Corrie’s Gemma gets posh new man

OHMYGOSSIP — Coronation Street’s Gemma Winter is set to bag herself a posh new boyfriend.
The kebab shop worker – played by Dolly-Rose Campbell – hasn’t had much luck in the love department recently but all of that is about to change for her as she will find herself falling in love with the “heir” to the Rover’s Return pub’s fortune.
Gemma is clueless to her new man’s success until she proudly parades him around the boozer and Liz McDonald (Bev Callard) recognises his face.
Liz said: “Well, you have certainly landed on your feet there, lady… Check out the beer mat. He’s Cecil Newton’s grandson. He’s beer royalty!”
An insider told the Daily Star newspaper: “Gemma is simply knocked for six by the revelation. It means he is not only handsome but he’ll be heir to the Newton and Ridley fortune.”
Meanwhile, actress Dolly previously revealed her inspiration behind the performance she puts into Gemma – admitting that some of her traits come from people she knows/
Speaking on ‘Lorraine’ last year she explained: “I think she’s [Gemma is] brilliant. I really like her. What I bring to her is based on people I know.
“Some of the things that she does, some of the way she does stuff is kind of stolen from people, but I never tell the people.”

Gordon Ramsay’s new US show

OHMYGOSSIP — Gordon Ramsay is set for a new US TV show as ’24 Hours To Hell & Back’ is lined up by Fox.
The upcoming reality programme will see the British TV chef attempt to save a failing restaurant over just a single day, as he is tasked with travelling round in a mobile kitchen to help give the businesses the boost they need to survive and thrive.
Rob Wade, Fox’s president of alternative entertainment and specials, said in a statement: “The restaurant business is one of the toughest there is – and no one knows that more than Gordon.
“Watching him try to save these businesses, not to mention restore the livelihoods of hardworking men and women, really puts the pressure on – and doing this as the clock ticks challenges him like never before.”
Ramsay will be challenged with making any changes he sees fit over just 24 hours, from re-interviewing staff and renovating the space itself, to updating the menu.
He’ll be travelling around in ‘Hell on Wheels’ – a 70-foot semi-truck converted into a state of the art mobile kitchen.
The star added: “With the clock set at 24 hours-and-ticking, I can promise you this culinary boot camp gives a whole new meaning to ‘Hell on Wheels.’ ”
Ramsay recently received his first Emmy Award nomination for ‘MasterChef Junior’, and it continues a successful pairing with FOX in the US.
As well as ‘Hell’s Kitchen’, ‘Masterchef’ and ‘Kitchen Nightmares’, he has also worked on shows like ‘The F Word’ earlier this year.

Strictly Come Dancing easily beats The X Factor in ratings war

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ attracted almost double the number of viewers as ‘The X Factor’ on Saturday night (23.09.17).
The BBC dancing show returned to TV screens over the weekend and the programme easily defeated its long-time rival on ITV in the ratings wars, achieving its highest-ever first show ratings of 10.2 million viewers.
The programmes overlapped for 45 minutes and the return of ‘Strictly’ saw ‘The X Factor’ lose 1.5 million viewers compared to the previous weekend, with 5.4 million tuning in to watch.
An insider at ‘Strictly’ told The Sun newspaper: “The figures are better than anyone had hoped for. The show is getting bigger and bigger.
“The competition with ‘The X Factor’ is well and truly won.”
‘Strictly’ returned with a show lasting 140 minutes, while it also marked the first appearance of new head judge Shirley Ballas.
The 57-year-old dancer was confirmed as the replacement for Len Goodman earlier this year and she recently admitted she “dropped to her knees” when she was given the coveted TV role.
Recalling the moment, she said: “I was at work in Los Angeles in the studio and the phone went and I excused myself from the lesson and I just dropped to my knees when the lady said we want to offer you the job. So many great people went for the lovely role … and they chose me with my credentials.”
Shirley also revealed she’s been having lessons with Len – who worked on the show for 12 years – in the run up to the series launch.
She explained: “Len, I’ve known all my life, I did some lessons with him, he’s a friend of the family, he’s knows my children. He’s just an amazing man and he’s a fan of me and I’m a fan of him.”

Danniella Westbrook: My critics make me work harder

OHMYGOSSIP — Danniella Westbrook’s critics make her “work harder”.
The former ‘EastEnders’ actress isn’t bothered by those who hate on her as they help her get up in the morning and make her “try even harder every single day”.
Speaking directly to her haters, she told The Sun newspaper: “Listen, I know you dislike me, I know you give me c**p on Twitter and Instagram and everywhere else. I don’t care, there is actually not enough letters on Twitter to write the things I want to say to you guys. “People who hate on me are making me money because you make me work harder, you’re making me get up in the morning and try even harder every single day. So you can keep hating all you want, I don’t care. I’m me, I’ve made mistakes, everybody in this world has made mistakes but I own mine and I only them publicly. So the day you can walk in my shoes is the day I can give you some respect, until then leave me alone.”
It comes after Danniella revealed she had split from her fiancé Alan Thomason after they heartbreakingly suffered a miscarriage at seven weeks.
She explained: “Me and Alan are not together at the minute, we have had an argument, we’re having a tough time of it at the minute. He’s in Benidorm, I need some time to myself right now and he’s taking it very badly.
“I need to rest, I might go away for a couple of weeks and just relax and sleep and eat. At the moment I’m happy on my own. We rushed into everything too quick.”
Asked if she wanted to try for children again, she added: “No, I don’t think I could take the heartbreak of it all. I can’t take it and I don’t think it’s good on my body. I don’t think I could try to have any more kids. I’ve got two lovely kids and Alan’s got a baby as well, he’s got a six year old. It’s not like we don’t have children.”

Ian McDiarmid doesn’t want Star Wars role recast

OHMYGOSSIP — Ian McDiarmid doesn’t want anyone else to play Emperor Palpatine in the ‘Star Wars’ franchise.
The 73-year-old actor was known for playing the villainous role in ‘The Empire Strikes Back’ and ‘Return of the Jedi’, as well as an earlier version of the character in the three prequel movies, and has admitted he wouldn’t want the role to be recast in any of the franchise’s new instalments.
Whilst Emperor Palpatine is dead in the timeline of the new trilogy, Ian noted that the character is referenced in the spin-off movie ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’, and hopes the film bosses are keeping him as a “surprise”, rather than hiring another actor to take over the role.
When asked by BBC Scotland’s ‘Timeline’ programme if he would ever consider returning to the iconic role, Ian said: “I suppose there must be a chance but I think you’d find out about it more quickly than I would. As far as the new films are concerned, I’m dead. There is no question about that. But there is what they call the anthology series and actually the most recent one, Rogue One, was about the time when I was in charge. I was referred to a few times, Darth Vader popped up, but you did not see me. Maybe they are keeping me as a surprise for later but I have no idea. Of course, I don’t want anyone else to play him.”
The anthology series is set to continue next year with the planned Han Solo spin-off movie, and it was previously reported that a movie centred around Obi-Wan Kenobi could also be in the works.
Meanwhile, the eighth instalment of the main series, ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’, is set to hit cinemas in December.

I, Tonya gets December release date

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘I, Tonya’ has been given a December release date.
The biopic – which is based on the life of disgraced Olympic figure skater Tonya Harding and stars Margot Robbie in the titular role – will hit cinema screens on December 8 according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The publication reports that the decision to release the movie in December came as it would mean the feature will qualify for next year’s award season, after receiving acclaim when it premiered earlier this month at Toronto International Film Festival.
‘I, Tonya’ follows the story of Tonya Harding, who pleaded guilty to hindering the prosecution following an attack on her rival Nancy Kerrigan in 1994, and Australian actress Margot admitted she didn’t know the story was true when she took on the role.
Margot – who also worked as a producer on the feature – said: “I didn’t realise it was a true story.
“I thought it was complete fiction, just a wacky story. And then I found out it was all true and I was even more fascinated.”
Meanwhile, 27-year-old Margot recently revealed she got carried away during filming and ended up punching her co-star Sebastian Stan in the head.
The blonde beauty admitted the fight scene became so intense, it was ultimately cut it from the finished movie.
Sat alongside her co-star, Margot said: “Craig kind of on the day was like, ‘Just do whatever in the moment,’ and we got so carried away that I genuinely forgot that we were on a film set and that I wasn’t Tonya and that he wasn’t Jeff Gillooly.
“We got into, like a brawl. He slams my hand into the door. And I ended up storming off down the street, which was, like, the end of set, so I was just on the road in the real world.
“And [Stan was] coming after me, screaming, ‘Where are you going?’ I think you even said, ‘Margot,’ and I said, ‘I’m going to the hospital because you broke my hand!’ And I was so caught up in it and I think I punched you in the side of the head!
“That ended up being my favourite scene because I forgot that I was acting, and nothing makes more exhilarated when I genuinely forget where I am.”

Seann William Scott didn’t plan comedy career

OHMYGOSSIP — Seann William Scott never wanted to do comedy films.
The 40-year-old actor shot to fame as Steven Stifler in the hit ‘American Pie’ franchise and since the first movie was released back in 1999, Scott has starred in a number of successful movies but claims he never thought about doing comedies.
Speaking to Total Film magazine, the actor said: “I’m actually starting a movie, ‘Green Dolphin’, though that’s my first drama.
“When I first moved to LA to be an actor it never occurred to me to do comedies. I didn’t even really watch comedies.
“I grew up watching Hal Ashby movies and Kubrick and, just dark s**t. And then I did 50 ‘American Pie’ movies.”
Although he admitted he never really wanted to get into comedies, the actor said his career is “pretty incredible”.
He said: “I feel like I’ve won the lottery. I’m a huge film fan, so the fact that I’ve been able to have a career making films is pretty incredible.
“I felt like the luckiest kid in the world on ‘American Pie’, and every movie I’ve done since I’ve gotten luckier.”
The ‘American Pie’ franchise spawned six other movies, including four straight-to-DVD spin-offs, and the character of Stifler became a fan favourite.
Since starring in ‘American Pie’, Scott went on to star in the hit movie ‘Goon’ and although he was playing a hockey player, the actor admitted he “can’t really play” the sport and it’s caused him problems.
He said: “I got to play a tough guy in ‘Goon; but I’m a bit of a bitch in real life.
“I can’t really play hockey either actually. I think it worked for the first movie, playing a character who wasn’t very good, but I’m struggling in the sequel man. I couldn’t have gotten any worse.”

Charlotte Hawkins wants to show ‘more leg’ on Strictly Come Dancing

OHMYGOSSIP — Charlotte Hawkins has joked she’ll need to show “more leg” to distract people from her dancing on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 42-year-old newsreader is taking part in the BBC Latin and ballroom dance competition this year, and although her performance with partner Brendan Cole on Saturday (23.09.17) earned her a respectable 22 points, she thinks she’ll need to take drastic measures to stop people focusing on her moves.
She joked: “The worse my dancing gets, the more leg I’ll have to show to distract everybody. I’m probably going to shock myself. I suspect a lot of people will be shocked too. But you have to throw yourself into it.”
And the ‘Good Morning Britain’ presenter has admitted she needs to “step into character” and gout out of her “comfort zone” in order to make her dances believable.
She added: “I can’t go on that stage as Charlotte the newsreader or Charlotte the mum. I have to pretend to be Charlotte Hawkins the dancer. I have to step into character. I have to step out of my comfort zone.”
Charlotte has also been teased about her dresses by fellow newsreaders Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid, but she has admitted she doesn’t mind how short the numbers get, because she’ll be “the fittest [she’s] ever been” thanks to all the dancing.
She told The Sun newspaper: “I’ve been told you often start off saying, ‘I’ll just have the dresses down to the knee’. Then the next week it’s up to the thigh and the next week it’s, ‘Oh, maybe we’ll just go a bit shorter still’. Susanna and Piers are already teasing me about how short the dresses will get. Thank goodness, with all the dancing, I’m gonna be the fittest I’ve ever been.”

Nick Knowles to launch music career

OHMYGOSSIP — Nick Knowles is recording an album.
The ‘DIY SOS’ presenter has decided to put down the power tools and pick up the microphone, as he revealed he’s pursuing a music career after being approached by Universal Music earlier this year.
He said: “Music’s always been a major part of my life since I was 14 and picked up a guitar. I’m the kind of person who gets home from work and picks up the guitar and strums a lot. It’s always been part of my life and a friend of mine said to me one day ‘Why don’t you do an album?’ So he connected me up to Universal, we did a couple of test tracks and they came back and said: ‘Would you like to make an album’. It’s been really exciting.”
The album is expected to be released in time for Christmas, and the 55-year-old ‘Who Dares Wins’ host says the record will be full of his favourite covers, and takes influence from music legends such as Bob Dylan and Cat Stevens.
He added: “The songs that you find on the album are songs that I’ve been playing for ten, 15, 20 years. It’s influenced by guitar players like Bob Dylan, Cat Stevens, people like that. And then in the modern day similar guitar players like Ed Sheeran and Newton Faulkner.”
Nick has high expectations for the album too, as he’s even compared his unique “deep voice” to that of chart-topping singer George Ezra.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, he said: “I think it really stands its ground as an album and there are some really beautiful songs. I’m not trying to be Justin Bieber. But by the same token, there aren’t very many singers in Britain that sing with a deep voice. I think there’s a market for that. Probably the only artist that’s got a deep voice that’s appeared is George Ezra in the last few years.”

Marnie Simpson ‘made’ Casey Johnson get Botox

OHMYGOSSIP — Marnie Simpson “made” Casey Johnson have Botox injections.
The ‘Geordie Shore’ star has undergone a number of cosmetic procedures ahead of the new series of the show, and she also suggested her 22-year-old singer boyfriend had the wrinkle-smoothing treatments at the same time.
She said: “I’m back on ‘Geordie Shore’. I’ll miss Casey but we’re strong enough to get through it. Before coming into the house, I got my teeth whitened and had gum contouring done, which is where they cut your gums to make your teeth level and improve your smile.
“I also got some lip filler injected and made Casey get Botox. I’m transforming him.”
The 25-year-old brunette has also been making cosmetic recommendations to her friend Chloe Ferry too.
She said: “My mate Chloe Ferry has been telling me how unhappy she is with her nose. I’d usually advise her against more surgery, but it’s getting her down so I’m going to help her find the right surgeon to fix it.
“The first time she had a nose job, she didn’t explain what she wanted properly. I’ll go along and help her this time.”
As well as transforming her appearance, Marnie also wants to see a dialect coach to neutralise her Geordie tones.
She wrote in her column for stat magazine: “I sympathise with Mark Wright getting elocution lessons to soften his Essex accent. IF he wants a career in the US, he needs to be better spoken. The Essex accent is too strong and you’re not taken seriously. I have the same problem with my Geordie accent. I’d love some elocution lessons.”

Matt Lucas used sex to cope with ex-husband’s death

OHMYGOSSIP — Matt Lucas had “lots of sex” to cope with the death of his ex-husband.
The 43-year-old comedic actor was devastated when his former husband Kevin McGee – whom he was married to for two years before their divorce in 2008 – took his own life at the age of 32 in 2009.
And the ‘Little Britain’ actor has now revealed he tried to “distract himself” from the tragedy by sleeping with various men he met online, as he thought it was better than turning to drink or drugs to help him cope.
He said: “I think people respond in all different ways to grief. I thought I was very conscientious going to a bereavement counsellor and not turning to drink, which I hardly ever do – I probably have six units a year. I’m not going to start smoking again, I’m not going to do drugs.
“But I ended up eating lots and having lots of sex. That was how I responded. As much as anything I was trying to distract myself.”
The ‘Doctor Who’ actor stayed in the UK for three years after Kevin’s tragic death, but decided to move to California in 2012, in an attempt to “build a new life” for himself.
Speaking to the Sunday Times newspaper, Matt said: “I wanted to build a new life. The first thing [they say] when something as terrible as that happens is not to do anything radical. Don’t immediately sell your house when someone dies, don’t get a new job. But enough time had gone by for me to think now was the time to move on. I thought I had to go somewhere warm, so I went to California.”

Olivia Attwood wants I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! spot

OHMYGOSSIP — Olivia Attwood is reportedly hoping to land a spot on this year’s ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’
The former ‘Love Island’ contestant is believed to be eyeing up a place in the jungle for this year’s ITV reality show, but sources say she could be facing some fierce competition as her former co-stars Gabby Allen and Camilla Thurlow are also said to be in the running for the line-up.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “All three of the girls would love to appear on the show, and they would definitely add some glamour to the camp. The question is – who will finish on top?”
Although the show – which is presented by popular duo Ant and Dec – isn’t far away from returning to our screens, not much is known about the upcoming series, although it has been rumoured that Gemma Collins could be set to return after her failed stint in 2014, which saw her withdraw from the competition after just three days in the wilderness.
Meanwhile, former Saturdays singer Frankie Bridge has said she’d liked to compete in the series after being impressed by how well her husband Wayne Bridge did when he took part last year.
She said: “I think now Wayne’s done it and he loved it and he said he would do it again, it kind of makes me feel positive that I would enjoy it.”
However, the 28-year-old beauty has admitted, although she’d like to give the challenging Bushtucker Trials a go, she would definitely “wimp” out when it came to eating kangaroo penis because she can’t even put ketchup in her mouth.
She explained: “I would be so scared, I’m such a wimp, if I did it, it would be purely to test myself. The worst possible thing for me would be to eat something weird because like I can’t even eat ketchup so for me to eat some sort of kangaroo willy or the juice drink thing, I don’t know if I could do it.”

Ruth Langsford ends up bottom of the Strictly Come Dancing leaderboard

OHMYGOSSIP — Ruth Langsford and Anton du Beke ended up bottom of the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ leaderboard as the show returned to screens on Saturday (23.09.17).
The ‘This Morning’ presenter suffered from first night nerves as she and her professional partner took to the dancefloor on the BBC One latin and ballroom show.
Whilst their waltz featured a few hiccups, Bruno did call it “a picture of loveliness and beautifulness”.
Joint bottom of the leaderboard was Brian Conley and Amy Dowden, who tangoed their way to 16 points, landing them just behind Reverend Richard Coles, who arrived on the dancefloor on top of a cloud whilst playing the harp.
When asked for his comments, Craig said: “All the problems really began darling when the cloud actually landed.” And when asked if there was anything else he wanted to say, he added: “There isn’t enough time darling.”
However, it was Aston Merrygold who topped the leaderboard, impressing with an untraditional foxtrot to ‘It Had To Be You’ and was labelled “one to watch” by the judges – Craig Revel Horwood, Bruno Tonioli, Darcey Bussell and head judge Shirley Ballas.
Darcey told Aston and his partner Janette Manrara: “Craig is right – you’re one to watch!”
Following closely behind Aston’s 31 points was Debbie McGee and Giovanni Pernice, who wowed with a passionate and fiery paso doble. During the dance, Debbie pulled off some spectacular moves, prompting Craig to say: “Whatever Giovanni has done to you is working because you’re dancing like a 20-year-old.”
Joe McFadden and Katya Jones impressed with their car wash-themed jive.
Shirley told them: “I thought you did amazing.”
Whilst Bruno added: “You bought a good polish and shine to this dance. You have a lot to live up to because this was a great first dance.”
Davood Ghadami and Nadiya Bychkov’s Cha Cha Cha and Alexandra Burke and Gorka Marquez’s waltz to ‘(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman’ earned them fourth and fifth place on the leaderboard with 27 and 24 points respectively.
Alexandra – who tragically lost her mother only days before ‘Strictly’ kicked off – was visibly upset as she received great comments from the judges.
Craig told her: “Your arms are so expressive and you have a great feel for the music and this dance.”
Mollie King and her partner AJ Pritchard danced an impressive jive to ‘Good Golly Miss Molly’ whilst Charlotte Hawkins and Brendan Cole showed off their traditional foxtrot, earning them a respectable 22 points.
‘Strictly Come Dancing’ returns next Saturday (30.09.17).

Alicia Vikander still shocked by Oscars win

OHMYGOSSIP — Alicia Vikander still can’t believe she won an Academy Award.
The 28-year-old actress picked up a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her role in ‘The Danish Girl’ in 2016 and Alicia admitted it still feels strange when people call her an “Oscar-winning actress”.
According to Variety, she explained: “It still feels very new to me to hear those words. I grew up in a small town in Sweden and watched the Oscars at 2am with mom every year, it was a window to a different universe.”
Alicia also spoke about the gender divide in Hollywood, insisting that she believes it is getting better.
She said: “I remember when ‘The Hunger Games,’ came out and you saw a female actress take centre stage and prove it could be a good film, but also a huge commercial success.
“Over the last few years, the awareness of the lack of balance has made people think differently and open their eyes to look for opportunity for everyone. Like with all these big subjects, I’m positive. I think there is progress and that it continues.”
Meanwhile, Alicia – whose career combines big budget movies alongside smaller indie flicks – recently admitted she finds it “hard” making independent films.
The actress stars and helped to produce the upcoming movie ‘Euphoria’, with the backing of her eponymous production company Vikarious Productions, and though the star was “so excited” to work with director Lisa Langseth on the creative side of the production she found the movie making process difficult as the pair spent one year preparing for the project.
She said: “Lisa and I sat down at a lovely lunch to catch up, and I had already for two or three years about maybe starting a production company one day with my business partner [Charles Collier]. I wanted to be part of the process as early as possible. Lisa mentioned that she was working on this story, and I really, really wanted to work with her again.
“We were both extremely excited to start because it was a year of a lot of [prep] work, a lot of late, late nights and phone calls. Suddenly, we were on set and we’re able to work together again after a beautiful seven-year pause. We’ve both gathered a lot more experience and have even more to work with, because as a filmmaker or an actor, our tools are really our experiences.”

Ryan Gosling ‘forgotten’ by Emma Stone

OHMYGOSSIP — Ryan Gosling worries Emma Stone has “forgotten” him.
The 36-year-old actor has worked with his friend on three movies, ‘Gangster Squad’, ‘Crazy Stupid Love’ and ‘La La Land’ and though he’d love to make another film with her, he joked he isn’t sure she’d be so keen after her role in the musical swept her away to awards success earlier this year.
Asked if they’re planning a fourth collaboration, he joked: “If she’ll have me. I hope. She’s a busy person. She’s probably forgotten all about me.
“I was so happy for her [when she won an Oscar] but I already knew she’s the best.”
The ‘Blade Runner 2049’ star will next reteam with his ‘La La Land’ director Damien Chazelle on ‘First Man’, which is about astronaut Neil Armstrong, the first man on the moon, and he can’t wait to get started.
He told heat magazine: “I’m excited for that. It’s funny because that’s why there was an initial dialogue between Damien and myself – that’s what we were focusing on first, and then ‘La La Land’ distracted us very nicely.
“It’s a nice way to begin the working relationship – a film like that with so much charisma and pure joy and the new film is Damien’s very unique vision of Neil Armstrong’s story.”
But before that, Ryan can next be seen in ‘Blade Runner 2049’ and he joked movie bosses have taken great measures to ensure he keeps plot details secret.
He quipped: “A sniper has been following me around it’s proven rather inconvenient in my day-to-day.
“They might have also put a chip in my head that may go off at any moment. So I’ve learned to be careful.”

Martin Scorsese launches online film course

OHMYGOSSIP — Martin Scorsese is launching an online course in movie-making.
The legendary director – whose movies include ‘Goodfellas,’ ‘Raging Bull,’ ‘Taxi Driver,’ ‘Casino,’ ‘Cape Fear,’ ‘The Aviator’ and ‘The Wolf of Wall Street – has joined forces with online-education startup MasterClass for the new class, which will begin in 2018.
Students will pay $90 for unlimited access to over 20 video classes in which Scorsese will lecture on filmmaking and provide select feedback.
According to the MasterClass website’s FAQ’s: “We do not guarantee critiques from Martin. Periodically, we may have opportunities for students to submit work to Martin. As those opportunities arise students will be notified and given directions on how to submit their work.”
Students will also receive a downloadable class workbook, which will give students lesson recaps and downloadable materials.
A message on the MasterClass website states: “Martin Scorsese drew his first storyboard when he was eight. Today he’s a legendary director whose films – from ‘Mean Streets’ to ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ – have shaped movie history. In his first-ever online class, the Oscar winner teaches his approach to filmmaking, from storytelling to editing to working with actors. He deconstructs films and breaks down his craft, changing how you make – and watch – movies.”
And Martin said: “I was excited by this project because it gave me a chance to pass down my own inspirations and experiences and practices and evolutions, not as a blueprint for how to make movies but as a guidepost, an offering to young people attempting to find their own way.”
