Rebecca Adlington wants to compete on Strictly Come Dancing

OHMYGOSSIP — Rebecca Adlington wants to take part in ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The former Olympic swimmer – who previously took part in ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ – would like to learn to dance on the BBC ballroom show, but she has admitted she will have to wait until her two-year-old daughter Summer is a little bit older.
The athlete, who has teamed up with Thomson to launch a special swimming lesson for guests at the TUI Family Life Bellevue Resort in Croatia, said: “‘Strictly’ is the only one I’d do now, but it is a demanding show and difficult with kids and work, but maybe when Summer is older.”
The 28-year-old star – who split from Summer’s father, Harry Needs, last year – can next be seen taking part on ‘Celebrity MasterChef’ and she adored the experience.
She said: “I had the best time. John Torode and Gregg Wallace were lovely. I was really thrown in the deep end though – it was crazy.”
Rebecca may be currently single but she’d “love” to have another baby one day.
She said: “I’d really love to [have more kids]. Summer adores her five-month-old cousin. She says, ‘Baby’ and holds him and strokes his head when he’s crying.
“I think she’d love to have a sibling, so maybe one day in the future.”
And the blonde athlete thinks the way her body has changed since she had Summer is proof she should have another baby.
She told OK! magazine: “It’s so different and I have so many stretch marks but I embrace them. I have a kangaroo pouch and no matter how much I exercise or eat well, it’s still there. I think it’s because it wants another [baby].
“I do little workouts with summer because I want to show her I’m being healthy. I want her to see her mum putting on a swimsuit and I don’t want to see her mum putting herself down.”

Ant McPartlin ‘over the worst’ of drink and drug addiction

OHMYGOSSIP — Ant McPartlin is “over the worst” of his addiction to drink and drugs.
The 41-year-old presenter is currently spending two months at a rehab clinic to treat his demons and sources close to the star have revealed he is “on the mend,” after he was spotted outside the compound for the first time on Saturday (29.07.17).
A source said: “He is doing really well. It has been a tough few weeks but he is coming through it and is now over the worst of it.
“Ant has been very brave and is totally committed to his recovery. All that matters to him is getting well and getting back to his best.
The TV favourite is reportedly set to meet his wife Lisa – who is a make-up artist on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ – and co-presenter Declan Donnelly soon in an “emotional” reunion, but up until now he has been determined to fight the battle on his own.
The source added to the Sunday Mirror: “Ant and Lisa have been apart for nearly two months. That would be tough for any married couple – but they will be reunited very soon.
“Lisa is desperate to see Ant and she is expected to visit him shortly. Dec will be also seeing him soon. It’s bound to be emotional but Ant knows that Dec will be there for him every step of the way.
“Until now, he has decided he needs to be on his own to focus entirely on his illness and how he can best recover.
“Ant knows he has so much love and support – but this is a very personal battle that he is determined to win.”
Ant had hidden his addictions from Dec and 40-year-old Lisa, who he married in 2006.
And then last month, he revealed how depression led to addiction to prescription drugs, which he was taking to relieve pain in his knee after a botched operation.
He said: “I feel like I have let a lot of people down and for that I am truly sorry.”I want to thank my wife, family and closest friends for helping me through this really difficult time. I’ve spoken out because I think it’s important that people ask for help if they’re going through a rough time and get the proper treatment to help their recovery.”

Love Island’s Kem and Amber to host Good Morning Britain

OHMYGOSSIP — Love Island’s Amber Davis and Kem Cetinay are set to host ‘Good Morning Britain’.
The winners of the ITV2 reality series were over the moon when they scooped the £50,000 prize pot and they’ve now been offered a string of attractive telly jobs from top broadcasters, who hope they’ll also become a money-spinning presenting duo.
A source told The Sun: “Since Amber and Kem won, they’ve been inundated with offers. They’re both very keen to go down that route, and ITV and Channel 4 have shown interest. But they couldn’t pass up the chance to host Good Morning Britain.”
The news comes after Kem, 21, admitted he hated betraying Amber on ‘Love Island’ when he snogged Chyna Ellis, though he insisted he was on a break from his 20-year-old girlfriend at the time.
He said: “It was such a big moment. What happened was the biggest regret for me.
“I hate that I snogged Chyna. It is still hard for me to hear.
“I don’t like talking about it because it genuinely makes me feel sick. I hate it.
“Amber felt like I weren’t interested in her, that’s why she kept her options open.
“My way of dealing with feelings is putting it on someone else.”
However, he blamed the indiscretion on his feelings of vulnerability.
Kem said: “I was so not in control of the situation and was pushing everything away. It was my way of dealing with not knowing what was going on.
“Mine and Amber’s issue is that we are both so scared of being vulnerable in a serious relationship.
“When you’re young and in a relationship you’re always going to learn and make mistakes.”

Britain’s Got Talent bosses pay tribute to Diversity star Rob Anker

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ bosses have paid tribute to former Diversity dancer Robert Anker, who died in a car crash on Thursday (27.07.17).
The dance star won the third series of the ITV show with his former troupe in 2009 and was just 27 years old when he passed away from injuries sustained in the collision in Canada, where he had moved after he married his partner Cyndi last year.
On Saturday (29.07.17), a message of support was posted on the official Twitter account of the show, which said: “We are so sorry to hear of the loss of Robert Anker, our thoughts and condolences go out to his friends, family and the whole of Diversity. (sic)”
Robert was a founding member of the group alongside Ashley Banjo, who re-tweeted a tribute from Diversity’s twitter page which praised the talented dancer and said he was taken “far too soon.”
They said: “A former member of our group has tragically passed away. He inspired so many with his talent and was taken far too soon. R.I.P Rob (sic)”
Robert’s death was confirmed by his cousin Rochelle Hanson on Friday (28.07.17) when she set up a JustGiving.com page to help raise funds for the star’s funeral, and to fly his family out to Canada.
The page reads: “Weʼre raising £5,000 to support the sudden loss of Robert Anker. To provide money for his funeral, flights from Canada and food for his family at this tragic time.
“On 27th July 2017, Robert Anker aged 27 was involved in a fatal car accident in Canada and sadly passed away at the scene.
“We are raising funds for his family to be able to cover all costs for their trip to go and arrange his funeral in Canada.
“We would love to ensure that his family don’t worry or stress about money at this time.”
The page has a target of £5,000, and at the time of writing, 299 supporters have managed to help them reach their goal and raise an impressive £7,205.
York Regional Police in Canada said the crash happened on July 27 just before 06:00 local time (11:00 BST), when a Chevy Cobalt collided with a Ford F550 pick-up truck.
They confirmed the 27-year-old driver of the Chevy died at the scene, while the driver of the truck was uninjured.
A Foreign Office spokesman said: “We are aware of the death of a British man in Canada. We are providing assistance to his family at this sad time”.

A source said: “He played an iconic character and everyone recognises him.
“Soaps fans will love him in the house and he’s going to go down a storm with viewers.”
While Cheryl Tweedy reportedly fears that her former bandmate Sarah will talk about her inside the house.

Sarah Jayne Dunn wants baby son to appear in Hollyoaks

OHMYGOSSIP — Sarah Jayne Dunn wants her baby son to appear in ‘Hollyoaks’.
The 35-year-old actress has reprised her role as Mandy Richardson on the soap after a seven-year break, and her 11-month-old son Stanley – who she has with fiance Jonathan Smith – has been coming on set with her, so the blonde beauty plans to try and sneak him on screen at some point.
She said: “‘Hollyoaks’ coming along again has been perfect in terms of where Stanley was ad where I am. It’s been like going back to work from maternity leave. Stanley has already been outside the Dog in the Pond [pub]. I might try and get him a cameo.”
Despite her long absence from the show, Sarah insists it barely feels like she’s been away.
Speaking to Closer magazine, she said: “It’s like coming home. It’s lovely and I’m having a really nice time. It didn’t take long to fit back in and there’s still people here that I’ve known since I was 14.”
Sarah is returning alongside Gary Lucy, who plays Luke Morgan, and the pair are amazed it’s been so long since he last set foot in the village.
She said: “It’s lovely [to have him back] and Gary was saying the last time he was in ‘Hollyoaks’ was about 15 years ago. It doesn’t feel like two minutes.
“Back then we were just having a great time filming storylines as Mandy and Luke and then you look back on it and realise we were quite a big part of the show. Now? All I can say is Mandy is in a little bit of trouble and needs people around her.”

Shania Twain’s movie role

OHMYGOSSIP — Shania Twain is launching an acting career.
The 51-year-old singer has signed up to star alongside John Travolta in action movie ‘Trading Paint’.
A source told The Sun: “Shania is one of the world’s best songwriters and has no problems feeling and connecting with emotions.
“Until now she has expressed that in her songs but she is ready for a new challenge and is giving acting a go.
“The past 10 years have been tough for Shania. After the breakdown of her marriage in 2008 she feared she would never sing again.
“But she has recovered from that and is back stronger than ever. Her new album proves that, and so will her acting talent.”
Meanwhile, Shania – who has son Eja, 15, with ex-husband Mutt Lange – recently admitted she feared she would never sing again after being diagnosed with Lyme disease.
She said: “It’s a very debilitating disease, very degenerative. So I was very lucky at all that it affected the nerves on my vocal cords, not the vocal cords.
“I lost my voice for several years and I could speak but I couldn’t yell. I could never yell for my dog or my son or whatever.
“I also felt that I was never going to make another album — that was probably my truth. It was devastating. I really grieved about that. It did bring me down and I struggled with it every day.”

T.J. Miller promises ‘more Deadpool’ movies after sequel

OHMYGOSSIP — T.J. Miller has promised there will be plenty more ‘Deadpool’ movies.
The 36-year-old actor will reprise his role as Weasel – the best friend of Ryan Reynolds’ titular superhero – in the upcoming sequel to the 2016 eponymously titled Marvel movie and is confident about the franchise’s future.
Although he admits he is “surprised” at how well received the first ‘Deadpool’ was.
Asked if he expected it to do so well, he said: “Oh yeah … We had no idea! Now we’re going to make more ‘Deadpools’ and there will be more R-rated superhero genre films. So that’s, really good.
“All we need is for ‘Deadpool 2’ to be great.”
The flame-haired star is proud of ‘Deadpool’ and thinks it is the perfect movie to “cleanse the palate” after movies like ‘Fantastic Four’.
He told SFX Magazine: “He’s almost the antidote to the poison that is those very milk-toast superhero genre films.
“Like ‘Fantastic Four’ came out and everyone was like, ‘What are they doing?’
“i like ‘Deadpool’ being present every couple of years to cleanse the palate.”
In the meantime, Miller said the second instalment won’t follow the “same [story] in a different location” and will instead involve “different stakes”.
He said recently: “It’s not going to be like ‘Hangover 2’, it’s not going to be the same movie in a different location, for instance. It’s got different stakes, different things happen, some pretty tragic, dark s**t happens in the first part of the film, in the beginning, and the rest of the film is kind of dealing with that, so that’s interesting. But Weasel remains just absolutely the most selfish individual on the face of the planet.”

James McAvoy’s intense fight scenes with Charlize Theron

OHMYGOSSIP — James McAvoy loved getting his “ass kicked” by Charlize Theron in ‘Atomic Blonde’.
The 38-year-old actor plays Cold War-era spy David Percival in the action thriller alongside Charlize as Lorraine Broughton and James admitted his character cannot compete with Charlize’s in physical combat.
He told PEOPLE: “I didn’t have a lot of fight scenes but I was pretty pleased with myself for figuring out how to keep a cigarette in my mouth while I was getting my ass kicked by Charlize Theron. And by the way I actually did, there was no camera trickery, I actually kept it in my mouth the whole time.”
James sports a buzz cut in the movie but is currently bald as he prepares to reprise the role of Charles ‘Professor X’ Xavier in ‘X-Men’ movie ‘Dark Phoenix’, but James admitted he hates when he has to shave his head.
He explained: “I used to like the fact that it afforded me a certain amount of anonymity but it no longer does that. Since I did two movies that everybody saw where I had a bald head, now it’s like a f***ing beacon. But what do I like about it? Not a lot at the moment. I like when it’s been about five or seven days going in, then it’s cool but when it’s properly skinhead I look a bit weird. I do like the fact that I don’t have to do anything in the morning.”
And when he’s not working, James prefers to chill out at home rather than throw himself into the Hollywood lifestyle.
He said: “What do I enjoy most when I’m not working? Hard drinking and drugs! No, like most good people, I enjoy the usual s**t. Playing football, reading, I like cooking. All these boring things I like to do when I’m not flying around the world crazy, just being safe at home.”

Cara Delevingne was under guard when she read Valerian script

OHMYGOSSIP — Cara Delevingne’s ‘Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets’ script had its own bodyguard.
After the 24-year-old beauty – who plays special operative Laureline in the sci-fi saga – auditioned for her role, director Luc Besson kept the details of the film as tightly under wraps as he possibly could by employing security to sit with Cara as she read the script for the first time.
She told Look magazine: “We just met in LA and then I went to see him in Paris and he put me through an actor’s test where you pretend to be an animal.
“It was about physicality and throwing yourself into something.
“The script was so top secret it had to be sent with its own bodyguard and I had to sit there and read it all while the bodyguard was there.”
Cara was determined to do whatever it took to be in the film because she is such a big fan of the director and was desperate to work with him.
he said: “I’ve been a fan of the director ever since I can remember.
“To even meet the man, let alone be in one of his films, was a dream come true.
“The way he spoke about the film was like a child speaking about their fantasy. From that moment on, I fell in love with it. I knew I needed to do it.
“I really wanted to prove to him I’d do whatever it took.”
The ‘Paper Towns’ actress doesn’t want to limit herself to particular film genres and her only criteria when looking for parts is they are “strong” characters.
She said: “I’ve been lucky witht he parts I’ve had. They’re all strong female characters. It’s very important for me to be a role model for young girls. There isn’t any limit in terms of what I want to do as an actress.
“I want to do some comedy, scary movies, even musicals. I’m a big film buff. Any movie that comes my way I’d be happy to look at.”

Gabby Allen receives death threats

OHMYGOSSIP — Gabby Allen has received death threats over her relationship with Marcel Somerville.
The 25-year-old ‘Love Island’ star – who finished fourth on the show – admitted she was shocked when she turned on her phone after leaving the ITV2 series and saw the messages.
She told the Daily Star: “I couldn’t believe my phone when I came out.
“I’ve had death threats. I’ve been told to kill myself. It’s crazy.”
And she believes the show’s editing could be at fault, for making it appear as if she was treating her Blazing Squad star love badly.
She added: “Apparently there’s been scenes shown where it looked like I was being horrible to Marcel.
“I’ve been told they showed stuff like where we were having a conversation, he’d say something and I’d stick my middle finger up at him.
“It would obviously be a joke, but it would cut off before you could see that.
“When I came out, I was like, ‘What have people been seeing?’ You don’t know how you are being edited.”
However, Gabby insists she and 31-year-old Marcel are stronger than ever.
She said: “We are strong and we are going to be together.
“I could have chosen to go with someone else who came in the villa but at no point did I want to jeopardise what I have with Marcel.”
The pair initially raised eyebrows about the authenticity of their romance inside the villa as they managed to share a bed for two months without having sex.
But they have revealed they finally did the deed after the wrap party earlier this week as they were away from the cameras and couldn’t wait to get frisky beneath the sheets.
Gabby said recently: “We had sex last night after the wrap party. We were in a villa with no cameras so we flip reversed it.”

Martine McCutcheon is the ‘Cockney Mother Theresa’

OHMYGOSSIP — Martine McCutcheon is like the “Cockney Mother Theresa”.
The 41-year-old singer-and-actress – who has two-year-old son Rafferty with husband Jack McManus – still feels a huge amount of affection from fans wherever she goes, but she admits she used to be “frightened” by the attention because she feared she wouldn’t live up to the expectations or ideas people had of her, particularly in recent years when she was battling Lyme disease and chronic fatigue syndrome.
She said: “Jack says to me, ‘You’re like a f***ing Cockney Mother Theresa’. Because people come up to me in Waitrose and hug and kiss me.
“I can’t believe how much affection there is, it is so lovely.
“But when I was young it used to frighten me, because I thought I was going to be a let-down.
“People had pinned all this fabulousness on me, they thought I was going to be their best friend or something, but what if I was having a s**t day? It was especially hard when I was unwell. I just didn’t have the energy to stand around and chat, and people were probably thinking, ‘What a moody cow.’ ”
Martine shot to fame playing Tiffany Mitchell in ‘EastEnders’ and thinks she received far more attention than she would appearing in the soap nowadays because things were much more simple.
She told Gay Times: “Back then, there were only four TV channels and millions of people used to watch fewer shows, so people used to really invest in celebrities.
“Now, with social media and reality TV, everything goes really quickly and it’s all a bit more vacuous.
“Back then, if you liked a celebrity, you’d follow everything they did.
“I mean, me and Patsy [Palmer] did the cover of The Face magazine and we bumped into Liam Gallagher and Kate Moss and Kylie all these amazing people – and they were excited to meet us. They were like, ‘Oh my God, we just love going home and finding out what Tiff and Bianca have been up to!’ Me and Patsy couldn’t believe it.”

Lauren Goodger having doubts about jailbird boyfriend

OHMYGOSSIP — Lauren Goodger is “having doubts” about her relationship with jailbird Joey Morrison.
Just weeks after Lauren, 30, and Joey – who is currently behind bars for possession of a firearm, kidnap, blackmail, actual bodily harm and aggravated burglary – had a blazing row, she admitted she is unsure about their future together.
Her spokesperson told MailOnline: “Lauren and Joey haven’t officially broken up, but Lauren is questioning her relationship and having doubts.
“It’s not easy being with someone who is in prison especially with all the scrutiny and speculation.
“She loves Joey deeply but she needs time to work out if this relationship has legs and whether it will all be worth it in the end.”
Joey has been locked up since 2008 but he’s expected to be released sometime next year, and Lauren previously vowed to stick by him so that they can start a family of their own when he’s finally free.
She said recently: “I’d like it to happen. I’ve made no secret of the fact that I want a baby and the sooner the better. I’ve been celibate for a year, so It will be amazing to spend some time with him on our own. Maybe cook some dinner together, spend the night together. Do normal things that we haven’t been able to do.”
However, things have been strained since the pair got into a war of words a few weeks ago.
A source said: “Lauren and Joey had a furious argument and they came close to breaking up. They aren’t in a good place right now. Lauren is madly in love with Joey but their circumstances make it incredibly frustrating.
“What would have been a normal argument for another couple turned into a blazing row. It wasn’t pretty and she made it clear how unhappy she was about what was going on between them.”

Montana Brown and Alex Beattie split?

OHMYGOSSIP — Montana Brown and Alex Beattie have reportedly split.
Just days after leaving the ‘Love Island’ villa, the pair – who came fifth on the show – have called time on their relationship.
A source told The Sun: “Montana is keen to follow her dreams as a TV presenter and has been attending meetings this week to get the wheels in motion.
“She doesn’t like partying and isn’t a big drinker so personal appearances in nightclubs aren’t really her thing.
“Instead she is ambitious and very much a career woman – her relationship with Alex is going to take a back seat.”
News of the split comes not long after Montana, 21, admitted she was not in love with Alex, 22.
She said: “I don’t love Alex yet, no.
“I’m really true to myself. I don’t want to just say it if I don’t mean it.”
Montana’s mother Sarah previously admitted she was surprised by her daughter’s raunchy behaviour with Alex in the house and claimed it wasn’t the “real her.”
She said: “She has a lot of integrity and high standards. Usually Montana is laid back when she meets somebody and will take her time and obviously she hasn’t.
“It has been an interesting version of Montana which isn’t really her. When she likes somebody, she likes them, but wouldn’t normally go head-first in. Everything seems to be fast-tracked. The thing with Alex has been an interesting twist and not necessarily what she would normally be like. I presume being in a pressurised environment means the reality is different. She is normally really private. I think it must be quite choreographed and I know they are directed, so what you see is not always the reality.”

Mollie King signs up for Strictly

OHMYGOSSIP — Mollie King has signed up for ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The Saturdays star will be one of the celebrity contestants on the BBC dance competition this year and show bosses are hoping she will add “sex appeal”.
A source told The Sun: “Mollie is all signed up and will be this year’s ‘Strictly’ babe.
“She’s a talented performer because of all her experience with The Saturdays and her solo career – so she’s someone who is very likely to make it to the final rounds.
“Producers loved the sex appeal and performance skills of Daisy Lowe last year and believe Mollie offers the same.
“She’s also very well connected and has a lot of celebrity friends who will attend filming each week.”
And Mollie, 30, won’t have to worry about the so-called ‘Strictly’ love curse, as she is single following her split from model David Gandy last year.
Mollie dated 37-year-old David on and off for five years – during which time they also romanced other people – but things came to a permanent end last year after a blazing row, believed to be over their future together.
And Mollie opened up about their split in her debut solo single ‘Back to You’.
She said previously: “‘Back To You’ is a very personal song to me.
“A lot of my writing inspiration has come from what I’ve been through over the last couple of years. The song is about a relationship that you know isn’t working but keep going back to them because you love them. It is about a relationship I had that was in the public eye, but I’ve said everything I want to say about it in the lyrics to the song. Writing the song was actually a cathartic experience, as it allowed me to say everything I was feeling at that time about the situation.”

Simon Gregson doesn’t want another Coronation Street wedding

OHMYGOSSIP — Simon Gregson doesn’t want another ‘Coronation Street’ wedding.
The 42-year-old actor’s alter ego Steve McDonald is set to propose to Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) but, having seen his character tie the knot five times in the past – to Vicky Arden, Karen Phillips, Becky Granger, Tracy Barlow and Michelle Connor – the soap stalwart has admitted he hates filming the scenes so he’d rather not have a sixth wife.
Asked if he wants another marital ceremony, he said: “No, they’re not fun to film. There are just too many people involved in a small space and they take days to film – so no, I’d prefer him not to marry again.
“And they’ve always filmed the ones I’ve been involved in during the winter months.”
Simon admitted both he and Jane were stunned to learn Steve was going to propose to Leanne, but after doing one scene where the pair – who have a baby son, Oliver, together – were living together, they understood how it could work, even though there’s nothing romantic between them.
Simon said: “It came completely out of the blue, so Jane and I were wondering where it had come from. But then after doing one scene and having a laugh, we could see the dynamic of where the pair might go.
“But there’s no sexual chemistry between them – it worked once, obviously, but it isn’t really there, which is going to make it tricky.”
However, the actor thinks Leanne could be the one who Steve finally finds happiness with.
He told Heat magazine: “I think it will go quite well, purely because we enjoy working with each other so much.
“I think that shows and comes across in the scenes, so there’s a lot of scope for them in the future.
“It’s about time Steve had some happiness – maybe this could be it.”
