“Time flies when we are together. We are always laughing.

“It was such a relief to get Mollie as it’s not good if you don’t get along with your partner. For me it’s a dream come true.”

Danniella Westbrook splits from fiancé Alan Thomason

OHMYGOSSIP — Danniella Westbrook has split from her fiancé Alan Thomason after they heartbreakingly suffered a miscarriage at seven weeks.
The former ‘EastEnders’ star and her beau are “having a tough time of it” at the moment and are taking some time away from each other.
She said: “Me and Alan are not together at the minute, we have had an argument, we’re having a tough time of it at the minute. He’s in Benidorm, I need some time to myself right now and he’s taking it very badly.
“I need to rest, I might go away for a couple of weeks and just relax and sleep and eat. At the moment I’m happy on my own. We rushed into everything too quick.”
And the 43-year-old actress doesn’t know what the future holds now but she is adamant she has finished having children because she doesn’t think she could “take the heartbreak” if she was to miscarry again.
She shared: “No, I don’t think I could take the heartbreak of it all. I can’t take it and I don’t think it’s good on my body. I don’t think I could try to have any more kids. I’ve got two lovely kids and Alan’s got a baby as well, he’s got a six year old. It’s not like we don’t have children.”
Daniella was understandably devastated when she found out but she admits she knew there was “always a chance” because of her pregnancy history.
She told The Sun Online: “There was always a chance I was going to miscarry because since I’ve had lots of problems since my daughter was born by an emergency c-section. Something went wrong and four days later the whole inside of the stitches came open and my intestines pushed out and I was rushed into hospital. They put it all back in and I was stitched up but ever since then I’ve never been able to carry. I’ve always had terrible time with periods, phantom pregnancies, cysts on my ovaries, pregnancies. I’ve just a lot of pain and trouble with it since.
“I got to three month mark with that one [her previous miscarriage] and this time I got to seven weeks. So it’s been an awful time and it caused so much pressure for me and Alan really. We were already under pressure over getting a new place and it caused a lot of upset. I was so looking forward to having baby, I’m 43, he’s 35, I thought ‘there’s no way I’m going to get pregnant again’. And I did and I was really happy about it … When I went to the doctor they said the [amniotic] sac wasn’t sticking right, my womb wasn’t strong enough. I lost a lot of blood, it’s been really painful.”

Sir David Jason under 24-hour protection after threat

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir David Jason is under 24-hour protection after a “credible threat” was made against him.
The ‘Only Fools and Horses’ actor is being heavily guarded on and off the set of BBC’s ‘Still Open All Hours’ after he was targeted by a “rogue nutter”.
A source told The Sun: “Production and security have been told there has been talk of a real threat. No one is taking any chances.
“Security is extra tight compared to previous years and he has two suited guards who follow him everywhere.
“They even follow his car when he leaves the set.
“The road they film on has been barriered off halfway along and sometimes even blocked with a van.”
When asked about the threat to the 77-year-old actor, a BBC spokesperson said: “We wouldn’t comment on security matters.”
Meanwhile, although he’s achieved huge success in the UK, Sir David recently insisted he never wanted to spread his wings and attempt to crack the US – despite having offers – because he’s too busy.
He explained: “Despite offers I have never felt the urge to try to make it in Hollywood. There are too many ¬interesting parts for me to play here.”
With offers still flooding in, David is adamant he has no plans to retire any time soon.
He added: “I have been so fortunate. I always say, it is not the arrival, it is the journey. And there is still more to the journey left hopefully. I will continue to entertain the great British public. Because that is what I love doing.”

Charlotte Hawkins not worried about Strictly curse

OHMYGOSSIP — Charlotte Hawkins is not worried about the so-called ‘Strictly’ curse.
The ‘Good Morning Britain’ newsreader has a two-year-old daughter Ella Rose with husband Mark Herbert and insisted that their marriage is rock solid and she won’t be falling for her hunky dance partner Brendan Cole.
She said: “The Curse? I asked him whether it would be a concern for him. We’re really happily married, so it’s not an issue, but it’s still weird for your husband to be watching you dance intimately with another man. I wanted to check he was going to be happy with that and OK I’m dancing in such an intense way.
“I’d find it really hard if it were the other way around. But then I’d know they’re just dancing and I have trust in our relationship.
“He is happy with it, which is great. Still, I needed to make sure.
“I knew it was going to be intimate and it’s even more so. It’s the closest I’ve been to any man apart from my husband for years.”
And Charlotte joked that if her dancing on the BBC One show is not impressive, she will simply show off her legs to distract viewers and the judges.
She quipped to The Sun: “The worse my dancing gets, the more leg I’ll have to show to distract everybody. I’m probably going to shock myself. I suspect a lot of people will be shocked too. But you have to throw yourself into it.
“I don’t want to be the only one saying, ‘I’d like my skirt to be down to my ankle and my tops up to my chin’.
“I’ve been told you often start off saying, ‘I’ll just have the dresses down to the knee’. Then the next week it’s up to the thigh and the next week it’s, ‘Oh, maybe we’ll just go a bit shorter still’.”

Lauren told The Sun Online: “I’m paranoid that Chloe will be joining ‘TOWIE’ but I don’t know.
“[The ‘TOWIE’ bosses] are so unpredictable. They have said no one from ‘Love Island’ are joining this year but they wouldn’t tell me anyway.
“It would be so awkward. I know John would hate it.
“She publicly humiliated him. It’s messed with his head. I’m not worried I’m a rebound because I know I’m not but it has given him lot of trust issues.
“She stayed at his house and then flew to ‘Love Island’ that day. Really really f***ed up his trust issues.”
Lauren also revealed she has yet to have a conversation with Chloe, after the reality TV babe blasted her and Jon’s romance.
She said: “I’ve not met her but I did bump into her in Selfridges shopping the other day.
“She’s been so vocal on Twitter about me and Jon and I expected her to come over and say something.
“I was waiting for her to have a go because she definitely saw me and looked right at me but thankfully she didn’t.
“I don’t know the full ins and outs on the situation so don’t want to judge. I definitely don’t want to get in the middle of anything.”

Mel Brooks used handkerchiefs to stop Young Frankenstein crew laughs

OHMYGOSSIP — Mel Brooks bought 100 handkerchiefs for the crew on ‘Young Frankenstein’ to stop them laughing.
The 91-year-old actor and filmmaker helmed the 1974 Gene Wilder movie – which is a parody of the classic horror film genre – and admitted the laughter from the crew would often spoil filming so he made them stuff their mouths with handkerchiefs when they wanted to laugh.
Speaking on ‘The Jonathan Ross Show’, Brooks said: “I don’t want to brag but laughter from the crew would actually often spoil a scene in ‘Young Frankenstein’. We’re filming and then the crew breaks up and then you’re in trouble. So I went out and bought 100 handkerchiefs, it cost me about 60 bucks, and I gave them to everybody on the crew and I said, ‘When you feel like laughing, shove that handkerchief in your mouth. Don’t laugh and don’t spoil a scene because I can’t keep doing it.’ There was a seas of white handkerchiefs and I knew I had a hit.”
The acclaimed filmmaker – who is best known for his satirical comedies – also recalled the time he met with the ‘Master of Suspense’ Alfred Hitchcock and discussed his script for the Hitchcock-spoof movie ‘High Anxiety’.
Brooks starred and directed the 1977 movie and received a box of wine costing around $25,000 from Hitchcock himself.
He said: “I loved him. I actually knew Hitchcock, he took me to the finest restaurant in Beverly Hills. He sat next to me and I showed him a rough cut of ‘High Anxiety’ and he laughed only once when the birds were s***ting all over me. Then without a word he got up and just departed, just left. And I said, ‘Oh my God, he didn’t like the film, how terrible.’ Next day, I’m at 20th Century Fox, a big box, it’s a box of wine, a very fine French wine, must have been worth 20, 25 thousand dollars, arrived with a little note saying, ‘I had no anxiety about ‘High Anxiety’ it’s a truly wonderful film, love Hitch … The Master of Suspense.’ ”
‘High Anxiety’ was Brooks’ first film as a producer and first speaking lead role and stars Harvey Korman, Cloris Leachman and Madeline Kahn.
The film is dubbed a parody of suspense thrillers, most notably Hitchcock’s work, including ‘Spellbound’, ‘Vertigo’ and ‘The Birds’, and was dedicated to the English filmmaker.

Spencer Treat Clark and Charlayne Woodard to reprise roles in Glass

OHMYGOSSIP — Spencer Treat Clark and Charlayne Woodard are to reprise their roles in M. Night Shyamalan’s movie ‘Glass’.
Both actors starred in the filmmaker’s first movie in the now trilogy ‘Unbreakable’ with Clark as Joseph Dunn and Woodard starring as the mother of Samuel L. Jackson’s character and villain of the movie Elijah Price aka Mr. Glass.
‘American Horror Story’ star Sarah Paulson is also set to star in the upcoming third movie in the trilogy.
Shyamalan – who came to prominence following the release of his 1999 supernatural thriller ‘The Sixth Sense’ – revealed ‘Unbreakable’ and his 2016 thriller ‘Split’ share a universe and he is stepping back into it that world for his next project.
On Twitter, the filmmaker wrote: “It’s taken 17 years but I can finally answer the #1 question I get ‘are you making a f#&@ing sequel to ‘Unbreakable or what?’ My new film is the sequel to #Unbreakable AND #Split. It was always my dream to have both films collide in this third film. (sic)”
‘Split’ follows James McAvoy as multiple-personality sufferer Kevin Wendell Crumb who kidnaps Anya Taylor-Joy’s character Casey Cooke but attempts to battle his darkest personality known as The Beast.
The surprise ending of the film shows it be a follow-up to 2000’s ‘Unbreakable’, which starred Bruce Willis as security guard David Dunn who discovers he has super-human strength and resistance to injury.
Jackson starred as Price, who was born with Type I osteogenesis imperfecta a rare disease that renders sufferers’ bones extremely fragile and prone to fracture leading him to be dubbed ‘Mr. Glass’ by other kids and the inspiration for his search for Dunn’s character, his polar opposite.
Price is revealed to be responsible for a number of terrorist atrocities orchestrated to find a real-life superhero.
In ‘Glass’, Dunn will be pursuing The Beast in ‘Glass’ in a series of encounters and will be produced by Shyamalan and Jason Blum, who also produced the two previous films for Universal Studios.
Ashwin Rajan and Marc Bienstock will also be part of the film along with Steven Schneider who will executive produce.

OHMYGOSSIP — Rian Johnson has finished post-production on ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’.
The 43-year-old filmmaker has helmed eighth instalment of the sci-fi saga, which will hit cinemas this December, and now Johnson has taken to Instagram to announce the movie is done.
Uploading a photograph of the post-production team, Johnson wrote: “Aaaand that’s a wrap on the hardest working post production team in the galaxy. Going to miss sitting in dark rooms with these goobers. (sic)”
‘The Last Jedi’ is set to feature a number of returning cast members, including ‘Star Wars’ legend Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), John Boyega (Finn), Daisy Ridley (Rey), Adam Driver (Kylo Ren), Oscar Isaac (Poe Dameron), Lupita Nyong’o (Maz Kanata), Gwendoline Christie (Captain Phasma), Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), Andy Serkis (Snoke), Domhnall Gleeson (General Lux) and the late Carrie Fisher as General Leia.
While Benicio Del Toro, Laura Dern and Kelly Marie Tran are all newcomers to the franchise.
Although the plot for the next movie is a fiercely guarded secret, Johnson has revealed that the focus will be on Jedi Master Luke, and that he is the last Jedi referenced in the title.
He said: “It’s in the opening crawl of ‘The Force Awakens’.
“Luke Skywalker, right now, is the last Jedi. There’s always wiggle room in these movies – everything is from a certain point of view – but coming into our story, he is the actual last of the Jedi. And he’s removed himself and is alone on this island, for reasons unknown.”
Johnson also hinted that Han Solo’s death will play a major part in the plot.
Harrison Ford’s iconic space smuggler character was shockingly murdered by his own son Ben Solo – known as Kylo Ren – in the 2015 movie ‘The Force Awakens’, but the director says his “figurative ghost” looms large.
He said: “A figurative ghost of Han had to be present throughout this entire film.”

Benedict Cumberbatch: It’s very cool to be a Marvel superhero

OHMYGOSSIP — Benedict Cumberbatch admits it’s “very cool” to be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The 41-year-old actor stars as magical superhero Doctor Strange in the MCU and is set to reprise his role in both ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ and the upcoming ‘Avengers: Infinity War’, and Cumberbatch admits it’s an honour to be part of such a “huge” cinematic storyline which Marvel Studios have been building to for a decade.
In an interview with Digital Spy, the actor said: “It’s 10 years coming. It’s just a huge, huge amount of work, huge amount of storylines and it’s all sort of pointing to this confrontation. It’s amazing to be part of it even though I’m late to the party. It’s a very cool to be part of it.”

Darren Aronofsky ‘excited’ by Mother! opinions

OHMYGOSSIP — Darren Aronofsky is “excited” that his movie ‘Mother!’ has divided opinions.
The 48-year-old filmmaker has revealed he isn’t concerned about his new movie receiving an infamous ‘F’ rating on CinemaScore – which is the lowest rating available – as he always intended to make a “punk movie” which packs a “total punch”.
Speaking about the rating – which contrasts the critical acclaim the movie has received – Darren told 89.3 KPCC’s The Frame: “What’s interesting about that is, like, how, if you walk out of this movie, are you not going to give it an ‘F’? It’s a punch. It’s a total punch. And I realise that we were excited by that. We wanted to make a punk movie and come at you. And the reason I wanted to come is because I was very sad and I had a lot of anguish and I wanted to express it.
“Filmmaking is such a hard journey. People are constantly saying no to you. And to wake up every morning and get out of bed and to face all those no’s, you have to be willing to really believe in something. And that’s what I look for in my collaborators and what I pitched the actors I said, ‘Look, this isn’t going to be a popularity contest. We’re basically holding up a mirror to what’s going on.’ All of us are doing this.
“But that final chapter hasn’t been written and hopefully things can change. And, to go back, the fact that it’s going down right now and things are really falling apart in a way that is really scary.”
It isn’t the first time Darren has brushed of negativity surrounding his movie either, as he previously said he “doesn’t mind” that people are “upset” by the feature – which stars his girlfriend Jennifer Lawrence – because it was designed to be a “cautionary tale of what’s happening to the planet”, which he notes can be hard for audiences to accept.
He said: “It’s all good. I don’t mind people are upset by the film because it’s supposed to be a reflection and a cautionary tale of what’s happening to the planet. And it’s hard, because I’m pointing at all of us saying, ‘Look what’s going on! Let’s think about this!’ I’m also guilty, I’m not any better.”

Charlie Hunnam initially rejected role in Papillon

OHMYGOSSIP — Charlie Hunnam initially rejected the chance to star in ‘Papillon’.
The 37-year-old actor appears in the new biographical film based on the autobiography of the French convict Henri Charriere, but Charlie has admitted he was apprehensive about appearing in a remake of the 1973 movie of the same name, which starred screen icon Steve McQueen.
He explained: “So, the first time I heard about this, I was really intrigued. It was an incoming call, they said, ‘[director] Michael Noer is in town…’ They tried to tell me who he was and I said, ‘Listen, I know who he is, I’ve been a big, big fan for a long time – you’re preaching to the choir.’
“I shared what I’m sensing is a prejudice against the basic idea of remaking a classic, beloved film. And initially, I had that reaction myself. So I said, ‘No, I don’t want to engage in this.’ As much as I adored Michael, I just decided it wasn’t for me.”
But Charlie subsequently performed a U-turn on the movie, deciding it was a project he couldn’t miss out on.
In particular, the British actor was desperate to work with the movie’s director, who he’d admired for so long.
He told Collider: “They offered it to another actor, who I really respect and admire – I think he makes wonderful choices. And then I had that moment of like, ‘Oh man, I’ve really mucked up here.’ That stayed with me for a bit and it really tortured me.
“Then I watched Michael’s other films twice back-to-back and thought I really had made a mistake.”

Jeremy McConnell refuses to do community service

OHMYGOSSIP — Jeremy McConnell has risked going to prison after he allegedly refused to scrub off some graffiti as part of his community service in Cardiff.
The former ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ star is on a 12-month suspended sentence after he was found guilty of beating Stephanie Davis earlier this year, but he may have landed himself in hot water once again after he told his probation officers he won’t remove the artwork as he believes the spray-painted wall was created by famous artist Banksy.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “He has refused to scrub graffiti because he believes the artwork is a Banksy – and he’s told officials.
“A decision is yet to be made about Jeremy and how he will continue his community service going forward. He could end up in real trouble over it.”
It’s believed the 28-year-old star was ordered to undertake one of three tasks; decorating council-owned areas, working in a charity shop or removing graffiti.
The hunk reportedly chose the latter and was moved to Scotland to start his service.
A source said recently: “Jeremy has now moved to Cardiff and will start his community service next week. He’s living with ‘Make Or Break’ contestant and friend Richard Cull. They’ve been friends for a long time and Rich has help him through a difficult year.”
As well as his community service, Jeremy was also ordered to pay £1,000 in court costs, £1,000 in compensation to Stephanie and a victims surcharge of £115.
He’s also been told to stay away from Stephanie, 24, for three years and any communication regarding their nine-month-old son Caben has to be done via social services, solicitors or the family court.

Steve McFadden feels like he’s in ‘prison’ on EastEnders

OHMYGOSSIP — Steve McFadden feels like he’s in “prison” when he plays Phil Mitchell in ‘EastEnders’.
The 58-year-old actor has been playing the recovering alcohol and former bad boy on and off for 27 years and, during that time has been involved in some of the soap’s most memorable storylines, so it’s hardly surprising that he finds his alter ego tiring and has decided to take on the role of Captain Hook in a pantomime production in Plymouth.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, he said: “It takes me out of my comfort zone and allows me to break out of the prison cell that is Phil Mitchell.
“f you think about the alcoholism storyline, the crack storyline, the dying storyline, the liver failure, they don’t stop pressing the button on Phil.”
But, even though he finds some of the plots draining, he doesn’t regret joining the long-running soap and is thrilled that he’s had the chance to work with some “great actors.”
He said: “I was at drama school with Ralph Fiennes, Iain Glen, Imogen Stubbs, Cliver Owen, Paul Rhys… some great actors. The door opens on TV, you walk through it and 27 years later, you find yourself in Plymouth eating pasties.”
And Steve’s work schedule is set to get even more hectic over the next few months as his alter-ego’s former cell mate Aidan Maguire – played by Patrick Bergin – will turn up over the festive season and the pair will embark on a series of shady ventures.
The show’s executive producer John Yorke said: “‘EastEnders’ deserves the very best and in Patrick we are absolutely privileged to have a truly great actor join the show.
“It’s a huge honour to have him on board, where he’ll be working hand in hand with Phil Mitchell and Mick Carter (played by Danny Dyer) to carry a truly explosive storyline for Christmas and New Year. We can’t wait to get started.”
