Isabelle Warburton has won Big Brother

OHMYGOSSIP — Isabelle Warburton has won ‘Big Brother’.
The 21-year-old blonde beauty was crowned the winner of the Channel 5 reality show during the live fine on Friday (28.07.17), after she beat off competition from runner-up Raph Korine.
Earlier in the show, Deborah Agboola and Tom Barber – who rounded out the final four – missed out on all the glory, as they were booted off in third and fourth place respectively.
Deborah didn’t take her loss to heart, however, and said despite coming third she still feels like a “winner.”
Speaking after her exit, she said: “It feels good. I said when I have accomplished what I have done, I’m already a winner. It was nice to know that I deserved my place here.”
However, Deborah and Tom weren’t the first housemates to leave the show, as Andrew Cruickshanks left the infamous abode early in the programme because he was ineligible to win due to being a Second Chance housemate.
Meanwhile, Raph said appearing on the show was the “best” way to spend his summer, despite narrowly missing out on the top spot.
He said in his post-eviction interview: “To be able to spend my summer in my favourite show has been the best thing.”
And despite coming in fourth, Tom was also pleased with the experience he’d had on the programme.
He said: “I didn’t even think I was going in, the next thing I’m sat in the final thinking ‘What is going on’. Life is a rollercoaster and you’ve just got to roll with it, just like the ‘Big Brother’ house.”
During his time on the show, Tom unfortunately faced a secret health scare which saw him leave the house temporarily, and praised fellow contestant Kieran Lee for helping him through the tough time.
Speaking about Kieran, he added: “I love him to bits, he helped me through a lot. I got ill, I had to go out and have a brain scan and stuff, ear infection, tonsillitis, I was like ‘I can’t go any longer’ and he was like, ‘You’ve got a couple of days left so keep going’ so massively, I love him.”
Whilst ‘Big Brother’ might have come to an end for another year, fans can catch the start of ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ on Channel 5 on Tuesday (01.08.17).

Former Diversity star Rob Anker dead

OHMYGOSSIP — Former Diversity dancer Robert Anker has been killed in a car crash in Canada.
The dance star – who formerly danced with the troupe who won the third series of ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ in 2009 – was just 27 years old when he passed away from injuries sustained in the crash in Canada on Thursday (27.07.17), where he had moved following his marriage to partner Cyndi last year.

The page reads: “Weʼre raising £5,000 to support the sudden loss of Robert Anker. To provide money for his funeral, flights from Canada and food for his family at this tragic time.
“On 27th July 2017, Robert Anker aged 27 was involved in a fatal car accident in Canada and sadly passed away at the scene.

Bryan Cranston: Women have tougher time in Hollywood

OHMYGOSSIP — Bryan Cranston believes Hollywood “spits out women” when they are older.
The 61-year-old actor – who has starred in several movies, including ‘Power Rangers’, as well as TV series ‘Breaking Bad’ – has blasted the film industry’s “double standards”, insisting men have it much easier than women.
Speaking on ‘Good Morning Britain’ on Thursday (27.07.17), Cranston said: “It’s great for me. I can’t complain about it but I think honestly there’s probably a double standard to that; I think it’s a lot more difficult with women.
“There’s an old phrase that said Hollywood eats up women in their 20s and spits them out in their 30s because it’s so hard.
“We love youth and beauty and we embrace that. But women have a more difficult time. When they say a man, he’s getting dignified, a woman, oh is getting older now and it’s unfortunate.”
Cranston isn’t the only actor who believes that Hollywood has a different stance between men and women.
‘Mad Men’ actress Elisabeth Moss claimed she has been on the wrong end of “sexist” actions, insisting there is an issue with the gender wage gap.
She said: “Have I experienced sexism like Peggy did in the 1960s? Of course not.
“But have there been times when I haven’t made as much as a man? I’m sure. And it’s a factual thing, not a matter of opinion. That’s sexist.”
Dame Julie Walters has also blasted the gender pay gap in the movie industry as “wrong”.
The 67-year-old actress is furious women are often given much lower salaries than their male co-stars, insisting the disparity makes no sense.
She recently said: “[Men are] earning more money. Why? It’s the same bloody job!
“It’s women who go to the cinema more, generally speaking, so it doesn’t make sense from that point of view either. I think it’s wrong. Equal pay is the answer.”

Denis Villeneuve: Blade Runner 2049 is homage to original

OHMYGOSSIP — Denis Villeneuve insists ‘Blade Runner 2049’ is an “homage to a world that doesn’t exist anymore”.
The 49-year-old filmmaker is currently helming the sequel to the classic movie ‘Blade Runner’ and claims the film honours the original by featuring businesses which previously went bankrupt or ceased operations, including Atari and Pan American Airlines.
Speaking to Collider at the San Diego Comic Con, he said: “There are some components in the original movie that made it stand out for me.
“Seeing the adverts when I first saw the movie was like an extension of my reality and it was like [Sir] Ridley Scott had just taken a time-travelling machine into the future.
“He had the guts to get real companies in the film. I tried to do the same which is to take some of the companies and like they are still alive.
“It’s a homage to a world that doesn’t exist anymore.”
Sir Ridley Scott’s movie – which had 17 different cuts – was first released in 1982.
Villeneuve is now working on the sequel and admitted he doesn’t like to use a lot of dialogue.
He said: “The truth is I am someone who doesn’t believe in a lot of dialogue.
“I realised that just the actor looking out the window says more than the three pages of dialogue. I have a tendency to remove as much as I can.
“Cinema is more powerful than dialogue.”
The filmmaker also said the music and cinematography were both inspired by the original movie’s DNA and he wanted to stay faithful to the classic motion picture.
‘Blade Runner 2049’ sees Harrison Ford reprise his role as Rick Deckard and Ryan Gosling and Jared Leto also star in the sequel.
The film is slated for release in October this year.

Judy Greer to reprise role in Ant-Man and the Wasp

OHMYGOSSIP — Judy Greer is attached to return to ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’.
The 41-year-old actress, who is to star in ‘Public Schooled’, has just signed up to reprise her role of Maggie Lang in the Marvel and Disney sequel.
While exact details of the plot are yet to be revealed, filming is expected to start shortly, according to Deadline.
Greer’s character is Scott Lang/ Ant-Man’s ex-wife and mother to his daughter.
The announcement follows Marvel’s Comic-Con presentation which revealed Michelle Pfeiffer will be playing Janet Van Dyne and Laurence Fishburne has been cast as Dr. Bill Foster.
Peyton Reed will direct the movie, with Paul Rudd reprising the titular role.
What’s more, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas and Michael Pena will also reprise their roles.
Greer has a busy year ahead – not only is she starring in the MGM remake of ‘Valley Girl’, she is attached to Richard Linklater’s ‘Where’d You Go Bernadette’, and Clint Eastwood’s next film ’15:17 To Paris’.

Jane Fonda drank vodka to calm nerves on Barbarella

OHMYGOSSIP — Jane Fonda downed “a lot of vodka” on the set of ‘Barbarella’.
The 79-year-old Oscar-winning actress starred as the titular character in the 1968 cult classic movie, but when she was doing the opening striptease she was hungover after drinking the alcoholic beverage to help her nerves.
Speaking to the Metro newspaper, the actress said: “I was so nervous – because I’m kind of modest – that I drank a lot of vodka.
“But there were technical problems, so I had to do it all over again the next day. So I was not only drinking vodka again but was hungover from the day before.”
The classic film follows astronaut Barbarella who lands on the frozen planet Lythion and sets out to find renowned scientist Durand Durand (Milo O’Shea).
She encounters such objects as the Excessive Machine – a sex organ on which an expert artist of the keyboard can drive a victim to death by pleasure – a lesbian queen, and a group of ladies smoking a giant hookah which dispenses Essence of Man through a victim in a glass globe.
Although the film was full of now-iconic set designs and props, the ‘Monster-in-Law’ actress said she didn’t keep any of them.
She said: “I kick myself now. I didn’t understand the value of keeping stuff. I could have made a lot of money if I had.”
Back in 2005, Fonda announced she was retiring from acting, but 15 years later but she missed the industry while writing her memoirs.
She said: “I left the business because I was unhappy and it was hard for me to feel creative.
“Writing my memoir and having 15 years away changed me, and I realised that I could be happy again acting.
“So I did ‘Monster-in-Law’ and I had such a good time I wanted to do it more.
“I’m having more fun now. The demons that used to plague me, that made it difficult for me to enjoy acting, are gone.”

Rebel Wilson and Josh Gad eyed for Little Shop of Horrors remake

OHMYGOSSIP — Rebel Wilson and Josh Gad are being eyed for the remake of ‘Little Shop Of Horrors’.
Wilson, who shot to fame in the hit acapella series ‘Pitch Perfect’, looks set to take on the role of Audrey, and the ‘Beauty and the Beast’ star Gad is set to play Seymour, Den of Geek reports.
But neither of the two actors have officially signed up for the Warner Bros. remake.
The film studio has embarked on a reboot of the 1986 cult musical comedy title with ‘Green Lantern’ director Greg Berlanti at the helm.
Marc Platt is producing and The Invention Of Lying’s Matthew Robinson is writing the script for the revamp which will retell the iconic story of the nerdy florist’s assistant Seymour, who accidentally cultivates a plant that has a deadly taste for human flesh and blood.
Seymour has to keep the fanged monster Flora – which he names Audrey II after the woman he has a crush on – fed so that it doesn’t turn its attentions to him.
Though the musical version of the story – as brought to the stage by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman – is the most well known, ‘Little Shop’ was actually written by Charles. B Griffith and made into a movie in 1960.
The film was directed by Roger Corman, and featured a cameo from Jack Nicholson as a pain-seeking dental patient.
However, it became a cult classic when it was developed by Frank Oz in 1986 and starred Rick Moranis, Steve Martin and John Candy.
Berlanti last directed the 2010 comedy ‘Life As We Know It’ and recently helmed TV series ‘Supergirl’ and ‘The Flash’.

Zoe Kazan thinks acting is ‘a very strange profession’

OHMYGOSSIP — Zoe Kazan thinks being an actress is “a very strange profession”.
The 33-year-old star thinks having a career in the entertainment industry is unusual because for “12 hours” of the day she has to “pretend” to live a lie by being someone else and loving another person, before she can return to her “normal” life.
Speaking about the industry, the California-born beauty said: “But, honestly being an actor is a very strange profession to start with. You spend 12 hours of your day pretending to be someone else and love someone else and then you go back to your normal life at night.”
However, Zoe, who portrays Kumail Ninjiani’s on-screen girlfriend Emily in ‘The Big Sick’, has hinted she didn’t find it as out of the ordinary playing a fictional character in the romantic comedy whilst Kumail simply played himself.
When asked about the concept, the ‘Ruby Sparks’ star said: “It should have been incredibly weird.”
Zoe has revealed she spent “entire days” lying in bed dead still when they filmed the movie because her character is in a coma for a large majority of the production.
She said: “Your only job in that situation is to lie there and be still. I did a lot of lying in that bed, I was hooked up to all this medical equipment and sensors, and it took about 15 minutes to get them on or off, so the crew would say; ‘We can unhook you but we’re on a tight schedule, do you mind just staying in bed?’ So I spent entire days in bed.”
However, the star did find ways to entertain herself whilst shooting the movie, which saw her hide books behind her back so when she got a spare moment in between takes and was unable to move she would pick up her novel and read.
She told Stylist magazine: “[I] hid books behind my back so I could read between takes”.

Jeremy Renner’s movie vow

OHMYGOSSIP — Jeremy Renner won’t make another movie unless he can work with Taylor Sheridan.
The ‘Avengers’ actor teamed up with the Oscar-nominated screenwriter for his directorial debut ‘Wind River’ and Jeremy enjoyed the experience so much that he has insisted on working with the filmmaker on his next project.
Jeremy told The Hollywood Reporter: “The next job I do, outside of the ‘Avengers’, that I’m doing now, will be with him. Otherwise, I probably won’t be on the screen.
“Being a director is all about perspective. Taylor’s perspective as a writer comes across in the first 10 pages. I get where he’s going. He is patient and raw and unapologetic and harrowing. And when you get that in the first 10 pages you are like, ‘Oh, f**k.'”
Jeremy’s co-star Elizabeth Olsen was also full of praise for Sheridan, saying: “He is one of the most direct communicators I know. It was a nice creative experience because we know we aren’t going to offend one another. We are just trying to make the best film possible.”
In the movie, Olsen portrays an FBI agent who travels to Utah to investigate the murder of a girl who has frozen to death and who is discovered by Cory (Renner), a hunter and ranger for the Fish and Game government department.
Dealing with grief following the death of his teenage daughter, Cory helps the rookie agent navigate the hostile and unfamiliar terrain of the Utah wilderness.
Sheridan also write the screenplay and said he chose to direct the movie because he wanted to share his vision for the project.
He explained: “There were elements of this vision that I wanted to see through. I wanted it to be told a certain way, and the only way to do that was to direct it.”

Stephanie Davis is ‘obsessed’ with Jeremy McConnell

OHMYGOSSIP — Stephanie Davis has reportedly become “obsessed” with Jeremy McConnell.
The 24-year-old actress has just been taken off bail by police after she allegedly assaulted her former flame during a scuffle earlier this month, but friends are said to be “really concerned” about her as she’s reportedly been following his whereabouts online.
A source told The Sun Online: “Steph is becoming obsessed with Jez and his whereabouts to the point her friends and her family are really concerned. She will sit for hours constantly refreshing social media and searching his name to see if anything comes up. It’s like nothing else matters at the minute. We’ve all said she needs to occupy her mind some other way. It’s not healthy doing what she’s doing.”
The fight left the 28-year-old hunk with a broken nose and fractured skull, while Stephanie came away with five broken ribs and a bruised nose but, despite the nature of their spat, the former ‘Hollyoaks’ star is reportedly still hoping for a reunion.
The insider explained: “Jez and Steph have had no contact since what happened in the hotel. It’s made her more obsessive about Jeremy as she’s not spoken to him and has no idea what he is up to. Everyone is worried but there’s no getting through to her.”
However, a representative for the star has branded the comments “absurd” and insists she’s too busy raising her six-month-old son Caben-Albi to sit online all day.
The spokesperson told the publication: “This is an absolute fabrication. Stephanie is too busy bringing up her son Caben as a single Mother. The suggestion that she would even have the time to be sat online all day is absurd.”
The pair started dating last January after they fell in love in the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house but, just weeks after they left the abode, their relationship started to crumble and they decided to go their separate ways.
Stephanie later found out she was pregnant but Jeremy refused to have anything to do with her until a paternity test, which was carried out on the tot when he was four weeks old, proved he was Caben’s dad.
Then they decided to give their romance another go, but things hit the rocks again in March when Jeremy was admitted to rehab for his drugs and alcohol addictions.

EastEnders extra gets axed

OHMYGOSSIP — An ‘EastEnders’ extra has been given the sack after they allegedly stole a phone from the cast and stashed it in their sock.
Bosses of the popular long-running soap have been forced to dismiss a member of staff, who has reportedly worked on the show for a years, and ramp up security backstage after they were caught snatching a valuable belonging to one of their famous co-stars, whose identity is not yet known, while they were doing a scene on set a few months ago.
A source told The Sun Online: “The man had taken the sim out but the phone had a tracking device and he was caught with it in his sock. He denied he stole it but if you take the sim out and have it down your sock, you’re not giving it back. But now all the extras are worried about their belongings.
“Some of the extras have taken to taking their phones with them on set. He was chucked off the show, the agency dumped him. All the extras leave their phones in what I can only describe is like a garden shed because they’re not allowed to take phones on set because if it goes off it ruins the scene.
“Some of the extras are demanding lockers and are taking their phones on set.”
Meanwhile, the soap has hit the headlines recently as former star Ross Kemp – who was known for playing bad boy Grant Mitchell – accused the now-former executive producer Sean O’Connor of running the cast into the ground.
He said previously: “He reminded me of a sort of schoolteacher of a kind of third-rate public school.
“That’s not really what you want for the cast of ‘EastEnders’. You write it well, you cast it well and you do the right things — and you don’t abuse certain members, i.e. you don’t work them into the f****** ground, which is what happened. The cast are earning more than the executive producers, which makes it a very odd power balance, doesn’t it?”

Scarlett Moffatt scared her sex secrets will be spilled

OHMYGOSSIP — Scarlett Moffatt is terrified her ex-boyfriend will spill all her saucy sex secrets.
The ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ winner has reportedly been riddled with nerves since she found out her former beau Richard Cull – who she split with in 2013 following nine months of dating – had signed up to the new dating show ‘Make or Break’ because she’s convinced he’ll attempt to tarnish her name and destroy her career.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: “Scarlett thought this was all done.
“But she knows how reality TV works and producers are going to be desperate for him to open up about their bedroom secrets.”
The 26-year-old beauty is also concerned for her boyfriend Luke Crodden – who she has just rekindled with following their split earlier this year – as she thinks it’ll be hard for him to hear things about her past and what she got up to in the bedroom.
The insider added: “She has just got things back on track with Luke, so it’s a real disaster. Hopefully he can ignore her past.”
And it’s hardly surprising that Scarlett is concerned as Richard previously branded their split “toxic” and claimed that they ended because she had been unfaithful.
He said at the time: “It ended badly, she cheated on me to put it bluntly. I saw the texts from the other guy on the phone.
“There was a lot of drama. It ended very sour. It was toxic and it took me months to get over her. I was depressed and in a dark place afterwards.”
Meanwhile, Richard has joined the show alongside his girlfriend Sophii Wassallo as they attempt to save their relationship one final time.

Love Island’s Montana Brown to be TV presenter

OHMYGOSSIP — Love Island’s Montana Brown wants to become a television presenter.
The 21-year-old beauty – who was dumped from the famous villa just one day before the live final – has just signed up to the talent management firm ROAR Global, who cares for the careers of the likes of Lorraine Kelly, Mark Wright and Denise Van Outen, as she’s hoping to use the fame she’s gained from the show to help her become a host.
A source told The Sun Online : “Unlike many of the other ‘Love Island’ contestants Montana is determined to keep the projects she chooses classy.
“She wants to forge a glowing telly presenting to career so turned down offers from reality TV agents and followed the stars. Montana feels she is something really special and has aimed high. She has dreams of her own talk show aimed at younger people so wants the best management team possible around her.”
And that’s not all the brunette babe is hoping to achieve off the back of the show either, as she’s also planning to launch her own fashion range in the near future.
The insider added: “Montana loves fashion – she planning on launching a clothes range in the near future too.”
Meanwhile, Montana came under fire last week when she revealed she wasn’t “in love” with her boyfriend Alex Beattie, who she met on the show, but she has since insisted she likes him a lot but has trust issues because of her estranged dad.
She said previously: “I know who my father is but I don’t have any sort of a relationship with him. I’ve grown up without him. I do not want to make amends with him at all – that is not what I am looking for and not why I entered the show.
“Even if he was proud of me for doing this experience – that is not something that is going to happen. I don’t want him in my life. I never thought I would speak about it on TV. It is something I normally do my best to avoid speaking about. But I have a lot of barriers so I needed to open up about that. It was important.”

Marcel Somerville gets ‘withdrawal symptoms’ from Gabby Allen

OHMYGOSSIP — Love Island’s Marcel Somerville is getting “withdrawal symptoms” from his girlfriend Gabby Allen after they spent their first night apart from one another on Thursday (27.07.17).
The loved-up pair have been inseparable since they met and fell in love inside the famous villa at the beginning of last month, so it’s no wonder the Blazin’ Squad hunk was missing his partner when he went back home without her yesterday evening.
Taking to his Instagram, the 31-year-old singer uploaded a photograph of him and Gabby cuddling up to one another alongside the sweet caption: “Not sharing a bed with this one tonight is gonna be weird!!! #withdrawlsymptoms but I’m lookin forward to seeing my house!!! #imcominhome #hometime (sic).”
But it won’t be long before the pair are back in each other’s arms as there is expected to be a ‘Love Island’ reunion – featuring all of the contestants – this weekend.
The pair initially raised eyebrows about the authenticity of their romance inside the villa as they managed to share a bed for two months without having sex.
But they have revealed they finally did the deed after the wrap party earlier this week as they were away from the cameras and couldn’t wait to get frisky beneath the sheets.
Gabby said recently: “We had sex last night after the wrap party. We were in a villa with no cameras so we flip reversed it.”
Meanwhile, although he’s only just returned to England following six weeks in Mallorca, Spain, Marcel has been very busy as he’s just landed a publishing deal.
Marcel took to Twitter to announce the news of his new book yesterday and wrote: “News!! I’m excited to announce I am releasing my own book in August with Blink Publishing, ‘Dr Marcel’s Little Book of Big Love’ #LoveIsland (sic)”
He’s also expected to rejoin his band Blazin’ Squad later this year and recently teased that the hip-hop group have been talking about dropping some new material.

The Jump has been axed

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘The Jump’ has been axed.
The winter sports show, which sees celebrities go head to head in a variety of winter events, has been given the chop by Channel 4 due to the fact 34 contestants have suffered life-changing injuries over just four series.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “It’s felt like ‘The Jump’ has been on borrowed time for a while now as the injuries mount up. The fact Channel 4 have decided against bringing it back next year suggests it’s not a loved property. If it was getting big enough numbers, it would be locked into the schedule.”
Bosses were toying with the idea of shelving the show last year after they received a series of complaints when gymnast Beth Tweddle broke her back during training.
And she’s not the only one who had to undergo surgery after taking a tumble on the slopes as former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ dancer Ola Jordan twisted her knee while competing on the programme and doesn’t think her leg will ever be the same again.
Rebecca Adlington dislocated her elbow, ‘Holby City’ actress Tina Hobley broke her shoulder in numerous places and still can’t return to work due to the injury, and ‘Made in Chelsea’ hunk Mark-Francis Vandelli snapped his ankle while working on the show.
Although it’s thought the programme will be off air indefinitely, a spokesperson has said that the show is merely on a “rest” for a year due to the 2018 Winter Olympics.
They said in a statement: “‘The Jump’ has been a hugely successful brand.
“However, with such a huge amount of winter sport on screen at the start of 2018, we have decided to rest the show for the year.”

Vicky Pattison felt ‘inadequate’ on Loose Women

OHMYGOSSIP — Vicky Pattison quit ‘Loose Women’ because she felt inadequate.
The ‘Geordie Shore’ star joined the panel of the daytime ITV show last year, after her success on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ made her a household name, but Vicky admitted she left just nine months later because she felt out of her depth.
She told Bella magazine: “Being offered the show was a huge achievement.
“Everyone’s so lovely, so professional, with a wealth of experience. It just highlighted my lack of experience and naivety.
“A lot of the topics they discussed on the show – marriage, divorce, hardcore feminism, kids – loads of housewives and women can relate to that, but I found myself coming up short quite a lot.
“I’m not going to do something I’m not good at. I felt inadequate, and I don’t want to feel like that. I want to give it 110 per cent.
“I’d love to go back, but at the moment, I’m happy as it is.”
However, while she may have left the show abruptly, Vicky, 29, has remained close to the other panellists.
She said: “I keep in touch with most of them. Love Ruth Langsford, love Coleen Nolan , love Stacey Solomon.
“”Me and [fiancé] John [Noble] had a double date with Stacey and her boyfriend Joe Swash at Wimbledon recently and had a lovely time.”
