OHMYGOSSIP — Rylan Clark-Neal will co-host ‘This Morning’ with Geri Horner next month.
The 28-year-old presenter has announced that he will be teaming up with the former Spice Girls singer to host the breakfast show – in place of Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford – on August 28 following weeks of “secret meetings” with bosses at ITV.
Alongside a photograph of them doing a screen test, Rylan wrote: “So I’m very excited to say after secret meetings and hiding her in my pocket I’m hosting @thismorning with @GeriHalliwell Mon 28 Aug! Xxx ‬ can’t wait x (sic).”
Rylan’s confirmation comes just hours after Geri – who was known as Ginger Spice when she was in the group – teased that she was presenting from the famous sofa.
She said: “We’re ready to spice up your life this August Bank Holiday with @GeriHalliwell guest presenting on our famous sofa! Stay calm @Rylan! (sic)”
The 44-year-old singer is no doubt hoping the stint will help launch her presenting career as she’s reportedly keen to carve out a name for herself as a host.
A source said recently: “Geri wants to reinvent herself as a telly host and this was an offer she couldn’t turn down. She is keen to take her TV career further, loves ‘This Morning’ and has appeared on it several times. It’s going to be the beginning of a glittering TV career. It’s a massive coup for ‘This Morning’ to sign Geri. She is very popular and has a massive following, especially with stay-at-home mums.”
In the meantime, viewers will get to see Rylan almost every day as not only will he be presenting the show every Friday throughout the summer but he’ll also be hosting ‘Big Brother’s Bit on the Side’ when ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ returns to screens on August 1.

OHMYGOSSIP — Love Island’s Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies were “challenged” by the show bosses to have sex in as many places as possible.
The show champions – who walked away with the £50,000 prize money – certainly weren’t afraid to get down and dirty in front of the cameras while living inside the famous villa for seven weeks and, although they received some mixed reviews from viewers, bosses seemed to love it and even set them the task of getting frisky as many times as possible in different spots.
Speaking to OK! magazine, Amber said: “They jokingly set us a challenge to try and have sex in as many places as possible, but we didn’t want to do that. They were incredible, though. The next morning, if they knew we’d had sex, they would always bring us into the Beach Hut and say: ‘Are you okay? Did you want it to happen? Was it protected?’ ”
And the pair tried to get as adventurous as possible by having sex under an inflatable.
Amber explained: “Under the inflatable turtle in the swimming pool on Camilla’s birthday.”
The 20-year-old beauty was initially unsure whether she wanted to have sex on screen because she was concerned that it would affect her career in the showbiz industry.
She said: “It’s a natural thing. Before, I thought I’d rather not because it could backfire on me in the future, but everyone was doing it.”
Kem added: “It was always going to happen. We wouldn’t have been able to last seven weeks.”
And, although they’ve only been together a few weeks, the pair have already started talking about getting married and having children together as they’re sure they’ll last forever.
Amber said when asked how many kids they want: “Either two or four because I like even numbers. I’d like two boys, but Kem doesn’t want boys because they’ll be really short.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Woodburn has confirmed Paul Danan has signed up to ‘Celebrity Big Brother’.
The former contestant – who shocked the nation with her wild outbursts in January’s series – is thrilled that the 39-year-old actor has agreed to enter the infamous abode tomorrow (01.08.17) night as he’ll provide the nation with loads of entertainment, but is concerned that he’ll end up in numerous rows because he’s “nasty” when he drinks.
Speaking on ‘This Morning’ on Monday (31.07.17), she said: “Paul Danan is going in. I’m almost sure. Now he is wonderful entertainment. He spends his whole life going on reality TV shows making a few bob. God love him!
“But what I love about him is he’s a lovely, soft, little nature but he drinks and drinks and drinks and when he drinks, he’s the nastiest piece of work under the sun. So hugely entertaining but will fight anybody when he’s drunk.”
Bosses are no doubt hoping the former ‘EastEnders’ star will emulate the outrageous attitude he had when he took part on ‘Love Island’ in 2005 – four years after he was kicked off the same show for drunken behaviour – while looking for romance.
His entertaining boozy antics then led to a spin-off show for himself and castmates Calum Best and Fran Cosgrave, called ‘Calum, Fran, and Dangerous Danan’.
Meanwhile, Kim has also heard that medium Derek Acorah has signed up to the programme but has reassured the other celebrities that they need not to worry about any ghostly goings on inside the house because she thinks he makes things up.
She said: “The thing is, Derek Acorah I think is going in, he sees ghosts where there isn’t any. Nellie’s sitting there, Anne is over there, there’s my grandfather.
“The man’s got a vivid imagination. He couldn’t spot a ghost at 50 paces. But bless him … keep making the money but bloody hopeless.”

OHMYGOSSIP — EastEnders’ Mick Carter is set to tell his wife Linda Carter that he has cheated on her.
The pub landlord – who is played by Danny Dyer – may be about to ruin his marriage for good after he decides to confess to the blonde beauty (Kellie Bright) that he shared a passionate smooch with their daughter-in-law Whitney (Shona McGarty) while she was looking after her ailing mother Elaine Peacock (Maria Friedman) abroad.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Viewers will know by then that there is nothing between Mick and Whitney at all, it was just one of those unfortunate things between two people in dark places that never should have happened.
“As Linda lets rip, Mick starts off all humble but soon defends himself, pointing out all the things he’s had to deal with while she’s been away. It’s a proper humdinger. Can they come back from this? It’s impossible to tell.”
The dramatic scenes comes after Whitney returns to Walford to announce that she is now engaged to Woody Woodward (Lee Ryan) – just months after her husband Lee Carter (Danny-Boy Hatchard) fled without a word – and it doesn’t sit well with her family.
Although the brunette barmaid’s news leaves the entire Carter clan gobsmacked, things are set to take a turn for the worse when Whitney asks to host her engagement party inside the family’s pub, the Queen Victoria, as it’s not known whether Mick will allow Woody back into the boozer.

OHMYGOSSIP — Jodie Whittaker’s Doctor Who will not become a mother in the upcoming series.
The ‘Broadchurch’ actress is the first female to ever portray the titular character, but the show’s 55-year-old writer, Steven Moffat – who is about to hand over the reins to Chris Chibnall – has revealed the star will not be giving birth to mini Time Lords in the festive special because he wanted the character to have more “manly qualities”, although he has not been able to depict the masculine traits in this figure.
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper about the future of the sci-fi series, the creative mastermind said: “I knew The Doctor would regenerate into a woman while writing the cast series, so I thought, ‘I shall bring out all of his manly qualities.’
“But he has not got any. He hasn’t a single masculine quality that I could find.
“He is an alien that has taken the form of a human male. He will not notice the change to a woman – and he is not about to get pregnant.”
The 35-year-old actress has already started filming for her “regeneration scene”, and has impressed the cast with her acting ability.
Speaking about the West Yorkshire-born star, Steven said: “Jodie has filmed the regeneration scene. She was great.”
And the news Jodie’s character will not fall pregnant when she appears in the programme comes shortly after Michelle Gomez, who plays Missy in the sci-fi hit, let slip the newcomer is set to enjoy an on-screen relationship with another female.
Speaking previously, she said: “Now we have a got a female Doctor so there is going to be girl on girl.”
But it won’t be the first time that a lesbian love story has featured in the BBC series because the doctor’s assistant Bill Potts – played by Pearl Mackie – shared a kiss with a gay alien in the last series.
And when asked whether a gay Doctor would fit in with the drama, she said: “It might work. Obviously it might be awful.”
And Pearl agreed: “It could work.”

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Grantchester’ may return for a fourth series – but with a different actor as the lead.
The third instalment of the popular detective drama came to an end two months ago and, although it received rave reviews, writer James Runcie has admitted the next batch of episodes probably won’t hit television screens for a little while as James Norton – who plays Anglican vicar Sidney Chambers in the show – is “hot property” and producers may now need to look into the possibility of finding someone to replace him.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror newspaper, he said: “James Norton is in such big demand now that I’ve no idea if he’ll be available to film a new series.
“But ‘Death in Paradise’ has replaced the leading man, and that’s still going strong, so if the worst comes to the worst…”
And it’s not just the writer who can see the show excelling without the 32-year-old actor as Robson Green – who plays Detective Inspector Geordie Keating in the programme – is confident the viewers will still tune in if it’s given a huge cast shake up one day.
He said previously: “The series can carry on most definitely. Whether I’m in it or James is in it, or whoever, is another question. It is a secure entity now and it’s up there with the best of what ITV’s got to offer at the moment.”
‘Death in Paradise’ first hit television screens in 2011 with Ben Miller as the lead and, although it was a huge success, he decided to quit the role two years later.
But, rather than pull the plug on the show altogether, bosses decided to replace him with Kris Marshall, who played Humphrey Goodman, for three series until 2013.
Kris announced earlier this year that he was turning his back on the show in order to spend more time with his family and it was confirmed a few weeks later that Ardal O’Hanlon will take over the reins as the lead character in series seven.

OHMYGOSSIP — Kem Cetinay wants to release his own hair care range.
The ‘Love Island’ winner – who left the reality TV show with £20,000 after sharing the prize fund with his girlfriend Amber Davies – was planning to open his own salon before he went into the villa in June, but has now had a sudden change of heart and has decided to make a brand based on his name and fame because it won’t take up so much time.
Speaking on ‘Good Morning Britain’ on Monday (31.07.17), he said: “Just before I went on the show, I was actually in the process of opening a shop but I’ve put it on the side for now. I’m going to go into more hair range – something I can put out for all to see- rather than a shop because I think it will take up too much time at the moment.”
And it’s not just his hair care range that will be taking over his schedule for the time being, as the 21-year-old is planning to release a song with his friend Chris Hughes.
He teased: “The music career is definitely going to go off. We’ve been talking to Stormzy.”
And his girlfriend Amber – who he met and fell in love with in the villa – will support him in whatever he decides to do, as her own career has also taken off since she left the shack.
She said: “We’re still very much in the honeymoon stage of our relationship.”
And, although there are rumours that they’re planning to tie the knot, Amber and Kem are adamant that they won’t be getting hitched any time soon as they’re taking things slowly.
Kem said: “We haven’t actually spoken about it. But for us we’re both so young so we want to do this relationship like we would’ve done on the outside so we’re just going to take it slow. Nothing is going to happen yet.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Camilla Thurlow didn’t want to go into the ‘Love Island’ villa as Prince Harry’s ex-girlfriend.
The 28-year-old beauty hit the headlines in 2014 when she was romantically linked to the flame-haired hunk but, despite her history in the limelight, she wanted people to see her as an individual and get to know her for who she is, rather than who she has dated in the past.
Speaking on ‘Lorraine’ on Monday (31.07.17), she said: “I only went in there as Camilla, as myself, and that is what I wanted to show.
“You can’t help but be yourself in there. You’re in there for seven weeks and my main thing was making decisions that I could live with so I made sure I made the right choices.”
Some viewers criticised Camilla towards the end of the series as she appeared to be very reserved in the beginning and then ended up sleep with her boyfriend Jamie Jewitt just days before the final – sparking speculation she was playing a game.
But she explained: “You do get more comfortable in there. It’s really interesting because I can see why people see that as a change but I’m 28 and the reason I’m reserved on that side of things is because I’ve made mistakes in the past and that has made me cautious about moving forward with people. I do things when I feel ready but at the same time I am a person and I respect my own wants and that was how I wanted to be in there.”
Since leaving the famous villa last week, Camilla and Jamie have spent the majority of their time together and the blonde star even introduced him to her family in Scotland.
She said: “It’s been a bit of a whirlwind because Jamie came up to Scotland and met my family. We had our rounders in the park so that was fun. It was nice getting back to normality. She was actually a big fan, I never expected her to watch it but she loved it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Miranda Hart is keen to “explore married life” for her sitcom alter ego.
The 44-year-old star brought her popular show ‘Miranda’ to an end two years ago when her titular character tied the knot with Gary Preston (Tom Ellis) and she admitted she would consider a comeback because she thinks it’s “lovely” that people are still interested.
She said: “It’s lovely that people always ask me about a comeback because it seems people want more and I’ve said I like the idea of exploring what the sitcom could be like seeing Miranda and Gary dealing with married life. So we shall see.
“Tom is of course busy being the devil [in ‘Lucifer’].”
However, fans may have to wait some time for a revival as Miranda is also tied up with a number of other projects once her stint in West End show ‘Annie’ comes to an end in January.
She said: “I am not enjoying the thought of finishing [the show]. But I have a children’s book coming out in October called ‘The Girl With the Lost Smile’ and then I have a couple of television projects but nothing I can reveal quite yet.”
While Miranda enjoys relaxing in front of the television, she admits sometimes her own career can “ruin” the viewing experience because she is so critical.
She explained in an interview with the Metro newspaper: “Being in comedy can sometimes ruin it because you watch with a critical eye, or you know people in the show, which can distract and you don’t end up laughing.
“But I have loved Tituss Burgess in ‘The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt’ recently. And ‘Modern Family’ I have always loved. Oh, and ‘Veep’.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sylvain Longchambon has reportedly signed up to the revamped ‘Dancing on Ice’.
The 37-year-old professional – who has taken part in the competition twice before in 2011 and 2013 – has agreed to join a number of other skilled skaters for the forthcoming series as they attempt to help celebrity hopefuls stay upright in the rink while twisting and turning to music in front of a panel of tough-talking judges.
But the hunk is set to get a special role as bosses are hoping he’ll step into Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean’s coaching shoes now that they’ve got a seat on the panel.
An insider explained to The Sun Online: “‘Dancing on Ice’ is going to look quite different when it comes back. Torvill and Dean are going to be on the judging panel so there will need to be a new approach to teaching the celebs to skate.
“Sylvain has been on the show for years and has proved popular with both the fans and the production team so they’ve asked him to come back.
“Things are still up in the air and a lot of new skaters are being considered and approached, so the line-up of pros could look totally different. But Sylvain will definitely be at least one familiar face when the show comes back early next year. There is also talk of him taking a coaching role with Torvill and Dean moving to the judging panel.”
Sylvain first joined the skating show in 2011 when he was partnered up with ‘Hollyoaks’ star Jennifer Metcalfe and, although they didn’t win, they fell in love and began dating.
He was then called back the following year to dance with Heidi Range, but a ligament injury forced to him to pull out and he didn’t return until 2013 when he was paired with ‘Coronation Street’ actress Samia Ghadie, who is now his wife and mother of his child.
He then took part in the all-star special in 2014 alongside Jorgie Porter.
Meanwhile, bosses are still trying to finalise the celebrity line-up but it’s believed Katie Price, Brooke Vincent and footballer’s wife Alex Gerrard are in the running.

OHMYGOSSIP — Caroline Flack and Mike Thalassitis have added fuel to speculation they are dating.
The 24-year-old hunk took to his Instagram to share a picture of himself cosying up to the ‘Love Island’ presenter, and dropped a huge hint there could be romantic interest between the pair, whose faces were nestling cosily against one another.
On the Stories section of social media site, he shared the picture and added the caption: “Who really won Love Island (sic)”
The footballer – who earned the moniker Muggy Mike after he attempted to steal Olivia Attwood from Chris Hughes on the ITV2 show – added a cheeky tongue-out emoji to the photo.
Caroline, 37 – who previously dated One Direction’s Harry Styles – and Mike met up at the programme’s reunion show.
This comes after the TV presenter shared a snap of herself and Mike on her Instagram last week, which had fans suggesting they could be an item.
She wrote the caption: “Muggy but Huggy (sic)”
One fan said: “the only islander she posted a photo with (sic)”
Another wrote: “flack you should date Muggymike (sic)”
One said: “I love it in the back ground it says crack on (sic)”
Earlier this month, Mike admitted he would back himself to win the heart of fellow ‘Love Island’ star Jess Shears, who found love with Dom Lever.
He said: “With the whole Jess thing – yeah who knows what would have happened. Dom came out. You saw the papers. Nothing happened.
“If things worked out differently – yeah they would have worked out differently. Yeah, nothing happened.”

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘The Jump’ is set to be revamped as a summer show.
The Channel 4 sporting competition – which saw celebrities take on extreme winter sports such as skiing and snowboarding – was axed last week amidst complaints that the programme was too dangerous after 34 celebrities have suffered injuries over the course of its four series run.
However, show bosses are now looking to switch out the death defying stunts for safer summer sports such as water polo and athletics, which they believe will make for “fewer injuries”.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “There is a lot of interest in bringing ‘The Jump’ back as a summer show. Instead of the ski jump, celebs could go head to head in athletics or hockey. Water sports would also be a good option for them.
“The idea is that as summer sports are less perilous, there would be fewer injuries. And contestants would be in fewer clothes which would make it sexier.”
However, a spokesperson for Channel 4 told the publication that nothing was finalised as of yet.
They said: “We are always actively considering a range of programmes but a summer version of ‘The Jump’ has not been commissioned.”
Meanwhile, the show was said to be cancelled by Channel 4 as the terrifying injuries sustained on the show have begun to “stack up”
A source said: “It’s felt like ‘The Jump’ has been on borrowed time for a while now as the injuries mount up. The fact Channel 4 have decided against bringing it back next year suggests it’s not a loved property. If it was getting big enough numbers, it would be locked into the schedule.”
Bosses had been toying with the idea of shelving the show last year after they received a series of complaints when gymnast Beth Tweddle broke two vertebrae in her neck during training.
And she’s not the only one who had to undergo surgery after taking a tumble on the slopes as former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ dancer Ola Jordan twisted her knee while competing on the programme and doesn’t think her leg will ever be the same again.
Rebecca Adlington dislocated her elbow, ‘Holby City’ actress Tina Hobley broke her shoulder in numerous places and still can’t return to work due to the injury, and ‘Made in Chelsea’ hunk Mark-Francis Vandelli snapped his ankle while working on the show.

OHMYGOSSIP — Aliona Vilani has given birth.
The former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ star announced late last year that she and husband Vincent Kavanagh were expecting their first child together and Aliona, 33, has now revealed that they have welcomed a little girl called Bella.
It is not clear exactly when Bella was born but Aliona told HELLO! magazine: “I feel so lucky…
“We genuinely feel so blessed and happy. We got lucky. She’s very chilled. Vincent is too – as am I when I’m not working.”
Aliona admitted she and Vincent have not told many people about the birth but former ‘Strictly’ contestant Anita Dobson – who introduced them – and her husband Brian May knew, along with her dancing partner, Jay McGuiness.
She said: “They are such close friends of ours, we have sent pictures. No one else really knows yet, apart from Jay. A couple of weeks after Bella was born Jay messaged me asking if the ‘little one’ had arrived, so we sent him a couple of pictures.”
Meanwhile, Aliona, 33 – who left the BBC One series in December 2015 – previously claimed the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ workload didn’t give her much time to have a child.
She said: “‘Strictly’ is a really full-on show, so basically you have to take five months out of your life. You don’t see your friends, you don’t see your family, you don’t have any days off. Let’s say I want to start a family and have a baby – I don’t want to take five months out of my life and not be with my child, especially in the beginning. So I think I really had to step away.”
And Aliona only wishes she could have stayed on the show and raised a family too.
She added: “When I decided I knew what I was doing, but I kind of have no other choice. I really want to start a family with my husband and I can’t just take five months out of my life and not be with my family, without any days off.
“I don’t mind if I would have a day or two days off – maybe that would change my mind – but with ‘Strictly’ you can’t have that. Every year the cast is always amazing, and every year there’s new dancers, and some of the previous dancers would leave the show, so it’s good. The show is evolving, the cast is evolving, so it’s amazing. I think it’s good, it’s healthy.”
