Helen Lederer is ‘aghast’ at Sarah Harding’s behaviour

OHMYGOSSIP — Helen Lederer is “aghast” at Sarah Harding’s antics inside the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house.
The 62-year-old actress was shocked to discover that the former Girls Aloud star and Chad Johnson had enjoyed some heavy petting when they were on the show with her.
Helen said: “I’m amazed and aghast at how rapidly relationships are made.”
But Helen wished Sarah ad Chad well in the longer term.
Speaking to The Sun Online, she explained: “I’m shocked. I’m absolutely shocked.
“Good luck to them if that’s what works for them. I don’t begrudge them a second of their lust.”
Despite this, Helen has cast doubt on their burgeoning relationship, suggesting it isn’t anything more than lust.
The actress reflected: “From Chad’s point of view, he’s just done the one programme and hasn’t travelled out of America, and bless him, is quite baffled, and eats a lot of eggs and protein…
“I think he is clearly enamoured of this beautiful women who has chosen him.”
She suggested, too, that the duo might be forming a relationship in a bid to help their respective careers.
Helen said: “Sarah perhaps knows more than Chad in terms of the media.
“Now they’ve found each other and perhaps they can help each other through their experiences in an entrepreneurial, beneficial way – and I suppose with love.”
However, their relationship has not been well received by some of the other housemates, including actor Paul Danan.
He recently said: “Sarah getting laid in the toilets is not a good look.”

“Of course, we will be paying tribute to Sir Bruce at our launch show and this will include a heartfelt performance from our Strictly professional dancers.
“We all want to celebrate him and all that he loved about the show. Sir Bruce was, and will always be, a huge part of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.”
Recent reports suggested a tribute might include “a Fred Astaire tap dancing spectacular” as well as a montage of his best bits co-presenting alongside Tess Daly.
An insider recently said: “Sir Bruce was greatly missed when he stepped down as the main co-host and only popped back to front the Children In Need and Christmas specials.
“There are lots of things in the mix and we will be liaising with Sir Bruce’s family as we want this to be our way of saying thank you to our favourite.”
Bruce is survived by his wife Lady Wilnelia Forsyth and his six children – daughters Debbie, Julie and Laura from his first marriage with Penny Calvert, Charlotte and Louisa with his second spouse Anthea Redfern and a son with Wilnelia – as well as nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Alexandra Burke, Jonnie Peacock and Debbie McGee were the final three contestants confirmed for this year’s ‘Strictly’ on Monday (21.08.17).

Sarah Harding’s lover devastated

OHMYGOSSIP — Sarah Harding’s boyfriend is “heartbroken” after she got intimate with ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ housemate Chad Johnson.
The Girls Aloud singer had been quietly dating Aaron Lacey for two months before she entered the famous abode and he had even moved in with her, but she has grown increasingly close to the ‘Bachelor’ star and was caught on camera performing a sex act on him earlier this week, much to the devastation of the 33-year-old plasterer.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “He’s heartbroken. He fell for her.
“They were inseparable. He supposed her going on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ and watched nightly.
“He’s devastated she went behind his back.”
Aaron is now said to have moved out of Sarah’s house and is staying with his parents.
Sarah’s antics with Chad have been slammed by some of her former housemates.
Helen Lederer – who was evicted alongside Sandi Bogle on Tuesday (22.08.17) – admitted she was “aghast” at how quickly their romance has progressed.
She told The Sun Online: “I’m amazed and aghast at how rapidly relationships are made.
“I’m shocked.
And Paul Danan, who left the house last week, criticised the 35-year-old beauty for her conduct.
He recently said: “Sarah getting laid in the toilets is not a good look.”

Whilst Emma posted on her own social media account: “So excited to share our news and begin our new adventure, we can’t wait to meet you little one … we are having a baby!!! @gazgshore (sic)”
The pair had split up earlier this year but got back together in June despite she previously claiming he had cheated on her.
A source said at the time: “Gaz has been working hard at getting back in Emma’s good books. Their split was tough on both of them. It was a big mess and with Gaz being stuck inside the Geordie Shore house – things only got worse.
“Since he’s come out the pair have been in touch and they’ve been working on getting back on track. It’s early days for them both but their mates think they could get back together in the future. Kathryn Bigelow praises John Boyega’s Detroit performance

OHMYGOSSIP — Kathryn Bigelow has praised John Boyega on the “complexity” in his character in ‘Detroit’.
The 65-year-old Oscar-winning filmmaker helmed the new movie – which is based around the murders of three African American men during the Detroit race riots in the 1960s – and she said she “loved the cast”, including the ‘Star Wars’ actor who she praised on his “vulnerability”.
Speaking to Time Out Magazine, Bigelow said: “I was so lucky, I love this cast.
“There are volumes that can be read on John’s face, even when it’s absolutely still. That character is caught between two worlds – he’s wearing the uniform and yet he’s also identifying with the victims.
“John was able to find the complexity, the vulnerability and the incredulity of finding himself trapped in that position.”
The film stars Boyega, Hannah Murray, Algee Smith, Will Poulter, Jack Reynor and Anthony Mackie.
Many of the characters featured in the film are based on real people, including security guard Melvin Dismukes (Boyega) and Juli Hysell (Murray) – who was injured in the riot – and Bigelow heard first-hand accounts and she said it was “incredibly important”.
She said: “Hearing the first-hand accounts from Melvin Dismukes, Juli Hysell and Cleveland Larry Reed was incredibly important.
“They gave me little details – Juli described how they were standing facing the wall, and she put her hand over the other girl’s to comfort her – at this point they had no idea if they would survive.
“It’s unimaginable. When Melvin was retelling his experience, it was difficult for him, but he wanted the story told right.”
The incident, where the three men were murdered, took place in the Algiers Motel and the hard-hitting and brutal interrogation scene took “three weeks” to film.
Bigelow said: “It was intense – I shot chronologically and we probably spent three weeks in that corridor.
“We were all very happy to get out of there! But what developed was a camaraderie I’ve never experienced before.”

David Harbour’s ‘different’ Hellboy

OHMYGOSSIP — David Harbour’s portrayal of ‘Hellboy’ will be different to Ron Perlman.
The 42-year-old ‘Stranger Things’ actor was cast as the titular role in the upcoming reboot of the popular comic book and replaced Perlman – who starred in the Guillermo del Toro movies – and has claimed his version of the character won’t be a carbon copy of Perlman’s.
Speaking on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Harbour said: “It’s unique and odd. There are things that I’m gonna do that are different.
“Hellboy is the same character from the comics and from what Ron did, there are certain things that are the same thing, but I do think that – I don’t know, there’s a different approach because I highlight different things, I think, than Ron does.
“Ron sort of embraces this machismo in himself and in Hellboy and I really like it, and it’s super fun and it’s a super fun performance, but I think Hellboy has a certain psycho dynamic where occasionally he has to prove that he’s the lion, has to roar, and I think he struggles with his own masculinity.
“But I don’t think he needs that as much as maybe those other movies. I have a bit of a different take on his capability or his sickness.
“I sort of think that for me he’s a little less skilled at constructing that persona.”
The plot in the new movie follows Hellboy as he battles with a medieval evil wizard who is hell-bent on destroying humankind.
Milla Jovovich, 41, will star as the Blood Queen and Ian McShane, 74, as Professor Broom – the scientist who adopts the titular demon child – in the Neil Marshall-helmed movie.
The film is expected to start shooting this September.
Aron Coleite is working on the latest draft of a script by Andrew Cosby, Christopher Golden and ‘Hellboy’ creator Mike Mignola.
Originally titled as ‘Hellboy: Rise of the Blood Queen’, it was previously reported that the reboot will simply go by the name of ‘Hellboy’.
Unlike the original franchise by del Toro – which was PG13 – this film will be R-rated, following in the footsteps of other successful R-rated movies including ‘Deadpool’ and ‘Logan’.

Numan Acar to star in Aladdin remake

OHMYGOSSIP — Numan Acar has been cast in the Disney live-action remake of ‘Aladdin’.
The ‘Homeland’ actor is reportedly set to play Hakim – who is head of the guards and right hand man to the feature’s villain Jafar – in the upcoming Guy Ritchie directed movie, according to Deadline.
Acar joins Will Smith as The Genie, Naomi Scott as Princess Jasmine and Mena Massoud as the titular street urchin and Marwan Kenzari as Jafar.
Former ‘Saturday Night Live’ star Nasim Pedrad has been chosen to play new character Mara, a handmaiden and friend to Jasmine.
Smith, Scott and Massoud were all announced for ‘Aladdin’ at Disney’s D23 Expo in California last month.
‘Charlie and The Chocolate Factory’ writer John August has penned the script for the musical movie, which is believed to be non-linear in its structure, something that is a hallmark of Ritchie’s early work on movies like cult British crime romps ‘Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels’ and ‘Snatch’.
The story is based on the Middle Eastern folk tale of Aladdin who is granted three wishes by a genie who is captive inside a magic lamp.
The 1992 original animated feature – which saw the late great Robin Williams voice The Genie – won two Oscars, Best Music and Original Song for ‘A Whole New World’.
‘Aladdin’ has also been turned into a hit stage show playing at theatres all over the world.
The movie is just one of the many films that Disney are rebooting, as new versions of ‘Dumbo’, ‘Mulan’, ‘Peter Pan’, ‘The Lion King’, ‘Pocahontas’ and ‘The Little Mermaid’ are also in the works.
Meanwhile, the recent live-action remake of 1991’s ‘Beauty and the Beast’ – starring Emma Watson as Belle and Dan Stevens as The Beast – has been a huge hit, banking more than $1 billion at the box office worldwide, currently making it the 21st highest-grossing film of all-time.
Angelina Jolie starred as the titular villain in the ‘Sleeping Beauty’ inspired ‘Maleficent’, Johnny Depp played The Mad Hatter in ‘Alice in Wonderland’ and Lily James took the title role in ‘Cinderella’.

Ed Skrein joins Hellboy reboot

OHMYGOSSIP — Ed Skrein is on board to star in the ‘Hellboy’ reboot.
The 34-year-old British actor is joining the Neil Marshall reboot playing Major Ben Daimo, a consultant to the titular character at the Bureau for Paranormal Research, the Hollywood Reporter say.
The casting of the ‘Deadpool’ star could face criticism from fans of the comic books, as the character is portrayed as Japanese-American.
The plot in the new movie follows Hellboy as he battles with a medieval evil wizard who is hell-bent on destroying humankind.
David Harbour has already been cast as Hellboy and will be joined by Milla Jovovich, 41, as the Blood Queen and Ian McShane, 74, as Professor Broom, the scientist who adopts the titular demon child, in the Marshall-helmed movie.
The part of Professor Broom was originally brought to life by the late John Hurt in the Ron Perlman starring-movies ‘Hellboy’ and ‘Hellboy 2: The Golden Army’.
The film is expected to start shooting this September.
The upcoming project has been in the pipeline for some time, but the reboot is set to happen without original director Guillermo del Toro, who couldn’t agree with the studio’s vision for the movie.
Instead, Marshall – who worked on the likes of ‘The Descent’ and ‘Game of Thrones’ – is taking charge of the film.

Channing Tatum tries to tell his daughter why he is away for months

OHMYGOSSIP — Channing Tatum wants to make good films so he can explain to his daughter why he is away for “months at a time”.
The 37-year-old actor – who has four-year-old Everly with wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum – frequently has to go away for long periods, so he wants to have a quality finished piece of work to explain his long absences.
Speaking at the UK premiere of his latest movie ‘Logan Lucky’ in London’s Leicester Square on Monday (22.08.17), he said: “The script is just good. It’s a good movie and doing good things is kind of paramount.
“You know you want to be able to explain to your daughter and be like ‘That’s why dad was gone for months at a time’.”
‘Logan Lucky’ was written by Rebecca Blunt and follows two brothers, Jimmy (Tatum) and Clyde (Adam Driver), who attempt to pull off a heist during a NASCAR race in North Carolina.
Driver, who shot to fame in ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’, said at the premiere that the script makes comments on “socioeconomic status”.
He said: “I think there’s something subtle that Rebecca Blunt does in her script of making it really walk a line of, making comments on socioeconomic status or maybe having like the idea that our people, can people subvert their DNA basically.
“But more than that I think it’s just a great heist movie. I mean you couldn’t ask for a better cast of people.”
The film also stars Daniel Craig, Seth McFarlane and Katie Holmes and during filming Tatum took the James Bond star on a trip to an “off roading park” and was impressed at how well he fitted in.
Tatum said: “You can put the guy anywhere. I mean I took him down to this place in Atlanta.
“It’s called Durhamtown, and it was this off roading park. You know he fits in there and looks and he fits in wearing a tuxedo walking next to the Queen.”

Paul Greengrass to direct Netflix movie about 2011 terrorist attack

OHMYGOSSIP — Paul Greengrass’ next movie will concern the 2011 terrorist attack in Norway.
The acclaimed director – whose previous credits include ‘The Bourne Supremacy’ and ‘United 93’ – is set to make a movie about the killing of 77 people by the far-right terrorist Anders Breivik, with Netflix having already picked up the rights to the film.
The movie is to be filmed in Norway with a $20 million budget and will feature a number of local actors, according to Deadline.
Greengrass had previously been expected to take on the Brian Helgeland-scripted film ‘Ness’ – which is about an incorruptible lawman – as his next project, with rumours suggesting Matt Damon was to be handed the lead role.
But the 62-year-old director has instead opted to tackle the difficult subject of the Norwegian terrorist attack.
And preparation for the movie is set to begin in before Christmas, according to deadline, which said Netflix saw off stiff competition from rival studios to secure the rights to the film.
Meanwhile, Greengrass revealed last year that didn’t plan on making another ‘Bourne’ movie.
The British director revealed he never considered a follow-up to 2004’s ‘The Bourne Supremacy’ and 2007’s ‘The Bourne Ultimatum’ because he’d completely forgotten about the action spy thriller franchise.
Greengrass, who returned to the film series with ‘Jason Bourne’ in 2016, said: “I didn’t spend the last seven or eight years thinking I would making another ‘Bourne’ film.
“I was always proud to have done them, but it had slipped into the rear-view mirror and I was very comfortable with that.”

Ben Hardy, Joe Mazzello and Gwilym Lee for Bohemian Rhapsody

OHMYGOSSIP — Ben Hardy, Joe Mazzello and Gwilym Lee have been confirmed for the new Queen biopic.
The trio will join Rami Malek in ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ as the rock group’s remaining band members, with ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ star Hardy set to play drummer Roger Taylor and Mazello in line to star as bassist John Deacon.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lee will portray lead guitarist Brian May, and Malek had already signed up to play the group’s late frontman Freddie Mercury, who died in 1991 aged 45.
Bryan Singer will produce the project alongside Graham King and Jim Beach, and Justin Haythe has written the script.
Denis O’Sullivan, Arnon Milchan and Jane Rosenthal will executive produce the motion picture.
Production on the movie is expected to begin this autumn and the film is set for release on Christmas Day 2018 (25.12.18) in the US.
‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ will chart Queen’s story up to their appearance at the Live Aid concert in 1985.
Hardy – who will star in forthcoming film ‘Mary Shelly’ opposite Elle Fanning – was previously linked to the role of the iconic drummer.
A source said: “Ben caught the eye of producers and he has worked with director Bryan Singer on ‘X-Men’.
“After a couple of screen tests, bosses decided he was the perfect man for the job and signed him up. He’s very excited.
“But he’s got plenty of work to do before filming starts – he’s even started taking drumming lessons to get up to scratch.”

Jamie Jewitt shows love for the ocean

OHMYGOSSIP — Love Island’s Jamie Jewitt joined former ‘Emmerdale’ star Roxanne Pallett to help clean up Blackpool beach on Tuesday (22.08.17).
The pair were helping with the the Sky Ocean Rescue campaign and showed their support by joining an early morning beach clean with the local council, before handing out refillable water bottles and giving tips to members of the public on how to reduce their own plastic use.
Sky launched the The Plastic Whale Tour recently, which sees a replica of the mammal made out of plastic travel through England, Wales and Scotland in a bid to educate people on the devastating effects leaving rubbish near the sea does each year.
The plastic has been picked up from beach cleans and local recycling plants and represents the same amount of plastic that pollutes the ocean every second leading to the deaths of many whales.
Jamie said: “It’s hard to get your head round the effect we are having on the ocean until you see the plastic whale and realise that is how much plastic is being dumped in the ocean every second.
“That is terrifying and why I’m here in Blackpool supporting the Sky Ocean Rescue campaign.
“I love swimming and enjoying the beauty of our oceans and we are all putting that at risk.
“It’s not hard to make a change, it’s simple; get a refillable bottle or don’t take a straw it really doesn’t take much but if we all do it it will make a difference.”
Roxanne, 34, was thrilled to be able to do her part as the beach side resort is where she used to visit with her family.
She added: “I grew up coming to Blackpool at the weekend and on holiday, so this beach has a very special place in my heart.
“This morning I took part in a beach clean with the amazing team from Blackpool Council, who are out here every day, and I saw first-hand the rubbish that’s left on

the beach.
“The Plastic Whale is a great reminder of the amount of plastics that get dumped in our oceans every second and the action we all need to take to save our oceans. We all need to act now to prevent further damage.”
Find out more about the Plastic Whale Tour and the issues affecting our oceans at the Sky Ocean Rescue Facebook page, @skyoceanrescue on Twitter, or visit skyoceanrescue.com.

Lacey Turner wants to go on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

OHMYGOSSIP — Lacey Turner wants to do ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’
The 29-year-old actress, who plays Stacey Fowler on the popular BBC soap ‘EastEnders’, has been approached by bosses of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ in the past but has turned it down because she’d rather sign up to the creepy-crawly show.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, she said: “I have been asked to go on ‘Strictly’ but I’m rubbish at dancing and I don’t really have the guts. I’d do it if it wasn’t on telly. I do think it’s a great show to do, though, as you learn a new skill. Maybe one day, I’ll grow a pair and put the shoes on.
“I’d like to do ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here’ but it’s just too far away from home and I’d be so hungry.”
The BBC dancing competition has seen a number of former and current ‘EastEnders’ stars taking part over the years but the forthcoming series will be extra special as Davood Ghadami – who plays handsome Kush Kazemi – has signed up.
Although scared to go on herself, Lacey said she is excited for Davood to take part.
She said: “I’m so excited for Dav. I think he’s going to be amazing. It’s a great thing for him to do and he’ll love the experience.
“Kellie Bright and Jake Wood, and also Matt Di Angelo told me it was such hard work, especially when you’re working on ‘EastEnders’.”
The actress also said she would never go on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ unlike former ‘EastEnders’ star Shaun Williamson, and Lacey said he was “brave” for doing it.
She said: “I wasn’t there when he was on the show so I don’t know him, but I think he’s a brave man. I couldn’t go on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’. I have terrible OCD so I’d be cleaning all the time – I’d be that boring I’d be out in the first week.”

Prue Leith asked Mary Berry for advice

OHMYGOSSIP — Prue Leith called Mary Berry for advice on working with Paul Hollywood.
The 77-year-old chef has taken over from the baking legend as a judge on ‘The Great British Bake Off’ and she revealed she consulted her on what it would be like alongside the only star to remain with the show when it moved from the BBC to Channel 4.
She told Heat magazine: “I did ring Mary up and my first question was, ‘Is he workable with?’ She said, ‘Yes actually. He knows his stuff.’ ”
Despite the changes to the show – including Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins replaced as hosts by Noel Fielding and Sandi Toksvig – Paul insists fans won’t be disappointed.
He said: “I’ve seen the first programme and you will not know the difference. The first thing I said was, ”Bake Off’ is back’…
“The bakers this year are the best we’ve ever had by a mile. This year’s final standard was exceptional and for us, it was the hardest judging I have ever been involved in.”
One things viewers will be glad to hear is the new presenters have embraced the cake-based puns and there’s still lots of innuendo in the exchanges between them and the judges.
Noel said: “I’m not really a pun man but you just find yourself coming out with them.
“I had to hold Sandi up when Paul said to Prue, ‘It’s a pretty nice crack’. I thought she was going to fall over.”
Noel is known for his flamboyant sense of style and he wants to reflect the show in his outfits.
He said: “I’m trying to throw in a few food-related shirts with nice colours without crossing the line into Timmy Mallet territory.”

Lauren Goodger wants gastric band

OHMYGOSSIP — Lauren Goodger wants a gastric band.
The ‘Only Way is Essex’ star is tired of fluctuating from a size 8 to a 14 and she thinks having surgery is the only way to keep her weight down for good because dieting makes her miserable.
She told Closer magazine: “When I was doing my fitness DVD, I was so strict and I saw results. But I’m a sociable person and it made me miserable to stay in all the time.
“I fell off the wagon and I’ve put weight back on. I reckon I’m a size 12 now and I’m scared I might get bigger. I don’t know what else to do. Go back to the gym, diet, and hate my life?
“I’ve spoken to friends about liposuction or a gastric band. I’d do anything like that if it meant I saw results fast.
“I’m sick of yo-yoing. I know I can have the best body. I’m curvy and go in and out in the right places but I just need that head start.
“I’ve tried everything else so surgery seems like the right option.”
Lauren finds it tricky to lose weight because she feels like she’d have to stop socialising to stick to a diet.
She said: “I love my nights out. I used to be guilty of staying in a bit because I didn’t want to be photographed. But that’s not me. I need to socialise.”
And the 30-year-old star admitted she’s been criticised for gaining weight by her jailbird boyfriend Joey Morrison, who she has been dating since April 2016.
She said: “Joey always tells me I’m beautiful but he knew me when I was at my slimmest and a size 8.
“He says, ‘Why can’t you get back to that again?
“But he’s a man and doesn’t understand it’s harder for women to lose weight because we have more body fat.
“He’s supportive, but he’s a very fit, active person, even while in prison, so he thinks I should just do the same.”
