Jamie Oliver will ‘revisit’ The Naked Chef next year

OHMYGOSSIP — Jamie Oliver will do a one-off “retrospective special” of ‘The Naked Chef’ next year.
The 42-year-old culinary genius’ popular cooking show first hit television screens in 1999 and ran for three seasons plus three subsequent festive specials and, as part of its 20th anniversary in 2019, he has decided to revisit it.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, he said: “We’re going to go nuts and have a year of celebrations. We’re going to revisit the old show with a retrospective special.
“‘The Naked Chef’ was cool. I wouldn’t say I’m cool any more, I like to think I’m maturing appropriately. I still feel like a kid at heart.”
But Jamie – who has five children; Poppy,15, Daisy, 14, Petal, eight, Buddy, six, and Rocket, 12 months, with his wife Jools – won’t be stripping off for the special milestone.
He explained: “I won’t be cooking naked. I did it once and it’s not good for public health. My kids especially don’t want to see me doing anything naked.”
However, although the show ran on BBC Two, it’s highly unlikely the restaurateur will screen his special with the broadcaster as he recently slammed their work ethic.
He told the Mirror Online: “I was born in the Beeb and part of me would like to go back there. I looked at it but they are ridiculous to work for. The budget for the programme and the presenters’ fees… I am happy to take a cut on everything. But the confusion and entanglement and what you can do. No way. Channel 4 is way better to work for.”
His latest series of ‘Jamie’s Quick & Easy Food’ returns to Channel 4 next week and he has admitted he can’t believe the format has only just come to him.
He explained: “Everyone is nuts about speed in cooking and I have addressed that. Then there is cost and I addressed that. With this show I can count the ingredients on one hand and you only have to buy a few things on the way home from work in busy Britain today. That is kind of relevant.”

Danniella Westbrook asks Christopher Maloney to be godfather to unborn child

OHMYGOSSIP — Danniella Westbrook has asked Christopher Maloney to be godfather to her unborn child.
The former ‘X Factor’ star is “thrilled” that his best friend is expecting a baby with her boyfriend Alan Thomason, 34, as it’s given her a positive outlook on life and he’s over the moon that she has chosen him and his partner Gary Donan to have a major role in the little one’s life.
Speaking to Mail Online, he said: “She’s in a great place and looking to the future. Me and my partner are absolutely thrilled to be asked to be god parents.”
The 43-year-old star – who has battled with drugs and alcohol addiction – recently said she’s convinced she’s pregnant with twins because she’s only five weeks but her bump is already “huge”.
And Christopher, 39, is hoping that the blonde actress is carrying two babies because she’s such a fabulous mother to her two children Kai, 20, and Jody, 14, whom she has with her ex Kevin Jenkins.
He explained: “We love her to bits and fingers crossed it’s twins. She’ll be a great mum. She’s done a brilliant job with her other children.”
Danniella’s pregnancy came as a huge shock to fans as it was announced a few months after she struck up a relationship with Alan, but she’s adamant he’s the one for her because he’s a “real” man.
She said recently: “He’s a real man’s man and he’s Spanish so he has those whole Spanish values and family-orientated and stuff like that. He just takes control and he does take care of me. He’s good fun as well so we’ve got a happy mix between everything, which is great. I think I’ve found the man that can actually tame me and make me do what’s right and I listen. I don’t actually argue back all the time I just sort of go ‘ok’.”

Coronation Street bosses ban needles on set

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Coronation Street’ bosses have banned real needles on the soap’s factory set.
Producers are so concerned about health and safety regulations that they’ve told the cast members whose characters work in Underworld that they’ll have to pretend to stitch up knickers because they’re not “trusted” with the sharp sewing tool.
Jennie McAlpine – who plays Fiz Stape in the long-running soap – told The Sun newspaper: “The directors and the producers don’t trust us with needles because we talk so much, so we don’t actually have needles in any of those machines as a rule. When the time comes and they are needed, we have a man who comes in and puts the needles in the machines, and we have to have a health and safety briefing. It’s quite right though, because we’d be a nightmare if we had needles in all the time. Can you imagine, with all that gossiping, and then we went to use the machines to sew? I think we’d be sewing our fingers together all the time – there would be blood everywhere.”
The flame-haired actress has been on the soap for over 15 years and, while reflecting n her time on the programme, recently admitted some of her favourite scenes were with Graeme Hawley, who played her murdering husband John Stape.
Documenting her character’s ups and downs, she said last year: “Alan [Halsall, who plays Tyrone] will not be happy as we don’t mention any exes but I absolutely adored working with Graeme. I loved that story and nobody knew how far it would run.
“It’s one of the three milestones that changed Fiz as a person. She got married and had a baby with John and all the horrendousness that went with it, then her surrogate mum Hayley died in front of her almost. Before that she witnessed Tyrone being a victim of domestic violence. Later she became like a mum to his little girl Ruby.”

Gemma Atkinson will FaceTime dogs while on Strictly Come Dancing

OHMYGOSSIP — Gemma Atkinson will video call her dogs when she’s training for ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The ‘Emmerdale’ actress – who lives in Greater Manchester – will spend the next three months in London while she competes on the ballroom and latin show and has already made plans to FaceTime her pet pooches Norman and Ollie while she’s away from them.
Speaking to K9 magazine, she said: “When I FaceTime my mum and they hear my voice they pop up like little meerkats and come over. It’s the same if they’re with me and hear my mum’s voice.”
Meanwhile, the 32-year-old star recently admitted she nearly turned down the chance to appear on the programme because of stage fright – even though she’s grown up on screen.
She said: “I didn’t say yes straight away. In fact I almost turned it down. I was worried about “Strictly’ throwing me back into the spotlight and I was scared of performing live on TV each week in front of 12 million people. I’ve been in huge shows like ‘Emmerdale’, ‘Casualty’ and ‘Hollyoaks’ but I’m used to pre-recording everything.”
It will be the first time the blonde beauty has done live recordings in more than a decade after she gave up theatre due to her crippling anxiety.
She explained: “I actually stopped doing live theatre about 10 years ago because It is so nerve-racking, but I’ll have to get over that.”
Gemma says she would have been foolish to say no as she would have regretted it.
She added: “After two weeks they chased my agent for an answer.
“My mum told me It was such an amazing opportunity and I would be silly to turn it down.
“I always think it’s better to do something and it go wrong than regret not doing something and never knowing, so I said yes.”

EastEnders’ Linda Carter diagnosed with cancer

OHMYGOSSIP — EastEnders’ Linda Carter has been battling cancer.
The blonde matriarch – portrayed by Kellie Bright – has spent the past few months away from Walford looking after her poorly mother Elaine Peacock (Maria Friedman) while her husband Mick (Danny Dyer) has been trying to keep the family business afloat.
Fans were convinced that Linda – who returned to Albert Square full-time in August – had been having an affair behind her spouse’s back as recent scenes saw her end their marriage, but it has now been revealed that she was hiding a big secret from her loved one – albeit not one viewers were expecting – she’s been diagnosed with cancer.
In a shock storyline, Linda told Jack Branning, played by Scott Maslen, that she had remained away from Walford for so long because she had been fighting the disease.
She explained when he questioned whether she had been unfaithful: “There isn’t anyone else. I wasn’t caring for my mum, I mean I was at first, she got better and…”
She then added: “I couldn’t come back. I’ve had cancer.”
More details about Linda’s diagnosis are yet to come to light and it’s not known whether she will ever pluck up the courage to tell her husband about her health scare.
But it’s not just the Carters in the midst of drama at the moment, as fans were left gripped to the edge of their seats last night (05.09.17) when Steven Beale (Aaron Sidwell) set fire to the restaurant with his step-mother Jane Beale (Laurie Brett) inside.
Aaron said recently: “He’s willing to go as far as it takes, whatever that might be and whoever it may hurt. We’re really going to see this tug of war – Steven’s always been this character that could go either way.
“He could go full evil or he could redeem himself and become the good guy. I think we’re really going to see that battle across this week especially.”

John Motson to quit BBC after 50 years

OHMYGOSSIP — John Motson will quit the BBC next year.
The 72-year-old sports commentator will hang up his microphone at the end of the football season in May after 50 years working for the corporation, during which time he has covered 10 World Cups and 29 FA Cup finals.
He said: “I’ve absolutely loved my time commentating for BBC Sport.
“I’ve been fortunate enough to witness some of the biggest moments in football history mere yards away from the action, so I’ve really been very lucky.”
Motson – who has covered 10 European Championships and more than 200 England games – admitted he is not retiring from sport completely.
He added: “I’m hoping to keep my association with football and with broadcasting – I’m not retiring from everything, I’m retiring from the BBC.”
The commentating legend’s final game for the BBC will be the 2018 FA Cup Final in May, and he will return to his ‘Match of the Day’ duties on Saturday (09.09.17) when he covers Brighton vs West Brom.
Barbara Slater, BBC director of sport, said: “John Motson is a real asset to the football world and he will be sorely missed.
“It isn’t hard to see why he is so highly treasured, not just by the BBC but also by the nation, due to his instantly recognisable voice, wonderful sense of humour and his incredible dedication to the sport.
“As he moves on from commentating for BBC Sport, we wish him the best of luck for the future.”
‘Match of the Day’ presenter Gary Lineker paid tribute to Motson, branding him a “legend”.
He tweeted: “John Motson to end his 50 year career with @BBCSport. Listened to Motty as a child, as a player, as a colleague. A legend of his profession. (sic)”
Motson is affectionately called Motty in the football community and known for wearing a sheepskin coat.
One of his most infamous commentating lines was during a Tottenham game when he said: “For those of you watching in black and white, Spurs are in the all-yellow strip.”
In 2001, Motson was awarded an OBE for his services to sports broadcasting.
He joked: “I thought about wearing my sheepskin, but I didn’t think it was appropriate.”

Chris Ramsey dropped from I’m A Celebrity… spin-off

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Ramsey has been dropped from ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ spin-off ‘Extra Camp’.
The 31-year-old comedian has been given the axe from the ITV2 programme as part of a major overhaul of the show, and the news comes in the wake of former Jungle Queen Vicky Pattison also being ditched, leaving real-life couple Joe Swash and Stacey Solomon as the current only hosts.
But the pair won’t be co-hosting alone as producers will be bringing in some as-yet unannounced new faces, and are even considering changing the name of the popular programme.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Bosses love the ‘Extra Camp’ format and think it’s a great part of the whole ‘I’m A Celebrity…’ package, but they felt it could do with a shake-up.
“Obviously Ant and Dec are always going to be the hosts of the main show, but producers have tended to tinker around with ‘Extra Camp’, changing hosts, tweaking the format and even changing the name.
“Unfortunately Chris is going to be one of those to face the axe, along with Vicky, but bosses very much enjoyed working with him.”
Chris is unlikely to be too upset to be missing the jaunt to Australia because while his spokesperson confirmed he won’t be back, she revealed he’ll be busy working on a Comedy Central project when ‘I’m A Celebrity…’ takes place.
The representative added: “He loves the show so will definitely make time to catch up and knows the new team will have a brilliant time like he did.”
It isn’t only the format of the spin-off show that is currently looking uncertain, because it isn’t yet clear whether Ant McPartlin – who went into rehab for treatment for painkiller addiction earlier this year – will be given the go ahead by doctors to front the main programme alongside Declan Donnelly.
Ant said recently: “Doctors wouldn’t sign it off today because I’m not fully fit yet.
“I’m recovering really well, ahead of schedule slightly.
But do I want to be on screen? Good God, yes.
“In the past I would have gone against doctors’ advice and just done it. Now I have to sit back.”

Hollyoaks girls battle it out for Dancing on Ice

OHMYGOSSIP — Hollyoaks’ Stephanie Waring, Sarah Jayne Dunn and Anna Passey are reportedly battling it out to secure a spot on the ‘Dancing on Ice’ line up.
The three actresses are said to be in with the chance of joining the revamped version of the skating show when it returns to screens next year after they took part in the audition rounds recently, but bosses have told them that only one of them will make it.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “‘Dancing on Ice’ bosses have reached out to nearly 50 celebrities in total about taking part in the new series.
“There’s a big pool of talent, but only those who can prove they have the ability to actually tackle some of the harder moves and the training will make it in.
“They really want a glamorous soap star in the show, and three of the ‘Hollyoaks’ girls are in with a shout but only one of them is going to make it.”
Details of the reboot are being kept relatively under wraps for the time being but Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby – who fronted the original show together from 2006 until 2011 – have been confirmed as the hosts, while Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean – who coached the competitors on the original – will be head judges this time around.
The legendary skaters will be joined by Jason Gardiner – who was known as “Mr Nasty” for his acid tongue remarks – on the judging panel, but one person will be noticeably missing from the show as Chris’ partner Karen Barber hasn’t been approached yet.
A source close to Karen said: “Understandably Karen is disappointed to have not received a contract yet – she loves ‘Dancing On Ice’ and is incredibly excited to see it returning to TV and of course she’d love to be part of it. It’s a bit of a kick in the teeth for Karen to see Jason Gardiner invited back and not her.”

Megan McKenna ‘so happy’ with Pete Wicks

OHMYGOSSIP — Megan McKenna is “so happy” in her relationship with Pete Wicks.
The 24-year-old television personality has branded her beau and ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ co-star Pete – whom she struck up a romance with on screen last year – as the “best boyfriend”, despite their 18 month relationship being plagued with cheating accusations and make ups and break ups.
She told The Sun newspaper: “Honestly he’s been like the best boyfriend, our relationship now is just like better than it could ever be. I’m so happy. I mean I’ve got quite a lot going on at the moment and I feel like I’m juggling it quite well.”
But despite being on cloud nine at the moment, the brunette beauty previously admitted she was “worried” that returning to the ITVBe reality show could mean the end for their relationship, and hopes fans of the show don’t hound them on social media.
Speaking last week, Megan said: “I’m really happy with how we are … That break apart was the best thing that could have happened. It is a worry but we’ve started it with a clean slate – any relationship is hard but we do get picked on Twitter.”
The pair are definitely loved up at the moment though, as Pete, 28, recently revealed he is the “number one fan” of his girlfriend, who is currently trying to kickstart her music career.
Taking to Instagram after the first episode of her music based reality show ‘There’s Something About Megan’ aired last week, he wrote: “I couldn’t be more proud of Megan for following her dreams and showing people the real Megan Mckenna. I’ll always be your number 1 fan (sic),” followed by a heart emoji and a kiss face emoticon.
Meanwhile, although they’re trying to take things slowly this time around, Pete has been thinking about marriage but is convinced he’ll need a while to save up because his partner wants him to propose with a huge “rock.”
He said: “I never thought about getting married before I was with Megan. [But] like any girl does, she wants a big rock.”

Eamonn Holmes will live off baked beans while Ruth’s on Strictly

OHMYGOSSIP — Eamonn Holmes will be living off baked beans and takeaways “every night” while wife Ruth Langsford is busy juggling ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ with work.
The ‘This Morning’ co-host has joked that he’ll be a ‘Strictly’ “widower” as he has no skills in the kitchen, so while the 57-year-old beauty is competing to lift the glitterball trophy on the BBC One ballroom and Latin contest, he’ll be pigging out on fast food.
He said: “She’s a domestic goddess and runs the whole house.
“She does everything and when she is not there, well it’s going to be be baked beans every night. It will probably be takeaways and they will go out into the bin before she gets home.”
However, the British breakfast TV legend is fully supportive of his wife’s decision to join the show and will be helping out in every way possible, running her baths and applying after tan lotion.
He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “I am very good at running her a bath. You know like Rocky, with the trainer with the towel around his neck?
“Everything is on a back burner for me now. She did call me at 5am to the bathroom to apply lotion on her back.
“I think it was the moisturiser after the fake tan.
“I just go along with it. I am just a ‘Strictly’ widower.”
Despite the ‘Loose Women’ panellist giving the show ago, the Irishman insists he isn’t interested in taking part on ‘Strictly’ or any other reality show.
He said: “The show is not for me. I wouldn’t do any of the reality shows. The bookmakers have made her 66/1 but I think they may eat their words.”

Laura Tobin gives birth to baby girl

OHMYGOSSIP — Good Morning Britain’s Laura Tobin has given birth to a baby girl.
The 35-year-old weather girl and her husband Dean Brown welcomed their first child into the world over the summer but the pair have kept the news quiet until now as the tiny tot – named Charlotte – was born prematurely and is still being cared for in hospital.
Speaking on the early morning show today (06.09.17), host Susanna Reid said: “You may have noticed that Laura hasn’t been here over the summer. We are pleased to say she has given birth to a little baby girl… She has called her Charlotte…
“Little Charlotte came a little earlier than planned and she is being looked after in hospital. Laura and Dean with her every day and she is growing every day…”
Susanna’s co-host Piers Morgan added: “All our best to Laura and Dean and little baby Charlotte. It’s been a tricky few months but good luck to all of you.”
The brunette beauty later took to her Twitter account to confirm the news herself.
She said: “I’m proud to announce i’m a mummy-My beautiful baby arrived over the summer (much earlier than planned) a gorgeous girl called Charlotte. (sic)”
Laura announced she was expecting a baby in May and hinted at the time that the little one was due towards the end of September with a cryptic reference to the weather.
She said: “I literally can’ believe it’s May so I thought I’d do a little forecast looking ahead at what is coming up.
“Now as we head through the summer months it’s looking likely to be drier and warmer than average and as we head into September things will be blooming.
“But it won’t just be my dress because I’m very pleased to let everyone know that come the end of October, I’ll be having my own little ray of sunshine. I’m having a baby!”
Laura and Dean have been married for seven years.

Michael Rooker improvised while filming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Rooker was able to improvise while filming ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2’.
The 62-year-old actor starred as Yondu in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies but, although the filmmaker James Gunn likes his script to be followed thoroughly, he has admitted the cast were able to let loose a little bit with their acting.
Speaking to Den of Geek, Rooker said: “He likes the script to be followed, but he’s not adamant about it. You have the freedom to improvise. I did at least! I don’t know about any of these other guys. I felt like I could say things any way I wanted.
“His writing is so well thought-out and the part was written for me, so I didn’t need to come up with anything. It was easy.”
Yondu is the leader of the Ravagers, a team of Space Pirates, and formed a father-like bond with Star-Lord aka Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) but at the end of the sequel, the character sacrificed himself to save the Guardians of the Galaxy.
Rooker, who starred in both movies, admitted he was “very happy” with the movie.
He said: “I thought it was a great way. Yondu killed it, Gunn knocked that sequence out of the park.
“In the middle of all that CGI, the challenges were maybe not what you think. You don’t know how loud it’s going to be, or how to project your performance.
“It’s a very technical sequence, and Gunn was great at helping me get the best of that. I was very happy with how it played out.”
The Guardians of the Galaxy are set to appear in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ where they have to work with the Earth-bound heroes to stop the mad titan Thanos.
However, it’s believed Rooker is set to return as Yondu in the movie despite being killed off and the actor kept tight-lipped about his potential return.
He said: “Well, I don’t know. I think it’s too soon to say. You’ll have to wait and see.”

Gary Dauberman was scared of Stephen King’s response to IT remake

OHMYGOSSIP — Gary Dauberman didn’t think Stephen King would like his version the thriller ‘IT’.
The screenwriter took over writing the script for the movie adaptation of King’s 1986 novel after original writer Cary Fukunaga’s departed the film but he admitted he was “more scared” of what the author would think.
Speaking to Slash Film, Dauberman said: “I just was more scared of what Stephen King would think. That was the new fear that presented itself adapting it.”
Although Dauberman was scared about the response the author would have to the movie, King recently admitted he was stunned by how frightening Andres Muschietti’s version is and how terrifying Bill Skarsgard’s portrayal of Pennywise is.
The writer said: “I had hopes, but I was not prepared for how good it really was. It’s something that’s different and at the same time, it’s something that audiences are gonna relate to. They’re gonna like the characters. To me, it’s all about character. If you like the character, if you care, the scares generally work. I’m sure my fans will enjoy the movie. I think they’re gonna really enjoy the movie. And I think some of them will go back two or three times and actually savour the thing.”
‘IT’ follows a group of youngsters who are faced with their biggest fears when they square off against the evil clown known as Pennywise in Derry, Maine, after multiple children go missing.
Although a sequel has already been hinted which will look at the surviving kids who have matured into adulthood and are forced to revisit their horrors as one by one they encounter Pennywise again, Dauberman hasn’t written the script yet.
He said: “I’ve been focused on this one and I think everybody’s head are in this one until this one comes out, see what it does.
“Of course when you’re writing the script, it’s hard not to think about.
“You want to think about ways characters are going to go and all that stuff just to make it feel like there’s going to be a story beyond this movie but that’s as far as I’ve taken it.”

Anthony Daniels hates Jar Jar Binks

OHMYGOSSIP — Anthony Daniels has slammed the character of Jar Jar Binks in the ‘Star Wars’ franchise.
The 71-year-old movie veteran has played the character of C-3PO in every movie in the hit sci-fi franchise to date – including the spin-offs – but he has admitted there was one character he didn’t like in the prequels.
Speaking at Fan Expo 2017, the actor said: “Jar Jar was created by George Lucas and he employed an actor, Ahmed Best, who is a terrific actor. Terrific mover. Terrific, inventive brain.
“Highly intelligent. Did exactly what George asked him to do. George’s son Jett was thrilled by that performance that Ahmed did perfectly, but Jett was 10 years old.
“Now, I wasn’t, so for me Jar Jar was a bit like the Ewoks. I’ve grown past that stage.
“10 year olds, 11 year olds, eight year olds adored Jar Jar. It was a very, very good thing to do, so I hugely admire Ahmed Best.
“He got very bad press for doing it. And Jar Jar was not for me.”
Jar Jar Binks first appeared in ‘Star Wars: The Phantom Menace’ as the comic-relief character and guide to Qui-Gon Jinn (Liam Neeson) and a young Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor).
The Gungan then appeared, somewhat briefly, in the subsequent two following movies but hasn’t been seen since and became one of the most hated characters in the sci-fi franchise.
Daniels is set to reprise his role as the droid alongside his companion R2-D2 in the upcoming ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ movie.
‘The Last Jedi’ is set to feature a number of returning cast members, including ‘Star Wars’ legend Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, John Boyega (Finn), Oscar Isaac (Poe Dameron), Lupita Nyong’o (Maz Kanata), Gwendoline Christie (Captain Phasma), Andy Serkis (Snoke) and the late Carrie Fisher as General Leia, while Benicio Del Toro, Laura Dern and Kelly Marie Tran are all newcomers to the franchise.
The next instalment is expected to be released this December.

Shia LaBeouf won’t be in the next Indiana Jones

OHMYGOSSIP — Shia LaBeouf won’t be in ‘Indiana Jones 5’.
The 31-year-old actor starred as Mutt in ‘Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull’ – the 2008 fourth installment of the archaeological adventure franchise – and though his character was discovered to be the son of the titular hero, he won’t be joining his on-screen father Harrison Ford in the next movie in the series.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly about the long-awaited film, screenwriter David Koepp said: “Harrison plays Indiana Jones, that I can certainly say.
“And the Shia LaBeouf character is not in the film.”
Director Steven Spielberg will be returning to helm the movie and Koepp said they are currently “plugging away” at the project, though they don’t yet have a definite start date for filming.
He said: “We’re plugging away at it. In terms of when we would start, I think that’s up to Mr Spielberg and Mr Ford.
“I know we’ve got a script we’re mostly happy with. Work will be endless, of course, and ongoing, and Steven just finished shooting ‘The Post’.
“If the stars align, hopefully it’ll be his next film.”
Although Spielberg is returning to the franchise, creator George Lucas – who has been involved in every movie in the series – is reportedly not coming back to assist with the upcoming film.
The franchise, which started in 1981, follows the fictional archaeologist, who originally fought against the Nazis in their search for Biblical artefacts.
However, in the 2008 movie, fans of the franchise were disappointment that the movie took a different angle and dealt with alien origins rather than Biblical stories.
Koepp recently revealed he thought the last ‘Indiana Jones’ was not as successful as the previous movies in the franchise.
He said: “It’s hard because you can learn like if something maybe didn’t work as well as you think it would well we certainly wouldn’t do that again, but you wouldn’t have done that again anyway, you already did it, so it’s hard to say.
“For me it was the MacGuffin dictates everything, and so we tried to make the best possible choice we could.
“Not that nobody didn’t try to make the best choice that they could in the past, but we tried to give us the one that gave us the Indiana Jones movie we most wanted to see.”

Andres Muschietti blown away by Bill Skarsgard in IT reboot

OHMYGOSSIP — Andres Muschietti was blown away by Bill Skarsgard’s portrayal of Pennywise in the ‘IT’ remake.
The 44-year-old filmmaker has helmed the new adaptation of Stephen King’s 1986 horror novel about a child-killing monster – who was originally portrayed by Tim Curry in a 1990 TV mini-series – and Muschietti wanted to make Pennywise “unpredictable”, something his lead actor did to great success.
Speaking to Den of Geek, the filmmaker said: “In part, it is the essence of the monster in the book, but it’s not in your face.
“But I did want to bring out that layer to the newer version, so you see a character that is edgier because he’s unpredictable and he does weird things.
“In fact, one of the descriptions of the character in the book is that IT was not very good at replicating human emotions.
“And that’s something that is overlooked in general. In the 1990 adaptation you see Tim Curry and he is consistently rowdy and loud and pretty human, for a child murderer.
“And I wanted to bring that sort of glitch, erratic behaviour, with the purpose of making him unsettling.
“Then it was Bill, who with that concept started building and building and building. And it came to a point where he was bringing a new thing on each take, because unpredictable means unpredictable.
“He’s an actor that is not afraid of bringing a new thing every time. So each take he would do something different and it blew my mind. It was quite terrifying.”
‘IT’ follows a group of youngsters who are faced with their biggest fears when they square off against the evil clown in Derry, Maine, after multiple children go missing.
The surviving kids mature into adulthood and are forced to revisit their horrors as one by one they encounter Pennywise again.
Muschietti previously revealed that ‘Allegiant’ star Skarsgard, 26, was so frightening in his full makeup that he freaked out his child co-stars on set.
