Martin Scorsese’s retirement talk

OHMYGOSSIP — Martin Scorsese talks about retiring all the time.
The 81-year-old director constantly insists his next movie will be his final one but his daughter Francesca doesn’t believe him.
She told Variety: “He’s always like, ‘I’m not doing this anymore. This is my last one’. But then he has like 10 more things lined up and he goes on and does them.”
Francesca and her father have amassed a huge TikTok following after posting a variety of fun videos on the platform and she revealed her dad is a huge fan.
She said: “He’ll text me and be like, ‘We need to make some more’. Or we’re hanging out and he’s like, ‘Man, we got to do more videos. Let’s go!’
“Honestly, I wouldn’t put it past him. For one we did with my dog, I showed him how to do it. So yeah, I think he’d able to post.”
However, the legendary director refuses to dance on camera and Francesca is happy not to have him taking part in any TikTok dancing challenge.
She said: “He refuses to do dances.”
And, he doesn’t even dance off camera.
She said: Nothing. Not at all. I wouldn’t even want to see it. Maybe I’ll get him to do one.”

And Ryan, who has daughter Scarlett with ex Tina O’Brien and kids Roman and Lilah with fiancée Lucy Mecklenburgh, revealed his family are helping him get through the final week.

Casualty’s ‘death warrant’

OHMYGOSSIP — There are fears that ‘Casualty’ will be axed in two years.
Although the cast recently signed two year contracts, it has been reported that the show will end after it’s 40th season.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Never mind on life support, it feels like Casualty has now received its death warrant.
“The official messaging is that all is well because the show was recently recommissioned for two more years.
“But when that new round of contracts were signed, the feedback was ‘two years, then we’re done’.
“To be honest, no one was very surprised. The writing has been on the wall for a while now.”
Meanwhile, back in September it was revealed that ‘Casualty’ was to have its number of episodes cut because of the cost of living crisis.
A TV insider told The Sun: “‘Casualty’ peaked in the Noughties when it was on our screens on a Saturday night almost all year round, and that’s what many people have come to expect.
“The only year that saw a shorter series was in 2021 because of the pandemic, when all TV productions were severely affected.
“Now it seems the cost of living crisis could prove just as devastating.”
A BBC spokesperson said at the time: “This is not the first time the show has taken a break due to the busy autumn schedule.
“Our priority is always delivering quality over hours and due to super inflation in drama production we’ve taken the decision to slightly reduce the number of episodes per year in order to maintain the quality.
“We’ve received no complaints from cast and crew, and it will be back on air later this year.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jake Quickenden and Dominic Skinner have signed up for ‘Celebrity MasterChef’.
‘X Factor’ and ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ star Jake, 35, will be among the stars taking part in the latest series of the show presented by Gregg Wallace and John Torode.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Jake’s very popular with viewers, as proved by his success in the jungle and on Dancing On Ice, so bosses were chuffed when he agreed to do it.
“He’s shared a few cooking vlogs on his social media, so he might surprise people with his talents.”
‘Glow Up’ judge Dominic is also expected to be a hit with viewers.
The insider said: “As for Dominic, he’s a hilarious, larger than life personality and will make great entertaining TV. ”
They will join ‘This Morning’s Craig Doyle and Christine Lampard, ‘Sex Education’s Eshaan Akbar and ‘Line of Duty’s Rochenda Sandall in the new series.
Meanwhile, Jake previously revealed he is determined to “take every opportunity” given to him to be on reality TV.
The singer – who starred on ‘The X Factor’ in 2012 – said that he’s intent on making as much money as possible through the industry, especially as he has a family to support.
He told Jenni Falconer on her ‘RunRod’ podcast: “I just think I may as well take every opportunity that’s handed to me because I’ve got a young family, I wanna make as much bloomin’ money as I can.
“I’ve done most of the reality shows out there. There’s not many more that I can do.
“But I’ll be willing to jump on any that I get asked to do because life’s too short.”
Jake is really keen to appear on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ one day.
However, he’s not sure whether ‘Strictly’s bosses will break their rule of not using ex-‘Dancing on Ice’ contestants.
Speaking about the possibility of appearing on the BBC show, Jake recently told Entertainment Daily: “Every year I want to do it. They never ask me.
“Well, they’ve obviously broke the reality TV thing now because they’ve got Zara [McDermott] on. They had Jamie Laing on it. They just need to break the one where they said they can’t have anyone that’s been on ‘Dancing on Ice’ on it and then I’d be the first one hopefully.
“You never know, they’re surely running out of people to go on it now so I might get a call one day.”

BBC’s Rebus reboot will launch this spring

OHMYGOSSIP — BBC has announced its ‘Rebus’ reboot is coming this spring.
The broadcaster has unveiled a first look at Viaplay’s first UK drama commission, which is based on the Inspector Rebus novels by author Ian Rankin and will star Richard Rankin as Detective Sergeant John Rebus in a look at his earlier life.
In a synopsis, the BBC said: “Set in Edinburgh, the six-part series reimagines John Rebus as a younger Detective Sergeant drawn into a violent criminal conflict that turns personal when his brother Michael, a former soldier, crosses the line into criminality.
“Rebus finds himself torn between protecting his brother and enforcing the law to bring Michael to justice.
“This epic series explores family, morality and class through an emotionally-charged story, set against the Scottish landmarks that Rankin’s readers know so well.”
Filming took place in Glasgow and Edinburgh last year, and further details about a specific air date for the six-part series – which will be shown on BBC One, BBC iPlayer and BBC Scotland – will follow at a later date.
Ian Rankin said in a statement: “I’m thrilled that Rebus is coming to the BBC. A great cast and a compelling story – I really can’t wait for viewers to see it.”
The series – which comes after ITV previously aired its own adaptation between 2000 and 2007 – is being written by Gregory Burke, who described the project as “a huge privilege”.
Richard Rankin added: “I am thrilled that Rebus will premiere on the BBC.
“It’s been an honour taking on the role of Ian Rankin’s renowned John Rebus. A character enjoyed by so many in such a fresh and original adaptation.”
Sue Deeks, Head of Programme Acquisition at the BBC, commented: “We’re so pleased that this exciting new incarnation of Ian Rankin’s iconic character will be airing on the BBC.
“Viewers can expect compelling storylines, complex characters and an enjoyable mix of action, wit and humour.”
And Eleventh Hour Films – who are producing the series – hailed the upcoming series as a “fresh, modern reimagining” of the character.
The studio’s CEO Jill Green added: “We are so excited to be bringing a fresh, modern reimagining of Rebus to a wide audience on the BBC.
“This is an emotionally charged series from Gregory Burke and one that behaves differently in the crime genre space.”

Vinnie Jones turned down Deadpool and Wolverine due to costume concerns

OHMYGOSSIP — Vinnie Jones rejected the chance to appear in ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’.
The 59-year-old star previously played the role of Cain Marko/Juggernaut in the 2006 film ‘X-Men: The Last Stand’ but turned down the opportunity to make a cameo as the villain in the hotly-anticipated flick alongside Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman as he couldn’t face the physical and mental toil of getting into costume.
Vinnie told Yahoo Movies UK: “Funnily enough I just got asked to do ‘Deadpool’, the new one now, and I spoke to the director and I just said it’s such a drama putting that suit on mentally and physically.
“It had its mental toll as well because you’re in it and you can’t do anything all day, you can only drink through a straw. So we couldn’t strike the deal for ‘Deadpool [and Wolverine]’.”
The former footballer admits that saying no caused him immense pain as he is a huge fan of Reynolds’ wise-cracking superhero.
Vinnie said: “But ‘Deadpool’s’ my favourite movie of all time more or less. I really wanted to do it, but they didn’t have the budget to put me in the suit.”
The ‘Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels’ actor featured opposite Jackman in ‘X-Men: The Last Stand’ but has bad memories of the movie as his part was drastically changed when Brett Ratner replaced Matthew Vaughn in the director’s chair.
Jones recalled: “The new director came on and it was not the same role as I had signed on to do.
“They diluted the dialogue… The director brought in so many moving parts and so many other actors that mine got diluted.
“I lost all interest quite early because I knew they were just taking me along… I was very upset really. It was such a big stage and I became an extra, that’s what happened.”

Timothee Chalamet eyes Austin Butler Elvis cameo in Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown

OHMYGOSSIP — Timothee Chalamet wants Austin Butler’s Elvis to make a cameo in his Bob Dylan biopic ‘A Complete Unknown’.
The 28-year-old star will portray the ‘Like a Rolling Stone’ singer in the picture and is hopeful that Austin will reprise his part as the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll – which he played in Baz Luhrmann’s 2022 film ‘Elvis’ – to “create a musical cinematic universe”.
Speaking to NME, Timothee said: “I was kind of wishing we could create a musical cinematic universe.”
The actor revealed that he has been tapping into his ‘Dune: Part Two’ co-star’s knowledge of bringing a famous musical figure to life so he can perfect his depiction of Dylan in the James Mangold flick.
Chalamet said: “I’ve been picking Austin’s brain nonstop. Let’s let my film come out before I’m so lucky as to get included with Austin, he did such a phenomenal job.”
The ‘Wonka’ star explained that the idea for a “musical multiverse” isn’t totally outlandish as Elvis (played by Tyler Hilton) featured in Mangold’s 2005 Johnny Cash biopic ‘Walk the Line’.
He said: “There is an Elvis character in the Johnny Cash biopic.
“I can’t speak from Elvis’ perspective, but deep in the Bob Dylan lore now, he had tremendous respect for Elvis and Sun Records.”
Austin revealed that he enjoyed discussing the biopic experience with Chalamet and is looking forward to being able to see the movie.
The 32-year-old actor said: “Timothee works so hard, and it’s just so cool to get to discuss process and talk through things. I can’t wait for that film.
“I wish I could be on set every day just to watch the magic happen.”

CBB: Fern Britton nominates Ekin-Su for eviction after being told to ‘show off cellulite’ in hot tub

OHMYGOSSIP — Fern Britton has nominated Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu for eviction on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’.
The 66-year-old presenter – who is best known for having fronted ‘This Morning’ alongside Phillip Schofield from 2002 until 2009 – is currently taking part in the ITV1 reality show and on Thursday (07.03.24) night’s episode reveals that she has chosen former ‘Love Island’ winner Ekin, 29, to go up for the public vote because of how she has been pressuring her to get into the hot tub and “show off [her] cellulite”.
Explaining her reasons behind her nomination, she says: “She’s a couple of times suggested that I could fit into one of her bikinis and get into the hot tub, you know, show off your cellulite, see how you roll your bosoms up like a swiss roll and tuck them in your bra, but from my point of view it’s like I’ve had those days darling, thanks very much but no.”
The former ‘Dancing on Ice’ contestant is seen chatting with YouTube star Zeze Millz, 34, where she insists that ‘Love Island’ was nothing like a “free holiday” for her and that the public only saw a tiny portion of the show that made her famous.
Zeze says: “I would never do Love Island, but if you are in a hot country it is kinda like a free holiday, do you know what I mean?”
Ekin disagrees, by saying: “It wasn’t really for me…”
Zeze answers: “Maybe we didn’t get to see that.”
Ekin adds: “It’s a reality show filmed 24/7 honey, you only see 40 minutes of it.”
Zeze replies: “That’s what I just said, that’s why I said we didn’t get to see all of it.”
Ekin-Su agrees: “Yeah, you didn’t”
Zeze confirms: “That’s what I just said!”
Elsewhere, Ekin-Su is seen having a conversation with ‘Coronation Street’ star Colson Smith, 25, where he suggests that she should be used to the idea of eliminations because of how she had to nominate others on ‘Love Island’ but is adamant that the format is “not the same”.
Colson asks: “On Love Island, do you have to say who you want to go on that?”
Ekin says: “This is not ‘Love Island’, this is not the same.”
Colson adds: “But on that, do you have to say…”
Ekin replies: “It’s not the same, please just let it go.”
‘Celebrity Big Brother’ continues tonight at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX and is available in Ireland on Virgin Media Two and Virgin Media Player.

Greta Gerwig open to Barbie 2 on one condition

OHMYGOSSIP — Greta Gerwig will make a ‘Barbie’ sequel if she finds the “undertow”.
The 40-year-old filmmaker is open to the idea of a follow-up after the success of her blockbuster = which starred Margot Robbie as the iconic Mattel doll – but it’s not a given.
Speaking at the West Hollywood Edition where she was honoured as one of Time magazine’s Women of the Year, she said: “If I find the undertow, then we get it. If I don’t find an undertow, there’s no more.”
She admitted: “It’s something that I loved making so much.
“And I loved the world that we built so much and all of the actors and the idea of getting to be with that group of people again is very exciting.”
When it comes to making that decision, she wants to find the right connection to any particularly project she attaches herself to.
She explained: “My North Star is ‘What do I deeply love? What do I really care about? Like, ‘What’s the story underneath this story?’
“And I think with ‘Barbie,’ the story underneath this story was I loved Barbie. I remember going to Toys R Us and looking at Barbies and I loved their hair. And I loved everything about them and my mom was not sure about it.
“And I find that’s the story, that’s the generational story… I’m always trying to find those undertows.”
And with those choices, Gerwig is determined not to limit herself by set definitions for what makes a film right for her.
She added: “The great thrill that I get is kind of figuring out how to build my wings on the way down.
“Just kind of leaping from the tallest thing I can find… I hope to make all different kinds of movies in my career, big and small.
“But I think they always have to have that element of adventure because it’s the way I get my kicks.”

Ryan Gosling was in disbelief when Steven Spielberg hugged him and praised The Fall Guy

OHMYGOSSIP — Ryan Gosling’s career was made after Steven Spielberg hugged him and told him how much he enjoyed his movie ‘The Fall Guy’.
The 43-year-old Hollywood star had his first encounter with the legendary filmmaker, 77, at the Golden Globes in January, and he couldn’t believe the ‘War Horse’ was walking over to speak to him, let alone praise his upcoming action-comedy film, in which he plays stuntman Colt Seavers.
The ‘Barbie’ star told Variety: “I saw Steven Spielberg walking in my direction.
“I don’t know Steven Spielberg. I thought there’s no way he’s coming to talk to me. And yet he kept getting closer, and then I thought I know what’s going to happen. I’m going to point to him, and he’s going to go, ‘Not you, behind you,’ so I’m not going to do that. Finally, I said, ‘Me?’ and he goes, ‘Yeah you.’ I go, ‘I’m sorry I didn’t think you were coming to talk to me.’ And I stood up and he gave me a hug and said, ‘I just saw Fall Guy and I loved it.’”
Gosling added: “As far as I’m concerned it doesn’t matter anymore what happens.
“Steven Spielberg liked it. That was an all-time moment for me. I’m really excited for people to see it. I think it’s a really special movie.”
Gosling insists the film is “very unique” to other movies in the genre.
He added: “The stunts are amazing, they’re practical stunts.
“The Fall Guy is so special.
“You can feel the difference. It’s such a love letter to movies and moviemaking and the people who make movies…It’s a very unique perspective on a genre of movie that we all love so much but it’s from a perspective you’ve never seen it, from the people who actually make it and how sort of much they’ve been taken for granted.”

Disastrous Willy Wonka experience lands Channel 5 documentary

OHMYGOSSIP — Channel 5 is working on a documentary about the disastrous ‘Willy Wonka Chocolate Experience’.
The broadcaster has commissioned a one-off film about the failed event in Glasgow, with parents furious and children crying after organisers had promised “delectable” chocolate fountains and “whimsical” Oompa-Loompas.
Channel 5 has confirmed plans for ‘Willy Wonka: The Scandal That Rocked Britain’, which will air on March 16.
A synopsis has not been revealed for the documentary, which is being produced by Mentorn Media.
What was meant to be an immersive experience costing families up to £35 a ticket for “a day of pure imagination and wonder” left punters bitterly disappointed.
Instead of an event befitting of Roald Dahl’s magical creation, the scarcely decorated warehouse included small candyland posters pinned to the walls, furniture dotted around the room, and actors struggling to remember their lines.
Actress Kirsty Paterson – who played an Oompa Loompa – recently told ITV’s ‘Good Morning Britain: “They told us this was going to be pantomime style and that we were going to perform as they walked through.
“But what happened is, they gave us the scripts the night before and I remember on the Friday when I went it looked like that…
“And I kind of thought to myself, surely they must have people working throughout the night for this to be better with lights and everything like that.”
House of Illuminati – the company behind the event – has confirmed customers will be given refunds.
Last week, the organiser wrote on its official Facebook page: “I want to extend my sincerest apologies to each and every one of you who was looking forward to this event.
“I understand the disappointment and frustration this has caused, and for that, I am truly sorry.”

Lee Mack surprised ITV wanted him back for more 1 Per Cent Club

OHMYGOSSIP — Lee Mack couldn’t believe it when he found out ITV re-booked him for two more series of ‘The 1% Club’.
The 55-year-old comedian has confessed that he wast surprised to receive the call to say he’d be returning as the host of the IQ-testing series.
An insider told The Sun: “The show has well and truly proved its popularity with viewers, and so it’s only natural to bring it back for not one, but two more rounds.
“This will also include two Christmas specials, which will air on ITV after the main series have run.”
The host said: “Let’s be honest, the fact that I haven’t accidentally given a hundred grand to the wrong person or read out the answer instead of the question is as much a surprise to me as it is to everyone else.
“I’m really delighted that ITV is risking me steering this ship once again.
“I can’t wait to discover more of the nation’s brainboxes.”
The stand-up recently boasted his “brilliant” jokes helped make the quiz show a hit.
He told Richard Herring, 56, on the comic’s ‘RHLSTP’ podcast: “I can’t take any credit for it because it’s not my format.
“On the pilot episode I said, ‘There is no way these 100 contestants are going to laugh at my jokes, they will be too busy trying to win the £100,000.
“I didn’t get any laughs, but I did think, ‘This is a good format as my jokes are so brilliant.’
“They have cast people who are bright and fun and, even though you think about serious quizzers doing it, no same person will get it right every time.”
‘The 1% Club’ continues on Saturday night (09.03.24) on ITV and ITVX from 8.35pm.

Vanessa Feltz would turn down the chance to appear on Naked Attraction: ‘I’m no prude but…’

OHMYGOSSIP — Vanessa Feltz would never want to go on ‘Naked Attraction’.
The 62-year-old broadcaster – who split from Ben Ofoedu after 17 years together when she discovered he had been unfaithful – is not a fan of the Channel 4 show which sees members of the public strip off and bare all in the hopes of finding a partner and would have to refuse the chance to appear if she was ever approached for a potential celebrity edition.
Writing in a piece for The Sun newspaper, she said: “Disliking the show does not make me a prude and I don’t think ‘Naked Attraction’ is immoral.
“Anna Richardson is a very good presenter and is a pleasure to watch and listen to. It’s also slickly produced, fast-paced and well put together.
“So if you like it, I don’t object to it at all. But when you walk down the street, would you really like to see everyone’s genitalia and whether they’re big or small, or pierced or unpierced?
“My answer is: I really wouldn’t. Every now and then, a celebrity version of ‘Naked Attraction’ is mooted.
“According to host Anna, Duncan James once told her he’d be willing to expose his bits on screen, should the call come.
“If they asked me to appear, with regret, I’d have to turn them down.”
The former ‘Celebs Go Dating’ star – who has Allegra, 38, and 35-year-old Saskia with ex-husband Michael Kurer – then joked she would feel “guilty” in saying no because of what she would be “depriving” the nation.
She said: “I am a grandmother and a political commentator who has interviewed the Prime Minister.
“But I would feel guilty saying no, sad to be depriving the nation of such a glorious, exquisite vista!”

Linda Nolan makes plea to NHS as she battles cancer: ‘This is like a horror film!’

OHMYGOSSIP — Linda Nolan thinks it is “frightening” that a cancer drug that could potentially extend lives has been blocked by NHS England.
The 65-year-old star was initially diagnosed with stage-three breast cancer in 2005 before overcoming it a year later, but in 2017 she was told that she had a form of incurable secondary cancer, which spread to her hip in 2020, and then to her brain last year.
But she decided to speak out after learning that Enhertu had been licenced for the treatment of breast cancer in Scotland, but not in England. and claimed that denying cancer patients such treatment was like a “horror film” storyline.
She said: “This is truly frightening and I’d urge readers to sign the petition for Enhertu’s approval to be reconsidered. As women we’re told to check, go to the doctor with any problem, then undergo treatment if we need it – and the outcome can be good.
“But to be denied the treatment, and potentially extra months or years? That’s a storyline which belongs in a horror film. Lives are at risk and everyone should have access to the drug, regardless of where they live. They’re being let down.”
Meanwhile, the former ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ contestant revealed that she has been watching a storyline ITV1 soap opera ‘Emmerdale’ which has seen series regular Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) diagnosed with breast cancer and wants the writers to “go gentler” on the long-running character.
“Soaps do a great job raising important awareness but when it comes to Chas Dingle and her breast cancer diagnosis I find myself wishing they’d go gentler. Her fear is screaming at me. I’d urge the scriptwriters to find the positivity too.”

Nicola Coughlan admits Made In Chelsea was ‘more real and more fake’ than she expected

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicola Coughlan got her first break as an extra on ‘Made In Chelsea’.
The ‘Bridgerton’ star rose to fame on Channel 4 sitcom ‘Derry Girls’, but while working as a struggling actress before landing her first big role, she was called up to be part of the E4 reality series.
Appearing on this week’s episode of ‘Rob Beckett’s Smart TV’, she said: “‘Made In Chelsea’ is both more real and it’s more fake than I thought – because you stand in the back silently like proper extras, you can’t speak, and the relationships are real, but the environment is fake.
“It was Lucy Watson and Binky Felstead having a chat and then Spencer Matthews came in, and Lucy started bawling, crying, and Binky was shouting, ‘Cut the cameras, she’s not doing this’.
“I was like, ‘This is the best day of my life.’ ”
Nicola, 37, recently revealed she worked hard and went through some tough times before becoming an established actress, and she now wants to make the most of every opportunity because she realises she’s very “privileged” to be able to do a job she loves.
Speaking at the reopening of the Disneyland Hotel at Disneyland Paris last month, Nicola explained: “I think the constant drive for me is to make things that will make people feel something, whether it’s laugh, cry, evoke some memory, all that kind of stuff drives me.
“I love my job, I feel really privileged. I want to do it forever.
“It was a long road to get to do it, and now I think I just soak up every moment. When you meet people who watch the things you’ve done and it made them feel something, that’s the best thing.”

Claudia Winkleman’s son told her to swap Strictly Come Dancing for Match of the Day

OHMYGOSSIP — Claudia Winkleman’s son wanted her to quit ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ for ‘Match of the Day’.
The 52-year-old star has co-hosted the BBC’s Latin and ballroom competition alongside Tess Daly since 2011, but her son – who she has with husband Kris Thykier – has urged her to take on a very different role.
Appearing on Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett’s ‘Dish with Waitrose’ podcast, she said: “My son, about four years ago, went, ‘You have to stop doing that show… can you just work on ‘Match of the Day?’
“I was like, ‘I can’t spell football!’ ”
Claudia – who recently quit her BBC Radio 2 show – is still open to new opportunities, and her stint hosting ‘The Traitors’ has proven to be a huge success.
However, she still works with the idea that nothing lasts forever.
She joked: “It’s all going to be over. Number one, I feel incredibly lucky… it is unbelievable. But you can also never assume that it’s going to last.
“I just think you have to be grateful, and if it ends tomorrow, I’ve had an amazing run, thank you, night, night.”
She added: “It’s lovely to work when it’s going well, but it might not always go well.”
Claudia joined ‘The Traitors’ in 2022 and returned for its second series earlier this year, but she very nearly turned down the job until she’d seen the original Dutch version of the reality TV favourite.
She explained: “[I almost turned it down] because of my innate laziness … I was like, ‘I’m really sorry I can’t go to Scotland for three and a half weeks, but thank you so much for thinking of me. And why don’t you ask the following people? Thank you, bye’.
“And they said, ‘Just before you say definite no, can we just send you the tapes of the Dutch version?’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, okay, I really won’t get round to [watching it’ … and then four days later, ‘Have you watched it yet?’ I was like, ‘No … I am napping.’ ”
After binging all 12 series, she recalled: “I texted my boss at the BBC … and I said, ‘I’ll book my own train. Yeah, I’m coming. I’m going to Inverness.’ ”
