EastEnders’ Stacey Fowler gives birth – early!

OHMYGOSSIP — EastEnders’ Stacey Fowler will be forced to give birth to her baby daughter early.
The brunette hairdresser will be rushed into hospital this week after she suffers a seizure – brought on by the potentially-fatal pregnancy condition pre-eclampsia – following a blazing row with Carmel Kazemi (Bonnie Langford), and doctors are given no choice but to deliver her baby prematurely as both of their lives are at risk.
Lacey Turner – who plays Stacey – told Inside Soap magazine: “What happens is really serious – Stacey and the baby’s lives are at risk. It’s a big shock as her health deteriorates with no warning and that’s really frightening for everyone …
“I think a combination of things contribute to what happens. Stacey’s been doing too much and has been under so much pressure – she’s got two little kids, she’s heavily pregnant, Martin’s been in prison and now all of this with Carmel has sent her blood pressure sky high. When she gets to hospital, they find out Stacey has pre-eclampsia, which is responsible for bringing on the seizure. The doctors make it clear that Stacey’s baby needs to be delivered as soon as possible, both for her sake and their child’s.”
However, although Stacey manages to make it through her emergency C-Section, it’s touch-and-go for her baby daughter as she’s rushed to intensive care.
Pressure between Stacey and her husband Martin Fowler (James Bye) then mounts as the brunette beauty refuses to see her baby out of fear that she won’t survive.
Lacey explained: “To be honest, she’s just so exhausted and hazy from the seizure that she’s only really hearing snippets of what the doctor and Martin are talking about. Stacey’s biggest fear is that the baby won’t survive – and I think she’d rather the baby lived instead of her if it came to it. She goes into a major panic.”

Chris Hughes and Kem Cetinay to get second series of reality TV show

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Hughes and Kem Cetinay are set to get a second series of ‘Straight Outta Love Island’.
The ‘Love Island’ stars – who struck up a ‘bromance’ while competing on the dating show over the summer – bagged themselves their own two-part spin-off earlier this month and it’s proved such a hit with viewers that producers are talking about giving them another instalment.
Kem told The Sun newspaper: “Me and Chris are in a good position at the moment because the figures that we anticipated for the show we completely knocked them out.
“They already said we would love to do one after with you but obviously we need to see whether you can hold up a show on your own. I remember the next day the producer rang me he was like ‘killed it, the viewer figures have been amazing.’ I assume they’re gonna wanna do it.”
The spin-off, which aired last week, saw the pair land a record deal with Sony and play their first gig at Ministry of Sound in London. They then released their first single ‘Little Bit Leave It’ immediately afterwards and it peaked at Number 1 in the iTunes Download Chart.
If the duo do manage to get another series commissioned, the cameras will follow them around as they continue to build their reputation in the music scene and carve out careers as rappers.
Although they’re keen to drop some more music in the near future, Chris, 24, and Kem, 21, would also like to get into television presenting – although they don’t want to be the next Ant and Dec.
Kem said recently: “Me and Chris, we put in so many hours into making it right. We was like ‘we need to be perfect’. But for me and Chris now, we were on the way to LA the other day and we both said we’d love to do presenting together. One thing we haven’t done yet.
“I hate comparisons to Ant and Dec because they’re so big I don’t like to put myself on that scale. And they made a song, bloody hell. Me and Chris have had a lot of things thrown our way in terms of shows. We liked what we’ve done with ITV we really enjoyed that, it was done amazingly. But we did say presenting because we’d just be like bouncing off each other, we’d like to give it a go, we haven’t done it yet but it needs to be the right thing.”

Katie Price counsels Stephanie Davis

OHMYGOSSIP — Katie Price has been counselling Stephanie Davis.
The ‘Loose Women’ panellist arranged to meet the former ‘Hollyoaks’ star – who was locked in a bitter legal battle with her ex-boyfriend Jeremy McConnell earlier this year –
recently to give her some words of wisdom and encourage her to take some time away from the limelight to focus on herself and her 10-month-old son Caben-Albi.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Katie really sympathises with Stephanie and wanted to reach out to offer her some advice.
“She gave Stephanie some words of wisdom after inviting her to her home, telling her to take a break from the spotlight and concentrate on spending time with her son.
“Stephanie really respects Katie and has listened to her – she has been in the business for years and is a mother herself so knows what she is talking about.”
Stephanie hit the headlines over the summer when her former flame Jeremy – who she has dated on and off since January 2016 and is the father of her son – was found guilty of assaulting her during a row at her home in Liverpool at the beginning of March.
The 24-year-old actress’ legal woes with the 28-year-old Irish hunk meant that the record company she was working with on new music decided to cut ties with her.
A source said recently: “Stephanie has received yet another devastating blow. Music producers she was working with have decided to go their separate ways.
“She was hoping for big things and it just never happened. A lot of things were promised but the material and voice just wasn’t there.”
Stephanie – who wants to become a pop star – kicked off her comeback earlier this year when she released her dance track ‘Missin” on Soundcloud, but she was forced to put things on a back burner after she became embroiled in a court case with Jeremy.

Ricky Wilson not returning to The Voice

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘The Voice’ didn’t “want” Ricky Wilson as a judge on the new series next year.
The Kaiser Chiefs frontman walked away from the singing show in 2016 after his contestant Kevin Simm won the series but, although it was his decision to leave the programme, he has admitted he wouldn’t be able to return even if he wanted to as ITV – who swiped the rights to the show from the BBC last year – didn’t want him.
Speaking on his radio show, the 39-year-old singer said: “Sorry, I’m not going to be on ‘The Voice’ next year. They didn’t want me. They said I could audition as a contestant.”
Despite Ricky confirming he isn’t returning when the show hits screens in January, he previously admitted he would love to go back to ‘The Voice’.
He said: “I’d love to go back to ‘The Voice’. It’s loads of fun. I’d go back tomorrow if they asked me. I’m glad I took some time off – like anything, if you get used to it you get jaded by it, so I’m glad to step away from it but there’s situations where you step away from it and then you’re not invited back.
“But one day I’d like to be go back, either that or something else. If you asked my partner she’d say I hated it. I probably hate doing it but I love having done it.”
The comments were made after Gavin Rossdale was revealed to have been axed from show due to programme bosses feeling he lacked charisma earlier this year.
The 51-year-old musician joined the show when it moved from the BBC to ITV but bosses are now already lining up McFly’s Danny Jones to replace him after he impressed on ‘The Voice Kids’.

Bruce Forsyth honoured by National Television Awards

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Bruce Forsyth is to have a National Television Award renamed in his honour.
The late, legendary TV presenter passed away in August at the age of 89 following a career in showbiz which spanned more than 75 years, and the NTAs have paid tribute to him by renaming their Entertainment Award as the Bruce Forsyth Entertainment Award.
Bruce’s wife Lady Wilnelia Forsyth told The Sun newspaper: “My darling Bruce would have been both humbled and delighted.
“Entertainment was his life. The National Television Awards always had a special place in his heart because they’re voted for by viewers.
“The children and I are thrilled his flame will still burn brightly.”
In 2011, Bruce was given a Special Recognition Award at the NTAs and admitted it was the “best” prize he had ever received.
He said: “It’s so overwhelming – the best thing I’ve ever won.”
A year later he opened the ceremony by performing ‘Let There be Love’ with his pals Ant and Dec, who will go up for the newly-named accolade.
The ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ co-hosts will do battle with ‘Tonight At The London Palladium’ – which Bruce used to host – ‘The Graham Norton Show’ and ‘All Round to Mrs Brown’s’.
In another NTAs first, there is a new category, Crime Drama Award, which is expected to see the likes of ‘Line of Duty’ and ‘Sherlock’ compete against each other.

Gorka Marquez admits Gemma Atkinson is a ‘beautiful girl’

OHMYGOSSIP — Gorka Marquez thinks Gemma Atkinson is a “beautiful girl”.
The Spanish dancer has struck up a close friendship with the blonde beauty during their time together on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, but Gorka has insisted that, contrary to widespread speculation, they are not currently dating.
Speaking amid the romance rumours, Gorka said: “She is a beautiful girl and she’s lovely.
“But we are just friends, like I’m friends with everyone on the show.”
Gorka said that he and Gemma, 32, have already been out together, but he refuted suggestions that their friendship has already turned romantic.
He told new! magazine: “It’s true that we’ve had some drinks together and stuff like that, but nothing else.”
Gemma, on the other hand, recently insisted she doesn’t wish to discuss her love life, because she’s grown tired of talking about who she’s dating over the last 15 years.
The former ‘Emmerdale’ actress – who previous dated soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo – explained: “I really don’t want to talk about my love life to be honest.
“I don’t feel I need to respond to anyone about what I’m doing.
“I’ve had to talk about who I’m dating for the past 15 years. You’ve got to take everything with a pinch of salt.”
Gemma is actually partnered with Aljaz Skorjanec on the BBC show, and she recently admitted to being fearful of gaining weight during her time on the programme.
The actress said she’s been gorging on snacks to help get herself through her gruelling training schedule.
She recently shared: “I must be the only contestant who hasn’t lost weight on the show as all we do all day is eat.
“We are so hungry with all the exercise I’m eating a lot more than usual.”

Abbey Clancy’s daughter wants to compete on Britain’s Next Top Model

OHMYGOSSIP — Abbey Clancy’s daughter wants to compete on ‘Britain’s Next Top Model’.
The 31-year-old model and head judge on the Lifetime show has admitted her six-year-old daughter Sophia – who she has with her husband Peter Crouch – is desperate to sign up for the programme and undertake various tasks in a bid to be named the champion.
The catwalk icon told OK! Magazine: “Sophia already wants to be on ‘Britain’s Next Top Model’. She’s like ‘How old do you have to be to get on?’ She’s still super girly. If we don’t have any boys, Liberty can be our boy. She’s wild and a bit more boisterous. She still wants the glitter on and the lip gloss like her sister, but Sophia is more prim and proper and Liberty’s a bit more like: ‘Raah!’.”
Although Sophia is too young to start modelling the style muse believes her oldest child will boast a successful career in the fashion industry, if she decides to follow in her footsteps, because she has inherited her father’s long legs.
She said: “I’ve been so lucky with my career. I’ve got to travel the world, work with some incredible people and I’ve had a really nice experience. I’m a firm believer that life’s too short, so you’ve got to work hard at school and then you have to do what makes you happy. I won’ force her into doing anything. Hopefully she picks something I can help her with. She’s definitely got the legs. It helps having a dad who is 6 foot 7 inches.”
Meanwhile Abbey, who also has two-year-old daughter Liberty and is pregnant with her third child, has revealed filming the competitive show during her pregnancy was a “bit of a shock” to her and proved to be a difficult time because she was plagued with morning sickness.
She explained: “It was a bit of a shock and I’ve been very ill. I’m quit sick when I’m pregnant, but it’s fine. I’m over that now and my production team were very kind to me. But it’s not an illness being pregnant and I don’t need a medal. There are so many mums out there who work far harder jobs than I’m doing. It’s just one of those things that, as women, we have to do.”
‘Britain’s Next Top Model’ is set to air on Lifetime on October 19.

Michael Green: Blade Runner 2049 is inspired by MCU

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Green has revealed that ‘Blade Runner 2049’ was partly inspired by the success of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The American screenwriter penned the sequel to Sir Ridley Scott’s 1982 cult sci-fi classic alongside original ‘Blade Runner’ scribe Hampton Francher which is itself inspired by Philip K. Dick’s novel ‘Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?’ which came out in 1968.
When he began working on the second ‘Blade Runner’ film, Green admitted he looked to the separate stories in the MCU for inspiration as he knew it wasn’t enough to expand the fictional universe if he didn’t have a story worth telling on the big screen.
Speaking to ‘Entertainment Weekly’, he said: “So many studios and property rights holders have seen the success of Marvel, which we all adore and wonder how to replicate it. For me, the lesson of Marvel is: you don’t begin by building a universe. You begin by telling a story worth telling. And if it is a great story, directed well and performed brilliantly and stays with people, it will become the black hole around which a galaxy can form. If you begin by trying to build the universe before creating a film worth watching, well, there be dragons.
“At no point in the creation of this story or script did anyone talk about spin-offs or how might things continue. It was always: what’s our story and make sure you have a story that is worth the title.”
Denis Villeneuve’s sequel takes place three decades after the original movie which is why Harrison Ford, 75, is seen as a much older version of his police operative character, android hunter Rick Deckard.
The impressive cast includes Ryan Gosling – who plays main protagonist, LAPD Officer K – Jared Leto, Lennie James, Robin Wright, Ana de Armas, Sylvia Hoeks, Carla Juri, Mackenzie Davis, Barkhad Abdi, David Dastmalchian, Hiam Abbass and Dave Bautista.

Hany Abu-Assad is proud of challenging disaster movie

OHMYGOSSIP — Hany Abu-Assad says his new movie ‘The Mountain Between Us’ is one of the most honest films he has made because of the extremely challenging conditions everyone had to endure on location.
The 55-year-old director helmed the survival movie which shows Kate Winslet and Idris Elba as photojournalist Alex Martin and surgeon Dr. Ben Bass and their efforts to survive in the wild following a plane crash.
Hany and his cast and crew worked 10,000ft up the Canadian Rockies and even though everyone had to deal with freezing and dangerous conditions, it is these challenges that “drive” him to make movies.
Speaking to Business Insider, the filmmaker said: “To be honest, this is what drives me to make movies. I want to have a challenge. And an honest picture. Because if you do it in a studio with a green screen, you won’t be making honest decisions about your shots, lens, lighting. But when you are on location, every decision is an honest decision because you are hungry, you are cold, you are all in the same situation. The actors didn’t need to pretend. We couldn’t get food up there. Everyone had energy bars to chew on.”
The location shoots for ‘The Mountain Between Us’ – which is based on the novel of the same name by Charles Martin – required the two stars to endure subzero temperatures in the mountains in Pemberton, British Columbia, Canada, and the filmmaker admitted he did at times feel “really guilty” because he wanted to push everyone to get the perfect shot.
He said: “One day we had walked and set up the shot and were ready, but then I was like, ‘This is not the right angle, we have to move the camera another half mile’, because I wanted to get the mountains in the background. You should have seen my crew shouting at me. ‘You can’t do this!’ I felt really guilty. The line producer was yelling at me, ‘Hany, you can’t do this!’ And I said, ‘We started already, let’s continue.’ We all had to work together to make it possible and they did it.”

Rafe Spall loved working with dinosaurs on Jurassic World 2

OHMYGOSSIP — Rafe Spall admits it was “freaky and wonderful” to get to work with the giant prosthetic dinosaurs on ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’.
The 34-year-old actor has joined the cast of the upcoming sequel as a new character that is yet to be named and will appear alongside Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, who are both reprising their roles from the 2015 blockbuster ‘Jurassic Park’.
Spall wasn’t totally sure about how the filming process would work when he stepped on set but he was delighted to discover that many of the dinos were operated by puppeteers.
The English actor – who is married to Elize du Toit – told the Metro newspaper: “Acting with the dinosaurs was really special. There were puppeteers underneath the sound stage who were operating them and they would have a camera down there so they could see who was approaching. It was freaky and wonderful.”
‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ sees the return of Howard, 36, as Claire Dearing and Pratt, 37, as velociraptor trainer Owen Grady
whilst original ‘Jurassic Park’ star Jeff Goldblum is back as Dr. Ian Malcolm.
For the fifth instalment in the ‘Jurassic Park’ franchise, which is slated to be released in June 2018, Colin Trevorrow stepped away from directing duties handing over the reins to Juan Antonio Bayona but his script is still being used as the basis of the story.
In July, director Bayona announced on social media that filming had finished.
He posted on Twitter: “This is a wrap for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom! What a journey! Thank you to everyone that made it possible. #JurassicWorldFallenKingdom (sic)”
Whilst Trevorrow – who is on scripting duties for the latest project after directing the 2015 original – congratulated Bayona for wrapping on the motion picture.
He wrote on his own social media account: “Congratulations @FilmBayona, cast and crew. #wrap (sic)”
The forthcoming film is the second in the ‘Jurassic World’ series following the 2015 self-titled movie and Trevorrow recently teased fans could expect an “insane” action sequence in the middle of the movie, but insisted it will be different to what the franchise has previously produced.

Brie Larson wants to ‘pave the road’ for women

OHMYGOSSIP — Brie Larson wants to “pave the road” in Hollywood to make it easier for women to enter the film industry in the future.
The ‘Kong: Skull Island’ star is keen to work as hard as she can to improve things for women nowadays as well as in the years ahead.
She told Porter magazine: “I think women are really coming into their own, we’re louder than ever now, and so I want to be very clear that it wasn’t an easy path for me, it was incredibly hard. And it’s still not easy, but I’m used to it being hard and my hope is that I can pave the road a little smoother for the women to come after me.”
It comes after Brie – who made her directorial debut with ‘Unicorn Store’ recently – revealed she wants to see more women in the director’s chair.
She explained: “I love that we’re seeing stronger women on the screen – but I don’t think that’s the end of this conversation. Because I think that we’re more than just being strong or just being mothering. I think there’s a whole lot that goes on in between for us to explore.
“I think the best place to start would be more female film directors – more female filmmakers of every different type of race – and we need to get out of these binary ways of thinking. We need more intersectionality. We need more unique voices because what directing is, is saying, ‘This is how I view the world’, and I think the way we can connect and learn more is seeing the world through other people’s eyes.”

Armie Hammer defends backlash

OHMYGOSSIP — Armie Hammer has defended his controversial role in ‘Call Me by Your Name’.
The 31-year-old actor portrays Oliver, 24, in the movie, an adaptation of Andre Aciman’s 2007 novel, which sees his character develop a relationship with 17-year-old student Elio (Timothee Chalamet, 21), and has faced criticism over the age gap.
One Twitter user, a Vietnam war veteran, wrote: “Wow, did you act in a film about pedophilia? Are you a pedophile? Do you promote such depravity? I was once a fan. Blech!! (sic)”
In response, Armie hit back: “You do know that you live in a state where the age of consent is 16, right….? Ok. Now shut up.
“And thank you for your service to our country (sic)”.
Armie recently insisted he had never been warned off playing gay characters, having previously portrayed Clyde Tolson in ‘J Edgar’ and James Lord in ‘Final Portrait’ and no longer thinks there’s as much of a “stigma” about homosexual roles.
He said: “None of my team has ever said ‘I don’t know if it’s gonna be good for you to play a gay character’.
“So I can only assume we are working our way through that stigma.”
However, although he has starred as gay characters before, the role of Oliver was something the actor – who has daughter Harper, two, and son Ford, eight months, with wife Elizabeth Chambers – found difficult and had to reach a “certain level of understanding” with director Luca Guadagnino.
He said: “I’m not sure I could have done it unless I’d reached a certain level of understanding with Luca.
“It was really a matter of him beating it all into my thick skull. There were all these kinks and fetishes that I didn’t understand.
“Like, why does he want to eat the peach? Why does he say ‘call me by your name and I’ll call you by mine?’
“If I didn’t understand those things, I wouldn’t have the character.”

John Rhys-Davies to return to Indiana Jones 5

OHMYGOSSIP — John Rhys-Davies wants to reprise his role as Sallah in ‘Indiana Jones 5’.
The 73-year-old actor portrayed the bearded Egyptian excavator in two of the four films; ‘Raiders of the Lost Ark’ and ‘Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade’, and has admitted he’d really liked to be involved in the forthcoming instalment in the franchise.
Speaking to Yahoo! Movies UK, he said: “I would love to have one last crack at Sallah. What would have happened to Sallah? I like to think that he would have been somebody like Khaled al-Asaad – that marvelous 80-year-old man who was defending his museum in Palmyra and who hid its major treasures and refused to give them over to ISIS and was beheaded in the town square.
“I think that’s probably how I would have seen Sallah. Sallah is the last Arab in popular, contemporary culture, that we regard as a hero.
“The world has changed, and that’s a tragedy for the West and for the Arab world. Perhaps there is no place for a Sallah anymore.
“Although I trust that my mention of Khaled al-Asaad just reminds people that they are not all iconoclasts and that there are heroes there – real heroes, too.”
Not much is known about the fifth movie – except that it’s slated for release in 2020 and Harrison Ford and director Steven Spielberg are both set to return.
The script is currently being penned by Spielberg’s close friend David Koepp, but details on the potential cast are being kept tightly under wraps for the time being.
However, Ryan Gosling – who stars alongside Ford in ‘Blade Runner 2049’ – has revealed he would love to appear in the next ‘Indiana Jones’ movie.
Asked whether he’s spoken to Ford about the prospect of starring in the next film, Gosling said: “I’m working on it, man … easy.”

Chris Hughes and Kem Cetinay set for second series of Straight Outta Love Island

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Love Island’s Chris Hughes and Kem Cetinay are set to star in a second series of ‘Chris & Kem Straight Outta Love Island’.
The two hunks rose to fame after becoming close friends whilst on the ITV2 couples reality show – which Kem eventually won alongside his partner Amber Davies – and were quickly given their own spin-off show on the same channel.
Now, after pulling in an impressive 471,000 viewers, 21-year-old Kem has said the pair are in a “good position” to be offered a second series.
He told The Sun newspaper: “Me and Chris are in a good position at the moment because the figures that we anticipated for the show we completely knocked them out.
“They already said we would love to do one after with you but obviously we need to see whether you can hold up a show on your own.
“I remember the next day the producer rang me he was like ‘Killed it, the viewer figures have been amazing’.
“I assume they’re gonna wanna do it.”
The show – which was comprised of just two episodes – follows Kem and his best friend Chris, 24, as they start their journey from reality stars to music stars, with fans being able to see the duo land a record deal with Sony, play their first gig at Ministry of Sound in London, and travel to Los Angeles to learn more about the hip-hop genre.
After the show aired, the pair released their debut single ‘Little Bit Leave It’, which managed to top the iTunes chart.
Meanwhile, Kem previously revealed he felt “under pressure” for the show to do well, after realising how excited their fans were.
He said before the show aired: “There’s nothing I can say as I don’t know the full gist but when they approached us I thought: ‘Really? Is that actually happening?’
“It’s going to put pressure on me and Chris, but from the reaction when we got it on Twitter I could not believe it. People went mad for it. I rang Chris and said: ‘Is this really the reaction we got?’ so I feel under pressure now.”

Helen Pearson to leave Hollyoaks

OHMYGOSSIP — Helen Pearson is set to depart from ‘Hollyoaks’ after 15 years.
The 57-year-old actress has portrayed pub landlady Francine ‘Frankie’ Osbourne on the popular Channel 4 soap for a whopping 15 years, but it has now been revealed she will leave the show later this month in scenes which were filmed back in September.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Helen is a soap legend. Her absence will really be felt as she is part of the furniture at ‘Hollyoaks’. But she’s off to pastures new and it has been a really hard decision.”
Frankie’s exit will come as her ex-husband Johnno Dean – who is played by Colin Wells – is set to make a dramatic return to the fictional Chester suburb for the first time in 12 years, when he will offer Frankie the chance to move away with him.
It isn’t the first soap that Helen has bowed out of either, as she held a minor role in BBC’s ‘EastEnders’ as April McIntosh in 1990, and joined ITV’s ‘Emmerdale’ as Carol Wearing from 2000 to 2001.
Meanwhile, whilst Helen’s contract is coming to an end, fellow cast member Kieron Richardson – who has played Ste Hay since 2006 – recently revealed he has signed new papers with the show after his alter-ego was cleared of charges brought against him for the murder of his ex-girlfriend Amy Barnes (Ashley Slanina-Davies).
He said: “I’ve signed a new contract this year, which is massively exciting because it means I’m going to be doing my 1,000th episode. Considering the show has only done 4,000 episodes, it’s a massive achievement.
“I think there’s going to be some nod to the 1,000 episode marker, but I don’t know what it’ll be yet. Maybe they’ll do nothing in the end, but I’m still super proud to have survived 1,000 episodes and not been killed off!
“Even after doing all those episodes, I still feel like I’m learning every single day and that’s the beauty of being in ‘Hollyoaks’.
“All the time, amazing new actors are coming in, younger kids are joining the show and I’m still trying to steal bits of what they do to put into my character.”

Elliott Wright ‘banned’ Arg from being in his wedding photos

OHMYGOSSIP — Elliott Wright “banned” James ‘Arg’ Argent from being in his wedding photos.
The 36-year-old television personality married his partner Sadie Stuart on September 30, but the former ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ star has admitted he had an argument with the longstanding family friend prior to his special day because he didn’t attend the suit fittings and couldn’t fit into his smart ensemble on the day.
Speaking about the issue to OK! magazine, the dark-haired hunk said: “I banned him from being in the official pictures because he p***ed me off before the wedding.
“He didn’t bother to go to his suit fittings, on the day, it didn’t fit him properly. We had a bit of an argument over it because to me it’s an honour to be asked to be a groomsman and I was annoyed that he didn’t take it seriously.”
However, the businessman and the 29-year-old reality star soon resolved the issue because Elliott can’t stay mad at his former ITVBe co-star for “too long”.
Elliott – who has Elliott and Olivia from a previous relationship – added: “We had a hug later in the day and we’re okay now. At the end of the day Arg is Arg, he’s a bit annoying but he’s one of my oldest friends, so I couldn’t stay annoyed at him for too long. He was our master of ceremonies and he did a fantastic job.”
Elliott has admitted reading the wedding vows also proved to be a very nerve-wracking time as he suddenly very “self-conscious” about uttering the all important words.
He explained: “During the rehearsal everyone was saying I sounded like RoboCop doing the vows, which p***ed me off. It’s hard to repeat just a few words at a time and make them sound meaningful. I was really self-conscious about it on the day, but once it came to saying them, all the nerves went away.”
