Charlie Brooks teases EastEnders return

OHMYGOSSIP — Charlie Brooks has teased a return to ‘EastEnders’.
The 36-year-old actress turned her back on the long-running soap in 2014 in order to explore theatre, but she has warned that the residents of Walford should watch their backs over the next year or so as there’s a possibility that her conniving alter-ego Janine Butcher – a role she played on and off for 15 years – could make a comeback.
Speaking to Inside Soap magazine, she said: “John Yorke [the new executive producer] is a genius at what he does. I was there during his earlier reign and Janine was his baby, really. He was so invested in her storylines.
“I do wonder what the writers could do with her. She’s done so much already, so what could she do next? The reason I left ‘EastEnders’ was to do more theatre and I have. It’s not part of my plans to return, but never say never!”
John was forced to take control of the reigns once again last month after Sean O’Connor – who took over from Dominic Treadwell-Collins in 2016 – dramatically quit following a drastic dip in ratings and a number of complaints from members of the cast.
Acclaimed producer John – who previously worked on the show from 1999 until 2002 – has been brought on board to transform the fortunes of the BBC soap, and he is apparently planning to revamp the cast and introduce some more dramatic storylines.
A source said recently: “John was responsible for some of the soap’s best storylines.”
John is planning to screen the death of a lead character, a family abuse plot and even a shooting in a bid to resurrect the viewing figures, which have slumped to 4.5 million.
What’s more, it’s been reported that the programme’s cast list of 90-odd regulars could be markedly reduced, while casting the likes of ex-Blue singer Lee Ryan is set to stop.

Mary Berry to judge on new cooking show

OHMYGOSSIP — Mary Berry will judge a new cooking show on the BBC next year.
The 82-year-old culinary queen shocked the nation last year when she announced she was stepping down from her judging role on the ‘Great British Bake Off’ after the rights to the format were snatched by Channel 4, but it won’t be long before she’s back on screens as she’s agreed to front forthcoming eight-part series ‘Britain’s Best Cook’.
A spokesperson for the BBC told the Radio Times magazine: “At a time when British cooking has never been more varied, inspiring or of such high quality, this series will test the real-life expertise of truly great home cooks and will celebrate the food people make for their loved ones every single day. Returning to her first love, with more than 75 cookery books to her name, Mary Berry’s authority in the home kitchen is beyond question and she is the natural choice for the lead judge.”
Bosses are aiming to secure another judge to join Mary, while Claudia Winkleman has jumped on board to host the show, and the pair can’t wait to get stuck in to filming.
Mary said: “I am never more at home than when I have my judging hat on. This series is going to encourage proper home cooking which I have always championed and I cannot wait to start. Claudia, for me, is the icing on the cake.”
Claudia – who presents ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ – added: “I am over the moon to be part of this show. Am slightly obsessed with Mary so will follow her around with my own moussaka for most of the filming. Apologies in advance.”
The show will “test the real-life expertise of truly great home cooks” as amateur chefs are pitted against each other while they show the nation the different dishes they make their loved ones in the kitchen every single day.
Meanwhile, the future of the ‘Great British Bake Off’, which used to be screened on the BBC, is currently up in the air as Channel 4 bosses have decided to replace Mary with Prue Leith following the cooking queen’s decision to quit out of loyalty to the BBC.

Emmerdale’s Charity Dingle to have lesbian affair with Megan Macey?

OHMYGOSSIP — Emmerdale’s Emma Atkins has hinted that her bolshie alter-ego Charity Dingle may start a lesbian affair with her arch-enemy Megan Macey.
The pair have been at loggerheads over Frank Clayton (Michael Praed) – who is dating the brunette beauty (Gaynor Faye), but has been sleeping with the feisty blonde (Emma) on the sly – in recent weeks, but things are set to take a dramatic turn as bosses have decided to take their love triangle in a different direction.
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, Emma said: “We’ve been given some dialogue today where we have said: ‘Where is this going?’ I’m not afraid of it going in that direction. I do believe you can fall in love with a person no matter what gender.
“It wouldn’t bother me. She should connect with anyone, male or female. Us coming together in some shape of form is interesting because there’s so much we don’t like about one another. And yet we have come together because we’re practically family.”
And Gaynor is equally as excited about the prospect of her character dating a lady.
She added: “I think the thing is, we are actors, anything – great storylines, great relationships great drama… anything could happen.”
Meanwhile, that’s not the only love triangle forming in the Dales at the moment, as Priya Sharma (Fiona Wade) lands herself in hot water when she leans in to kiss her best friend Leyla Harding’s (Roxy Shahidi) boyfriend Pete Barton (Anthony Quinlan) again.
But this time the pair have spying eyes on them as Sarah Sugden (Sophia Moore) spots them – although it’s not clear whether the youngster will expose their big secret.
A source explained to Inside Soap magazine: “He’s tried to detach himself from Priya and concentrate on being the best fiance he can for Leyla. The trouble is, there’s so much chemistry between them that it’s causing problems. The last thing Pete wants is for someone else to blurt out the truth about his cheating antics to Leyla.”

Love Island winners want three weddings

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Love Island’ winners Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies want three weddings.
The champions of the ITV2 reality series were over the moon when they scooped the £50,000 prize pot last week and, rather than squander their cash on pointless things, they’ve decided to use the money to help give them the best nuptials possible.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, Amber, 20, said: “Kem wants to be flown in on a helicopter. Our wedding would be all about him, it wouldn’t be about me at all!
“This is what he thinks is reality. Kem knows what he’s wearing and I haven’t even thought about a dress!”
The Welsh beauty’s boyfriend, who is of Turkish and Cypriot descent, also admitted the couple want three weddings in “Essex, Wales and Cyprus”.
The 21-year-old hunk said: “We’ll spread it over a week. We’ll have three weddings – one in Essex, one in Wales and one in Cyprus. And maybe even one in another country!”
Amber is planning to make the most out of their wedding and insists it will be “huge”.
She said: “We’ll have a huge wedding. We’ll milk it massively.”
The couple also revealed that some of their ‘Love Island’ contestants will be invited to the wedding and Kem’s close friend and fellow islander Chris Hughes will be one of the groomsmen.
Bosses are hoping to persuade the couple to get hitched on national television and Caroline Flack, who hosts the dating show, is also wanted to present the wedding, which is expected to take place in the Spanish villa where the couple met in June.
An insider told the Daily Star newspaper: “It could be the biggest telly wedding since Wills and Kate.”
Since winning the show, they’ve now been offered a string of attractive telly jobs from top broadcasters, who hope they’ll also become a money-spinning presenting duo.

Sarah Harding to show ‘real side’ on Celebrity Big Brother

OHMYGOSSIP — Sarah Harding wants to show the “real human” side to her on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’.
The former Girls Aloud singer is set to enter the famous abode later this week and is hoping her stint on the show will put an end to her image as a party girl, as she insists that was just a “caricature” she played up to when she was in the group.
She said: “I would hope that people would get to see the real human being behind the mask. I still get portrayed as that girl from the band who was always hyped up to be something I wasn’t. In Girls Aloud, I played a character. I was the lairy one, the rock and roller. I played up to that because it was a caricature.
“We did a lot of photoshoots and a lot of it was quite pouty. I have one of those faces that when I’m posing, I look moody, so people probably think I’m a hard-faced cow.”
However, the 35-year-old beauty admitted she can still be the “life and soul” of the party when she’s in the right mood.
She said: “At the end of the day, I love to entertain. I’m a performer.
“Of course I love being around people but I prefer it when it’s on my terms.
“I like to duck in and out and when I’m in then I might be the life and soul. But it’s nice to just go home again, be with my dogs, put the fire on and watch the movie channel.”
And Sarah’s housemates are in for a treat if she decides to take on cooking duty.
She told OK! magazine: “I love cooking, I find it therapeutic. I did it on ‘MasterChef’ – I called it ‘Manic Chef’. I can throw things together and I have a penchant for knowing what goes with what. I have my favourites but I’m very experimental.”

Sir Bruce Forsyth is ‘frail’

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Bruce Forsyth is “frail” and there are concerns he may never perform again.
The 89-year-old TV legend hasn’t been seen in public for the past 19 months and his close friend Jimmy Tarbuck admitted he is in a “very serious” state after an aneurysm, amid fears he might not take to a stage ever again.
Jimmy, 77, said: “He’s okay but he’s a bit frail. He’s had an aneurysm. It’s very serious.”
Despite the former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ co-host’s ailments, he is said to be in “good form”.
According to the Daily Mirror newspaper, the comedian told an audience in Blackpool at the weekend: “I saw him a week ago and he is on good form.”
In March, Jimmy revealed Bruce – who has been married to Wilnelia Merced since 1983 – was in good spirits at home shortly after spending five nights in hospital with a severe chest infection.
He said at the time: “It was just good to see him.
“Wilnelia made some sandwiches and a nice pot of tea and we just reminisced and blathered and laughed. He’s getting there.
“He had a fall and a fall doesn’t do you any good at any age, but he’s at an age where it took a bit out of him.
“For 50 years, Bruce has been 35 years of age to everyone – when he’s actually 89.
“It’s the lights and the adrenaline. It all happens when you walk on there.”
The former ‘Generation Game’ presenter underwent keyhole surgery in 2015 after suffering two life-threatening aneurysms.
Bruce admitted in 2014 he quit ‘Strictly’ after 10 years because it was affecting his health.
He said: “Live television is very strenuous, especially when some shows are an hour and 40 minutes.
“I have to do all the announcements and introduce the judges. And I’m running up and down the stars 40 to 50 times per show.’
“And I was getting the flu. I always got the flu in studios.”

Stacey Solomon opens up about her battle with anxiety

OHMYGOSSIP — Stacey Solomon suffers with anxiety “a lot” more than she did when she was younger.
The 27-year-old television presenter – who is known for competing on ‘The X Factor’ in 2009 – has admitted she feels there is a lot more pressure thrust upon her to look good, especially from social media, which she didn’t “notice” when she was a teenager.
She told Star magazine: “I feel that [pressure] more now I’m in my 20s than i did when I was a teenager.
“I get a lot of anxiety. I feel like I didn’t notice all this stuff as a teenager. I feel privileged to have grown up without social media and all these stigmas.
“There’s so much pressure on both women and men to look a certain way. Why are so many people having plastic surgery, going on crash diets and over-exercising? It’s insanity.”
But the ‘Loose Women’ panellist – who is currently dating Joe Swash – tries not to take any criticism personally and to “ride it out” in a bid to overcome her uneasiness.
Speaking about her coping mechanism, the blonde-haired beauty said: “You have to remember to ride it out and not take it out on yourself physically. I have to accept that it’s happening and come through the other side of it.”
And Stacey believes she has a “moral obligation” to positively influence the younger generation, especially her children, as she advises them not to work out just yet as they are too young to develop a fully toned torso.
Stacey, who has sons Zachary, nine, and Leighton, five, said: “I believe you have a moral obligation to quash these stereotypes and let people know it’s not OK. It’s up to us as individuals and people with an influence on social media to not take notice of those comments and call people out.
“My son, Zach, asked me why he doesn’t have muscles and he’s nine. I had to literally go into anatomy and biology and explain what will happen to his body as he gets older and how unhealthy it would be for him to start exercising at his age. ”

Emma Willis: There’s no Big Brother and Love Island rivalry

OHMYGOSSIP — Emma Willis doesn’t think there’s a rivalry between ‘Big Brother’ and ‘Love Island’.
The 41-year-old beauty currently hosts the Channel 5 reality show in which contestants are forced to live together in a house filled with cameras, and has said she doesn’t believe there’s any competition with ITV2’s ‘Love Island’ – which has aired at around the same time over recent weeks – as the programmes are “completely different”.
Speaking about the two shows – which both finished airing their latest series recently – Emma said: “I don’t think there is any rivalry between the two shows, they are completely different. They can both exist alongside each other.
“‘Love Island’ is about couples looking for romance and ‘Big Brother’ is about a group of people being taken out of their comfort zones, from different walks of life, and seeing how they cope living with each other.”
And Emma is desperate to see her show continue for many years to come, and has said she’d love for ‘Big Brother’ – which turned 17 this year – to make it to its 20th anniversary.
She said: “I hope it’s got legs. I’ve been obsessed with it since it began in 2000, but everything has a shelf life. Hopefully it will go for a little while longer. It would be nice for it to at least make 20 years.”
The show host is gearing up for the celebrity edition of the show which starts on Tuesday (01.08.17), and hopes there won’t be any divas in the line up.
She told The Sun newspaper: “In the normal Big Brother the contestants are fighting for a lot of money, but in ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ I like it to be fun as all the housemates are being paid to be in there.
“The housemates who threaten to walk because the hot water is turned off are a bit annoying, as it’s not like anything seriously bad will happen to them. They just need to enjoy it and put on a good show.”

Woody Harrelson praises Alden Ehrenreich’s Han Solo

OHMYGOSSIP — Woody Harrelson has praised Alden Ehrenreich for his performance as Han Solo and has teased he will bring out the character’s more humorous side.
The 56-year-old actor has been cast as galactic criminal Beckett who is believed to be a mentor to young Han on his journey to becoming a space smuggler, and Harrelson claims the film will be one of the “funnier” movies in the ‘Star Wars’ franchise.
Speaking to ‘Entertainment Tonight’, Harrelson said: “He’s a great actor and a great guy, with a great sense of humour. I think a lot of humour comes through what he’s doing. I think it could be one of the funnier ‘Star Wars’ movies.”
The Han Solo spin-off movie is set to follow a younger version of the titular character, with Ehrenreich taking over the iconic part from Harrison Ford, and his sidekick Chewbacca as they first encounter Lando Calrissian (Donald Glover) and become intergalactic criminals for hire.
The Han Solo movie was rocked when directing duo Phil Lord and Christopher Miller left Disney’s project due to “creative differences” with screenwriter Lawrence Kasdan, who previously penned ‘Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back’.
The pair signed up to the project in July 2015 and began shooting in February, but they have now stepped away from the movie as their “vision” for the film differed from what studio bosses were looking for and were replaced by Academy Award winning director Ron Howard.
Harrelson insists Howard has been fantastic for the project, saying: “Fortunately, the force is still very much with us. It’s great that Ron came along when he did.”
Howard, 63, also previously revealed he had been approached to direct 1999 ‘Star Wars’ prequel ‘The Phantom Menace’.
The ‘Star Wars Anthology’ film is slated to be released in May 2018.

Hans Zimmer reportedly scoring Blade Runner 2049

OHMYGOSSIP — Hans Zimmer is reportedly scoring ‘Blade Runner 2049’.
The 59-year-old ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ composer has taken over creating the incidental music for the upcoming sequel to Sir Ridley Scott’s 1982 cult sci-fi movie, Den of Geek reports.
Denis Villeneuve, who has directed the follow-up film, was working alongside long-time collaborator Johann Johannsson on the score but it’s reported he has moved onto other projects and Zimmer has taken over.
Zimmer’s most recent score was for Christopher Nolan’s World War Two epic ‘Dunkirk’ and Johannsson has worked on some memorable movie soundtracks including ‘Arrival’ and ‘Sicario’.
Recently, Villeneuve spilled that he wanted the cinematography and music to both be inspired by the original movie’s DNA and that’s what he’s aiming for in post-production.
Villeneuve, 49, said: “There are some components in the original movie that made it stand out for me. Seeing the adverts when I first saw the movie was like an extension of my reality and it was like Ridley Scott had just taken a time-traveling machine into the future. He had the guts to get real companies in the film. I tried to do the same which is to take some of the companies and like they are still alive. It’s a homage to a world that doesn’t exist anymore.”
‘Blade Runner 2049’ sees Harrison Ford reprise his role as Rick Deckard and Ryan Gosling and Jared Leto also star in the sequel.
The film is slated for release in October this year.

Weta Digital start work on visual effects on Avatar 2

OHMYGOSSIP — Weta Digital has started working on the visual effects for ‘Avatar 2’.
James Cameron’s hotly anticipated follow-ups to the 2009 fantasy film have been repeatedly delayed but now Variety revealed the digital company has started work on the visual effects for the upcoming sequel.
Many speculate this could mean much of the live-action and motion-capture shooting has been completed and now Weta will create the digital side of the movies.
Cameron said: “What Joe Letteri and Weta Digital bring to these stories is impossible to quantify. Since we made ‘Avatar’, Weta continued to prove themselves as doing the best CG animation, the most human, the most alive, the most photo-realistic effects in the world.”
Sigourney Weaver – who starred in the 2009 original – recently revealed preparations have already started to make the much-anticipated follow-up movie.
The 67-year-old sci-fi legend shared: “We’re starting! We’re starting training, and we’re starting – hmm, I probably can’t say anything. We will be actually shooting it by the fall.”
The original ‘Avatar’ movie – which also starred Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana – grossed $2.7 billion at the global box office, and received widespread praise from movie critics.
Meanwhile, Cameron previously claimed he is not worried about the delays to the release of the next ‘Avatar’ movie.
The director intends to make four sequels in total, but there have been significant delays to his original plans, meaning fans have been kept waiting for years for the next instalment in the franchise.
In April, Cameron took to Facebook to announce that “concurrent production on four sequels” has begun and the first movie will be released in 2020, followed by the other three in 20121, 2024 and 2025.
He wrote: “Great to be working with the best team in the business! Avatar takes flight as we begin concurrent production on four sequels. The journey continues December 18, 2020, December 17, 2021, December 20, 2024 and December 19, 2025!”

Stockard Channing: Grease was dismissed because it was a teen tale

OHMYGOSSIP — Stockard Channing says ‘Grease’ was “dismissed” when it was first released because it was a teenage love story.
The now 73-year-old actress was cast as Rizzo, a member of The Pink Ladies high school clique, in the 1978 musical movie which starred John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John as the romantic leads Danny and Sandy and was based on Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey’s musical of the same name.
The film is one of the most beloved cinematic stories of all-time and continues to be toured as a stage show across the world, whilst the songs from the soundtrack, such as ‘Summer Nights’ and ‘You’re the One That I Want’, remain as popular as ever.
But in the wake of ‘Grease’ coming out, Channing says it was derided for its storyline but revered for its box office performance but she was very happy with her performance because she managed to successfully portray a teenager at the age of 34.
Speaking to The Daily Telegraph newspaper, she said: “It was dismissed and envied at the same time, which is fatal combination. Envied because it made so much money and dismissed because it was about teenagers. I was way too old, but pleased that I managed to pull it off. It’s true that my Shakespearean background didn’t come into play, but it all came good in the end.”
Channing is also famous for playing First Lady Abbey Bartlet on the NBC television series ‘The West Wing’, a role she landed at the age of 55.
Despite many actresses complaining about ageism in Hollywood, Channing insists she has never felt as though work was running out because of her advancing years.
She said: “The age thing was never a factor for me. Well, it probably is now because I’m so f***ing ancient.
“But I have always been a character actress, so it never applied. I was always a bit odd and I still am. I don’t fit a mould.”
Next year marks the 40th anniversary of the film and Newton-John, who has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer, hinted at a reunion to celebrate the anniversary.
However, Channing thinks it should be left alone after some of the original cast have passed away including her on-screen love interest Kenickie played by Jeff Conaway.
She said: “Reunion? Some of us are dead. We have lost three, I think. God love them. Maybe we should just leave that alone.”

Doug Liman felt insecure filming The Bourne Identity

OHMYGOSSIP — Doug Liman felt “insecure” while making ‘The Bourne Identity’.
The 52-year-old filmmaker directed the first instalment of the Matt Damon franchise back in 2002 but as a big James Bond fan he was worried he was making a “poor man’s spy movie” and didn’t think it would be as successful as Tom Cruise’s ‘Mission: Impossible’.
Speaking to Den of Geek, Liman said: “I felt so insecure while I was making ‘The Bourne Identity’ that I was making a poor man’s spy movie. There was someone of the set who had the ‘Mission: Impossible’ ring tone on his phone, and every time his phone rang it drove me nuts because I was afraid my movie was never going to be as good as ‘Mission: Impossible’.
“It was never going to be as good as James Bond. So it was really surreal afterwards to go and see the next James Bond film, and be like, ‘Oh, I did make a James Bond film, because now the James Bond film looks like ‘The Bourne Identity’.”
Although the ‘Bourne’ franchise spawned four subsequent films, Liman didn’t act as the director but instead as executive producer.
But the filmmaker also admitted he would love to be given a chance to helm a 007 movie in the future.
He said: “I always wanted to make a James Bond movie my whole life. I didn’t grow up like Quentin Tarantino, watching esoteric art films at the video store. I’d go to the multiplex and see big, mainstream movies, and I’d go ‘I want to make one of those one day’. I always wanted to make a James Bond film, and they only seemed to hire British directors and I’d made ‘Swingers’ – they were never going to hire me for a James Bond film off ‘Swingers’.
“I would still love to direct a James Bond film, but I’m not sure if I have or haven’t.”

Bryce Dallas Howard ‘to make directing debut’

OHMYGOSSIP — Bryce Dallas Howard looks set to make her directing debut in ‘Sorta Like a Rock Star’.
The 36-year-old actress will follow in the footsteps of her famous filmmaking father Ron Howard – who helmed ‘Apollo 13’, ‘A Beautiful Mind’ and ‘Frost/Nixon’ among others – by taking the reins on the adaptation of Matthew Quick’s novel.
Sources have told Variety the motion picture is yet to find a distributor but if it goes ahead Howard will be in the driving seat.
The book tells the story of high school student Amber Appleton who lives in a school bus her mother drives along with their dog Thrice B.
It will be Howard’s first full-length movie after fronting a few short films, as well as directing Lily Collins in an M-80 music video.
Howard’s short movie ‘When You Find Me’ made the Academy Awards shortlist for the Canon: Project Imagin8ion initiative, which helps directors get a break, but it just missed out on being nominated for an Oscar.
She will reprise her role as Claire Dearing in ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ and recently admitted she cried “ugly tears” when filming wrapped on the sequel.
Taking to Twitter to share a picture of herself hugging her co-star Chris Pratt, she wrote: “Day #60 and that’s a wrap!
Honestly, I ugly cried. Bye, Hawaii! #jurassicworld #jurassicworld2 #JurassicWorldFallenKingdom (sic)”
The movie’s director J.A. Bayona also announced on social media filming had finished.
He tweeted: “This is a wrap for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom! What a journey! Thank you to everyone that made it possible. #JurassicWorldFallenKingdom (sic)”

Gwendoline Christie explored Phasma backstory before Star Wars: The Last Jedi

OHMYGOSSIP — Gwendoline Christie had “long conversations” about her character’s backstory prior to filming ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’.
The 38-year-old actress – who is mostly known for playing Brienne of Tarth in HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones’ – will take on the role of Captain Phasma in the upcoming eighth instalment of the sci-fi franchise, and has said she was “utterly delighted” by director Rian Johnson’s willingness to listen to her ideas when it came to her character’s backstory.
She said: “Rian and I did have long conversations about this character and who she was, and I was utterly delighted in how willing he was to listen to my ideas and really thrilled to exchange them with him and hear his. He really is a master writer and director, and I think we’ve seen that in the films that he’s made but I think that we truly will see that in the depths to which he goes in ‘The Last Jedi’.”
And Gwendoline is also excited for people to learn more about her character through the release of ‘The Last Jedi’ companion novel written by Delilah Dawson, as well as a separate comic book about the Chrome Trooper.
She added to IGN.com: “It fascinates me to be involved in something that also resonates in other incarnations of books or of merchandise, whatever it is, because people are connecting with the material that’s outside just literally watching it. They’re connecting with it in a way that’s tactile, that’s in their lives, that stimulates different parts of their brain, different part of their soul.”
‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ is due to hit cinema screens in December, and will see Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley, and John Boyega reprise their roles, as well as the late Carrie Fisher – who passed away in December 2016 – making her final outing as Princess Leia.

Dawn Ward pulls out of Celebrity Big Brother

OHMYGOSSIP — Dawn Ward has pulled out of ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ just one day before the show launches.
The ‘Real Housewives of Cheshire’ star was one of the famous faces set to enter the house when the show returns to screens on Tuesday (01.08.17) but she has reportedly decided at the last minute not to take part, throwing things into chaos as the show’s producers desperately search for someone to take her place.
A source told The Sun Online: “Dawn has decided not to take part in the show at the very last minute. She may have done reality TV in the past but she got cold feet about doing CBB. The shows bosses are desperately trying to find someone to fill her boots – which will be a hard task considering she’s such a character.”
And now Dawn isn’t participating, bosses will be even more disappointed as ‘So Macho’ singer Sinitta – who was previously linked to a possible appearance on the show – revealed she wouldn’t go into the house if Dawn was there.
She said: “I know Dawn is going into the house but thank God I am not. I did ask for 24-hour security as I have been hit once in my life and I did not want to be hit again. I just wish Dawn all the best. I won’t be watching as I will be doing other things.”
Meanwhile, Sarah Harding, Shaun Williamson and Brandi Glanville are just some of the names set to enter the house during the launch.
Made In Chelsea’s Sam Thompson and Jemma Lucy as well as Megan McKenna’s ex Jordan Davies, ‘Hollyoaks’ star Paul Danna, ‘Absolutely Fabulous’ actress Helen Lederer, TV psychic Derek Acorah and ‘X Factor’ alumni Amelia Lily are also expected to appear on the show.
