Reverend Richard Coles gets filthy messages from Strictly Come Dancing contestants

OHMYGOSSIP — Reverend Richard Coles has revealed one of his ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ competitors has been bombarding the group chat with “filthy” messages.
The openly gay Church of England priest got over excited when he found out that he and his professional dance partner Dianne Buswell were being added to the Whatsapp group, but was stunned when he kept getting X-rated texts ping through.
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper: “All the celebrities and the dancers have formed a ‘Strictly’ WhatsApp group. But there is one person who likes to post filthy innuendos. I cannot say who it is. I’m good at keeping secrets. There are two WhatsApp groups. The official ‘Strictly’ one and an unofficial one. That’s the naughty one. Do we talk about the judges too? We may occasionally pass comment on them.”
The reverend became a fan favourite after dancing the cha cha cha with Dianne last Saturday (23.09.17) but has admitted it’s now put even more pressure on him.
He said: “I’m flattered. One Saturday I want to come up through the floor playing ‘Lord Of The Dance’ on a large cinema organ but I don’t think the technology exists.”
This week, Richard will be dancing the American Smooth and said they are “telling a story” about a romantic relationship.
He explained: “We’re telling a story about a deeply romantic relationship.
“She’s an Australian dancer and I’m a country parson – Beauty and the Priest.”
Before making his ‘Strictly’ debut this month, Richard confessed he lied about having the incurable HIV virus for five years because he loved the attention he got.
His deceit started after he got into a heated argument with band mate Jimmy Somerville following a gig in Switzerland, around the time he fell ill with the shingles, and, although his blood results came back as negative, he claimed he was HIV positive because he wanted his friend to “get off his back.”

Luke Pasqualino praises ‘beautiful’ Michelle Keegan

OHMYGOSSIP — Luke Pasqualino thinks Michelle Keegan is “beautiful and lovely inside and out.”
The ‘Our Girl’ hunk – who plays the brunette beauty’s on-screen on/off boyfriend Elvis Harte – has thoroughly enjoyed working with the 30-year-old actress over the past two series of the war drama because she’s so “talented” and “hilarious.”
Speaking to the BBC, he said: “Michelle’s great. She’s absolutely great. She’s incredibly professional, she’s very very talented – she’s very open to playing around with the scene, always trying to enhance the scene in any way that we can.
“And she’s brilliant – she’s so easy to work with, she’s got such a great energy, which really helps. Working with Michelle is amazing – she’s hilarious.
“How could anyone not get on with Michelle? She’s beautiful and lovely inside and out, and Michelle has really taken the show to new levels.”
The third series will hit television screens on October 10 – almost a year after the second instalment concluded – and, although not much is known about the storyline, the 27-year-old actor has teased that it will see Elvis try to win back Lance Corporal Georgie Lane (Michelle), while they’re deployed on three missions together.
He explained: “She [Georgie] obviously still has her guard up and that frustrates Elvis, to know that there’s little he can say or do to win her back, but that doesn’t stop him from trying! I do respect him for that.”
The last series saw Georgie jilt her fiance Dr Jamie Cole (Royce Pierreson) at the altar when she realised she was still in love with her former flame Elvis – who is part of the Special Forces – after he saved her life when she was helped captive by the Taliban.
Although the pair didn’t get back together after their romantic moment back in Manchester, fans are no doubt hoping that there’s a happy ending for them this time.

Snoop Dogg’s dad is friends with Montana Brown

OHMYGOSSIP — Snoop Dogg’s father told Montana Brown she’s like a “daughter to him.”
The ‘Love Island’ star sparked rumours she was dating the 45-year-old rapper’s son Cordell, 20, when they were spotted getting cosy in a club in Los Angeles last month but, although she doesn’t think anything will happen between them in the future, she managed to strike up a close bond with the ‘Drop It Like It’s Hot’ hitmaker’s dad, Papa Snoop.
Speaking to The Sun Online, she said: “I don’t think anything’s gonna happen between us [her and Cordell] unfortunately but a girl can only wish.
“I met Snoop Dogg’s dad as well, Papa Snoop, and he was like, ‘You know, you’re like a daughter to me.’ And I was like, ‘Yes I will be quite soon… hopefully.’ ”
The 22-year-old beauty shot into the limelight over the summer months when she took part in the reality TV show in Majorca, Spain, and hit the headlines for parading her plump backside and killer abs in front of the cameras while inside the sun-soaked villa.
However, Montana – who now wears a tiny size six – has admitted there’s no way she could’ve signed up to show in 2016 because she wasn’t confident with her size 10 body.
Speaking to The Sun Online, Montana said: “I wouldn’t say I was big, but it’s about being confident in yourself and the way you look and I wasn’t confident about the way I looked. I definitely wouldn’t have gone on Love Island, as in that environment if you do have an insecurity or are not fully confident in yourself it exacerbates it, so I don’t think I could have done it. And then there would have been no underboob bikini!”
The brunette beauty spent a whole year working on her physique and now feels like she can wear anything she wants because her body is suited to most flesh-flashing styles.
She explained: “It just makes me not care about getting in a bikini and it does make a difference to my self-esteem as I can wear more.
“Before I toned up I would never wear shorts and crop top or anything, it would be straight up no, as I felt bulky around my stomach. It’s so nice to be able to buy what I want and not worry whether about whether or not it will suit me.”

Ross Kemp has twin daughters

OHMYGOSSIP — Ross Kemp has named his newborn twin daughters Ava and Kitty.
The 53-year-old actor announced yesterday (28.09.17) that he had become a father for the third time after his wife Renee O’Brien gave birth and, although he likes to keep details of his family life close to his chest, he has revealed their sweet monikers.
Taking to his Instagram account last night, the former ‘EastEnders’ star uploaded a photograph of Renee with the newborns and accompanied it with the caption: “Mum, Ava and Kitty doing well! Dad overjoyed. Thanks to all at the hospital! (sic).”
Ross shared his happy news with the world on social media just a few hours after the birth but he didn’t reveal at the time that the pair had welcomed twins.
He said: “BIG THANKS to Lawrence Impey and his team. Very happy Dad again!”
The girls join Ross and Renee’s other son, who was born in 2015.
The investigative journalist also has a boy with his ex-partner Nicola Coleman.
Meanwhile, Ross’ happy news comes just months after Sky decided to axe his ‘Extreme World’ series, which saw him document homelessness, drug addiction, violence and poverty around the world, after six years on screen.
A spokesperson for the channel said previously: “Our focus for Sky1 this year is offering customers even more great drama, comedy and factual entertainment. Going forward we are shifting away from commissioning factual shows on the channel, and ‘Ross Kemp’s Extreme World’ will be coming to an end after its upcoming series.”
Although Ross was hoping to bag himself another series next year, he’s not completely disheartened as bosses have promised him something exciting in the future.
And that’s not the only door that has opened up for the actor as he’s also hoping to reprise his role as bad boy Grant Mitchell in ‘EastEnders’ sometime this year.
Ross has appeared in the programme on and off since 1990 and saw his hard man alter ego go back to Albert Square temporarily last year when his on-screen mother Peggy (Dame Barbara Windsor) passed away following a lengthy cancer battle.

Corrie’s Robert Preston to get testicular cancer

OHMYGOSSIP — Coronation Street’s Robert Preston will be diagnosed with testicular cancer.
The bistro manager – portrayed by Tristan Gemmill – is currently behind bars for attacking his old friend Richard ‘Rich’ Collis (Fraser Ayres), but things are set to go from bad to worse for the hunk this autumn as he will get a shocking diagnosis.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “This is going to be a big storyline for Robert which is likely to have ‘Coronation Street’ fans hooked for weeks.”
The forthcoming scenes will see Robert’s girlfriend Michelle McDonald (Kym Marsh) encourage him to undergo life-saving surgery by having his testicle removed but, although she thinks she’s supporting him, the testing time may drive them apart.
The soap insider explained to the publication: “It will really test his relationship with Michelle as she tries to offer him support in his darkest hour. But the big question is whether he’s willing to accept her help and save himself.”
The couple – who got together after Michelle found out her husband Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) had fathered a child by someone else – have been struck blow after blow this year as the barmaid was being stalked by her ex-boyfriend Will Chatterton ( Leon Ockenden), who is now in prison for his crime, after his return to the cobbles.
Michelle was also forced to give birth to a stillborn earlier this year but, despite the tear-jerking storylines she’s been dished out, Kym – who has been on the show 10 years –
thinks her last 12 months on ‘Coronation Street’ have been the “best” she’s ever had.
She said recently: “It’s been great. I’ve been giving some great opportunities.
“This is my best twelve months on ‘Coronation Street’. Michelle has no clue (of who her stalker is). He’s now dating Maria. Imagine how shocked she’s going to be.”

Aston Merrygold ‘mortified’ after dropping Janette Manrara

OHMYGOSSIP — Aston Merrygold was left “mortified” after dropping Janette Manrara head-first during ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ rehearsals.
The former JLS singer “couldn’t stop apologising” after one particularly ambitious part of their training session for this weekend’s salsa dance went “horribly wrong” and the professional dancer ended up on the floor.
A source said: “It was really nasty. Aston was lifting Janette but it went horribly wrong.
“It left her shaken and she had to be checked over by the team. Fortunately, it looks like she’s fine, which is a big relief.
“But it’s a confidence knock for them. Aston was mortified. He couldn’t stop apologising.”
Despite the slight mishap, Janette is confident Aston will get it right on Saturday night (30.09.17) when they perform the salsa to the tune of Luis Fonsi’s hit song of the summer ‘Despacito’.
The source said: “Janette was very gracious and doesn’t want it to impact him.
“She still trusts him to get the lift right when it really counts on Saturday night.
“Janette has told Aston she believes he can do it but it comes with a significant risk.
“He could very easily kick her in the head in another move they’re planning.
“But they are determined to finish top again.”
Aston is the current bookmakers’ favourite to win this year’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ and some believe the pair feel “under pressure” to wow the judges with a complex routine.
The source added to The Sun newspaper: “They obviously feel under pressure to live up to their early success and that has led to them coming up with an incredibly ambitious routine.
“But it is dangerous and a lot can go wrong.”
After performing with Janette on TV for the first time last week, Aston paid tribute to her on his Instagram account, and admitted he had “so much fun”.
He wrote: “Thanks so much for all the support and messages!! Last was amazing but the last couple weeks this lady has busted her arse to make me look comfortable doing ballroom! Thanks to my homie, teacher and dance partner for giving #teamMNM an amazing start to @bbcstrictly ’17!!!! Honestly had so much fun and can’t wait for this coming week and next sat! (sic)”

Holly Willoughby felt judged for blonde hair

OHMYGOSSIP — Holly Willoughby felt “massively judged” for her blonde hair.
The ‘This Morning’ presenter admits she had “a lot of negative comments” when she started out in television but learned to “accept” herself for who she is.
She said: “I think when I started out I did because a lot of people look at the blonde hair and this and that and the other and have a massive judgement on you. When I first started in telly, I had a lot of negative comments about myself but then I suddenly realised I couldn’t be anyone else and actually the bits where I mess up or I’m just me seem to be the things that work. And I think when you do so much of it, you can only be you. And when you accept that then that just makes things easier.”
And the 36-year-old television presenter loves being a working mother to three children – Harry, eight, Belle, six, and Chester two.
Speaking on ITV’s ‘The Jonathan Ross Show’, she added: “I love babies. I don’t like the thought of it ever being over. But I don’t think that’s a reason to have another one, if I was lucky enough to have another one. Three is a really good number …
“I’m a working mum, I’m very busy and my children are the most important thing and I think the balance is really right. We were waiting for Chester to come along. As soon as he came along, everything felt perfect.”
It comes after Holly revealed she loves being pregnant.
She said: “I hate saying no to that question because I hate it being over. I love being pregnant, I loved giving birth weirdly, I loved all of that. So the thought of it being over – it’s like not being able to wear a wedding dress again. Maybe one day but we’re very happy as we are. Our life feels complete.”

Baroness Karren Brady snubs reality TV

OHMYGOSSIP — Baroness Karren Brady would rather “eat her own eyeballs” than take part in a reality TV show.
The ‘Apprentice’ star insists she prefers a quiet life with husband Paul Peschisolido and their children Sophia, 21, and Paulo, 19, and would rather stay at home than get involved in the showbiz world.
She said: “I’m very normal. You won’t see any of us appearing on reality TV – I’d rather eat my own eyeballs.”
However, Karren loves every part of working alongside Lord Alan Sugar and his other adviser, Claude Littner, on the business-based contest.
She said: “I like every aspect of doing ‘The Apprentice’. Alan sets the tasks in some of the most fabulous locations.
“We get access to some really interesting places, though you’re running from one place to the next and it’s always exhausting.
“There’s a lot of dashing around and, yes, you will see my trainers on screen – I’ve given up wearing high heels.”
But the West Ham United CEO admits the filming schedule can be tough and it isn’t particularly glamorous.
She added to Closer magazine: “It’s a bit of an endurance test but I get on with it.
“Our days are very long and I start out with good intentions, thinking, ‘I’m going to get up early and do my hair’, but it doesn’t turn out like that.
“I don’t have a make-up person following me around, not at all.”

Hocus Pocus 2 in the works

OHMYGOSSIP — The Disney Channel is reportedly working on a sequel to ‘Hocus Pocus’.
Deadline claim the sequel will be a reimagining of the 1993 cult classic which starred Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy, and is currently in early stages of development but will be a TV movie.
‘The Royals’ screenwriter Scarlett Lacey is on board to pen the new script with David Kirschner – who produced the original movie – is back as executive producer.
Although not much else is known at this point, the new movie will have a brand new cast with ‘High School Musical’ director Kenny Ortega helming the anticipated sequel.
The original movie, which became a cult classic, was written by Neil Cuthbert and Mick Garris and was based around a story written by Garris and Kirschner.
‘Hocus Pocus’ follows three villainous witches (Midler, Parker and Najimy) who are accidentally resurrected in Salem and wreak havoc on the small town.
It falls upon Max Dennison (Omri Katz), his sister Dani (Thora Birch) and their friend Allison (Vinessa Shaw) along with an immortal, talking cat to steal the witches’ spell book to stop them from becoming immortal.
Rumours swirled that a second ‘Hocus Pocus’ is in the works after Midler dressed up as her iconic red-haired witch Winifred Sanderson at her Annual Hulaween Bash in New York last year.
But co-star Parker squashed fans’ hopes and said it was purely the 71-year-old actress having a bit of fun.
She told ET Canada: “She’s just stirring up a trouble! That’s all she’s doing.”
Parker, 52, also admitted she would love to reprise two of her iconic roles – Carrie Bradshaw from ‘Sex and the City’ and Sarah Sanderson from ‘Hocus Pocus’.
She said last year: “I’m down for both! It would be amazing if we could do both in one year.”

James Norton isn’t holding out for James Bond role

OHMYGOSSIP — James Norton isn’t “holding out” hope to be the next James Bond.
The 32-year-old actor was one of the many names in the running to replace Daniel Craig as the next 007, but Norton – who is best known for starring in British TV series ‘Broadchurch’ and ‘Happy Valley’ – isn’t thinking about the possibility of portraying the iconic spy and is instead focusing on accepting other work.
In an interview with MrPorter.com, Norton said: “It’s nice to be in that conversation. But I’m certainly not saying no to stuff because I’m holding out for that.”
Norton has been rumoured to be up for the role along with Idris Elba, Tom Hiddleston, Aidan Turner, Tom Hardy and Damian Lewis but Craig recently confirmed he will be back as the secret agent one last time in what will be his fifth outing.
When asked on ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’ if he would be playing Bond again, he replied: “Yes. I couldn’t be happier. I’ve been quite cagey about it. I’ve been doing interviews about it all day and people have been asking me and I’ve been kind of coy but I kind of felt like, if I was going to speak the truth, I should speak the truth to you.”
The 49-year-old actor – who has played Bond in ‘Casino Royale’, ‘Quantum of Solace’, ‘Skyfall’ and ‘Spectre’ – “always wanted to return” to the role, but he will hang up his tuxedo after Bond 25.
The next Bond film will be released in November 2019.

Voice recordings begin on Frozen 2

OHMYGOSSIP — Josh Gad has revealed that voice recordings have begun on ‘Frozen 2’.
The 36-year-old actor voiced magical snowman Olaf in the hit 2013 Disney animation – which also starred Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell and Jonathan Groff – and he has informed fans that the team have started working on the sequel.
Taking to Instagram, the actor shared a picture of some of the cast and wrote: “Nothing is more exciting than getting back in the booth with this incredible team. Chris Buck, Jennifer Lee, Peter Del Vecho, Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Bobby Lopez along with John Lasseter and the amazing people at @disneyanimation have created a story that carries on the incredible legacy of the original #Frozen and continues to build and expand on the characters and themes in new and exciting ways.
“Unfortunately, that’s all I can I tell you right now. But, rest assured #Frozen2 is on the way and damn is it going to be special. 11.27.19. (sic)”
The first movie was inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tale ‘The Snow Queen’ and follows the story of a fearless Princess Anna (Bell) who sets off on a journey alongside iceman Kristoff (Groff) and his pet reindeer to rescue her sister Elsa (Menzel), whose icy powers have left the kingdom trapped in an eternal winter.
In March 2015, the sequel was announced with Buck and Lee returning as directors and Peter Del Vecho returning as producer.
It is not yet known what the plot of the movie will be but Menzel – who voices Elsa – is backing a campaign to give Elsa a girlfriend.
She said: “I think it’s great. Disney’s just gotta contend with that. I’ll let them figure that out. No matter what, Elsa changed my life.”

Michelle Williams joins Spider-Man spin-off movie

OHMYGOSSIP — Michelle Williams has joined the cast of the ‘Venom’ movie.
The 37-year-old actress has been announced as the latest star to join the Sony ‘Spider-Man’ spin-off about the webslinger’s arch nemesis, The Hollywood Reporter has claimed.
Although at the time of reporting, Williams’ role has not been revealed but joins fellow actors Riz Ahmed and Tom Hardy – who is to star in the titular role.
In May, Hardy was announced to play the villain on Twitter by Sony Pictures and will be part of Sony’s Marvel Universe – which exists outside of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The tweet, along with a picture of 40-year-old Hardy wearing a Venom T-shirt, read: “Tom Hardy is Eddie Brock in #Venom, the upcoming film from Sony’s Marvel Universe releasing October 5, 2018 – production starts this fall. (sic)”
‘Zombieland’ and ‘Gangster Squad’ director Ruben Fleischer is on board to direct the British actor who will play Eddie Brock – the first character to become the alien symbiote – and the script has been penned by ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’ writers Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner.
‘Venom’ marks the first time a Spider-Man villain will be getting their own standalone movie but the character did appear in Sam Raimi’s ‘Spider-Man 3’ which he was played by Topher Grace.
The symbiote, created by David Michelinie and artists Todd McFarlane and Mick Zeck, was first introduced in the comic books back in 1988 and is still a fan favourite villain and has appeared in other Marvel Comics including Iron Man, Deadpool and the Hulk.
Sony had planned to release a ‘Sinister Six’ movie featuring Venom but made the decision to start off with a Venom adventure.
Sony and Marvel Studios reached a deal in February 2015 to allow Spider-Man – a character to which Sony bought the rights to – to be introduced into the MCU, with Tom Holland cast in the role and appearing as Spidey in a cameo capacity in ‘Captain America: Civil War’.
Holland, 20, made his first feature-length outing as the wall crawler in ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’, a movie which resulted in profit for Sony rather than Disney owned Marvel.

Denis Villeneuve in talks to direct Cleopatra

OHMYGOSSIP — Denis Villeneuve is in talks to direct ‘Cleopatra’.
The ‘Blade Runner 2049’ helmer is said to be in discussions with Sony about making the epic movie about the Egyptian queen – one of the most complex heroines in history – based on Stacy Schiff’s biography ‘Cleopatra: A Life’.
According to Deadline, Villeneuve is the frontrunner to direct the motion picture, despite the likes of James Cameron, Paul Greengrass and David Fincher all being talked about previously.
Angelina Jolie has long been linked with the titular role, but it is not known if she has definitely signed up for the project.
Earlier this month, the star admitted she was in talks but “hadn’t committed” to the part.
She said: “‘Cleopatra’, there is a script. There’s a lot of different things floating around. But I haven’t committed.”
Scott Rudin and Amy Pascal are set to produce the movie and they have previously been involved in some controversy regarding the ‘Tomb Raider’ star.
Pascal stepped down as Sony Pictures Entertainment co-chairwoman in 2015 after some of her emails were leaked online, including one about Jolie.
In one of the notes Amy was involved in an exchange with Rudin in which he made a jibe about the 42-year-old actress.
Angelina apparently wanted director Fincher to be detached from the Steve Jobs biopic and instead be put in charge of her ‘Cleopatra’ movie.
The executive replied: “She is upset about us giving David Jobs. She wants to talk. She’ll survive it. I don’t want to waste my time on this.”

Douglas Booth’s dream to work with Quentin Tarantino

OHMYGOSSIP — Douglas Booth would love to work with Quentin Tarantino.
The 25-year-old actor has worked with a number of Hollywood actors and directors, including Russell Crowe in Darren Aronofsky’s Biblical movie ‘Noah’, but the British heartthrob admitted his dream would be to work with the ‘Pulp Fiction’ filmmaker.
Speaking to The Jackal magazine, Booth said: “I’d actually love to do an action movie if the right one came along, but only if it wasn’t brainless and had a great director. The dream is to work with Paul Thomas Anderson or Quentin Tarantino.”
Booth is currently starring in the haunting ‘Loving Vincent’ which looks at the troubled life and work of Vincent Van Gogh and features around 6,500 frames all hand-painted on canvas in the style of the iconic artist.
Booth stars as Armand Roulin, who was famously painted by Van Gogh who wore a bright yellow jacket, as he attempts to deliver the artist’s final letter to his brother following his suicide.
Although Van Gogh is one of the most influential artists of the 19th Century, Booth admitted he often “dismissed” him due to his popularity but said his character’s journey was similar to his own.
He said: “Often when you tell an artist’s story in a film, you hear about them as a human being but you lose their art, how they really created. I always kind of dismissed him because he was so popular, and I tend to prefer more contemporary art. But I went on the same journey as my character, and learnt what an incredible man he was – he left this unbelievable body of work, and didn’t even pick up a paintbrush until he was 28.”
‘Loving Vincent’ – which is slated for release this October – stars an all-star cast including Chris O’Dowd, Aidan Turner, Helen McCrory and Jerome Flynn.

Robert Redford says Jane Fonda convinced him to join Our Souls at Night

OHMYGOSSIP — Robert Redford was convinced to star in ‘Our Souls at Night’ by Jane Fonda.
The 81-year-old icon was reluctant to appear in the film, having already starred in the Broadway production, but Jane’s casting led Robert to reconsider his stance towards the romance movie.
Robert – who has frequently collaborated with Jane through the decades – explained: “Jane has this energy and she has this drive that forces things to happen, including taking a reluctant male character and pushing him into the spotlight.
“And that’s what happened in the play and what happens in the film. So, that’s why I like doing it again. It was fresh.”
And Jane was similarly enthusiastic about being reunited with Robert.
She said, too, that having known each other for so long, it was easier to tease her more serious co-star.
Jane told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “On ‘Our Souls at Night’, 50 years later … when he wouldn’t speak, I would just say, ‘Bob, come on, you look like you’re carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders. Lighten up, guy’.
“I just would rib him about it and I realised, oh, I’ve changed. I have more confidence and I don’t think it’s my fault.”
Robert also explained how their lengthy friendship made the filming process much easier than usual.
He said: “It’s one of those relationships that kind of fell into place without a lot of talk, without a lot of discussion.
“[It] went back to 1965. We worked together the first time and that was comfortable and easy. It’s just been maintained all through the years, so it’s been easy.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ross Kemp has become a father again.
The former ‘EastEnders’ star announced that his wife Renee O’Brien had given birth to their second child today (28.09.17) on Twitter when he thanked famed gynaecologist Lawrence Impey and his team for successfully delivering their baby into the world.
Alongside a photograph of him and Lawrence in their theatre scrubs, Ross wrote: “BIG THANKS to Lawrence Impey and his team. Very happy Dad again! (sic).”
The 53-year-old actor refused to divulge any further details on the newborn – including the name, sex, time of birth and weight – but it’s thought the delivery went well.
Ross and Renee – who got married in 2012 – already have a little boy, who was born in 2015, together but neither of them have ever confirmed his name.
Ross also has another son with his ex-partner Nicola Coleman.
Meanwhile, the investigative journalist’s happy news comes just months after Sky decided to axe his ‘Extreme World’ series, which saw him document homelessness, drug addiction, violence and poverty around the world, after six years on screen.
A spokesperson for the channel said previously: “Our focus for Sky1 this year is offering customers even more great drama, comedy and factual entertainment. Although Ross was hoping to bag himself another series next year, he’s not completely disheartened as bosses have promised him something exciting in the future.
A spokesperson said: “Ross remains a much-loved member of the Sky1 family. He in talks with him about exciting new factual entertainment projects for the channel.”
And that’s not the only door that has opened up for the actor as he’s also hoping to reprise his role as bad boy Grant Mitchell in ‘EastEnders’ sometime this year.
When pressed on whether he would go back to Albert Square, he said: “You know what, in life, particularly if you work in television, who knows? Never rule out anything!”
Ross has appeared in the programme on and off since 1990 and saw his hard man alter ego go back to Albert Square temporarily last year when his on-screen mother Peggy (Dame Barbara Windsor) passed away following a lengthy cancer battle.
