this movie that’s so beloved. Everybody is anticipating it. And I think we have to find a way to make it distinctly our own, and we’re doing that. The DNA of Deadpool shouldn’t change. He’s such a lovable character, we’re going to carry that through.”
Meanwhile, writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are determined to get Hugh Jackman – who is known for playing Wolverine in ‘X-Men’ – to feature in the sequel after Deadpool pinned a photograph of the dark-haired hunk on his face in the first instalment.
And although the Australian star has ruled out making an appearance as the metal claw-bearing mutant in future movies after starring in his swansong ‘Logan’, the writers believe there could be a possibility of twisting the plot to feature Hugh as himself.
Speaking about their plans for the forthcoming production, Rhett said: “I like that. ‘Deadpool’ lives in a world where Hugh Jackman is out there. He’s got the ‘People’s Sexiest Man Alive’ cover that he staples to his forehead in the first movie, so maybe he could meet Hugh as Hugh. That would be really funny.”
The writers also revealed the creative team are “very close” to submitting a final draft for ‘Deadpool 2’, and have teased they will begin shooting scenes for the follow-up within the next few months.
Rhett added: “We’re very close to a draft that we’ll go off and shoot in a couple of months and we couldn’t be more thrilled. We don’t want to put the cart before the horse, and often times with release dates that happens.”

Goldie Hawn believes 'Snatched is the 'best' film she's starred in

OHMYGOSSIP — Goldie Hawn believes ‘Snatched’ is the “best” film to be created.
The 71-year-old actress teamed up with comedic actress Amy Schumer for the comedy movie, and the star believes her latest production is the ultimate movie she has starred in throughout her acting career, which spans over five decades.
Speaking about the film to Entertainment Weekly, the golden-haired beauty – who is the mother of fellow actress Kate Hudson, Oliver Hudson and Wyatt Russell – said: “I’m a mother to my daughter and I’m a mother to Amy, and that’s what mattered – it’s that movie that matters. It doesn’t compare to any other movie I’ve ever done.
“I’m saying it’s the best. It was great.
“Every woman is different, and every experience is different. I’ve done a lot of action movies, I’ve done a lot of comedy movies.”
And Goldie’s 35-year-old co-star still can’t get over the fact she has worked alongside the Academy Award winner – who was recognised as the Best Supporting Actress for her role in ‘Cactus Flower’ in 1969 – because she has always dreamed of working with the star.
The ‘Trainwreck’ star gushed: “I come offering Goldie Hawn. It’s still blowing my mind, it’s the biggest dream come true. I was like, ‘This is happening.’ I kind of secreted it. I never read that book, but I’m assuming it.”
And the pair have revealed they enjoyed their time shooting on set together, although they have teased they got into a “little bit” of trouble.
Amy said: “We got into a little bit of trouble.”
Goldie admitted she also had a “really really good time” working with Amy, although she was left embarrassed by her swimming technique when they were filming a scene of them floating out to sea, which Amy has described as an “elegant” stroke.
She said: “We hung out. We had really really good time. Floated out to sea, just free-floating, it was good. I couldn’t swim too good… well dog paddle.”
To which Amy replied: “You’ve never seen a more elegant dog paddle.”

Kristen Bell's bust row

OHMYGOSSIP — Kristen Bell rowed with Dax Shepard because she wanted to show off her boobs in ‘CHiPS’.
The blonde beauty – who has daughters Lincoln, three, and two-year-old Delta with her husband – was directed by and starred alongside her spouse in the new action comedy, and the only time they didn’t get along on set was when he was unhappy with her request to alter her costume to show off her “big, beautiful balloons”.
She said: “It’s funny, the only disagreement we had the whole time was when I wore this bathing suit in the movie – I play this vapid, rude, estranged wife — and I wanted to unzip my bathing suit more to give her a really aggressive boob job and have her be a Beverly Hills housewife, and he wanted me to zip it up.
“He was like, ‘It’s pulling focus!’
“I had to ask! I get them once in my life, because I was breastfeeding! Let me have big boobs — big, beautiful balloons.”
Despite the disagreement, Kristen joked she was given “special treatment” on the set because she’s married to the director.
She quipped to AOL: “We’re always kissing no matter where we are. PDA is going to happen, special treatment is going to happen and everyone is just going to have to get hip to it, you know what I mean?”
And the 36-year-old actress admitted she is more “nervous” about the response to ‘CHiPS’ than she usually is about her movies because of her and Dax’s relationship.
She admitted: “Normally, I’m pretty calm, but I’m more excited and nervous for this one because it’s my partner’s baby.
“I saw him from the moment he decided to take this on to the few months he was writing it to the few months he was prepping it to shooting it, and I’m just so happy for him
“I’m just excited that people will finally get to see a little sliver of his brain!”

Oliver Stone: Whistleblower Edward Snowden was amazed by my film

OHMYGOSSIP — Oliver Stone has revealed that Edward Snowden was “amazed” by his film ‘Snowden’ and told him it was as “close to reality” as it could be.
The 70-year-old American director-and-screenwriter decided to take on the challenge of telling the real-life story of former CIA employee Snowden who leaked top secret National Security Agency (NSA) documents back in 2013.
Stone and Kieran Fitzgerald’s script was influenced by the books ‘The Snowden Files: The Inside Story of the World’s Most Wanted Man’ by Luke Harding and ‘Time of the Octopus’ by Anatoly Kucherena and when the filmmaker met the real-life Snowden in Moscow he was given the highest praise possible for his project.
In an interview with the Metro newspaper, he shared: “I think he was quite amazed. He has said that, technically, it was as close to reality as a film can get. I have to make it clear that this is his story, his way of seeing events. Which is a different point of view from the NSA, which of course ridiculed us.”
Revealing what Snowden is doing now, Stone added: “[He’s doing] very well, physically and mentally. He seems very patient and he lives inside his own mind, you know? He is working on making the perfect encryption device but I can’t talk too much about that.”
Stone is no stranger to making controversial movies as his filmography includes political dramas ‘JFK’, ‘W.’ and ‘Nixon’, Vietnam War movie ‘Platoon’ and violent crime satire ‘Natural Born Killers’.
He has now turned his attention to the possibility of making a movie about new US President Donald Trump, whom he finds a fascinating person.
He said: “[Trump] is very unpredictable and seems to be thin-skinned. But listen, they are after him, you know? There is a lot of effort being made to get rid of Trump and force his associates to resign.”
When asked who he would cast as the former ‘Apprentice’ host, he quipped: “Who would I cast? Rhys Ifans! I don’t know…”

Gary Oldman's lengthy transformation into Churchill

OHMYGOSSIP — Gary Oldman spent a staggering 200 hours in make-up to be transformed into Sir Winston Churchill.
The 59-year-old actor underwent a stunning transformation to play the iconic late former Prime Minister in ‘Darkest Hour’, and as well as lengthy sessions having his appearance transformed with cosmetics, he revealed he also “carried around half my body weight” in prosthetics in order to add the pounds to his slender frame, Deadline reports.
Gary admits the role was one of the hardest and most “daunting” he has ever taken on, but it was also the most enjoyable.
He said: “They’re all challenging in their own way but Winston was kind of a hard one.
“It’s a lot to wrap your arms around. Not only the physical, but he is arguably the greatest Brit who ever lived … a kind of iconic figure. It was daunting but once I started to find out who the man was, it was … well, I never enjoyed anything so much in my life … I couldn’t wait to get to work and be him.”
The movie is set in the first five weeks of Churchill’s time as Prime Minister, when Adolf Hitler began his invasion, and Gary admits it was a “wonderful gift” to take on such a hugely important moment in history.
He said: “We see how very, very close we came to Nazi tyranny.
“Had it not been for Winston, our world might be very different. That, in itself, to come in and play those things is a wonderful gift for an actor.”
Churchill was under enormous pressure to make a deal with Adolf Hitler after taking office but three weeks after becoming Prime Minister he assembled a British fleet of more than 800 boats to save over 335,000 soldiers who had been cut off by the German army at Dunkirk on the French coast.
His memorable speech to Parliament afterwards included the words: “We shall fight on beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills. We shall never surrender.”

Orlando Bloom 'is a big Towie fan'

OHMYGOSSIP — Orlando Bloom is reportedly a big fan of ‘The Only Way Is Essex’.
The Hollywood heartthrob bumped into TV star Sam Faiers at a pre-Oscars bash earlier this year, and the blonde beauty was amazed to discover Orlando knew who she was from watching the programme.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Orlando told her he was a huge fan of ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ and started grilling her on the show. Sam was stunned.”
Meanwhile, Sam – who left the ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ in 2014 – previously admitted she’s given up her party-loving ways since meeting her boyfriend Paul Knightley and having her first child, a baby boy also called Paul, in December 2015.
She explained: “Paul is so supportive and since meeting him I’ve taken a step back from the usual. I don’t do the party scene anymore and I just do what’s nice.
“That’s my own choice. I’ve enjoyed every second of being a mum because I think this time is so precious. People comment and say you need a night out and I say I’m not ready. It will happen but it’s one of those things, isn’t it?”
Sam, 26, said she hasn’t had time to enjoy a proper night out since she became a mum, revealing she’s instead been restricted to the occasional glass of Prosecco or wine.
She shared: “All mums are different and everyone has different ways of parenting. I had a dinner with the girls but I was home by 11. I haven’t had a night or a proper night out. I’ve had a few glasses of Prosecco or wine with dinner but the baby’s with me all the time so I can’t have more than two.”

John Middleton 'immensely proud' of Emmerdale role

OHMYGOSSIP — John Middleton says portraying Ashley Thomas in ‘Emmerdale’ has made him “immensely proud”.
The 63-year-old actor is set to bow out of the popular ITV soap for good this week as his character, the loveable vicar Ashley Thomas, meets his end after having suffered with dementia for two years.
Now, ahead of his character’s heart-breaking demise, John has said the support he has received for his “accurate” portrayal of Ashley’s disease, especially from those who have “direct contact” with dementia themselves, has been overwhelming.
He said: “People are stopping me in the streets saying thank you for doing this, and that is in many ways the best award. Particularly when you are talking to people who have got direct contact with this disease, who have lost loved ones to it, or who are caring for people with it, or people who have the disease. They say thank you for portraying it so accurately, so that makes me immensely proud.”
In Monday’s (03.04.17) episode, Ashley’s wife Laurel – played by Charlotte Bellamy – will be told there’s nothing more that can be done to save her husband, and she decides to take him home to live out his final moments.
John’s final scenes as Ashley will be aired on Friday (07.04.17), and he has said the scenes are “emotional”, and had the cast “in tears” during filming.
He said: “They were very nice for me to do as I was lying in bed and at one point I started snoring. They were beautifully written and they weren’t mawkish. People were being upbeat. You could see Laurel was getting a lot of strength from the fact people weren’t being too sentimental or betraying their emotions too much. They were lovely scenes to do.
“My very final scene was emotional. We had done some rehearsal and people were all in tears. You could have heard a pin drop on the studio floor, and there was an immense amount of sensitivity and care, they wanted to get this right. That I found in itself very moving let alone the thing being portrayed.”
The reality of leaving the soap hasn’t quite sunk in for the star yet, as he brands the role as the “most significant thing” that has happened in his career, and has made “so many great friends” on set.
He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Eventually it is going to hit me, it will be like running into a brick wall,” he says. “It is half my career and there is not a second of it I haven’t loved, and I’ve made so many great friends.
“It is the most significant thing that has happened in my professional life, And it is up there with getting married and having children. At the moment my wife is the breadwinner and I am on the Emmer-dole. I am rediscovering my domestic life, cooking and things.”
‘Emmerdale’ is on at 7pm every week day on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.

Gemma Oaten's Nick Knowles fling put her off dating

OHMYGOSSIP — Gemma Oaten’s fling with Nick Knowles has put her off dating.
The 32-year-old former ‘Emmerdale’ actress revealed her brief relationship with the ‘DIY SOS’ host – which ended when he reportedly dumped her to reconcile with his estranged wife – left her feeling “burned.
She told the Daily Star Sunday: “It was weird. It was very eggy and it did put me off dating.
“I’ve been a little bit burned and now is the time for me to be a little bit selfish and look after me.
“It’s not been easy. I saw him at the National Television Awards and you could cut the atmosphere with a knife.
“But I’m OK now. And if he’s all right that’s brilliant. I genuinely don’t wish him any ill will.
“I actually wish I could see him and talk to him about it. But that will never happen.”
Nick, 54, previously defended himself after he came under fire for how the fling ended, by saying they dated for “less than a week” during a “turbulent, traumatic” time in his life when he was estranged from Jessica Moor, the mother of his young son.
Taking to his Twitter account, after Gemma lashed out at him in a newspaper interview, he said: “Life is not about what happens to you, it’s about how you deal with it. This year we faced a miscarriage, the break down of our marriage and cancer without being disrespectful about each other at any point. We are saddened for each other and for the sake of our young son that this is being played out so publicly.
“The story in today’s paper is something that happened (in the space of less than one week) during a turbulent, traumatic time and more to the point – whilst we were separated. It is unfortunate we are having to relive it purely so someone can financially gain from exploiting our private life.
“With everything that’s happened this year, even discussing this seems very trivial in comparison to what we have dealt with and are still dealing with. As always, our answer is united, as we are. We have enjoyed eight years as best friends and nothing will change that. (sic)”

“They key interest for me was in the storylines lined up for Kyle. I think they are amazing, taking the character on a real journey and something I am really enjoying playing a part in. Fingers crossed the audience like the surprises as they keep coming.”

Mo Adeniran wins The Voice UK

OHMYGOSSIP — Mo Adeniran has won ‘The Voice UK’.
The talented singer – who was mentored by Jennifer Hudson – beat off strong competition from Jamie Miller and Into The Ark, to be crowned the winner on Sunday’s (02.04.17) final of the ITV show.
He said: “Thank you everyone at home, just want to say thank you to Jennifer and all the coaches.
“An amazing thank you to the most phenomenal person I have ever met, thank you Jennifer.”
Mo, 21, impressed the judges and the viewing public with his renditions of ‘Iron Sky’ by Paolo Nutini AND ‘Unsteady’ by X Ambassadors, in the final.
Mo has won a life-changing record deal with Polydor Records and the company immediately took to Twitter to congratulate him.
Polydor tweeted: “CONGRATS TO @imjustcalledmo FOR WINNING THE VOICE UK!
“We’ll be seeing you soon (sic).”
Speaking previously about her acts, Jennifer admitted she had a favourite but did not say who, although she revealed Mo was “easy to work with”.
She said: “I have one steady favourite and the others I see in a different light every week. Mo is really shy and easy to work with. You have to remind him it’s a competition sometimes, he’s so nice.”
Meanwhile, during the final, host Emma Willis was forced to apologise after coach Sir Tom Jones said “f**k me” live on air.
She said: “There may have been a little swear word that popped out then through excitement – apologies to anybody if they were offended.”
And just minutes later, the stage was invaded by a fan, who waved a placard as he ran across the stage.
However, he was quickly removed by security guards.

Kieron Richardson didn't cry for 9 years

OHMYGOSSIP — Kieron Richardson went without crying for nine years.
The ‘Hollyoak’s hunk – who is known for portraying Ste Hay in the long-running soap – has admitted the death of his pet pooch Ricky hit him hard a few weeks ago and he even burst into tears – something he hasn’t done since his nana died in 2008.
Speaking to star magazine, he said: “The last time I cried was a few weeks ago when my pug Ricky died. I’d had him for 10 years. I fake cry all the time, but I haven’t genuinely cried like that since my nana died in 2008.”
However, the 31-year-old actor found himself in a flap earlier this week when he accidentally let slip during an appearance on ‘This Morning’ that his alter ego was behind Amy Barnes’ (Ashley Slanina-Davies) shocking murder.
Speaking on the show, he said: “The performances are absolutely brilliant. Ashley who plays Amy Barnes is an absolutely fantastic actress. Even in my final scenes when I… no. Is this live? Have you got any jobs here? I might need one.”
Holly Willoughby then attempted to change the subject to stop Kieron getting himself into any more trouble with Channel 4 bosses by asking him about the impending birth of his twins, which were conceived via surrogate, with his husband Carl Hyland.
He explained: “I’m having two babies via a surrogate… We argue all the time over the names but we’re not going to tell anyone … I can’t really concentrate right now because I feel like I’ve just lost my job. There’s loads of suspects. I hate this job.”

Gavin Rossdale's Voice future in doubt

OHMYGOSSIP — Gavin Rossdale could be axed from ‘The Voice’ after just one season.
The Bush frontman hasn’t yet had talks with the producers of the show about extending his contract, but his fellow coaches, Sir Tom Jones, will.i.am, and Jennifer Hudson revealed they have already begun their negotiations.
Asked if he’d entered discussions, he told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: “I think they’re waiting until the end of the series. They’re waiting for us to clear every hurdle.”
However, Tom said: “We’re talking about it now. It looks pretty positive. I hate to count my chickens before they hatch because I’ve been in this business for a long time.
“But they know I like the show. It’s all pretty positive. The deadline for a decision is the summertime.”
And will confirmed he’s “in talks”, while Jennifer added: “I’ve already said I will come back. I don’t see why I wouldn’t.
“I would love to do next year. I will make time for it because I’ve enjoyed this year. I’ve had a great time.”
If Gavin, 51, does leave the show, he’ll think it’s because he did something “wrong”, but even if he does go, he will simply focus on the positive things he’s taken from the experience.
He said: “If they don’t ask me back then a bit like when my acts went out, I would wonder what I did wrong. But I’ve had a great time doing it – it’s been incredible for me.
“People have got to know me a little bit, way more than they ever did before. You’ve just got to take the positive about it.”
Gavin was “disappointed” when his remaining acts, Max Vickers and Truly Ford, left the show in last weekend’s semi-final, and admitted he questioned whether it was down to his own choices.
He said: “It was a little disappointing in some ways and in other ways I haven’t thought about it at all. Of course I questioned my song choices.
“With Truly she is so complete I don’t know whether she is a bit intimidating for some people, the people who are voting at home.
“I just feel proud of the acts that I have, they are great and I think that everything is beginning for them really. This is an incredible platform for them.”

will.i.am's Michelle John voted off The Voice UK

OHMYGOSSIP — will.i.am’s Michelle John has been voted off ‘The Voice UK’.
The 43-year-old singer – who’s mentor was the Black Eyes Peas rapper – has failed to make it through to the second part of the live finals weekend as she received the fewest public votes and was sent home during Saturday’s (01.04.17) show.
Each finalist – which included duo Into The Ark, as well as soloists Mo Adeniran and Jamie Miller – sang twice during the show to secure votes from the public, once on their own and once with their mentor.
Michelle took on Prince’s ‘Purple Rain’ in her solo effort, hitting impressive high notes along the way, and was joined by the ‘Scream & Shout’ hitmaker later in the show for a rendition of ‘I Feel For You’, also originally by Prince.
Welsh duo Into The Ark performed a rendition of Alicia Keys’ ‘No One’ before being joined by mentor Tom Jones for their take on ‘Hold On, I’m Comin’ by Sam & Dave.
Jamie Miller and Mo Adeniran both had Jennifer Hudson as their mentor and as such, the 35-year-old pop megastar was tasked with performing twice.
First, Jamie took to the stage to perform Justin Bieber’s ‘What Do You Mean?’ on his own, and was joined by Jennifer for a performance of ‘Runnin’ by Naughty Boy and Beyonce.
Meanwhile, Mo’s solo performance was a slow version of Swedish House Mafia’s ‘Don’t You Worry Child’, which was followed by a rendition of Labrinth’s ‘Beneath You’re Beautiful’ featuring Emlie Sande alongside his mentor.
Despite not making it through to Sunday’s (02.04.17) final battle, Michelle insists she still feels like a winner for making it this far in the competition.
She said: “I’ve got this far and I feel like a winner.”
Into The Ark, Mo, and Jamie will now battle it out for the chance to get their hands on a life changing record deal with Polydor Records.
‘The Voice’ live final concludes on Sunday (02.04.17) at 7pm on ITV.

Al Yankovic sees himself in Milo Murphy's Law character

OHMYGOSSIP — Weird Al Yankovic says his ‘Milo Murphy’s Law’ character is an “extension of my own personality”.
The 57-year-old Grammy-winning satirist – whose real name is Alfred Yankovic – voices the character of 13-year-old Milo Murphy in the Disney animated series and he was immediately drawn to Milo because he sees himself in him.
He said: “The show appealed to me exponentially more when I found out about the character they wanted me to play. Milo Murphy is a 13-year-old kid who’s basically a walking jinx – but he’s not a dour, mopey character. He learns to expect the unexpected and he turns every catastrophe into an adventure. He’s a very positive kid with a very uplifting personality, and I think that it’s an extension of my own personality. I like to think I’m optimistic and it’s not a big stretch for me to channel my inner 13-year-old.
“Personality-wise, I like to think we are similar – but I don’t think I was much of a walking jinx when I was 13 years old. Or now. Milo’s more like the kid I wish I could have been. I certainly wasn’t as high-spirited and positive when I was his age. I was fine, but Milo’s the embodiment of a good attitude.”
Christian Slater voices Elliot Decker, the arch-nemesis of Milo, in the upcoming animated series which will air on the Disney Channel starting April 3.
However, the pair have not had a chance to spend too much time together.
Al explained: “I’m almost always solo in the recording booth. For the first season of ‘Milo Murphy’s Law’, I think I had one session with other voice actors – but that’s it. For 99 per cent of the time, it’s just me alone. That’s the way I record my albums, so I’m used to it and I like it that way. There are no other actors alongside me.”
‘Milo Murphy’s Law’ follows the story 13-year-old Milo, a descendant of the Murphy’s Law namesake and the personification of the law which says anything that can go wrong will go wrong.
Elliot Decker is a volunteering school crossing guard and “self-proclaimed Safety Tsar” who spies on Milo as the boy embarks on turning catastrophe into adventure, as Elliot believes him to be a danger to the other people in the city.
‘Milo Murphy’s Law’ airs on Disney Channel and DisneyLife from Monday 3rd April.

Stephanie Davis wants to rekindle romance with Jeremy McConnell

OHMYGOSSIP — Stephanie Davis wants to give Jeremy McConnell a second chance.
Stephanie has claimed that her on/off boyfriend Jeremy – the father of her two-month-old son Caben – is checking into rehab for drug addiction and when he completes his treatment, she would like them to get back together.
She told OK! Online: “Once he’s proved himself why can’t people have a second chance?
“I would take a step back from the public eye. I don’t want people to think I’m a walkover or I think that what’s happened is acceptable – I don’t condone his behaviour.
“Jeremy is a very troubled lad, he didn’t have the best start in life with his mum, brother and sister dying and his dad dying recently. I think his dad just dying was a trigger and I said to him it’s not acceptable but you need to find out why when these things happen you use that as your trigger and how to stop using it.
“You’re not mentally right with it. I feel like he’s done that to me, it’s not because he doesn’t love me, it’s because he’s totally in despair.”
The couple – who got together last January after they met in the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house but split shortly afterwards following a series of blazing rows – rekindled their relationship a few weeks after their little one was born in January 2017.
However, the pair split again last month when Jeremy allegedly assaulted the 24-year-old actress while he was residing at her home in Liverpool.
The 27-year-old Irish model was taken into police custody at a Merseyside police station in North West England a few days after the alleged incident for questioning.
A spokesperson for the station said: “Following a report of an assault at an address in Stephenson Grove, Rainhill, a man has this morning (16.03.17) been arrested.
“A 27-year-old man from Liverpool city centre has been arrested on suspicion of assault and criminal damage after voluntarily attending a police station on Merseyside. He remains in police custody for questioning.”
Jeremy was later released from custody but it’s not yet known whether he was charged with assault and criminal damage.
