OHMYGOSSIP — Alicia Vikander wants to make sure her own movie projects involve more women.
The ‘Danish Girl’ star was the lead woman in four huge movies but she wasn’t in any other scenes with a woman and now she intends to make sure that is not the case going into the future with her own producing projects.
She said: “I looked back and I did four films in a row, where I was a lead in all of them, but there wasn’t a single scene where I was with another woman. Which is nuts, really.
“So I really want to make sure that I always have that in the back of my mind [when I am producing projects].”
The 28-year-old Swedish actress feels Hollywood has already come on leaps and bounds in ironing about sexism issues in the industry.
She added: “I started making films in English seven years ago and I think even now there are a lot more options out there. People are talking more about it and people are more aware, and I think that is the way towards change.”
Meanwhile, Alicia also revealed she loves to make movies that are “challenging”.
She told the Hollywood Reporter magazine: “European art house is where I come from, but I can’t tell you how many times I saw ‘Indiana Jones’ and ‘The Mummy’ growing up. I love to do challenging art, but that doesn’t take away from wanting to be part of films that I really enjoy.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Andrew Garfield wants to make a “really f***ing stupid” movie.
The ‘Hacksaw Ridge’ actor is “ready” to make a romantic comedy and thinks a lighter movie would make a refreshing change for him.
Asked when he will make a rom-com, he said: “I know! Soon. I am ready. I really would love to do something really f***ing stupid.”
The 34-year-old star insists his own life would make for a “rubbish” film so he’s always happy to take on roles far removed from himself.
He said: “I’m not very interesting. I’d be a rubbish film.”
And Andrew went on to defend his diverse range of roles, including as a gay man in stage play ‘Angels’, paralysed from the neck down in latest film ‘Breathe’ and being trans in Arcade Fire’s ‘We Exist’ video.
Discussing the controversy over actors taking parts from minorities craving representation, he told the Sunday Times Culture magazine: “It’s a really nuanced conversation, bigger than a soundbite.
“But I’ll talk about ‘Angels’. Tony Kushner wrote it, happens to be a gay man, and asked me to do it.
“Also, I’m an able-bodied actor playing someone in ‘Breathe’ who is disabled. [The producer] Jonathan Cavendish asked me to play his dad. I can talk to a bunch of people who think I shouldn’t play Prior or Robin — I would like to sit in a room [with them] and have a deep talk about disabled and LGBTQ representation in the arts.
“It’s a conversation I want eye to eye. I don’t want it in public. It’s not constructive. Let’s get in a room and talk about it. I mean that sincerely.”
In ‘Breathe’ – which marks Andy Serkis’ directorial debut – Andrew did his best to keep his character, Robin, true to how he was in reality and constantly sought out his son Jonathan, who was on set every day, for reassurance.
He said: “He was up for exaggerating parts of the truth. But I always looked to him to make sure it looked like his dad.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Charlotte Crosby cheated on her boyfriend with Stephen Bear.
The former ‘Geordie Shore’ beauty started dating the reality TV star over a year ago while they were filming the first series of ‘Just Tattoo Of Us’ and they hit it off so well that she shared a smooch with him – even though she was dating someone else.
Asked about why she Stephen – who is also known simply as ‘Bear’ – designed a half bear and half cheetah inking for her, Charlotte said: “When we were filming series one, I had a boyfriend at the time and nobody really knows about it.
“I was only with him for two months, not that it makes it better, and I kissed Steve on set. It’s a good job that I like Cheetahs and other animals!”
However, although they started things off stronger than ever, their relationship seemingly hit the rocks earlier this year when Charlotte – who suffered an ectopic pregnancy last year – found out her ex-boyfriend Gary ‘Gaz’ Beadle was expecting a baby with his girlfriend Emma McVey and she broke down live on television.
She said: “I’m trying to not do it [argue]. He’s never been in a long-term relationship.”
Despite their recent make ups and break ups, the 27-year-old star is adamant that she and Bear, 27, will be together forever and they’ll end up getting married.
Speaking on ‘This Morning’ on Monday (02.10.17), she explained: “I would love to marry him. I can’t imagine having a normal boyfriend, it would be boring.”
But, although she’s given marriage a thought, Charlotte doesn’t want a baby yet.
She said: “I did go through a stage of feeling broody but now I’m back and focused on putting my career and self first, making the most of my 20s before they are over.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Gemma Aktinson is happy to be a “crazy dog woman with meals for one.”
The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ star is adamant she’s not looking for love on the ballroom and latin show, which is known for forming romantic relationships between contestants and the professionals off screen, as she’s enjoying the single life and gets enough companionships from her two dogs Norman and Olly.
Speaking to OK! magazine, she said: “The last thing I’m looking for at the minute is a boyfriend. I’m happy to be the crazy dog woman with meals for one. I live with Norman, who is a sproodle and Olly, a working cocker spaniel. They’re like my kids.”
The 32-year-old actress was rumoured to be getting cosy with Gorka Marquez but she’s adamant there’s nothing going on between them and they barely see each other because he’s partnered with Alexandra Burke and she’s with Aljaž Škorjanec.
She explained: “There was an online poll that asked who I should get with and they said Gorka, so it started from there! I’ve only seen him for the launch and live shows. He’s a friend and the only thing we’ve shared is his guacamole recipe.”
And the former ‘Emmerdale’ beauty is certain the “‘Strictly’ curse” – which sees contestants and professionals fall for one another – won’t strike her and Aljaž, who is married to dancing queen Janette Manrara, because they just sit around burping.
She said: “I thought it would be [awkward] but it’s not like that with Aljaž because he’s my mate. Hopefully the dance will look intimate when necessary but before and after rehearsals we’re sat around eating Nando’s, burping and having a laugh.”
But if there is one thing Gemma is taking seriously it’s her natural lifestyle.
She added: “We all smelt like digestive biscuits because that’s what fake tan smells like. I had to ask what was in it because I don’t want chemicals on my body, but it’s a vegan spray tan, so it’s all good.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Olivia Attwood thinks Katie Price is “delusional” for sending “flirty” texts to her boyfriend Chris Hughes.
The ‘Love Island’ star is adamant she’d never message a guy again if he didn’t respond to her first text – referencing the former glamour model’s double text to the heartthrob last month – and thinks the 39-year-old beauty’s behaviour is actually quite “tragic” because her beau would never cheat on her.
Speaking to OK! magazine, she said: “He showed me the messages whenever he got them but it wasn’t something we spent much time talking about. It just had a bit of a tragic feel to it. I’ve never double messaged a guy in my life, I’m too proud for that. Chris is the first guy I’ve ever dated who I have no reason to be insecure with. Katie was a bit delusional to think Chris would fancy her or cheat on me. She’s the opposite of Chris’ type. I am too. He doesn’t usually like fake boobs, fake hair and loud girls. We only work because we were forced to get to know each other so well in the ‘Love Island’ villa.”
Chris and Katie got into a war of words last month when the 22-year-old heartthrob uploaded a screenshot of the messages she’d allegedly sent him while she was on a personal appearance.
In the messages, Katie – who has recently split from her husband Kieran Hayler after she found out he’d been sleeping with their nanny behind her back – urged Chris to “be careful” of people who are interested in exploiting him, and even told him to let her know if he would rather she didn’t contact him.
She wrote: “Hey Chris I got your number from a mutual friend I loved meeting you the other day and would love to go shooting if offer still there ! I don’t think your getting my messages are you? I think they are getting deleted I’m not here to cause trouble at all ! Yes you know I like you ! And here for any advice too ! You will just get people wanting to make money out of you so just try be careful ! Hope to hear from you and if you don’t want me to tex or be in Touch I’d rather you tell me xxx (sic)”
After Chris failed to respond to her text, Katie sent a further message, insisting she’s “not after” him.
The message read: “Hey don’t worry I’m not after you it was a faze lol but you on a club PA ? I am too and it’s sooo late where you? I’m in Darlington (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Dawn Ward got her boobs done because they’d disappeared under her armpits.
The ‘Real Housewives of Cheshire’ star has come under fire after she allowed her daughters Darby, 21, and Taylor, 19, to go under the knife to boost their busts recently, but she has admitted she was open to the idea because she knew how down she felt about her bosoms when they started to separate at the age of 21.
Speaking on ‘Loose Women’ on Monday (02.10.17), she explained: “I think one of the things that’s really important – and I discussed this with the girls – I am wearing make up today because that’s how I feel nice. I’m not doing it to make anyone else think I look nice, I do it for myself. I think when you go into a procedure like this, she’s 21.
“I was married and had Darby, I had my first boob job at Darby’s age because I was laying in bed and my husband said: ‘Where’s your boobs gone?’ And I whipped them out from under my armpit. That’s the only plastic surgery I’ve had.”
And, although she’s been heavily criticised, the 44-year-old beauty is just pleased that her daughters – who she has with her husband Ashley Ward – came to her.
She explained: “We sat down as a family. My girls are 21 and 19 and they’re strong girls. They’ve come to me with a suggestion that they want to do something to their bodies and the first thing I said to them was: ‘Ok.’ We went to see the best surgeon and if at any point that surgeon had said: ‘I don’t think this is right for your daughters, I think there’s this risk then I would have said to my girls: ‘Look, it’s not right.’ ”

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicola McLean thinks Heidi Montag will make “the most amazing mum.”
The 36-year-old former glamour model spent three weeks with the former ‘Hills’ star at the beginning of the year when they were both locked inside the famous ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house for the 17th series but, although they locked horns numerous times on screen, the blonde beauty has taken to her Instagram account to congratulate her pal and her husband Spencer Pratt on the birth of their son Gunnar.
Alongside a photograph of Heidi with her blossoming baby bump, Nicola said: “I had the honour of living with this beautiful soul and have no doubt she will make the most amazing mum ( mom) congratulations @heidipratt and @spencerpratt will be the coolest dad ( don’t put the heated seats on, on the school run) love you both (sic).”
Heidi and Spencer – who got married in 2009 – announced the birth of their little one this morning (02.10.17) but the blonde babe admitted her labour was “hard.”
Heidi, 31, shared: “We are so blessed to have a beautiful healthy baby boy. It was the hardest and most rewarding experience.”
Whilst Spencer, 34, added: “[It’s] officially the most lit day of my life.”
And, although Gunnar is only a few hours old, Spencer has big plans for his son as he previously revealed he wanted his child to sign up to social media.
He said previously: “This kid will have an iPhone at birth. I’m gonna teach this kid how to Snap when they’re born, like, ‘Put your finger here.’ You walk around, everybody’s making their own content all day long. We live in a new world where everyone’s a fame w***e, so I’m happy to let him be at an advanced level. I would just like my baby to be a professional content maker.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes don’t have much time for “love” now she’s doing ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The ‘This Morning’ presenter has spent six days a week training for the ballroom and latin show since the middle of last month and has admitted, although he’s being very supportive of her recent venture, they haven’t had much alone time because she leaves the house early in the morning and doesn’t get home until late.
Speaking on ‘Loose Women’ on Monday (02.10.17), she said: “All my time is focused on ‘Strictly’. I have a day off on Sunday. We have no time for dating. We do actually go out for dinner or lunch.
“I have to say, Eamonn is doing a lot of this in tongue-in-cheek – he’s so supportive. He’s just there, asking me what I need and so he booked Sunday lunch. He has a gin and tonic and a bowl of ice for my feet, so he’s been very supportive. Not much time for love. Not time for that.”
And the 57-year-old Irish journalist is struggling so much without his spouse – who he married in 2010 – that he’s actually bought a cardboard cut out of her so that he can still feel like she’s with him when he’s eating dinner.
Ruth, 57, explained: “He’s even bought a cardboard cut out of me. He calls himself a ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ widow … I said to him: ‘Excuse me, do you remember when you went into the jungle – you know when he went on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ the spin-off show – not one person rung me and said: “Can I bring a casserole round, Ruth?” Nobody does that to women.” It’s like, I’ve disappeared and he’s going to die.”
Ruth has been putting so much energy into her training with her professional dance partner Anton du Beke that she actually pulled her hamstring before the live show last weekend and she’s still suffering with the injury now.
Ruth added: “My hamstring is not great, it’s still strapped up.”

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Made in Chelsea’ will return to screens on October 9.
The posh reality TV show – based in the affluent area of West London – left fans eagerly wanting more when the summer special in Ibiza, Spain, came to an end in August, but fans won’t have to wait too much longer to find out what the cast got up to when they returned to the capital as the 14th series will debut next week.
Ros Coward, Executive Producer, said of the show’s return: “We all love ‘Made In Chelsea’ for its mix of high class romance, rivalry and ridiculousness and after a summer in Ibiza it’s great to be back in Chelsea with the entire cast.”
The new instalment will see the return of Sam Thompson – who threatened to leave the show over the summer – as he comes face-to-face with his ex-girlfriend Tiffany Watson following his on-screen romance with Amelia Lily on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’.
‘Made in Chelsea’ favourites Jamie Laing – who split up with his girlfriend Frankie Gaff in the last series – Oliver Proudloud and Francis Boulle will also make a return, as will originals Victoria Baker-Harber, Mark-Francis Vandelli and Louise Thompson.
However, there will be some fresh blood on the streets of Chelsea, Fulham and Kensington as bosses have recruited some new singletons to ruffle feathers.
Ros explained: “It’s a long time since we have had so many single people on the show; it’s a new chapter for Jamie, Alex, Frankie, Sam and Tiff who are all back on the market, and alongside our favourite faces there are some exciting new additions guaranteed to turn heads and ruffle feathers.”
Lee McMurray, Commissioning Editor for Formats at Channel 4 added: “After one of our most successful and explosive summer seasons yet, E4 viewers should brace themselves for an exciting new chapter in the lives of the Chelsea set. Efforts of old favourites to find new love sparks a fresh wave of the inimitable and hugely enjoyable mix of fun, feuding, flirting and fine-dining we’ve all come to know and love.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Amber Davies and Kem Cetinay’s sex life has “dramatically dropped” over the past two months.
The ‘Love Island’ beauty – who met her man while competing in the dating show over the summer – is desperate to get frisky between the sheets again because their bedroom action has turned into a flop since the 20-year-old heartthrob became popular with television executives.
Speaking on Kem and his former housemate Chris Hughes’ new show ‘Straight Outta Love Island’, Amber said: “Our sex life has dramatically dropped.
“We used to have sex every single night in the villa. I want sex.”
But Kem is adamant their lack of intimacy is only for a little while as he’s busy trying to earn cash.
He joked: “I can’t help it that I’m grafting. I’m trying to provide for the family. I’m trying to put food on the table for the kids.”
Despite their lack of sex, the pair are very loved up and have started talking about getting married and having kids – despite only getting together three months ago.
Kem said recently: “This is no banter. I can imagine myself having kids and a family with Amber. This is the bird I’ve made my girlfriend. I am in love, I want to be with her forever.”
Amber added: “I found something in someone I didn’t know was possible.”
But the pair have made the decision not to live with one another – unlike their fellow housemates – for the time being as they’re still really young and just want to let their relationship flourish slowly.
Amber, 20, said: “We’ve spoken about it but I live with my four best friends and I think he needs to live with his best friends first, or by himself, to grow up a little bit.
“We want to last a long time – ideally forever – so we don’t want to rush anything. Give it a year or so, then we can discuss.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Eamonn Holmes has agreed to sing for a new children’s programme on CBeebies.
The ‘This Morning’ host was approached by the broadcaster to voice a forthcoming kids’ show called ‘Biggleton’ but was left stunned when bosses also asked him if he’d mind showing off his vocal range throughout the 25 episodes.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, Eamonn said: “I have been asked by the BBC to voice an animation programme, a children’s animation programme for CBeebies called ‘Biggleton’. It is like ‘Trumpton’ or ‘Camberwick Green’.
“I will be saying things like, ‘It was a cloudy day in Biggleton’. I am totally surprised. I mean why come to me? And they want me to sing.”
However, the 57-year-old presenter wasn’t just handed the job as he was told to audition and tasked with singing a classic children’s tune in front of producers.
Eamonn explained to the publication: “My audition was to sing ‘Nellie The Elephant’ but I don’t know the words. This is me all over. I don’t know if it is fantastic but I would be lying to you if I did not say I was tickled.”
But he clearly did a good job as CBeebies boss Kay Benbow is glad they’ve nabbed Eamonn for the show and added: “I am thrilled to welcome Eamonn to CBeebies. It’s great to have his warmth and humour as the narrator on our new series, ‘Biggleton’.”
While Eamonn is busy voicing the children’s series, his wife Ruth Langsford is trying to impress the nation with her fancy footwork on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
However, the former news reader isn’t too pleased with Ruth’s new job as he’s worried her dedication to the show will have an impact on their home life.
He said recently: “She is working so hard. And she’s striking a blow for all the women written off in their 50s. She’s loving it, though I think ‘Strictly’ will put a strain on us because she’s not about and Jack [their 15-year-old son] and I miss her.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Aston Merrygold is reportedly being deliberately marked down on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The former JLS singer came under fire when he signed up to the ballroom and latin show over the summer as fans thought he was at an unfair advantage due to his previous dance training so, although he’s clearly one of the front runners in the competition this year, the judges have been penalising him because they don’t want viewers to lose interest.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ dance professional James Jordan – who quit the show in 2014 – said: “Aston’s dance was full of brilliant lifts and tricks.
“But the judges twist scores. Someone does an amazing performance and they don’t want them to run away with it. They did it with Danny Mac last year. I get irate about it.
“It’s meant to be about teaching someone who’s not danced before. You won’t see a Darren Gough or Mark Ramprakash win again.”
But James’ wife Ola Jordan – who was also a professional on the programme until 2015 – doesn’t think the celebrities are to blame as the bosses shouldn’t pick them if they’re worried about there being an unfair advantage on those who haven’t ever danced before.
She added: “Blame ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ for picking them.”
Last night’s results show saw ‘Holby City’ star Chizzy Akudolu – the first to leave – booted out of the competition after she failed to impress in the dance off against Brian Conley.
Speaking after her exit, Chizzy said: “Thank you to everyone who has supported.”
And talking about her professional partner Pasha Kovalev, she added: “And this guy … this dude, I have loved every minute dancing with him and it will continue because I will just be going round his house to dance now.
“But I don’t have his address so if anyone could email me I would appreciate it! And thank you to the judges for the constructive criticism which I will take on board. Thank you.”

OHMYGOSSIP — The cast of ‘Doctor Foster’ have been banned from social media to prevent any storyline spoilers.
The second series of the gripping series will come to an end tomorrow (03.10.17) night and Neil Stuke – who plays Chris Parks in the show – has teased that fans will be left speechless by the unexpected conclusion but, in a bid to keep the finale under wraps, everyone involved in the current instalment have been told to stay away from Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, Neil said: “We’re not allowed to do anything [on social media]. I couldn’t post any pictures of the Maserati I got to drive in last week’s episode.
“Everything is under lock and key. The plots are kept top-secret…
“We haven’t been able to talk to anybody about it – I didn’t even talk to my other half… I think people are going to be really shocked and surprised.”
Last week’s episode left viewers on the edge of their seats as it saw Simon Foster (Bertie Carvel) march off after successfully destroying his ex-wife Gemma Foster’s (Suranne Jones) life.
But, in a huge twist right at the end, the deranged doctor – who sought revenge in the first series after finding out her former flame had been cheating on her with a younger woman and had got her pregnant – followed him in her car and appeared to be on the verge of ploughing him down.
It’s not yet known whether Gemma will murder her ex, but Suranne did confirm recently that the series has a “solid ending” – but she’d be open to another instalment if the “story was right.”
The 39-year-old actress said: “If Mike [Bartlett, the show’s creator] comes up with another story then we’ll talk about it. But for now, like the first one, it’s got a really good, solid ending.”
However, although the second series has received more than six million viewers each week, screenwriter Mike has teased that there may not be an opportunity for a third series.
He said: “Depending on what happens at the end of series two, a third might not be possible. That’s all I can say really. I get upset when people describe Gemma as mad. I don’t think she is, she’s just very angry. If it was a man behaving like that, you say he was fighting back.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Mark Wright was forced to miss his cousin Elliott Wright’s wedding yesterday (01.10.17).
The 30-year-old presenter didn’t get to watch his close relative tie the knot with his partner Sadie Stuart in Marbella, Spain, over the weekend because he wasn’t able to leave his new celebrity correspondent job for the US’ ‘Extra’ across the pond.
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, Elliott, 35, said: “When Mark took the job in America he said there was a chance he wouldn’t be able to come. I’m very close to Mark and we will both be upset he can’t be there. But I know this job was the chance in a lifetime for him. I’m proud of him and there’s no hard feelings.”
But Mark wasn’t the only one missing from the wedding party as his wife Michelle Keegan, 30, also had to skip the romantic nuptials because she’s away filming the third series of her army drama ‘Our Girl’ in South Africa, Malaysia and Nepal.
However, although they didn’t get to be involved in Elliott’s big day, they’ll still get to watch the romantic ceremony unfold as he and Sadie agreed to film it for a TV show.
Taking to his Instagram account recently, Elliott said: “Sadie and I are really excited to officially announce that we have a new TV show with @limepictures @itvbe. They will be following us in the weeks leading up to the biggest day of my life, #thewedding. (sic)”
The show, which is expected to hit screens later this month on ITVBe, will be a two-part special and will document the highs and lows of wedding planning abroad.
Elliott – who has two children from his previous relationship – started dating Sadie in 2015 and popped the question to her during his summer series ‘Playa in Marbella’ last year.

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ filming has reportedly been delayed while Ant McPartlin continues his recovery.
The 41-year-old star spent two months in rehab for painkiller addiction earlier this year and he and his presenting partner, Declan Donnelly, were scheduled to take part in a promotional shoot at London’s Pinewood Studios later this week.
However, the shoot has now been postponed as Ant is taking “time and space” in Los Angeles with his agent, Paul Worsley.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “It would have been the first day filming but with Ant away, there is no way they could get started.”
Another source added: “He’s gone to get away from the spotlight.
“He’s in recovery and it’s important he has time and space.
“Paul’s gone to provide support. He is one of his closest friends.”
However, producers are not upset by the delay to their schedule as they want Ant to get better.
A TV insider said: “Ant needed some space away. Everyone completely understands.”
Ant is doing everything he can to get back to full health and even moved his mother Christine into his London home recently, because his wife Lisa, 40, has returned to work as a make-up artist on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
Ant previously said his mother was “happy” he had returned to his old self when speaking about her thoughts on his prescription pills addiction and rehab stint.
He said: “She’s happy to have me back.
“People do notice the difference in you when you’re down and depressed.
“She noticed it. She said she’s really happy to have her old son back, which is nice to hear.”

“The reason I ignore them is probably because I’m quite unfriendly. But mainly because I don’t want to show favouritism.”
However, Claude isn’t so rude to fans who stop him for a picture.
He said: “It gives me great satisfaction to be part of a show that’s successful.
“I really enjoy it and it’s quite nice to be recognised. If people come up and ask me for a selfie, I oblige.”
Despite his tough reputation, the 68-year-old businessman insists it’s just a persona he’s cultivated for the programme.
He told new! magazine: “I’m much scarier [than I seem on the show]… No, on the show I have to develop a persona. In the interviews, I have to be direct and very firm with people because I need to find out whether they are up to the job or their business plan is one that is worth the investment.”
Claude replaced Nick Hewer as Lord Alan Sugar’s advisor on the show, and the only piece of advice he was handed was to make sure he gets enough sleep.
He said: “The only tip Nick was able to give me as to get a good night’s sleep because it can be exhausting. He was right there.
“The candidates get up at four o’clock, which is when I’ve got to get up as well.
“It’s quite different to my normal daily activity.”
