Susanna Reid says her ‘armour crumbled’ making new documentary

OHMYGOSSIP — Susanna Reid’s “armour crumbled” during the making of her new documentary.
The 46-year-old TV presenter has made a one-off show for ITV’s ‘Crime & Punishment’ series about the 2015 murder of 16-year-old Becky Watts, and Susanna – who has sons Sam, 15, Finn, 13, and Jack, 12, with Dominic Cotton – has confessed the story took a toll on her.
She explained: “As a journalist, you deal with a lot of horror, so you develop a certain armour to switch your emotions off, but there are times when that armour just crumbles.
“In those moments, you are no longer a journalist, you are someone who knows what it would be like. Your heart and soul just goes out to them. Afterwards, you realise you have been much more affected by it than you thought.
“It does make you go home and hug your own kids that bit tighter at night because you see the true devastation of what some parents experience.”
During the documentary, Susanna speaks with the victim’s dad Darren and step-mother Anjie about Becky’s murder in Bristol.
And Susanna admitted the experience of making the programme has made her more appreciative of the people in her own life.
She told The Sun newspaper: “I am very grateful that I have my kids, and those simple pleasures like cooking with them or just hanging out become much more important with that in mind.
“Obviously I don’t want my children to bear the responsibilities of my job, so you have to leave it at the door because you’d be a wreck, but sometimes I wonder where [the darker things] lodge in your brain.
“I hope what it does is make you have an appreciation for the good things in life, while having an understanding of the pain some families go through.”

Dwayne Johnson set for Black Adam appearance in Suicide Squad 2?

OHMYGOSSIP — Dwayne Johnson is reportedly set to appear in ‘Suicide Squad 2’ as Black Adam.
The ‘Fast & Furious’ star has signed up to portray the comic book character in his own standalone movie in the DC Extended Universe.
But according to The Wrap, the follow-up to 2016’s ‘Suicide Squad’ – which featured the likes of Jared Leto as The Joker, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn and Will Smith as Deadshot in a star-studded ensemble cast – could be the moment Black Adam makes his screen debut.
The report adds that plans for the sequel could see the gang tasked with tracking down a weapon of mass destruction, which is actually Black Adam, who is the arch nemesis of superhero Shazam in the DC Comics.
Teasing the Black Adam film recently, Johnson said: “We have a really cool surprise for Black Adam that I can’t reveal, in terms of where we will see Black Adam being introduced.”
Zachary Levi has been cast as Captain Marvel in the upcoming DCEU film ‘Shazam!’ which gets its name from the word Billy Batson utters to transform himself into the superhero.
The word is an acronym of the ancient world gods and historical figures: Solomon, Hercules, Atlas, Zeus, Achilles and Mercury.
The character was created by C.C. Beck and writer Bill Parker back in 1939 and first appeared in Whiz Comics #2 a year later.
After the ‘Shazam!’ and ‘Black Adam’ movies have hit cinemas the two characters will come together to fight each other in an epic blockbuster from DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Pictures.

J.K Simmons open to Spider-Man return

OHMYGOSSIP — J.K Simmons would “never say never” to returning to the Spider-Man world.
The 62-year-old actor starred as Daily Bugle newspaper editor J. Jonah Jameson in all three of Sam Raimi ‘Spider-Man’ movies, and he has returned to the comic book genre playing Police Commissioner James Gordon in the DC Extended Universe film ‘Justice League’.
Simmons loved playing Jameson and would very much like to make a return to the character in Tom Holland’s Spider-Man films which are part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Simmons said: “I never say never. I mean, you know, obviously I had an amazing time with Sam Raimi on those movies and Tobey Maguire and everybody.
“That was a great, great time and huge for my career and my life, and just pure fun. If there were an opportunity to revisit that … I don’t know though. How old is ‘Spider-Man’ going to be if J. Jonah Jameson is this old?”
Holland starred in his first feature film as the webslinger this year in ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’.
Despite being part of the MCU, the film marked the first time Marvel and Sony Pictures – who own the film rights to Spider-Man – worked together on the fan favourite superhero after Marvel sold the rights in 1985 for $225,000.
However, Sony Pictures are also developing their own ‘Spider-Man’ universe and recently announced two spin-off movies are in the works.
Sony has announced the release date for the upcoming Gina Prince-Bythewood directed movie ‘Silver and Black’, which will hit cinemas four months after the previously announced October 2018 release of ‘Venom’, starring Tom Hardy.

Yorgos Lanthimos proud to shock with Sacred Deer

OHMYGOSSIP — Yorgos Lanthimos isn’t bothered if people call ‘Killing of a Sacred Deer’ “disturbing”.
The 44-year-old filmmaker helmed the new psychological thriller starring Colin Farrell and Nicole Kidman, but admitted he finds it strange that people are “shocked about certain things” in the plot and has problem with people dubbing his latest movie “disturbing”.
Speaking to Sky News, Lanthimos said: “I do find it strange that we’re so shocked about certain things and we find certain things so taboo, and we refrain from talking about them or thinking about them or exposing them more often in art or in entertainment.
“That’s why we made this film, you need to be at least puzzled or disturbed because you realise that you can not necessarily give an answer to a certain question and you’re not sure about where you place yourself in such a dilemma, or you can’t understand it.
“So yeah, I guess disturbing is good.”
‘The Killing of a Sacred Deer’ follows the story of Steven Murphy (Farrell) and his family who has been accused of killing a patient on the operating table.
But he has to make a big sacrifice when the behaviour of a teenage boy, who he has taken under his wing, starts to turn sinister.
Farrell stars alongside Kidman, who portrays Steven’s wife Anna, in the movie, and the Oscar winner recently admitted that it was one of the strangest films she has ever worked on.
The actor also revealed that he got depressed while filming the psychological horror.
He said: “But, honest to God, by the end of this film I was down. Part of that was to do with the beard. Some people love beards, for sure, but it really weighed me down. But mostly it was the tone of the film. It’s just bleak to its core.
“Yorgos thinks it’s a comedy, that this is his ‘Anchorman’. I beg to differ.”

Ryan Reynolds wants to know what future of Dead could be

OHMYGOSSIP — Ryan Reynolds has taken to Twitter to ask how ‘Deadpool’ would be affected by a Disney merger with 21st Century Fox merger.
The 41-year-old actor starred as the Merc with a Mouth in the hit 2016 movie and has just wrapped up finishing the highly-anticipated sequel, but this week Fox Studios – who own the rights to ‘Deadpool’ and ‘X-Men’ franchises – reportedly were in talks to sell most of the company to Disney, who also own Marvel Studios.
Reynolds has now posed an open question on Twitter asking how his R-rated character would fit into the PG-13 Marvel Cinematic Universe.
He wrote: “If this is true, I wonder how the fudge it would affect Deadpool? (sic)”
Reynolds recently revealed he would love to see his character appear in the MCU but due to excessive violence and foul-mouthed language, the character is unlikely to make an appearance.
Speaking to Total Film Magazine, Reynolds said: “That sounds like a great idea but a very expensive idea. Can you imagine that s**t-talking contest with Iron Man? Oh, that would be great. But it would have to be rated R to completely unharness everybody.
“Unbridle the merriment and watch them go…”
The next ‘Deadpool’ movie stars Josh Brolin as the villain Cable – the son of X-Men members Cyclops and Madelyne Prior – and Reynolds said Brolin is “everything you want in a character”.
He said: “Josh is everything you want in a character that’s as iconic and imposing as Cable.
“He’s going to bring the right levels of intimidation and charisma.”
Stefan Kapacic will reprise his role as Colossus and Brianna Hildebrand returns as teenage psychic Negasonic Teenage Warhead.
Morena Baccarin will also return as Deadpool’s love interest Vanessa Carlysle, and Leslie Uggams will reprise her role as Blind Al.

Jeremie Laheurte joins A Private War

OHMYGOSSIP — Jeremie Laheurte has joined the cast of ‘A Private War’.
The 27-year-old actor – who is best known for starring in ‘Blue is the Warmest Colour’ – is set to star as the famed French war photographer Remi Ochlik in the Marie Colvin biopic, The Hollywood Reporter reports.
Laheurte will join Rosamund Pike and Jamie Dornan in the new movie set to be helmed by ‘Cartel Land’ filmmaker Matthew Heineman.
‘A Private War’ will follow the American journalist Marie Colvin, who worked for British newspaper The Sunday Times from 1985.
Colvin covered major conflicts across the world, from Chechyna to Sri Lanka where she lost the sight in her left eye in 2001 due to a blast from a Sri Lankan rocket propelled grenade.
Colvin and Ochlik were both killed during a rocket attack while covering the Seige of Homs in Syria in 2012 while reporting for the newspaper.
Pike, 38, will star as the journalist but Dornan’s role in the movie is yet to be revealed.
The script, penned by Arash Amel, is based on a 2012 Vanity Fair article, written by Marie Brenner, entitled ‘Marie Colvin’s Private War’.
Meanwhile, producing is Thunder Road Pictures’ Basil Iwanyk and Kamala Films’ Marissa McMahon, with Erica Lee serving as the executive producer.
Production is planned for an October start in the UK and Middle East.
Pike has just finished filming Scott Cooper’s ‘Hostiles’ opposite Christian Bale and Ben Foster.
Dornan, on the other hand, is set to reprise his role as Christian Grey in the final instalment of the popular franchise, which is set to be released next Valentine’s Day (14.02.18)
The Hollywood hunk is also set to appear as Will Scarlet in ‘Robin Hood Origins’.
The film – which also features Taron Egerton as the titular character, Jamie Foxx as Little John, Eve Hewson as Maid Marian, Ben Mendelsohn as the Sheriff of Nottingham and Tim Minchin as Friar Tuck – is scheduled to be released on September 21, 2018.

Ben Affleck doesn’t know his future as Batman

OHMYGOSSIP — Ben Affleck doesn’t know if he will continue as Batman in the DC Extended Universe.
The 45-year-old actor has starred as The Caped Crusader in two films so far – ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ and the upcoming ‘Justice League’ but also cameoed in both ‘Suicide Squad’ and ‘Wonder Woman’ – but admitted he doesn’t know what the future holds for his character.
Speaking to ExtraTV about his future in the famous cape and cowl beyond, Affleck said: “I don’t know about that. We’ll see what the future holds.”
Affleck will be seen once again as Batman alongside Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Jason Momoa (Aquaman), Ezra Miller (The Flash), Ray Fisher (Cyborg) and Henry Cavill (Superman) in ensemble superhero movie ‘Justice League’ which hits cinemas this month.
Affleck is also due to be Bruce Wayne and his heroic alter ego in ‘Justice League 2’ and the standalone Batman movie planned by Warner Bros. Pictures which is being directed by Matt Reeves from a script co-written by Affleck.
Recently, Miller admitted he would love to see Jeffrey Dean Morgan be Batman in ‘Flashpoint’.
The 25-year-old actor is set to get his own standalone film as the speedy superhero, which if it follows the comic storyline of the same name, will explore an alternate universe for the famous characters.
‘Flashpoint’ involves Barry Allen aka The Flash travelling back in time and saving his mother’s life, creating a radical new reality where the Justice League never formed.
With the new reality, heroes and villains have swapped places, while characters like Aquaman and Wonder Woman have become competing warlords and Batman’s father Thomas Wayne takes on a very different version of The Dark Knight.
In ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’, Morgan and Lauren Cohan played Thomas and Martha Wayne so Miller would love to see them back in the roles for ‘Flashpoint’.
And Miller thinks Thomas Wayne’s darker Batman is one of the most exciting parts of the story.
Speaking to ComicBook.com, he said: “I think that the emotional arc of the Thomas Wayne stuff in ‘Flashpoint’ is one of the illest parts.
“And to see that different manifestation of Batman and his whole different style. And I love the reality that you have this universe that is so inverted from one that we know.
“And this one factor remains the same, but in this flipped way. Batman is steady, but it’s going to be the result of a different side of the same tragedy with Thomas Wayne instead of Bruce, and that’s dope.”

Guillermo del Toro reveals his reasons for taking a year-long break

OHMYGOSSIP — Guillermo del Toro decided to take a year-long break from directing because he wanted to “travel with ‘Shape of Water'”.
The 53-year-old movie-maker recently revealed he intends to take a break from the industry following the release of his latest fantasy film, and Guillermo has now revealed the thinking behind the move.
He shared: “I felt ‘The Shape of Water’ needed a good six months of undivided attention, to find an audience and to enjoy it, as a human being that made something I’m proud of and happy with. It’s happened to me, in the past.
“In 2001, with ‘The Devil’s Backbone’, which is my second favourite movie I’ve ever done, I was doing ‘Blade 2’. ‘Shape’ is the first, and then ‘Devil’s, and then ‘Pan’s [Labyrinth]’. When ‘Devil’s Backbone’ was touring, I was busy in post-production on ‘Blade 2’, and it shouldn’t happen like that. I was so proud of that movie, and I didn’t enjoy it and I didn’t maximise my time with it.
“Movies are like children. They grow up and they leave you, and they don’t come back home. They go to university and don’t call. So, I wanted to travel with ‘Shape of Water’.”
Guillermo also revealed that despite taking his break from the industry, he still intends to helm the remake of the ‘Fantastic Voyage’ for 20th Century Fox.
Speaking to Collider, he explained: “I announced the year in September, and if everything goes well and it happens, it would happen next September.
“We’d start prepping again. We had already delayed it. It is a very difficult movie, technically, and I needed to figure out a bunch of stuff.
“We’ve been doing R&D and we’ve been building stuff. I never know whether they’re going to happen or not. I’ve learned that, in 25 years. But, we’re still working on it.”

Christopher Nolan asks Steven Spielberg for advice

OHMYGOSSIP — Christopher Nolan asked Steven Spielberg for advice before filming ‘Dunkirk’.
The 47-year-old director might be a Hollywood heavyweight in his own right, but even he had to turn to the likes of filmmaking legend Spielberg before embarking on his journey into Second World War project ‘Dunkirk’, as he wanted tips from the man who had achieved success with similarly themed movie ‘Saving Private Ryan’.
Spielberg, 70, said: “Knowing and respecting that Chris is one of the world’s most imaginative filmmakers, my advice to him was to leave his imagination, as I did on ‘Ryan,’ in second position to the research he was doing to authentically acquit this historical drama.”
As part of his research into making the movie – which starred Tom Hardy, Kenneth Branagh, and One Direction’s Harry Styles in his acting debut – Christopher sat down to watch ‘Saving Private Ryan’, and learned which elements he wanted to be different.
He said: “The film has lost none of its power. It’s a truly horrific opening, and there are later sequences that are horrible to sit through. We didn’t want to compete with that because it is such an achievement. I realised I was looking for a different type of tension.”
Instead, Christopher wanted “suspense”, and said his goal was to create “physical jeopardy”.
He added: “I needed suspense, and the language of suspense is one where you can’t take your eyes from the screen. The language of horror is one where you hide your eyes. You’re looking away. It’s a different form of tension. We constructed our set-pieces not around violence, not around blood, but around physical jeopardy.”
Christopher – whose impressive directing credits also include ‘The Dark Knight’, ‘The Dark Knight Rises’, and ‘Inception’ – doesn’t even think ‘Dunkirk’ is a war film.
He told Variety magazine: “I didn’t view this as a war film. I viewed it as a survival story.”

Coronation Street will have ‘intense’ festive season

OHMYGOSSIP — Coronation Street’s Kate Oates has teased a “really intense” festive season for the soap.
The show’s executive producer can’t wait for the Christmas episodes to hit television screens next month because she’s set up an “extravaganza” for Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne), hinted that the “ghosts” of vicar Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) will come back to haunt him and is convinced Carla Connor’s (Alison King) shock return will send shockwaves through the street.
Kate told The Sun Online: “We’ve got a bit of a Peter Barlow extravaganza – that will be exciting. We’ve got a certain Connor returning and I believe you can guess who I’m talking about. It’s going to be a really intense Christmas where the ghosts of Billy’s past come back to haunt him and some nice intense stuff for the Barlows so yeah it’s going to be exciting.”
Alison left the soap over 18 months ago but speculation about her return has been rife since Kate took over the reins early last year – and she confirmed the news a few months ago.
Kate explained: “Ever since I got here, it’s been rumoured that Carla’s coming back. But it was never true. Even the latest indications of it. Ali has only just signed her contract and she’ll be back around Christmas. It’s time to break new ground with Carla. I didn’t want to put her on that familiar cycle of self-destruction, recovery, followed by more self-destruction … What we’ll have instead are these two strong Connor women – Carla and Michelle – on opposing sides and in conflict for a change. It’ll be a refreshing dynamic for us to see.”

Nicola McLean accuses David Van Day of sexual misconduct

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicola McLean has accused David Van Day of sexual misconduct after he groped her bum and tried to kiss her while doing ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ in 2008.
The 36-year-old former glamour model has claimed she felt “uncomfortable” when the Dollar singer, 60, inappropriately touched her body live on television while they were filming a car wash challenge for the creepy-crawly show nine years ago.
Speaking to The Sun Online, she said: “I was washing a car but he thought it was appropriate to spank my bum and try to kiss me.
“His behaviour was very strange and made me feel so uncomfortable – I’d gone from arguing non-stop with this man who was old enough to be my father – to have his hands on my body when I was wearing my bikini. It was very sexually inappropriate. He even said ‘I’m a hot blooded male and I can see two things I like’.”
Although it was caught on camera for the nation to see, the busty blonde didn’t kick up about David’s behaviour at the time because she didn’t want to be branded a drama queen and she was worried it would ruin her future jobs.
But, on reflection, she thinks he should’ve been kicked out of the jungle for his actions.
She explained: “I felt like I couldn’t say anything because if I’d said I felt vulnerable and didn’t like it, people would have thought I was being dramatic but would you like to go to work and have an old man put his hands on you? It was wrong and he should have been kicked out… If David Van Day had done what he did to me to someone who wasn’t a glamour model, there would have been uproar. I think there was an element of ‘oh she gets her boobs out for a living so I can do what I want.’
“The bosses called me in straight away and asked me about it. They did ask me if I felt David should be removed… I was grateful they could see I was uncomfortable and made sure I was OK.
“I was only 26 and I thought I’d just put up with it. I wouldn’t do that now though… I was worried about work and whether people would hire me again – I didn’t want to cause a fuss – but really I should have thought ‘f**k it, I don’t care if I never work in TV again – I shouldn’t let a man twice my age act inappropriate with me’.”
Nicola was engaged to her now-husband Tom Williams, with whom she has two sons Rocky and Striker, at the time and has admitted she was appalled when the singer suggested that they became the new “Katie and Peter” – a reference to Katie Price and Peter Andre, who met and fell in love on the show in 2004.

Antony Cotton has gashes over ankles from Dancing on Ice training

OHMYGOSSIP — Antony Cotton has gashes all over his ankles from his blades on ‘Dancing on Ice’.
The ‘Coronation Street’ actor – who is known for playing Sean Tully in the long-running soap – has been trying to break in his skates as quickly as possible because the leather boots have been giving him a nasty rash around the top of his feet.
Speaking on ‘This Morning’ on Wednesday (08.11.17), he said: “Training is going and so far I’ve not died so it’s going really well. I’ve fallen down once in each training session and I’m glad I did that because the more you fall, the more you get used it.
“So I’m not actually frightened of falling, it’s just finding the bite of the blades and ice. My boots absolutely kill me, I’ve got welts all over my ankles, it’s just painful. I will get used to it, I went out in them last night to try and manipulate them.”
But it’s not just his feet that are suffering as a result of training, as the 42-year-old star is struggling to keep up his energy levels as he’s having to get up very early in the morning to do three hours of training before going to the soap set to film.
He explained: “You just have to start really early in the morning. They’re long days but there’s so much nonsense in the world and I’m just thrilled that I’ve got a job – I’ve got two jobs – and it’s something challenging and it is going to be fun. I’ve laughed my head off at the ridiculousness of it because it is ridiculous…”
However, Antony isn’t doing it alone as his co-star Brooke Vincent has also signed up to the programme – although he’s adamant there won’t be any rivalry.
He said: “There was suspicion because it was in the paper and I kept looking at her and thinking: ‘I wonder if Brooke’s doing it?’ And I kept looking at her and she was doing the same with me and then eventually I just said: ‘Are you doing Dancing on Ice’?’ and she went: ‘Yeah, are you?’ but we only found that out a couple of weeks ago … I’ve known Brooke since she was a little kid – she’s like a little sister. It’s strange because I am fiercely competitive but with Brooke, if someone said: ‘It’s either Brooke or you.’ I’d say: ‘Let Brooke go and win, let her do it.’ ”
And the 25-year-old actress – who plays Sophie Webster in the soap – isn’t the only familiar face as he’s also good friends with acid-tongue judge Jason Gardiner.
He said: “I’ve known Jason for 20 years and I know the real Jason. He’s a tough judge and he texted me and said: ‘Please, please, please be good because if you’re not, I’m going to let you have it.’ But I’ve got a couple of lines if he starts.”
But Antony isn’t worried as he’s been partnered with a “pocket rocket.”
He teased: “She’s new and she’s from California. She wasn’t on the show previously. I’ve got this new girl who is a little pocket rocket and I think she’s going to be wild.”

Stacey Solomon had hairy legs in primary school

OHMYGOSSIP — Stacey Solomon had hairy “bush” legs in primary school.
The 28-year-old TV presenter has decided not to shave her body hair for a whole month to see how much hair spouts out from her underarm, pubic area and slim pins, but she’s a little concerned because she had a hairy issue when she was younger.
Speaking on ‘Loose Women’ on Wednesday (08.11.17), Stacey said: “I love a hairy leg. I was so nervous at school about having hairy legs because my parents are both super hairy and my hairs are thick and dark and black. I used to, my mum didn’t let us shave until we were in secondary school, go in in a skirt and these bush legs.
“I hated it. I hated how everyone looked at me and felt really unconscious and now I’m like I’m not shaving for anyone. He loves the fur, Joe [Swash, her boyfriend] does.”
Stacey, Nadia Sawalha, Linda Robson and Kaye Adams have all agreed to stop shaving until December but the blonde beauty doesn’t mind because she prefers to wear trousers anyway.
She said: “I think I might be the topic of many chats in the back room because people are quite alarmed by the state of my grooming.
“I don’t shave a lot. I can’t be bothered, I’d rather wear trousers. They keep me warm.
“Linda and I have decided we’re not going to shave until December now, we’re going to go wild, go native for a few weeks.”
Linda, 59, also quipped that the hairs are there for a reason and admitted she lets them grow everywhere but on her chin.
The ‘Birds of a Feather’ star said: “I’m guessing if they’re there, they’re supposed to be there, so why am I supposed to shave them off all the time?
“I grow everything, everywhere – but I refuse to let the hairs on my chin grow.”

Stephanie Waring joins Dancing on Ice

OHMYGOSSIP — Stephanie Waring has completed the line-up for the forthcoming series of ‘Dancing on Ice’.
The ‘Hollyoaks’ actress – who is known for playing Cindy Cunningham in the Channel 4 soap – has been announced as the last celebrity to take part in the skating show reboot, which will hit screens early next year, and, although she’s “nervous”, she can’t wait to get stuck in.
Speaking on BUILD in London, the 39-year-old star said: “I’m very nervous. It’s so much to take on, but I think I’m up for the challenge. As long as I’ve got my kids supporting me, that’s all that matters. I’ve been watching some clips on YouTube. Especially Jorgie Porter who’s one of my all time favourites. I’ve only had a week of training so far, so we’ll see! The first day was pretty tough. I fell over once, but that wasn’t on camera, thank god. I was going backwards and I went to push myself off and I lost my footing and sort of landed on my elbow.”
Stephanie will have a tough task on her hands as she’ll go up against Coronation Street’s Antony Cotton and Brooke Vincent, track and field athlete Perri Shakes-Drayton as well as cricketer Monty Panesar, rugby hunk Max Evans, Jake Quickenden, Love Island’s Kem Cetinay, Great British Bake Off’s Candice Brown, Good Morning Britain’s weatherman Alex Beresford, TV personality Donna Air and Bucks Fizz’s Cheryl Baker.
It’s also been confirmed that acid-tongue Jason Gardiner has reclaimed his position on the judging panel alongside Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean – who previously mentored the contestants but have now switched positions – and Diversity dancer Ashley Banjo.
Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield will return as hosts.

Just Tattoo Of Us to get shake up after Charlotte Crosby and Bear split

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Just Tattoo Of Us’ has been thrown into chaos following Stephen Bear’s split from Charlotte Crosby.
The former couple have fronted two series together over the last year, but the third instalment, which has already been commissioned, is currently in jeopardy following their bitter break up last month as bosses don’t know if they’ll be able to work together anymore and are trying to come up with a solution.
A source told The Sun Online: “Charlotte and Bear just can’t work together since they broke up. One minute they love each other – the next it’s hate.
“MTV are desperate to keep them both involved with the show, they don’t want a ‘him or her’ situation. There are discussions taking place now to try and work it all out.”
However, although axing them both and finding two replacements is a possibility, bosses are hoping they can host separate episodes of the series and each have their own co-star.
The insider explained: “They think they could split the show between them and and have them present separate episodes. Scotty T would be great for Charlotte to work with but it’s not clear at the moment who Stephen’s co-presenter would be. No contracts have been signed yet. It could all change in a couple of days though – both sides are weighing up the options right now.”
The pair have been at loggerheads since the 27-year-old beauty launched into a Twitter tirade alleging the 27-year-old reality star “necked on” with another girl in a nightclub “in front of everyone” just two days after they went their separate ways.
But Bear doesn’t seem bothered by their split as he took to social media recently to brag about being “sexy, rich and single.”
He said: “When you wake up and realise your sexy, rich, single, drive a sports car and move into their house in 3 weeks. F*** all you haters. (sic)”
