Naomi Watts wants comedy role

OHMYGOSSIP — Naomi Watts wants to star in a comedy.
The ‘Book of Henry’ actress is used to appearing in gritty dramas and tales of darkness, but she’s on the lookout for a more “quirky” role where she could have a lot of fun on set.
She said: “I want more laughs in my career. I’ve endured plenty of darkness and sadness and soul-searching. I’ve been lucky enough to work with the likes of David O. Russell and a movie I did with Noah Baumbach a few years ago. But I’m not the go-to when it comes to comedy.
“I actually turned down a few during the beginning of my career because they didn’t feel right for where I wanted to be. Maybe it’s because it’s a certain kind of comedy I’m after – a quirky reality, something offbeat where there’s a soul underneath. I want to go on set and laugh all day.”
Naomi can currently be seen on the small screen in Netflix drama ‘Gypsy’, in which she plays boundary-crossing psychiatrist Jean, and she enjoyed getting to explore the depths of her character.
She told HELLO! magazine: “Jean is very restless, very curious outside of the world she’s created for herself.
“She wants to break out of her inner claustrophobia and, because of the nature of her work, delves a little too deeply into the lives of her patients, and in doing that, she’s delving into the darker, more chaotic parts of her that have always been there but remained dormant.
“Finally, it’s like she’s woken up and desires that fire. It’s a really human story. It’s about demons and exposing vulnerabilities and unknown, maybe, forgotten strengths.
“It’s so completely human and I’ve always loved exploring humanity in characters and she is a fascinating portrayal of fantasy, being the person you want to be, you desire to be but will never actually experience.
“We shy away, but she’s actually living it. She’s exploring this side to her which we rarely see women do. Men yes, but women, not really.”

Brandi Glanville brands Chad Johnson a ‘chauvinistic pig’

OHMYGOSSIP — Brandi Glanville has branded her ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ co-star Chad Johnson a “chauvinistic pig”.
The ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star has not been impressed with the former ‘Bachelorette’ contestant during their time on the Channel 5 show together and she slammed him during an interview in the Diary Room.
She said: “Clearly Chad is an idiot, and he’s a male chauvinistic pig. And he’s highly entertaining because of it. But he’s also highly offensive.
“He’s just a tool. He checks his abs in the mirror the whole time!”
And Brandi later repeated her remarks to Chad’s face.
She said: “I did say some things about you. I said you were highly offensive, in an entertaining way. But I said I wasn’t sure if it was an act.”
Meanwhile, ‘Made In Chelsea’ star Sam Thompson, 25, has revealed his crush on Brandi, 44.
He said: “Brandi’s a f**king legend. Brandi is the girl.
“She’s sexy. I’ve got a massive crush on her. I’m not going to lie.
“I know it can never go anywhere. I know I’m ‘just like a son’ or whatever. But a son can dream.”

Emma Willis bans kids from watching Big Brother

OHMYGOSSIP — Emma Willis won’t let her kids watch ‘Big Brother’ until they are 16.
The 41-year-old presenter – who has Isabelle, eight, Ace, six, and Trixie, 14 months, with husband Matt Willis – insists the language and “graphic” content on the show are too much, so they won’t get to see her at work until they are much older.
Asked if they watch the show, she told heat magazine: “Oh my God, no. [They can’t watch until they are] at least 16. There’s such bad language in it and sometimes it can get a bit graphic.”
The regular series came to an end last week, and the celebrity version kicked off at the beginning of the week and Emma can’t wait to see how the famous housemates adapt to their new surroundings.
She said: “You’re always guaranteed a lot of fun with the celebrity version because everyone is being paid to be there and it’s not like they’re all desperately grappling to win that pot of gold at the end of it.
“Celebrities are almost like light relief compared to what goes down in the summer series, which can get quite serious.”
Emma would love to see Eamonn Holmes and his wife Ruth Langsford enter the famous abode, but knows that’s unlikely to ever happen because they are fans of the show so understand the reality of living in confined circumstances.
She said: “They are so amazing. They’re such lovely people and hilarious together.
“I love the fact Eamonn thinks he wears the trousers but we all know it’s really Ruth.
“And, you know, he’s happy with that. Eamonn is one of my favourite people ever. I absolutely adore them both… They watch [the show] every night. I think that’s probably why Eamonn knows better than to go in there.”

David Walliams jokes about sex with Simon Cowell

OHMYGOSSIP — David Walliams joked that he got his ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ job by sleeping with Simon Cowell.
The 45-year-old comedian quipped that Simon, 57 – who has son Eric with partner Lauren Silverman – only hired him for the ITV show after they had sex.
When a fan messaged him on Twitter to ask: “Hi, I know you won’t answer this but how did you become a judge on BGT?”, David jokingly replied: “I slept with Simon Cowell.”
However, the fan fired back with their own quip, writing: “I’m pretty sure Simon wouldn’t of let you (sic).”
David – who has son Alfred with ex-wife Lara Stone – has a good working relationship with Simon, who recently quipped that working with David is like being around an overly excited pooch.
He said: “David’s a giant. It’s like having a mountain behind you. A couple of times he has actually fallen on me. I’m thinking: ‘I’m going to break my neck here one day.’ But I can’t say anything because if I say: ‘Don’t do it,’ it gets worse. So I have to keep my mouth shut.
“Someone asked me the other day how I’d sum David up. You know when you had an auntie who had a big dog and, if you went there for tea, it would hump your leg? The first couple of times it’s like, ‘Can you get off my leg, please?’ After the third time you don’t even notice it. That’s sort of how I view my relationship with David. He is verging on the insane. I do believe that.”
But their fellow judge Alesha Dixon admitted she sometimes feels sorry for Simon because he is constantly being “manhandled” by David.
She said: “I am actually starting to feel a little bit sorry for Simon. He literally spends most of the day trying not to be manhandled by David. David’s attempting to drag him out of his chair to dance and Simon doesn’t want to. One day that chair is going to go flying.
“David just won’t stop. He’s like a dog with a bone. Simon has found a way to have a sense of humour about it and, at the same time, it’s very funny to watch.”

Danny Dyer signs new EastEnders contract

OHMYGOSSIP — Danny Dyer has signed a new contract with ‘EastEnders’.
Although Danny recently told fans he was considering leaving the show to focus on other projects, his spokesperson has revealed that Danny has signed a new deal to continue playing pub landlord Mick Carter.
The spokesperson told MailOnline: “The deal is agreed – he is staying at ‘EastEnders’.”
The confirmation comes after Danny was recently caught on camera telling fans he was unsure about his future in the show.
In footage obtained by The Sun, he said: “This takes up my life this does. I ain’t signed yet. I’m meant to sign in October but I might elbow it.”
When asked by fans when he was releasing another movie, Danny replied: “F***ing tell me about it.”
Earlier this year, Danny took time off from the BBC soap as he was “exhausted” from working non-stop since joining the show in 2013.
An insider said at the time: “Danny knows he has to rest-up and recuperate. He has been ground down by the workload on ‘EastEnders’ and then partying on top of it.
“This trip is going to do him the world of good. He can remain anonymous there and he can properly rest. He’s hoping to come back refreshed and back into work.”
And, his co-stars reportedly threw him a welcome home party when he returned to work.
A source said: “They’re keen to show everyone is behind him 100 per cent after his tough few months. They’re planning a round of applause when he steps back behind the bar for filming for the first time.
“The cast know how important Danny is to the show’s success and don’t want it to be awkward. Danny will be welcomed back with open arms.”

Gemma Collins feels like a ‘trapped prisoner’

OHMYGOSSIP — Gemma Collins feels like a “trapped prisoner” when ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ films abroad.
The 36-year-old reality star has battled with fluctuating weight for years and she admits her size 20 frame causes her “anxiety” so she hates the pressure of having to sit out and sunbathe or shoot scenes by the pool when the programme goes on location.
She told Closer magazine: “I do get anxiety over my weight.
“When we film abroad it’s a nightmare for me. You never see me sitting around the pool and I do miss out on a lot of fun.
“I request a room with a balcony so I can sunbathe in private. If I go to the pool I have an awful feeling I’m being stared at.
“I feel like a trapped prisoner and I don’t feel free to enjoy myself.”
Gemma is currently single and feels there is a “huge part” of her life “missing” because she’s desperate to settle down and have kids, but thinks her weight is holding her back.
She explained: “In five years’ time I ideally want to be walking down a lovely beach in Barbados, being a perfect size 14, with my gorgeous husband and three kids.
“I’m at an age now where that’s all I want. There’s a huge part of my life missing – if I fell in love with a partner and had a baby, that would be the dream for me.
“But it’s so hard – if someone asks me on a date, I’ll go – but when it doesn’t work out I always get so deflated and think, ‘Why do I put myself through this?’
“If I lost weight, I’d be more at ease with myself. I o think, ‘Have I not got a boyfriend because I’m overweight?’
“I think if I was slimmer, I’d go on more dates and be more secure in myself.”

Alex Kurtzman unsure of The Dark Universe’s future

OHMYGOSSIP — Alex Kurtzman is unsure what the future is for Universal Pictures’ ‘The Dark Universe’.
The filmmaker helmed the Tom Cruise reboot of ‘The Mummy’, which was set to be the star of the universe based around iconic horror characters created by the film studio, however the film received poor reviews and Kurtzman hasn’t decided what to do next.
Speaking to IGN, he said: “You know the truth is, I don’t know. I really don’t know. I haven’t really decided. Is the honest answer.
“I have to stay interested in it. I have to feel like my passion is there for it. I think in the case of ‘Star Trek’ if your passion isn’t there you shouldn’t be doing it.”
Universal made their name horror TV show ‘Creature Features’ in the 1950s and enlisted Kurtzman and Chris Morgan to create a series of linked films that will bring their iconic characters back to life on the big screen.
Johnny Depp was believed to be playing ‘The Invisible Man’ in a separate project and Angelina Jolie was wanted to direct and star in a ‘Bride Of Frankenstein’ film.
Originally Javier Bardem – who was cast to star as Frankenstein – was approached to star as Dr. Jekyll opposite Cruise in ‘The Mummy’, but passed on it and Russell Crowe was given the role.
Previously, Kurtzman said he wants to get Michael Fassbender in one of the films and confirmed what movies he hopes would be included in ‘The Dark Universe’.
He said: “I’d love to bring Michael Fassbender in, I’d love to bring Jennifer Lawrence in, I’d love to see Charlize Theron in there, Angelina Jolie.
“We know we’re going to do ‘Frankenstein’, ‘Bride of Frankenstein’, ‘Dracula’, ‘Creature from the Black Lagoon’, ‘Phantom of the Opera’, ‘Hunchback of Notre Dame’ and ‘Invisible Man’. There are characters within those films that can grow and expand and maybe even spin off.”

Richard Dreyfuss angry he hasn’t got Lifetime Achievement Award

OHMYGOSSIP — Richard Dreyfuss isn’t happy he hasn’t been given a Lifetime Achievement Award.
The 69-year-old actor doesn’t mind that fellow Hollywood stars such as Al Pacino, Robert De Niro and Jack Nicholson have been handed the prestigious accolade by the American Film Institute, but thinks his career
He moaned: “I am bothered that they’ve been given Lifetime Achievement Awards by the American Film Institute and I haven’t.”
Dreyfuss won an Oscar for his performance in ‘The Goodbye Girl’ in 1978, but would have preferred to win the award later in his career.
He told The Daily Telegraph newspaper: “If I could rewind my life now, I’d delay winning the Oscar until I was in my fifties.”
The ‘Mr. Holland’s Opus’ star was a prominent actor during the 70s when he starred in a number of successful movies including ‘American Graffiti’, ‘Close Encounters of the Third Kind’ and the shark horror movie ‘Jaws’.
Dreyfuss recalls a time when he was kicked out of 20th Century Fox for shouting at the director and casting director when he was just 16.
He said: “The director and casting director showed up 45 minutes late. When I finally saw them approaching, I headed in the opposite direction to get a glass of water.
“I got back and one of the guys asked why I was keeping them waiting. I blew. ‘How dare you’ I said. ‘I’ve been waiting for 45 f**king minutes’.
“The casting director told me to calm down before asking me to go through my resume with the director.
“‘No’, I said. ‘ You know what I’ve already done’. And that’s when they threw me out of 20th Century Fox.”
Throughout his career, Dreyfuss has had many turbulent relationships with co-stars including ‘Jaws’ star Robert Shaw and Bill Murray who he starred with in ‘What About Bob?’.
Despite this, the screen star believes he is an “amiable” guy and knew he would make it in the movie business.
He said: “I was rather an amiable guy. And I knew as a 100 per cent certainty that I would make it as a movie star.”

Jorge Gutierrez is on board for Lego Movie spin-off

OHMYGOSSIP — Jorge Gutierrez is reportedly on board for the new ‘Lego Movie’ spin-off ‘The Billion Brick Race’.
The ‘Book of Life’ filmmaker is said to be taking on directing duties and is to develop the spin-off movie from the Warner Bros. franchise after Jason Segal and ‘Iron Man 3’ co-writer Drew Pearce backed down from sharing the job.
The film has been in development since the idea was first pitched to the studio in 2015, who preferred to wait and see what it became before adding a release date to it and the movie is now slated for release in February 2019.
Mike Mitchell, who helmed the original movie, is overseeing the sequel and replaced Rob Schrab on the project.
Producers are Dan Lin, Phil Lord, Chris Miller and Roy Lee, with Chris McKay and Jill Wilfert of LEGO executive producing it.
Lord and Miller were recently dropped by Disney and Lucasfilm for the upcoming spin-off Han Solo movie through creative differences and were replaced by Ron Howard, but it appears they are back on board for the next instalment in the LEGO movie universe.
Since the success of ‘The LEGO Movie’, which grossed nearly $470 million worldwide in 2014 and starred Chris Pratt as the leading character Emmet, the studios have been spurred to develop ‘The LEGO Batman Movie’, which opened in February this year.
The film, although not as successful as the original, grossed just over $370 million worldwide.
Warner Bros. also are releasing a movie based around the hit toy range and TV series ‘LEGO Ninjango’ expected to hit cinemas in October.

Dominic Cooper has great song in Mamma Mia 2

OHMYGOSSIP — Dominic Cooper has teased he has a very “good” song in ‘Mamma Mia 2: Here We Go Again!’.
The ‘Preacher’ star played the role of Sky in the hit 2008 movie – based on the ABBA-inspired musical of the same name – alongside Meryl Streep, 67, Amanda Seyfried, 31, Colin Firth, 56, and Pierce Brosnan, 64.
Cooper had previously confirmed he will be returning for the upcoming sequel and has now spilled he’ll be singing a classic ABBA track that will delight fans.
Speaking on ‘Good Morning Britain’, he said: “I’m in, definitely. There are loads of ABBA songs left. ‘Waterloo’ is around, and the one I am doing is good too – I’ve got a good one!”
Universal Studios have been working on the sequel to the original box office hit for some time, but now it looks like things are finally slotting into place as they’ve given it a working title and have assembled the cast.
‘The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel’ scribe Ol Parker will be penning and directing the film, while Playtone Pictures, which produced the first installment, has jumped back on board for the forthcoming film.
The iconic musical focused on a bride-to-be Sophie Sheridan (Seyfried) trying to find her real father so that he can walk her down the aisle at her wedding to Sky (Cooper).
But she’s in for a shock when she realises that there are three potential men that could be her biological dad.
It’s not yet known how bosses plan to push the story on but it’s thought they may decide to follow the angle of how Sophie’s mother Donna Sheridan (Streep) met the three men; Sam Carmichael (Brosnan), Harry Bright (Firth) and Bill Anderson (Stellan Skarsgard) in the years before the original story takes place.
The sequel will feature more ABBA songs that weren’t included in the 2008 movie alongside with “reprised favorites”, according to the film’s official Twitter account.

Sophie Turner hails the influence of her social media following

OHMYGOSSIP — Sophie Turner thinks she owes much of her career success to her social media following.
The flame-haired beauty – who starred in ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ in 2016 – has claimed that her 5.4 million followers on Instagram often help her to secure coveted on-screen roles.
She confessed: “A lot of what I have achieved is about timing and luck, but it is also, and I hate to say it, about a big social media following.”
The 21-year-old actress even admitted that she has been handed acting jobs over more talented performers simply because of her online following.
Sophie told Porter magazine: “I auditioned for a project and it was between me and another girl who is a far better actress than I am, far better, but I had the followers, so I got the job.”
Meanwhile, Sophie recently admitted it was “tricky” to grow up in the spotlight.
The actress shot to fame when she was cast as Sansa Stark in ‘Game of Thrones’ when she was just 12 years old and she found it hard to battle with the stresses of growing up in the public eye.
Sophie said: “That’s definitely been tricky to deal with – you’re growing up, and hormones and puberty and everything’s kind of hitting you all at once.”
However, the actress will always be grateful for having been cast on the show, saying it taught her more than she ever would have learnt at drama school.
She explained: “I’m so thankful to have gotten this job so early on. It was the best drama class I could have ever asked for. A real gift.”

Denis Villeneuve: Blade Runner 2049 is my biggest challenge

OHMYGOSSIP — Denis Villeneuve has admitted ‘Blade Runner 2049’ is the biggest “artistic challenge” of his career so far.
The 49-year-old filmmaker has helmed the sequel to the movie classic ‘Blade Runner’ and although he always wanted to be the man to make the movie he felt a lot of pressure because he wanted to “honour” the Sir Ridley Scott original.
The Harrison Ford led 1982 movie – based on Philip K. Dick’s 1968 novel ‘Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?’ – is considered to be one of the greatest sci-fi films ever made and deals with heavyweight topics such as what it means to be alive.
Speaking to Den of Geek, Villeneuve said: “I have to find a way to make that universe mine. I have to find a way to not feel like a vandal going in a church, making graffiti on the walls. It’s by far the biggest artistic challenge I have ever done. To take someone else’s universe and to try digest and make it my own is a strange process … One of the things you have to do when you want to honour something is incorporate and go large. You don’t want to just do the high school play. You don’t want to do a remake.
“When it first came out we were doing this, a lot of people just thought we were going to re-do it again. That feels like it would be dishonouring something that is wonderful. It was looking for ways to explore the world further and make it bigger.”
Whilst details of the plot have largely remained under wraps, it is due to take place decades after the original which is why Ford, 75, will be seen as a much older version of his police operative character, android hunter Rick Deckard.
The impressive cast includes Ryan Gosling – who plays main protagonist, LAPD Officer K – Jared Leto, Lennie James, Robin Wright, Ana de Armas, Sylvia Hoeks, Carla Juri, Mackenzie Davis, Barkhad Abdi, David Dastmalchian, Hiam Abbass and Dave Bautista.
‘Blade Runner 2049’ will be released in October 2017.

Jeremy Irvine joins Mamma Mia 2

OHMYGOSSIP — Jeremy Irvine has signed up for ‘Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again!’.
The 27-year-old actor and Alexa Davies will join newcomer Lily James on the cast of the sequel – a follow up to the 2008 adaptation of the stage musical based on ABBA songs – and several of the returning stars, including Meryl Streep, Amanda Seyfried and Colin Firth.
According to Deadline, Irvine will play the past version of Pierce Brosnan’s character, Sam Carmichael, and Davies will step into the shoes of a young Rosie Mulligan, who was portrayed by Julie Walters in the first film.
It is not yet known if Walters will reprise her role in the upcoming motion picture, which will see James play a younger version of Streep’s alter-ego Donna Sheridan.
The movie is to go back and forth in time to see how previous relationships have changed, but exact story details are not yet known.
‘The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel’ scribe Ol Parker will be penning and directing the new film, which is set to be released on July 20, 2018.
The first ‘Mamma Mia’ movie focused on a bride-to-be Sophie (Seyfried) trying to find her real dad so he can walk her down the aisle on her big day.
But she received a shock after discovering there were three potential men, Sam (Brosnan), Harry Bright (Firth) and Bill Anderson (Stellan Skarsgard), who could be her biological dad.
Brosnan has made no secret of the fact he is reprising his role in the sequel, confirming the news on his Instagram account.
He wrote: “Do wanna dance, or do you wanna dance? Mama Mia here we go again … (sic).”

Craig Revel Horwood replacing Miranda Hart in Annie

OHMYGOSSIP — Craig Revel Horwood is to replace Miranda Hart as Miss Hanningan in ‘Annie’ on London’s West End.
The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ judge will take the reins from the ‘Miranda’ star this September and is thrilled to be portraying the character, which he played in 2015 in Nikolai Foster’s production.
Miranda’s last appearance at the Piccadilly Theatre will be on September 11 and Craig will pick up from the 18 until November 26 with the exception of Saturdays.
The 52-year-old choreographer joked that he will likely end up bringing a taste of the “sassy” and “evil” orphanage owner to the BBC One ballroom and latin show when it returns to screens later this year, but that his fellow judges – Bruno Tonioli, Shirley Ballas and Darcey Bussell – will have something to say about it.
He said: “I am so pleased to be returning to the West End especially to a role I had such a brilliant time performing on tour.
“Miss Hanningan is evil, sassy and fab-u-lous.
“It will be a real challenge for me not to take her man-hungry, wicked ways to the ‘Strictly’ judging panel each Saturday night – though I’m sure my fellow judges will keep me in check! I can’t wait to get started.”
Craig signing up to ‘Annie’ comes after he admitted the money he gets from the three-month stint on ‘Strictly’ isn’t as good as people may expect but he does it because it’s “fun.”
He explained: “Holding up paddles from one to 10 is not a career – it’s a light-hearted entertainment TV show. If I didn’t have a creative outlet, I’d be suicidal. ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ is Saturday night fun. The pay’s not amazing. The majority of the money comes from directing and royalties. Someone once did an expose of what the judges earned, and it was below the poverty line.”

Charlotte Crosby to lose weight

OHMYGOSSIP — Charlotte Crosby is trying to lose weight.
The former ‘Geordie Shore’ star has decided to take part in a week-long weight loss programme that she knows will work because she’s spent the last two months gallivanting around the globe munching on calorific grub and now can’t fit in her size 8 jeans.
Taking to her Snapchat account, the blonde beauty said: “I want to go on a little journey this week and I feel like I want to take you with me.
“I know it works for me, it’s whether you want to do it with us. I have recently just been on holiday and not going to lie the last two months I have been eating crap.
“I am not fitting in my clothes. I am really struggling to fit in a pair of size eight and I know that sounds pathetic but I am not feeling comfortable like I did.”
Charlotte – who once dropped four dress sizes – then encouraged her fans to use her DVDs and follow her diet plan in a bid to drop some weight within seven days.
She explained: “I am going to start on Monday.
“I am going to weigh myself. Why don’t we see how much we can lose? If you don’t have the DVD’s you can order them online and get them for Monday.”
Meanwhile, the 27-year-old star is no doubt trying to shed some weight in time for filming for her new show called ‘The Crosby Show’, where she will be followed around by the cameras as they document her life with boyfriend Stephen Bear.
A source said recently: “Charlotte and Stephen Bear make TV gold. She absolutely loved every moment of presenting ‘Just Tattoo Of Us’ with Bear, it was a laugh a minute and fans lapped it up, they are a brilliant team and absolute naturals together so it was a win-win all round. Even so, to have an opportunity falling into her lap like this, is incredible.”

Claire King learns ex had an affair after receiving a letter

OHMYGOSSIP — Claire King found out her ex-husband was having an affair after she received a letter from his new lover’s husband.
The 54-year-old actress has admitted she gave her former partner Peter Amory a number of chances to make their 10-year marriage work, but it wasn’t until her former ‘Emmerdale’ co-star Samantha Giles’ ex-beau, Nick Moore, penned a letter informing her the 52-year-old actor was cheating on her she decided to take action.
Speaking about her break-up on ‘Loose Women’ on Friday (04.08.17), Claire – who portrayed Kim Tate in ‘Emmerdale’ for 10 years – said: “She wants that second chance, and I’ve been in that situation with my marriage. And I gave my husband Pete a second chance.
“Two strikes you’re out. People remain within a relationship that really they shouldn’t sometimes and they could have got out. I think you have to move on and get on with your life.
“I found out about it through a letter from the girls husband and my agent rang me saying ‘There are bits and pieces in the paper’.
“It wasn’t anything to do with her. ”
But the busty blonde believes the break-up was inevitable as she felt the pair had “grown apart” and because Peter was still working on the longstanding soap with Samantha whilst she was away filming ‘Bad Girls’ .
She explained: “I was working, we had the distance between us. It got past the seven year itch, and it was coming to that fork in the road. So nobody was really to blame. It was just we had grown apart.
And Claire believes if Peter hadn’t strayed from their relationship, then she “could have” been unfaithful.
She said: “Quite honestly it could have been me. ”
Although Claire could see the split was on the cards, she found it “hard” to get over the break-up because everything had “imploded” on her at once.
She said: “It was hard because I was in my 40s, and I was at the crossroads career wise, and everything seemed to implode because it all happened at once, and it was scary.”
Claire has claimed she is on good terms with Peter and Samantha, who are no longer together.
She said: “I met Sam at a funeral of a close friend of ours, and she said ‘Look I’m really sorry’. After all these years its water under the bridge.
“But we are friends.”
